Bill Mercer and Rod Trongard open the show.
Trongard, “Coast to coast, continent to continent, border to border, USWA Championship Wrestling is on the air. Bill, we are in Las Vegas!”
Mercer, “The beautiful ‘City of Lights’. What a show we have for you tonight. Kerry Von Erich is still the World Champion, and he is here tonight, but we have a new Texas Champion Rick Martel defeated Iceman King Parsons.”
Trongard, “But he might not hold it for long. We have a rematch in our main event. Martel meets Parsons again! Let’s get thing started with Jerry Blackwell.”
Match #1
Jerry Blackwell vs. Pete Sanchez
Blackwell’s face is still bandaged from Sheik Adnan’s fire, but Jerry got some revenge against Kokina in Chicago. The veteran Sanchez starts fast, but Blackwell is ready. He fights off Pete, and wins with a big splash.

The Fabulous Freebirds (World Tag Team Champion) vs. Manuel Villalobos and Mike Reed
The Champions survived in Chicago by being counted out. You know the Fantastics will be demanding a rematch. Roberts and Hayes are in the ring tonight. Buddy and Villalobos start the match. Roberts uses every underhanded trick he knows to control the action.he tags in Hayes, and the leader of the ‘Birds’ takes over. Reed tags in and falls prey to the DDT. The Champions win.
Winners-The Fabulous Freebirds
Marc Lowrance is with Kerry Von Erich.
Lowrance, “With me is the World Champion. Kerry, it wasn’t easy, but you beat Wahoo McDaniel at his own game.”
Kerry, “It wasn't easy Marc. McDaniel is tough, and he is the master of the strap match. The Chicago fans got behind me, just like the Texas fans do, and it lifted me. Marc, when I won the Title, I told you I would wrestle anyone, and I’ll keep doing that.”
Lowrance, “I know there will be many people coming after that title. Now, let’s see Kerry in action.”

Non-Title Match
Kerry Von Erich (World Champion) vs. Nick Busick
Plays, and the World Champion comes to the ring. Kerry is so sharp. He goes right after the youngster from West Virginia. Busick is game, but the Champion is too much. He controls the action and wins with the iron claw.

Shaun Simpson vs. Brickhouse Brown
Two young light heavyweights meet in this one. The pace of the match is very quick. Shan uses a sunset flip for a two count, but Brown kicks out. Brickhouse uses a dropkick to send Simpson to the mat. Brown covers him, but Shaun kicks out before referee Marty Miller counts three. Both men continue to pull out all stops. Finally, the bell rings. The time limit has expired, Miller declares the match a draw.
Result-Time Limit Draw
Marc Lowrance is with Sgt Slaughter.
Lowrance, “With me Sgt Slaughter. Sgt, you gained a measure of revenge against, Sheik Adnan and his men, with the win in the six man tag team match, but now he has Kamala.”
Slaughter, “Attention puke! Stand up straight when you address Sgt Slaughter. We took care of that Arab, and his band of fools, but we know they’ll be back!”
Lowrance, “As a matter of fact, you are signed to meet Kamala, next week, on this program.”
Slaughter, “It’s going to be a war, but who is more ready for war? Is it you Kamala? I don’t think so! You step on the ring with Sgt Slaughter, and find out what war is all about! And Lowrance, get a haircut!”
Lowrance, “Sgt Slaughter vs. Kamala, next week, and I guess I better go see my barber.”
Match #5
Sgt Slaughter vs. Rick Link
The massive Link is a strange individual, but Slaughter is primed for action. Link tries to use his bulk, but Sarge is ready for it. Slaughter is very aggressive, and works over Link. Rivk puts up a fight, but Slaughter hits the Slaughter cannon followed by the cobra clutch, and it’s over.
Winner-Sgt Slaughter
Match #6
Chris Adams vs. Doug Somers
Adams meets the tough veteran from Georgia. Somers jumps Chris before the bell. He hammers away, and Adams is yet to remove his ring jacket. Somers whips Adams into the ropes and waits for a backdrop. Adams grabs the ropes and lands a kick. This allows Chris to remove his jacket, and he goes to work. He is on top of his game. Somers fights back, but the “Gentleman” is too much. He lands a superkick for the win.
Winner-Chris Adams
Marc Lowrance is with Frenchy Martin, and Rick Martel.
Lowrance, “With me are, Frenchy Martin, and the new Texas Champion, Rick Martel. Mr. Martel, I assume you are very happy.”
Martel, “I am disgusted!”
Lowrance, “What do you mean?”
Martel, “I am now the Champion of the most disgusting, repulsive state in the worst country in the World, Texas! I am the most handsome man in the world, I look like a model, and now I have to be around all those stupid, redneck, Cowboys, it disgusts me!”
Martin, “Rick Martel is right, Texas is an awful place, but we will enjoy coming to that place, and embarrassing all the wrestlers, and especially those stupid cowboys who come to the matches, not to mention all the ugly women!”
Martel, “That’s right Frenchy. The women in Texas, and all the USA, are cows!”
Lowrance, “Alright, I think we’ve heard enough. What about your rematch with the Iceman”
Martel, “I beat that loser in Chicago, I’ll beat him again!”

Texas Championship
Rick Martel (Champion) w/Frenchy Martin vs. Iceman King Parsons
Referee Bronko Lubich and the Iceman wait in the ring. Frenchy Martin, waving the Quebec flag, leads Rick Martel to the ring. He struts arrogantly around the ring while Martin argues with Parsons. Lubich calls for the bell, and we are underway. Martel may be arrogant, but he can wrestle. He controls the early action. The Las Vegas crowd gets behind the Iceman, and he rallies. Parsons goes for an abdominal stretch, but Martel hip tosses him to the mat. Rick is on Parsons quickly. Martin shouts instructions from ringside. Martel tries to whip Parsons into the ropes, but I mean reverses it. Martel bounces off the ropes, and Parsons grabs a sleephold! The Champion is in trouble! Suddenly, a large blond man hits the ring, it’s ...Dino Bravo!
Bravo attacks Parsons. He and Martel go to work on Iceman. They leave the former champion lying in the ring. Martin raises the hands of Martel, and Bravo. The French-Canadien contingent just became more dangerous!
Winner-Iceman King Parsons (Disqualification)
Rod Trongard, and Bill Mercer close the show.
Mercer, “Rod, the French man has another star!”
Trongard, “Dino Bravo looks a little different, but he is still very dangerous. This bears watching.”
Mercer, “The summer gets hotter, and hotter. Next week, we have a World Junior Heavyweight Title match, Steve Simpson defends against Greg Gagne. Add that to Sgt Slaughter vs. Kamala, don’t miss this one!”
