Promoter Don Owen announces that Rocky Mountain Wrestling will be expanding westward, into New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, California, Oregon and Washington. The promotion will continue to promote in the Mountain States of Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, Montana and Idaho as well, but with the expansion, Mr. Owen has changed the name of the promotion to Western States Wrestling.
The only thing that will change is the name, Buzz Sawyer and Matt Borne are still the Tag Team Champions, and fans can still expect the same great wrestling action, but it will now be available to fans in a much larger area.
The television show will be changing it's name to "Wild West Wrestling" and will still air on Friday nights.
