Jim Powers vs. Brian Knobbs w/Jimmy Hart
The popular Powers starts quickly. Knobbs is in retreat. He leaves the ring, and confers with Hart. The match continues. Knobbs uses his size to take over. He hits a power slam for the win.

Paul Roma vs. Jerry Sags w/Jimmy Hart
The other two Tag partners meet in this one. The match back and forth. Both men have their chances. In the end, Roma wins with a roll up.

Jimmy Snuka vs. Nikolai Volkoff w/Slick
Volkoff gets things started with his version of the Soviet National Anthem. The bell rings and two tough veterans go at it. Snuka has the big Russian on the run, and Slick is worried. Jimmy tries the Superfly leap, but Volkoff rolls out of the way. Snuka crashes to the mat. Volkoff takes over, and wins with the Russian backbreaker.

Brutus Beefcake vs. Honky Tonk Man w/Jimmy Hart
Two flamboyant Superstars meet in this one. There is little wrestling, and a lot of brawling. Beefcake traps HTM in the corner and pounds away. Honky fights his way out. He whips Beefcake into the ropes, and goes for a backdrop. Brutus sees it coming, and drives a kick to HTM’s head. This turns the momentum, and Beefcake slaps on the sleeper. Honky is out. Brutus goes for the scissors, but Hart is able to pull his man out of the ring.

Intercontinental Championship
The Ultimate Warrior (Champion) vs. Bam Bam Bigelow w/Slick
The “Beast from the East” challenges the Champion. This will be a battle of size and strength. Bigelow starts fast. He works over the Champion, and the title is in jeopardy. Bigelow tries to scoop up Warrior, but he blocks it. Warrior gets Bigelow up, and slams him! He goes for the cover, but Bam Bam kicks out. The two big men continue to battle it out. Warrior goes for a cover, but Bigelow kicks out right before referee Dick Kroll’s hand hits the mat for a third time. Slick climbs up on the apron. Warrior shoots Bam Bam into him, and Slick falls to the floor. Bigelow stumbles off the ropes, and Warrior catches him in a roll up. Kroll counts three! The Ultimate Warrior retains the title!

Six Man Tag Team Match
Ted DiBiase, Virgil, and Andre the Giant w/Bobby “The Brain” Heenan vs. Hulk Hogan, Randy “Macho Man” Savage w/Miss Elizabeth, and Roddy Piper
Earl Hebner is the unluckiest man in the Empire State. He has to referee this one. Savage begins the action with Virgil. Randy’s hatred for DiBiase is carried out against the bodyguard. Savage punishes Virgil. He slams the bodyguard, and puts the boots to Virgil. The “Million Dollar Man” jumps him from behind. This brings all six men into the ring. Somehow, Hebner gets things sorted out, and now it’s Hogan and Andre. This is what the crowd wants to see. The two legends are nose to nose. Then they begin to slug it out. Things are going Hogan’s way much to the chagrin of the “Brain”. However, Andre fires back, and now he has the edge. He tags in DiBiase, and the WWF Champion attacks the former champion. Ted has Hogan at a disadvantage. He goes for the million dollar dream, but Hogan blocks it. Now Hogan “hulks up”. The crowd is at a fever pitch. DiBiase lands a boot that is very low. Now Higan is trapped in the wrong corner. The evil doers tag in and out hogan is in deep trouble he draws on the cheers of the crowd, and fights his way out of the corner, and tags in Roddy Piper! The “Rowdy Scot” cleans house. Heenan is livid at ringside, extortion g his troops. Again, all six men end up in the ring. Hogan and Andre battle it, DiBiase and Piper do the same. In the confusion, Savage goes to the top rope, and jumps on DiBiase, but the Champion moves, and Savage crashes into Piper. DiBiase covers him, and Hebner counts three! Piper struggles to his feet. He confronts Savage. They shove one another until Hogan gets between them.

Intermission
Howard Finkel announces that the next Madison Square Garden card will be Monday night, December 19. The main event will feature a WWF Title match. Ted DiBiase will defend the Title against…”Rowdy” Roddy Piper.

WWF Tag Team Championship
Demolition (Champions) w/Mr.Fuji vs. The Rockers
The popular Rockers could well pull the upset tonight. Michaels starts agains Ax. The bigger Ax gets the early edge. He uses his size to punish the smaller Rocker. Ax slams Michaels, and goes for a cover. Referee Joey Marella counts two, but Shawn kicks out. Michaels gets a s cond wind, and he goes to work. Using his speed, he takes control. He covers Ax, but Smash breaks up the count. We almost saw a title change. Jannetty and Smash tag in, and go at it. Smash works over Jannetty, but Marty fights back. Unfortunately, he is trapped in the wrong corner. Jannetty puts up a good fight, but Demolition is too much. They use Demolition decapitation for the win.

Mr. Perfect w/Bobby “The Brain” Heenan vs. Jake “The Snake” Roberts
Perfect and Heenan want no part of Jake’s ominous green bag. Referee Dick Kroll calls for the bell and we are underway. Both of these men are fine wrestlers, and they show it. Jake is quick, and he takes Perfect down. He escapes and now Roberts is at a disadvantage. Perfect gets a two count, but Jake kicks out, and goes for the DDT. Perfect blocks it, and goes for a perfect plex. Roberts blocks it. He backdrops Perfect, and goes for the bag. Perfect takes to the floor, and Kroll warns Roberts not to open the bag. Cooler heads prevail, and we are back to wrestling. Both men end up brawling on the floor. Kroll’s count reaches ten, both men are counted out.
