Lowrance, “Hello everyone, and we are so happy to be in Indianapolis. What a show we have for you! We are going to things underway. Let’s talk about the ‘Bruiser Brawl’. It will be a single elimination tournament. Wrestlers wil advance by pinball, submission, disqualification, or count out. A draw, of any kind, will eliminate both men. Let’s get started with our quarter-final matches.
Match #1
“Bruiser Brawl” First Round Match
Kerry Von Erich vs. Dino Bravo w/Frenchy Martin
Martin and Bravo wait in the ring. We hear,
Kerry Von Erich comes down the aisle. Is he 100%? Can his neck hold up? We will see. The bell rings, and Bravo goes right for the neck. He chokes, and stomps away. The Canadian strongman is in control. Kerry begins to mount a comeback. The crowd gets behind him, and he wins with a discus punch. It looks like Kerry is ready.

“Bruiser Brawl” First Round Match
Mr. Olympia vs. Gary Young
There is something going on between these two. Young has interfered on Olympia’s behalf several times, but the masked man doesn't seem to know why. The bell rings and they go at it. Young is wrestling with so much confidence. He roughs up the masked man, and Olympia is in trouble. Young goes for a cover, but Olympia kicks. They go back and forth. Olympia mounts a comeback. Olympia rolls up Young. Gary grabs the tights and reverses it. Referee David Manning doesn’t see this and counts the fall.Gary Young wins. He says something to Olympia, who slaps Young. Gary walks away...laughing.

“Bruiser Brawl” First Round Match
Chris Adams vs. The Angel of Death w/Sheik Adnan el Kaissey
Wrestler vs. Brawler. The Angel jumps Adams before the bell. He hammers away at the Englishman. Sheik Adnan shouts encouragement from ringside. Adams rallies. He takes over and wins with a superkick. Chris Adams advances.

“Bruiser Brawl” First Round Match
Terry Gordy vs. Iceman King Parsons
Gordy comes to ring alone, but we know the other Freebirds are here tonight. The popular Iceman is a threat every time out. Parsons sets a fast pace, and the giant Gordy is on the defensive.. Parsons hits a dropkick that staggers “Bam Bam’. Parsons goes for a second, but Gordy blocks it, and Parsons hits the mat. This turns the tide. Gordy takes over, and wins with a piledriver.

World Light Heavyweight Championship
Phil LaFleur (Champion) w/Frenchy Martin vs. Greg Gagne
The veteran Gagne is looking for a chance to win gold. Greg takes LaFleur down and mat wrestles him. Gagne gets a two count, but LaFleur kicks out. Martin is nervous at ringside. They go back and both men have their chances. LaFleur takes Gagne down close to the ropes. He uses the, for leverage, and referee David Manning counts the fall. Gagne argues, but Manning will have none of it.

Jerry Blackwell vs. Kokina Maximus w/Sheik Adnan el Kaissey
Two behemoths meet here. Sheik Adnan has been trying to run Blackwell out of the USWA, but it hasn’t happened yet. Both big men stand nose to nose. Kokina throws the first punch, and Blackwell responds in kind. The match is vicious, and hard hitting. Kokina slams Blackwell, and climbs to the second rope. He goes for the banzai drop, but Blackwell rolls out of the way. Jerry bounces off the ropes and hits a big splash. He covers Kokina, and referee Marty Miller counts the fall.

Marc Lowrance is in the ring with Dick the Bruiser. There is a buzz in the crowd.
Lowrance, “What a night of action! And there is much more to come. With me is Divk the Bruiser. Bruiser, this tournament is right down your aisle, eight tough guys fighting it out.”
Bruiser, “That’s right, I like tough guys, and it’s going to take a tough guy to win this. My money’s on Von Erich. That kid proved to me how tough he really is. The Freebirds tried to knock him out, but they couldn’t! He’s going to win it!”
Lowrance, “No one knows more about toughness than this man, he could be right.”

“Bruiser Brawl” Semi-Final
Kerry Von Erich vs. Gary Young
Young has been on fire as of late. This will be his test. The “Modern Day Warrior” showed no signs of injury in his first bout. Young jumps Kerry before the bell. He punches and kicks, backing Kerry into the corner. Kerry fights his way out. He goes toe to toe with Young. Young tries all the dirty tricks in the book, but Kerry is too much. He clamps on the iron claw, and Young is out. Kerry is in the finals.

“Bruiser Brawl” Semi-Final
Chris Adams vs. Terry Gordy
As they say, “This one could be a main event in any arena in the country!” The bell rings and they lock up. Adams mat wrestles, but Gordy can do that as well. They exchange holds, and counter holds. Adams begins to gain an advantage. Gordy counters with rough house moves. What a match. Adams goes for a roll up, but Gordy kicks out. Gordy begins to overpower Adams. He sets up the piledriver. He hits it, and covers the “Gentleman”. Referee David Manning counts the fall. It will be Kerry Von Erich vs. Terry Gordy in the finals.

Kevin Von Erich and Sgt Slaughter vs. The Executioners
The mysterious Executioners come to the ring. They are from Europe, and wear black masks, and black bodysuits with executioner's axes emblazoned on their backs. There is a din in the back. It louder and louder as Kevin Von Erich and Sgt Slaughter make their way to the ring. The crowd explodes as the two legends enter the ring. Slaughter will open the match against Executioner II. The masked man is vicious. He rakes Sarge’s eyes, and continues the attack. Slaughter has had enough. He rallies and batters the Executioner. The mask man tags in his partner. I tries his hand. He makes some headway. Slaughter is in a bit of trouble, so he tags in Kevin Von Erich. The elder Von Erich is still one one of the best. Kevin moves quickly, and now he is in control. Kevin hits the flying bodypress for the win. A popular victory here in Indianapolis.

Bob Orton vs. The Great Wojo
The World Wrestling Association Title was always one of the most prestigious titles in the wrestling world. It was defended all over the Midwest, but its’ home was Indianapolis. Tonight, the skilled Great Wojo meets one of the toughest veterans in the business. The bell rings and these two veterans lock up. The momentum goes back and forth. Wojo takes Orton down. Bob escapes, and then takes Wojo to the mat. Both men can wrestle, and brawl. The crowd is on the edge of their seats. Orton gets Wojo up on the top rope, and hits the superplex. He covers Wojo, and referee Marty Miller counts 1...2...3! Bob Orton is the new WWA Champion! Verne Gagne, and Divk the Bruiser present the new title to Orton.

The Fabulous Freebirds (Champions) vs. The Fantastics
Plays, and the Challengers come to the ring. Now we hear,
And the Champions enter the arena. What a match this will be! David Manning is your referee. He lectures Hayes and Roberts before the bell. Bobby Fulton and Michael Hayes open the contest. Hayes is very aggressive, and this gives him an early edge. Fulton is in trouble, and Hayes is relentless. He stomps on the prone Fulton. Hayes is very confident. He pulls Fulton to his feet, and tries to shoot him into the opposite corner. Bobby reverses it and Hayes crashes into the turnbuckles. Now Fulton is in control. He works over Michael’s arm. Tommy Rogers tags in and continues the assault. Hayes is desperate. He rakes Tommy’s eyes, and tags in Roberts. Buddy pulls out all the dirty tricks in his bag. He works for a time, but the Fantastics will not be denied. Rogers sets Buddy for the Fantastic flip. He hits it and Manning counts three! The Fantastics are the new World Tag Team Champions! Tommy and Bobby celebrate in the ring while the crowd goes crazy!

“Bruiser Brawl” Final
Kerry Von Erich vs. Terry Gordy
These two have met before, but rarely with so much at stake. The Freebirds’ vicious attack on Kerry, two weeks ago, have intensified things, if that’s possible. Bronko Lubich will try to control the action. Both men pace back and forth waiting for the bell. It rings, and we are underway. Kerry comes out a house afire. He goes right after Gordy, and we have a brawl. Kerry is all over Gordy, and Bam Bam rolls out of the ring. Von Erich follows him to the floor, and they continue to brawl. They both work their way back to the ring. Kerry goes for the iron claw! He gets it set, but Gordy reaches the ropes. Terry is desperate, and picks up the aggressiveness. Gordy slams Kerry, and covers him. Von Erich kicks out at two. Kerry moves in, and Gordy lands a kick to the midsection. This slows Kerry. Gordy attacks. The crowd is on their feet. Terry grabs Von Erich. He hits the piledriver, and covers Kerry. Lubich counts 1...2...3! Terry Gordy wins the ‘Bruiser Brawl’! The crowd is stunned. Marc Lowrance and Dick the Bruiser come to the ring, as do Michael Hayes and Buddy Roberts. The Freebirds celebrate. Bruiser prepares to hand the $10,000 to Gordy. Hayes grabs the check and the mic.
Hayes, “Listen you old fossil! Give us the check and get back to the home! Now Von Erich, Bam Bam just beat you! The World Title is next! Terry is going to take that from you!”
