Vince McMahon and Jesse Ventura open the show.
McMahon, “Jesse, things are heating up this winter. The Ultimate Warrior meets the Honky Tonk Man today!”
Ventura, “The Ultimate Maniac just may be an ex-champion after Honky gets done with him.”
McMahon, “We will also hear from, the WWF Champion, the ‘Million Dollar Man’.”
Ventura, “The ‘Million Dollar Man’ is great, but he has Roddy Piper, AND the ‘Macho Man’ after him. It won’t be easy to hold onto that title.”
McMahon, “Let’s get things started with Howard Finkel.”
Match #1
Jake “The Snake” Roberts vs. Joe Mirto
Jake is still a very dangerous wrestler. He goes after Mirto. Joe doesn’t know what hit him. He has no chance. Roberts wins with the DDT and covers Mirto with Damien.
Winner-Jake Roberts
Match #2
Earthquake w/Jimmy Hart vs. Dusty Wolfe
The massive Earthquake gets better each time out. Wolfe is game, but he gives up a lot of weight. Hart shouts through his megaphone, and the Earthquake goes to work. He batters Dusty. The big Canadian hits the Earthquake for the win.
Winner-Earthquake
“Mean” Gene Okerlund is with the “Million Dollar Man” and Virgil.
Okerlund, “With me is the WWF Champion, and his bodyguard. Mr.. DiBiase, Randy Savage pinned you at ‘Survivor Series’.”
DiBiase, “Immaterial! This title is with me, and it will stay with me. Let Savage celebrate nothing!”
Okerlund, “Roddy Piper also looms on the horizon.”
DiBiase, “Another hopeless cause! That skirt wearing fool has been hit in the head too many times. He can’t beat the ‘Million Dollar Man’, no one can! HAHAHAHA!”
Okerlund, “The Champion is always confident.”
Match #3
Non-Title Match
Ted DiBiase (WWF Champion) w/Virgil vs. S.D. Jones
The veteran Jones will be a good test for the Champion. SD is a house afire, and DiBiase is frustrated. He takes to the floor and confers with Virgil. He returns. DiBiase has been around, and he knows how to control the action. He works over Jones, and the momentum has changed. The Champion clamps on the million dollar dream and Jones is out.
Winner-Ted DiBiase
Match #4
The Young Stallions vs. Terry Gibbs and the Red Demon
The popular team of Powers and Roma get better every time out. The veteran Gibbs starts for his team, Roma for the Stallions. Gibbs is skilled, and sneaky. He keeps Roma off balance. Powers tags in, and picks up the pace. The Demon enters for his team. Powers uses a sunset flip to take the fall.
Winners-The Young Stallions
Match #5
Bad News Brown vs. George Welles
This should be a good one. The ex-CFL star vs. the street tough from Harlem. Brown takes the fight to Welles, and the former football star retaliates in kind. We have a slugfest. The Columbus crowd is behind George, and he looks good, but it doesn’t last long. Brown overpowers Welles and wins with the ghetto blaster.
Winner-Bad News Brown
Gene Okerlund is with the Honky Tonk Man, and Colonel Jimmy Hart.
Okerlund, “With me are, ‘Colonel’ Jimmy Hart, and that Elvis impersonator, the Honky Tonk Man.”
Hart, “Watch it Chrome Dome! Honky is going to shake, rattle, and roll all over you!”
Okerlund, “Alright, alright, Jimmy Hart, your man has a chance to win the Intercontinental Title today. He faces the Ultimate Warrior.”
Hart, “The Ultimate Warrior, a muscle bound punk, that can’t carry the Honky Tonk Man’s boots, tell them Honkey!”
HTM, “”Listen Warrior, you expect me not be cruel, but I’m sending you home, to the ghetto! I can sing better than you, dance better than you, and of course, wrestle better than you!”
Okerlund, “The Intercontinental Title match is next.”
Match #6
Intercontinental Championship
The Ultimate Warrior (Champion) vs. The Honky Tonk Man w/”Colonel” Jimmy Hart
Honky is shaking his hip as the Warrior hits the ring. Hart hightails it out of the ring, and we are underway. The early moments are all Warrior. He whips Honky into the ropes and drops him with a clothesline. HTM goes down, and Warrior covers him. Honky kicks out. Hart distracts the Warrior, and this gives Honky a chance to land a cheap shot. HTM has control for a few minutes, but the Warrior is too much. He slams Honky, and uses the splash for the win.
Winner-The Ultimate Warrior
Vince McMahon and Jesse Ventura close the show.
Ventura, “The Ultimate Warrior wins again.”
Ventura, “McMahon, I’ll admit the Ultimate Maniac is good, but he ain’t ‘Perfect’.”
McMahon, “O.K. Jesse. Next week we have another great feature match. Demolition defends the WWF Tag Team Titles against the Young Stallions, and we will talk with Hulk Hogan!”
Ventura, “Oh joy, the Hulkster.”
McMahon, “We just may make you interview him Jesse. Don’t miss this one!”
