Wild Finish in the Muraco - Lewin Main Event Capped Off Exciting Night of Action

It was a wild night of wrestling action again this week at the Blaisdale Arena in Honolulu that was capped off by the main event bout of "The Rock" Don Muraco beating "Maniac" Mark Lewin by disqualification. The two men had quite the comptetive battle raging until Lewin got ahold of a wooden folding chair from the ringside area and hit Muraco with it, drawing the disqualification.
After the bout, Muraco let it be known that he is willing to fight Lewin in a "no holds barred" match with no disqualifications, and challenged him to that match for next Friday night at the Blaisdale Arena.
I followed up on his challenge by calling the Pacific Pro Wrestling offices, and they confirmed that Mark Lewin has accepted Muraco's challenge, and that will be the main even feature bout this Friday night.
In other action...
The Pacific Tag Team Champion duo of Haku & Tama successfully defended their championships with a victory over The Moondog and his partner Cactus Jack Manson. The champions have been on a roll since winning those titles a few months ago, but have several tough challengers lined up over the next couple of weeks.
Pacific Junior Heavyweight Champion Steve Regal was victorious in his first title defense on Friday night against Flyin' Fuji Yamada by pinfall after using a maneuver he called the gut buster. I interviewed Regal after the bout, and he was quite cocky, yet very confident that he will retain his newly won championship next week when former champion Denny Brown is signed for the rematch.
The dastardly duo of Ron and Chicky Starr notched another victory on Friday night, this time over The Tahitian Warrior and his partner Jimmy Backlund. The brother duo used their patented double face first suplex to secure the pinfall victory. The Starr's are undefeated since arriving here in the area last month, and are already requesting matches against the Pacific Tag Team Champions.
High Chief Onasahi with his manager Hiro Matsuda was quick to notch another dominant victory, this time over his mismatched foe, Rocky Kernodle. Onasahi locked in his dreaded Asian Spike hold and Kernodle submitted. He kept the hold applied though until Kernodle passed out. After the decision was rendered, he let go of the hold. Hiro Matsuda issued a challenge for Pacific Heavyweight Champion Nick Bockwinkle to defend his belt against the High Chief in the near future. During Matsuda's speech, Onasahi re-applied the hold to Kenodle until he started convulsing and bleeding from the mouth.
In a best 3 out of 5 falls, eight man tag team feature bout, the team that collectively calls themselves Malihini (Visitors), Zodiac,UFO, and the Galaxians, were victorius in 5 falls. Zodiac secured the first fall for his team when he pinned Johnny Ace. Galaxian Beta made it 2-0 by pinning The Atomic Kid. Hawaiian Champion, Siva Afi kept his team alive by pinning Galaxian Alpha to win the third fall, and then pinning Galaxian Beta to win the fourth fall. Zodiac registered the final decision of the match when he pinned Siva Afi after UFO used his tombstone piledriver on Afi illegally behind the referee's back.
David Sammartino pinned Kendo Nagasaki
Hiroshi Hase pinned Tiger Chung Lee
