Trongard, “Coast to coast, continent to component to continent, border to border, ‘USWA Championship Wrestling’ is on the air!Bill, the ‘Bruiser Brawl’ is coming up.”
Mercer, “Yes it is Rod. We can announce three qualifiers tonight, and in our main event, we have a qualifying match, Brian Adias takes on the Angel of Death, the winner goes to Indianapolis..”
Trongard, “Let’s get thing started with Marc Lowrance.”
Match #1
Baron Von Raschke vs. Farmer Boy Ipo
The massive Ipo takes on the popular Baron. Link tries to roughhouse, but the Baron is ready for it. He fights off Ipo and wins with the claw.

Non-Title Match
Phil LaFleur (World Light Heavyweight Champion) vs. El Diablo
The new Champion takes on the luchadore. Diablo is quick, but the fans are coming to notice that LaFleur is a fine wrestler. He takes over and wins with rolling reverse.
Winner-Phil LaFleur
Marc Lowrance is with the Fabulous Freebirds.
Lowrance, “With me are, the World Tag Team Champions, the Fabulous Freebirds. Gentlemen, the Fantastics are hot on your trail. They may be the team to take those titles.”
Hayes, “What are you talking about Lowrance? Look at us, the three top wrestlers in the sport, and have been for almost a decade! Those two pretty boys better stick you chasing teeny boppers, and stay out of our way!”
Lowrance, “Will any of you be competing in the ‘Bruiser Brawl’?”
Hayes, “If we do, I’m sure you’ll. Be the last to figure it out.”
Lowrance, “Thank you for the kind words. The Champions will be in action next.”
Match #3
Non-Title Match
The Fabulous Freebirds (World Tag Team Champions) vs. Brickhouse Brown and Calypso Jim
It will be Roberts and Hayes tonight. The team of Brown, and Jim will be a goo test. Brickhouse and Roberts open the contest. Brown takes to the air and drop kicks Roberts out of the ring. Hayes checks on Buddy and admonishes him. Buddy returns to the ring and reaches into his bag of dirty tricks. He roughs up Brickhouse. Jim tags in and tries his hand. In cones the leader of the Freebirds. Jim puts up a good fight, Hayes uses a DDT for the win.
Winners-The Fabulous Freebirds
Match #4
The Fantastics vs. Bob Marcus and Mike Reed
The popular Fantastics are just waiting for another chance at the Freebirds. Bobby Fulton opens with Marcus. Bobby whips him into the ropes and goes for a sleephold. Marcus gets to the ropes, and the hold is broken. The match continues with both teams tagging in and out. The end comes when Rogers uses the Fantastic flip to finish off Reed.
Winners-The Fantastics
Bill Mercer and Fritz Von Erich are seated in the studio.
Mercer,”Labor Day is fast approaching, and that means ‘Star Wars’, and the ‘Bruiser Brawl’! With me is USWA President Fritz Von Erich. Fritch, we know this will be a fantastic night of wrestling. What do we know so far?”
Fritz, “The ‘Bruiser Brawl’ is going to be exciting. Anything named after Dick the Bruiser has to be intense. The tournament will consist of eight men. We can name three of them now. First, one of Frenchy Martin’s men, Dino Bravo. Next, the former Texas Champion, Iceman King Parsons, and finally, Chris Adams, one of the best wrestlers in the sport. One more man will qualify tonight.”
Mercer, “That’s right, Brian Adias meets the Angel of Death, the winner will enter the tournament. I have heard that you have one more match to announce.”
Fritz, “That’s true Bill. The World Tag Team Championship will be on the line. The Freebirds defend against the Fantastics. It’s about time some shut up Hayes and those other bums!”
Mercer, “Remember, Monday night, September 5 at Market Square Arena in Indianapolis, ‘Labor Day Star Wars’.”

Kevin Von Erich vs. Pete Sanchez
We hear,
And Kevin Von Erich comes to the ring. He has been on a winning streak as of late. The big veteran Sanchez will be a good test. Sanchez tries to use roughhouse tactics, but Kevin is ready for it. He takes over and wins with the iron claw.

Eric Embry vs. Brad Rheingans
Embry is a brawler, and Rheingans is a skilled mat wrestler. Brad starts fast. He takes Eric down and punishes him. Embry reaches the ropes, and referee Bronko Lubich calls for the break. Embry ramps up the illegal tactics. Rheingans is game, but Embry uses the piledriver for the win.
Winner-Eric Embry
Marc Lowrance is with Sheik Adnan el Kaissey and the Angel of Death.
Lowrance, “With me are Sheik Adnan, and the Angel of Death. Sheik Adnan, your man has a unique opportunity tonight. He takes on Brian Adias for a spot in the ‘Bruiser Brawl’. Adias is very talented.”
Sheik Adnan, “You are correct Lowrance, my man has an opportunity to destroy Adias, a friend of the Von Erichs! The Angel of Death is a force in wrestling, and he will take care of Adias, and then win the ‘Bruiser Brawl’! Sheik Adnan will continue to control the USWA, and the ‘Bruiser brawl’ will belong to me!”
Lowrance, “Our main event is next.”

“Bruiser Brawl” Qualifying Match
The Angel of Death w/Sheik Adnan el Kaissey vs. Brian Adias
Adias has returned after a national tour. The massive Angel is one of the most dangerous men in the USWA. Adias looks good early. He hits and moves, and the Angel is frustrated. He takes to the floor and confers with the Sheik. He returns and goes after Adias. The Angel hammers away with rights and lefts. Now Adias is in retreat. The Angel whips Adias into the corner and runs in with a knee to the mid-section. Sheik Adnan shouts instructions from ringside. Brian fights gamely, but the Angel is too much. He hits a powerslam, and referee David Manning counts the fall. The Angel of Death is in the “Bruiser Brawl”.
Winner-The Angel of Death
Bill Mercer and Rod Trongard close the show.
Trongard, “The Angel of Death was very impressive.”
Mercer, “Yes, he was. Now he is in the ‘Bruiser Brawl’. Next week, we will have more information about ‘Labor Day Star Wars’. We have a qualifying match for the ‘Bruiser Brawl’, and the participants will shock you, but you have to wait and see, we aren’t going to tell you until next week, so tune in.”
