Bill Mercer and Rod Trongard open the show.
Trongard, “Coast to coast, continent to continent, border to border, the USWA is on the air!”
Mercer, “What a show we have for you tonight. In our main event, Bill Dundee defends the Texas Title against Eric Embry…”
Frenchy Martin comes out.
Martin, “No, no, no! Eric Embry will not wrestle tonight! I am replacing him with Rick Martel!”
Mercer, “I don’t think you can do that.”
Verne Gagne comes out.
Gagne, “That’s right. You can’t make matches, Ed Watt, and the Championship Committee, are the only ones who can do that. The match will go on as planned.”
Martin, and Gagne argue as we go to commercial.
Match #1
Bob Bradley vs. Shaun Simpson
“The Cat” returns to the area. He meets the younger Simpson. The match is very fast paced. Simpson uses a roll up, but Bradley kicks out at two. They go back and forth u till Bradley hits a flying body press for the win.

Match #2
Steve Cox vs. Bob Marcus
Cox debuted last week. He looks like an impressive youngster. Marcus tries to rough up the rookie, but Cox is ready for it. He takes over, and finishes things with a powerslam.

Baron Von Raschke vs. Frankie Lancaster
The popular Baron meets the “Thumper”. Lancaster is very aggressive. He uses rights and lefts to put the Baron in retreat. Von Raschke has had enough. The Minnesota crowd gets behind him, and he rallies. He clamps on the claw, and it’s over.
Winner-Baron Von Raschke
Marc Lowrance is with Bill Dundee.
Lowrance, “With me is, the Texas Champion, Bill Dundee. Bill, you are scheduled to meet Eric Embry, but Frenchy Martin seems to be against that.”
Dundee, “Look, Martel is great, but Embry is one of the best young wrestlers in the sport. Both of them deserve a shot, I’ll wrestle anyone, but Martin must have something up his sleeve.”
Lowrance, “It seems he may see Embry as inferior to Martel.”
Dundee, “Then he’s a fool. Embry is great.”
Lowrance, “That’s our main event, Dundee vs. Embry.”

Non-Title Match
The Fantastics (World Tag Team Champions) vs. Los Diablos
The World Tag Team Champions have, both the Freebirds, and the Rougeaus on the trail. They can’t look past the masked Mexican team. Diablo II starts with Tommy Rogers. Rogers takes to the air, and the masked man is in trouble. He tags in I, and he goes to the roughhouse tactics. Fulton tags in and takes over. The Fantastic flip ends things for the Champs.

Steve Simpson vs. Gary Young
Steve is one of the “Young Lions” of wrestling. The veteran Young is always a good test. Young traps Simpson in the corner and starts to work him over. Steve fights his way out, and we have a knock down, drag out, fight. It goes back and forth until Simpson uses a sunset flip for the pin.
Winner-Steve Simpson
Marc Lowrance is with Terry Gordy.
Lowrance, “With me is Terry Gordy without his backup.”
Gordy, “Watch it Lowrance! I don’t need back up!”
Lowrance, “Alright, you have come very close to taking the World Title. We have ‘Thanksgiving Star Wars’ coming up, many think you and Kerry Von Erich, should meet in the main event.”
Gordy, “I want Von Erich tonight, I want him next week, I want him on Thanksgiving! My name is on a contract, let’s see if he’s got enough guts to get back in the ring with me! Von Erich, be a man, sign the contract!”
Lowrance, “I don’t think the Champion will turn his back on a fight.”
Match #6
Terry Gordy vs. Mr. Olympia
Gordy takes on the talented masked man. Olympia starts fast. He takes Gordy down, and mat wrestles. He gets a cover, but referee David Manning only counts two. Olympia tries to shoot Gordy into the ropes, but Terry reverses it. The masked man crashes into the turnbuckles. Now Gordy is in control.he works over Olympia. The masked man makes a brief comeback, but Gordy is too much. He uses a piledriver for the win.

Texas Championship
Bill Dundee (Champion) vs. Eric Embry w/Frenchy Martin
The body language between Embry and Martin does not seem positive. Embry has to be at the top of his game to take the title. Marty Miller is your referee. The bell rings and we are underway. These men are not the biggest in the sport, but they may well be the toughest. The early moments of the match go back and forth. Dundee rolls up Embry, but Eric kicks out. Embry gets a two count using the ropes for leverage. Embry thinks he has the edge, so he picks up the aggressiveness. He lands lefts, and rights. Dundee will not back down from a fight. He fires back and we have a slugfest. Embry moves around behind Dundee. He slaps on a sleephold! Dundee fights it. As he does he whacks Miller in the head, and the referee goes down. Martin grabs a chair, and climbs up on the apron. He yells for Embry to bring Dundee to him. He swings the chair. Dundee escapes, and Martin clocks Embry. Eric goes down. Miller has made it to his feet. Dundee covers Embry, and Miller counts the fall! Martin is livid! He knows he made a mistake, or did he?
Winner-Bill Dundee
Bill Mercer and Rod Trongard close the show.
Trongard, “Bill, Frenchy Martin made a huge mistake.”
Mercer, “I don’t know Rod, I’m not sure that was an accident.”
Trongard, “That may be right, Bill, i’m not sure. I know we will talk about it next week, join us then.”
