Larry Matysik: Tonight’s show could accurately be described as an early Christmas present for fans. We’ll have Rick Martel and Tom Zenk in the ring with the Garvins once again. Plus, we’ll have big news about Owen Hart!

Rick Martel and Tom Zenk vs. ‘Gorgeous’ Jimmy and Ron Garvin
This feud has been brewing for Martel and the Garvins since the very first International Wrestling show, and tonight’s match is a brawl. However, Jimmy Garvin actually escapes the fracas and abandons his brother Ronnie mid-brawl. Ronnie Garvin challenges both opponents to bring it on, so Zenk steps out to the floor to allow Rick Martel to get his revenge. And he does get revenge. Rick Martel takes the fight to Ronnie Garvin and nearly knocks his block off with a dropkick. Martel then locks in the Quebec Crab and it’s not long before Garvin submits! After the match, Rick Martel gets on the microphone and says next he’s coming for Jimmy Garvin!
Winners: Rick Martel and Tom Zenk at 8.34

Rollerball Rocco vs. ‘The Punk Rocket’ Ian Fury
This is the first appearance in international wrestling of Rocco in International Wrestling, but he has a legendary reputation in the UK and in Japan. Larry Matysik and Joe Pedicino inform fans that he is a former British Light Heavyweight Champion and WWF Junior Heavyweight Champion. Fury is a promising young rookie and he shows fire, but Rocco is one step ahead of him the entire match. The Punk Rocket goes for a flying splash, but Rollerball catches him in with a back-breaker. Rocco then comes off the top rope with the Rollerball Splash (senton) and scores the win.
Winner: Rollerball Rocco

.
Milt Avruskin: I join ringside with this man Rollerball Rocco. Welcome to International Wrestling!
Rollerball Rocco: Thank you very much, Milt. You know, I’ve been all over the world. I’m a legend in Japan and I’ve been the American champion as well. I see a lot of myself in these young athletes like Owen Hart, Chris Benoit, Dan Kroffat and many of the others here in Canada.
Milt Avruskin: I’m sure you’d like to test your skills in the ring against this new generation.
Rollerball Rocco: Well, yes - I think that lot would definitely like to step in the ring with Rollerball Rocco. Owen Hart, you put that title of yours on the line, I’ll sign on the dotted line and step in the ring with you. That’s my promise to you!
Milt Avruskin: A very confident Rollerball Rocco! We’ll be right back.

Milt Avruskin: I’m standing by here with Michael Hayes and International Heavyweight Champion Terry Gordy. Now Terry, you face Kamala tonight and then battle PWF and United National Champion Great Tenryu on Christmas Eve. Quite a week.
Michael Hayes: We know how it is around here! The powers that be don’t want this 280lbs of rompin’, stompin’ graveyard destruction running over the competition. They want a champion they can control. First they put him in the ring with this freak, this monster Kamala. And then he has to face Great Tenryu on Christmas Eve? Merry Christmas, I don’t think so! It’s a conspiracy, man!
Terry Gordy: Don’t you worry none, Michael. You put me in the ring with Kamala, I’ll knock ‘em down, brother! You put in the ring with Tenryu, I’ll knock ‘em down, man! It don’t matter who you put me in the ring with. I’ll knock ‘em down. I walk into Christmas Eve with one belt, and I’ll leave holding three. That’s a fact, man!
Michael Hayes: Every time you stack the deck against the Freebirds, we just bulldoze the damn deck!
Milt Avruskin: Two very fired-up Freebirds! Let’s go back to the ring.

International Tag Team Title Match
Samoan SWAT Team w/ Madusa vs. Johnny Ace and Dan Kroffat
Last week, we saw Madusa’s dangerous new tag team completely destroy Armand Rougeau. Joe Pedicino informs viewers that it’s unlikely that Armand will ever return to the ring. Tonight, Samu and Fatu face two very promising young wrestlers in Dan Kroffat and Johnny Ace. The Samoans make quick tags to viciously work over Dan Kroffat, before he manages to dodge a side kick, roll into his corner and tag in Johnny Ace. Before Ace is even fully into the ring, Jacques and Raymond Rougeau hit the ring and they’re brawling with the SST. Referee Teddy Long calls for the bell as the Rougeaus and the Samoans brawl all over the ringside area. The locker-room clears to help separate these four men, until Madusa drags her Samoans away by the hair. The Fabulous Rougeaus are fired up in the ring.
Winners: International Tag Team Champions Samoan SWAT Team by disqualification

PWF and United National Heavyweight Title Match
Great Tenryu vs. Adrian Adonis
'Rock and Roll Part 2' is playing in the coliseum as a face we haven't seen in months returns to the wrestling scene...
IT'S THE GOLDEN BOY ADRIAN ADONIS!
Adrian Adonis makes his way down to the ring in the leather jacket and all black once again - and he’s looking slimmer than the last time fans saw him in Central States several months ago. Larry Matysik spoke to Adonis backstage and Adrian says that he’s rededicated himself to getting back in shape to finally reach the top of the mountain.
The aloof Tenru never loses his cool as Adonis actually stays a step ahead of him early on. Adonis can still bump like a junior heavyweight and is looking more noticeably agile than in recent years. Adonis manages to lock in the Goodnight Irene and it looks like we might be on the verge of a title change, until Tenru shifts his weight, scoops him and drops Adonis backward with his trademark back suplex. Tenryu with the cover and he gets the one...two… Adonis kicks out but it’s a millisecond too late. Tenryu gets his hand raised after a grueling challenge from Adrian Adonis! Great Tenryu is definitely ready for Terry Gordy next Saturday night in Quebec City!
Winner: PWF and United National Heavyweight Champion Great Tenryu

Larry Matysik: It’s my pleasure to be welcomed by the new IW President Lout Thesz and the Canadian Champion Owen Hart! Mr. Thesz, it’s an honour, sir!
Lou Thesz: It’s always nice to see you Larry and I’m honoured to now be a part of International Wrestling. Of course, many fans will remember that I was the very first International Heavyweight Champion in Japan.
Larry Matysik: I know you’re here tonight with a major announcement about this man to my left, Owen Hart.
Lou Thesz: That’s right. Owen, firstly on congratulations on winning your championship belt. I have an announcement about that same belt. Seeing as we now have broadcasting and talent agreements with All-Japan, Joint Promotions in the UK and Catch Wrestling in Germany and Austria, we feel you’re now representative of more than just Canada. While we are retiring the Canadian Championship, we’re happy to present you with this newly-christened International TV Championship! I’d like to wish you the best of luck in defending that belt.
Owen Hart: First of all, it’s a pleasure to be in the presence of a legend like Lou Thesz. It’s an honour to be recognised internationally and I’ll put this title on the line against all-comers. I heard Rollerball Rocco earlier - he certainly has lots of self-confidence. I’m willing to face him or anyone at any time, Mr. Thesz.
Lou Thesz: Now, I’d also like announce the full card for next Saturday night in Quebec City.
Larry Matysik: That’s right fans, Stan Hansen and Bruiser Brody are on their way to International Wrestling! Let’s take a look at the most feared tag team in professional wrestling history:
TV Main Event: International Heavyweight Title
Terry Gordy with Michael Hayes vs. Kamala with Friday
Friday leads his monstrous Ugandan Giant down to the ring, and now ‘The Boys Are Back In Town’ begins echoing through the coliseum. International Champion Terry Gordy charges into the ring, where he’s immediately met by vicious chops from an unhinged Kamala. Gordy fights Kamala off and then takes him off his feet with a clothesline! Gordy hits the ropes - big leg drop across the chest! Terry is fired up as stomps the hell out of the Ugandan Giant.
Friday climbs up on the apron, but there’s Michael Hayes to deck him with a right hand! Gordy now shoots Kamala off the ropes and drills the Ugandan Giant with a boot to the forehead. Gordy is signaling for the end here - this match barely has got started and Gordy says it’s over. Terry actually scoops Kamala up, takes a running start and drives him into the canvas with the Bamm Bamm Slam! Gordy with the cover here and referee Teddy Long counts the emphatic one… two… three! Terry Gordy just utterly destroyed Kamala to retain his title.
Winner: International Heavyweight Champion Terry Gordy
Following the match, PWF and United National Heavyweight Champion Great Tenryu makes his way down the aisle to size up Terry Gordy. A fired up Gordy challenges Tenru to enter the ring, but the Japanese champion is cool, calm and collected as he points to the International Heavyweight Title that Gordy has just flung over his shoulder. These two will collide in Quebec City!
Joe Pedicino: Fans, we’re out of time. Next week we’ll be showing the best of the new International Wrestling for our new friends tuning overseas. Fans in Canada, be with us in Quebec City. Don’t miss it - be there. Happy holidays!
