Sorry about this one being late guys. Had no electric the past week and had to write this up real quick this morning. 11/03/95 - Washington D.C."Here I Am Rocking Like a Hurricane" by The Scorpions plays as "Rock 'N Roll" Buck Zumhoff appears on the set of a brightly colored talk show set with a Rock 'N Roll/Wrestling theme. He is limping a little but boogies on out and high fives several of the cheering kids and their parents before getting on the stage before them. He then introduces himself as AWA Legend and former ECW Lightweight Champion; and wrestling's one and only true "Rock 'N Roller" Buck Zumhoff!'He then welcomes everyone to another episode of ECW Slammin' Saturdays Season 3! He then says he has an exciting show for us today. In the Main Event we'll see Omega Horsemen members The Hardy Boyz in action! He then heads over to the broadcast booth where he introduces his co-host "Captain" Lou Albano! The two men as usual give one another the cold shoulder.Joel Gertner handles the intros for the first match of the night.Match: Devon Hughes vs. Doug Basham Devon Hughes comes down the ring with his tag partner Spike Hughes accompanied by some James Brown and Danny Davis starts the match. Doug Basham gets some good offense, but he's mostly in trouble until getting hit by a big spinebuster from Devon Hughes which gets Devon the win. Testify! The ECW Light Heavyweight Champ Doug Gilbert is with his Bayou Boys partner Cousin Jamie in this pre-recorded segment where Jamie is gonna count to 10! 1, 2... 3, 4, ...er 5.... ...... "6!" Doug interjects, but Jamie holds out 8 fingers and tells us "10!" Doug facepalms and shakes his head.Match: Leilani Kai vs. Rockin' Robin Rockin' Robin does her best, but mostly ends up getting squashed by the former ECW Women's Champ "The Hawaiian Princess" Leilani Kai who takes her out with the diving Splash off the top.Steve Corino and Jason Venom are with the Hardy Boyz in this pre-recorded video from the "next generation" of wrestling and why they're the very best this business has to offer and the future of the sport. And how with wins over the so-called "legends" The Four Horsemen; things are about to get X-Treme!Tag-Team Match: The Hardy Boyz vs. Power & Glory The Hardy Boyz want no part of Hercules Hernandez in this one and do their best to keep the best of the original Horsemen (according to Corino who's annoying us at ringside) isolated in the ring. The Hardyz use quick tags and get to show off their offense including the Whisper in the Wind from Jeff and a guillotine legdrop off the top from Matt off the top. Roma hangs in there however and after a surprise dropkick to Jeff followed by a suplex; Paul makes the hot tag to Hercules Hernadez!
The big man comes in and cleans house with a clothesline first to Matt and then to Jeff! And Corino gets one to as he foolishly climbs inside! He keeps the Hardy Boyz on their toes for a bit, getting a near three on Jeff whom he plants with a powerbomb; but eventually "Mr. Wrestling's" antics on the outside pay off and Matt Hardy manages to plant Hernandez with a DDT before tagging in Jeff Hardy who follows it up with the Swanton high-angle senton Bomb for the win!
Buck Zumhoff then says that he knows these kids like Wrestling; but do they love Rock'N Roll as much as "The Rock 'N Roller" himself? He then sends us to a music video featuring the entrance music of the Hardy Boyz!Nirvana - Smells Like Teen SpiritFinally Buck Zumhoff says that time is almost up for this week's show and that it's now time for Slammin' Saturdays Main Event feature; the Wrestling Rewind. He says that this week's Rewind is from ECW's big event Hotter Than Hell which took place on November 9th of last year and featured former ECW Champion "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson against "Wildfire" Tommy Rich in a match to advance in a Tournament to determine the # 1 Contender for the ECW Title at ECW's biggest PPV of the year; Wrestle Annual!11/09/94 Main Event: Arn Anderson vs. Tommy Rich When Arn Anderson goes to lock up with Tommy Rich, Rich backhands him. "The Enforcer" looks pissed and grabbing the offending arm locks in an arm wrench. Rich squeals in pain but doesn't surrender; making it over to the ropes where Davis has Arn release the hold. Anderson doesn't back off of "Wildfire" however and clubbing him against the ropes whips him across the ring. He ducks to quick however for a back body drop and Tommy catches AA with a kick to the chops. Rich gets a couple free shots in as Arn reels back; but soon the two men are going punch for punch in the middle of the ring with "Wildfire" seemingly getting the worse of it. Grabbing Rich by the head, "The Enforcer" busts his face over his knee and takes his stumbling opponent by the hand and Irish whips him into the corner where he stomps a mudhole in him. Tommy isn't just about to lay down however and when ol' AA lifts him up onto the top turnbuckle; Rich rakes his eyes before hitting Arn with a bionic elbow that sends him sprawling onto his ass. Jumping from the top turnbuckle Tommy hits Arn with a diving elbow drop as he attempts to get to his feet and making the cover Rich just squeaks out a two count. Keeping on Arn, Tommy locks in the sleeper hold; keeping his opponent grounded. Arn however while fading isn't giving up and gets to all fours before fighting his way up to his feet and proceeds to jump onto his back squashing Rich. Anderson then makes the cover but only gets the two from Jones. Back on his feet first, Arn delivers a knee drop to Rich followed by another. Quickly he lifts Rich to his feet; but "Wildfire" rolls him up! 1!...2!... Arn kicks out. Both men are quick to get back to their feet, but Rich is a bit quicker and catches Arn in a front facelock as the two men brawl about the ring. Finally having taken enough punishment; AA lets Rich have it with a sitout jawbreaker over the top of his head. Tommy Rich stays on his feet but looks like he's somewhere else as Arn Anderson scoops him up and brains him with The Gourdbuster. Making the cover he picks up the win. Jones holds Arn's hand up in victory before "The Enforcer" exits the ring. Just then there's a disturbance in the ring! Arn turns to see Jerry Lawler and Brian Lawler swoop in on the recovering Tommy Rich. "Wildfire" attempts to make an escape; but Jerry catches him by his tights and pulls him into the ring as Rich throws Arn Anderson a pleading look. Arn just shrugs before heading up the ramp.
Meanwhile inside the ring Brian Lawler is holding Tommy Rich in place with a full nelson. Jerry Lawler says that he knows Tommy thinks it's funny how he eliminated both him and his son from the Heavyweight Title Tournament. That Rich thinks he's in the right coming here to Eastern Championship to settle some perceived personal injury he suffered from "The King." But if Rich remembers rightly; it was Jerry himself whose damned head got shaved! And it's a favor he's always dreamt of returning. Just then Tommy Rich's eyes bug out of his head as Jerry produces a pare of barber's sheers! Rich begs for Jerry to stop as he begins cutting Rich's hair off!Just then the man we've seen previously in the motorcycle helmet emerges from the crowd. He's still wearing the mask and is carrying a bat. He storms the ring and smacks Jerry Lawler with it from behind! "The King" drops the sheers while Brian Lawler drops Tommy Rich and the duo flee the ring to escape the masked man. Tommy Rich yells at The Lawlers while his associate inspects his butchered head.
Lights Fade.

11-07-95 - Hampton Roads Coliseum Hampton Roads, Virginia"Mean" Gene Okerlund and "The Genius" Lanny Poffo welcome us to the Hampton Roads Coliseum in beautiful Hampton Roads, Virginia. They then briefly recap last week's show where we saw Barry Windham's arrival in ECW during a six-man tag match in which Scott Taylor forced former ECW Champion Steve Corino to tap out the figur four, Eastern States Champ William Regal get dismantled by the Circus of Doom; and in the Maine Event ECW Champion "Ravishing" Rick Rude defeat the Junkyard Dog only to then get attacked in a shocking return by the villainous Papa Shango! Lanny isn't happy at all having "The Soul Stealer" back, or about being in Virginia for that matter.
They then hype tonight's show saying we're on the road to Eastern Championship's biggest show of the year, Wrestle Annual II! Which once again will be held in the Madison Square Garden Felt Forum in Manhattan, New York. They inform us that as of yet no matches have been signed, but tonight we'll be seeing the first round in a Tag-Team tournament to determine the # 1 contender's for the Tag Titles at Wrestle Annual II! And as we witnessed last week "The Immortal" Hulk Hogan and "Macho Man" Randy Savage signed a contract to wrestle in this week's monstrous Main Event!"Fire" by Scooter then plays and out from the back storms an anxious looking Steve Corino with the Omega Horsemen in tow. He gets the microphone from Joel Gertner before telling us that last week's match didn't count and the result should be thrown out. He says that Scott Taylor didn't beat him. That Scott Taylor didn't beat him. Barry Windham did. That Windham stuck his nose where it didn't belong. That last week wasn't scheduled to be a four on four tag-team match. That you didn't see Jason Venom getting involved, but there was big, dumb Barry Windham sticking his redneck in. And that while Barry's time will come, tonight he wants Scott Taylor in this ring one on one. Because "Mr. Wrestling" is going to prove once and for all that Taylor isn't fit to lace the boots of Steve Corino!Arn Anderson then appears on the ramp. And he has Tully Blanchard, Barry Windham; and Scott Taylor with him. "Then Enforcer" tells us that everyone in this arena and everyone in this business knows what seeing the men on this stage means. Even the quartet of nitwits in the ring right now. Because for them it means a whole world of trouble. Tully then takes over and tells us that Arn is right. The odds are even now. And for the so-called Omega Horsemen that spells doom. Cause from here on out they're going to make it their mission to wipe the four of them not only from this promotion, but from this industry. Windham then gets on and thanks Arn and Tully for giving him the call. He saw these punks on tv night after night looking to get their heads bashed in. And well? Barry loves himself a fight. And when they called looking to get the band back together, how could he refuse? Arn then gets back on and warns Corino and company to get out now while they still can. Cause they don't have any idea what they're getting themselves into. That with Taylor who's proven himself time and time again to Arn here in ECW, there are four of them now too. And we all know what that number means. Scott Taylor then gets the mic and says that it's an honor to fight side by side with Anderson, Blanchard; and Windham. But tonight if Steve Corino is looking to step in this ring with him one on one? Well then it's on.After they leave the ring Joel Gertner makes the intros for the first match of the night.Tag-Team Match: Dustin Rhodes & Tommy Dreamer vs. Sex & Violence Danny Davis officiates in the first Tag Tournament match of the night as Dustin Rhodes starts things out with Sexton Hardcastle. Though Sexton gets some offense in, the far more experienced Rhodes takes him to school and dominates the early goings. There's alot of interference however by Hardcastle's partner Joe E. Legend and the duo constantly and flambouyantly double-team Rhodes to give themselves an unfair edge. They make several pin attempts as they tag in and out but are unabe to get the pin on Rhodes who keeps rallying back. Eventually Tommy Dreamer (and the fans) have had enough and "The Innovator" enters the ring and tackles the illegal Legend who he proceeds to hurl out of the ring. While Davis is distracted by this, Dustin Rhodes sets Sexton Hardcastle in the corner and hits him with the Shattered Dreams running low blow! He then dominates Hardcastle for a bit before tagging in Tommy Dreamer who has laid out Joe E. Legend on the outside with a lifting side slam onto the concret floor. Once inside Tommy and Dustin set Sexton Hardcastle up for a double DDT that connects and Dreamer picks up the win. After the match the duo share a drink from Dustin's flask which he proceeds to pour all over their defeated opponent. After the break ECW Correspondent Terri Runnels is with Eastern States Champion Sir William Regal. He isn't impressed with the "new" Matt Borne at all. Or the way he attacked him last week. He says that Borne has never had what he takes to defeat him one on one and isn't surprised he's gathered a group of jackals to help him now. He's okay with "The Rindmaster" being back however. He ran him out of Eastern Championship with his tail between his legs once. And he has no problem doing so again.
Back at ringside weird lights spin about the arena as circus music plays. Already inside the ring is ECW Women's Champ "Mad Dog" Luna Vachon who's with the Circus of Doom; Matt Borne, Pogo the Clown and Dink. They're having a good laugh at Regal's message.Match: Luna Vachon vs. Velvet McIntyreThis non-Title match is short and sweet. Velvet McIntyre gets some offense in, but falls victim to the Luna Bomb corner slingshot splash.Tag-Team Match: The Lawlers vs. The Huges Brothers The announcers are surprised to sees The Lawlers who haven't been seen since they lost the Tag-Team Titles back in September. They put them over as the longest reigning champions in ECW history. Brian Lawler starts thing out with Spike Hughes and they have some good back and forth. The Hughes Brothers put up a good fight with Devon Hughes getting a nearfall on Brian with a spinebuster, but in the end they're simply out-classed by their opponents and Jerry lawler puts little Spike away with a piledriver for the win from Danny Davis. After the match we're brought backstage where Beulah McGillicutty and Ivory are looking very unhappy as they sit together in the office of ECW President Eric Bischoff. Eric is his usual charming self and tells the girls that he taken their request under consideration and has decided that next week he's going to grant them the Loser Leaves Town match they requested for next week. He wishes them both luck. They both seem very pleased with the decision. After hearing about Wheaties (now with Hulk Hogan on the box!) we're once again brought to ECW Correspondent Terri Runnels who's in front of the ECW banner with "The Doctor of Style" Reverend Slick and "Hacksaw" Butch Reed. Slick is indignant and doesn't know what the hell happened with Brickhouse last week having not spoken with him since...When Papa Shango interrupts?!! Slick and Terri recoil in fear, but Butch only does a double take and asks "Brickhouse?" Papa Shango's eyes bug out of his head and he gets in the face of Slick and Reed whom he corrects with "Papa!.... Shango!" He then tells Terri that last week on the devil's night the forces of The Dark One aligned in the formation of Azazel, bring forth the return of "The Soul Stealer" himself, Papa Shango! In time, just in time to lay vengeance on his old enemy Rick Rude. And that was just a beginning. For now that he has returned the path of destruction he reeks upon ECW will be without bound. Blood will flow freely. Flesh will be rent asunder and The Dark Circle will rise again when Papa Shango shall stand before the world the ECW Champion!! Shango then storms off leaving Terri, Slick; and Butch speechless.
At ringside Okerlund and Poffo look just as stunned. "Mean" Gene suggests Brickhouse Brown really did hit his head too hard back in September, but Lanny calls him an idiot; that was obviously "The Soul Stealer" Papa Shango. And he would know being a "Genius" and all. They then welcome us back before reminding us that next week ECW will be coming to us live from the Charleston Civic Center in Charleston, West Virginia. And that while tickets for that show are sold out, those folks left at home should be sure and join us right here on Eastern Championship's home station of TNN THe Nashville Network.Match: Scott Taylor vs. Steve Corino S.D. Jones gets the sad task of officiating this one. Steve Corino isn't looking to wrestle and attempts to hurt Scott Taylor anyway possible, choking him out mutliple times using the ropes and his foot. Jones keeps breaking it up and after getting dominated a bit, Scott Taylor rallies back with a Lou Thesz Press and beats the hell out of Corino for a while as the fans cheer him on. "Mr. Wrestling" however escapes by gouging Taylor's eyes and then hoists him in the hair and lays him out with a backdrop before stomping the shit out of him. The ref tries to pull him off and Steve pushes him aside continuing the assault and gets DQed. He isn't done however and pulls Scott up to his feet and throws him into the corner. He then runs back and charges in with a running high knee only to get an elbow in the face from Scott who follows this up with a right hook that bloodies Steve Corino's face! He then climbs up top as Corino reels about and connects with a missile dropkick knocking the former Champ to the floor! The fans are cheering when suddenly from the back The Omega Horsemen appear!Jason Venom hits the ring first and sliding in launches up and takes Scott Taylor down hard with a lariat! Taylor folds like an accordian and Steve Corino gets back to his feet pissed and yelling as he feels his bloodied nose. Taylor attempts to get up, but big Jason Venom steps on his back pinning him to the floor when Corino orders him to hold him down. Steve holds his nose and he walks across the ring. The crowd comes alive as Arn Anderson, Tully Blanchard; and Barry Windham appear on the scene and rush down to the ring! It's too late however as Steve Corino charges across the ring and viciously punt kicks Scott Taylor in the head! He and the Omega Horsemen then vacate the ring and disappear into the crowd as Anderson, Blanchard; and Windham come to Taylor's aide. Scott Taylor isn't waking up as Arn Anderson shakes him though and a medic is called. He's taking out on a stretcher as ECW goes to... Back from the break we see Scott Taylor loaded into an ambulance while Anderson, Blanchard; and Windham look on. We're told be "Mean" Gene that it's too early to tell, but the paramedics are thinking Taylor has suffered a serious concussion due to the heinous kick in the head he received at the hands of Steve Corino. Lanny reminds "stupid" that one kicks with their feet."You're the Best Around" by Joe Espisito hits! And from the back explodes the Inter-Promotional Champion Chris Jericho! He swaggers down to the ring with his belt about his waist and the black baseball bat in his hand before taking the microphone off Gertner. He thanks "fatty" before telling us that he's come out here to give us all an overdue break from that crybaby Scott Taylor. Wah. Wah. My head hurts Uncle Arn. Whatever! What he's out here for is to talk about the one thing everyone is asking about. What we all wanna know. And that's just who "The Long Island Loud-Mouth" Chris Jericho's opponent is going to be at Wrestle Annual 2?! And the answer is.... well Chris wants to know too! Now of course... he has this here bat. Which of course belongs to that yellow chickenshit Sting. But he isn't about to give him another chance not to show up. So he's moving on....Chris is interrupted however and someone appears on the big screen! His face isn't visible and he appears as a mere silhouette. But he's laughing. Kind of disturbingly. He tells Chris that he feels sorry for him. That he's known Jericho for years and still "The Loud-Mouth" cannot fathom who he is. He tells Jericho that he's an even bigger fool for ever believing he was Sting. That this goes much deeper than a mere Title match.
Chris is flabbergasted and screams for his stalker to show himself, but the man just chuckles again and the screen goes black.Tag-Team Match: The New Orient Express vs. The Bayou Boys Before the match The Bayou Boys are cheered by the fans as they have a hoedown in the ring, even getting referee Danny Davis to join in. The New Orient Express are led to the ring by "The Diabolical One" Mr. Fuji and are all business. Despite their clowning antics, The Bayou Boys are both skilled competitors and there's some great back and forth action between the two teams with everyone getting a good amount of ring time before Yoshihiro Tajiri hits Cousin Jamie with a face full of green mist over the top rope while Fuji distracts the ref and the legal man Masato Tanaka hits the stunned hillbilly with the Dangan Bomb for the win. Afterwards the ECW Lightweight Champ Doug Gilbert helps Jamie from the ring.Tag-Team Match: Destruction Inc. vs. Deep South S.D. Jones officiates the last Tag Tournament match of the night. Though Destruction Inc. has the youth and size advantage, old veterans Junkyard Dog and Dick Murdoch get in their fair share of offense in. Mongo Vyle and Rhino look like they have things well in hand and dominate the second half of the match when Mongo Vyle misses a body avalanche in the corner on Murdoch who connects with a running bulldog and makes the cover! 1!... 2!... "The Machiavellan Mauler" kicks out, but that isn't enough for the team's valet Takako Inoue who's been screaming at the duo the entire match. Frustrated Vyle heads to the corner and has a heated argument with her, when Takako holds off and smacks him! Mongo is stunned by the hit, but is even more shocked when he is spun about; scooped up and hit with a Brainbuster courtesy of "Captain Redneck!" JYD rallies the fans to count along as Murdoch picks up the win. As Deep South celebrate their victory, Mongo Vyle and Rhino argue over Takako Inoue."Mean" Gene and Lanny welcome us back from the last commercial break of the evening before hyping tonight's huge Main Event. They discuss Hulk Hogan and "Macho Man" Randy Savage's storied rivalry and later partnership from their days in the WWF, one Okerlund labels legendary. They then talk about Hogan's arrival here in Eastern Championship Wrestling challenging Chris Jericho for the Inter-Promotional Title, which didn't sit well with "Macho Man" who says that he singlehandedly put this company on the map and doesn't want to share that spotlight with The Hulkster. Needless to say Hogan wasn't about to just leave quietly and went ahead with the match, only to be robbed of his chance late in the match. Tonight Hulk Hogan is looking for revenge on his former friend/foe Randy Savage. Or as Lanny likes to call him "an acquaintance." "Pomp and Cirmcumstance" then hits at "Macho Man" Randy Savage emerges from the back with Debbie Combs in tow.
Gertner: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first from Sarasota, Florida weighing in at 237 lbs. and accompanied to the ring by "Hot Stuff" Debbie Combs; he is "The Macho Man" Randy Savage!
Savage enters the ring and poses for the fans before referee Danny Davis checks him for weapons.
Best Hulk Hogan Tribute Real American
And Hulk Hogan appears on the ramp! He cups his ear and the fans cheer before he heads down to the ring exchanging high fives.
Gertner: And now introducing his opponent at this time from Venice Beach, California weighing 302 lbs. he is "The Immortal" Hulk Hogan!Main Event: Randy Savage vs. Hulk Hogan Jumping inside the ring Hulk Hogan puts on a show for the fans posing and even rips off his shirt! Randy Savage however isn't impressed and blindsides him causing Davis to start the match. Savage batters Hogan across the ring and into the ropes where the ref breaks them up. After giving Davis a hard time, Randy finally relents and him and Hogan face off in the ring. The two men circle about the ring sizing one another up a bit and talking some trash before they finally lock up. The two men test one another's strength, but the bigger Hulk Hogan wins out and as "Macho Man" looks to escape, The Hulkster traps him in an arm wrench! With his free arm Randy fires back hitting Hogan in the face, but he just gets all wide-eyed and shakes it off! He puts the pressure on Savage's arm, but eventually Randy manages to reverse it and captures Hogan in a side headlock! He manages to get Hulk down on one knee, but quickly Hogan powers up to his feet and forces "Macho Man" back into the ropes where he whips him across the ring! Savage counters on the rebound with a crossbody press that only gets him a one count before Hogan powers out hard!
Hogan looks annoyed as he gets back to his feet and the two men stare one another down again for several seconds before they once again lock up and Hogan easily pushes Savage back across the ring! He mocks Randy as he recovers his footing and the fans eat it up. Savage however is pissed and charges "The Immortal One." He manages to catch Hogan from behind, but Hulk blocks a suplex attempt, counters Randy with a headlock and takes him down to the mat! "Macho Man" looks like he in some trouble for a bit, but rallies back with some of the audience getting behind him as he fights his way to his feet and drives Hogan into the ropes where he whips him, but Hogan counters with a lariat and make the cover! 1!... 2!
Savage kicks out! This time the two men go right at it and begin throwing punches as they get back to their feet. After several minutes of battling back and forth however Hogan scoops his oponent off his feet and slams him down to the mat before once again locking in the headlock! Okerlund thinks that Hogan wants Savage to quit! Lanny doubts that'll happen. Randy fights his way up to his feet once more and whips Hogan into the ropes! On the rebound however Savage ducks down and allows Hogan to run right past him! On the way back a second time however Randy leaps up and nails The Hulkster with a dropkick! He hooks the leg as he makes the cover! 1!... 2!
Hogan kicks out! Keeping on top of his opponent this time it's Randy's turn to lock in a headlock. The Hulkster is trapped! He begins to fade as Randy locks in the hold and works over his neck. Hulk looks like he's almost out of it just before he begins slowly shaking his head and the fans get behind him as he Hulks up and fights his way to his feet before hoisting Savage offf of his and body slams him! Hogan goes for the cover, but Randy is right back up and charges into Hogan and eats a suplex! Hulk hooks the leg! 1!... 2!
Savage kicks out! Hulk Hogan is looking frustrated as he gets back to his feet and pulling Randy up to a seated position begins beating his head in! But Savage grabs the ropes and Davis breaks them up. Hogan won't be denied though and grabbing Savage hits him with a front powerslam before cupping his ears for the crowd, running the ropes and hitting the Atomic leg drop! This has gotta be it! 1!... 2!..
Randy refuses to stay down! Hogan is going to keep him there however as he locks in another headlock. But Savage breaks free and scrambles to his feet and charges Hogan taking him down with a shoulder tackle! He runs the ropes as Hulk gets back up and drops him again, this time with the running high knee! "The Immortal One" is down as Savage catches a breather before returning to Hogan and helping him to his feet where "The Macho Man" begins unloading on Hulkamania! He hammers on Hogan repeatedly driving him back into the ropes before whipping him and connecting with a lariat takedown! He floats over for the cover! 1!... 2!
Hogan kicks out! Both men are looking tired, but it's Randy Savage who's up first and assaults Hulk with several knee drops before making another cover. 1!.. 2!
Hulk kicks out! This time climbing over the prone Hogan, Randy locks in the Camel Clutch! But Hogan fights his way out temperarily blinding "Macho Man" with several elbow strikes! Hogan staggers towards the ropes looking to catch a breather when Randy charges across the ring grabs Hogan's head, leaps over the top rope and connects with the hairpull hangman! Hogan bounces off the rope and hits the mat hard while Savage agiley lands on the outside on his feet! Randy climbs up onto the apron while inside Hogan gets back up to his feet. He recovers just in time to see Savage hop up like a cat onto the top rope and hit him with a sprinboard clothesline! He makes the cover! 1!... 2!...
The Hulkster stays in the fight! Hogan just won't quit as Randy begins putting the boots to him! Hulk is really taking some punishment as Randy mockingly cups his ears, runs the ropes and hits the Atomic legrop! And receives an ass full of canvas! Hogan has rolled out of the way! Hogan is back up on one knee shaking furiously as Randy Savage pops back up and eats a clothesline! He hits the ground, pops back up and Hogan treats him to another! Hulk Hogan is running wild about the ring! As Randy staggers back up to his feet he eats multiple punches from The Hulkster as he beats him about the ring! Savage is reeling, but he recovers when he catches Hogan's fist! Hulk shakes his head in disbelief, but Randy decks him! Hogan fights back, but "Macho Man" gets the better of him and grabbing Hulk by the head goes for the vertical suplex! But Hulk Hogan blocks it and goes for his own! Savage blocks it and there's a struggle as the two men try to wear one another out with several shots to the ribs! And "Macho Man" goes airborne! Hulk Hogan has connected with the vertical suplex! He rallies the fans behind him, runs the ropes; and connects with a second legdrop on Randy Savage! He makes the cover! 1!... 2!... 3! Hulk Hogan has won it! And Hulkamania is running wild through the arena as the...
Lights Fade.

11-14-95 - Charleston Civic Center Charleston, WV"Mean" Gene Okerlund and "The Genius" Lanny Poffo welcome us to another exciting edition of Eastern Championship Wrestling! They thanks us for joining them here tonight at the Charleston Civic Center before briefly recapping last week's show including the massive Main Event in which "The Immortal" Hulk Hogan pinned "Macho Man" Randy Savage, the first round of the Tag-Team Tournament; and former ECW Champion Steve Corino's vicious kick to the head of Scott Taylor. Early word is that Taylor suffered a serious concussion and will be out of action for the imediate future. Gene wishes him a speedy recovery and says he's sure we'll here more about that tonight.
They then hype tonight's huge show which will see the semi-Final rounds to determine the # 1 contender's for the Tag-Team titles at Wrestle Annual II as The Lawlers face Deep South and the team of Tommy Dreamer and Dustin Rhodes battle The New Orient Express. Also a Loser Leaves Town Match is scheduled between two former Women's Champs as Ivory faces Beulah McGillicutty, the Eastern States Championship will be on the line as William Regal defends against the monster known as The Blitzkrieg in a rematch from Old School Rulz; and in a huge Main Event, straight off his win against "Macho Man" Randy Savage; Hulk Hogan will face "The Rugged One" Ronnie Garvin! Just then they're joined by...The Baron Von Raschke?! He has the Tag-Team Champs, his Ubermensch Aryan von Raschke and The Blitzkrieg with him. They're here to study their opponents for their weaknesses as Joel Gertner makes the intros for the first Tournament Match of the night and Gene doesn't like it one bit. Tag-Team Match: The Lawlers vs. Deep South Deep South want their shot at the Titles and take the fight right to the former Tag Champs, getting a nearfall after hitting Brian Lawler with a headbutt/Brain Buster combo that knocks his lights out. Jerry Lawler makes the save, stopping referee S.D. Jones' count at two. Junkyard Dog and Dickie Murdoch keep Brian in peril for a bit trapping him in their corner with quick tags and thwart his attempts at a comeback. Eventually however "Captain Redneck" grabs Brian's leg as he attempts to escape and he hops around with a corkscrew kick to the face! Stumbling across the ring he makes the hot tag to his father and "The King" unloads on Dick Murdoch whom he nearly puts away with a DDT. Murdoch manages to tag out sometime later and Jerry and Junkyard Dog square off in a fierce battle which ends when Jerry Lawler hits the Flying Fist Drop on JYD for the 1, 2,3. After the match we're brought backstage where Eric Bischoff is approached by the ECW Light Heavyweight Champ Doug Gilbert who's with his Cousin Jamie. He tells the ECW President that as the Lightweight Champ he feels he should have a Match at Wrestle Annual II! Bischoff crushes his dream however telling him that isn't going to happen. But he will give him a match the night before and that his opponent will be determined next week in a huge 20-Man over the top Battle Royal! ECW correspondent Terri Runnels is with "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson, Tully Blanchard; and Barry Windham in front of the ECW banner after the break. Arn is noticeably upset and tells us that he just got in from seeing Scott Taylor at the hospital. He says that what Steve Corino did last week was heinous. That he wasn't looking to just defeat Taylor, but end his career. Luckily Scott is expected to make a full recovery, but he could very well be out of action for months. "The Enforcer" hopes however that Corino didn't think this act was going to save his sorry ass however. That by eliminating a member of his team he'd be balancing the odds somehow. Because back in WCW they had this little thing called War Games. And that's exactly the type of match that's going to take place at Wrestle Annual II. It's going to be "Mr. Wrestling" and his Omega Horsemen cronies in their little corner and it's going to be Arn's team in the other. Four on four. Two rings. In a steel cage. Arn then rhetorically asks Tully is he just said four on four. And Blanchard tells him he did. Arn Anderson then gets an evil smirk on his face and tells Terri that's exactly what he meant. At Wrestle Annual II. In a steel cage encompassing two rings. Four on four. Steve Corino had better be ready for a war.Match: Erin O'Grady vs. Steve Blackman After tossing gold coins to the crowd "The Leprechaun" Erin O'Grady gives as good as he gets in this match officiated by Danny Davis. He and "The Silent Assassin" Steve Blackman fight back and forth, trading pin attempts; but neither seems to be able to put the other man away until Blackman's manager Captain Lou Albano becomes the deciding factor when he takes O'Grady's cauldron and brains him with it! As Erin O'Grady staggers from the blow he walks right into a bridged Fisherman's suplex which nets Steve Blackman the win. After the break weird lights are panning around the ring while circus music plays. Inside the ring are the Circus of Doom already waiting while Gertner makes the intros.Match: Pogo the Clown vs. Cousin Jamie There's a ton of fight in Cousin Jamie, but this one's hopeless as the much larger Pogo the Clown dominates him before Burying Him in the Basement. He laughs maniacally as S.D. Jones looks relieved to be making the count. After the match we're taken to a promo by an irate "Macho Man" Randy Savage who doesn't dig his loss to Hulk Hogan one bit. He tells us how him and Hogan have had their issues in the past. They've had titantic tussles. Yeah. And he isn't taking nothing away from The Hulkster. In each f their epic encounters he's brought it. And last week was no different. But last week? Hulk Hogan got lucky. Yeah. Cause here, right here in Eastern Championship "Mach Man" Randy Savage isn't just "Macho Man" Randy Savage. He's THE Man. As THE Man nobody, but nobody does what Hogan did last week and just walk away. Savage wants his chance to prove that last week was a fluke. And he's gonna get just that. Cause Hulk Hogan is gonna face him at Wrestle Annual II for a rematch! Ooooh Yeah!Lanny and Gene welcome us back from the break before reminding us that next week's show will be coming to us live from the Cleveland Public Auditorium in Cleveland, Ohio. They go on to tell us that while tickets for the show are sold out, those folks at home can tune in to catch all the action on Eastern Championship's home station of TNN The Nashville Network.
They then talk a bit about Savage's challenge to Hulk Hogan for a rematch at Wrestle Annual II before the break. Lanny doesn't think Hogan should give him one as he already put "The Macho Chump" down for the 1! 2! 3! Oooh yeah! Okerlund seems impressed with Poffo's impersonation, calling is "scary." They then discuss the next match of the night in which Eastern States Champ Sir William Regal will face the man he beat for the belt "Mangler's Monster" The Blitzkrieg in a rematch from Old School Rulz!Eastern States Championship Match: William Regal vs. The Blitzkrieg Before the match Danny Davis warns The Blitzkrieg's manager The Baron Von Raschke and his son Aryan to keep their noses out of the ring. They don't and throughout the match everything that could go wrong, does go wrong for poor William Regal who gets dominated at several points throughout the match, eating massive clotheslines, a military press drop, a big boot (which busts him open), a tilt-a-whirl slam; and the Chokeslam from Berlin throughout the course of the match. At one point The Baron even gets physically involved, applying the Brain Claw on Regal while "Mangler's Monster" chokes him out on the bottom rope while Aryan keeps Davis distracted. William Regal gets in his share of offense however and when The Blitzkrieg charges him in the corner, the Champ moves out of the way allowing his opponent to slam mask first into the turnbuckle Aryan exposed earlier! From there William Regal hits the Regal Cutter arm trap neckbreaker and squeezes out a win to retain the Title.Regal is battered and bloody after the match looking like he's on the verge of collapse as he's handed his Title when Circus music is heard for the second time tonight and the Circus of Doom rush down to the ring ready to pounce! Lucky William Regal sees the quartet coming and hops the barricade disappearing into the crowd.Back from the break The Baron Von Raschke is once again at ringside much to Poffo and Okerlund's annoyance. They ask and he tells them that The Blitzkrieg's loss to Regal tonight is a minor setback for his men. That they're already going to Wrestle Annual II as the ECW Tag-Team Champs and nothing can stop that. He says that at the event they will mangle and slaughter whichever team is unlucky enough to win this Tournament. And that sooner rather than later The Blitzkrieg will bring the Eastern States Championship back to the greatest country in the world, The Republic of Germany.Tag-Team Match: Dustin Rhodes & Tommy Dreamer vs. The New Orient Express Dustin Rhodes starts things off in this one against "The Japanese Buzzsaw" Yoshihiro Tajiri. The two teams battle back and forth looking very impressive as Tommy Dreamer gets a nearfall on Tajiri with a DDT, Masato Tanaka would've had it won with a Dangan Bomb on Rhodes had "The Innovator" not made the save, Tajiri hit the handspring back elbow on Tommy which he followed up with a springboard moonsault for a two count; and Dustin Rhodes used the Final Cut vertical suplex lifted and dropped into a snap swinging neckbreaker on Tanaka.
Mr. Fuji cheers his team on (and interferes a bit) and neither team has the clear advantage until while Masato Tanaka is battling it out with Dreamer, Tajiri lets loose with the Asian Mist on Tommy! But Tommy Dreamer ducks it and Masato takes the brunt of it instead! From there Tommy Dreamer hits Masato Tanaka with a theatrical piledriver and picks up the win from referee S.D. Jones. Dreamer and Dustin share a drink from Rhodes' flask while at ringside a displeased Baron Von Raschke mutters something about having to fight filthy Americans either way now.
Lanny and Gene talk about the two teams The Lawlers and Rhodes/Dreamer who'll face one another on next week's show in the final round of the Tag-Team # 1 contender's tournament while the ring is cleared. "You're the Best Around" by Joe Espito then plays and Okerlund facepalms at the arrival of the Inter-Promotional Champion Chris Jericho!"The Long Island Loud-Mouth" starts off by telling everyone that he might have been wrong. That perhaps there's a chance his stalker isn't really Sting. But.... that doesn't mean this someone isn't after him. And he's racking his brain since then. Wondering who it could be? I mean how could anyone in their right mind hate Chris Jericho?! And the answer was simple. You can't. So obviously this guy whoever he is, is depraved. Is a psychopath. Is off on the loony farm. Which narrows it down some. Mostly down to ex-girlfriends, but narrowed it down a bit. And he sure hopes to hell it isn't little Lucy van Pelt. A picture of a grade school girl appears on the screen.
She was vicious. Used to pull Jericho's hair. And she, never, ever let him win at football. But thankfully he doubts it's her. She's married and has kids now. So who can it be? What coward is waiting out there, lurking in the shadows? Well last week Jericho demanded that person come to this very ring and show themselves. So where are they? Huh? Come on out! He rants a bit more, but it becomes obvious no one is showing when..."White Train" by Tito & Tarantula hits and out swaggers ECW President Eric Bischoff?! Jericho acts like he's in shock that Bischoff is his stalker. Eric assures us it isn't him but says he is worried. He tells us that Wrestle Annual II is the biggest show in this business and that he doesn't want a repeat of Jericho's match at Old School Rulz. He can't afford for another no show and he doubts these fans want that. But.... last night he got a strange visit to his office from a lawyer. A lawyer who claimed to represent Chris' little stalker. And that representative had a binding contract. Already signed. And it's for a match. At Wrestle Annual II. Now considering it doesn't name the mystery man in question, Eric was naturally skeptical of this. However it also has a stipulation in it that says should the mystery man no-show; ECW will be awarded $10,000,000 in damages!
Now as we all know when Eric Bischoff is out here it means business is at hand. At ten million is a whole lot of business as far as Eric sees it. So he doesn't know who the mystery man is and really he doesn't care. He had his lawyers look the form over and it's legit. So all Bischoff wants is for Jericho to sign it. Chris looks annoyed as Eric holds the papers and the pen up to him. But he eventually relents and signs on the dotted line! Chris Jericho will face...! Well, we don't know. But he'll do it at Wrestle Annual in two weeks! Okerlund thinks however that Chris just made a deal with the devil.Back from break we see Mongo Vyle and Rhino, who're collectively known as Destruction Inc. getting their ear chewed off by Takako Inoue. She storms off in a huff and Vyle shrugs toward "The Man-Beast" when in comes... "The Soul Stealer" Papa Shango?! "The Machiavellan Mauler" however isn't intimidated and gets right in Shango's face! He asks him what the hell he wants? Papa Shango doesn't backdown either however and tells Mongo and Rhino that he is the messenger of the Dark One. He tells them that he gazed upon the Eye of Agamatto and it spoke to him of Destruction Inc. It spoke of their recent woes. And how they could be enfolded into the Dark Circle. But only at a price. First they must rid the cause, the cancer eating away at them. And that problem, that Achille's heel be Takako Inoue!
Vyle tells Shango he'd better scram before he shoves this Ear of Amaretto somewhere unkosher, but "The Soul Stealer" eyes him wildly for several seconds causing Mongo to back off with a "whatever." He complains to Rhino as we're taken back to ringside.Loser Leaves Town Match: Beulah McGillicutty vs. Ivory Danny Davis has his hands full as Beulah McGillicutty and Ivory have it out one last time. Both women resort to some hair pulling and other cheap shots throughout the match, but there's alot more wrestling than their last brawl with several pin attempts by both women. Ivory takes the wind out of Beulah McGillicutty's sales when she hits her with the Poison Ivory sitout facebuster for the 1! 2! 3!
No wait! Beulah managed to kick out at the last second! This pisses Ivory off and lifting McGillcutty up to her feet she hits the Moretti Driver! But this time she doesn't make a pin attempt and instead starts punishing Beulah further. She dominates her for several minutes, hitting a clothesline and snap suplex before lifting Beulah to her feet and whipping her across the ring! On the rebound however she ducks to early and Beulah kicks her in the jaw before planting her with a DDT! Ivory is down as Beulah McGillicutty heads up top and comes off with the Beulahsault! With which she connects! She hooks Ivory's leg and picks up the win! Ivory has wrestled her last match in Eastern Championship! After the match we're taken in front of the ECW banner once again where ECW correspondent Terri Runnels is talking to the ECW Champion "Ravishing" Rick Rude! Rude tells Terri not to get herself too excited. He's only back here to talk. And what he wants to discuss is a certain delusional second-rate flunky called Brickhouse Brown. You see, two weels ago. In that horrid lighting. With the voodoo playing like we're in some ignorant Third World nation? Well sure. In that get-up. He could be mistaken for Papa Shango. But see, last year "The Ravishing One" stepped into the ring with "The Soul Stealer" on several occasions. And Brickhouse? He don't stack up. He's a good foot shorter for one thing. But one thing they do have in common? They're both a few stacks short of a Waffle House if they think they can compete with the finest physical specimen in the sport today. And he's not talking about that Beulah babe. No. He's talking about "Ravishing" Rick Rude. But obviously when "Shango" left his tiki hut he was looking for a fight. And that's exactly what Rick Rude is going to give him!Rude is looking rather pleased with himself when suddenly Papa Shango attacks him! Rick Rude fights back, but he never really recovers from being blindsided by the witch doctor, who hits him with a Death Valley Driver on the concrete floor while Terri looks on screaming in horror! Finished with his victim Papa Shango gets in Runnels' face and shouts "Papa!... Shango!"Okerlund and Poffo then hype tonight's huge Main Event which will see two former NWA Champions go at it for the first time ever as "The Immortal" Hulk Hogan faces "Rugged" Ron Garvin hot off the heels after Hogan's win against former ECW Champion "Macho Man" Randy Savage.
Gertner: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first from Montreal, Quebec, Canada weighing 231 lbs. he is "The Rugged One" Ronnie Garvin!
Garvin heads down the ramp looking pissed off as usual and shakes hands with referee S.D. Jones as Hogan's music hits!
Best Hulk Hogan Tribute Real American
Gertner: And introducing his opponent this evening from Venice Beach, California weighing in at 302 lbs. he is "The Immortal" Hulk Hogan!
Hulk Hogan heads down to the ring slapping high fives with the fans and getting inside poses a bit before tearing off his shirt. Garvin doesn't look terribly impressed.Main Event: Hulk Hogan vs. Ronnie Garvin The bell rings and after an initial feeling out process, Hulk Hogan goes right on the offensive taking Ronnie Garvin down with a hard right hand. Garvin pops up and eats another. When he gets up the second time however Hogan throws him into the corner and begins unloading on him. "The Rugged One" attempts to fight his way out, but The Hulkster grabs him and whips him across the ring, taking him down with a clothesline on the rebound. Grabbing Garvin by the head as he sits up, Hogan begins pounding on him but this time Ronnie manages to get to his feet and hit Hogan with a shoulder strike to the gut. Hulk knees him to the face knocking him back to the mat however. Pulling Ronnie Garvin up to his feet Hogan attempts to run Garvin face first into the turnbuckle; but "Rugged" blocks it! And slams Hogan face first into it instead! Climbing up onto the second rope Garvin leaps off the corner looking for a double axe handle but instead eats a clothesline! Hogan makes the cover! 1! 2!
Garvin kicks out! But The Hulkster covers him again! 1! 2!
Ronnie kicks out! Grabbing Garvin as he gets to one knee Hulk traps him in a rear headlock! Garvin grits his teeth and struggles a bit before freeing himself with a headbutt to Hogan's ribs! Ronnie is back up on his feet and Hogan opens fire on him! But this time Garvin fires back! Grabbing Hulk's face he rakes his eyes sending Hogan back into the corner where "The Rugged One" lets him have it with a series of punches before whipping him across the ring and follows him into the corner with a clothesline! Ronnie then mocks the crowd a bit as they begin to boo. Lifting Hogan up to his feet Ronnie runs him across the ring and attempts to hurl "The Immortal One" out, but Hogan grabs the ropes blocking it! He begins shaking the ropes as Garvin begins chopping and punching his back and no-selling the assault Hogan turns on his opponent and waves his finger at him! Not having it however, Ronnie grabs The Hulkster by the arm and sends him crashing down to the mat with an armdrag! He follows this up with a leg drop and signals for The Garvin Stomp! He begins stomping the crap out of Hogan, but he's Hulking up with every blow and the fans are getting behind him. Ronnie grabs The Hulkster, but Hogan slaps him away!
And he comes in swinging! He knocks Garvin about across the ring and into the corner where he Irish whips him across the ring, no, Ron reverses! Hogan hits the corner hard and Ronnie charges in! But Hogan gives him the boot, only to have Garvin catch it! He attempts to pull Hulk out of the corner, but Hogan gets his other leg up and kicks his opponent away. Garvin goes down on his knees and The Hulkster panders to the crowd before dropping to both knees, grabbing Ron's head and smashes it into the canvas! He does it again, hammering "Rugged's" head into the mat repeatedly before getting to his feet, letting him up and dropping Garvin once again to the mat with a double chop. Ron seems a bit dazed as Hogan begins to choke him out with his foot! Jones is quick to break this up and Hogan helps Garvin to his feet before once again going for the whip. But Garvin once again reverses it and hits Hogan hard with a running elbow smash! Hulk goes down to one knee, but Ron throws him back onto the mat and hits him with several knee drops and stomps before Hulk Hogan comes alive and grabs his foot! Ron seems surprised as Hogan gets up shaking his head and using "The Rugged One's" foot spins him right into an atomic drop!
Hogan gets all fired up shaking about the ring as Ron Garvin staggers back up to his feet and walks right into a hurricane of punches from The Hulkster who proceeds to whip him across the ring and connect with the big boot! "The Rugged One" goes down hard as Hulk Hogan signals for the Atomic Leg Drop! He runs the ropes and it connects! 1! 2! 3! "The Immortal One" has pinned Ronnie Garvin!Just then "White Train" by Tito & Tarantula hits and once again from the back comes ECW President Eric Bischoff. He congratulates Hogan on his win here tonight. And his win last week against "The Macho Man" Randy Savage. It's because of these wins that Bischoff has reached a decision about Wrestle Annual II. And that is on next week's show Hulk Hogan will be in a # 1 Contender's Match for the Eastern Heavyweight Championship. Against "The Soul Stealer" Papa Shango! With the winner facing "Ravishing" Rick Rude for the Title at Wrestle Annual II!!
Hogan is pleased with this and claps his hands, shaking his head as the crowd cheers him on. We get word from "Mean Gene" and Lanny that there's been a disturbance backstage and the camera quickly cuts to the back where we see an irate "Macho Man" Randy Savage destroying his dressing room and several wrestlers coming to see what's going on as the...Lights Fade.

10/21/95 - Delaware"Here I Am Rocking Like a Hurricane" by The Scorpions plays as "Rock 'N Roll" Buck Zumhoff appears on the set of a brightly colored talk show set with a Rock 'N Roll/Wrestling theme. But first some of you folks at home might be wondering while "The Rock 'N Roller" is sporting a Hulk Hogan shirt? He gestures to the shirt he's wearing before telling us that it's just one of several new ECW styles that can be found at your finer clothing retailers or by calling 1-800-BUYECW! They then show us several new styles (mostly ones debuted at Old School Rulez) as well as several from the back catalog. Zumhoff then wraps up the adver... ahem, segment by doing his best Hogan impersonation by ripping off his T-shirt and heading down to the broadcast booth where his co-hoster "Captain" Loue Albano is seated wearing an Omega Horsemen t-shirt?!Buck's eyes bug out and Albano asks him what the hell was he expecting; that stupid Buck Zumhoff t-shirt? He says he's a big Omega Horsemen fan. His favorite moment all year was when that Hardy kid introduced a baseball bat to ol' Dumhoff's knee. Buck looks annoyed as he takes his seat to call the first match. Joel Gertner handles the intros for the first match of the night.Match: The Blitzkrieg vs. Al Green Though "Big" Al Green does his best to mount some offense, he is no match for "Mangler's Monster" The Blitzkrieg who tears him apart before putting him away with the Telegraph from Berlin chokeslam. The Baron Von Raschke cheers his protegee on from ringside as Danny Davis makes the count. The Lawlers are here to brag about how they're the longest reigning tag-team Champions in ECW history at 8 months.Match: Erin O'Grady vs. Battle Kat Erin O'Grady has some luck today as well in this back and forth battle between "The Leprechaun" and the maked Battle Kat who dazzle the crowd with several highspots including the Irishcanrana, the Over the Rainbow diving splash; and a tope dive from O'Grady. The Kat gives as good as he gets hitting Erin with a moonsault for a two count and a frankensteiner off the top before falling victim to the Lucky Charm double underhook implant DDT which nets Erin O'Grady the win. A very well groomed Sexton Hardcastle and Joe E. Legend tell us how they've known each other since their school days. And how ever since then they've had alot in common. They were both the best athletes, they both loved to wrestle. They were also were both the most charismatic. Joe in particular was hilarious. Legend however insists Hardcastle was funnier. In addition to this they both have great bodies and were the two best looking guys they knew. Which of course led to alot of resentment from other guys. They were always jealous of them because they always wanted to be like them. But no one could hope to be like Hardcastle or his buddy Joe; isn't that right? Sexton accidentally slaps Joe and apologizes offering to massage the shoulder he hit; which he continues to do while they tell us how it was only natural for the two of them to form a tag-team once they broke into this business. Being they did just about everything together already, coming to ECW to bust some heads and prove that together they're the best in the business seemed to be the perfect fit.Tag-Team Match: Sex & Violence vs. The Dudleys Both Albano and Zumhoff seem to finally be in agreement about something, Sex & Violence make them both a little uncomfortable. Zumhoff says they smile too much and Albano says there's something unnaturally... perfect about their teeth before remembering that Zumhoff used to manage the duo and asks how that little menage a trois got started. Zumhoff however has no comment and turns the attention to the ECW debut of the Dudley Boyz who "Rock 'N Roll" caught a glimpse of in the independents earlier this year.
The Dudleys' (or is it Dudleysi) style is very unorthodox to say the least, with multiple double-team manuevers by Snot and Dudley Dudley who're the legal men in the match. They isolate Sexton Hardcastle in the ring, but S&V's style is a bit unorthodox as well and when Sexton seems to like the double-teaming at one point it freaks Dudley Dudley out and enables Sexton to escape after nailing Snot with an Electric Chair facebuster! He tags out to Joe E. Legend who comes i swinging and takes both Dudleys down with a series of clotheslines before hitting Snot with an atomic drop and going upstairs goes airborne; connecting with a moonsault! 1!... 2!..
The cover gets broken up by Big Dick, who ends up arguing with Danny Davis while Dudley and Snot double-team Legend after Snot connected with a low blow from behind. From there Joe is in trouble and Dudley Dudley attempts a pin after a diving knee drop. The Dudley manages to keep Legend down for a bit, but Joe makes a comeback and after hitting a sidewalk slam on his opponent tags in Sexton Hardcastle. Staying in the ring, Joe E. Legend picks the Double D up into the air wheelbarrow style, while Sexton runs the ropes and connects with a jumping leg lariat at the same time. While Sex & Violence pick up the win, Albano says that according to his notes the move is called The Finger Cuff? Buck doesn't know what to make of it either.
Buck Zumhoff then says that he knows these kids like Wrestling; but do they love Rock'N Roll as much as "The Rock 'N Roller" himself? He then sends us to a music video featuring Sex & Violence's rather strange entrance music.George Michael - I Want Your Sex (Stereo Version)Finally Buck Zumhoff says that time is almost up for this week's show and that it's now time for Slammin' Saturdays Main Event feature; the Wrestling Rewind. He says that this week's Rewind is from ECW's big event Hotter Than Hell which took place on September 28th of last year and featured then ECW Champion "Macho Man" Randy Savage defending his Title against the villainous "Soul Stealer" Papa Shango in a Steel Cage in that night's Main Event!10/19/95 Main Event: Mongo Vyle vs. Randy Savage Mongo Vyle and Randy Savage lock up as Davis starts the match. Vyle immediately takes the offensive and pushes Savage back before laying into him with hard rights and lefts. Randy is caught offguard and driven back into the ropes where Mongo whips him across the ring and nails him with a big boot laying him out. Keeping on top of the Champ Mongo lifts him up to one knee; but Savage slaps out. He nails Vyle with an uppercut before heading back into the ropes, using them for momentum to take "The Mauler" down hard with a running clothesline. Both men hit the canvas. Randy crawls out of the ring to catch his breath on the outside while inside Mongo Vyle is back on his feet.
Savage doesn't see this and Mongo reaches over the top rope and grabs Randy by the hair attempting to pull him up into the ring. "Macho Man" screams in pain and reaching up grabs Vyle by the head causing the big man to lose his balance plummeting out of the ring. With Vyle on the floor Randy put the boots before him befor climbing up on the apron. He waits for his prey to get back to his feet before leaping off and connecting with the diving double axe handle. Vyle falls against the guardrails and taking advantage Savage slams Mongo's face into the steel. When he attemps it again Vyle connects with an elbow to Randy's face before smashing the Champ into the same railing. Inside the ring Davis has counted to six and seeing the danger he's in Mongo hoists Savage over his head and gorilla presses him into the ring stunning the crowd with his strength. He then climbs back in. "
Macho Man" is somewhat recovered however and stumbling to his feet hits a diving shoulder block taking "Th Machiavellan Mauler's" knee out from under him. Vyle is down on one knee when Savage leaps up into the air and plants Mongo face first into the canvas with a jumping leg lariat. He goes for the cover; but Vyle gets his foot up on the bottom rope at two. Grabbing his opponent by the arms Randy attempts to drag him to no avail and when he persists Mongo kicks him in the head. As Randy reels from the kick Mongo gets back onto his feet and grabs the Champ before nailing him with a sitout full nelson atomic drop! It's over! 1! 2!...
Savage kicks out! 3! Randy just kicks out and still looks out of it when Mongo lifts him and begins hammering the Champ's head and back. He goes for a second powerbomb; but halfway through Randy grabs his head holding himself on the big man's shoulders! While seated on Mongo's shoulders he begins pounding him in the head as Vyle stumbles about; finally falling into a corner. There Randy continues to pound on him until Davis delivers the five count. Leaping down into the ring; Savage charges "The Mauler" connecting with a high knee smash! Then grabbing his dazed opponent by the head he hits Mongo with a running bulldog planting him in the center of the ring. The crowd comes alive as Randy points to the corner. He's going up top! Mounting the turnbuckles Randy turns only to see Mongo Vyle is back on his feet!! He leaps anyway; connecting with a flying crossbody press on his dazed opponent! 1! 2!...3! Savage has won it!
Lights Fade.

"Rock 'N Roll" asks which match was that? And Albano replies May 25th's "Mangler's Monster" The Blitzkrieg vs. "Rock' N Roll" Buck Zumhoff of course!! Buck's face goes pale.
Joel Gertner handles the intros for the first match of the night.Match: Douglas Williams vs. B. Brian Blair Danny Davis starts the match and "THE Killer Bee" B. Brian Blair gives Douglas Williams a hard time for a while, nearly taking him out with a sleeper hold midway through the match and gets a nearfall after hitting a missile dropkick off the top. "The U.K. Kidd" however holds his own and picks up the win over the veteran using his signature Chaos Theory waist-lock backwards roll transitioned into a bridged German Suplex.Voodoo drums are a beating a mist is in the air as "The Soul Stealer" Papa Shango informs us of other things that are unlucky in addition to the number 13! Black cats, broken mirrors, stepping under ladders; and of course stepping into the ring with Shango himself!! Mwahahaha!Match: Joe E. Legend vs. Danny Rose This one's more of a brawl than a wrestling match as big Joe E. Legend dukes it out with "Doomsday" Danny Rose. Legend isn't nearly as flambouyant as his tag-team partner Sexton Hardcastle who is in his corner for this one and offers Joe a comforting hug after Rose lets Legend have it with an inverted atomic drop which has him roll out of the ring. After embracing with his buddy (Albano assures us all best friends hug); he gets climbs up the turnbuckle from the outside and countering a superplex from Danny Rose, throws the big man down to the canvas where Joe E. Legend connects with a moonsault for the win. In a pre-recorded promo from The Hughes Brothers, Spike Hughes (filling in for Akroyd) and Devon Hughes (for Belushi) re-enact another scene from The Blues Brothers. Several cowboy wrestlers make an appearance hurling beer including Bob Orton, The Wild Bunch, Black Bart, Ron Bass; and even ECW's own Dick Murdoch.Rawhide - The Blues Brothers (5/9) Movie CLIP (1980) HDTag-Team Match: The Hughes Brothers vs. The Bushwhackers The Bushwhackers are up to their usual tricks and antics as they have fun beating the piss out of little Spike Hughes early on. Eventually Devon Hughes gets tired of the double-teaming and comes in swinging; evening up the odds. The two teams brawl for a bit before Danny Davis can restore some order and Spike Hughes ends up almost getting pinned courtesy of a double clothesline from Luke and Butch. Eventually he makes the hot tag to Devon Hughes who comes in and cleans house with hard rights for both 'Whackers before whipping Luke across the ring and nailing him with the 360 degree corkscrew back elbow smash! He gets up just in time to catch Luke with a big spinebuster that sends him rolling out to the floor! Devon then tags his partner back in and the duo work Butch over a bit before Spike Hughes gets him in a headlock and nails the Mission from Gawd corner springboard cutter for the pinfall, picking up the big win. Testify!
Buck Zumhoff then says that he knows these kids like Wrestling; but do they love Rock'N Roll as much as "The Rock 'N Roller" himself? He then sends us to a music video featuring a favorite of The Hughes Brothers!Muddy Waters plays "Manish Boy"Finally Buck Zumhoff says that time is almost up for this week's show and that it's now time for Slammin' Saturdays Main Event feature; the Wrestling Rewind. He says that this week's Rewind as promised is the Main Event from last year's Wrestle Annual on December 1st in which "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson faced off against then ECW Champion "Macho Man" Randy Savage for the ECW Title!12/01/94 Eastern Heavyweight Title Match: Randy Savage vs. Arn Anderson After posing with the Title Randy Savage hands it over to Danny Davis. Arn Anderson extends his hand to Savage as the match begins and the Champ reluctantly accepts it. After feeling one another out a bit, pacing about the ring; the two opponents lock up. Savage catches "The Enforcer" in a front headlock; but Arn escapes it with a whip and tries to trip Randy up with a drop toe hold on a rebound. "Macho Man" stumbles; but keeps his footing and taunts Arn as they eye one another across the ring.
Meeting in the center of the ring again, this time Arn forces Savage back into the corner where he chokes him with a forearm until Davis counts to four. He then slugs the Champ who falls to one knee while Anderson is warned by the ref. Back up on his feet Randy kicks Anderson in the side and elbows him in the back of the head before running him into the ropes for an Irish whip. On the rebound he hits Anderson with a back elbow that takes him down to the mat where Savage kicks him before lifting "The Enforcer" up to his feet for a vertical suplex. With Arn down on the floor "Macho Man" taunts the crowd before kicking his opponent in the head and climbing up top. He signals for the diving double axe handle; but wastes too much time and back on his feet Anderson crotches Savage in the corner. Randy tumbles forward into the ring and Arn puts the boots to him before running back into the ropes, using the momentum for a fierce kick to Savage's skull. Arn then makes the cover but barely gets a one.
Anderson doesn't let up on Savage and with the Champ in a seated position he hits him with clubbing forearms and lifting him to his feet knees him several times in the face before stepping back and kicking him in the face. Anderson makes a second cover with the same result as the first. As Randy gets back up to his feet Arn hammers him with several hard rights; but the Champ starts striking at Anderson's legs with a few well placed kicks. Arn falls back but then manages to drop Savage with a punch to the gut and the Champ's knees hit the canvas; Arn Anderson strikes with a DDT!
Dragging "Macho Man" away from the ropes Arn goes for the pin; but only gets a two count. Letting Savage sit up Anderson catches him in a rear chinlock! Savage grits his teeth in pain. Randy refues to surrender however and begins shaking his fist to rally the crowd behind him. Battling his way up to his feet he strikes Arn in the gut before finally freeing himself with a headbutt. Running the ropes for momentum he comes back swinging with a clothesline but Arn ducks it and hits the spinning spinebuster! He hooks the Champs' leg. 1!...2!....
Randy just kicks out at the 3! Anderson is on his knees frustrated while Savage crawls to the corner and uses it to steady himself. Once he's on his feet Arn runs in and nails him with a clothesline sending him flopping to the center of the ring. Anderson goes up top and as Randy gets to his feet he leaps off; but Savage sees it a slams him in the gut with a right hook. Savage is in pain rubbing his neck as he knees and punches a recovering Arn whom he whips across the ring and running at him grabs his head and leaps over the top rope nailing Anderson with a hairpull hangman. Outside catches a breather before rolling back in.
Arn is up on one knee and is unable to block the bionic elbow as Randy begins battering him. He throws "The Enforcer" on the floor and sitting on him locks in a headlock; torquing Arn's neck while he growls in pain. The crowd gets behind Anderson and he battles his way to his feet with several back elbows to Savage's midsection. Getting control Arn hoists Randy up over his shoulders; but the Champ rakes his eyes and dropping down connects with an atomic drop! Randy makes the cover only getting a two. It's Randy's turn to be frustrated and after several moments he hits Arn with a high knee smash into the ropes. Anderson doesn't go down however and begins trading punches with the "Macho Man." Grabbing him Anderson attempts suplex; but Savage reverses it into a swinging neckbreaker! He rolls Arn over but he's up again at two.
Getting down on one knee Savage places Arn in a front headlock and works him over but Arn rallies back to his feet and the he begins laying into Savage who stops him cold with a kick to the gut. Grabbing Arn by the tights he runs "The Enforcer" straight into the steel ringpost sending him spilling out of the ring to the floor below. Davis starts the ten count while the Champ follows him out and jumping off the apron hits Arn with a diving double axe handle. Arn sinks down to his hands and knees as Randy begins kicking him. But he manages to grab "Macho's" foot and knocking him off balance sends him crashing to the floor. Arn climbs up the steel steps and leaping off stomps on Savage's legs before rolling him back inside the ring.
Climbing back inside Arn attempts the figure four leglock; but Savage kicks him away and takes him down to the mat with a snapmare before locking in a rear chinlock. Arn fights his way back up to his feet as the crowd chants his name and hammers Randy into the mat with a side suplex! Both men are down and Arn is unable to capitalize. Slowly both Savage and Arn get up on their feet; but Anderson is steadier and begins letting the Champ have it with several hard rights and lefts. He whips Randy across the ring and takes him down with a big shoulder tackle. He watches lying in wait as Randy uses the corner to get back to his feet and comes running in with a clothesline. In a daze Randy stumbles forward and walks right into the Gourdbuster from "The Enforcer!" He hooks the leg! 1!.... 2!....
Randy reverses rolling Arn up! 1!...2!....
Arn kicks out! Both men quickly get to their feet; but "Macho" pokes Anderson in the eyes before nailing him with a lariat takedown. With Arn down on the floor Randy rolls out to the apron where he hops up onto the top rope and launches off to land a flying clothesline on the just recovered Anderson. "Macho Man" hams it up for the crowd while he waits for Arn to get to his feet and grabs him set to deliver the piledriver! But Arn breaks loose and looks to hit another DDT! Which Randy escapes with a deep armdrag! Both men are back on their feet and charge at one another; but Savage pulls a titl-a-whirl backbreaker out of nowhere! He goes for the pin! 1!...2!...
Arn just barely kicks out! Both men are hurt but Savage is up first and heading to the corner climbs to the top turnbuckle. Arn is up before Randy has time to go airborne and punches the Champ in the face before climbing up to the second rope for a superplex. Savage isn't having it and the two men fight up top until Savage sends Anderson down to the canvas with a double chop across the chest. On the top turnbuckle "Macho Man" looks a bit wobbly as he stands and signals for the flying elbow!
Arn sees it and groggily rolls out of the way! Savage hits the ground with nobody home! He's in pain as he gets to one knee and Arn is right there on top of him. Randy Savages lunges forward and Arn Anderson scoops him up nailing him hard with the spinning spinebuster! He makes the cover. 1!...2!...3! There's a new ECW Champion! Arn Anderson has done it! He's beaten Savage!
Seeing this Debbie Combs is wild eyed and grabbing the ECW Title she heads around the ring looking to escape with it to the back; only to run into "The Superstar" Scott Taylor and... Miss Elizabeth?! Taylor seems to be trying to talk Combs into handing over the belt when Elizabeth hits her with a hard right knocking Combs out cold! Taylor looks stunned by this and Elizabeth shrugs as she grabs the Title from Debbie's hands and brings it into the ring where she celebrates with a victorious Arn Anderson who holds the belt high in the air.
Lights Fade.

11-28-95 - Cambria County War Memorial Arena Johnstown, PA"Mean" Gene Okerlund and "The Genius" Lanny Poffo welcome us to another action-packed edition of Eastern Championship Wrestling! They briefly recap last week's show in which Dustin Rhodes and Tommy Dreamer defeated The Lawlers to be the # 1 contender's for the ECW Tag-Team Championships, Matt Borne's Circus of Doom viciously attacked Eastern States Champ William Regal, Barry Windham defeated Jason Venom; and in the main event "The Soul Stealer" Papa Shango defeated "The Immortal" Hulk Hogan to become the # 1 contender for the ECW Championship; with some help from "Macho Man" Randy Savage of course. Poffo swears it was just a slight assist. Gene rolls his eyes.
They then run down tonight's big show with just three days to go before Eastern Championship's biggest even of the year; Wrestle Annual 2! They inform us that on tonight's show we'll witness the Tag-Team # 1 contenders in singles action as Tommy Dreamer and Dustin Rhodes take on The Blitzkrieg and Aryan von Raschke respectively. Man did Dreamer draw the short straw in that one. Also on tonight's program the # 1 contender for the Women's Championship will be determined when Beulah McGillicutty faces off against a returning ECW star, in a huge tag-team Main Event the ECW Champ Rick Rude and the Eastern States Champ William Regal will face their opponents at Wrestle Annual; Papa Shango and Matt Borne; and of course we've been promised by "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson that tonight we will meet the fourth member of his team for the huge War Games match at this year's Wrestle Annual! But first we'll witness the winner of last week's 20-man Battle Royal Cousin Jamie face off against the ECW Light Heavyweight Champion; who's also his own tag-team partner; Doug Gilbert!! Lanny senses trouble on the horizon there and Okerlund says that one of the great things about working with him is his keen observational skills. Lanny thanks him.Just then "White Train" by Tito & Tarantula hits and out from the back swaggers ECW President Eric Bischoff! He reminds us once again that whenever we see his mug out here, it means only one thing; business is at hand. And what business does he have here tonight? Well to promote Wrestle Annual II of course! He hopes that we'll all be there to witness Eastern Championship's 2 year anniversary at the biggest event of them all; for a mere $14.95 how could you go wrong? He then runs down the card for the big show so far.
Women's Championship: Luna Vachon (c) vs. TBD
Tag-Team Title Match: Blitzkrieg & Credible (c) vs. Dreamer & Rhodes
War Games Match: Anderson, Flair, Tully & vs. The Omega Horsemen
Inter-Promotional Title Match: Chris Jericho (c) vs.
Eastern States Championship: William Regal (c) vs. Matt Borne
ECW Title Match: Rick Rude (c) vs. Papa Shango
And he's heard some rumblings that there's at least one more match to be signed. But already, what a card! He's sure no ECW fan will miss what's sure to be the most talked about PPV card this year in this business! He then thanks us all for our continued support and says he'll see us all at Wrestle Annual II!
Joel Gertner then makes the intros for the first match of the night.ECW Light Heavyweight Title Match: Doug Gilbert vs. Cousin Jamie Danny Davis starts the match and anyone expecting the Bayou Boys to cut one another some slack was in for a rude awakening. They lay right into one another employing numerous cheap tactics including eye pokes, eye rakes; and using the ropes for leverage. Davis has trouble stopping Jamie from biting his cousin midway through the match as well. There's plenty of wrestling to be had as well with several reversals and nearfalls as Doug Gilbert hammers Jamie the Michinoku Driver II and nearly tears his face off with a Clawhold that draws blood. Cousin Jamie just keeps coming at him however utilizing a crucifix armbar, a guillotine choke; and several suplex variations before finally putting "The Redneck Rebel" away with the Trailer Hitch modified figure four causing Gilbert to submit and making Cousin Jamie the new ECW Light Heavyweight Champion!
After the match in an amazing display of sportsmanship Cousin Jamie extends Doug Gilbert his hand and helps him to his feet where he drops him with a hard right?! He then proceeds to spit on his cousin. Gene calls the entire contest a despicable display from beginning to end and is pretty certain we've just witnessed the end of The Bayou Boys. After the break the Inter-Promotional Champion Chris Jericho is out in the ring with his Title once again demanding that his stalker reveal himself. It appears his tantrum is falling on deaf ears when a chuckle is heard and the mystery man who's been stalking Jericho for the last half of the year appears, still in shadow. "Chris, Chris, Chris;" the shadow mocks. He tells Jericho that he's surprised he hasn't put two and two together yet. Hasn't looked back into his sordid past and discovered him their lurking in the darkest corner of his mind. But in a way he isn't surprised. Because to get to where "The Long Island Loud-Mouth" is in this business so quickly he had to break alot of eggs. Step over alot of people. Stab friends in the back. And he's been doing it ever since in Calgary. Training in that dungeon. Throughout his time in Mexico, Germany, Japan. He left a trail of blood wherever he went. He says that Chris Jericho is a monster. But that's alright. Because Chris wasn't the only monster it created. He wasn't the only person to come out of there willing to do whatever it takes to make it in this business. And that's unfortunate for Chrissie. Because whether he's calling himself Leon D'Oro, Lion Do; or "The Long Island Loud-Mouth" he can't hide. He can't run. Because wherever he goes he's going to find him. And in three days at Wrestle Annual he will end him.
The big screen goes blank leaving Chris Jericho looking a little shaken. "The Genius" wonders if "The Loud-Mouth" realizes who he is facing.Match: Steve Blackman vs. Joe E. Legend Steve Blackman and Joe E. Legend lock up as S.D. Jones starts the match. Legend gives Blackman a run for his money as the two men fight back and forth, getting two counts off a running flying clothesline and a jumping DDT. "The Silent Assassin" looks like he might be in some real trouble when Joe goes up top looking for a moonsault; but he's pulled out of the way by his manager Captain Lou Albano and Legend hits nothing but canvas. From there Steve Blackman takes over completely with several chops and kicks before putting Joe E. Legend away for the three with a bridged Fisherman's suplex.Back from the break Tommy Dreamer and Dustin Rhodes are standing in front of the ECW banner with ECW Correspondent Terri Runnels who asks them about their upcoming match at Wrestle Annual. Dreamer tells her that he hasn't had anything handed to him. Ever. That as a kid he had to scrape by, provide for himself in the bowery of New York. That he's had to fight for every damned thing he's ever had in his life. Which is why he has thrived in this business. It's sink or swim. Eat or be eaten.
Dustin tells her that he knows exactly what Tommy is talking about. That being the son of Dusty Rhodes, some people falsely believe he had an easy ride in this industry. That things were just handed to him. But that ain't the case. Because everyone thought that. Wherever he went, wherever he goes people see him and they don't think he deserves to be here. That he's only here because his daddy was a wrestler. And he's where he is today because of his daddy's name. And in a weird way that is why he's here. But not in the way you think. No. Dustin Rhodes has had the success he's had because every damn time someone looked at him like he didn't belong, like he shouldn't be here. He had to fight twice as damn hard to prove them all wrong. And that's exactly what him and Tommy Dreamer are going to do at Wrestle Annual. People say The Ubermensch are unstoppable. That it's going to take more than some two-bit punk from Yonkers and Dusty Rhodes' little boy to beat them. To end their reign as Tag-Team Champions. Well in three days. At Wrestle Annual 2. Dustin and Dreamer are going to do what they've always done. Beat the odds. Match: Tommy Dreamer vs. The Blitzkrieg Tommy Dreamer doesn't back down from the monstrous challenge of The Blitzkrieg, whom he'll face in just three days for the Tag-Team Championships. He takes the fight right to "Mangler's Monster" and keeps him on the ropes for a bit as they brawl back and forth. Eventually though Dreamer takes one too many shots to the head and The Blitzkrieg takes over clobbering and clubbing "The Innovator of Violence" about the ring before hitting him with several imperssive power moves including a military pess drop, a tilt-a-whirl slam; and finally The Chokeslam from Berlin. Tommy is down and out, but Blitzkrieg hasn't finished punishing him and begins stomping him into the mat! Referee Danny Davis attempts to pull the big man off, but The Monster keeps putting the boots to him and ends up getting DQed. This doesn;t stop the assault however when down the ramp comes Dreamer's tag-team partner Dustin Rhodes!Dustin slides into the ring; but unfortuantely The Blitzkrieg sees him coming and charging across the ring decapitates him with a clothesline! Entering the ring with his charge, THe Baron Von Raschke raises The Blitzkrieg's hand triumphantly over their fallen foes.Gene and Lanny welcome us back from the break before remind us that next week's show will be coming to us live fromthe Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, New York and that while tickets for that show are sold out; those folks at home should tune in right here on ECW's home station of TNN The Nashville Network to catch all the excitement live.
But first be sure to catch Eastern Championship's biggest show of the year; Wrestle Annual 2 live this Saturday on PPV! The show will be coming to us from Madison Square Garden's Felt Forum which housed the already classic original Wrestle Annual last year! And what a night of wrestling it will be on ECW's second birthday. Matches already signed for the event are:
Women's Championship: Luna Vachon (c) vs. TBD
Tag-Team Title Match: Blitzkrieg & Credible (c) vs. Dreamer & Rhodes
War Games Match: Anderson, Flair, Tully & vs. The Omega Horsemen
Inter-Promotional Title Match: Chris Jericho (c) vs.
Eastern States Championship: William Regal (c) vs. Matt Borne
ECW Title Match: Rick Rude (c) vs. Papa Shango
We'll soon be filling in one of those blanks however as Beulah McGillicutty faces off against a mystery opponent in a #1 contender's match for the Women's Title! The winner of this match will go on to face "Mad Dog" Luna Vachon at Wrestle Annual 2! They then hype Luna's time here at ECW, including her two runs as Women's Champ as well as Beulah's past exploits including a run with the Title herself. They then discuss who we'll see here as her opponent tonight tossing several names around.Women's Title # 1 Contender's Match: Jacqueline Moore vs. Beulah McGillicutty Beulah McGillicutty looks pretty confident walking around the ring as she waits with referee s.D. Jones until "Miss Texas" Jacqueline Moore's music hits! The two time Women's Champ obviously catches Beulah by surprise early on and dominates her, working her over until she hits a bridged German suplex! 1!... 2!... th- McGillicutty just barely kicks out! Moore keeps on top of her, but eventually Beulah recuperates and begins to rally back. From there the two men battle back and forth with Beulah getting a two count off a DDT and a near three when she connects with the Beulahsault. Jacqueline gives better than she gets claiming a two from a clothesline and a running elbow smash before finally getting the win via Submission using a guillotine choke. Okerlund congratulates Jacqueline on a successful return to Eastern Championship Wrestling. After the match we're taken to a pre-recorded promo by Papa Shango who's with both Destruction Inc. and The Circus of Doom. "The Ringmaster" Matt Borne looks to annoy Shango when he jumps in front of him and threatens Sir William Regal, his opponent at Wrestle Annual; telling him that this Saturday he's going to take great pleasure in not only ending his reign as Eastern States Champion; but also his career.
"The Soul Stealer" grows impatient and pushes Borne aside. He says that he has spoken with The Dark Lord. Communed with the spirits. Gazed into the face of death. And that they have all come back with but one answer. The final answer in regard to "The Ravishing One." And that result is that they will not be denied their retribution against ECW. That this time Papa Shango will walk away the Eastern Heavyweight Champion! And Rick Rude? He will truly know what it means to be ravished as his very soul is filled with agony. Filled with defeat as he's not only stripped of the ECW Title; but dragged to the very bowels of Hell itself! Shango's minions seem a bit scared of him as he stares menacingly into the television.Match: Dustin Rhodes vs. Aryan von Raschke The Baron von Raschke is his usual cheerful self prior to the match and gets a warning from Danny Davis as his son Aryan von Raschke poses with one half of the Tag-Team Titles. The Blitzkrieg just stands by menacingly. Dustin Rhodes comes down to the ring favoring his neck, but still brings the fight to Aryan and gets a two count with a sidewalk slam midway through the match. Aryan Von Raschke however targets Dustin's injury and works his neck over before connecting with a jumping tombstone piledriver he calls the Panzer Sturz which gets him the win.
After the match Rhodes is taken out on a stretcher. The Baron and his Ubermensch have never looked happier.Rick Rude and William Regal then cut a promo about being the two top Champions in the world; holding the Eastern Heavyweight Title and the Eastern States Championship respectively. They talk about how the chase to win the big one can drive most competitor's insane; but at Wrestle Annual they both have to face men who started out crazy in "The Soul Stealer" Papa Shango and the former "Maniac" Matt Borne. But that's alright with them; because while both men have the intensity to make it in this business; neither of them have the focus, the drive to do what it takes inside the ring to win the big one. Something they'll prove not only tonight in their tag-team match; but in three days at Wrestle Annual 2!Match: Butch Reed vs. Devon Hughes Slick is at ringside doing his best to distract young Devon Hughes who impresses by bringing the fight right to "Hacksaw" Butch Reed. Though he gets in his share of offense, Butch Reed proves to be too much for Devon and gets the three count from S.D. Jones after hitting one-half of the Hughes Brothers with a gorilla press slam. After the match "Pomp and Circumstance" hits and out from the back emerges "Macho Man" Randy Savage! He has "Hot Stuff" Debbie Combs with him and takes the microphone from Gertner after posing for the booing fans. He tells us to cry him a river for poor, unfortunate Hulk Hogan. He says he warned "The Huckster." Told him he didn't belong here. That he was past his prime. He didn't have to of course. Oooh no. No. He did not. But him and Hogan have a history together. Sometimes friend, sometimes foe. So he thought he'd do the honorable thing. Yeah. Warn his "brother" not to come here. Not to sully the "Macho Man's" arena. But just like always he didn't listen. Turned a deaf ear. Dig it. So Randy Savage was gonna be disrespected? Ignored? Not again. Not in his yard. So Savage and Hogan met in this here very ring. Locked up. Clashed like titans. And Hogan got lucky. But he wasn't so lucky last week was he? No. Cause last week "Macho Man" showed "The Immortal One" that Savage isn't one to be ignored. That he isn't someone who's going to quietly disappear, fade away while Hulkamania runs wild all over the house that the "Macho Man" built. Hulk Hogan wants the ECW Title? Well he's gonna have to come through Savage to do it. Otherwise last week is gonna be nothing short of a coming attraction for the rest of Hogan's career. Ooooh Yeah!Just then Debbie Combs lets out a scream as Hulk Hogan rushes Savage and clubs him down to the floor! He stomps "Macho Man" a bit before pulling him up by his shirt and begins wailing on him! He busts Randy opens! He doesn't let go of him as he grabs the microphone and tells Savage that if he wanted his attention; well last week "brother" he has it. And if he wants to get his ass whipped by Hulk Hogan one more time he has that too. Because he just signed off on a match as Wrestle Annual 2. "The Immortal" Hulk Hogan versus "Macho Man" Randy Savage. Dig it! He then tosses his bloodied opponent back onto the mat and storms off while Debbie Combs comes to Savage's aide.Okerlund and Poffo welcome us back from the last commercial break of the evening before hyping the last match before the biggest ECW event of the year Wrestle Annual! They first discuss Eastern States Champion William Regal's storied feud with the many aliases of Matt Borne whom he got fired earlier this year when he revealed Doink the Clown was actually Borne in disguise; Matt having lost a Loser Leaves Town match at the first ever Wrestle Annual to "Iron" Mike Sharpe. He has since returned as "The Ring Master" Matt Borne and with his Circus of Doom has looked to make Regal's life a living hell. In three days at Wrestle Annual II he will be looking to lay claim to Sir William's Eastern States Title.
They then talked about "Ravishing" Rick Rude's past with "The Soul Stealer" Papa Shango; a man who defeated him last year in a # 1 contender's match to face then Champ "Macho Man" Randy Savage. Rude later helped Savage retain the Title on Eastern Championship's big event Hotter Than Hell on September 21st also of last year. Papa Shango wasn't seen again until this past Halloween when he returned in a big way ("or little if you count his diminished height" according to Lanny) attacking his old nemesis and current ECW Champion Rick Rude. Winning a # 1 contender's match against Hulk Hogan; Shango is set to face "The Ravishing One for his Title in just three days.
Weird circus music then begins to blare and a spotlight shoots about the arena as The Circus of Doom appear on the ramp.
Gertner: The following Tag-Team contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first all the way from the Big Top and accompanied to the ring by the Circus of Doom; weighing in at 243 lbs.; he is "The Ring Master" Matt Borne!
Borne heads down to the ring and poses with his men (and woman) Pogo the Clown, Dink; and Luna Vachon before the lights go out, voodoo drums begin to beat; and mist fills the arena.
Gertner: And introducing his tag-team partner at this time; summoned from the Bowels of Hell weighing in at 270 lbs. and accompanied to the ring by Destruction Inc.; "The Soul Stealer" Papa Shango!
Shango enters the ring and gives the audience a spectacle with his cauldron, issuing smoke from it as his pyros go off.
Gertner: Introducing the first of their opponents this evening from Blackpool, England weighing 243 lbs.; he is the Eastern States Champion Sir William Regal! Regal comes out and waves to the fans, but stops halfway down the ramp not getting close to the ring. Rick Rude's strip theme then hits and he joins Regal with the ECW Title about his waist.
Gertner: And introducing the final challenger from Robbinsdale, Minnesota weighing in at 251 lbs. he is the Eastern Heavyweight Champion "Ravishing" Rick Rude!Tag-Team Main Event: Rick Rude & William Regal vs. Papa Shango & Matt Borne Rick Rude and William Regal circle the ring together keeping their distance from both the Circus of Doom and Destruction Inc. before climbing in where they complain to referee Danny Davis about the small army on the outside. Despite Shango and Borne's protests; Davis decides to send them all to the back! Rude and Regal seem pleased by this and after a brief discussion; "The Ravishing One" ends up starting things off... with Matt Borne?!
Rude is thrown off his game a little as "The Ring Master" comes charging in swinging. He gets in a couple of good licks before Rude begins firing back and managing to circle behind his opponent traps him in a headlock. Borne struggles, but gets forced down to one knee where Rick puts on the pressure. Matt however soon rallies back and fighting his way to his feet whips the ECW Champ across the ring! On the rebound he ducks for a back body drop too early however and receives a kick to his face from Rude, who proceeds to knock hammer him back into the ropes, spin him about; and connects with a DDT! He makes the cover!
Borne kicks out at two hower and "Ravishing" stays on him, battering "The Ring Master" with elbows and chops. He works him over pretty good before whipping him into the ropes and charging in for a clothesline that sends the former "Maniac" out to the floor! Rick Rude looks pretty satisfied with himself and gives a little hip strut for the ladies before turning toward the ropes, grabbing them; and receiving a face full of voodoo smoke?! Papa Shango cackles maniacally as Rude reels back into the ring clutching at his face. Davis who's been delivering the count to Borne doesn't see it and "Ring Master" crawls back in at six. He immediately pounces on Rick, stomping the crap out of the Heavyweight Champ before pulling him to his feet and repeatedly running him into the corner shoulder first. He then tags in "The Soul Stealer!"
Papa Shango is more than happy to help Borne decimate Rick Rude a bit more and together they hoist "The Ravishing One" up into the air for a double sit-out powerbomb! Shango makes the cover, but Rude clears it at two. The voodoo priest doesn't like this and drives hi boot in Rude's head before pulling him up to his feet and takes him back down to the mat with a stiff clothesline! Following him down to the mat he begins choking Rude out and gets a warning from Davis. Back on his feet Shango begins stomping the Champ who he'll face for the Title in three short days and flattens him with a knee drop before going up top. Meanwhile the Champ gets to his feet looking a little wobbly; only to take a missile dropkick to the chin from the "Soul Stealer!" who floats over with the cover. 1!.. 2!...
Rude kicks out! Pulling Rude up to his feet Shango looks pretty frustrated as he clubs on him with elbows and punches, dragging him toward his corner where he tags Mat Borne back in! Together the duo batter on the Champ and when William Regal rushes in to make the save; he only makes things worse as Danny Davis orders him from the ring and behind the refs back Borne delivers a low blow on Rude and schoolboys him! Davis is right there to make the count and "Ravishing" kicks out just before the three. For the next several minutes he becoming a punching bag for "The Ring Master" who drops him with a sidewalk slam which gets him a one count before he's back to stomping Rude out. Hoisting his opponent up into the air; Matt Borne looks for his patented running powerbomb into the corner; but Rick Rude rolls out and lands on his feet behind Matt Borne! As Matt turns about in surprise, Rick kicks him in the gut and treats him to a swinging neckbreaker!
Both men are down and Rude is unable to capitalize as the fans get solidly behind him while he groggily gets to his feet. Borne is right back up and charges after him, but Rick Rude leaps to make the tag to William Regal! Regal comes in with a clothesline that drops "The Ring Master!" Borne pops back up only to be taken down with a second! When Regal goes for a third however, Matt blocks it; but Sir William counters with a release German suplex! Matt hits the ground hard and Regal is right on top of him with the Regal Stretch arm trap cross-legged STF! This could be it!
Borne is too close to the ropes however and grabs them. Regal allows his opponent to get to his feet before he continues to pummel on him; but "Maniac" Matt rakes his eyes and tags in Papa Shango! "The Soul Stealer" goes up top as "The Ring Master" scoops Sir William up onto his shoulders in a seated position and turns toward Shango who does some voodoo theatrics before connecting with a diving clotheline on the Eastern States Champ that sends Borne into an Electric Chair Drop! William looks to be in a bad way as Papa Shango makes the cover, but Rick Rude is back in and makes the save with a diving elbow drop! He helps William Regal up to his feet as Papa Shango regains his bearings and charges the duo! Regal and Rude see him coming however and drop him with a double hiptoss! As Shango gets back up, the two men scoop him up and nail "The Soul Stealer" with a double vertical suplex! Rude makes the cover! 1!... 2!..
Matt Borne makes the save! Together the duo double team Rick Rude for a bit, with Matt Borne tagging back in. He stomps at Rude who's up on one knee and begins raining punches down on the ECW Champ's head. Rude however isn't having it and catching Borne's hand begins firing back! The two men begin pulverizing one another in the middle of the ring with "The Ring Master" visibly getting the worst of it getting driven back into the corner when Borne catches the ECW Champ offguard with a glancing elbow and whips him across the ring! Rick Rude hits the corner hard and Borne charges in for the kill; but "Ravishing" gets his feet up and kicks Matt in the chops! As his opponent staggers back; Rick Rude sets up the Rude Awakening delayed hangman's neckbreaker and it connects! And he makes the cover! 1!... 2!... 3! Rude and Regal have won it!
Just as the bell rings however, it seems the gates of Hell have opened as the combined forces of Deestruction Inc. and the Circus of Doom comes charging down to the ring! Not stupid, Rick Ride and William Regal bale through the cheering crowd, taunting their opponents by raising their hands triumphantly along the way. Inside the ring neither Papa Shango or Matt Borne look very happy with this turn of events.
We then get word from "Mean" Gene and Lanny that the fourth member of Arn Anderson's team has just arrived outside the arena! The camera then takes us outside to where ECW Correspondent Terri Runnels is outside with Arn Anderson, Tully Blanchard; and Barry Windham. A stretch limo has just pulled up. Arn tells Terri that he promised the fans a big surprise for us and we're abot to get it. The door opens and out comes the fourth member of Team Anderson...J.J. Dillon?! J.J. laughs and tells Terri to hold her horses. He isn't insane enough to get into the ring and wrestle. He's just hear to lend his old friends some support. The camera pans over to the limo where out comes...Ole Anderson?!! Ole tells us he'd love to get into that steel cage and crack some skulls with AA and the boys. But Corino's sorry ass has lucked out. Because he's here for the same reason as J.J. No. Their partner hasn't come out yet. Wait... here he comes. The camera pans back to the limo where out comes...Wooooo!!! Ric Flair?!!! Ric Flair's here! He outside the limo and strutting about! He says that when his buddies made the call, he just had to charter a jet and come on out. And at Wrestle Annual he's gonna style and profile all over those so-called Horsebabies! Steve Corino, Jason Venom; The Hardly Boys had better watch out. Cause God has arrived! Wooooo!
Lights Fade.
