RONNIE GARVIN V/S JACQUES ROUGEAU
… Jimmy Garvin and Precious are holding court outside the ring, after their vicious attack on Ricky Martel earlier in the evening. Martel whips Gorgeous J around and drills him with rights and lefts. Rick Martel is battering Jimmy Garvin back up the aisle as Precious screams for Ronnie to help. A distracted Ronnie looks out to the aisle and starts to make a move, only to be hooked from behind by Jacques Rougeau. Jacques plants Garvin into the canvas with a belly-to-back suplex! TERRY ‘BAMM BAMM’ GORDY V/S DINO BRAVO
…. Gordy has Bravo in trouble in the corner here. Bamm Bamm takes off with a head of steam for a big clothesline into the corner - only for Bravo to move away at the last second. Terry Gordy collides into the corner and knocks the wind out of himself. Dino scoops him up and slams the big man to the canvas. Bravo hits the ropes with a big elbow drop and then covers for a near fall.
Dino Bravo now pulls Gordy into an abdominal stretch, but the Freebirds hip-tosses his way out of it. Both men are slow to their feet here. Bravo hits the ropes for a big clothesline, but this time it’s Gordy’s turn to counter with a knee to the gut. Dino staggers as Gordy climbs to the second rope - and dives off with that controversial Asiatic Spike to the throat! Many feel that move should be illegal, and puts Bravo down instantly. Milt Avruskin: ‘The last several weeks, we’ve seen gang warfare break out here in International Wrestling. Last week at the Forum, 10 men stepped into the same ring as all three Longriders teamed with Fabulous Freebirds members Michael P.S. Hayes and Buddy Roberts against Lionhearts members Owen Hart and Chris Benoit, International Tag Team Champions Armand and Raymond Rougeau… and their partner, the promising rookie Ian Fury. Let’s take a look at the final moments of that bout.’

Milt Avruskin: ‘One of the night’s surprises occurred unexpectedly during a match that was supposed to be Eddie Creatchman’s duo of Kamala and the One Man Gang up against Bobby and Rudy Kay. However, the Kays had to accompany their brother Leo Burke to be checked out by medics for a possible concussion. It looked there would be a forfeit, until two other men showed up…’

JACQUES ROUGEAU V/S TERRY GORDY
… Terry Gordy overpowers Jacques Rougeau right away, but Rougeau fights his way back onto his feet and it looks like he's getting back to his knees, but not for long. Terry Gordy proceeds to kick Jacques in the stomach and then knock him back down with a big overhand strike to the chest. Terry Gordy then starts to choke Rougeau on the mat, but Paul LeDuc demands that he break the hold or face disqualification.

Rougeau connects with a few more closed fists, but Paul LeDuc is ordering him to stop. Rougeau complies as Terry Gordy backs into the turnbuckle. Rougeau climbs onto the second rope and proceeds to deck the big man with a series of closed right hands to the forehead, but he is shoved off by Bamm Bamm.
Michael Hayes gets on the apron and the referee orders him down, while Terry Gordy nails Rougeau from behind with a big knee. Jacques falls to the canvas once again. However, he’s able to roll away when Gordy hits the ropes with a big elbow drop off the ropes. However, Jacques Rougeau is still down as Terry Gordy tries to regain his wits.

Terry Gordy then goes for the cover and Paul LeDuc makes the count for the one… two… no! Rougeau kicks out!
Gordy is trying to find off Rougeau here, and he drops him with a shoulder-breaker for another very near fall. Bamm Bamm goes up to the second rope, and now he connects with a knee drop across the shoulder. Another cover from Gordy, and once again the fiery Rougeau kicks out! Michael Hayes is banging the canvas trying to rally his big brother as Gordy perches once again on the second rope. As Rougeau stumbles back to his feet, Gordy leaps off with a double sledge. No! Rougeau leaps up and dropkicks Gordy while he’s in mid-air! Hayes is apoplectic as Rougeau now makes the cover, hooks both legs and gets the one… two… NO! Gordy is out!
What a match, fans! These two have clobbered the hell out of each other all in hopes of becoming the International Heavyweight Champion. Both wrestlers are slow to their feet and now Rougeau rallies with some forearm shots to the chest. Rougeau gains a head of steam, and he goes aerial with a cross-body block! No, Gordy puts on the breaks and power-slams Jacques with a sickening thud. Terry makes the cover once again, and he gets the one… two… thre-NO! Again, Jacques Rougeau kicks out at the last possible second.
Another stumble to their feet, as Gordy pulls Rougeau in for a belly-to-belly suplex. However, Rougeau puts on the breaks with a knee to the gut. Terry Gordy is the International Heavyweight Champion after a grueling tournament final. Michael Hayes and Buddy Roberts are in the ring celebrating as referee Paul LeDuc hands Gordy the International Heavyweight Title on the floor.
