The program opens with highlights from last week. We see the Freebirds spike piledrive Kerry Von Erich.
Bill Mercer, and Rod Trongard are with Kevin Von Erich.
Mercer, “We are dispensing with our usual open. We are here with Kevin Von Erich. Kevin, after that heinous attack on your brother, how is Kerry?”
Kevin, “It’s not good. He has a pretty bad neck injury.”
Trongard, “Will he be ready for ‘Labor Day Star Wars’?”
Kevin, “The doctors told him not to wrestle, but you know Kerry, he said he will. be in Indianapolis, no matter what! Gordy, Hayes, Roberts, you messed with us once before, and you ended up out of Texas! This time,it’ll be out of wrestling! Kerry will be in the ‘Bruiser Brawl’, and he’ll win it, and he wants Gordy in the final, and if you other two stick your nose into things, you’ll have to deal with me!”
Mercer, “Let me mention, the Freebirds are here tonight, and they will be in six man action, now Kevin Von Erich is ready, and he’s in our first match.”
Match #1
Kevin Von Erich vs. Nick Busick
Kevin comes out like a man possessed. He goes right after the bigger Busick. Nick gets in a few shots, but Kevin is too much. He clamps on the iron claw for the win.

Gary Young vs. El Diablo
Young continues to impress. He is more aggressive, and it has paid off in wins. There is also something strange going on with he and Mr. Olympia. The masked veteran from Mexico takes the fight to Young, and Gary fights back. We have a brawl that Young wins with a shoulder breaker.
Winner-Gary Young
Marc Lowrance is with Frenchy Martin and his men.
Lowrance, “With me are Frenchy Martin and his men. Mr. Martin, your men continue to be at, or near the top of the wrestling world. The ‘Bruiser Brawl’ is coming up, Dino Bravo winning it would be another feather in your beret.”
Martin, “Of course he will win it! Look at this man, the strongest man in the World, not just Canada! He will destroy the competition, Adams, Young, Kerry Von Erich! It doesn't matter! The World will be in our hands!”
Lowrance, “Mr. Martin is very confident. Let’s see Dino Bravo in action.”
Match #3
Dino Bravo w/Frenchy Martin vs. Buck Zumhofe
The powerful Bravo has looked very good since arriving in the USWA.zumhofe is a popular veteran, but he has a tough task. Buck tries to hit and run. It works until Bravo catches him. Dino overpowers Zumhofe and wins with a side suplex.

The Rougeau Brothers w/Frenchy Martin vs. The Simpson Brothers
Two top brother teams meet in this one. The Simpsons have the speed and quickness advantage, the Rougeaus the wrestling skill. Steve opens with Jacques. Rougeau tries to slow the pace. Simpson won’t let him. Steve lands a dropkick, and Jacques tumbles out of the ring. Martin confers with the brothers, and Jacques returns to the ring. Simpson stays on top of him. Jacques tags in Raymond, and elder Rougeau goes to work. He roughs up Steve. Shaun tags in, and the younger Simpson tries his hand. He looks good, but things turn to the veterans. They double team Simpson with the Rougeau bomb, and referee Marty Miller counts the fall. A very exciting match.

Lowrance, “Fans, we are a week away from Labor Day, and ‘Labor Day Star Wars’. Market Square Arena in downtown Indianapolis will be the place. What a night of action we we will have.
Kevin Von Erich and Sgt Slaughter will team up to meet, a tag team from Europe, the Executioners.
Phil LaFleur will defend the World Light Heavyweight Title against Greg Gagne.
Jerry Blackwell will meet Kokina Maximus.
The Fabulous Freebirds defend the World Tag Team Titles against the Fantastics.
We can add one more match to the card. The World Wrestling Association, known as the WWA, was the predominant wrestling organization in Indianapolis, and all over the Midwest. The WWA was a prestigious title held by many top wrestlers such as, Harley Race, Wilbur Snyder, our own Baron Von Raschke, and of course, Dick the Bruiser. The title will be coming back. On September 5, the Great Wojo, a legendary amateur champion, will face the veteran Bob Orton with the Title at stake, This will be a great match. This brings us to the ‘Bruiser Brawl’. Eight men will compete in a single elongation tournament. The winner will receive a check for $10,000 to be presented by the legendary Dick the Bruiser. These eight men will compete.

Chris Adams vs. Mike Reed
Adams is entered in the ‘Bruiser Brawl’. He is very capable of winning it. He is very sharp tonight. Reed puts up a fight, but the “Gentleman” is too much. Chris wins with a superkick

Mr. Olympia vs. Frankie Lancaster
The masked man is also in the ‘Brawl’, as is Gary Young. Young keeps interjecting himself in Olympia’s matches, and no one seems to know what’s going on. Olympia is a fine wrestler. He looks very good. He takes Lancaster down, and ties him in knots. Lancaster gets to the ropes, and the hold is broken. The match goes back and forth. Lancaster whips Olympia into the corner. Referee Rick Hazzard is in the way. He and Olympia both hit the turnbuckles, and both go down. Both are stunned. Lancaster moves in, but suddenly Gary Young hits the ring. He grabs Frankie and hits a shoulder breaker. Young rolls out of the ring. Olympia struggles to his feet. He sees Lancaster. Olympia is confused, but he covers him. Hazzard gets to his feet and counts the fall. Olympia wins, but he’s not sure how,

Lowrance, “With me are the tag team champions. First of all, what you did last week was horrible, but you heard Kevin Von Erich, Kerry will be in Indianapolis.”
Hayes, “Well Lowrance, no one cares what you think. Kerry Von Erich isn’t going to show up! Kevin can come out here and lie, like the Von Erich's always do, but Kerry ain’t man enough to get within 100 miles of Bam Bam! Terry is going to win that tournament, and then he’s going to be the World Champion! You can count on that!”
Lowrance, “Michael Hayes, and the Freebirds, are very confident.”

Six Man Tag Team Match
The Fabulous Freebirds vs. Brian Adias, Brickhouse Brown, and Brad Rheingans
The World Tag Team Champions compete in their specialty. Hayes and Adias open the contest. These two met many times in Texas. Adias is aggressive, and goes toe to toe with Hayes. Michael tags in Roberts, and “Buddy Jack” goes to his bag of tricks. He uses all the illegal moves he knows. Adias is in trouble, and he tags in Brown. Brickhouse uses his speed, and the momentum switches. Roberts tags in the big man. Gordy overpowers Brown. Rheingans comes in, and tries to mat wrestle. It works for a time, but Gordy hits the piledriver for the win.
Winners-The Fabulous Freebirds

Trongard, “The Freebirds show why they are the six man experts.”
