SCOTT HUDSON welcomes us to Global Wrestling, and hypes tonight’s show . . . Dustin Rhodes will be in action, as will El Matador, Tito Santana! . . . Hayabusa and Ultimo Dragon will be in action as they prepare for the big Triple Threat match this Friday night at California Clash! . . . Brutus Beefcake will be in action! . . . the feature match will see Jushin Liger square off with one half of the Global Tag Team Champs, Damien 666!

SCOTT HUDSON talks about what took place last week, when Scott Putski took on Bob Orton Jr.

SCOTT says that he received word prior to the start of the show, that Scott Putski will not be able to participate in the 6-man tag team match at California Clash.

DUSTIN says that things are getting out of hand, the Wild Bunch are running around, they’re hurting people, they cost him the TV Title last week, they think that they’re untouchable, and he’s had enough of it!  He says that he and El Matador have found someone to take Putski’s place . . .

Out walks . . .





HACKSAW JIM DUGGAN!!!


DUGGAN says that he’ll be in Los Angeles on Friday night to team with Dustin and El Matador.  He says that the three of them are coming after the Wild Bunch, HOOOOOO!

GORDON welcomes us to the California Clash Control Center, and then talks about some of the matches that have been signed for California Clash on March 9 in Los Angeles . . .

HAYABUSA & ULTIMO DRAGON beat AL PEREZ & SAM HOUSTON – Hayabusa pins Perez after the Falcon Arrow.

AXE says that Demolition has arrived in the GWF.  These fans know who they are, they know what they’re capable of, and they know what to expect when they see Demolition in action.

SMASH says that they’re gonna kick ass and take names!

BLAST says that he hasn’t been with Axe and Smash long, but they’ve already gelled into the most dominant tag team in wrestling today, and he predicts tag team gold in their future.

BRUTUS BEEFCAKE beat RAY ODYSSEY – Brutus gets the win after putting Odyssey out with the Sleeperhold.

Afterwards, Brutus cuts some of Odyssey’s hair!

SCOTT HUDSON talks about the big Global Title match coming up at California Clash, between Champion Konnan and the #1 contender, Hugh Morrus.


We see the clip that first aired last week, of Konnan in his hometown of Miami, where he was honoured by the city for his work with local teenagers, helping to keep them off the streets.  HUGH MORRUS shows up and beats Konnan to a pulp!


Next we see several teenagers on a basketball court.

They address the camera, some of them talk about Konnan playing ball with them on this very court.

Then they tell Konnan they’ll be cheering him on at California Clash, and tell him to whup Hugh Morrus!


SCOTT HUDSON sends us to pre-recorded comments from #1 contender HUGH MORRUS.



HUGH MORRUS is hanging out somewhere in the basement of the El Paso County Coliseum.

MORRUS laughs maniacally, then turns serious.  He says that Konnan may have these fans behind him, but that hasn’t done the Champ much good so far, every time their paths have crossed, he’s left Konnan laying.  Friday night, he’s going to take Konnan’s title, but more importantly, he’s going to end Konnan’s career!

MORRUS laughs like a lunatic as he walks off into the shadows.


Back at ringside, SCOTT HUDSON says that this will no doubt be the toughest challenge that Konnan’s faced, not only since winning the Global Title, but maybe the toughest challenge he’s faced in his entire career!  It all goes down this Friday night at the Memorial Sports Arena in Los Angeles, and the fans can catch it on TNT!

MIKE MCGUIRK introduces the competitors for the next match.


DAMIEN 666 beats JUSHIN LIGER – Damien gets the win after Halloween interferes and leaps off the top rope with a vicious kick to the head of Liger while Damien distracts the ref.  After that, Liger is easy pickings for Damien, who gets the three-count.

The winner of the match, by pinfall: DAMIEN 666



Afterwards, the Unholy Alliance continue to double-team Liger, until EL HIJO DEL SANTO hits the ring.



SANTO attacks the Unholy Alliance, but this brings HAYABUSA and ULTIMO DRAGON out as well.




All three teams brawl in, and around, the ring until eventually making their way down the aisle and out of sight.


SCOTT HUDSON introduces a video of another newcomer on his way to the GWF.


We see PAUL ORNDORFF standing in the locker room, admiring himself in a mirror.



ORNDORFF addresses the camera, and says that Mr. Wonderful is coming to the GWF, and he’s headed straight to the top!

ORNDORFF then turns his attention back to the mirror.


SCOTT HUDSON says that we’re ready for the contract signing between the team of Eddy and Chavo Guerrero Jr and Psychosis and Juventud Guerrera.




EDDY, CHAVO JR and CHAVO SR come out first.





JUVY, PSYCHOSIS and FUERZA GUERRERA then make their way to the ring.


After the contract is signed, JUVY and PSYCHOSIS attempt to sucker punch Eddy, but the Guerreros are ready, and they fight back!

The segment ends with Chavo Guerrero Sr knocking Juvy flat on his back on the mat!  The heels then retreat, leaving Eddy, Chavo Sr and Chavo Jr standing tall in the ring.

THE SAMURAI WARRIORS beat THE FALLEN ANGEL & THE BLACK KNIGHT after Samurai #1 hits a spin kick on the Fallen Angel, just as Samurai #2 rolled him up from behind for the pinfall.


SCOTT HUDSON and GORDON SOLIE are ringside at the jam-packed Memorial Sports Arena.

HUDSON welcomes everyone to California Clash, which is not only the GWF’s first show in the great state of California, but the first GWF show on TNT as well!


We go to pre-recorded comments from DUSTIN RHODES, EL MATADOR and HACKSAW JIM DUGGAN, where they talk about their match tonight with the Wild Bunch, and promise a victory.


SCOTT and GORDON send us to the ring for the opening match.


MIKE MCGUIRK is in the ring, and introduces the competitors for the first contest.


BRUTUS BEEFCAKE beat TAYLOR MADE MAN – Brutus picked up the win in this tough opening match, after locking Taylor in the Sleeperhold.

Prior to the start of the match, DOINK THE CLOWN came around ringside, and sprayed Taylor in the face with water from the flower on his jacket.

DOINK got a good laugh out of it, but Taylor didn’t find it very funny, and he chased Doink away before returning to start the match.


SCOTT and GORDON talk about the match, saying that Brutus looked impressive in his win over a very tough opponent in the Taylor Made Man.

GORDON wonders what impact the shenanigans of Doink the Clown had on Taylor’s concentration.


MIKE MCGUIRK introduces the competitors for the next contest.


KING KONG BUNDY (w/ Harley Race) beat BUDDY LEE PARKER – Bundy makes short work of Parker, squashing him with the Atlantic City Avalanche before demanding that referee James Beard count to 5, instead of 3.


We go to a vignette featuring Big Norm and Highway Hank.  Two 18-wheelers pull into the parking lot of a truck stop, and Norm and Hank climb out.  They talk about coming to the GWF and say that they’re going to take the tag team division by storm.


SCOTT and GORDON interview GARY HART and the WILD BUNCH at rinside.  They gloat about injuring Scott Putski, then talk about the match coming up with Rhodes, Matador and Duggan, and promise to end the careers of all three of them tonight.


MIKE MCGUIRK is in the ring, and introduces the competitors for the next contest.


DUSTIN RHODES & EL MATADOR & HACKSAW JIM DUGGAN beat THE WILD BUNCH (Duncum, Bart & Orton) (w/ Gary Hart).

The match goes back and forth early on.  Around the 8-minute mark, Orton and Bart try to double-team Hacksaw Duggan, but Duggan gets the upper hand on both of them, and sends them both to the mat after knocking their heads together.

At that point, Duncum confers with Gary Hart on the arena floor . . . AND BOTH MEN TURN AND LEAVE RINGSIDE!!!

Orton and Black Bart turn around in time to see Duncum and Hart leaving, and this distracts them while Hacksaw Duggan gets into position for the Football tackle.  El Matador comes in and hits Bart with a flying forearm that sends him through the ropes and to the floor, and Duggan charges at Orton, hitting him with the Football tackle.

Duggan covers Orton and picks up the 3-count.


SCOTT and GORDON send us to the very first edition of the BROTHER LOVE SHOW.


BROTHER LOVE is standing at a podium, and welcomes everyone to the Brother Love Show.

He brings out his first guest.  A man in a wheelchair makes his way out to the set.

BROTHER LOVE says the man’s name is Paul, and not only is he confined to a wheelchair, but he’s blind as well!

BROTHER LOVE places a hand on the man’s shoulder, goes through a short spiel, and then tells “Paul” to stand up out of the chair.

PAUL hesitates, but then stands up and walks around!  He looks around, and exclaims that he can see!


BROTHER LOVE thanks “Paul” for being on the Brother Love show, and thanks him for the $50 fee he paid as well, and Brother Love says that he’ll be on Global Wrestling next weekend, and his guests will be brother Hart and brother Duncum.


SCOTT and GORDON talk about what we just witnessed, then hype the next match, the Triple Threat Match for the Global Tag Team Titles!


MIKE MCGUIRK is in the ring, and introduces the competitors for the next contest.


TRIPLE THREAT MATCH FOR THE TAG TITLES
DAMIEN 666 & HALLOWEEN (Champs) beat EL HIJO DEL SANTO & JUSHIN LIGER and HAYABUSA & ULTIMO DRAGON.

This match is everything you would expect from these three teams.  There are bodies flying all over the place as these six men put it all on the line and risk life and limb to try and win the Global Tag Titles.

Ultimo Dragon is the first one pinned, as Jushin Liger hits the Liger Bomb, then connects with a Shooting Star Press for the pinfall.

The Champions gang up on Liger, and after Halloween dropkicks El Santo out of the ring, Damien and Halloween hit Liger with Montezuma’s Revenge, and Damien covers him for the pinfall.  Santo jumped back into the ring and tried to make the save, but he was just a split-second too late.

Damien 666 and Halloween have retained the Global Tag Team Titles!


SCOTT and GORDON talk about the match we just witnessed, and then hype the next match coming up, the Cowards Wave a Flag match!


We see a highlight video of the feud between the Guerreros and Psychosis and Juvy, leading up to the Cowards Wave a Flag match.


MIKE MCGUIRK is in the ring, and introduces the competitors for the next contest.


COWARDS WAVE THE FLAG MATCH
EDDY & CHAVO GUERRERO JR (w/ Chavo Guerrero Sr) beat JUVENTUD GUERRERA & PSYCHOSIS (w/ Fuerza Guerrera).

Juvy and Psychosis gain the upper hand early and control most the of the match.  Late in the match, the Guerreros turn the tables and take control.  While Chavo Jr brawls with Psychosis at ringside, Eddy hits a Dragon Suplex on Juvy, then puts him in the Figure Four Leglock until finally Fuerza Guerrera has no choice but to wave the white flag, signalling his team’s surrender!

After the match, Chavo Guerrero Sr produces a can of yellow paint, and two brushes!

Juvy and Psychosis try to get out of dodge, but a group of babyfaces come out and stop them, forcing them back into the ring!

Back inside the ring, Eddy, Chavo Jr and Chavo Sr proceed to paint a big yellow streak down the backs of Juvy, Psychosis and Fuerza Guerrera!


We go to pre-recorded comments from Global Champ KONNAN.  He’s at the gym, and talks about everything that Hugh Morrus has done, and says that it ends tonight!


We then go to HUGH MORRUS, somewhere deep in the basement of the Memorial Sports Arena.  Morrus says that Konnan can’t beat him, that’s all there is to it.  Tonight, the GWF fans are going to see a new Global Champion crowned!


SCOTT HUDSON and GORDON SOLIE talk about a HUGE star that will be coming to the GWF very soon.


We see a highlight package, featuring LEX LUGER!  Luger is shown celebrating in the ring with the WCW World Title in 1991, and then knocking out Yokozuna and celebrating at WWF Summer Slam 1993.


HUDSON says that former World Champion Lex Luger is on his way to the GWF!

GORDON SOLIE hypes the match between Konnan and Hugh Morrus, and sends us to the ring for the main event.


MIKE MCGUIRK is in the ring, and introduces the competitors for the main event.


GLOBAL TITLE MATCH
KONNAN (Champ) beat HUGH MORRUS.

The match is a wild, bloody affair, as both men hit the other with everything but the kitchen sink!

Morrus takes control of the match, and as we near the 15-minute mark, he seems to be on his way to victory.  Konnan is weakened and seems to be having trouble even standing on his own.  But Konnan doesn’t know the meaning of the word quit, and he fights back.  He starts firing off punches that surprise Hugh Morrus, and Konnan has him on the ropes.

Konnan continues to pummel Morrus, and whips him into the ropes, nailing Morrus with a wicked running clothesline.

Konnan pulls Morrus up . . . and hits the POWERBOMB!

Konnan covers Morrus . . . but Hugh kicks out at 2!!!

Konnan pulls him up to his feet, and nails Hugh with another Powerbomb!

This time, Morrus doesn’t kick out, and Konnan has successfully retained the Global Championship and vanquished his toughest challenge yet!


SCOTT and GORDON wrap things up and remind the fans that Global Wrestling is moving to Sunday afternoons, and the next episode will be Sunday, March 18 at 1pm.

SCOTT and GORDON welcome us to Global Wrestling, and SCOTT say that the show comes to us this week from the Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City, CA.  Next week, they’ll be at the Convention Center in Tucson, AZ, and will return to the regular format.

GORDON says that this is the first edition of Global Wrestling to air on TNT, and the first on their day, Sunday afternoons at 1pm.  He then hypes today’s show.

SCOTT talks about CALIFORNIA CLASH, that aired on March 9, right here on TNT.


We see a highlight video of what went down at California Clash, including the Guerreros painting yellow streaks down the backs of Juventud Guerrera and Psychosis, and Konnan pinning Hugh Morrus to retain the Global Title.

SCOTT HUDSON then announces the main event for the next big televised event from the GWF, Stars Wars: Texas Shootout . . . Konnan teams up with Dustin Rhodes to face Morrus and Bad Boy Bobby Duncum Jr in a Texas Streetfight!

KONNAN says that he and Dustin want the same thing, guys like Morrus and Duncum out of the GWF, and issues a challenge to their opponents, to up the ante, and add a stipulation that whoever gets pinned in this Texas Streetfight has to leave the GWF for one year!


SCOTT and GORDON then send us to our first match, taped at the Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena.

SCOTT and GORDON talk about the Triple Threat match that took place at California Clash for the Tag Team Titles.


Footage is shown of the Triple Threat match, where Damien 666 and Halloween defeated Jushin Liger & El Hijo Del Santo, and Hayabusa & Ultimo Dragon to retain the Global Tag Team Titles.


SCOTT says that Damien 666 suffered a knee injury late in that match.

SCOTT and GORDON then welcome Global Commissioner DORY FUNK JR to the show.  Dory is carrying the Global Tag Team Titles.

DORY says that, as Scott mentioned, Damien 666 suffered a pretty serious knee injury during the final moments of the Triple Threat Match, and is expected to be out of action for the foreseeable future.

Therefore, he has asked Damien and Halloween to vacate the titles.  To fill the vacancy, four teams will square off in a tournament, the first match will take place right here today, and the other two teams will meet next week.  The two winning teams will face each other on April 1 to determine the new Global Tag Team Champions.

DORY says that he’s given Halloween the opportunity to find a new partner, and take part in this tournament.  He says that Halloween and whoever he’s found to be his partner, will meet Demolition later today, with the winner moving on.

Next week, the Powers of Pain, the Barbarian and the Warlord, will reunite here in the GWF, and they’ll take on Hacksaw Jim Duggan and El Matador.


GORDON says that when we come back, Bobby Duncum Jr and Hugh Morrus will be in tag team action.

GORDON welcomes us to the first Star Wars: Texas Shootout Control Center, and then talks about some of the matches that have been signed for the event, which will air live on TNT on Saturday night, April 21 from Reunion Arena in Dallas, TX:

* Newcomers the Big Rigs, Big Norm and Highway Hank, will be in tag team action!

* 20 of the top stars of the GWF, including TV Champion Raven, will take part in an over-the-top Battle Royal!

* Dustin Rhodes teams up with Global Champion Konnan to face Hugh Morrus and Bobby Duncum Jr in a Texas Streetfight, with the added stipulation that whoever loses the fall has to leave the GWF for one year!


GORDON introduces former World Champion “THE TOTAL PACKAGE” LEX LUGER.



SOLIE says that Luger is one of the biggest stars in the World, and has held championship gold wherever he’s gone.

LUGER says that he’s had a lot of success in other promotions, but none of that matters, because the GWF is where the biggest and baddest are, and this is where he wants to make a name for himself!

SCOTT HUDSON introduces his next guest THE TAYLOR MADE MAN.



TAYLOR talks about his career, and says that he’s made a decision, and instead of hanging around too long like so many wrestlers do, he’s going to go out on top.  He’s calling it quits, and will retire as the single greatest wrestler to have ever laced up a pair of wrestling boots.

TAYLOR says that he’s already being flooded with offers for all sorts of things, but recently Dory Funk Jr came to him and asked him, no PLEADED with him, to join the broadcast team on Global Wrestling.

HUDSON starts to say something, but Taylor cuts him off.

TAYLOR says that Dory needed him to salvage the mess that is Scott’s commentating, and tells the fans to tune in next week because a new era in Global Wrestling is about to begin!

Before Hudson can say anything, Taylor shoves the mic back in Hudson’s chest, and walks off.

HUDSON seems shocked, and says that this should be interesting!

SCOTT says that when we come back, Demolition will be in action against Halloween and whoever he’s found as a replacement partner, with the winner moving on to the finals of the Global Tag Team Title tournament.

SCOTT and GORDON send us to the set of a new segment, the BROTHER LOVE SHOW.




BROTHER LOVE is standing behind a podium, and he welcomes his guests this week, BROTHER GARY HART and BROTHER BOBBY DUNCUM.



BROTHER LOVE asks them about the 6-man tag team match at California Clash.

HART says that Orton and Black Bart let him and Duncum down, but now they’re done with those two losers.

GARY talks a little about Hugh Morrus as well, and says that Konnan obviously cheated to beat him at California Clash, but both Morrus and Duncum’s fortunes are about to change, because on April 21, at Star Wars, they’re going to beat Konnan and Dustin Rhodes.

DUNCUM accepts Konnan challenge, for the added stipulation that whoever gets pinned has to leave the GWF for a year.  He says that it’s going to backfire on Konnan and Rhodes, because it’s going to be one of THEM that has to leave!

BROTHER LOVE says that the fans can take that to the bank, and sends us back to Scott and Gordon.


HUDSON says that he can’t wait for that match at Star Wars on April 21, and tells the fans that they definitely are not going to want to miss it!

GORDON then intros a video.


Footage airs of THE AMERICAN EAGLE, standing at the front of a classroom full of kids.



EAGLE proceeds to lead the kids in the Pledge of Allegiance, and then tells them to stay in school and say no to drugs.


SCOTT HUDSON and GORDON SOLIE talk about Lex Luger, and the challenge that he issued to the Native American Tatanka during the Star Wars Control Center.


We see footage of Tatanka turning on Luger in the World Wrestling Federation.


HUDSON and SOLIE both wonder if Tatanka will answer Luger’s challenge for a match at Star Wars: Texas Shootout on April 21.

We then go to the ring for the feature match.

DEMOLITION: SMASH & BLAST (w/ Demolition Axe) beat HALLOWEEN & KING KONG BUNDY (w/ Harley Race) by DISQUALIFICATION – Halloween and Bundy get disqualified when Demolition hit the Demolition Decapitation on Halloween, but Bundy came into the ring and grabbed the ref, stopping him from making the count.

HARLEY says that he already manages King Kong Bundy, who is a force to be reckoned with on his own.  But now he’s expanding his stable . . . and brings out “MR. WONDERFUL” PAUL ORNDORFF!!!



ORNDORFF comes out and shakes hands with Harley.

PAUL says that Race is the premier manager in wrestling today, and with Harley in his corner, he’s going straight to the top of the GWF!

ORNDORFF says that he’s setting his sights on the top guys in the GWF, like Konnan and Dustin Rhodes, and says that they’d better watch out!


After Race and Orndorff leave the set, SCOTT and GORDON bring in their next guest, COL. DEBEERS.




DEBEERS says that he’s been spending a lot of time in his hometown of Cape Town, South Africa, and he’s made a name for himself in the African diamond trade.  Now he feels that he’s spent enough time away from wrestling, so he’s come back to the U.S. and he’s ready to go to take the Global Wrestling Federation by storm!

DEBEERS puts all the GWF wrestlers on notice, he will not let anyone get in his way, or stop him from achieving his goals here in the GWF.


SCOTT and GORDON wrap things up, and SCOTT says that they’ll be back to their regular format on next Sunday’s show, which will originate from the Convention Center in Tucson, Arizona.

GORDON hypes Star Wars: Texas Shootout, which will air live, right here on TNT, on Saturday night, April 21.  Not only do we have a big tag team Streetfight already signed, as well as a Battle Royal, but we may very well see one of the most bitter rivalries in wrestling come to the GWF, if Tatanka accepts the challenge issued earlier by the Total Package Lex Luger!

* the Global Tag Team Titles will be on the line!

* 20 of the top stars of the GWF, including TV Champion Raven, will take part in an over-the-top Battle Royal!

SCOTT and TERRY talk about a new tag team coming to the GWF, Power & Glory, consisting of Hercules and “Pretty” Paul Roma.


We see HERCULES and PAUL ROMA hanging out in a gym.

ROMA does all the talking, saying that they are the best tag team in the World, and they will prove it against each and every team that they step in the ring with.

ROMA says that the all the other tag teams in the GWF need to take notice, because it’s only a matter of time before the Championship belts are around their waists.

HUGH MORRUS beat BRYANT ANDERSON – Morrus simply destroys his opponent, hitting the Powerbomb, followed by a Moonsault, for the pinfall at 1:51.

During the match, KONNAN and DUSTIN RHODES cut an insert promo, saying that they will rid the GWF of Duncum and Morrus on April 21 at Star Wars.

HUDSON and TAYLOR talk about the announcement last week, from Global Commissioner Dory Funk Jr, that the Global Tag Team Titles had been vacated due to an injury to Damien 666.

Dory announced that four teams would face off in a mini-tournament, with the two winning teams facing off on April 1 for the vacant titles.


We see footage of Demolition beating the odd pairing of Halloween and King Kong Bundy last week to advance to the Championship match.


HUDSON says that this week, the Powers of Pain meet Hacksaw Jim Duggan and El Matador, with the winning team taking on Demolition right here next week on Global Wrestling!

SCOTT and TERRY then interview LEX LUGER at ringside.




HUDSON says that we heard earlier from Tatanka, and he accepted Luger’s challenge for a match at Star Wars.

LUGER says that it’s time he and Tatanka settle this, once and for all, and they’ll do it at Star Wars.

LEX then says that he heard Taylor’s comments, that he expects Luger’s stay here in the GWF to be a short one.  Lex says that he’s going to prove Taylor wrong.

RAVEN wonders where the competition is?  He hasn’t had a serious challenge for this title since winning it.

This brings BRUTUS BEEFCAKE back out.



BRUTUS says that he wants competition?  Brutus would be more than happy to get in the ring with Raven, and give him some competition!

RAVEN gets right in Bruti’s face, and tells him that he’s on.

As BRUTUS goes to leave, Raven clobbers him from behind, and drops him with the Even Flow DDT before walking off.

BROTHER LOVE says that Bruti just made a big mistake!


SCOTT and TERRY talk about Brutus challenging Raven, with Scott saying that if anyone can take that TV Title from Raven, it’s Brutus.

TAYLOR doesn’t agree.

EAGLE is talking with a teenage baseball team, and their coach.  He talks to them about the importance of always being honest and playing by the rules.

EAGLE wraps things up by telling them to always listen to their coach, and their parents at home, and tells them to stay away from performance-enhancing substances like steroids.

THE POWERS OF PAIN beat HACKSAW JIM DUGGAN & EL MATADOR – Both teams get plenty of offence in, but it’s the Powers of Pain who get their hands raised in this hard-fought match after Barbarian leaps off the top rope with a flying clothesline on El Matador.  Barbarian then covers Matador for the pin at 7:29.

SCOTT and TERRY talk about the match, and say that we now know that next week, the Powers of Pain will meet Demolition for the vacant Global Tag Team Titles.

SCOTT and TERRY are then joined at ringside by JIMMY HART.




JIMMY asks that the Powers of Pain come back out, and they join them at ringside.

HART then offers to be in their corner next week, to make sure that Demolition doesn’t try to cheat them out of the titles.  Besides, no other manager in wrestling today knows as much about managing Tag Team Champions as him.

BARBARIAN and WARLORD agree, and shake hands with Jimmy, then the three of them walk off together.


SCOTT and TERRY wrap things up, then hype next week’s show, which will feature Demolition against the Powers of Pain for the vacant Tag Titles.
