Schiavone, “Welcome to Memphis, TN, what a two hours of action we have for you! Diamond Dallas Page will challenge Scott Norton for the World TV Title. In the main event, Big Van Vader and Sid Vicious are scheduled to take on Sting, and Hulk Hogan. I say ‘scheduled’ because Hulk Hogan is not here. Apparently, he was flying in from Los Angeles, and missed a connecting flight. He is trying to hire a private plane to get here. We will have more information as the show progresses.”
Flair, “Brain, what’s going on?”
Heenan, “I’ve got inside information on this. Hulk Hogan was in Hollywood, negotiating a movie deal. He was supposed to catch an 11 AM flight. The director and producer took him out for brunch, and they weren’t finished in time. That’s why he missed his flight. Like I said, he cares about Hulk Hogan, not Luger, not Sting.”
Schiavone, “Brain, if that’s true, you just broke a big story.”
Brain, “If anyone knows Hollywood, I know Hollywood.”
Schiavone, “Let’s get things started with Lex Luger.”

Lex Luger vs. Chris Hammrick
The young Hammrick has his hands full. He goes toe to toe with the “Total Package”, not a good idea.. Things begin to turn in Luger’s direction. He overpowers Hammrick and uses the torture rack for the win.

Hugh Morrus vs. Steven Dane
Hugh Morrus debuts and takes on the popular Dane. They lock up and Morrus uses his strength to take Dane down. He puts the boots to him, and Steven is in trouble. Morrus pulls him to his feet, and tries to whip him into the ropes. Dane reverses it and Hugh comes off the ropes, and Bagwell backdrops him. He goes for the cover, but Morrus kicks out. The match goes back and forth until Morrus slams Danel, and uses a moonsault, he calls “No Laughing Matter” for the win.

Schiavone, “I want to take a moment to speak to Ric Flair. Ric, I know you have a big announcement. The floor is yours.”
Flair, “Thank you, Tony Schiavone! Everyone knows that the ‘Nature Boy’ has been injured! I had shoulder surgery in 1996, and I’ve been on the mend. I went to to doctors last week, and got the report. On February 29, ‘Leap Day’, in Kansas City. Where I won the World Title for the first time, the ‘Nature Boy’ returns to the ring! Wooooooooo!”
Heenan, “That’s the best news I’ve heard in a long, long, time!”
Schiavone, “Wow! The ‘Nature Boy’ back in action. Tickets are on sale in Kansas City, at the Kemper Arena box office. They’ll go quickly, call now!”

Wolf Hawkfield vs. George South
Hawkfield, the mysterious man from Snow Mountain in Canada, has been so impressive. The veteran, George South, will be a good test. South tries mat wrestling. Hawkfield is ready for that. He controls the action, and hits the cyber spear for the win.

Super Calo vs. Ultimo Dragon
Super Calo is a young “Luchadore” he has a relationship with a rap group on Mexico. Tonight he faces the talented Ultimo Dragon. Calo wrestles with reckless abandon. It works...for a while. Dragon rights the ship. His unusual style is too much for Calo. Dragon uses the Asai moonsault for the win.

Gene Okerlund is with Sting and Lex Luger.
Okerlund, “With me are Sting and Lex Luger. Gentlemen, where is Hulk Hogan?”
Sting, “Gene, he’s not here. He couldn't make flight connections to get here in time.”
Okerlund, “That doesn’t seem like Hulk Hogan, he’s always focused. What does that do to the main event?”
Luger, “I’m stepping up. Stinger, you’ve stood up for me, and I’m here for you tonight.”
Sting, “Lex, you already wrestled tonight, but I know you’re man enough to go at it again, Owwwwwww!”
Okerlund, “You're skirting the issue. Hulk Hogan let you down. He should be here!”
Sting, “Gene, that’s our business. We’ll deal with it behind closed doors.”
Okerlund, “Alright, we have a main event, but Tony, Bobby, Ric, there is trouble brewing for these three.”

Scott Norton (Champion) vs. Diamond Dallas Page w/Kimberly
Norton defeated Page for the Title. Page injured his knee in that match and has worked his way back. The bell rings and the match begins. Norton uses his strength, and DDP counts with guts. Page rolls up Norton, but Scott kicks out. Norton traps Page in the corner and hammers him. Norton whips Page into the opposite corner. He runs in, but Page sidesteps him. Norton crashes into the turnbuckles. Now Page is in control. The match continues until the time limit expires. Nothing has been settled between these two.

Konnan vs. Psychosis
Psychosis is a high flyer, but Konnan counters with a strong mat game. Konan grounds Psychosis early. Konnan uses his size and strength to punish the masked man. Psychosis escapes and goes to the air, now the youngster has the edge. Konnan rallies again and wins with the tequila sunrise.
Winner-Konnan
Gene Okerlund is with the “Devil’s Triangle” and Madusa.
Okerlund, “With me are, Madusa and the ‘Devil’s Triangle’. Madusa, now you face Sting and Lex Luger, Hulk Hogan is not here.”
Madusa, “He’s a coward Gene! He wants nothing to do with Vader, or Sid, or me! We know that Sting, and Luger have guts, no brains, but guts! When they pick the men to wrestle for the US, and World Title, my men will be there!”

Big Van Vader and Sid Vicious w/Madusa and Bam Bam Bigelow vs. Sting and Lex Luger
Vader and Vicious have Madusa and Bam Bam at ringside. That could be the difference. Sid and Luger open the contest. They lock up, and Sid grabs a side headlock. Luger shoots Sid into the ropes and drops him with a shoulder tackle. Luger goes to work on Sid’s arm. Sid works his way to his feet and tags in Vader. The monster from the Rocky Mountains lets out a bellow. He and luger lock up. Vader drives the heel of his hand into Lex’s chin. Luger staggers. He is able to tag in Sting. The man with the face paint he steps through the ropes and let’s out a scream. He locks up with Vader. Sting takes Vader off his feet. The big man is less effective on the mat. The match continues going back and forth. Both teams have their chances. It’s Sting and Sid in the ring. Skd is on the run. They are near the ropes. Sid tosses Sting over the top rope. Referee Nick Patrick calls for the bell. While Sting is on the floor, Bigelow and Madusa both put the boots to him. In the ring, Sid and Vader work over Luger. They toss him to the floor. Madusa and Bigelow enter the ring. Sting and Luger lie on the floor.

Schiavone, “Sting and Luger were simply outnumbered!”
Heenan, “I told them not to trust Hogan!”
Flair, “Remember, “Ole did something like to the ‘Horsemen’, you saw what we did!”
Schiavone, “Fans, we will be in Little Rock, AR next week. We have an ‘International Lucha Trios Match’, and I know we will talk about Hulk Hogan!”
