Trongard, “Coast to coast, continent to continent, border to border, the USWA is on the air!”
Mercer, “The action in the USWA gets hotter and hotter. The State Fair of Texas is coming up, We will talk about the big show. Now, let’s talk about tonight. We have a strange main event, the Simpson brothers, and Brian Adias, take on the Rougeau brothers, and Eric Embry. What is Embry doing with the Canadians? We will talk to Frenchy Martin, and Embry later in the program. First, here’s Marc Lowrance.”
Match #1
Sgt Slaughter vs. The Destroyer
We hear,
And Sgt Slaughter comes to the ring. He meets the mysterious masked man. Destroyer starts fast. He punches, and kicks and Slaughter is in some trouble. Slaughter has had enough. He rallies, and goes right after the Destroyer. He hits the Slaughter cannon, and follows that up with the cobra clutch.

Baron Von Raschke vs. Mike Reed
The popular Baron goose steps across the ring and shows the claw! This long-time villain has become a crowd favorite. He goes right after Reed. He may be a crowd favorite, but his style hasn’t changed. He roughs up Reed, and finishes things with the claw.

Marc Lowrance is seated at the announce table.
Lowrance, “Fans, October 16, and the State Fair are fast approaching. The action at the Cotton Bowl will be exciting. We have several matches that already have been announced. Here is what we know.
The Rougeau Brothers meet the Simpson Brothers
Rick Martel defends the Texas Title against Iceman King Parsons
The Fantastics put the World Tag Team Titles on the line against, the team they beat, the Fabulous Freebirds
We can add two more matches.
Based on Jerry Blackwell’s challenge last week, Masa Saito will defend the American Heavyweight Title against the ‘Mountain from Stone Mountain’.
Bob Orton defends the World Wrestling Association Title against, a former Champion, Baron Von Raschke
Those matches will.be exciting enough, the World Title will be on the line. Kerry Von Erich defends against, the man who pinned him in Indianapolis, Terry Gordy. Let’s hear from the World Champion.”
We see Kerry Von Erich standing beside the Sportatorium ring.
Kerry, “Terry Gordy! You beat me fair and square. You earned this title shot. You are a great wrestler, but you aren’t going to take this title from me, especially in Dallas! The fans in the Cotton Bowl will be behind me, and with them, I’m not going to lose!”
Lowrance, “Kerry Von Erich seems ready, but this will be a stiff test for the World Champion.”
Match #3
Gary Young vs. Bob Marcus
Young may be the most improved wrestler in the business. He goes right after Marcus. He slams Bob’s head into the turnbuckles. Marcus is in trouble. Young is too much for him, and wins with a shoulder breaker.

Mr. Olympia vs. Pete Sanchez
The masked man continues to rack up victories. His relationship with Gary Young is still confusing. Olympia goes right after Sanchez. Pete is a rugged veteran, and he dishes out punishment. Olympia fights off Sanchez, and wraps him in the figure four. Sanchez submits. Olympia grabs the mic from Marc Lowrance
Olympia, “Young! I’ve had it, I want you in the ring, at the Cotton Bowl!”
Gary Young walks out. He takes the mic.
Young, “Olympia, if that’s what you want to.be called, you don’t really think you can beat me, but now you’ve shot off your mouth. I’ll be at the Cotton Bowl, and the wrestling world is going to get a big surprise!”
Winner-Mr. Olympia
Marc Lowrance is with the Fabulous Freebirds.
Lowrance, “With me are the ‘former’ World Tag Team Champions.”
Hayes, “Watch it Lowrance!”
Lowrance, “Alright, you have a rematch with the Fantastics, and Terry Gordy has a match with Kerry Von Erich for the World Title.”
Hayes, “Think about it Lowrance. Buddy and I regain the tag titles, and Bam Bam beats that fool, Von Erich, for the World Title. The USWA will have ‘Freebirds Fantasia’ is running all over the world!”
Lowrance, “The Freebirds are in action next.”

The Fabulous Freebirds vs. Sonny Rogers and Buck Zumhofe
Hayes and Roberts represent “Bad Street” tonight. Buddy starts with Zumhofe. Buck uses his speed to control the early action.Roberts is frustrated. He takes to the floor, and Hayes admonishes him. The action continues. Hayes uses the DDT on Rogers for the win.

Kevin Von Erich vs. Frankie Lancaster
Plays and Kevin Von Erich comes to the ring. Lancaster is a big, tough, guy, and Kevin has his hands full. Lancaster traps Kevin in the corner and begins to choke him. Kevin fights his way out of the corner. He whips Lancaster into the ropes and clamps on the iron claw. Lancaster fights it, but he is out. A popular victory for Kevin.
Winner-Kevin Von Erich
Marc Lowrance is with Frenchy Martin, the Rougeau brothers, and Eric Embry.
Lowrance, “With me are Frenchy Martin, the Rougeaus, and...Eric Embry? Eric, what’s going on?”
Embry, “Well, Frenchy has had a lot of success since coming here…”
Martin, “Eric is right. I am very successful. I don’t usually lower myself to manage Americans, but Eric is different. He is tough, he could be a Canadiens!”
Embry, “Let me correct Frenchy. He’s not my manager, he’s my ‘Advisor’. He’s a smart guys, and he can help me, but I don’t need a manager.”
Martin, “Isn’t doesn't what you call it. We can make each other a lot of money, and we will be on top of the wrestling world!”
Embry, “Frenchy’s right.”
Lowrance, “I’m not sure I fully understand this partnership, but it could be very successful.”

Six Man Tag Team Match
Eric Embry and the Rougeau Brothers w/Frenchy Martin vs. Brian Adias and the Simpson Brothers
The Sportatorium is the home of the six man tag team match. The situation with Embry and the Canadians is very strange. It’s Jacques Rougeau and Brian Adias to open the match. Both this man are veterans, and they go back forth with holds and counter holds. Both men get near falls, but can’t finish things. Steve Simpson tags in. The popular African is a house afire. Jacques is in full retreat, and tags in his older brother. Raymond is very aggressive, and he now has the momentum. Raymond backs Steve into the corner, but Simpson fights his way out. The crowd is on the edge of their seats. Steve tags in. The younger Simpson stays in control. Raymond tags in Embry. The American goes right after Simpson. The two fight it out toe to toe. Embry is too much, and finishes off Simpson with a piledriver. Martin, and the Rougeaus, congratulate Embry. A very strange scene.

Mercer, “Eric Embry with Canadian men? What’s going on?”
Trongard, “I don’t understand it either.”
