Tonight on ECW's second anniversary we'll be presenting you an amazing star-filled card where once again almost every Title here at Eastern Championship will be on the line! In this exciting night of non-stop action we will witness the "Macho Man" Randy Savage face off against his lifelong nemesis "The Immortal" Hulk Hogan! A Women's Championship Match which will see "Mad Dog" Luna Vachon defend her Title againster returning former Women's Champ "Miss Texas" Jacqueline Moore! The Tag-Team Titles will be on the line as The Baron Von Raschke's Tag Champions The Ubermensch take on the team of Dustin Rhodes and Tommy Dreamer! And that's not all, as "The Ring Master" Matt Borne looks for both revenge and the Eastern States Championship when he squares off against Sir William Regal!
"The Long Island Loud-Mouth" Chris Jericho will meet his mysterious stalker in a match where the Inter-Promotional Championship will be on the line! And with no belts in the line, with nothing but inflicting pain on their enemes at stake; Steve Corino's Omega Horsemen will do battle with the men who rewrote the rules of this sport when they get into a steel cage with The Four Horsemen! It's War Games!
And finally in tonight's monstrous Main Event; ECW Champ "Ravishing" Rick Rude will be challenged by the evil "Soul Stealer" Papa Shango for the Eastern Heavyweight Championship! He also thanks those viewers at home tuning in on Pay Per View. He says that the fans are what has made his dream, Eastern Championship such a success this year. And he'd like to says thanks to everyone here on ECW's second anniversary. And what better way to celebrate a birthday? Than with presents? Just then "You're the Best Around" by Joe Esposito hits and out from the back explodes...Gertner: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and is for the Inter-Promotional Championship! Introducing at this time weighing in at 227 lbs. from Manhasset, New York; he is the Inter-Promotional Champion; "The Long Island Loud-Mouth" Chris Jericho!Chris Jericho heads down to the ring while Gene and Lanny discuss this man's journey over the past year. A journey that started when ECW President Eric Bischoff met blowhard baseball player Pete Rose on Late Night with Conan O'Brien; a man who accepted a challenge to face anyone of Bischoff's chosing. And that man was "Mr. Wednesday Night" Rob Van Dam. "The Long Island Loud-Mouth" wasn't happy with that decision however and persuaded Eric to give him a match against RVD with the winner going on to face Rose. A match he went on to win. And not only did he defeat Pete Rose at ECW's next big event King of the Mountain, but also Lawrence Taylor at the one that followed; Hardcore Heaven. From there he went on to defeat challengers wherever they could be found, including Steven Petrisino is a drinking contest, Jimmy Connors in a tennis match; and even George Foreman in a cook off. He found continued success defeating challengers from various promotions including AAA's Cien Caras, ACW's Wolf Hawkfield, WWWA's Mistuhiro Matsunaga, WWC's Carlos Colon; and even the WWF's own "Immortal" Hulk Hogan.
Throughout this string of successes, one challenger has eluded him. One man has kept to the shadows; attacking Chris Jericho at every turn. Embarrassing him at every opportunity since August; including no-selling him at Old School Rules after leading "The Loud-Mouth" to believe he was Sting. This man has continued to be a thorn in the side of the Inter-Promotional Champion Chris Jericho month after month. And his identity has remained secret. That is until tonight. For ECW President Eric Bischoff has met with this man's lawyers. And he is bound to either show his face tonight or pay a staggering fine of $10,000,000 in damages!Chris Jericho is inside the ring with the Inter-Promotional Title thrown over his shoulder after taking the mic from Joel Gertner. He tells us that his mystery date is correct. He has stepped on the backs of alot of other people to get where he is today. And he doesn't care. He's proud of it in fact. What he does care about however? Is this whining, sniveling stalker following him around like some sort of deranged puppy. So it's about time to put up or shut up. He wants to know who the hell it is and he wants to know now!
Chris gets his wish.
And his eyes bug out of his head when "Perfect Strangers" by Deep Purple plays and on the ramp appears a man that Jericho seems to recognize wearing a black trenchcoat and sunglasses . Gertner chuckles at Chris' stunned face as he snatches the microphone back.
Gertner: And introducing his challenger at this time representing World Championship Wrestling! Weighing in at 234 lbs. from Montreal, Quebec, Canada he is "The Canadian Crippler" Chris Benoit!Inter-Promotional Title Match: Chris Jericho (c) vs. Chris Benoit
Chris Benoit wastes no time in charging down to the ring and slides in. Chris Jericho doesn't seem to know what to do and attempts to stomp out his challenger before he can get up; but Benoit launches to his feet and hammers Jericho down to the mat with a clothesline! As Chris begins assaulting the downed "Long Island Loud-Mouth" Okerlund tells us that he just received word of the already storied rivalry between these two men that started with their time training together in the Hart Dungeon in Calgary, Alberta, Canada and has moved from promotion to promotion since; spanning three different continents.
Inside the ring "The Canadian Crippler" still has the upperhand as Chris Jericho tries to regain his senses and his foot while Benoit clubs his head and back before running him into the steel ringpost! As Jericho stumbles back into the ring, his opponent grabs him from behind, pops his hips and lets him have it with a suplex! It could all be over as Benoit makes the cover! 1!... 2!...
Jericho kicks out! This is a mistake according to Lanny and Chris Benoit makes it look that way as he knees "The Long Island Loud-Mouth" with several knees to the face as he pulls him up to his feet by his hair, only to lay him out with a sit-out powerbomb! He makes the cover! 1!... 2!...
Jericho kicks out again! While Chris Benoit continues brutalizing Chris Jericho, Lanny and Gene discuss the last time we saw "The Crippler" in an ECW ring back at Hardcore Heaven on May 2nd where Benoit and Tommy Dreamer were the final participants in a Hardcore Battle Royal. A match which arguably was the bloodiest in Eastern Championship history. And Chris Jericho is down again following a pendulum neckbreaker! Benoit seems to find it amusing when Jericho refuses to stay down and attempts to crawl to his feet. He locks in the Crippler Crossface! This has gotta be it! There is no way a human can enure this much punishment!
Chris grits his teeth and screams in agony as he slowly crawls the short distance to the ropes! And he makes it! Referee S.D. Jones has to pull Benoit off to break the hold and things nearly come to blows. Chris returns to mauling Jericho, but L.I. Chris surprises him with a kick to the gut! His hair is a mess and he looks winded, but Chris Jericho is rallying back! He hits several chops before falling back and leaping through the air to connect with a springboard bulldog! Benoit goes down hard and "The Loud-Mouth" hooks the leg! 1!
Benoit kicked out at 1! Chris Jericho is back on his feet and looking like he is running on empty as he slowly stomps his challenger, but he summons the strength to run the ropes and goes for the springboard moonsault! But he eats a gut full of knees!! "The Crippler" is back up as Chris Jericho rolls about the floor kicking and screaming that his tummy hurts! Benoit is having a good laugh at this and hauls Jericho up for a front powerslam to shut him up. He then makes the throat slitting motion and heads up top! He's going for the flying headbutt!
But Chris Jericho is back up and charging the corner, he knocks Chris Benoit off the top and he crotches hims! It's Benoit's turn to grimace in pain as Chris Jericho runs back across the ring and steps up onto the second rope as he connects with a enziguiri kick! Chris Benoit reels back but is still on the top turnbuckle. Chris Jericho falls to his knees, but gets back up and climbs the turnbuckle looking for a superplex!
And it connects! But both men are down. "The Long Island Loud-Mouth" cannout capitalize as S.D. Jones begins the ten count. Slowly it happens, but both men are back up on there feet and in desperation Jericho goes for the lariat! But "The Crippler" ducks it, circles back; pops his hips and connects with a German Suplex! He gets back up still holding Jericho, only to hit another! He's looking to kill the Champ! And he goes for another! Poffo proclaims Chris Jericho dead as Chris Benoit hooks the leg. 1!... 2!...
Chris Jericho kicks out?! What the hell is wrong with him?!! Okerlund is calling for the match to be stopped as "The Loud-Mouth" crawls to his knees and receives chop after chop from Chris Benoit who busts his opponent open! Jericho is gushing blood and "The Crippler" grabs him by the face, jabbing his stubby thumbs into the wound! The ref tries to stop him, but is pushed away. Benoit stops however and pulling Chris Jericho up to his feet again gets rolled up! Small package! Small package! 1!... 2!...
Benoit kicks out! And now he's stomping on Jericho again! But the Loud-Mouth manages to trip "The Canadian Crippler" up sending him stumbling into the corner and L.I. Chris is up on his feet charging right after him! He leaps up, grabs Canada Chris' head and connects with a double knee facebreaker! Or does he? No! Chris Benoit has blocked it and caught Chris Jericho in mid-air! He's setting him up for something! He backs up onto the second rope and connects with a vicious kneeling belly to belly piledriver! There's no way Chris Jericho is getting up after that!
And there isn't. Chris Benoit picks up the win! There's a new Inter-Promotional Champion! S.D. Jones hands Benoit his Title which he looks at with disdain before walking off, leaving Chris Jericho a bloody mess in the ring. "The Loud-Mouth" begins to stir just in time to see Chris Benoit hoists the Title in the air over his head before... dropping it into a grarbage can?! This sets Jericho off screaming, but the triumphant Chris Benoit just grins and walks off.
Jericho throws a hissy fit in the ring as the announcers question Benoit's actions regarding the Title. Okerlund says that "The Crippler" has no respect for the business and is just out to hurt people. They then begin discussing the next match of the night.First up they talk about the Tag-Team Champions The Ubermensch who won the Titles from the longest reigning Champs in ECW history when they beat The Lawlers at Old School Rulz back on September 26th. Since then aided by their manager The Baron Von Raschke they've dominated the Tag division, holding the belts by any means necessary. They then talk about Tommy Dreamer and Dustin Rhodes, who first started teaming together in a vicious feud against former Tag Champs Destruction Inc. They talk about the tournament that led them here in which they shut down Sex & Violence, The New Orient Express; and finally The Lawlers on their climb to the top. Both these teams are a force to be reckoned with and deserve to be here tonight; but only one of them will walk away with the gold.
Gertner: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and is for the Tag-Team Championships! Introducing first the challengers weighing in at a combined total of 488 lbs., they "The Innovator of Violence" Tommy Dreamer and "The American Nightmare" Dustin Rhodes!
Both men are wearing leather jackets with the American flag on the back as they head down to the ring. They share a drink from Rhodes' flask, offering a sip to referee Danny Davis who refuses the offer as "Ich tu der weh" by Rammstein hits announcing the arrival of...
Gertner: And now introducing the Tag-Team Champions weighing in at a combined 576 lbs. and accompanied to the ring by their manager the Baron Von Raschke; hailing from The Republic of Germany; The Ubermensch Aryan Von Raschke and The Blitzkrieg!Tag-Team Title Match: The Ubermensch (c) vs. Tommy Dreamer & Dustin Rhodes The fans are solidly behind Tommy Dreamer however as he starts things off with Aryan von Raschke. The younger Von Raschke is cocky and taunts Dreamer while playing keep away, but eventually Tommy gets fed up and charges across the ring driving Aryan back into the ropes where he hits him with a hard right hand before whipping him across the ring and drops him with a spinning back elbow. He growls triumphantly for the crowd before delivering an elbow drop and then pulls Von Raschke to a seated position traps him in a rear chinlock. Aryan struggles in the move for a bit, but battles his way out and back up on his feet begins trading punches with "The Innovator of Violence." The two men battle back and forther for a bit before Dreamer traps Aryan in a front headlock and getting the crowd behind him, turns about and hits a running bulldog. He then heads up top and leaps off! But comes crashing down on his ass when Aryan Von Raschke rolls free of the leg drop. And when Tommy bounces back up to his feet he gets kicked in the guy and planted with a lifting DDT! Von Raschke makes the cover! 1!... 2!...
Tommy kicks out! Aryan begins flambouyantly putting the boots to him, but Dreamer manages to catch Aryan's foot and throw him off balance. As one half of the Champs staggers back Dreamer treats him to an inverted atomic drop before hooking his head and hitting a vertical suplex! He floats over with the cover! 1!... 2!
Aryan kicks out! Tommy pounces on his opponent immediately and begins hammering away with hard rights and lefts before knocking him flat with a headbutt! He makes a quick cover! 1!... t-
Von Raschke pushes Dreamer off him and rakes his eyes! Getting to his feet he knees "The Innovator" in the gut, clubs his back, runs the ropes; and plants him face first into the canvas with a jumping leg lariat! He hooks the leg! 1!... 2!.. Dustin Rhodes comes running in to make the save! But this brings in The Blitzkrieg! Tommy Dreamer gets up to his feet as his partner is pummeled and in the confusion scoops Aryan up for a backbreaker over his knee! And the cover! 1!... 2!..
Davis is distracted when someone grabs his foot! It's The Baron Von Raschke! Tommy Dreamer is frustrated and pulls Aryan up to his feet looking for a powerbomb whil the ref argues with The Baron. Aryan rolls over Tommy's shoulders however and spins him about and flattens him with the Seig Heil! Superkick! He then clutches at his head and stumbles to his corner where he tags in "Mangler's Monster" The Blitzkrieg!
Dustin Rhodes is sprawled out on the floor from his run in with the big man as The Blitzkrieg enters the ring and begins battering on Tommy Dreamer who's just gotten back up to his feet. He grabs "The Innovator" up by the throat and The Chokeslam from Berlin connects! Lanny suggests Dreamer should just stay down now. But Tommy kicks out just before the three and "The Monster" gives us all a surprise when he locks in the crossface chickenwing; driving his knee deep into his opponent's back! Tommy screams in pain and it looks like Davis is begging for him to submit when into the ring charges Dustin Rhodes who leaps over Dreamer's head and sends The Blitzkrief reeling back with a dropkick!
Dustin checks on Dreamer for a moment before the two men follow "Mangler's Monster" in and drop him over the top rope to the floor below with a double clothesline! The fans begin cheering the duo as The Monster hits the floor below. It takes The Blitzkrieg a bit of time to get back up, but he slides in at 5. Dustin Rhodes who's now the legal man springs on him and topples the giant again, this time with a Tornado DDT! He makes the cover! 1!... 2!...
The Blitzkrieg hurls "The American Nightmare" through the air as he powers out hard! Back on his feet, The Blitzkrieg is limping, obviously having hurt his leg from the drop out of the ring. Dustin is quick to take advantage of this and hits the wounded limb with a dropkick that sends the big man down to one knee. Back up on his own feet, Dustin Rhodes begins beating on "Mangler's Monster;" but the masked man is fighting right back and even without a leg is getting the better of Rhodes as he thunders hom punch after massive punch! Dustin sees this is a losing battle however and runs the ropes. Only to have them pulled out from under him by The Baron Von Raschke! Dustin tumbles out to the floor where The Baron himself begins stopping him out while The Blitzkrieg tags in his partner Aryan von Raschke!
The Baron however as Dustin Rhodes out on the floor locked in The Brain Claw! Rhodes is screaming in pain as Davis finally sees what is going on and begins yelling at the Baron. Von Raschke however is willing to take a DQ victory for his team and won't let go! Just then however he's clobbered from behind and when he turns in stunned silence he's face to face with..."The American Dream!" Dusty Rhodes is at the Felt Forum! And the crowd is loving it as he charges up and begins beating on the shocked Baron!! This gives Dustin Rhodes enough time to get back up to his feet, but he's soon sent back down to the ground as Aryan Von Raschke launches through the ropes with a tope dive! Both men hit the ground hard, but Aryan is back up first and pulling Dustin to his feet tosses him back into the ring as Danny Davis delivers the count of 4! With both men back in the ring Danny Davis vainly tries to get the Dusty Rhodes and The Baron to stop brawling on the outside, which leads to him not seeing Tommy Dreamer grab a beer bottle from a member of the audience, drink it; and then smash it into The Blitzkrieg's wounded leg! "The Monster" howls in pain and drops down from his corner as Dreamer rolls into the ring where he grabs Aryan Von Raschke and with a recovering Dustin Rhodes nails him with a Double Dose of DDT! Davis orders him from the ring, but the damage is done as Dustin Rhodes makes the cover and gets the 1!2!3!
The fans cheer as Dustin Rhodes and Tommy Dreamer are joined inside the ring by Dusty Rhodes who hands the duo their newly won Titles! The trio share a drink from Dustin's flask as ECW goes to...A very important announcement! Captain Lou Albano informs us that hitting our favorite Video retailer whether it be the wall or Suncoast video is ECW's Greatest Hits volume 5! He then reads off the exciting match listing which includes:5/4/94 - Steve Corino vs. Matt Borne! Before the Omega Horsemen, watch Corino get his ass kicked!

They put over both women who're both two time ECW Women's Champions.
Gertner: The following contest is sheduled for one fall and is for the ECW Women's Championship! Introducing first the challenger from Dallas, Texas; "Miss Texas" herself; Jacqueline Moore!
Jacqueline struts down to the ring and shakes hands with referee S.D. Jones before posing for the fans. The lights then go dark and a spotlight begins randomly circling the arena as circus music plays.
Gertner: And now making her way to the ring hailing from The Other Side of Darkness weighing 140 lbs.; she is the ECW Women's Champion "Mad Dog" Luna Vachon!Women's Championship: Luna Vachon (c) vs. Jacqueline Moore Luna Vachon and Jacqueline Moore are no strangers in the ring and put on a hard hitting match with several nearfalls by both women, the closest coming when "Mad Dog" nailed "Miss Texas" with the Luna Bomb corner slingshot splash. Midway through the match Dink the Clown appeared from beneath the ring and grabbed Jacqueline Moore's leg to prevent her from making the cover following a Tornado DDT she hit on his mistress. Jacqueline proceeded to punt Dink across the ring receiving a nice pop from the crowd for her efforts until she ended up getting schoolboyed by Vachon for the 1!... 2!...
Moore kicked out! The fight continued until Jacqueline Moore ended up hitting a release German Suplex on Luna Vachon which she followed up with a spinning heel kick for the win. "Miss Texas" has won her third ECW Women's Championship!
After the bathroom br-- er match, a video packaged played chronicling "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson's feud with the Omega Horsemen, particularly "Mr. Wrestling" himself Steve Corino. It starts with the night "Macho Man" Randy Savage was about to pin Arn for the Title, when Corino smashed Savage in the head to steal the win. It then shows when The Omega Horsemen debuted attacking Savage, followed by Steve attacking Anderson with a steel chair to draw a DQ. Other highlights show Anderson teaming with Buck Zumhoff and Sex & Violence against all four Horsemen, Anderson and Taylor's victory over The Hardy Boyz at Old School Rulz including the debut of Tully Blanchard in ECW, Barry Windham arriving on the scene along with his defeat of Jason Venom, Arn Anderson challenging Corino's gang to a War Games match; and Steve Corino injuring Scott Taylor when he punt kicked him in the head. The video package ends with Ric Flair arriving in ECW last week, letting out his signature "Woooo!" Once the package ends we're taken in front of the ECW banner where ECW Correspondent Terri Runnels is standing by with Arn Anderson, Tully Blanchard, Barry Windham and... Ric Flair! The Four Horsemen are in Eastern Championship baby! Terri Runnels welcomes Flair to the company. He appreciates the welcome doll. But Ric Flair's not here for the accolades. He's not here for the gold. And he certainly ain't here for the fine women. (though they don't hurt) No, "The 'Natch" is here for one reason only and that's to stick his size 11 shoe up that young welp Steve Corino's scrawny ass. He's here to help his family The Four Horsemen kick ass and takes names. And maybe numbers later (with a wink at Terri) Cause this is a War Games match baby. And nobody, but nobody knows War Games like the Horsemen. Like the Ric Flair. Like the Arn Anderson. Like the Tully Blanchard. And like big Barry Windham. Tonight the Horsemen are gonna wreak havoc all over this arena, you better believe that sister. Woooo!Just then up comes a very smug looking Steve Corino. He's got the Omega Horsemen with him and tells his opponents that he's disappointed. That when "The Enforcer" was bragging about his fourth man, he was hoping to get his hands on someone good... like Paul Roma. Instead he goes and brings in another washed-up has been. A fossil. Someone who was already passed their prime 10 years ago. Hell, four men who've never even won a War Games match! But that's okay, because just like the dinosaurs before them; today him and his boys Jeff and Matt Hardy along with Jason Venom are gonna make the "legendary" Four Horsemen extinct.
Flair's eyes are bugging out of his head and he's turning purple in rage when Arn Anderson steps in and tells Steve Corino that they'll see him in the ring.War Games Match: The Four Horsemen vs. The Omega Horsemen There's some speculation by "Mean" Gene and Lanny about who will start for each team prior to the match. The Four Horsemen obviously have their shit together because Arn Anderson climbs into the cage without any discussion, just a few slaps on the back. He walks about the ring like he owns it and it's obvious he wants Steve Corino to enter first as he goads him on. There's alot of deliberation amongst the Omega Horsemen, but finally "Mr. Wrestling" gives in and enters the cage. He climbs up onto the apron and turns toward the fans, whom he gives the finger as they continue to boo his team.
Corino then promptly hops down out of the cage and Jeff Hardy enters in his place! Jeff taunts the crowd's reaction to this and "The Enforcer" whom he waits for in the opposite ring while Danny Davis locks the cage door. Jeff has no intention of coming to Arn and taunts the former ECW Champion until Arn leaves his ring and enters the other. Hardy's reaction is immediate as he runs over to get a few cheap shots in on Anderson, but they don't halt Arn's momentum for a second and he comes in hammering on Jeff. He has Hardy on the run as he hammers him across the ring into the corner where he calls for a time out. Arn finds this amusing and mocks him. Jeff uses this opportunity to escape to the second ring. Arn comes after him and Jeff gets a few more shots in before going for an Irish whip which Anderson reverses! On the rebound however Jeff Hardy drops "The Enforcer" with a hurracanrana!
Arn stumbles up to his feet only to recieve a standing dropkick from Hardy that sends him back into the ropes. Hardy grabs Arn and whips him across the ring. This time on the rebound it's Arn Anderson who counters instead with a huge DDT planting his opponent in the middle of the ring! Jeff is dazed and attempts to crawl away, but "The Enforcer" keeps right on top of him and helping him to his feet runs him face first into the steel cage! There's two minutes remaining until the next entrant arrives as Arn continues to brutalize Jeff using the cage for a bit. The crowd goes nuts and with Jeff down on the ground busted open Arn Anderson raises his arm victoriously. Which is why he doesn't see Hardy scurry across the ring as he launches at "The Enforcer" with a baseball slide! With Arn down on one knee Jeff reaches into his boot and taking advantage of the no DQ rule pulls out a piece of pipe! Which he clocks AA with!
As Arn hits the ground Jeff begins methodically beating Anderson's legs and shoulders with the weapon. Arn manages to escape by rolling into the adjacent ring, but as he gets to his knees the pursuing Jeff cracks him across the skull with it, busting "The Enforcer" open! Using the pipe, Jeff traps Arn in a rear headlock, grinding the pipe into the wound, but Double AA fights free and clambering to his feet lets him have it with an inverted atomic drop! Jeff falls down on all fours and Anderson grabs the pipe, but when he goes to use it Jeff knees him in the gut and hurries across the ring to go up top! He attempts a diving axe handle; but Arn lets him have it with the pipe in midair and he crashes to the ground hard! Then standing over the prone Hardy, Arn stomps him in the crotch before locking in the figure four! Jeff is in real trouble as he screams in agony, Arn even using the ropes to put on more pressure! When...
The coin is tossed!
And it comes up Omega Horsemen! Matt Hardy wastes no time rushing into the cage to save his brother! He stomps on "The Enforcer" who is forced to let Jeff go as Matt begins pounding on him. Hardy's advantage is only momentary however and once Arn Anderson begins getting hit after hit in, he has Matt on the run like a scolded dog! The bloodied Jeff Hardy is now back on his feet, but the attempted double-teaming fails as Arn hammers away on both Hardy Boyz as the crowd goes nuts! He has their number for a while, but eventually Jeff manages to club Arn from behind and knocking him off balance, sends him down to his knees where the brothers begin to brutalize Double AA, targeting his open wound. They don't let up and continue kicking and punching Anderson whom they throw into the corner and Jeff hits the Whisper in the Wind on! And as Anderson stumbles from the corner, he walks right into the Twist of Fate cutter courtesy of Matt Hardy! The two young men continue stomping Arn out when the time runs out and in comes...
A fired up Tully Blanchard! Tully immediately begins unloading, firing away on the startled Mat and Jeff with punch and chop after chop! Eventually the Hardys recover a bit and grabbing Blanchard, they whip him hard into the corner! When they attempt to keep on im however, he springs back with a double clothesline dropping both men to the floor! Tully stalks both men and as Matt gets up to his feet, Tully hits him with a dropkick! And then treats Jeff to the same! Jeff tumbles through the ropes and into the other ring where Tully follows him and begins wailing on him as Jeff gets up to his knees! Inside the other ring Arn Anderson is now back up and handing Matt Hardy a beating as well! The Hardys spend a good amount of time on the receiving end of an ass kicking before Jeff gets the drop on Blanchard and attempts to run Tully into the cage! Blanchard however blocks it by grabbing the cage! Jeff continues to try, but Tully refuses and countering with a knee to the gut, whips his oppoenent head first into the cage; busting him open wider! The time expires and in comes...
Steve Corino! "Mr. Wrestling"runs right up to Arn Anderson who is busy beating on Matt Hardy in the corner; and pulling him off, spins him about; and smacks the taste out of his mouth! Arn Anderson is not amused. Corino goes wide eyed and shaking his head runs across the ring with "The Enforcer" in hot pursuit! Arn catches him in the corner, but Steve gets a cheap kick to the gut in and tossing Anderson into the corner begins punching him. Arn once again no-sells it and comes after Steve who once again flees in terror. This time Anderson catches Steve Corino and begins strangling the life out of him! Arn's gonna kill him! Corino drops to his knees looking like he's about to pass out and connects with a low blow out of desperation! The Hardy Boyz meanwhile have begun double teaming Tully Blanchard and are beating him up in the next ring. Pulling him to his feet, "Mr. Wrestling" hurls Arn into the steel cage after stomping him out a bit. Steve is enjoying himself using the cage on Anderson and with Tully down Matt sends Jeff to go assist their "fearless" leader. The two men take turns beating on Arn with Steve Corino nailing his rival with a sitout rear mat slam before together the duo mocklingly take Arn Anderson out with a double spike piledriver! Brushing sweat from his face, Corino orders Jeff to go help Matt Hardy do the same to Tully Blanchard! Though Tully puts up a bit of a fight; he ends up on the receiving end of his own move too! The fans are hissing at the Omega Horsemen as they gloat about the ring, kicking the downed Four Horsemen. Thinks look bleak until the arrival of...
Barry Windham! Windham explodes on Jeff Hardy, knocking him through the ropes and into the cage before coming after Steve Corino who wants no part of him. Luckily or "Mr. Wrestling," Matt Hardy is quick to lend a helping hand and the duo momentarily overpower their opponent whom they whip across the ring! On the return however Barry takes them both down hard with a flying double lariat! He then proceeds to pulls Steve Corino to his feet, whips him across the ring and scoop slams him into the canvas! Matt Hardy gets himself flapjacked and when he pops back up, Windham takes his head off with a monstrous big boot! He then sets Barry up for a vertical suplex, but Matt Hardy crawls up from behind and delivers a low blow! Trapping him in the corner Matt and Steve begin double-teaming Barry Windham with punch after punch while in the opposite ring Arn and Tully have poor Jeff Hardy tapped in the Tree of Woe and are kicking him out! With Barry down Steve sends Matt to go help his sibling and attempts to rung Barry head first into the cage. At the last second Windham comes alive however and blocks it! He's coming after Corino who retreats into the corner! In the meanwhile Matt Hardy didn't get such a warm reception and is taking a beating from Arn Anderson while Tully Blanchard keeps Jeff in a world of pain. Barry has Corino trapped in the corner and is up on the second rope hammering his head in as the fans count along! 1! 2! 3! 4! 5! 6! 7! 8! 9! 10! Windham stops (though he doesn't have to), but doesn't let "Mr. Wrestling" go anywhere as he hoists him up onto the top rope and connects with a superplex! Corino doesn't even look to be breathing after that one. The Omega Horsemen are in trouble and Danny Davis is unlocking the cage...
And in comes big Jason Venom! And in an impressive display of power he scoops up Barry Windham and hits the sheer drop-release powerbomb! He then begins stomping him out! Arn Anderson comes to makes the save, but gets hit with the powerbomb too! And when Tully comes to the rescue, it's just more of the same! Venom has layed out all three of the Horsemen! Jason Venom keeps on top of Windham while a tired Jeff Hardy begins battling it out with Arn Anderson who looks ready to drop. Tully Blanchard meanwhile is on the receiving end of an assault from Matt Hardy while Steve Corino seems to be catching his breath in the corner. Gene calls him a chicken shit. The six men battle it out for a good while with Corino eventually helping Venom double-team Windham for a while before moving on to Arn Anderson. Though The Four Horsemen gets a decent amount of offense in, The Omega Horsemen are definitely getting the better of them when the timer runs down and the final entrant arrives...
Woooo! Ric Flair is in the match! And Steve Corino is right there at the cage door to greet him along with big Jason Venom! Flair don't care however and lets loose with the chops! He hits Corino! Then Venom! Then Corino! The Venom! He whips "Mr. Wrestling" across the ring and clotheslines him to the floor! But Jason Venom catches him about the throat! But Flair struggles free and running the ropes comes back with a dropicks that sends Jason Venom into the ropes! Tully Blanchard and Arn Anderson are back and grabbing the big man nail him with a double spike piledriver! Steve Corino looks on in horror while in the other ring the Hardy Boyz crawl to their feet. Ric Flair is strutting about the ring and the crowd is going wild! Woooo! The Hardy Boyz however are going to break up the party! They head up top and go airborne!
But Barry Windham catches Matt Hardy in midair and plants him into the mat with a scoopslam! Tully Blanchard blocks Jeff with a knee to the gut and whipping him into the ropes sets him up with a back body drop from Flair! Wooo! Ric Flair then grabs Steve Corino who looks like a deer in the headlights and runs him toward the other ring, hurling him over both sets of top ropes and crashing into the mat! The Four Horsemen follow him in and Steve Corino is up on his knees begging for mercy! None is given as "The Nature Boy" chops him across the face! "Mr. Wrestling" falls back on his ass and attempts to crawl away, shaking his head the whole time! Ric Flair smirks and grabs him by the legs! He's gonna give Corino the figure four! But Flair stops and tells Arn Anderson to do it instead! He says it's his show! Arn Anderson nods while grinning evilly and takes Steve Corino by the legs and locks it in! Steve Corino is screaming as Arn Anderson brings in the pain with the figur four leglock! And with nowhere to go Steve Corino taps! The Four Horsemen have won it! The fans go nuts as the Horsemen celebrate in the ring with Flair strutting about! The Omega Horsemen slither away defeated.
After the match "Mean" Gene Okerlund and "The Genius" Lanny Poffo begin hyping the next match which is for the Eastern States Championship! They talk about the Champion Sir William Regal first and his time here in ECW where he's dominated the competition at every turn, having defeated Matt Borne previously in a Loser Leaves Town match-up when he was under the guise of Doink the Clown and being the only man to have defeated "Mangler's Monster" The Blitzkrieg. Twice now. What Lanny calls dumb luck; Okerlund says shows the man from Blackpool, England has what it takes to become a future World Champion.
They then discuss "The Ring Master" Matt Borne who recently returned after being fired following the Loser Leaves Town Match with Regal. They talk about his accomplishments here in ECW including having a match against "Macho Man" Randy Savage for the ECW TItle at ECW's first big event King of the Mountain back in '94. ("which he lost" Lanny reminds) And a brutal Loser Leaves Town Match at the first Wrestle Annual against "Iron" Mike Sharpe. ("which he also lost." Thank you Lanny.) Since his return he's set his sights on getting revenge on the Eastern States Champ by stripping him on his Title, aided in this quest by his villainous lackeys in the Circus of Doom.
Gertner: The following contest is set for one fall and is for the Eastern States Championship! Introducing first the challenger straight from The Big Top, wieghing in at 243 lbs. he is "The Ring Master" Matt Borne!
The lights go out and the spotlight scans irradically around the arena while circus music plays for the second time tonight as Matt Borne arrives on the scene with Circus of Doom member Pogo the Clown. Once he's inside the ring with referee S.D. Jones, William Regal appears with his Title around his waist.
Gertner: And now introducing weighing in at 243 lbs. hailing from Blackpool England; he is is the Eastern States Champion; Sir William Regal!Eastern States Championship: William Regal (c) vs. Matt Borne w/ Pogo the Clown Jones starts the match and William Regal locks up with Matt Borne. They grapple a bit, but "The Ring Master" uses his superior strength to hurl Regal back and begins beating on him. After taking several shots to the head, Sir William manages to duck around and hit Borne with a gutwrench suplex! From there he takes over stretching his opponent out with several submission holds. Borne refuses to give in however and fights his way back only to get whipped into the corner where Regal charges in with a clothesline! Borne however gets a big boot up and catches Regal in the face. Hopping up onto the top turnbuckle, Matt Borne leaps off with Regal coming with him, connecting with the Whoopie Cushion seated senton! He makes the cover! 1!... 2!
Regal kicks free! "The Ring Master" keeps on top of him however and works the Eastern States Champ over with clubbing blows and power moves including a front powerslam that gets him another two count. Frustrated as Regal keeps fighting back, Matt Borne hoists the Brit up onto his shoulders and running into the corner hits his signature powerbomb onto the top turnbuckle! He makes the cover again! 1!... 2!
Regal kicks out! Borne is frustrated and hurls William Regal to the outside. While "Maniac" Matt keeps S.D. Jones distracted, Pogo the Clown begins beating on Regal on the outside. William's in real trouble when Pogo the Clown is grabbed from behind, spun about and comes face to face with Canada's Greatest Athlete! "Iron" Mike Sharpe is here?! And he begins hammering on Pogo to little effect; other than allowing Regal to escape. Borne has no idea this has happened until William Regal grabs him from behind and nails him with a German Suplex! He makes the cover but Borne kicks out before the three. The rest of the match is all Regal as he dismantles his opponent. Borne gets a little offense in; but the Champ is a man possessed and stops him at every turn. In the end William Regal hit Matt Borne with a European uppercut that he followed up with the Regal double underhook powerBomb for the win.After the match everyone's friendly neighborhood "Rock 'N Roller" Buck Zumhoff came on with a special announcement! Series 1 & 2 are already available and series 3 will be announced soon!In preparation for the next match of the night Gene and Lanny talk about the decade long rivalry between the "Macho Man" Randy Savage and "The Immortal" Hulk Hogan starting and throughout their days in the WWF. They then send us to a video package.
The video has promos of both Savage and Hogan giving their side to the same story as footage plays showcasing their rivalry here at ECW, starting with "The Hulkster" coming to Old School Rulz with his family to enjoy the show only to be insulted by Chris Jericho. They also show Savage's return to ECW at Old School Rulz where he prevented then Champ "Mr. Wrestling" Steve Corino from cheating "Ravishing" Rick Rude of his shot at the Title by coming to his aide when the Omega Horsemen attacked him. It moves on from there showing Hogan looking for some payback against Chris Jericho when he challenged him for the Inter-Promotional Title.
And when"Macho Man" Randy Savage later stopped Hulk in his tracks when he interfered in the match allowing Jericho to pick up the win. This led to a war of words in which Hulk Hogan faced his longtime rival, defeating Savage soundly on November 7th. Randy Savage called this win a fluke and called for a rematch. One Hogan wouldn't grant. So taking matters into his own hands, "Macho" cost Hulk yet another Title opportunity on November 21st when he interfered on behalf of "The Soul Stealer" Papa Shango in a # 1 contender's match for the Eastern Heavyweight Championship. This was the last straw for Hulk Hogan who viciously attacked Randy Savage just three days ago demanding that the following match take place here tonight at Wrestle Annual II!Best Hulk Hogan Tribute Real AmericanGertner: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first from Venice, Beach California weighing in at 302 lbs.; he is "The Immortal" Hulk Hogan!
Hogan heads down to the ring and Hulkamania runs wild in the Garden! He slaps hands with the fans on the way to the ring and getting inside with Danny Davis where he tears off his shirt and poses for the crowd. He cups his ear and gets to here "Pomp and Circumstance" because "Macho Man" Randy Savage is wasting no time in emerging from the back leaving "Hot Stuff" Debbie Combs to chase after him!
Gertner: And introducing his challenger at this time from Sarasota, Florida weighing 237 lbs.; "The Macho Man" Randy Savage!Match: Randy Savage vs. Hulk Hogan Randy Savage enters the ring and removing his glasses begins trash talking Hulk Hogan. "The Hulkster" gives it right back until Randy says something he apparently didn't like and smacks him! Enraged Savage leaps at him, but Hogan grabs his arms and the two men lock up as Davis calls for the bell. The two men grapple about the ring, Savage losing his hat with neither man getting the better of the other until Randy whips Hulk across the ring and Hogan bulldozes him! Randy gets right back up and the two men eye one another across the ring. Hogan mocks him and Savage comes in swinging! He gets several shots before "The Immortal" traps him in a headlock and takes him down to the mat. Randy escapes with an eye rake and once again goes for the Irish whip! Hogan takes him down with a second lariat on the rebound; runs the ropes; and this time gets caught by a backslide from Savage! 1!...
Hogan kicks out! Hulka pops back up and the two men trade several blows before "Macho Man" catches his opponent in an armwrench, and putting on the pressure turns it into a hammerlock! Hogan is shaking his head as Randy begins hammering on Hogan's ribs and skull. Gene thinks a couple of those shots look a little too close to kidney punches and Poffo says Randy always was a cheat. Hulking up a bit, Hogan takes Randy up and over with a snapmare and begins stomping him out! "Macho Man" is quick to scurry to safety. Hogan isn't going to give him any breathing room over and charging him forces Savage back into the corner where he begins choking him out! Davis puts a stop to it, getting Hulk to back away. Randy seizes this opportunity to attack Hogan! He pounds on him a bit and delivers several knees to his ribs; but when he attempts a whip Hogan blocks it and grabbing his opponent by the head; crushes Randy's skuull into the turnbuckle! He then throws him down to the mat with a hiptoss and runs the ropes! Atomic leg drop! And it misses as Randy rolls out of the way! Hogan is momentarily stunned and as he gets to his feet Savage kicks him in the gut, grabs his head; and hits a vertical suplex! Randy makes the cover! 1!... 2!...
Hogan kicks free! Pulling Hogan up to a seated position Randy Savage pulls at his face as he begins battering him in the head! He lifts Hulk up and nails him with a backbreaker over his knee! And another cover! 1!... 2!
Hogan kicks out! As Hulk Hogan rolls back up to a seated position, Savage attempts to keep him down with a headlock. And he's successful as Hogan begins to fade. This could be it! No. Wait. Hogan is shaking his head! He's pumping his fists! He's powering up and the Hulkamaniacs in attendance are running wild! Savage does his best to stop it; but Hulk Hogan overpowers him and back on his feet the two men begin trading punches with Savage getting the worst of it! Hulk kicks his opponent and scoops him up hitting a bodyslam! Savage pops up! And Hogan treat him to another! Staggering back to his feet Randy is greeted with a barrage of punches as Hulk drives him back into the ropes and goes for the whip! But Randy reverses it sending Hogan into the ropes! Giving chase, Randy grabs his opponent's head, leaps over the ropes and connects with a hairpull hangman! Hulk hits the ground hard and as agile as a cat Randy Savage climbs up the apron and hops up onto the top rope where he waits for Hogan to get back to his feet! And when he does he launches in with a clothesline! But Hulk Hogan counters with one of his own turning Randy inside out! Hulk drops to his knees and makes the cover! 1!... 2!..
Savage kicks free! Hulk Hogan is back up and begins stomping and beating on Randy as he pulls him up to his feet. He whips him across the ring and shatters his opponent with the Axe Bomber crooked arm lariat! He doesn't go for the cover however and pulls Randy up again! This time he introduces his face to the big boot! And he pulls him up again, whipping him a third time! This time Randy catches him completely offguard with a jumping corkscrew roundhouse kick! Hogan is right back up and walks into a clothesline! He's right back up again and Randy Savage looking pretty tired throws him into the corner, charges Hogan and hits the running high knee! Staying up on the turnbuckle, Randy mockingly cups his ear! Big mistake as Hul Hogan grabs him and nails him with an inverted atomic drop! He then cups his own ears as the Hulkamaniacs come alive! He runs the ropes and this time the Atomic legdrop connects! Hogan hooks the leg! 1!... 2!...
Randy kicks out! Hogan looks stunned and stumbles back to his feet. He grabs Randy by the hair and Savage rakes his eyes! The ref didn't see it and Randy is back up! He uses the ropes to keep on his feet for a few moments as he sizes Hogan up and charging "The Hulkster" he hits him with a dropkick that sends him through the ropes and out to the floor! "Macho Man" is out on the apron in seconds and as Hulk gets back to the feet Savage leaps at him with a double axe handle! It connects and Randy begins stomping Hogan out on the floor! He then grabs a steel chair! He's about to use it when he's distracted by the ref. Davis is warning him that he'll DQ him and in disgust Savage tosses the chair aside. Instead he grabs Hogan, but Savage grabs him back and smashes him face first into the apron! Hulk does it again before rolling Randy back into the ring. He comes in after him and traps the downed Savage in a crossface chickenwing! Randy refuses to submit however, so Hulk scoops him up and hits a front powerslam before making the cover! 1!.. 2!.
Savage kicks free! Hogan is getting pissed now and shaking his head in disbelief. He pulls Randy up to his feet looking for another body slam. He gets him up, but Randy slides out and rolls him up! 1!... 2!
Hogan kicks out! Both men are back up and looking tired. They trade shot for shot, but soon Hulk Hogan is battering on Randy. He goes for another whip! But Savage reverses! He sends Hogan into the corner and charging in nails him with a second high knee! He grabs Hulk Hogan by the head looking for a bulldog, but as he leaves the corner; Hogan grabs him and goes for a suplex! Randy however rolls out landing behind him and rakes his back! As Hulk Hogan reels in pain Randy Savage kicks him in the gut and hits the Piledriver! He makes a wary cover. 1!... 2!...
Hulk kicks out! Randy is pulling out his hair in frustation. He heads to the corner and climbs the ropes eyeing Hogan warily. He stands on the turnbuckle and signals for the elbow drop! And he's airborne! And it connects! He hooks Hogan's leg! 1!... 2!...
3! It's over! "Macho Man" Randy Savage has defeated his "Immortal" enemy! Debbie Combs climbs into the ring and the duo celebrate his victory! Debbie is kissing Savage when her eyes go wide. Randy sees the look on her face and turns finding himself staring into the face of Hulk Hogan! The two men eye one another heatedly, but Hogan extends his hand! Savage looks surprised, but ultimately takes it; and the two men shake before Hogan raises his hand in victory! Lanny thinks he's going to be sick.

Okerlund and Poffo then begin to hype the final match of the night in which ECW Champion "Ravishing" Rick Rude is set to face the villainous "Soul Stealer" Papa Shango! They talk a bit about Rude's history with Shango and The Dark Circle last year. Moving on, they discuss "Ravishing" Rick Rude's return to ECW after a brief stint in ACW where he was the American TV Champ. His first night back he won a 20-man Battle Royal to become the # 1 contender at Eastern Championship's big event Old School Rulz where he went on to win the Title from the leader of the Omega Horsemen; "Mr. Wrestling" Steve Corino! Since that night he has went on to turn down challenges to the Title from the Junkyard Dog as well as win a rematch against Corino himself.
They then talk about his challenger Brickh-- er, "The Soul Stealer" Papa Shango, a man seemingly possessed with an unstoppable hatred for Rude since his return on Halloween night earlier this year. Last year Papa Shango (though at least an inch taller at the time) and his villainous Dark Circle seemed to be on the verge of covering the entirety of ECW in darkness when he defeated "Ravishing" Rick Rude in a # 1 contender's match and went on to face then Champion "Macho Man" Randy Savage in a Steel Cage in a losing effort at ECW's big event last September Hotter Than Hell. He wasn't seen for over a year, but now returned he seems twice as dangerous (and crazy) having repeatedly attacked the Champion and defeated "The Immortal" Hulk Hogan to challenge Rick Rude for the belt here tonight!
The building then goes dark and mist fills the arena as voodoo drums plays. On the ramp appears...
Gertner: The following contest is for one fall and is for the Eastern Heavyweight Championship! Introducing first the challenger from the Bowels of Hell weighing 270 lbs. and accompanied to the ring by Destruction Inc.; "The Soul Stealer" Papa Shango!
Shango comes don to the ring shaking his staff while smoke billows from his cauldron. Mongo Vyle and Rhino follow close behind. Once he's been in the ring for a while, spooking the shit out of referee S.D. Jones, Rick Rude's strip theme hits! And out comes the Champ! He has the ECW Title slung about his waist and is wearing his robe which he partially removes as he gives all the ladies in the audience a little show.
Gertner: And introducing at this time the ECW Champion from Robbinsdale, Minnesota weighing 251 lbs.; "The Ravishing One" Rick Rude!
Rude wants the music cut. He says that he'll get to showing that wacky witch doctor Hoodoo Brown why he shouldn't mess with the finest physical specimen in this sport in just a minute. Until then all these New York Jabronis can wait; cause he wants to give one of these gorgeous New York dames the chance at ascending the strairway to Heaven early; when he allows her to remove his robe! He then looks over the candidates as the women in the arena cheer. You!... You!... No. Too fat.... You! You're the one. Come on down.
Security helps the woman he selected over the barricade and she looks to be in awe as he lets her remove his robe. As she does it he sweeps her off of her feet and kisses her deeply. He lets her go with a smirk as she falls back into the arms of a security guard and he swaggers his way down to the ring.ECW Title Match: Rick Rude (c) vs. Papa Shango Rick Rude locks up with Papa Shango as Jones begins the match. He has the clear advantage and hits Shango with everything he's got early on, looking to end this one early. He makes a cover following a diving knee drop, a delayed backbreaker; and finally a spike piledriver which nearly sends the voodoo priest back to Hell. "The Soul Stealer" refuses to stay down however and gets some offense of his own in including a dropkick, a swinging neckbreaker; and a sunset flip that gets him a two count on the Champ.
Midway though the match "The Ravishing One" gets a little cocky and after laying Papa out with a front powerslam he stands triumphantly above him and swings his hips a bit. Shango takes offense to this, cause he drives his boot into Rude's crotch! Back up on his feet Papa Shango dominates the Champ beating on him mercilessly while showboating with his witch doctor mumbo jumbo throughout. He nearly takes Rude out with a spinebuster, but "Ravishing" Rick hangs in there, getting his shoulder up just before the three! He regains his bearings and control of the match however, wearing down his back and after failing to make the pin following the belly to back piledriver; Rick Rude gets Shango up in the overhead gutwrench backbreaker rack! This move spelled doom for Corino's Title reign and "The Soul Stealer" doesn't look like he's going to be an exception!
Mongo Vyle however is up on the apron and catching him out of the corner of his eye Rude drops his challenger letting Papa Shango fall in a crumpled heap to the floor. Danny Davis is quick to correct the matter however and Rick Rude returns to his opponent. Neither man sees that Rhino passed Shango his cauldron however and when Rude attempts to pull the witchdoctor to his feet; he lets loose with the voodoo mist! Davis turns back to the match just in time not to see it and Papa Shango scoops Rick Rude up onto his shoulder setting him up for the inverted shoulderbreaker! He makes the cover! 1!... 2!...
3! Papa Shango is the new ECW Champion! He's defeated Rick Rude! The recovering Rude seems like he can't believe what's just happened as we watch "The Soul Stealer" handed the Eastern Heavyweigh Championship as he stands triumphantly with Rhino and Vyle on either side. 12/05/95 - Nassau Coliseum Uniondale, NY"Mean" Gene Okerlund and "The Genius" Lanny Poffo welcome us to the home base of Eastern Championship Wrestling; the Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, New York for another action-packed edition of ECW! They then briefly recap Wrestle Annual II which can still be ordered only on Pay Per View. They thank everyone who tuned in live on December 1st to make Eastern Championship's second anniversary such an amazing success. They regret to inform us that neither the former Champ "Ravishing" Rick Rude or the new Eastern Heavyweight Champion "The Soul Stealer" Papa Shango are here at the arena tonight.
They then hype tonight's big show which will see "The Redneck Rebel" Doug Gilbert get his rematch for the ECW Light Heavyweight Championship aginst his Cousin Jamie, the Hughes Brothers in action against Deep South, one-half of the new Tag-Team Champs in action as Tommy Dreamer battle Sex & Violence's Joe E. Legend; and in a huge Tag-Team Main Event; the villainous Circus of Doom will battle the team of "Iron" Mike Sharpe and Eastern States Champion Sir William Regal. This match a direct result of Regal's match against "The Ring Master" Matt Borne who claims to have only lost due to Sharpe's interference on behalf of the Champ."You're the Best Around" by Joe Espisito thens hits and out from the back kind've mopes "The Long Island Loud-Mouth" and former Inter-Promotional Champion Chris Jericho. Inside the ring Jericho is furious. At that stalker Chris Benoit, at Eric Bischoff for giving him a match, at the fans who're now booing him; and the very arena itself. Damned MSG. Everyone but Jericho himself is to blame for his loss here tonight and he's sick and tired of these fickle New York fans as well! They eat up his negative energy and throw it back on him booing and hissing the former Champ amid chants for Chris Benoit whom Jericho says should be the real focus of their derision. He's disrespectful. He's vain. And he threw his... um, their Inter-Promotional Championship in the damned trash! The assclown! The fans don't want to hear it however and "The Loud-Mouth" throws a fit chucking chairs, the microphone; and a couple of beers he steals from the fans. Finally he gets in the ring and seems to be brooding. He then tells us we can all go to Hell. Cause he's out of here. And he storms up the ramp and out of the arena.
Joel Gertner makes the intros for the first match of the night.Match: Mongo Vyle vs. Masato Tanaka "The Machiavellan Mauler" Mongo Vyle who has Rhino with him at ringside taunts the L.I. crowd telling them that he always suspected Jericho of being nothing but a whiny bitch just like everyone else from this stinking Island! He gets the crowd so worked up that they're cheering for Masato Tanaka when he hits the ring with his manager Mr. Fuji and tag partner Yoshihiro Tajiri in tow. Danny Davis starts the hard-hitting match that sees Vyle nearly take Tanaka out with the Mongo Masher sitout full nelson atomic drop and a release powerbomb from the second rope. Masato gives as good as he gets countering with the Dangan Bomb and the Sliding D forearm smash; but after several instances of interference by both Rhino and Tajiri; the match ends in a DQ when Mr. Fuji miscalculates his timing and throws a handful of salt in Vyle's eyes in full view of the ref. Tanaka isn't happy.After the break we see a car speed from the parking lot, which Lanny Poffo informs us belongs to "The Long Island Loud-Mouth" Chris Jericho who has taken off after storming into the office of ECW President Eric Bischoff where he quit! Gene hopes the door hits him in the ass on the way out and Poffo tells Okerlund he should tell us how he really feels.
"Rock You Like a Hurricane" by The Scorpions then hits as Buckamania runs wild at the Coliseum when the original "Rock 'N Roller" appears on the ramp with his boom box in hand.Match: Buck Zumhoff vs. Erin O'Grady Buck Zumhoff returns to single's competition and gets handed a beaten by "The Leprechaun" Erin O'Grady early on. The Lucky Charm double underhook implant DDT gets O'Grady a two count. When he goes for an Irishcanrana it proves to be a mistake when "Rock 'N Roll" blocks it and throws him down to the mat. Though he gives Buck a fight, Erin never really recovers and falls victim to the Rocking 'N Rolling springboard DDT which gets Zumhoff the three count and the win from referee S.D. Jones. Tag-Team Match: Hughes Brothers vs. Deep South The Hughes Brothers look impressive in this one as they fight back and forth with Deep South, Spike getting a two count off of Dick Murdoch after a corner springboard spinebuster and Devon when he nails the Junkyard Dog with a big spinebuster. The veterans prove to be too much for the young up and comers hower, with JYD nailing little Spike Hughes with a headbutt that sends him right into the waiting arms of Dick Murdoch who lays his opponent out with a Brainbuster before making the cover to pick up the win from Danny Davis. After the match we're brought backstage where ECW Correspondent Terri Runnels is in front of the ECW banner with "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson, Barry Windhaml; and Tully Blanchard! She asks them about their feelings about their big win at Wrestle Annual II. Arn asks her how does she expect them to feel? It felt great showing them snot-nosed punks just what being a Horseman is all about. And it was even sweeter doing it at War Games with his brothers. Tully and Barry are in agreement with this when suddenly we hear a distinctive "Woooo!" and in walks Ric Flair!Terri seems surprised to see Flair and asks him what he's still doing here. His contract with Eastern Championship only covered that one night. Ric Flair tells Terri it's best not to question God doll. Cause Flair has always done what Flair wants and at Wrestle Annual; that feeling in the arena was electric baby! Him, Arn, Tully, Barry back in action together. The way it was meant to be! They styled! They profiled! They shake, rattled; and they rolled all over that steel cage. All over those two rings. All over MSG. Right through those Omega phonies. And it felt fantastic! So you're asking what "The Naitch" is still doing in ECW sister? Well he's making it his home. He's parking his boots. And he's gonna hang with his brothers in this here house that Arn built. Cause with these three guys, his fellow Horsemen? They're set to take over the whole damned world. Woooo!Okerlund and Poffo welcome us back from the break before reminding us that next week's show will be coming from the Pittsburgh Civic Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. They inform us that while tickets for this huge show are already sold out, those folks at home and around the country should tune in right here on Eastern Championship's home station of TNN The Nashville Network."Pomp and Circumstance" then hits and out from the back emerges the "Macho Man" Randy Savage who has "Hot Stuff" Debbie Combs in tow. About half the fans boo him. He doesn't care and gives an "Ooooh Yeah!" to start things up. He tells us that alot of people say that what he did last week couldn't be done. That the "Macho Man" didn't have what it takes to beat "The Immortal." But that's just what he did last week brother; when he put Hulk Hogan down for the 1-2-3! Yeah! Randy Savage did exactly what he said he'd do. He put his elbow through the heart of Hulkamania. Tore it limb from limb. Spit in the face of all it stands for! Dig it. But now it's time to move on. Look at new horizons. Set his sights on retaining his gold. Yeah. Which is why his next target is "The Soul Stealer" brother. Cause...Best Hulk Hogan Tribute Real AmericanHulk Hogan's music hits! And Hulkamania is once again running wild in ECW as Hogan comes down and slaps high fives with the fans. "Macho" looks like he's going to blow a gasket as Hogan enters a ring and does his thing. After posing a bit for the crowd he stops before Randy Savage and the two men eyeball one another. "The Hulkster" breaks the silence with "You scratch like a girl." Savage is about to say something, but Hogan stops him and tells him that it's cool brother. Last week? He beat "The Immortal" Hulk Hogan in front of thousands of screaming Hulkamaniacs. Everyone saw it. Hogan? He can live with it. However, two weeks ago the "Macho Man" cheated Hulk out of his shot at the ECW Title. A Title that was won by the man who "beat" him only because of Savage. So if anyone is getting a shot at that Title next brother? It's gonna be Hulk Hogan!
Savage is pissed at this and reminds Hogan that it's the "Macho Man" who beat Hulk Hogan in this very ring just last week. And if Hogan and all his little Hulkamaniacs think that they're just going to walk in here and pass him over again, they're mistaken brother. Because "Macho Man" Randy Savage more than earned that shot when he pinned Hulk Hogan last week. That he's owed that shot. And if "The Immortal" Hulk Hogan wants that shot, well he's going to have to go through the "Macho Man" to do it! Oooooh Yeah!
Hulk Hogan says he's cool with that. In fact Eric Bischoff already signed off on that match for two weeks from today brother. Randy looks like he swallowed a fly.ECW Light Heavyweight Title Match: Cousin Jamie vs. Doug Gilbert The new Light Heavyweight Champ and his challenger Doug Gilbert surprise the crowd when after staring at one another a bit they have a hoedown in the ring! A confounded S.D. Jones starts the match and the mood immediately changes as Jamie and Doug begin beating the hell out of one another! There's constant hair pulling, eye poking; and other low tactics as The Bayou Boys brawl about the ring. Jones does his best to put an end to it when Jamie climbs on top of Gilbert and begins battering his head repeatedly into the mat and won't stop despite the ref's protests. Eventually Doug rakes his cousin's eyes and turns the tables on the Champ. Having had enough S.D. calls for the bell throwing the match out and attempts to pull "The Redneck Rebel" off his opponent. This stops both men who stop fighting and turn on S.D. Jones who they nail with a double flapjack! The Bayou Boys find this quite amusing and leave the ring together. After the break ECW Correspondent Terri Runnels is talking with the new Tag-Team Champs Dustin Rhodes and Tommy Dreamer who tell her how proud they both were when Dusty Rhodes showed up to be an equalizer in their match at Wrestle Annual; taking on the Ubermensch. Though they're kind've sad to hear that The Blitzkrieg got a little boo boo on his leg and won't be able to face them in a rematch. They're sure he'll be back to his goose stepping ways in no time. In the meanwhile they're anxious to defend their belts against all-comers because "The Innovator of Violence" Tommy Dreamer and "The American Nightmare" Dustin Rhodes don't fear anybody.Match: Joe E. Legend vs. Tommy Dreamer Joe E. Legend is a tough customer and gives Tommy Dreamer a hard-hitting fight, scoring a two count off a Murder Horn electric chair facebuster before missing a moonsault that "The Innovator" capitalizes on laying out his opponent with a DDT. Davis makes the count.Match: Debbie Combs vs. Velvet McIntyre After some back and forth with Velvet McIntyre, "Hot Stuff" Debbie Combs makes her return to the ring with a swinging neckbreaker that gets her the three count from S.D. Jones.Okerlund and Poffo welcome us back from the last commercial break of the evening before hyping tonight's big main event which will see the Eastern States Champion William Regal team with "Iron" Mike Sharpe against Circus of Doom members "Ring Master" Matt Borne and Pogo the Clown. They talk about both Sharpe and Regal's long-standing rivalry with Borne, going back to last year for "Iron" Mike and earlier this year for Sir William when things heated up between him and Borne who was under his guise of Doink the Clown at the time. They talk about the Loser Leaves Town match between Borne and Sharpe at the inaugural Wrestle Annual; one of the most brutal matches in ECW history which led to "Maniac" Matt being fired by ECW President Eric Bischoff.
Borne however stayed with the company in his guise of Doink the Clown and ended up feuding with William Regal; a battle that ended in a Steel Cage match back in later July. As per the match's stipulations Doink was forced to unmask once Regal defeated him. This revealed Borne's charade and Bischoff fired him yet again. He was re-instated however thanks to then ECW Champion "Mad Dog" Luna Vachon. He returned as the self-styled "Ring Master" Matt Borne, bringing several cronies with him; collectively calling themselves the Circus of Doom. Since his return he has been a constant thorn in Regal's side and challenged him for the Eastern States Championship last week at Wrestle Annual II. He lost that attempt, due to what he claims was inteference by "Iron" Mike Sharpe; when Canada's Greatest Athlete stepped in and stopped Borne's minion Pogo the Clown from interfering in the match. Which is why Matt Borne asked for this match here tonight; looking for revenge against both his old adversaries.
Circus music then plays as the lights go dark. A weird spotlight shines around the arena, settling on the ramp where The Circus of Doom have appeared.
Gertner: The following Tag-Team contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first all the way from the Big Top weighing a collective 544 lbs. and accompanied to the ring by "Mad Dog" Luna Vachon and Dink; they are "The Ring Master" Matt Borne and Pogo the Clown; The Circus of Doom!
S.D. Jones looks a bit worried as The Circus of Doom take over the ring. Gertner: And introducing their opponents this evening weighing a combined 526 lbs.; Canada's Greatest Athlete "Iron" Mike Sharpe and the Eastern States Champion Sir William Regal!Tag-Team Main Event: William Regal & Mike Sharpe vs. The Circus of Doom "The Ring Master" Matt Borne starts things off with his opponent from Wrestle Annual, William Regal; who he hands a beating early on getting a two count following a sidewalk slam and only one off of a bridged German Suplex. From there Regal rallies back however and the two men battle back and forth with Borne spending some time in a surfboard before getting laid out with a vertical suplex fo a two. Getting the drop on Regal he attempts to get the win via Submission using the rarely seen Stump Puller single leg inverted Boston Crab; but the Eastern States Champ fights his way out and sends Matt Borne scurrying to his corner after he fails to put "The Ring Master" away with a European uppercut that he follows up with a double underhook powerbomb.
Pogo the Clown gets tagged in and he comes right after Regal who he batters about the ring like a ragdoll while laughing maniacally before Burying Him in the Basement! 1!... 2!...
3! No! Regal has kicked out at the last possible second, becoming the first man to do so. Pogo begins a shrieking laughter we haven't heard before as he begins to club the Eastern States Champ repeatedly and hits him with several power moves including a front powerslam and a running splash in the corner. Regal however refuses to give up and begins to show some fight as he fires back with several chops and cracks the big man in the jaw with a European uppercut! With Pogo reeling back a bit, Sir William runs the ropes and connects with a dropkick that sends The Clown tumbling out of the ring to the floor below! Worn out, he makes the tag to...
"Iron" Mike Sharpe who has Pogo the Clown on the run immediately as he begins pounding the behemoth on the outside, whipping him into the steel steps and battering the Clown's head into the apron. He looks like he's about to get counted out however when Mike Sharpe hits his knees hard as Dink connects with a lowblow from behind! S.D. Jones didn't see it of course because he's too busy being distracted by "The Ring Master." Pogo the Clown gets a chance to catch his breath and clobbers the downed Sharpe with a couple of hard right hands before smashing his skull with a headbutt that busts Canada's Greatest Athlete wide open! Sharpe is bleeding pretty good as he is rolled into the ring by The Clown.
As he climbs back into the ring however Pogo is in for a surprise when he finds Mike Sharpe already back up on his feet! He clobbers his opponent with a double dose of fist to both ears of The Clown's head before hoisting him right off his feet and locking in a bearhug! "Iron" Mike squeezes for all his might and has everyone including Lanny a bit shocked until Pogo the Clown fights his way out and hoists Sharpe up for a bearhug of his own! Mike screams in pain, but manages to fight his way out; forcing Pogo to drop him. The damage to Pogo the Clown has been done however and the big man retreats to his corner while his opponent catches a breaher down on one knee.
The tag is made and Matt Borne is back in the ring! He heads over to Mike Sharpe, but Canada's Greatest Athlete seems to have caught himself a second wind and charges across the ring; taking "The Ring Master's" head off his shoulders with the running forearm smash! Matt Borne is out of it as Mike Sharpe hooks his leg! 1!... 2!...
3! Mike Sharpe and William Regal have won it! Jones is quick to raise their hands in victory; but after several seconds the lights go out!
And voodoo drums begin to play as mist fills the arena! When the lights come back on the ECW Champion "The Soul Stealer" Papa Shango is in the ring with Destruction Inc.! Regal and Sharpe see them, but before they have a chance to react; Shango blows voodoo mist into their faces! Which he follows up with a fireball! The burst sends both men reeling and they hit the ground writhing in pain!
The Circus of Doom are now collected in the ring with Destruction Inc. and "The Soul Stealer" begins ordering them all around. After some disagreement between Borne and Shango; Destruction Inc. hoist the prone William Regal up to his feet, run him across the ring; and hurl him out the the floor below! They all then stand around Mike Sharpe who Matt Borne and Rhino hoist up to a kneeling position while Shango gives starts in with his voodoo shenanigans. Sharpe begins to stir and doesn't know what to make of what's going on as Shango signals for Mongo Vyle to grab his face and force his mouth open! From his cloak, the voodoo priest pulls the skull shaped chalice that he brings to the ring and begins pouring a black liquid into the mouth of the struggling Canadian!
But Sharpe won't swallow it and spits it back and Shango! Pissed, "The Soul Stealer" lets him have it with a hard right before forcing more fluid messily into Mike Sharpe's mouth, letting it spill all over the restrained man. Sharpe screams in agony as he's forced to drink the liquid and falling to the ground begins to convulse as Papa Shango joins hands with Matt Borne and raises them triumphantly! The Circus of Doom has joined The Dark Circle! Paramedics appear on the stage and head down the ramp as the...

12/12/95 - Pittsburgh Civic Center Pittsburgh, PA"Mean" Gene Okerlund and "The Genius" Lanny Poffo welcome us to the Pttisburgh Civic Center in the Steel City; Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania! They briefly recap last week's show including how ECW Light Heavyweight Champ Jamie Knoble successfully defended his Title against his own cousin "The Redneck Rebel" Doug Gilbert; but focus on the big Tag-Team main event which saw Eastern States Champ William Regal team-up with "Iron" Mike Sharpe against the villainous Circus of Doom. While Sharpe scored the pin on the C.o.D.'s leader "Ring Master" Matt borne, both he and Regal fell victim to a savage assault when ECW Champ "The Soul Stealer" Papa Shango and Destruction Inc. hit the ring. After hitting the duo with a fireball; Shango poured a mysterious black liquid into the mouth of Canada's Greatest Athlete before revealing that the Circus of Doom have now joined him and Destruction Inc. in the Dark Circle! Sharpe still has yet to be released from an undisclosed hospital (for his own safety) in NY and is said to be listed in serious, but stable condition.
Poffo says he takes back what he said about this "new" Papa Shango. He gives him the creeps too. They then begin hyping tonight's big show which will see "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson, "Macho Man" Randy Savage and "The Immortal" Hulk Hogan all in single's action! They begin to discuss Hogan and Savage's encounter last week which lead to a third round in their battle here in ECW, this time to determine the # 1 contender when...The lights go out! Voodoo drums begin to pound as mist fills the arena and out from the back appears the ECW Champion "The Soul Stealer" Papa Shango! He has the combined might of Destruction Inc. and The Circus of Doom with him as he heads down to the ring. Once inside he gives us some voodooo theatrics to watch before suddenly stopping and stares menacingly at the audience for an uncomfortable period of time. He tells us that the decade of Darkness has descended upon all of us here at Eastern Championship Wrestling! He promises that before all this is over things will get extreme and that what he did to Canada's Greatest Athlete is just an example of what he's prepared to do to the world. That he will enfold us all in darkness and strangle us within The Dark Circle! He says that some have been asking why last week the Eastern States Champion William Regal was spared; but he assures us that he was simply set aside for a future pain; a heinous trail by fire. Because William Regal cannot lose what Shango wants if he's dead. And what "The Soul Stealer" is looking to wrest from him is not only his very soul; but the Eastern States Championship as well!
Shango begins cackling maniacally as ECW takes it's first...Joel Gertner makes the intros for the first match of the night.Match: Arn Anderson vs. Butch Reed "Then Enforcer" Arn Anderson has a tough fight ahead of him as Danny Davis starts the match. Butch Reed has a definitely strength advantage, but the former ECW Champ holds his own as the two men brawl about the ring, with "Hacksaw" hitting a number of clotheslines before going for the Gorilla Press Slam early; getting a two count. Arn concentrates on Reed's shoulder and arm, trying to keep the big man down and off his feet. Getting the drop on Butch, Arn hits him with a shoulderbreaker and begins delivering several knee drops to the area when Butch's manager Slick reaches inand lets Arn have it in the back of the knee with pimp cane!
The ref doesn't see it, but Arn turns to argue with "The Doctor of Style" who pleads the fifth. He gets clubbed from behind by a recovered Reed! Butch fires away on Anderson while from the back comes Ric Flair!Flair heads down the ramp and begins chasing Slick about the ring while inside Arn Anderson is hit by a double underhook powerbomb! 1!... 2!... Arn kicks free! Butch keeps on top of him pounding away on "The Enforcer" who he pulls up to one knee while on the outside "The Nature Boy" has caught Slick and is handing him a beating! This distracts Reed a bit, and gives Arn Anderson enough of an opening to rally back and eventually put Butch Reed away with the Spinebuster! Inside the ring Ric celebrates with Arn.We're then brought backstage wheren ECW correspondent Terri Runnels is with Barry Windham and Tully Blanchard. The trio are soon joined by Flair and Anderson; whom "Naitch" puts over as the man! He carries on it typical Flair-style how the Horsemen are back baby! Arn then gets on the microphone and says there're alot of things here in ECW that he's been letting slide of late. But now with Corino and his cohorts out of action, with his friends in the Horsemen at his side; that they're ready to set their sights on the one thing that matters in this business. And that's Championship gold. Whether it's him and Flair hunting for the Heavyweight Title, Barry looking for the Eastern States Title or him and Tully gunning for the Tag-Titles; one thing's for certain; The Four Horsemen will be wearing the gold before the year is out. You can bet on that. Flair then breaks in with a Wooo!Match: Masato Tanaka vs. Dick Murdoch "Captain Redneck" Dick Murdoch is joined at ringside by Junkyard Dog for this one; which keeps Masato Tanaka's meddling manager Mr. Fuji in check for the most part. Early on Murdoch holds his own, nearly ending the match midway through with a Calf Branding off the top. The younger Masato Tanaka proves to be too much for the veteran however and hits Dick Murdoch with the Dangan Bomb for the three count from S.D. Jones. Back from the break ECW Correspondent Terri Runnels is standing by with "The Redneck Rebel" Doug Gilbert and Light Heavyweight Champ Cousin Jamie; The Bayou Boys! The are all smiles and Terri asks them about their recent fighting over the Lighweight Championship and asks them if this is the end for them as a tag-team. She gets an "Aw hell no!" from the duo who go on to tell here that the bit of brawling they've been doing was no worse than a typical Thanksgiving at Uncle (Hillbilly) Jim's! But as usual they've patched things up, cause well? They're family. And family's share. "Just like this one goat we had..." Jamie begins a tangent; but Gilbert smacks him back to reality. Doug tells us that they've put their brains together and decided that instead of fighting; they're just gonna be double Lightweight Champs! Cousin Jamie shakes his head in agreement and when Doug walks off; Cousin Jamie whispers into Terri's ear "by the way, the goat was named Terri too." She looks like she threw up in her mouth a little as he exits.Tag-Team Match: Bayou Boys vs. The Cavalry The double Light Heavyweight Champs have themselves a hoedown in the middle of the ring before a bugle blares announcing the arrival of the masked Cavalry who head down to the ring with their equally masked Bugle Player who smacks two coconut shells together to simulate horse hooves as the competitors "trot" down to the ring. Cousin Jamie starts things off with Cavalryman # 2 while Lanny remarks that the Bugler appears to have put on a little weight since he last saw him in ECW. (he did. he used to be played by Shane Helms, while tonight Black Bart is filling in. you do the math.) The Cavalry (who move like Sexton Hardcastle & Christian Cage for some reason) are no slouches in the ring and put on a fast paced match against The Bayou Boys who use several underhanded tactics including low blows, eye pokes; and even turning Cavalryman # 1's mask around on him during the match, which the Cavalry comedically sell. In the end Doug Gilbert nails Calvalryman # 2 with the Hot Shot flapjack dropped into a hangman to score the pinfall from Danny Davis.Lanny and Gene welcome us back from the break before remind us that next week's show will be coming to us live from The Gund Arena in Cleveland, Ohio and that while tickets for the show are already sold out, those folks at home should be sure to tune in right here on Eastern Championship's home station of TNN The Nashville Network! "Macho Man" Randy Savage will be facing "The Immortal" Hulk Hogan in a rematch from Wrestle Annual to determine the # 1 contender for the ECW Championship; so be sure not to miss it!Speak of the devil; "Pomp and Circumstance" hits as Savage emerges from the back with "Hot Stuff" Debbie Combs in tow! Poffo says that Combs is a milf. Grrr. Gene has no idea what he's talking about and Lanny tells him not to worry about it, that all the kids will be saying it one of these days.Match: Randy Savage vs. Joe E. Legend Randy Savage isn't out to play games tonight, looking to send a message to his opponent next week, Hulk Hogan instead. Poor Joe E. Legend gets some offense in here and there, but the young wrestler is simply out matched as "Macho Man" beats him bloody. Savage has several opportunities to pin Joe E., but keeps pulling the kid back to his feet and the crowd begins to hate it. He eggs them on of course before finally flattening Joe E. Legend to the mat with a front powerslam before mockingly cupping his ear to imitate Hogan and running the ropes hits the Atomic Leg Drop to pick up the win from a relieved S.D. Jones.After the match we're taken to a promo by The Baron Von Raschke who's with his son Aryan. The Baron tells us that since the dawn of mankind his beautiful country, the motherland known as The Republic of Germany has been the brunt of vicious lies. Lies perpetrated by the jealous, the inferior, the weak. So following the events at Wrestle Annual he wasn't surprised when yet another untruth was spoken by the lesser people. The Blitzkrieg injured? Pfah! A mere scratch to his leg. The fact of the matter is that "Mangler's Monster" was due a vacation. In fact, he just received this postcard from Pearl Harbor and he's doing fine. And so is The Baron; because now his mighty son Aryan von Raschke will have his time to shine! Freed up from the Tag-Team division, they can now set their sights on the Light Heavyweight, Eastern States; and yes; even the World Title! But their old pals Dustin and Dreamer shouldn't get to cozy. Because The Blitzkrieg shall return. And when he does; there'll be Hell to pay! In front of the ECW banner Terri Runnels talks to Beulah McGillicutty about her losing the # 1 contender's match for the Women's Championship just days before Wrestle Annual. Beulah says that seeing Jacqueline Moore back here at Eastern Championship shook her up a little. She's a tough competitor and she had no time to prepare for the match. That's only a temporary setback however and "Miss Texas" had better be ready, because Beulah is ready to take back the ECW Title.Match: Jacqueline Moore vs. Tiffany Tiffany keeps the Champ offguard with her fast paced, high flying style; taking "Miss Texas" down to the floor with a hurrancanrana which sets up a flying crossbody for her off the top that gets the luchadoress a two count. Jacqueline Moore however quickly recovers and takes control of the match, forcing Tiffany to submit to Davis using the Guillotine Choke.Match: Rhino vs. Ronnie Garvin Things are looking bad for Ronnie Garvin from the onset when Rhino brings not only his tag-team partner Mongo Vyle; but also the ECW Champion Papa Shango with him! Garvin points to both men warning them to keep clear of him and Jones has a few words with them as well before starting the match. "The Man-Beast" wastes no time coming after Garvin and starts clobbering him with hard rights and lefts, but "The Hands of Stone" begin immediately firing back! The two men brawl about the ring until Garvin whips Rhino across the ring and connects with the Rolling Cross armbreaker! Rhino screams in pain, but is too close to the ropes which he grabs to break the hold. Garvin keeps on top of his opponent, putting the boots to him; but Rhino slaps him away and scooping him up puts the squeeze on "The Rugged One" a bit before flattening him with a Spinebuster! He makes the cover; but Garvin kicks out before two. Angered, Rhino hoists Ronnie to his feet and begins clubbing him before whipping him hard into the corner! He then charges in for The Gore striking spear!
But Ronnie Garvin moves out of the way and Rhino crashes into the steal ringpost! Grabbing him, Garvin tosses "The Man-Beast" back down to the mat setting him up for The Garvin Stomp! And he stomps a mudhole into Rhino! Though dazed, Rhino attempts to get right back up; but "Rugged" grabs him, hoists; and connects with a vertical suplex! He floats over with the cover! 1!... 2!... Rhino kicks out! Garvin does his best to keep Rhino down while on the outside Papa Shango starts in with his voodoo shenanigans. Ronnie shoots him a weary look as he continues to do whatever is necessary to keep Rhino down with kicks, stomps, punches; and double axe handles; but "The Man-Beast" eventually fights his way up to one knee and is soon back on his feet! The two men begin trading blows; but Rhino seems to be a man possessed and after battering Garvin down to the mat with several clotheslines whips him into the corner where he charges in with a huge shoulder block! With Ronnie Garvin wobbling in the corner, Rhino hoists him up onto the top turnbuckle and sets him up for the superplex off the top! But Garvin fights it! And Rhino clubs him back down! And the superplex connects! He hooks the leg! 1!... 2!... 3! Rhino has won it!
Papa Shango and Mongo Vyle are immediately inside the ring raising his hands in victory while Ronnie Garvin sits up and rubs his head. Seeing him, Shango orders Mongo to take care of him and the big man grabs a struggling "Rugged One" and lays him out with a Mongo Masher full nelson powerbomb! As tough as they come, Ronnie is down but still conscious. He looks up to see Papa Shango standing before him and the ECW Champ goes into some voodoo theatrics before hammering the downed man with The Garvin Stomp! Shango cackles victoriously as ECW goes to it's final...Okerlund and Poffo welcome us back from the last commercial break of the evening before hyping tonight's big Main Event in which two fan-favorites here at ECW will collide. "The Genius" think this should prove to be an interesting one as "Rock 'N Roll" Buck Zumhoff has been imitating "The Immortal" Hulk Hogan on and off since earlier in the year and wonders if Hogan has taken offense to this. "Mean" Gene however pulls a Lanny and acts like he has no idea what Poffo is talking about. He does agree however that this should prove to be a great match between two of his all-time favorites. Hulk Hogan's music hits! And Hulkamania is running wild as out comes Hulk Hogan, exchanging high fives on his way down to the ring!
Gertner: And introducing his challenger this evening from Venice Beach, California weighing 302 lbs.; he is "The Immortal" Hulk Hogan!Main Event: Hulk Hogan vs. Buck Zumhoff Buck Zumhoff looks on as Hulk Hogan explodes into the ring and does his thing, cupping his ear as the crowd cheers and then standing before Zumhoff tears off his shirt. "Rock 'N Roll" however has a surprise for "The Immortal One" and heading to one side of the ring cups his own ear. He then heads to the other side, mimicking Hogan before returning to wear Hogan is standing and tears off his own Buckamania t-shirt! Hogan chuckles at this and extends his hand and the two men shake before locking up. Danny Davis starts the match and the time for fun and games is over as Hogan easily overpowers Zumhoff in a contest of strength and throwing him back sends him tumbling across the ring!
Hogan follows his opponent, but gets another surprise from "The Rock 'N Roller" when Buck pops up off the floor and connects with a picture perfect dropkick! The Hulkster doesn't go down, but does stumble back as Buck charges in and assaults Hogan with a barrage of punches! He then goes for a whip, but Hogan reverses and nails Zumhoff to the mat with a clothesline! Knocking Buck to the floor Hogan pulls Buck to his feet and whips him across the ring, connecting with the big boot! This could be it! 1!... 2!...
Zumhoff kicks out! Lanny calls him an idiot. As Buck gets to his feet, Hogan is through keeping things civil and begins pounding on his opponent, but Buck slaps him away! He gets several punches in on Hogan before whipping him across the, wait no Hogan reverses! And he goes for another big boot! But this time Buck slides under it and popping up behind Hogan sends his into the ropes with another dropkick! Jumping on top of "The Immortal One" Buck begins unloading on Hogan who no-sells the attack; scoops Buck up and hits him with a back body drop! He the pulls Zumhoff up to his feet, hammers him across the ring, whips him across, hoists him into the air and treats Buck to a body slam! He then signals for the Atomic leg drop! He heads to one side of the ring and cups his ear. Then the other. Hogan is about to run the ropes and the fans are going nuts when he stops...
And signals for the Savage Elbow?! Is Hogan insane?!!
Hulk Hogan is shaking his head yes as he walks across the ring and climbs the ropes! Standing on the turnbuckle he mimicks "Macho Man!" And then goes airborne!
But all he catches is an elbow full of canvas as Buck Zumhoff rolls free! Hogan is right back up on his feet; but so is Buck Zumhoff and before The Hulkster has a chance to recover he nails "The Immortal" with the Rocking 'N Rolling springboard DDT! Buck could have it as he hooks the leg! 1!... 2
Hogan kicks out! And now he's looking pissed. Buck attempts to keep on him, but Hulk Hogan is hulking up as the Hulkamaniacs in the arena start going wild! Hogan is back on his feet within second and lays right into "Rock 'N Roll." From there Hulk Hogan dominates Buck Zumhoff before laying him out with a front powerslam before hitting the Atomic Leg Drop for the win.

12/19/95 - The Gund Arena Cleveland, OH
"Mean" Gene Okerlund and "The Genius" Lanny Poffo welcome us to the Gund Arena in Cleveland, Ohio for another exciting edition of Eastern Championship Wrestling! They then briefly recap last week's show in which the villainous Dark Circle attacked "Rugged" Ronnie Garvin and in the main event "The Immortal" Hulk Hogan defeated "Rock 'N Roll" Buck Zumhoff. We also saw both "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson and "Macho Man" Randy Savage in action.
Tonight is yet another all-star line-up as they hype tonight's big show which will see "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair in his single's debut here at ECW when he takes on "The American Nightmare" Dusting Rhodes! And in tonight's huge Main Event, we'll witness a rematch from Wrestle Annual as Hulk Hogan once again does battle the "Macho Man" Randy Savage; this time to determine the # 1 contender for the ECW Title; with the winner to face the villainous "Soul Stealer" Papa Shango!
Joel Gertner then makes the intros for the first match of the night.
Tag-Team Match: The New Orient Express vs. The Hughes Brothers
Masato Tanaka and "The Japanese Buzzsaw" Yoshihiro Tajiri are on top of their game tonight as is their manager Mr. Fuji who provides this evening's distraction in this match officiated by S.D. Jones. The Hughes Brothers does their best to put the Express down with Devon Hughes nailing Tanaka with a spinebuster for a two count and Spike Hughes dropping Tajiri with a two count for the same. Fuji's "honorable" tactics on the outside however allow Yoshihiro to lock little Spike in the Tarantula, doing a world of damage before he is forced to release the hold where Hughes staggers right into the Roaring discus Elbow smash from Masato Tanaka who gets the pinfall.
Match: Aryan von Raschke vs. Christian Cage
The Baron von Raschke leads his son Aryan down to the ring accompanied to "Ich tu der Weh" by Rammstein and it's obvious the fans can't stand them. Aryan seems to eat this up and proceeds to spit at them while posing on the ropes. The fans rally behind young Christian Cage who gets in some offense, though Aryan keeps control of the match throughout, hitting Cage with a sidewalk slam, a scoop powerslam; and a reverse DDT making the cover each time only to stop and pull Christian back to his feet. Aryan mocks Christian's long hair and makes some effeminate hand gestures while working Christian Cage over before finally slingshoting him into the corner to set him up for the Sieg Heil! superkick. He makes the cover while Danny Davis delivers the three count.
After the match we're taken inside a hospital where from behind a door comes the Eastern States Champion Sir William Regal who cuts a promo on the heinous nature of The Dark Circle's attack on him and Mike Sharpe two weeks ago. He calls it a heinous act perpetrated by a group of thugs who have no place in a wrestling ring. That Papa Shango and his lackeys went beyond the pale, and that while his friend "Iron" Mike Sharpe is expected to recover from his injuries; he's been told he'll never wrestle again. That so-called witch doctor ended his career. Regal says he was lucky to walk away with minor burns himself, but after what those devils did they've made this personal. And William Regal will not rest until he sends Shango, Borne, that big laughing idiot Bozo or whatever his name is; and even that harpy Vachon back to whatever corner of Hell they crawled out from.
Back at ringside Poffo says he thought all English people were smart, but now Regal has gone and proven him wrong. That only an ignoramous would actually go looking to start trouble with The Dark Circle. They give him the willies. The lights then go dark and circus music plays as a weird spotlight spins about the arena, settling on the ramp where "Mad Dog" Luna Vachon stands with "The Ring Master" Matt Borne, Pogo the Clown and the midget Dink.
Match: Luna Vachon vs. La Diabolica
S.D. Jones starts the match and La Diabolica gives the former Women's Champ a hard hitting, fast paced match getting a two count via a flying crossbody before Luna Vachon puts the masked woman down with a flying headbutt off the top. Okerlund puts Luna's savagery in the ring over, saying that she may be the member of The Dark Circle he'd want to meet in a dark alley the least. Lanny just wants to know exactly what Gene has been doing hanging around dark alleys. And does Mrs. Gene know?
Back from break Gene and Lanny remind us that next week's show will be coming to us live from the West Virginia University Coliseum in Morgantown, West Virginia and that while tickets for that show are sold out, those folks at home should be sure to join us right here on Eastern Championship's home station of TNN The Nashville Network! Okerlund has just received word that ECW President Eric Bischoff has signed off on next week's Main event which will see the ECW Champ Papa Shango in action against the Eastern States Champion William Regal! It's Champion versus Champion live next week!
Match: Ric Flair vs. Dustin Rhodes
Ric Flair comes down to the ring with Barry Windham and getting inside struts about while Dustin Rhodes and Danny Davis who orders Windham to stay out of the match and he acts offended by the idea. Okerlund and Poffo discuss Flair's legendary feud with Dustin's father Dusty Rhodes as well as his time with Dustin himself in WCW. Poffo says this being Flair's first single's match in the company; he'll be looking to make an example out of the "American Nightmare." Inside the ring "Nature Boy" is having some tense words with Dustin Rhodes who offered him a sip from his flask. Rhodes laughs and makes a second attempt, but this time gets the flask slapped right out of his hand! This pisses Dustin off and the two men lock up.
The two men grapple about the ring with Flair driving Rhodes into the corner where Davis is forced to separate them. Dustin is pissed by this and Ric begins to mock him before coming in with several Flair chops, driving Rhodes into the corner where he hits him with several shoulder thrusts before whipping him hard across the ring into the opposing corner! The Tag Champ is down and Flair shouts at him to get up, adding some motivation with a stray kick or chop before whipping him hard into the corner again! Flair keeps on top of him, but Dustin battles out of the corner with a knee to the gut and hopping up to the second rope takes Ric down hard with a diving clothesline! He makes a quick cover, but barely gets a two before hoisting Ric to his feet, letting him have it with a shot to the face and then returns the favor with a whip of his own! He follows it up with a second! Flair gets hung up in the corner where Dustin lets him have it with several punches before whipping him a third time! Following him in, he kicks "The Naitch" in the stomach and nails him with a gutwrench suplex! He makes the cover! 1!...2
Flair kicks free! Dustin is right on Flair, but Ric smacks Dustin away and hits him with several chops before going for the whip! But it gets reversed! And Rhodes lets Flair have it with a big back bodydrop! Climbing onto his opponent Dustin applies a rear chinlock and "Nature Boy" looks to be in trouble. Flair yells and fights as he tries to break the hold! Okerlund talks about the conflict of interest that must be going on in the head of Barry Windham at ringside, having at one time been Tag-Team Champs with Dustin himself. Does he side with Flair or Rhodes here? Poffo calls that a stupid question and the person who asked it an idiot. There's no conflict. Windham is a Horseman first and foremost. Flair meanwhile is going nuts. He's fighting back and gets back to his feet where he whips Dustin across the ring and hits a dropkick! Hoisting the downed Rhodes to his feet Ric lets loose with the fists and clubs "The Nightmare" in the head furiously! Dropping his opponent he begins the strut!
Flair is strutting about the ring, toying with his opponent with several boots, punches; and headlocks as he hams it up for the crowd. Flair pulls Dustin up to his feet and Rhodes rakes Flair's eyes! Ric staggers back as Dustin continues the assault, but "Naitch" blocks it and the two men begin trading punches! Flair gets the better of his opponent and hits a vertical suplex! But Dustin is right back up and the two men collide in the middle of the ring with a double lariat takedown! Both men are down and Davis starts the count! He gets to four, but Dustin finds his feet and runs the ropes barreling back down on Ric who counters with a scoop powerslam! He hooks the leg! 1!... 2!...
Dustin kicks out! Flair can't believe it! He's pullin his hair out and throwing a bit of a tantrum as he gets back to his feet, pulls Dustin up by his hair and runs him right out of the ring! This gets Davis annoyed and Ric gets right in the ref's face! While they're having a screaming match Barry Windham helps Dustin to his feet and clobbers him a couple times before lays him out with a clothesline! Poffo tells Gene there's his dilemma right there. "The Nature Boy" is calmed down now and lets Dustin have it with a couple knee drops while from the back appears... Tommy Dreamer?!
He's got a singapore cane and he's looking pissed as he heads down to ringside after Barry Windham! He and Barry begin brawling about the ring while on the inside Ric Flair has Dustin Rhodes down on the ground and looking in bad shape. He grabs his legs and lets out a WOOOO! Figure-four leglock! Figure-four leglock! Dustin is screaming in pain and clawing toward the ropes! But they aren't getting any closer and he taps! Flair has won it!
Dreamer sees this, backs off Windham; and begins screaming at Flair! "The Innovator of Violence" threatens Ric with the singapore cane and "Nature Boy" backs off with Windham, letting Tommy check on his tag-team partner Dusty Rhodes, who's dazed but otherwise okay.
Back from the break "The Redneck Rebel" Doug Gilbert and the ECW Light Heavyweight Champ Cousin Jamie are having themselves a hoedown in the middle of the ring. Lanny reminds Okerlund that they're now "Double" Lightweight Champs and Okerlund rolls his eyes telling him "whatever."
Match: Doug Gilbert vs. Tommy Dreamer
S.D. Jones starts the match and Doug Gilbert takes the fight right to Tommy Dreamer who seems to be feeling the effects of his earlier fight with Barry Windham a bit. The two men brawl about the ring until Gilbert drops Dreamer with a bulldog and locks in the Clawhold! "The Innovator" screams in pain and begins to fade, but rallies back and scooping Doug up hits a backdrop! He makes the cover! 1!... 2!
Gilbert kicks out! Dreamer keeps on top of his opponent and hands Doug a beating for a bit before running the ropes and... gets tripped up by Cousin Jamie! Dreamer argues with the Lightweight Champ on the outside when he is attacked from behind by "The Redneck Rebel!" Dreamer however ducks the attack and counters with a side Russian legsweep! He hooks Doug's leg! 1!... 2!...3!
Tommy Dreamer has pinned the Gilbert! And he's now pointing to Cousin Jamie and shaking his head! He gestures to his waist, signalling that he wants the Light Heavyweight Title! Cousin Jamie hugs the belt close and shakes his head! He's backing up the ramp and Tommy hops out of the ring to give chase! Okerlund laughs at this and says that Tommy Dreamer who's already one half of the Tag-Team Titles seems to be after a second belt. Lanny says he'd better lay off that New York pizza a bit if he's looking to break into the lightweight division.
Back from the break we see Beulah McGillicutty fighting with a Coke macine which apparently stole her money. She's frustrated and cursing under her breather when she turns to see who's just walked up beside her. It's...
ECW Women's Champ Jacqueline Moore! "Miss Texas" just eyeballs Beulah as she punches the machine and out drops the soda. McGillicutty thanks her, but Jacqueline tells not to. She heard what Beulah had to stay last week. How Moore "shook her up." Well that's good. Because that's just what Jacqueline is here to do. Shake up the Women's division once more, because she just wasted the last couple of months in USWA and every Wednesday night she saw the same thing, toothpick thin Barbie dolls like Beulah trying to call themselves wrestlers. She tells Beulah that while she might have been Women's Champ once, she's nothing but a glorified valet who got lucky once. But now a real competitor holds the belt. And nothing McGillicutty can do is gonna change that. So she'd best watch her little white ass if she knows what's good for her. Because "Miss Texas" Jacqueline Moore is back.
Match: Douglas Williams vs. Tully Blanchard
"The U.K. Kidd" Douglas Williams puts in an impressive showing against Tully Blanchard, even hitting the Horseman with his patented Chaos Theory waist lock backwards roll transitioned into a bridged German Suplex which gets him a two count from referee Danny Davis. Tully Blanchard however keeps pace with the younger grappler and proves to be to much for him when he hits Williams with a slingshot suplex which nets him the win.
Okerlund and Poffo welcome us back from the last commercial break of the evening before hyping tonight's huge Main Event which will see former ECW Champion "Macho Man" Randy Savage face off against the legendary "Immortal" Hulk Hogan to determine which man will face "The Soul Stealer" Papa Shango for the Eastern Heavyweight Title. Lanny says the winner of tonight's match will be the real loser, having the face the maniacal Dark Circle. They then discuss Hogan and Savage's rivalry here in ECW from Randy costing Hulk Hogan his Title match against the Inter-Promotional Champion Chris Jericho to there match back on November 7th which Hogan won, to Savage's defeat of The Hulkster at Wrestle Annual; ending with Hogan's challenging Savage to a # 1 contender's match which leads us here tonight!

Main Event # 1 Contender's Match: Randy Savage vs. Hulk Hogan
Randy Savage poses for the fans before coming face to face with Hulk Hogan whom he laughs at, mockingly slapping his elbow. Okerlund reminds us that last week Hogan attempted to finish off his opponent "Rock 'N Roll" Buck Zumhoff with Randy's finished, only to miss and nearly lose the match. The insult isn't lost on The Hulkster who decks Savage! He drives him back into the ropes with several punches before going for a whip and takes Randy's head off with a big boot! He Hulks up as the crowd goes nut!
This gives Randy some time to recuperate however and approaching Hogan from behind he rakes Hogan's back! And as the fans boo, he does it again! He then proceeds to whip Hogan hard into the turnbuckle and follows him in with the running high knee. Climbing up on the second rope he begins raining down some punches! 1! 2! 3! 4! fi- Hogan comes alive and throws "Macho Man" Back and down into the canvas! He runs over and connects with an elbow drop before pulling his opponent up to his knees and begins hammering his skull in! Then pulling Randy to his feet locks in a bear hug! Randy screams in pain and tries to fight out, but soon begins to fade. Savage goes limp and Jones grabs his hand and drops it. He does it again and the hand falls once more. Hogan is putting on the pressure as the hand drops for the crucial third fall.
But it stops halfway! And Randy starts going nuts throwing blind punches as he attempts to wiggle free! Hogan is shaking his head however. He's not letting go! But "Macho Man" clubs Hulkamania on both ears, freeing himself! He runs the ropes and drops Hogan with a lariat takedown! He runs the ropes again as Hulk staggers to his feet, but this time leapfrogs him and in midair transitions it into a sunset flip! Hogan's shoulders are down! 1!... 2!...
Hogan kicks out! And he looks pissed, but Savage keeps on top of him; beating on Hulk as he gets up to one knee. Hogan however is shrugging off the blows! He's shaking his heard furiously and he's Hulking up! He catches Randy's hand and waves his finger at him before firing back! The two men are throwing punches in the center of the ring! Getting the worst of it though, Randy lets lose with a jab to the eye and runs the ropes! He goes airborne looking for a flying crossbody! It connects, bu Hogan catches "Macho" in mid-air and slams him right into the mat! He makes the cover! 1!... 2!
Savage kicks out! Both men are getting back to their feet and voodoo drums begin to play?! The lights go dark, mist fills the arena; and before Hogan or Savage can get a handle on what's happening they're being attacked!
It's The Dark Circle! Mongo Vyle and Rhino are leading the charge, stomping and beating the holy Hell out of both men! Matt Borne and his Circus of Doom are helping too as the Eastern Heavyweight Champ Papa Shango climbs the steel steps with the ECW Title draped over his shoulder. Luna Vachon helps "The Soul Stealer" into the ring and soon he's directing traffic with Matt Borne hoisting Savage to his feet and whips "Macho Man" hard into the corner where "The Man-Beast" Rhino charge in with The Gore striking spear! Borne then does the same to Hogan who soon finds himself on the receiving end of the the Mongo Masher full nelson bomb! Both Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage are down and out as Papa Shango lets out a war cry, sending chills through the arena as he menacingly blows a fireball up in the smoke filled air!

12/26/95 - West Virginia University Coliseum Morgantown, WVAfter wishing everyone a Merry Christmas "Mean" Gene Okerlund and "The Genius" Lanny Poffo welcome us to the West Virginia University Coliseum in Morgantown, West Virginia for another exiciting edition of Eastern Championship Wrestling! The talk about last week's show for a bit including the Tag-Team Champions run-in with Four Horsemen members Ric Flair and Barry Windham, but mostly focusing on the Main Event which saw "The Immortal" Hulk Hogan face off against his longtime rival "Macho Man Randy Savage." A match without a clear win thanks to a brutal attack on both men at the hands of the ECW Chamion "The Soul Stealer" Papa Shango and his villanous Dark Circle stable.
They then hype tonight's huge card which will see the Bayou Boys looking for revenge against the Tag-Team Champs Dustin Rhodes & Tommy Dreamer after "The Innovator's" defeat of Lighweight Champ Doug Gilbert on last week's show, both Barry Windham and "Mr. Wednesday Night" Rob Van Dam in single's action and in our huge Main Event, the Eastern States Champ Sir William Regal will be looking for some payback against the Dark Circle when he goes one on one with the leader of the Dark Circle; ECW Champion Papa Shango! Also tonight we've got word we'll see the return of...As if on cue Rick Rude's strip theme hits! And "The Ravishing One" struts on down to the ring where he thanks "fatty" Joel Gertner for handing him the mic. He says for all these West Virginia hillbilly sisters not to get excited because he won't be needing any help removing his robe tonight. In fact that's one thing "Ravishing" has never needed. Help. Which is why the only person Rick Rude is finding fault with tonight is himself. At Wrestle Annual II he dropped the ball. And it isn't the first time. Whether it was losing the IC Title to the Warrior, the TV Title over in ACW to that stupid Indian or right here losing the Eastern States belt earlier this year to that overgrown Kraut; it's always been for one reason. And one reason alone. Rick Rude choked. He has a history of it. He reaches that next step. That next plateau and right when he's about to be the man. He fails. And that's exactly what happened three weeks ago at Wrestle Annual. He got overconfident and he dropped the belt to "The Soul Stealer." But that isn't going to happen again. From here on out Rick Rude is going to make Papa Shango's life a Hell on Earth. He isn't leaving ECW again. He's staying right here. And he isn't going to rest until the Eastern Heavyweight Title is right back where it belongs. And that's around his perfectly formed waist.Match: Sexton Hardcastle vs. Barry Windham In the first match of the night Sexton Hardcastle gets in some offense including a huge missile dropkick off the top that sends Barry Windham staggering back into the ropes. When he looks to follow it up with a bulldog, Barry Windham who has dominated most of the match counters by scooping Hardcastle up and nails him with a back body drop, dazing the young grappler before running the ropes and laying Sexton Hardcastle out with a running clothesline that gets him the three count from Danny Davis. Match: Rick Rude vs. B. Brian Blair Rick Rude is back out and this time does get some help removing his robe from a West Virginian girl whom he picks from the audience, before slipping her some tongue. He gets no help however in his match with "THE Killer Bee" B. Brian Blair which has some nice back and forth before "The Ravishing One" puts and end to it with the Rude Awakening delayed hangmen's neckbreaker while S.D. Jones makes the count. After the match we're brought in front of the ECW banner where ECW Correspondent Terri Runnels is talking with The Four Horsemen with "Nature Boy" Ric Flair. Flair is irate over the facto Tommy Dreamer interfered in his match last week and tells "The Innovator" he hasn't created anything. That "The Naitch" created this business. That the Horsemen created Hardcore and he's gonna create an all new move when he gets his hands on him and little pal Dustin Rhodes when he sticks that little stick of his where the sun don't shine! Wooooo! Match: Rob Van Dam vs. Steve Blackman Danny Davis officiates in this hard-fought contest between "Mr. Wednesday Night" Rob Van Dam and "The Silent Assassin" Steve Blackman who almost scores the three with a fisherman's suplex and has RVD in a bad way when he traps him in a guillotine choke with body scissors. Blackman's manager Captain Lou Albano does his best to keep his man in control of the match, but Rob Van Dam continuously battles back and after failing to put Steve Blackman away several times; finally picks up the win via the 5-Star Frog Splash."Mean" Gene and Lanny welcome us back from the break before reminding us that next week's show; the first of the year; will be coming to us live from The Patriot Center in Fairfax, Virginia and that while tickets for that show are sold out, those folks stuck at home should be sure and tune in right her on ECW's home station of TNN The Nashville Network to catch all the exciting action here at Eastern Championship!Tag-Team Match: Rhodes/Dreamer vs. Bayou Boys The Double Light Heavyweight Champs come down to the ring and have their little hoedown Dosey Doeing about the ring before the Tag-Team Champs Dustin Rhodes and Tommy Dreamer arrive on the scene. Dreamer starts things off mocking Cousin Jamie like he did last week, gesturing to his waist because he's going to take his Title. This sets Jamie off and he catches Dreamer off-guard battering him across the ring and knocking him to the floor gives him a dose of boots. Pulling Tommy up to his feet and going for a whip proves to be a mistake however when "The Innovator of Violence" reverses and pulling Cousin Jamie in takes the Lightweight Champ's head off with a clothesline! He makes a cover and barely gets a two. He continues to work Jamie over with several power moves and holds before going for a back body drop that Jamie rolls out of, landing behind his opponent. CJ runs the ropes and drops Dreamer with a hurrancanrana before nailing him with a Shining Wizard, which "The Genius" insists The Bayou Boys refer to as the Gleaming Klansman. He makes the cover. 1!... 2!...
Dreamer just barely kicks out. Jamie is still in control, but Doug Gilbert wants in and gets the tag. Inside the ring "The Redneck Rebel" immediately locks Dreamer in the Clawhold looking for some payback for last week. He yells at Dreamer's whose nose he pulls back and demands that Tommy "squeal." He refuses and a a distraction from Dustin Rhodes to S.D. Jones allows Tommy to free himself with a low blow! He begins beating on Doug for a bit before scooping him up onto his shoulders letting "The Rebel" have it with a fireman's carry takeover. He then stumbles over and tags in Dustin Rhodes. Together the duo hoist Doug up to his feet and swing him across the ring with a huge whip before dropping him with a double clothesline! The duo exchange a high five before Dreamer is led out of the ring by Jones.
Cousin Jamie however uses this opportunity to charge into the ring after Rhodes! Dustin sees him however and the Lightweight Champ gets hit hard with a scoop powerslam! As Jamie rolls from the ring Dustin begins working Doug over. He hits Doug with a vertical suplex, getting a two count before picking him up again and getting slapped away! Gilbert runs the ropes and sends Dustin reeling with a dropkick! He has Dustin on the fence for a bit, but the Champ soon recovers and Rhodes is well on his way to winning the match after flattening Doug with a lifting falling DDT when Ric Flair's music hits! This causes Dustin to look to the ramp where he sees...The Four Horsemen! Flair is pointing at Dustin and he's yelling something as he leads his men down to the ring. Doug Gilbert is now back up and fighting back. Dustin keeps a weary eye on the Horsemen who pace about ringside, argue with Dreamer; but don't attack. The distraction is enough however as Dustin Rhodes ends up falling victim to the Hot Shot flapjack dropped into a hangman courtesy of Doug Gilbert who picks up a big win for the Bayou Boys!He barely has time to recover however when all hell breaks loose as a hesitant looking Arn Anderson enters the ring with Tully Banchard and the duo begin beating Dustin Rhodes whom they end up laying out with a double spike piledriver! On the outside Barry Windham and Ric Flair double team Dreamer, beating him to the floor before "The Naitch" orders Windham to hold Tommy up while Flair goes under the ring and finds himself a singapore cane! He holds it up to Dreamer with a big grin on his face and after jawjacking Dreamer a bit about "not messing with God" he lets him have it with the cane! He lets him have it again before Windham drops him and down on his hands and knees Dreamer takes a third cane shot to the back before Flair has had enough and heads to the back. The Bayou Boys meanwhile have decided that discretion is the better part of valor and left the ring in a hurry.Match: Spike Hughes vs. Junkyard Dog S.D. Jones starts the match and little Spike Hughes is on fire. He uses his speed to outpace Junkyard Dog dropping the big man with a Frankensteiner and a diving clothesline before JYD has time to recover. When he does The Dog looks pissed and takes out his frustrations on Spike whom he hits so hard with a headbutt that he busts Hughes open! He concentrates on Spike's head, at one point biting the wound and looks to be on the verge of winning the match when he goes for the Thump! front powerslam! But Spike slides free and pushes Junkyard into the corner where he hits him hard with the corner springboard cutter! 1!... 2!...
JYD kicks out! Spike attempts to keep The Dog down, but Junkyard fights his way up to one knee, then his feet. The two men begin trading punches and Spike takes the worst of it. Getting an opening, Junkyard Dog cracks him with yet another headbutt before hitting the Thump! powerslam this time laying Spike out for good. After the break we're brought back to the ECW banner where ECW correspondent Terri Runnels is now talking with the Tag-Team Champions Dustin Rhodes and Tommy Dreamer who're looking a bit worse for where, Dreamer nursing a black eye with an ice pack. They're both pissed with Dreamer saying that he knows the Four Horsemen by reputation. Knows that fighting in a pack is where they're in their element. Like dogs. But just like a rabid dogs, they're going to be put down. Dustin talks about his past experiences with the Horsemen and says that him and Dreamer are the Tag-Team Champs for a reason. They're the best in the business. And that if the Four Horsemen are looking for a fight? Well... they found one.Match: Beulah McGillicutty vs. Brandi Wine Brandi Wine keeps former Women's Champ Beulah McGillicutty on her toes for a bit, disorienting her with an airplane spin toward the end of the match before kicking Beulah in the gut and going for the DDT. McGillicutty blocks it however and roughs Brandi up for a bit before locking in the Regal Stretch arm trap cross-legged STF and forcing her to tap out. Davis raises Beulah's hand in victory.Okerlund and Poffo welcome us back from the last commercial break of the evening before hyping tonight's big Main Event that will see ECW Champion "The Soul Stealer" Papa Shango face off against the Eastern States Champion Sir William Regal. They talk about how at Wrestle Annual Regal defeated Shango's minion "The Ring Master" Matt Borne after interference from Pogo the Clown was stopped by "Iron" Mike Sharpe at ringside. This led to a tag-team Main Event the following week between Borne's Circus of Doom and the team of Regal and Sharpe. While Canada's Greatest Athlete scored the pin on Borne that night; he and Regal were the real losers when they found themselves the victims of a heinous attack by Papa Shango and the Dark Circle. While Regal suffered some minor burns, Sharpe took the brunt of it; when the voodoo priest force fed him a mysterious black goop that put him in a catatonic state which he has since recovered from but at a horrible price. Mike Sharpe's in-ring career has come to an end as a result of his injuries that night. Since then William Regal has returned and has requested this match here tonight where he's looking for some major payback by taking out the Dark Circle's leader, the ECW Champion Papa Shango himself!
Gertner: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first weighing in at 243 lbs. and hailing from Blackpool, England; he is the Eastern States Champion Sir William Regal!
Regal comes out and heads down to the ring where he shakes hands with referee S.D. Jones, handing over his Title before the lights go out, smoke fills the arena; and voodoo drums beat. On the ramp appears the ECW Champion Papa Shango with the entire Dark Circle in tow.
Gertner: And now introducing at this time the challenger tonight hailing from the Depths of Hell (or Delaware as we like to call it) and weighing 270 lbs.; accompanied to the ring by The Dark Circle; he is the Eastern Heavyweight Champion "The Soul Stealer" Papa Shango!Main Event: Papa Shango vs. William Regal William Regal doesn't wait for Jones to start the match and goes right after Papa Shango the second the smoke clears. (literally) He begins wailing on the bewildering voodoo priest who hasn't even had the time to remove his top hat or the ECW Title. He hammering away on Shango, battering him back into the ropes where he whips him across the ring and knocks him flat with a running forearm smash. Pulling "The Soul Stealer" up to the feet he hits a snap suplex. He doesn't go for the cover however, instead putting the boots to Papa Shango. Okerlund and Poffo dicuss how Regal is just out to hurt Shango here tonight, but Lanny still think Regal is nuts for asking for this match. Clearly great thinkers don't come from Britain.
Jones meanwhile pulls Regal away from Shango warning him to calm down. This gives "The Soul Stealer" some time to recover as he uses the ropes to pull himself up to his feet. He's still leaning against them when Regal comes charging in and Shango pulls down the ropes letting the Eastern States Champ topple out to the floor below! Regal hits the ground hard, but manages to get to his feet just in time to see Papa Shango who's run the ropes and let out a voodoo cry charge across the ring and launch himself through the ropes in a tope dive! He hits Sir William hard, sending him crashing into the steel guardrail! With Regal down, Papa begins stomping the Brit out and The Dark Circle begin swarming like vultures! S.D. Jones hops out of the ring to order them back which causes Lanny to label the ref to be even crazier than Regal is! Shango however holds out his hands and stops his minions and while Regal staggers to his feet grabs him by the head and runs him face first into the steel ringpost! The Eastern States Champ seems to be out cold while Shango rolls back into the ring and riles the booing crowd up more with his voodoo antics! He wants Jones back in the ring, delivering the count; and when Jones is too slow to move; Marr Borne and Mongo Vyle grab the ref and roll him back in!
S.D. Jones is pissed and threatens to call for the bell, but a look from Shango has him start the count. On the outside William Regal starts to stir and stumbles up to his feet. He makes it back in at 9, but gets a boot to the head from Papa Shango for his troubles. Lifting his opponent up to his feet, "The Soul Stealer" whips Regal hard into the opposing corner and follows him in with a theatrical body avalanche! With Sir William dazed in the corner, he hoists his enemy up onto the top turnbuckle. Shango goes for the superplex! But Regal blocks it! And tosses Shango back down into the ring! The voodoo priest hits the canvas and rolls up to his feet... only to get clobbered back down with a dropkick! With his opponent down Regal puts him in the Regal Stretch arm trapped cross-legged STF! Papa Shango is in trouble! He's screaming in pain and attempting to claw his way to the ropes! He isn't gonna make it!
But with one last reach he does just that! Regal is stunned and as he lets go, Papa Shango spins around and lets loose with a face full of Voodoo Mist! Regal falls back clawing at his eyes! The ref however didn't see it as Matt Borne was busy running interference! And "The Soul Stealer" is back up on his feet! He's on Regal in seconds and locks in the Anaconda Vice!! Shango is cackling maniacally as the Eastern States Champ cries out in pain! He's blind and too far from the ropes! Regal taps! The ECW Champ has just beaten the Eastern States Champ!!! Dropping Regal Papa Shango gets to his feet and raises his hands triumphantly as Matt Borne brings him the Title. The Dark Circle is now in the ring and things aren't looking good for Regal when...Best Hulk Hogan Tribute Real AmericanHogan's music hits! And out comes "The Immortal One!" Hulk Hogan isn't slapping any hands tonight, but Hulkamania IS running wild as he charges down to the ring and clubs Rhino with a hard left! He's on fire and he's letting everyone have some! Matt Borne goes down! Mongo Vyle goes down! And now he's clobbering the ECW Champ! Shango falls back! But soon the numbers game seems to be catching up to Hogan! It's a dogpile on The Hulkster! Hogan is taking a beating when Vyle and Rhino pull him up to his knees! Shango is spouting off some voodoo mumbo jumbo. And out comes the cauldron! He's going to pour the liquid all over Hogan! This could spell the end of his career!!Macho Man Randy Savage Theme songBut "Macho Man's" music hits! And he's headed down the ramp! He leaps into the fray with a diving clothesline and bodies go everywhere! The cauldron spills everywhere and the black goo has splattered all over the midget Dink!! Dink is running around screaming in terror and Randy Savage explodes all over the Dark Circle! And Hogan is soon up too! The duo are fighting The Dark Circle on all fronts! But once again the numbers game catches up to them after Shango clobbers Hogan with the steel cauldron! Soon Savage is down too! And the Dark Circle is still laying the boots into "Macho Man" and "The Hulkster" as the...
