Tony Schiavone and Bobby Heenan open the show.
Schiavone, “Welcome to the Omni, and Superbrawl VII! Brain, WCW is back on pay per view. We are at the beautiful Omni, and we have an exciting program scheduled.”
Heenan, “Schiavone, the biggest names in wrestling are here tonight, and two of the dumbest. Sting and Luger trust Hogan, that’s a big mistake!”
Schiavone, “You’ve made that point clearly. Let’s talk about what we will see. Scott Norton and Diamond Dallas Page meet for the World TV Title. Jushin ‘Thunder’ Liger and Rey Mysterio battle for the International Lucha Title. We have a ‘Four Corners’ tag team title match, and the big six man elimination match.”
Heenan, “I want to see Scott Norton. I think Page is going to end up like a bug on a windshield.”
Schiavone, “Let’s get things underway. Dave Penzer will introduce a rookie wrestler, with a lot of promise, Bill Goldberg.”
Match #1
Bill Goldberg vs. Charlie Norris
Schiavone tells us Goldberg is a former Georgia Bulldog, and Atlanta Falcon. He overwhelms Norris. He spears him and wins with a jackhammer.

Ice Train vs. Marcus Alexander Bagwell
The massive Ice Train takes on the popular Bagwell. Marcus uses hit and run tactics. Ice Train traps Bagwell in the corner. He uses his size to punish Bagwell. Marcus fights his way out. The match goes back and forth. Bagwell traps Ice Train in a sleeper, and he is out.

Ultimo Dragon and Konan vs. Psychosis and Juventud Guerrera
We have a “Lucha” tag team match here. The crowd is behind Konan and the Dragon. Ultimo Dragon opens the match with Psychosis. Psychosis takes to the air. He looks very good, and the Dragon is in retreat. Psychosis hits a dropkick and Dragon is down. Psychosis goes for the cover, but Dragon kicks out. Dragon gets to his feet, and mounts a comeback. Psychosis tags in Guerrera. Juventud goes after the Dragon. He uses his unique style to control the action. Konnan tags in and goes to work. He uses his roughhouse style to punish Guerrera. Konan applies the Tequila sunrise, and Guerrera submits.

Tony Schiavone and Bobby Heenan are at the announce position.
Schiavone, “Things are off to a fast start. We’re about to speed things up. In the ring is a man returning to WCW, ‘Mean’ Gene Okerlund!”
Gene Okerlund is in the ring.
Okerlund, “Thank you Tony. It’s great to be back in WCW. It’s also great to be back in Atlanta, where I can enjoy some Southern fried weasel! You know, WCW has a long history, and one of the most important men has been missing. Well, that’s going to change tonight. My guest is,…’The Nature Boy’, Ric Flair!”
We hear,
And the “Nature Boy” comes to the ring. He climbs through the ropes, goes into his strut, and the crowd goes crazy.
Okerlund, “‘Nature Boy, welcome back!”
Flair, “Meeeeeeeaaaaaaan Gennnnnnnnne!! The Nature Boy is back! When WCW came back, I still had the bad shoulder, it’s healing! In about two weeks, I’ll be ready to go...all night long ladies, and 60 minutes in the ring! I hear they’re looking for a World Champion, well, that’s my belt, and I’m coming to get it back, and I’ll do it! Wooooooooo!”
Okerlund, “The Nature Boy is back!”
Tony Schiavone, and Bobby Heenan are at the announce position.
Schiavone, “Brain, the Nature Boy looks good.”
Heenan, “He sure does. You know, I used to manage him, I wonder what he pays today?”
Schiavone, “I don’t know Brain. Our next match features a newcomer that we saw last week. A man from the wilds of Canada, Wolf Hawkfield.”

Wolf Hawkfield vs. Cobra
The man from Canada comes to the ring. He looks very impressive with red face paint. He takes the fight right to Cobra. Hawkfield is very sharp. He uses power moves and moves very quickly. Cobra mounts a comeback, but Wolf is too much. He hits a move he calls the cyber spear. He covers Cobra, and referee Randy Anderson counts three.

Shane Douglas vs. Jeff Jarrett
These two young stars have met twice, and are 1-1. Jarrett will try to wrestle, Douglas will go the roughhouse route. The bell rings and both men circle one another. They lock up. Douglas backs Jarrett into the ropes. Referee Nick Patrick calls for the break. Douglas slaps Jarrett across the face. Jarrett fires back with rights, and lefts. Douglas made a mistake. He rolls out of the ring to regroup. He returns and the action continues. Both men get two counts, but can’t get the three. Finally, Jarrett goes to work on Douglas’s knee. He slaps on the figure four, and Douglas submits.

International Lucha Championship
Jushin “Thunder” Liger vs. Rey Mysterio
The International Lucha Title is on the line. We have a clash of styles with the man from Japan vs. the high flying Mexican. Both men have great respect for each other. They shake hands, and the match is underway. The match is fast paced, to say the least. Liger controls the early action. His experience, and size help him. He gets a two count, but Mysterio kicks out. Mysterio now takes to the air. He hits several high risk moves, and he gets a two count. Both men pull out all stops. Liger goes for the Liger bomb, but Mysterio catches him in a cradle! Referee Randy Anderson counts the fall. Rey Mysterio is the International Lucha Champion. WCW President James J. Dillon is in the ring, and presents the Title to Rey. Liger is on his feet and he and Liger shake hands. The International Lucha Division has arrived.

Tony Schiavone and Bobby Heenan are in the announce position.
Schiavone, “Brain, That was fantastic! The International Lucha Division is going to be the talk of the wrestling world!”
Heenan, “I’ve been in this sport for 20 years, and I have never seen some of these moves. You are going to have to keep an eye on this. They impressed me, and that's not easy.”
Schiavone, “The Brain is impressed, now I’m impressed.. It looks like things are sorted out in the ring. Lee Marshall is with James J. Dillon. Mr. Dillon has a big announcement to make.”
Gene Okerlund and James J. Dillon are in the ring.
Okerlund,, “With me is, my long time, personal friend, WCW President James J. Dillon. Mr. Dillon, that was some match.”
Dillon, “The match was exciting, I have never seen anything like that.”
Okerlund, “Your original reason for this interview was to make two big announcements. The floor is yours.”
Dillon, “Thank you Gene. We have filled one Championship tonight, and will fill two more later. That will leave us with two more to fill, the United States Title, and the WCW World Championship. Those two are the oldest, and most prestigious in our company, and I can now announce how they will be filled. On April 24, WCW will present our next pay per view. We will be at Reunion Arena in Dallas, TX for ‘Spring Stampede’. The Championship Committee will choose two men to wrestle for the United States Title, and two to meet for the World Title. Dallas has always been a great wrestling city, and I can’t wait for this one.”
Okerlund, “Fans, remember that date, April 24, ‘Spring Stampede’!”

World Television Championship
Diamond Dallas Page w/Kimberly vs. Scott Norton
Diamond Dallas, with the lovely Kimberly, makes his way to the ring. Scott Norton is waiting. Jack Doane is your referee. The bell rings and we are underway. Norton grabs a wristlock. He is capable of breaking a wrist, or an arm with this hold. Page shoots Norton into the ropes and goes for a shoulder tackle. Norton doesn’t budge. Norton scoops up Page and slams him. Kimberly looks worried as Norton goes for a cover. Page kicks out. He throws caution to the wind. Page brawls with the bigger, and stronger Norton. Page goes to the second rope. High risks moves are not usually Page’s M.O. He goes a kneedrop, but Norton rolls away. Page is injured. Norton takes over. Page fight valiantly, but the knee injury is too much. Norton lands a powerslam, and covers Page. Doane counts 1...2...3! Scott Norton is the TV Champion. Kimberly checks on Page as Norton holds up the title.

World Tag Team Championship
Four Corners Match
The Steiner Brothers vs. The Faces of Fear vs. Public Enemy vs. Harlem Heat
Two men will be in the ring at a time. You may tag in anyone, and you may not pin your partner. Lots were drawn in the back and Meng and Rocco Rock start. Meng attacks. Rocco fights back and we are underway. Meng backs Rock into his corner and begins to choke him. The Barbarian gets in a few shots, and then Meng tags him in. Rocco is able to tag in Scott Steiner. He nad the Barbarian lock up. This is a battle of big vicious men. The match continues and Stevie Ray tags in. Now Harlem Heat is involved. Stevie whips Johnny Grunge into the ropes, and back drops him to the mat. Stevie goes for an elbow drop, but Grunge moves. He tags in Rick Steiner. Now it’s a Steiner vs. Harlem Heat. They lock up. Steiner gets the better of things. This brings Booker T in, which in turn, leads to Scott Steiner entering, and soon we have eight men in the ring. Referee Randy Anderson tries to control the action. He gets things sorted out. The action continues until Scott Steiner and Johnny Grunge are in the ring. Scott tags Rick, and the hit the Steiner bulldog. Rick covers Grunge and Anderson counts the fall! The Steiner Brothers are the World Tag Team Champions!
Winners-The Steiner Brothers (New World Tag Team Champions)
Tony Schiavone and Bobby Heenan are in the Announce position.
Schiavone, “A great win for the Steiner Brothers!”
Heenan, “It was, but why does Rick wear earmuffs?”
Schiavone, “Now, the main event. Madusa has put together one of the most dangerous threesomes in the sport. On the other side, two long time friends, Sting and Lex Luger, and the biggest name in the sport, Hulk Hogan.”
Heenan, “Sting and Luger can’t trust Hogan, I’m sure of that.”
Schiavone, “It’s time to find out.”
Match #9
Six Man, Elimination, Tag Team Match
The Devil’s Triangle w/Madusa vs. Lex Luger, Sting and Hulk Hogan
This is the big one. Nick Patrick is your referee. He has his hands full, to say the least. When a man is defeated’ by pinfall, disqualification, or count out, he must return to the back. The bell rings and it’s Vader and Sting in the ring. Sting is more athletic, but Vader is a monster. Sting starts fast. He hits and runs, and Vader is frustrated. He finally traps Sting and goes to work on him. Vader tags in Bigelow. Bam Bam hammers away on Sting. The Stinger is desperate. He escapes and tags in Hogan. The Hulkster is in the ring. Hogan goes to work on Bigelow. The Hulkster is in top form. Bigelow tags in Sid Vicious. Hogan and Vicious eye one another. They lock up. Hogan takes over, and works over Sid with a headlock. Hulk tags in Luger, and the total package continues the attack. Luger tries to get Sid up in the torture rack, but he can’t, and it seems he injures his back. Sid sees an opening. He powerbombs Luger and covers him for the fall. Lex Luger has been eliminated.
First Elimination-Lex Luger
The action continues. Madus looks very confident. Hogan and Vader square off. The two big men exchange blows, and neither takes a backwards step. Vader tags in Bam Bam, and he tries his hand with Hogan. The action is fast and furious. Sting tags in. Sting and Bam Bam end up brawling on the floor. Patrick counts, and reaches 10. Both men have been counted out, Hulk Hogan is alone!
Second and Third Eliminations-Sting and Bam Bam Bigelow
Now Hogan is in a two on one situation. Vader tries his hand first. Madusa continues to shout instructions. Hogan is ready for the big man from Colorado. He matches him blow for blow. Vader is frustrated and tags in Sid. Sid and Hogan go at it again. Hogan is able to whip Sid into the ropes and drop him with a big boot. He lands the legdrop for the win. Now it’s one on one.
Fourth Elimination-Sid Vicious
Now, Madusa looks worried. It’s Hogan vs. Vader. Hogan looks confident. He and Vader lock up. Vader dives a thumb to Hogan’s throat. Vader pounds away with big rights and lefts. Hogan is in trouble. Vader scoops him up and slams him to the mat. Vader goes for the Vader bomb. Hogan rolls out of the way. Vader crashes to the mat. Hogan pulls him to his feet, whips him onto the ropes, and drops Vader with a big boot. Hogan then hits the legdrop, and covers Vader. Patrick counts 1...2...3! Hogan wins! Sting and Luger return to the ring to celebrate with Hogan.

Schiavone, “Hulk Hogan is back, and he looks great!”
Heenan, “And he hogged the spotlight. Sting and Luger are making a big mistake.”
Schiavone, “We will see. Don’t miss Monday Nitro tomorrow night. We will be at the Georgia Mountain Center in Gainesville. We will have all the fallout from tonight’s action.”
