Trongard, “Coast to coast, continent to continent, border to border, ‘USWA Championship Wrestling’ is on the air! We are one week away from the ‘Parade of Champions’! Bill, what a night we have for the fans.”
Mercer, “Rod, this is going to be the biggest ‘Parade of Champions’ yet. Tonight, we will see the wrestlers who will be in action next Saturday. Let’s go to the ring.”
Match #1
Chris Adams vs. El Diablo
The popular “Gentleman” has returned to the area, and looks better than ever. He meets the masked man from Mexico. Diablo is very aggressive, but Adams is ready for it. He takes over and wins with a superkick.

Masa Saito w/Sheik Adnan El Kaissey vs. Manuel Villalobos
“Mr. Tortue” has a date with Nick Bockwinkel on Saturday. Villalobos, the young Mexican wrestler, will be a good test. Manny is in early trouble. Saito punishes him, and wins with a German suplex.
Winner-Masa Saito
Marc Lowrance is with Nick Bockwinkel.
Lowrance, “With me is, the American Heavyweight Champion, Nick Bockwinkel. Me. Bockwinkel, you just saw Mr. Saito in action, he is primed, and ready for you.”
Bockwinkel, “Saito is a great wrestler, that is unquestioned. He has been on top of the wrestling world for some time now. That is undisputed, but what is also undisputed, is that Nick Bockwinkel has achieved even more in his career. I have held World Titles for many years now. I now hold the American Heavyweight Title, and I defeated Mr. Saito to win this prestigious title. As powerful as Saito is, I do not believe he has the physical, and mental prowess to take this title. When you see me again, I will still be the American Heavyweight Champion.”
Lowrance, “Mr. Bockwinkel is very confident. Let’s see him in action.”

Nick Bockwinkel (American Heavyweight Champion) vs. Doug Somers
Somers will be a good test for Nick. They exchange holds and counter holds. Somers holds his own, but the tide turns toward the Champion. Somers tries to roughhouse. Bockwinkel is ready for this. He fights back. He clamps on the sleephold, and Somers is out.
Winner-Nick Bockwinkel
Match #4
The Olympians vs. Pete Sanchez and Nick Busick
The Olympians take on two, big, tough, men. Brad Rheingans and Pete Sanchez open the action. Sanchez opens up with roughhouse tactics. Rheingans is in early trouble. He hits a series of suplexes to gain control. He tags in Patera, and the Olympic strongman goes to work. Young Busick tags in, but he can’t handle Patera. Ken clamps on the full Nelson, and it is over.

The Fabulous Freebirds (World Tag Team Champions) vs. Brickhouse Brown and Calypso Jim
The Champions meet the Olympians at Texas Stadium. That will not be easy. Brown starts for his team, and he starts fast. He hits a dropkick on Michael Hayes, and the Freebird leader is stunned. Hayes regroups, and takes over. He tags in his big “Brother”, and Terry Gordy goes to work. Jim tags in, and tries his hand, but Gordy hits a piledriver for the win.

Non-Title Match
Wahoo McDaniel (USWA World Champion) vs. Skip Young
Wahoo has been more aggressive, and merciless since winning no the World Title. He will have his hands full with Kerry, but first, he has to deal with the Minister’s son from Oak Cliffs. Skip goes to the air, and Wahoo is stunned for a moment. The Champion regroups and punishes the veteran. Wahoo hits a deep double undertook for the win. The World Champion looks good.

Lowrance, “With me is, the Challenger for Saturday’s World Title match, Kerry Von Erich. Kerry, tonight, you meet Bill Irwin. That is quite a test just a week before your big match.”
Kerry, “Marc, I want the fans to see me take on the best. Every time I step into the ring, I want to wrestle the best in the business. When I beat Wahoo, I’ll defend the Title against anyone, any place. I want to be the World Champion, and I’ll be a fighting champion!”
Lowrance, “The fans would love that.”

Kerry Von Erich vs. Bill Irwin
Irwin and referee Bronko Lubich wait in the ring. We hear,
The “Modern Day Warrior” comes to the ring. The Dallas crowd goes crazy. When Kerry takes his robe off, the fans, especially the young ladies, get even louder. Irwin jumps him before the bell. The biker from Duluth is very aggressive. He punches, and kicks. He slams Kerry’s head into the turnbuckle, and the man from Lake Dallas is reeling. Irwin tries to shoot Kerry into the corner, but Von Erich reverses it. Irwin hits hard and staggers out. Kerry backdrops him to the mat. The momentum is on the side of the Texan. Kerry takes over and wins with the iron claw. Kerry Von Erich is ready for Wahoo McDaniel!
