SCOTT and TERRY welcome us to Global Wrestling from the Convention Center in Tucson, Arizona.
SCOTT hypes today’s program, including the big main event, where two teams that are well known by wrestling fans the world over, Demolition and the Powers of Pain, will meet for the vacant Global Tag Team Championship!
TERRY predicts a victory for the POP, he says that with Jimmy Hart in their corner, there’s no way they can lose.
HUDSON talks about a show coming up this Saturday night, April 7, at the International Ampitheater in Chicago. The main event on that card will see Konnan and Dustin Rhodes face Bobby Duncum and Paul Orndorff in a tag team match, with Lex Luger as the guest referee.
SCOTT then sends us up to the ring for the opening match.
MIKE MCGUIRK is in the ring, and she introduces the competitors for the first contest.
HUGH MORRUS beat DUKE DROESE at 2:26. Morrus hit Droese with a vicious Powerbomb, then delivered a Moonsault for good measure, leading to the victory.
After the match was over, Morrus gleefully pummeled Droese, sending the former garbage man out of the ring on a stretcher.

They storm the ring and attack their opponents before Mike McGuirk even has a chance to make the introductions.
THE NASTY BOYS (w/ Jimmy Hart) beat DON E. ALLEN & FRIENDLY FRANK FINNIGAN after Brian Knobbs plants Finnigan with a Powerslam, then Saggs jumps off the second rope with an elbowdrop, then pins Finnigan. Afterwards, the Nastys deliver the Pit Stop to both opponents.

SCOTT HUDSON talks about a man that’s on his way to the GWF, under some rather unusual circumstances.
We see a short video of a riot inside a prison.
A digitally altered voice talks over the video, saying that he escaped from a federal prison during a riot just like the one we’re seeing. The voice talks about how he beat up anyone who challenged him while in prison, and now he’s going to do the same in the Global Wrestling Federation!
SCOTT and TERRY both seem a little creeped out by the video. SCOTT says that the only thing they know about the man is that he goes by the name THE CONVICT and wears a mask to hide his identity.

THE AMERICAN EAGLE beat GUIDO FALCONE at 2:30 after connecting with a Bulldog off the top rope for the pinfall.

SCOTT and TERRY recap the 4 team tournament that has been going on over the past two weeks, and this week they will crown new Global Tag Team Champions.
We see footage of Demolition defeating Halloween and King Kong Bundy two weeks ago on TV.
We then see footage of the Powers of Pain, with Jimmy Hart in their corner, defeating Hacksaw Jim Duggan and El Matador last week.
HUDSON says that today’s main event will see Demolition meet the Powers of Pain, with the winning team walking away with the Global Tag Team Titles.
SCOTT and TERRY then interview JIMMY HART and the POWERS OF PAIN: THE BARBARIAN & THE WARLORD at ringside.
JIMMY HART promises that when the show comes to a close, his men will be the new Global Tag Team Champions and the people won’t be able to deny what he’s been saying all along, that he’s the greatest tag team manager of all-time!

BROTHER LOVE introduces his guest this week, a newcomer to the GWF THE AMERICAN EAGLE.
EAGLE starts to thank Brother Love for having him on the show, but Brother Love grabs the mic away, and cuts him off.
BROTHER LOVE asks him a series of questions, but keeps pulling the microphone away before the Eagle can answer.
Finally, EAGLE snatches the mic from Brother Love, and talks about how happy he is to be in the GWF, wrestling in front of these fans. He then talks about the work he’s done in the community, and how much this country means to him.
EAGLE wraps things up by saying that he’s setting his sights on Championship gold here in the GWF.

GORDON welcomes us to the Star Wars: Texas Shootout Control Center, and then talks about some of the matches that have been signed for the event, which will air live on TNT on Saturday night, April 21 from Reunion Arena in Dallas, TX:
* The Big Rigs, Big Norm and Highway Hank, will challenge for the Global Tag Team Titles!
* 20 of the top stars of the GWF, including TV Champion Raven, will take part in an over-the-top Battle Royal!
* Dustin Rhodes teams up with Global Champion Konnan to face Hugh Morrus and Bobby Duncum Jr in a Texas Streetfight, with the added stipulation that the losing team has to leave the GWF for one year!
* Lex Luger and the Native American Tatanka bring their feud to the GWF, and they will square off, one on one, at Star Wars!
GORDON then sends us to pre-recorded comments from some of the wrestlers who will be on the show.
THE BIG RIGS say it makes no difference to them who wins the Global Tag Team titles today, because they’ll be leaving Dallas with the belts on April 21.
DUSTIN RHODES and KONNAN promise to run Bobby Duncum Jr and Hugh Morrus out of the GWF at Star Wars.
HACKSAW JIM DUGGAN talks about the Battle Royal, and says it’s not going to be easy, but he’s confident that he’ll win the whole thing.
SCOTT and TERRY talk about Star Wars: Texas Shootout, live on TNT on April 21. It’s going to be a big show, and the fans definitely do not want to miss it.

FOR THE VACANT GWF TAG TEAM TITLES:
THE POWERS OF PAIN (w/ Jimmy Hart) beat DEMOLITION at 7:00 win the vacant titles. Demolition give the Powers of Pain a beating but late in the match, Jimmy Hart tosses his megaphone into the ring. The Barbarian takes it and bashes Demolition Smash over the head with it. While Demolition Blast chases Jimmy Hart from ringside, Barbarian covers Smash for the 1, 2, 3!
The winners of the match, and new Global Tag Team Champions: THE POWERS OF PAIN
SCOTT and TERRY are joined at ringside by JIMMY HART and the new Global Tag Team Champs THE POWERS OF PAIN.
HUDSON congratulates them on their victory, but says that it was definitely controversial, as Hart’s megaphone played a big part in the ending of the match.
WARLORD tells Hudson to shut up, he’s not going to spoil this moment for them!
JIMMY HART is ecstatic, he says that he told everyone they would win the belts, and this just proves what he said earlier, that he’s the greatest tag team manager of all-time!
SCOTT and TERRY wrap things up, then hype next week’s show, which will feature Brutus Beefcake challenging Raven for the Global TV Title.
HUDSON then hypes Star Wars: Texas Shootout, which will air live, right here on TNT, on Saturday night, April 21.
