It was another action packed night of wrestling last Friday at the Blaisdale Center that was capped off with an exciting bout for the Pacific Heavyweight Championship. Champion Nick Bockwinkle met popular challenger Don Muraco in a one fall contest. Muraco looked impressive and poised to take the title, but ther veteran champion once again left with his title belt. Muraco lifted Bockwinkle up and brought him down with a belly to back suplex and bridged into a pinning position. Both men's shoulder's were down, but Bockwinkle got his shoulder up before the three count, and referee Lars Anderson awarded the bout to the champion. Referee Mark Curtis then got with Anderson and explained that Muraco had gotten his shoulder up as well. After a lengthy discussion, the match was ruled a No Contest at 22:00.
