Tony Schiavone and Bobby Heenan open the show.
Schiavone, “Welcome to Greenville, SC, and welcome to 1997! Brain, we returned with a bang last week.”
Heenan, “That was a great show last week, and this week looks even better. We’re going to find out who is stupid enough to team with Luger and Sting.”
Schiavone, “Well, that’s your opinion. We will talk about Superbrawl VII. James J. Dillon will be here to talk about the United States, and World Titles. Our main event will be, Scott Steiner taking on Booker T, and as the ‘Brain’ says, Lex Luger and Sting will announce their partner for the six man match at Superbrawl. Let’s go to the ring.”
Match #1
Scott Norton vs. Chris Kanyon
Young Chris Kanyon is a great young wrestler. Scott Norton has qualified for the TV Title match at Superbrawl. Kanyon is very aggressive, and Norton is taken aback. Kanyon whips Norton into the corner and runs in. Norton sidesteps him, and Kanyon crashes into the turnbuckles. Now Norton takes over. He hits a powerslam for the win.

Jeff Jarrett vs. Joe Gomez
Jeff Jarrett returns to WCW. He is a great young wrestler, and Gomez will be a good test. Jarrett takes the fight to Gomez. He goes for a sleeper, but Gomez gets to the ropes. Jarrett hits the side Russian legsweep, and covers Gomez for the win.

Tony Schiavone and Bobby Heenan are at the announce desk.
Schiavone, “Brain, last week, we saw the debut of the ‘International Lucha Division’. We saw moves that were so incredible, they defied description.”
Heenan, “Maybe for you, but I’m on top of this. The big move we saw last week was the Tijuana Twister, this week, we are going to see the Yucatan Yahoo.”
Schiavone, “Thanks Brain. Let’s see tag team action.”
Match #3
Konnan and Rey Mysterio vs. Psychosis and Juventud Guerrera
This will be a fast, and hard hitting. Konan and Psychosis open the match. Konan has the size advantage and uses it. He punishes Psychosis. Konan slams him, and goes for a cover. Guerrera comes and breaks up the count. Rey joins the action and we have a pier six brawl. Referee Randy Anderson gets things sorted out. Mystero tags in, as does Juventud. The action goes back and forth. Rey hits a flying bodypress for the win.

Jushin “Thunder” Liger vs. Ciclope
Ciclope is one of the top “Rudos” is Mexico. He jumps Liger before the bell. He slam Liger’s head into the turnbuckles. Liger is stunned. Ciclope slams Liger, but can’t get the three count. Liger takes over from there. He whips Ciclope into the ropes and hits a flying bodypress. Ciclope kicks out at two, but the momentum is on Liger’s side. He hits the Liger driver for the win.

Madusa and the Devil’s Triangle are in the interview area.
Madusa, “Lex Luger, Sting, look at these three! Big Van Vader, Sid Vicious and Bam Bam Bigelow, the ‘Devil’s Triangle’, how can you challenge us? You say you’re going to find a third man, no way! Who wants to be destroyed by the ‘Devil’s Triangle’? We are going to take you apart piece by piece, first this new guy, then Luger, and then Sting, we will make you suffer, and then we will end your career!”

Big Van Vader w/Madusa vs. George South
This is all Vader. He toys with South. He covers him, but pulls him up. Referee Jack Doane warns him. Finally, he uses the Vader bomb for the win.

Marcus Alexander Bagwell vs. Shane Douglas
This should be a good one. Bagwell comes out fast, and the Greenville crowd is behind him. Bagwell slams Douglas and covers him, but they are too close to the ropes, and Shane gets a foot on the bottom rope. Bagwell tries to whip Douglas into the ropes, but Shane reverses it. He clotheslines Bagwell. Douglas now is in control. He roughs up Bagwell and hits the Pittsburgh plunge for the win.

Schiavone, “With us WCW Commissioner James J. Dillon. Mr. Dillon, last week, you announced that the World Television Title would be decided at Superbrawl VII. Diamond Dallas Page, and Scott Norton will meet for the Title. We also know that the World Tag Team Title will be decided in a ‘Four Corners Match’ involving the Steiner Brothers, Public Enemy, the Faces of Fear, and Harlem Heat. So, we know about two of the Titles. What else can you tell us?”
Dillon, “Tony, those are two very prestigious titles. Great wrestlers have held both of the,. With that said, the two most prestigious titles in World Championship Wrestling are the United States Championship, and the World Championship. The list of men who have held those titles is a virtual who’s who of the sport. The ‘Championship Committee’ have held several meetings to discuss how these title openings should filled. As much as we want to fill these titles, we don't want to make a hasty decision. The Committee has decided this. Both titles will be filled on April 21, at our ‘Spring Stampede’ pay per view at Reunion Arena in Dallas, TX. Over the next several weeks, we will be reviewing matches, and film of wrestlers from all over the world. The combatants will be announced prior to that event.”
Schiavone, “That is an exciting announcement. Brain, what do you think?”
Heenan, “You know all the best wrestlers in the world will want a chance at both of those titles. The competition will be intense. I want to offer my services to anyone who wants to compete for those title. Give me a call, and we will discuss my fees.”
Schiavone, “I am sure the fee will be reasonable. Now, back to the action. Our main event is next. Scott Steiner will take on Booker T. Remember, the Steiner Brothers and Harlem Heat are two of the four teams set for the ‘Four Corners Match’ at Superbrawl VII. After this match, Lex Luger and Sting will be here to announce the third man for their team in the wix man match against the ‘Devil’s Triangle’.”
Match #7
Booker T w/Stevie Ray vs. Scott Steiner w/Rick Steiner
Harlem Heat and the Steiners are two of the teams slated to be in the “Four Corners Match” at Superbrawl VII. Booker T. and Scott Steiner will be a hard hitting match. The early moments go back and forth. Both men get two counts, but neither man can finish off his opponent. Things begin to go in Booker’s direction. He lands a side kick and Steiner goes down. Booker goes for the cover, but Steiner kicks out before referee Nick Patrick can count three. Scott is desperate, and he wrestles like it. He takes the fight to Booker. Now Scott is control. Stevie Ray grabs a chair, and climbs up on the ring apron. Rick starts to do the same. Patrick sees this, and stops him. That allows Stevie to smash the chair into Scott’s back. He goes down and Booker T covers him. Patrick turns to count 1...2...3! Booker T. gets the win.

Tony Schiavone and Bobby Heenan are at the desk.
Schiavone, “Brain, that was a travesty!”
Heenan, “The biggest question is wrestling is, who is the dumber Steiner? I think it’s a tie.”
Schiavone, “I don’t think we've heard the last of this. Now it’s time for the big announcement. When we come back, Lex Luger and Sting will be in the ring.”
We come back and Lex Luger and Sting are in mid-ring.
Luger, “Before we announce our partner, we have a challenge to make. We want this match to be an elimination match. We want to take out the ‘Devil’s Triangle’ piece by piece. Now, I’ll turn things over to Sting.”
Sting, “Owwwwwwwwwww! Madusa, ‘Triangle’, your night is about to get a whole lot worse! We know how good you are. We know how vicious you are. We know we need a partner who can hold his own, and here he is!”
We hear,
Hulk Hogan comes down the aisle!
Schiavone, “Brain, it’s Hulk Hogan!”
Heenan, “Oh no! Oh no!”
Hogan climbs into the ring and high fives Luger and Sting.
Hogan, “‘Devil’s Triangle’, what ‘cha gonna do when ‘Hulkamania’, ‘Lugermania’, and ‘Stingmania’ runs wild over you! When these two asked me to help, I said, any time! Superbrawl VII, elimination match, Madusa, we’re coming for you!”
Schiavone, “Brain, Hulk Hogan, Lex Luger and “Sting” together!”
Heenan, “Look, I don’t like Luger, or Sting, but I’m going to tell them something. Be careful what you wish for, you might just get it.”
