The program opens with Bill Mercer and Fritz Von Erich seated in the studio.
Mercer, “We are beginning the show in the studio tonight. We are doing this because we have huge, breaking news about ‘Labor Day Star Wars’, and the ‘Bruiser Brawl’. I’ll start by announcing two matches. First of all. The World Light Heavyweight Champion, Phil LaFleur, defends against Greg Gagne. Greg missed his chance a few weeks ago, but he has it now. Finally, we have an ‘All Star Team’ in action. Sgt Slaughter teams up with Kevin Von Erich. These two popular stars will meet the European Tag Team Champions, a team from France, the Executioners. We don’t know much about this team, but our reports do say they are very vicious. Now Fritz, i know you have news about the ‘Bruiser Brawl’.”
Fritz, “Thank you Bill. Last week we found out that Dino Bravo, Chris Adams, and Iceman King Parsons qualified for the tournament. Then the Angel of Death defeated Brian Adias to make it into the field. I can add three more names tonight. Mr. Olympia and Gary Young are in, and is one of my least favorite people, Terry Gordy.”
Mercr, ‘Those are three top names, but I know you have another announcement. We have a qualifying match tonight.”
Fritz, “Yes we do Bill. We have a qualifying match. All matches were picked at random, and this is the last matchup, the American Heavyweight Champion, Masa Saito, takes on...the World Champion Kerry Von Erich!”
Mercer. “Wow! Saito vs. Kerry for a shot at the ‘Bruiser Brawl’! That’s our main event, so let's get the program underway/”
Match #1
Mr. Olympia vs. Frankie Lancaster
The masked man has been very impressive, and has qualified for the ‘Bruiser Brawl’. Lancaster is very underrated, this will be a good one. The match begins as a slugfest. Lancaster holds his own until Olympia takes him down. The masked man controls the bout with mat wrestling. He then applies th figure four, and Lancaster. As referee David Manning raises his hand, Gary Young enters the ring. He whispers something to Olympia. Young leaves the ring, and Olympia appears to be thinking about something.

Jerry Blackwell vs. Farmer Boy Ipo
Two massive men meet in our second bout. Both men charge like wild bulls. Neither takes a step backwards. Now they begin to throw lefts and rights. Ipo appears to be getting the better of things, but the Las Vegas crowd gets behind the “Mountain from Stone Mountain”. Blackwell takes over. He slams Ipo, and hits a big splash for the win.

Marc Lowrance is with Frenchy Martin and his men.
Lowrance, “With me are Frenchy Martin, and his group. Mr. Martin, things are going well for the from Canada, Dino Bravo is in the ‘Bruiser Brawl’, Rick Martel is the
Texas Champion, the Rougeaus are top contenders for the tag title, and Phil LaFleur is the light heavyweight champion. You must be very proud.”
Martin, “Of course I am you stupid American! We came to the USWA, an organization named for the most corrupt country in the world, and we have talked what we wanted! We have the Texas Title, we have the light heavyweight title, Dino Bravo will win the ‘Bruiser Brawl’! I will control the USWA! The gold will come to me, get used to it you stupid Americans!”
Lowrance, “Frenchy Martin, ladies and gentlemen, winning friends wherever he goes. The Rougeau Brothers are in action next.”
Match #3
The Rougeau Brothers w/Frenchy Martin vs. Mike Reed and El Diablo
The brothers from Montreal have been impressive since arriving in the USWA. Jacques opens up against Reed. Rougeau is a very good wrestler, and he shows it. He ties Reed in knots. Raymond tags in and tries his hand. He controls the action. Diablo. Raymond is too much, and finishes things with the Rougeau bomb.

Gary Young vs. Pete Sanchez
Young had something to say to Mr. Olympia after an earlier match. No one seems to know what that was about. Gary has been improving every time out, and he shows it against Sanchez. Pete is rugged, and puts up a good fight, Young wins with a shoulder breaker.

Marc Lowrance is with Sheik Adnan el Kaissey and Masa Saito.
Lowrance, “With me are Sheik Adnan el Kaissey, and Mr. Saito. Sheik Adnan, tonight, your man, the American Heavyweight Champion, Masa Saito, meets Kerry Von Erich, for entry into the ‘Bruiser Brawl’. Is he ready?”
Sheik Adnan, “Ready? You ask if this man is ready? Look at him! This the most dangerous man in wrestling, he has destroyed everyone in his path! Now Kerry Von Erich is there. Von Erich, you are our next victim! We will beat you, then we will win the brawl! You cannot stop my army!”
Lowrance, “Our main event is Saito vs. Kerry!”

Iceman King Parsons vs. The Destroyer
The Iceman has qualified for the “Bruiser Brawl”. He will be one of the favorites. He goes right after the masked man. The Destroyer takes to the floor to regroup. He returns and Parsons is still on fire. He hits the butt bump for the win.

Dino Bravo w/Frenchy Martin vs. Nick Busick
Bravo has also qualified for the “Brawl”. He meets the big youngster from Weirton, WV. Busick takes the fight right to the Canadien strongman. He throws big rights and lefts. Bravo fires back. We have a slugfest. Bravo is too strong. He takes over and wins with a side suplex.

Marc Lowrance is with Kerry Von Erich.
Lowrance, “With me is the World Champion. Kerry, many were surprised when you entered the qualifying for the ‘Bruiser Brawl’, and now you face Saito.”
Kerry, “Marc, I’m a competitor. I was not going to miss a chance to be in the tournament. I want to be the best in the business, and this is a chance to wrestle the best.”
Lowrance, “Mr. Saito is vicious. This won’t be easy.”
Kerry, “Like I said, I want the best. Saito is a monster. But I’ve dealt with monster’s before. I’m ready, and the fans are with me!”
Lowrance, “Our main event is next.”

“Bruiser Brawl” Qualifying Match
Kerry Von Erich vs. Mr. Saito w/Sheik Adnan el Kaissey
There is a “Big Fight Feel” in the Showboat, Saito comes to the ring and stands menacingly in the corner. We hear,
And the crowd goes wild. Kerry Von Erich enters the ring. Kerry and Saito wait for the bell. Referee Bronko Lubich gets us underway. They lock up, and Saito begins to work over the World Champion. Saito is vicious. He chops and kicks, and Sheik Adnan shouts instructions from ringside. Saito tries to shoot Kerry into the corner, Von Erich reverses it, and Saito hits the turnbuckles. He staggers out and Kerry backdrops him to the mat. Now Kerry is in control. Sheik Adnan is now worried. He continues to shout instructions. The Sheik climbs up on the apron. Kerry whips Saito into his manager. Sheik Adnan falls to the floor. Saito comes off the ropes and Kerry lands a discus punch. Saito goes down, and Von Erich with the cover. Lubich couunts 1...2..3! Kerry Von Erich wins! He enters the “Bruiser Brawl”!

Trongard, “Bill, the World Champion proves just how good he is!”
Mercer, “Yes he did, what a match! The field for the ‘Bruiser Brawl’ is set. We will talk about ‘Labor Day Star Wars’ next week, and we have a fantastic main event. Rod tell us about it.”
Trongard, “We have a battle of the giants, Kamala meets Jerry Blackwell, don’t miss this one!”
