Ed Whalen: Hello there wrestling fans, I’m Ed Whalen and you’re tuning into Stampede TV, brought to you by International Wrestling. It’s quite a homecoming to be here in Calgary and what a night we have for you! Here tonight at the Victoria Pavilion, you will see a gargantuan TV match as Triple Crown Heavyweight Champion Terry Gordy and the One Man Gang do battle with Stan Hansen and Bruiser Brody. We’ll also have Chris Benoit facing off with Rollerball Rocco. Let’s start it off with the hometown hero, Owen Hart!
International TV Championship
‘The Rocket’ Owen Hart vs. Dave ‘Fit’ Finlay with Angel of Death
Owen gets a tremendous reception from the hometown fans, especially when his brother Bruce Hart arrives at ringside to join Ed Whalen on commentary and watch his brother’s back. Finlay is a wily veteran and takes down early, and tries his best to keep him grounded. However, Owen fires back with a string of right hands and drills Finlay with hurricanrana for a near fall. Owen goes up and connects with a missile dropkick square on the chin, and it’s over here. Angel of Death tries to climb on the apron, but Bruce Hart drags him down and begins brawling with him. A furious Finlay drags his Angel of Death away after the match as Bruce Hart slips his brother Owen five.
Winner: International TV Champion Owen Hart
Ed Whalen is joined at ringside by Owen Hart and his brother Bruce Hart.
Ed Whalen: Seems like old times, fellas!
Owen Hart: Mr. Whalen, what a thrill it is to be here in my hometown - the hometown of the Hart family. It’s an even bigger thrill to be standing here with my brother Bruce. Bruce, it’s good to see you back!
Bruce Hart: Where Stampede TV lives, you know the Harts will be a part of it. You never know which Hart brothers will be showing up here!
Owen Hart: I just want to say one thing. Bad News Allen had my back last week. He knows I’ll return the favor in the future. From what I hear, Bad News has some big plans so I’d advise the Triple Crown champion to watch out!
Ed Whalen: I’ll be joined by my main man later on. I look forward to hearing more! We’ll be right back.

Jim Davies is standing by with Madusa and this man:
Jim Davies: Well, Madusa. You asked for this time to introduce us to this individual. What’s this all about?
Madusa: I told you that Madusa is not only the sexiest woman in Canada, but that I also have the greatest wrestling mind. I’m all about making investments. I invested the Samoans and took them to the top - all for one single reason. I knew it’d lead to a payoff. I’ve now received that payoff from this man, the honorable sheik Abu Wizal. We have just made a contractual agreement for the Samoans.
Jim Davies: Wait a second, you’ve sold the Samoans and you’re leaving town?
Madusa: Did I say that? Let’s just say my deal with Mr. Wizal has made me a very wealthy woman, and that allows me to build my Diamond Exchange. I will collect the diamonds of professional wrestling and build the most impressive group in the history of Canadian wrestling. Mr. Wizal, best of luck to you with your investment, our business is done!
Abu Wizal: Good look to you. You are correct - our business is included. As long as our paths do not converge, there will be no trouble!
Jim Davies: Mr. Wizal, why are you here on Stampede TV? What brings you to Canada?
Abu Wizal: First of all, you will refer to me as the Honorable Exalted One Abu Wizal. As for your question, that is MY business. I’m a businessman, and where I see opportunity, I seize it. I already own gold here with my Samoans, and there will only be more to come!
Jim Davies: There you have it fans, the so-called Honorable Exalted One Abu Wizal is now the manager of the International Tag Team Champions, the Samoans. Madusa will be building here Diamond Exchange. I expect we’ll hear more on that in the weeks to come! Let’s go back to the ring.
Rick Martel and Tom Zenk vs. The Super Destroyers
We saw some friction between Zenk and Martel last week after Ricky’s aggressive tactics in his final showdown with ‘Gorgeous’ Jimmy Garvin. However, they seem to be on the same page this week. Zenk manages to plant Super Destroyer #1 with a belly-to-belly suplex and then tags in Martel. Rick locks in the Quebec Crab and it’s not long before he forces a submission. As soon as the bell rings, Rick Martel drops the hold and flashes a thumb’s up to Zenk. Rick Martel even tries helping Super Destroyer to his feet.
Winners: Rick Martel and Tom Zenk
Ed Whalen is joined at ringside by Rick Martel and Tom Zenk.
Ed Whalen: It’s nice to see you gentlemen back on the same page!
Rick Martel: Mr. Whalen, I’d just like to offer you an apology. Last week I got a little heated with you, and really I should have understood you didn’t have the full picture. I’d also like to tell my good friend Tom that I was just a little frustrated last week. I apologise for our little argument.
Tom Zenk: We’ve all been there, Ricky.
Rick Martel: Now I have a message for the Samoans, the Rougeaus and all the other great teams here. Get ready because Tom and myself are coming for the gold.
Tom Zenk: Well, all due respect Ricky, I think we also both have our own individual goals in mind, don’t we?
Rick Martel: Oh, well, yes of course. Mr. Whalen, thanks for having us out here today! And thanks to all the people - I love you all!
Ed Whalen: Hmm, seems to be a bit of confusion in the camp of Rick Martel and Tom Zenk. We’ll be right back!

Chris Benoit vs. Rollerball Rocco
This match was set up last week when Rollerball Rocco invited the promising Benoit to face him in the ring, and promised to show him some of the strategies he ‘taught’ Benoit’s idol Dynamite Kid. However, this never even gets started because Chris Benoit is ambushed on his way to the ring by these two men:
WHO THE HECK ARE THESE TWO?!
One of these men is dressed as Tiger Mask and the other is dressed like Black Tiger! Chris Benoit tries his best to fight these two masked men, but soon he’s outnumbered. ‘Tiger Mask’ plants Benoit with a Tiger Suplex as ‘Black Tiger’ climbs up to the top rope and connects with a senton splash. Now, Dan Kroffat hits the ring and he’s trying to protect his friend by covering him. However, ‘Black Tiger’ hits the ropes and connects with a leaping leg drop across the back, crunching both Kroffat and Benoit.
Now, there’s a commotion as Rollerball Rocco hits the ring wearing an all-black version of his singlet and he takes the microphone from Ed Whalen.
Rollerball Rocco: I told you I’d show what Dynamite Kid and Tiger Mask learned, Benoit. You’ve grown up idolizing Dynamite and Tiger Mask, haven’t you? You’ve idolized thieves! They stole what I taught them, and they made their names off my blood, sweat and tears! This is my revenge!
Rocco barks at the two masked men, who hit the ropes and connect with stereo Rollerball splashes across the backs of both Kroffat and Benoit. Now Rollerball Rocco orders his two men to stand at attention.
Rollerball Rocco: Were you people watching? Long ago, they called me the Black Tiger. I think it’s all starting to make sense now isn’t it? This young man is my heir, the Black Tiger II. And this man next to him, this is my very own Tiger Mask. This man has all of the original’s attributes, and I’ve trained him expertly to avoid all of his weaknesses. These two are the Sons of the Black Tiger - or the Sons of the Tiger because I’m the one TRUE Tiger of professional wrestling!
This psychotic ranting is thankfully cut short as Owen Hart, Bruce Hart, Tom Zenk and Steve Black hit the ring now to run off Rollerball Rocco and his Sons of the Tiger. The good guys help Chris Benoit and Dan Kroffat back to their feet.
Ed Whalen: This Rocco is off his rocker, fans! I have a feeling they’ve just made some very capable enemies.

Ed Whalen: Well, joining me for our main event this week is my main man, Bad News Allen. Hi there Bad News!
Bad News Allen: Always good to see you, Ed. You know, I’m out here for a reason tonight. See, all these guys are trying to stake out their shot at Terry Gordy. You got Brody, Hansen, who knows what’s going on with that One Man Gang! I got one thing none of them have - a contact! See, I won a battle royal two weeks back and a title shot was part of the prize. So all you big bad dudes need to stand behind the Ultimate Warrior because Terry Gordy, you got a date with Bad News very soon!
Ed Whalen: Not good news for Terry Gordy! Bad News just might have his number. Let’s go back to this ring for our big tag team main event.
TV Main Event:
Bruiser Brody and Stan Hansen vs. Terry Gordy and One Man Gang with Freebird Michael Hayes
Michael Hayes has his work cut out for him trying to keep Gordy and Gang on the same page before the match because this arrangement is clearly a monetary one. The war begins with Brody and Hansen hitting the ring and brawling with all three! Michael Hayes quickly bails out and we have a vicious fight over the next several minutes. Hansen nearly pins Gordy with a big boot, but Bamm Bamm is able to kick out. Brody makes the tag and comes off the ropes with a big knee drop, only for Gordy to roll away. Brody limps up to his feet, gets scooped up and suplexed by Gordy!
This brings Hansen back in, with the Gang joining the fray. Now we have all four men brawling in the ring once again. Gordy and Gang end up bumping backs, and Terry instinctively decks One Man Gang. Now, One Man Gang fires back with a right hand of his own! Michael Hayes is losing it on the floor as Gordy and Gang hammer each other, until Brody and Hansen attack them from behind.
Now, Michael P.S. Hayes is on the apron trying to get Gang and Gordy on the same page. Bad News Allen wants to get a closer look so he jumps on the apron too and Hayes order him to stay away. Coage just snickers, and then decks Michael Hayes with a judo thrust! Gordy sees this and he grabs Bad News, leading Allen to drill Gordy with a judo thrust. Bad News Allen is in the ring now and he’s brawling with Gordy! Stan Hansen shoves Bad News away, so Coage decks him too! This is an absolute war here in the ring!
Ed Whalen: Fans, we’re out of time! This is just madness! We’ll bring you all of the fallout next week! In the meantime, and the in between time, this is Ed Whalen saying good night!
