Trongard, “Coast to coast, continent of o continent, border to border, ‘USWA Championship Wrestling’ is on the air.”
Mercer, “The summer is heating up, and so is the wrestling action. The American Heavyweight Title is on the line, the ‘Torture Man, Masa Saito defends against ‘Gentleman’ Chris Adams. The World Light Heavyweight Title is up for grabs. The World Champion will be here, as well as the Fabulous Freebirds.plus, Fritz Von Erich will be here with a big announcement. Let’s go to Marc Lowrance.”
Match #1
Greg Gagne vs. Manuel Villalobos
Greg was cheated out of a shot at the Light Heavyweight Title, you know he is looking for a new one. The match is scientific, and Villalobos is game, but aggregates over. He uses the Gagne sleeper to end it.

Eric Embry vs. El Diablo
Embry meets the Mexican “Luchador”. Diablo pulls out all the dirty tricks, but Embry is happy to return in kind. The match turns into a slugfest. Embry wins with a piledriver.

Marc Lowrance is with Kerry Von Erich.
Lowrance, “With me is, Kerry Von Erich, the World Champion. Kerry, you defeated Wahoo McDaniel, now everyone in the wrestling world knows you are the best. That means everyone is gunning for you.”
Kerry, “That's right Marc. People all over the World want this title. Let ‘em come after it. It belongs to me, and the fans. I’ve got an open contract, everyone can come after me, but taking this won’t be easy! I’m not giving this up!”
Lowrance, “The World Champion is ready for all comers.”

Non-Title Match
Kerry Von Erich (USWA World Champion) vs. Rick Link
Plays and the World Champion comes to the ring. The huge Rick Link will be a test. Kerry goes right after Link. The youngsters size poses a problem for the Champion. Kerry figures it out. He scoops up, and slams the giant. When Link gets to his feet, Kerry hits a discus punch for the win.

Rick Martel (Texas Champion) w/Frenchy Martin vs.Mike Reed
The Texas Champion, who hates Texas, as well as all of America, comes to the ring. He badmouth say the Las Vegas ringsiders. Young Mike Reed has his hands full. Martel is as sharp as usual. He ties Reed in knots. Mike fights back, but Rick is too much. He wins with the Quebec card.

Bill Mercer and Fritz Von Erich are seated in the studio.
Mercer, “Welcome to the ‘USWA’ studios. With me is President Fritz Von Erich. Fritz, we just saw video footage of, one of the toughest men in the history, Dick the Bruiser.”
Fritz, “Bruiser was one of the toughest men I ever wrestled. He ruled Indianapolis for many years.”
Mercer, “That’s why we brought him up. Our next big show is going to be in the ‘Circle City’, the home of the 500, Indianapolis, IN. On Monday night, September 5, we present ‘Labor Day Star Wars’ at the beautiful Market Square Arena. Here’s where the Bruiser fits in. Fritz, tell us about the ‘Bruiser Brawl’.”
Fritz, “The ‘Bruiser Brawl’ is an eight man, one night tournament to determine the toughest man in the USWA. The winner will receive a check for $10,000 presented by Dick the Bruiser himself.”
Mercer, “There will be qualifying matches taking place all over the country. The eight winners will advance to Indianapolis. We will keep you updated.”

Non-Title Match
The Fabulous Freebirds (World Tag Team Champions) vs. Brad Rheingans and Brian Adias
The Fantastics are hot on the trail of the Champions, but the men from “Badstreet” better not overlook tonight’s foes. Roberts and Gordy represent the Champions. Buddy and Adias start the show. Roberts pulls out all his dirty tricks. Adias is ready, and goes toe to toe with Roberts. Brian fights back, and Roberts tags in Gordy. The biggest Freebird goes to work. Adias is in trouble, and he tags in Rheingans. The former Olympian tries his hand. Gordy is too much. He sets up Brad, and uses the piledriver to end the match.

World Light Heavyweight Championship
Phil LaFleur (Champion) w/Frenchy Martin vs. Brickhouse Brown
The new Champion meets the talented Brickhouse. LaFleur is a very good wrestler, and he takes the fight to Brown. Brickhouse matches LaFleur move for move. Brown rolls up the Champ, but LaFleur kicks out. Martin looks worried. He shouts instructions in French. LaFleur picks up the pace, and hits a flying bodypress for the win.

Marc Lowrance is with Masa Saito, and Sheik Adnan.
Lowrance, “With me are, the American Heavyweight Champion, and his manager Sheik Adnan el Kaissie. Sheik Adnan, tonight, Mr. Saito takes on Chris Adams, he is a top challenger for any title.”
Sheik Adnan, A cowardly Englishman! Chris Adams, you are walking into the lion’s den. Mr. Saito is on a mission! He will destroy anyone in his path! Adams, this is your last night in wrestling, you are finished!”
Lowrance, “Mr. Saito vs. Chris Adams is next.”

American Heavyweight Championship
Mr. Saito (Champion) w/Sheik Adnan el Kaissey vs. Chris Adams
The “Gentleman” is ready for action. He goes right after Saito. Adams uses his judo skills to combat Mr. Torture. Saito is in trouble. Sheik Adnan shouts instructions, but he is worried. Saito fires back with chops and kicks. Now Adams is in retreat. Now Chris fires back. We have a pier six brawl. Adams whips Saito into the ropes and clamps on the sleeper. Saito fights his way to the ropes. Referee Marty Miller calls for the break. The intensity of the match increases. Sheik Adnan climbs on the ring apron. This distracts Adams. Saito catches him behind with a German suplex.. He bridges, and Miller counts the fall. Adams has been duped.
Winner-Masa Saito
Bill Mercer and Rod Trongard close the show.
Trongard, “The Torture Man is going to be hard to beat, especially with the Sheik by his side.”
Mercer, “You are right about that. Chris Adams will be out for revenge. We are short on time, join us next week, of ‘USWA Championship Wrestling’!”
