Trongard, “Coast to coast, continent to continent, border to border, ‘USWA Championship Wrestling is on the air. Bill, we are just a few days away from the State Fair of Texas.”
Mercer, “The action at the Cotton Bowl is going to be fantastic. We will talk about the big card tonight, and our main event will impact what happens in Dallas. Iceman King Parsons will challenge Rick Martel for the Texas Title. Tonight, he meets Frenchy Martin’s new wrestler, American turncoat, Eric Embry. What a match we will see.”
Trongard, “Our opening match features Tim Horner. Tim is one of the finest light heavyweight in the world. At the Cotton Bowl, he will challenge Phil LaFleur for the Light Heavyweight Championship. Let’s see him in action.
Match #1
Tim Horner vs. Sonny Rogers
Horner is known as “White Lightening”, and is one of the best light heavyweights in the world. The veteran Rogers will be a good test. Sonny starts fast. He matches Horner move for move. Tim is patient. He comes back and wins with a sunset flip.

Dino Bravo w/Frenchy Martin vs. Bob Marcus
Martin leads Eric Embry into our main event tonight, but now he has the powerful Bravo in the ring. Bravo is a powerhouse. He tosses Marcus around like a rag doll. He uses a side suplex for the win.

Marc Lowrance is with Jerry Blackwell.
Lowrance, “With me is, the ‘Mountain from Stone Mountain’, Jerry Blackwell. Mr. Blackwell, you meet Mr. Saito at the Cotton Bowl. The chance to win the American Heavyweight Title is a great opportunity.”
Blackwell, “I’ve been around a long time, I’ve won titles, but never a World Title. This isn’t a World Title, but it’s just a notch below. If I can win the title, it will cap off my career. I know how good Saito is, but the big, old country boy from Georgia, has wrestled them all. I’m not afraid of Saito, I know I can beat him, and that’s what I’m fixing to do.”
Lowrance, “Jerry Blackwell is focused and ready for Mr. Saito.”

Jerry Blackwell vs. El Diablo
The massive Blackwell meets the masked veteran from Mexico.diablo looks good early. He uses his speed to hit and run. Blackwell fights him off, and uses his size to take over. He slams Diablo and hits a big splash for the win.

The Rougeau Brothers w/Frenchy Martin vs. Manuel Villalobos and Mike Reed
The talented brothers from Montreal have been very impressive. They are part of Frenchy Martin’s organization, and they have beaten everyone in their path. Villalobos starts against Jacques. Manny is game, but Rougeau takes over. He punishes Villalobos. Raymond tags in, and continues the attack. Reed tags in, but he’s not able to make any headway. The Rougeau bomb ends things.

Marc Lowrance is with Bill Dundee.
Lowrance, “With me is the ‘Superstar’ from Australia. Mr. Dundee, you remain undefeated in the USWA. People are talking about you as a contender for several titles.”
Dundee, “Marc, I came here to face the best. This is where the action is. I’ve had tough matches here, but I want even tougher ones. I want the Texas Title. Rick Martel has it, but he has to wrestle Iceman Parsons at the Cotton Bowl. I think Parsons can win, but I don’t care. I want the winner!”
Lowrance, “Bill Dundee is a wrestling legend, nd a match between him, and Maret, or Iceman, would be fantastic.”

Bill Dundee vs. Pete Sanchez
Dundee has been on a winning streak, and the veteran Sanchez is out to stop him. Pete jumps Dundee before the bell. He pounds away at the Superstar”, and Dundee is in trouble. Bil starts to rally. He throws rights and lefts, and now Sanchez is in retreat. Dundee hits the piledriver for the win.

Non-Title Match
Mr. Saito (American Heavyweight Champion) w/Sheik Adnan el Kaissey vs. Brian Adias
Saito has been an unstoppable force since winning the title. Brian Adias is a skilled wrestler, but he has his hands full. Adias looks good early. He tries to shoot the Champion into the corner, but Saito reverses it. Adias crashes into the turnbuckles. Saito now goes on the attack. He chops away, and Adias is in trouble. Brian puts up a good fight, but Saito hits a German suplex and Marty Miller counts the fall.
Winner-Mr. Saito
Marc Lowrance is with Frenchy Martin and Eric Embry.
Lowrance, “With me are Frenchy Martin, and Eric Embry. I’ll start with you Mr. Martin. Your man, Rick Martel, is the Texas Champion. At the Cotton Bowl, he faces Iceman King Parsons. Tonight, you send Eric Embry against Parsons. Are you sending Embry out to injure the Iceman?”
Martin, “Eric Embry is a great wrestler. That’s why I agreed to manage an American. He is going to beat This Iceman tonight, if he hurts him, he hurts him.”
Embry, “I want to correct Frenchy. He’s not my manager, he’s my advisor, but that’s O.K. I’m going out to beat Iceman. I’m the best wrestler in the business, and I’m going to prove it! Tonight I beat Parsons, then I move on to someone else, and then another until I am a Champion!”
Lowrance, “It doesn't matter why this match is happening, it will be great.”
Match #7
Eric Embry w/Frenchy Martin vs. Iceman King Parsons
The popular Iceman is a former Texas Champion. He would love to regain it. Embry has gone back and forth between hero, and villain, but he seems to have turned his back on America. That has really angered the fans. The match starts fast. Parsons goes right after the Phoenix native. Parsons dropkicks Eric out of the ring. Martin checks on him, and sends him back into the ring. Embry lands a boot that is very low. This gives him the edge. Eric hammers away at Parsons. Embry goes for a piledriver. Iceman blocks it, and slaps on the sleephold. Embry is in trouble. Suddenly, Rick Martel hits the ring. He attacks Parsons from behind. This frees Embry, and they go to work on the Iceman. They stomp away. Martel drops Parsons’ leg across the bottom rope. Embry climbs the turnbuckles and drops on Iceman’s leg. He screams in pain. Other wrestlers reach the ring, and Martin, Martel, and Embry leave the area. Parsons is injured.
Winner-Iceman King Parsons (Disqualification)
Bill Mercer and Rod Trongard close the show.
Trongard, “Things look bad for Iceman King Parsons, that leg injury looks serious.”
Mercer, “What does this do to the Texas Title match at the Cotton Bowl? Frenchy Martin, and Rick Martel may ave cleared their path.”
Trongard, “Next week will be our last show until the Cotton Bowl, I know we will have more information about Iceman’s injury.”
