McMahon, “Welcome to ‘WWF Superstars’! Jesse, we are in Springfield, MA, and we have a whole lot of things to talk about!”
Ventura, “We sure do McMahon! We have a new Intercontinental Champion, and I love it! The Ultimate Maniac ran out of luck!”
McMahon, “Mr. Perfect is the new Champion, but the Ultimate WARRIOR, will be out for revenge. How about the ‘Royal Rumble’ match?”
Ventura, “Hogan got lucky! He eliminated the Giant, but it was pure luck!
McMahon, “I don’t know about that! Finally, let’s talk about the ‘Main Event’. On Friday night, February 17, live on NBC, The ‘Million Dollar Man’ defends the WWF Title against the ‘Macho Man’ with two referees, Danny Davis, and Roddy Piper!
Ventura, “A trained official, and a lunatic! I don’t like this!”
McMahon, “We will talk to the ‘Hot Rod’ later in the program, now let’s go to Howard Finkel.”

Non-Title Match
Mr. Perfect (Intercontinental Champion) /Bobby ‘The Brain” Heenan.vs. S.D. Jones
Perfect took down the Ultimate Warrior at the Royal Rumble. Today he meets the veteran from the West Indies. Perfect is cocky, and it hurts him. Jones gets a rollup for a two count. Heenan shouts instructions from ringside. Perfect takes over and uses the Perfect plex for the win.
Winner-Mr. Perfect

The Ultimate Warrior vs. Pete Doherty
The “Duke of Dorchester” waits in the ring. The Warrior hits the ring, and goes right after Doherty. The former Champion is a house afire. Doherty rolls out of the ring to regroup. It doesn't work. The Warrior goes after him, and tosses him back in the ring. He slams the “Duke” and wins with a splash. The Warrior is out to regain the title.
Winner-The Ultimate Warrior
“Mean” Gene Okerlund is with Billy Jack Haynes.
Okerlund, “With me is a young man who returned to the World Wrestling Federation at the Royal Rumble, and proceeded to make it to the very end. Billy Jack Haynes, welcome back.”
Haynes, “Thank you Mr. Okerlund. I’m glad to be back. I have been trying, and getting ready. I think I’m ready to take on the best. I had a good night at the Royal Rumble. It’s a good starting point. I’m ready to meet anyone, at any time.”
Okerlund, “When Billy Jack Haynes comes to your city, get out and see him in action.”

Billy Jack Haynes vs. The Brooklyn Brawler
The powerhouse from Portland meets the rugged Brawler. Haynes looks good, but the Brawler holds his own using roughhouse tactics. It works for a time. Billy begins to rally. He overpowers the Brawler, and slaps on the full Nelson for the submission.

Handicap Match
Kamala w/Slick vs. Jerry Allen and Terry Gibbs
Slick has brought the Ugandan giant back to the WWF. He was one of the final three men in the Rumble. Tonight he meets two men. They try a two on one attack on Kamala, but he is too much. Whatever his opponents attempt, the Ugandan Warrior is too much. He splashes both men for the win. Slick just became much more powerful.
Winner-Kamala
“Mean” Gene Okerlund is with Roddy Piper.
Okerlund, “With me Roddy Piper. Mr. Piper, you have been named one of the two referees for the WWF Title match at the ‘Main Event’ on NBC. You and Danny Davis will split the refereeing duties. We know you ea t the WWF, and you and the ‘Macho Man’ don’t seem to be seeing eye to eye. The big question is, Can you be impartial?”
Piper, “Listen Gene, you’re right, I want a piece of DiBiase, but if Savage was the Champion, I’d want him. I don’t care. We all know that Danny Davis is crooked. He’s a weasel, and I don’t want him to cost the ‘Macho Man’ the title. I want a fair match, and then I want to, Beat the winner! Savage, you can trust me...this time.”
Okerlund, “February 17, live on NBC, DiBiase vs. Savage, Davis and Piper as referees!”

Roddy Piper vs. The Red Demon
Piper is full of energy. He takes the fight to the masked man. He slams the Demon’s head into the turnbuckle. The masked man is stunned. Roddy lands rapid fire rights, and lefts, and the Demon goes down. Piper goes for the cover. The Demon gets his foot on the ropes. The masked man makes a brief comeback, but Piper stops him. He slaps on the sleeper, and it’s over.
Winner-Roddy Piper
Sean Mooney is seated at the announce desk.
Mooney, “Hello fans! Hot the heels of the ‘Royal Rumble’ we have the ‘Main Event’! Professional wrestling has not aired on network TV for 30 years, but it returns, on Friday night, February 17, 8:00 PM on NBC! We know the feature match, the ‘Macho Man’, Randy Savage challenges, the ‘Million Dollar Man’, Ted DiBiase for the WWF Title. The special factor is, we will have two referees! Both Danny Davis and Roddy zipper will don the striped shirts. Will Piper keep Davis in line? Can Savage trust Piper? There are many questions to be answered. Today, we can add another match. The Von Erich Brothers will meet the Hart Foundation, with the winning team to meet, Demolition, the WWF Tag Team Champions, at a later date! What a night it will be!”

WWF Tag Team Championship
Demolition (Champions) w/Mr. Fuji vs. Cousin Luke and Cousin Junior w/Hillbilly Jim
The Champions have a lot of top teams chasing them. They can’t overlook the Hillbillies. Ventura points out that Luke and Junior have washed their overalls for the occasion. Smash and Luke open the match. Luke brawls, and Smash counters with his power. Hillbilly Jim shouts encouragement from ringside. Luke gets in a few good shots, but Smash counters, and he’s in control. He tags in Ax. The bigger member dishes out punishment. Luke is able to tag in Junior. He goes right after Ax. He is game, but Ax is too tough. He and Smash use Demolition decapitation for the win.
Winners-Demolition
Vince McMahon and Jesse Ventura close the show.
McMahon, “Jesse, 1988 is starting out as an exciting year. The WWF Title situation gets more intense, and speaking of intense, next week, the winner of the ‘Royal Rumble, Hulk Hogan will be with us!”
Ventura, “HA! Hogan may have won at the ‘Rumble’, but the Giant isn’t finished yet. I have some inside information that Andre may be here, next week, as well!”
McMahon, “I don’t know about that, but I know the ‘Hulkster’ will not back down! Don't miss it!”
