MIKE MCGUIRK started things off by welcoming the fans to the Sportatorium, then introduced the competitors in the first match.


THE FALLEN ANGEL b. EL DANDY after a picture-perfect Moonsault.


DUSTIN RHODES b. NASTY NED BRADY after catching Brady with a running Bulldog for the pinfall.


Gary Hart came out to ringside during the next match, and appeared to be doing some scouting.


BOBBY DUNCUM JR. (w/ Black Bart) b. SCOTT PUTSKI.  Putski put up a good fight in this battle of two second-generation wrestlers.  Putski nearly put Duncum away on more than one occasion, but in the end, Duncum turned things around and connected with a vicious lariat out of nowhere for the pinfall.

Afterwards, Duncum and Black Bart continued to assault Putski, putting the boots to him in the middle of the ring.

DUSTIN RHODES arrived on the scene, and chased the heels off before helping Putski to his feet.


CHRIS ADAMS b. LA PARKA after a Superkick.


PSYCHOSIS (w/ Juventud Guerrera) b. CHAVO GUERRERO JR. by Forfeit.
Psychosis and Juvy wait in the ring for Chavo, but he didn’t show up.  Finally, referee James Beard informed Mike McGuirk that if Chavo doesn’t show up by the count of 10, he will forfeit the match.

Juvy and Psychosis stand back and watch as James Beard counted to 10, and then called for the bell, awarding the match to Psychosis.

JUVY grabbed the house mic from McGuirk, and said that finally everyone can see what he and Psychosis have known all along, that Chavo Guerrero is nothing but a yellow-bellied coward . . . just like the rest of the Guerrero family!

They continued to insult Chavo and the rest of the Guerrero clan for a few more minutes, then left the ring.


GLOBAL TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH
THE UNHOLY ALLIANCE (Champions) b. ULTIMO DRAGON & HAYABUSA.
The fans got a real treat with this match, as these four threw caution to the wind and hit one high spot after another!

The challengers looked to have the match well in hand, as Hayabusa worked over Damien in the middle of the ring, but when Hayabusa ran the ropes, Halloween kicked him in the back of the head.  This put Hayabusa on the mat, and gave Damien a chance to tag out.

Halloween came in, pummeled Hayabusa, and hit him with a top-rope Superplex for the pinfall to retain the belts in a hard-fought match.


EDDY GUERRERO fought JUVENTUD GUERRERA to a Double Count-Out.
Eddy tore right into Juvy as soon as the bell sounded, and the two men put on a great match.

The action was non-stop, and went back and forth for about 15 minutes . . . until CHAVO GUERRERO JR made his way down to the ring!  Chavo was limping noticeably, his shirt was torn, and his forehead had been busted open!

PSYCHOSIS followed Chavo to the ring, and blindsided him on the arena floor!

Seeing this, Eddy jumped out of the ring to help Chavo.  As Eddy and Chavo brawled with Psychosis, Juvy jumped out of the ring and all four men brawled on the floor, paying no attention to the fact that referee Nick Patrick was counting both Eddy and Juvy out of the ring.

When he reached 10, Patrick called for the bell and the match was declared a Double Count-out!


Juventud and Psychosis got the upper hand when the brawl made it’s way into the ring.  They tied Eddy up in the ropes, and continued to pummel Chavo.

Psychosis then pulled a CAN OF PAINT out from under the ring!  The heels proceeded to paint a big yellow streak down the back of Chavo Guerrero Jr!

JUVY again got on the house mic, and said that Chavo is a coward, he didn’t bother to show up for his match earlier, he’s yellow and now he’s got the streak on his back to prove it!


HUGH MORRUS b. VAMPIRO by TKO.
This match was a knock-down, drag-out right from the opening bell.  The action didn’t stay in the ring for long, as the two men took the battle to the floor and proceeded to hit each other with anything they could get their hands on.  Referee James Beard gave them a lot of leeway.

Late in the match, as the two men battled on the floor, Morrus got the upper hand after slamming Vampiro’s head into the ringpost.

From there, Morrus pulled Vampiro up so that they were both standing on the ring apron.  Morrus punched Vampiro a few times, then lifted him up . . . AND POWERBOMBED HIM FROM THE RING APRON DOWN THROUGH THE TIME KEEPER’S TABLE!!!

That was all she wrote for Vampiro.  He wasn’t moving, and, fearing for his safety, James Beard called for the bell and stopped the match.

Beard called for medical personnel who came out quickly and a moment later, they were loading Vampiro onto a stretcher.

The medics were on their way down the aisle with Vampiro on the stretcher, when Morrus decided that he wasn’t finished . . . and he KNOCKED VAMPIRO OFF THE STRETCHER!!

Morrus then put the boots to Vampiro, who lay unmoving on the arena floor.


Suddenly, KONNAN rushed down the aisle and jumped on Hugh Morrus!

Konnan and Morrus brawled for a second before a group of referees and other wrestlers quickly separated them!


GLOBAL TITLE MATCH
KONNAN (Champion) b. THE TAYLOR MADE MAN.
Taylor gave Konnan all he could handle, but in the end, the Champion got the win after locking Taylor in the Tequila Sunrise for the submission victory.

As well, Buddy Rose will have Hugh Morrus as his guest on the Rose Garden.

All that, and we’ll take a look back at all the happenings from this past Friday night’s show at the Sportatorium in Dallas, TX!


SCOTT then talks about GARY HART making his shocking debut last week, as the guest on the very first edition of Buddy Rose’s The Rose Garden.


While Scott’s talking, footage is shown of last week’s show, where Buddy Rose interviewed Gary Hart.


HUDSON is joined at ringside by GARY HART.

HART says that there will be plenty of talent on tonight’s show, and he wants to check it out for himself, so he’s going to be spending a lot of time out here at ringside tonight!

HUDSON asks if there’s anyone in particular that Hart has his eye on.

GARY just smiles, and says that Scott, and everyone else, will see soon enough!


SCOTT says that when we come back, the unstoppable monster Hugh Morrus will be in action!

MIKE MCGUIRK is in the ring, and she introduces the competitors for the evening’s first contest.

MCGUIRK seems a little intimidated by Hugh Morrus when he climbs into the ring.


HUGH MORRUS b. JOHNNY PARADISE – This match lasts about 90 seconds, as Morrus pounds poor Johnny Paradise into the mat, and delivers a Moonsault for the pinfall.

Morrus isn’t finished, he tosses Paradise out of the ring, and then proceeds to slam him on the arena floor!

From there, Morrus climbs up onto the ring apron, takes a running start, and dives off with a brutal elbowdrop to the head of Paradise!

Paradise ends up being stretchered out.


HUDSON says that this is becoming a regular occurance with Hugh Morrus, most of the men who have faced him in the ring have left on a stretcher, and that includes former Commissioner Kevin Von Erich, who ended up stepping down from his position and leaving wrestling completely due to injuries he suffered in that match with Morrus!

SCOTT then sends us to the Rose Garden, where BUDDY ROSE is standing by with the one man wrecking crew himself, Hugh Morrus!


BUDDY ROSE welcomes the fans to the second edition of the “ROSE GARDEN”!  He says that everywhere he’s gone this past week, people are coming up to him and telling him that they love this segment, and they’re glad to have a break from having to listen to Scott Hudson talk, non-stop, for an hour each week!

BUDDY then introduces his guest, a man that we just saw in action, HUGH MORRUS!

ROSE says that Morrus has left a trail of broken bodies in his wake, including former Commissioner Kevin Von Erich, and as we saw this past Friday night, Vampiro!


CLIP: Hugh Morrus powerbombing Vampiro THROUGH THE TIMEKEEPER’S TABLE in their match at the Sportatorium!

After the match, Morrus knocked Vampiro off the stretcher as he was being taken from the ring, and continued to assault him!

At that point, Global Champion KONNAN showed up and brawled with Morrus before they were separated!


BUDDY says that was great, although he didn’t care for Konnan sticking his nose where it didn’t belong at the end of that clip.

MORRUS laughs like a maniac, and says that Vampiro made the biggest mistake of his life by getting into the ring with him . . . and he paid for it with his career! 

MORRUS then turns deadly serious, and says that Vampiro is finished, and if Konnan wants a piece of him, he’ll see to it that Konnan suffers the same fate as Vampiro!

MORRUS laughs maniacally, and storms off the set.

BUDDY says that the way Morrus tears through his opponents, reminds him a lot of himself back in the day!


HUDSON laughs, and says that Buddy wishes that were the case!  When we come back, we’ll take a look at what transpired between the Guerreros and Juventud Guerrera and Psychosis this past Friday night at the Sportatorium.

JUSHIN LIGER & EL HIJO DEL SANTO b. THE TEXAS HANGMEN – The Texas Hangmen give Liger and Santo a tough match, but in the end, Liger and Santo come away with the win after Liger hits Mean Mike with a running Liger Bomb for the pinfall.


SCOTT HUDSON talks about the Chavo Guerrero Jr vs Psychosis match that was set to take place last Friday night.  Unfortunately the match never took place.


CLIP: Psychosis and Juventud waiting in the ring for Chavo Guerrero Jr, but he doesn’t show up.  The referee declares Psychosis the winner by forfeit.

Juvy and Psychosis have a field day with this, getting on the house mic and calling Chavo a coward!


HUDSON says that things weren’t as they seemed.  Later on, as Juvy squared off with Eddy Guerrero, Chavo showed up.


CLIP: During the Juvy – Eddy Guerrero match, Chavo comes down to the ring, limping, and bleeding heavily.  Psychosis shows up as well, and we end up with all four men brawling on the arena floor!

Afterwards, Eddy was tied up in the ropes, and Juvy and Psychosis painted a yellow streak down Chavo’s back!


SCOTT HUDSON interviews EDDY and CHAVO GUERRERO JR.

HUDSON talks about what took place last Friday night.

CHAVO says that Juvy and Psychosis attacked him in the locker room before the match, and knocked him out cold.

EDDY says that this isn’t over, and promises to make Juvy and Psychosis pay for what they did!

SCOTT HUDSON talks about the next big event coming up from the Global Wrestling Federation.  Friday night, March 9, 1995 . . . it’s CALIFORNIA CLASH!

The GWF makes their first trip to the great state of California, as they take over the LA Sports Arena in Los Angeles for a big night of Global wrestling!

California Clash will be shown LIVE on ESPN and will feature all of the top stars of the Global Wrestling Federation.  Matches will be announced over the next few weeks.


SCOTT interviews DUSTIN RHODES and SCOTT PUTSKI at ringside.

HUDSON talks about Putski’s match last Friday night against Bobby Duncum Jr.


CLIP: Bobby Duncum Jr pinning Scott Putski, then Duncum and Black Bart assaulting Putski after the match, until Dustin Rhodes made the save.


SCOTT says that’s what led to tonight’s main event, as the two of them will team up to face Duncum and Bart in a tag team match.

DUSTIN says that there’s nothing tough about sucker punching somebody after the match is over, and then gang up on him, two on one.  He says that Duncum and Bart have shown themselves to be nothing more than a couple of cowards, and he can’t wait to get his hands on them and give them a whuppin’ tonight!

PUTSKI says that Duncum and Bart may have got the better of him on Friday night, when it was two on one, but tonight, it’s an even playing field, and we’ll see how tough Duncum and Bart are when they can’t gang up on somebody.


TITO SANTANA makes his way out for the next match, and shakes hands with Dustin and Putski, and wishes them luck in the main event, before climbing into the ring for the next match.


MIKE MCGUIRK introduces the competitors for the next contest.


TITO SANTANA b. EL DIABLO – Tito looks good in his GWF debut, he wears Diablo down with some sound technical wrestling, and then whips Diablo into the ropes, and connects with a flying Forearm Smash, giving Santana the win in his first GWF match.

TITO says that he’s happy to be here in the GWF, and can’t wait to get right into the thick of things!

SCOTT HUDSON interviews Global Champion KONNAN at ringside.

HUDSON talks about what happened last Friday night, in the Vampiro v. Hugh Morrus match.


CLIP: The video airs again, of Hugh Morrus delivering a Powerbomb on Vampiro, from the ring apron down through the timekeepers table!  Vampiro went out on a stretcher, only to be attacked again by Morrus, before Konnan made the save!


SCOTT says that, at this time, we don’t know just how severe Vampiro’s injuries are, but his doctors expect him to be out of action for quite some time.

KONNAN gets emotional talking about Vampiro.  He says that watching his friend being taken from the ring on a stretcher, and then loaded into an ambulance was hard.  He wishes Vampiro a speedy recovery, and says that he’s setting his sights on Hugh Morrus.

KONNAN says that this goes beyond winning and losing matches, it goes beyond the Global Title.  Now it’s personal, and he’s going to make a promise, right here and now, that he won’t rest until he has run Hugh Morrus right out of the GWF for good!

HUDSON says that we’ve all seen what Konnan is capable of, and what he can do when he sets his sights on something.  But, one has to wonder, if he might be biting off more than he can chew with Hugh Morrus?  He says that Morrus is a monster and so far, no one has come close to stopping him.  Not Vampiro, not Savio Vega, not Kevin Von Erich.  This is something that has to weigh heavily on Konnan’s mind.

KONNAN says that he’s watched Hugh Morrus’ reign of terror from day one, he knows what Morrus can do, and while he will admit that he didn’t expect Morrus to sink to the level he did last Friday night, he’s confident that he can beat him!

HUDSON then changes the subject and talks about Konnan’s work with kids in his hometown of Miami.  He says that in two weeks time, Konnan will be honoured by the city of Miami, and we’ll see it, right here on Global Wrestling!

KONNAN says that he loves working with the kids in Miami.  There’s so many of them that just don’t have the opportunities in life, and if he can spend some time with them and make a difference in their lives, that’s something that gives him a lot of pride.


HUDSON wishes Konnan all the best, and says that when we come back, Raven will defend the Global TV Title against youngster Mikey Whipwreck.

RAVEN (Champion) b. MIKEY WHIPWRECK – Whipwreck puts up a hell of a fight, and these two give the fans an exciting match.  Whipwreck sets Raven up on the top turnbuckle, and attempts a top-rope Franken-Mikey, but Raven holds onto the ropes, and Mikey falls backwards to the mat.  Raven jumps off the turnbuckle and kicks Mikey in the side of the head, then delivers the Even Flow DDT for the pinfall.

SCOTT HUDSON talks about all that’s gone down between Dustin Rhodes and Bobby Duncum Jr recently.


CLIP: Footage of Duncum using a foreign object to KO Dustin during a TV match, then Duncum and Black Bart assaulting Scott Putski last Friday night, and Dustin ran out and made the save.


SCOTT says it’s time for the main event, and sends us to Mike McGuirk in the ring.


Before the match starts, GARY HART comes to the ring and introduces the first two wrestlers to join his stable . . .

THE WILD BUNCH: BOBBY DUNCUM JR and BLACK BART!


MIKE MCGUIRK is in the ring, and she introduces the competitors for the main event.


BOBBY DUNCUM JR & BLACK BART (w/ Gary Hart) b. SCOTT PUTSKI & DUSTIN RHODES – This match is a real slobberknocker, there’s very little wrestling, just a good, old-fashioned brawl!  Gary Hart makes the difference here, he trips Scott Putski from ringside, and as Putski gets to his feet, Duncum nearly takes his head off with a vicious Lariat!  Putski hits the mat, and Duncum covers him for the 1, 2, 3 as Black Bart keeps Dustin at bay.

Afterwards, Gary Hart takes the rope and cowbell that Black Bart brought out to the ring with him, and tosses it to his men.  Duncum and Bart clobber Dustin from behind with the cowbell, then take the rope, wrap it around Dustin’s neck . . . AND TRY TO HANG HIM OVER THE TOP ROPE!!!


Scott Putski gets back to his feet just as a group of babyfaces, led by TITO SANTANA, hit the ring and put a stop to the attack!

The babyfaces run Hart, Duncum, and Bart off, then help Dustin to his feet.


SCOTT HUDSON wraps things up, and recaps what we’ve seen tonight.

SCOTT then hypes next week’s show, where we’ll see Raven defend the Global TV Title, Bob Orton Jr makes his GWF debut and in the main event, Dustin Rhodes takes on Black Bart.  We’ll also have an announcement from new GWF Commissioner Dory Funk Jr regarding matches for California Clash on March 9!

DUNCUM says that Dustin Rhodes needed to be taught a lesson.  Dustin’s been coming out here and badmouthing him, and NOBODY runs their mouth about Bobby Duncum Jr without paying the price for it, and that’s what happened last week!

GARY HART says that Dustin Rhodes, Tito Santana, Chris Adams, and everybody else in the GWF would be wise to just stay out of their way.

SCOTT HUDSON starts to talk about California Clash, coming up on March 9 from the Sports Arena in Los Angeles.

He’s interrupted by a blonde woman, who comes out in business attire and glasses.

(picture Terri Runnells in her Alexandra York days, as that’s basically what I’m going for here)


SCOTT doesn’t quite know what to make of this woman, and before he can say anything, she takes the microphone out of his hand.

The woman says her name is MS. BANKS.  She says that, for years she’s wanted to be a wrestling manager, but she’s always heard that it’s a boys club, women are only around to act as arm candy for the wrestlers.

MS. BANKS says that her family made a fortune on Wall Street, and now she’s using some of that money to prove to everyone that a woman can be a successful manager.  She says that she’s using her family’s fortune to bankroll what she calls the BANKS FOUNDATION, a collection of the top wrestlers in the World!  She says that she will be unveiling the Banks Foundation soon, right here on Global Wrestling.


SCOTT then sends us to the California Clash Control Center, hosted by a newcomer to the GWF, a man that wrestling fans will know well, they call him “the Dean” . . . GORDON SOLIE!!


GORDON SOLIE stands in a control room, several monitors.

GORDON says he’s happy to be here in the GWF, and then talks about California Clash, coming up on March 9, from the Memorial Sports Arena in Los Angeles.  The event will be shown live on ESPN.

SOLIE talks about the Global Tag Team Title situation, and then introduces footage of a recent match between the Champions the Unholy Alliance and Ultimo Dragon and Hayabusa.


CLIP: The Unholy Alliance double-teaming Hayabusa to retain the belts in a hard-fought match against Hayabusa and Ultimo Dragon.


GORDON then introduces new GWF Commissioner DORY FUNK JR.

DORY walks out onto the screen, and shakes hands with Gordon.

DORY then talks about the Tag Title situation, and says that there are two teams in the GWF that both have a legitimate claim to being the #1 contenders, the “Dream Team” of El Hijo Del Santo and Jushin Liger, and the team we just saw in that video, Hayabusa and Ultimo Dragon.  On top of that, there’s plenty of bad blood between Santo and Liger and Hayabusa and Dragon.

FUNK says that, as far as he can tell, the best way to settle this is to have all three teams square off, at the same time . . . in a Triple Threat match!

DORY says that all three teams will be in the ring at the same time, and the match will be an elimination type match, where once a wrestler is pinned, submits, is counted out or disqualified, his team is eliminated from the match.  It continues until one team is left.

GORDON says that is a match the fans are definitely not going to want to miss, and sends us back to Scott Hudson at ringside.


SCOTT HUDSON talks about the man that will be in action next, Bob Orton Jr.  He says that Orton is making his GWF debut, but he’s no stranger to wrestling fans, he’s been around for a while, and has been a big star in just about every promotion he’s been a part of.

Now Orton’s here in the GWF, and Hudson expects that we’ll see big things from him.


MIKE MCGUIRK is in the ring, and she introduces the competitors for the next match of the evening.


BOB ORTON JR b. KOKO B WARE – Koko brings his long-time manager Frankie the Bird out to the ring with him!  Koko gives Orton a tough match, but in the end, Orton hits a Brainbuster for the pinfall.

GARY HART walked out to ringside and watched most of the match.  He seemed to like what he saw.

SCOTT HUDSON is joined at ringside by GARY HART.

HART asks Bob Orton Jr to join them.

GARY then tells Orton that he likes what he saw from Orton in that match, and thinks that Bob would be a huge addition to the stable that he’s putting together.  He then offers Orton a spot.

ORTON thinks it over for a second, and then shakes Hart’s hand, the the two men walk off together!

SCOTT says that Gary Hart wasn’t kidding when he said that he wanted to add the top names in wrestling to his stable.  He’s already got Bobby Duncum Jr and Black Bart, and now he adds another second-generation star and one of the biggest names in wrestling, Bob Orton Jr!

HUDSON then sends us to comments from a rather unusual individual, the Global TV Champion, Raven.


RAVEN is sitting on the curb in an old looking, run-down neighbourhood.

RAVEN then talks about wrestlers like Dustin Rhodes and Konnan, and the way the fans go crazy over them.  He says that guys like Rhodes and Konnan, they’re just like the football players in high school who would taunt and humiliate him.  He says that while popularity is fleeting, his pain and anguish, his scars, are forever.  Every time he looks at guys like Rhodes, Konnan or the Guerreros, it brings all the pain flooding back, but this time, they’re all going to experience his pain, they’re going to see what he went through.  Quote the Raven, nevermore.

RAVEN stands up and walks off.

SCOTT HUDSON sends us to the Rose Garden, with BUDDY ROSE.


BUDDY ROSE welcomes the fans to this week’s edition of the “ROSE GARDEN”!

BUDDY then introduces this week’s guest, BRUTUS “THE BARBER” BEEFCAKE!

BRUTUS comes out, and thanks Buddy for having him.

ROSE responds that the pleasure is all Beefcake’s.

BUDDY talks about Brutus’ career, and says that he’s made a name for himself by going around, cutting people’s hair!

BRUTUS ignores the jab, and says that he’s been in all the top promotions, all over North America, but the GWF is the big leagues, this is where it’s at!

BRUTUS looks Buddy over, and says that it looks like Rose could use a haircut himself, a little off the top, and a little off the sides, perhaps?

ROSE quickly backs away a few steps, and tells Brutus that if he even THINKS about touching this gorgeous mane of hair, he’ll be very, very sorry!

BRUTUS pulls out a pair of scissors, and moves towards Rose, but Buddy hightails it out of there, leaving Brutus alone on the set.

BRUTUS tells the fans that there’s going to be a lot of “struttin’ and cuttin’” going on in the GWF!


SCOTT HUDSON is at ringside, and sends us up to the ring for the next match, featuring the “Dream Team” of El Hijo Del Santo and Jushin Liger!


MIKE MCGUIRK is in the ring, and she introduces the competitors for the next match of the evening.


EL HIJO DEL SANTO & JUSHIN LIGER b. THE TEXAS HANGMEN – Santo and Liger make short work of Mean Mike and Tough Tom.  Liger gets the win after a Liger Bomb on Mean Mike.


Afterwards, THE UNHOLY ALLIANCE hit the ring and attack Liger and Santo from behind!

The two teams brawl in the ring, as HAYABUSA and ULTIMO DRAGON arrive on the scene as well!

The three teams that will meet in a Triple Threat match at California Clash then brawl in, and around, the ring for the next few minutes, hitting all kinds of crazy high-flying moves!

Eventually the six men all brawl down the aisle and out of sight.


SCOTT HUDSON interviews EDDY and CHAVO GUERRERO JR at ringside.

EDDY talks about what happened on February 3, with Chavo getting attacked in the locker room, then Juvy and Psychosis painting a yellow streak down his back.

EDDY then challenges Juvy and Psychosis to meet him and Chavo Jr in a tag team match at California Clash . . . a COWARDS WAVE THE FLAG match!  Both teams will have a second at ringside, and the only way to win is to get the other team’s second to wave a white flag of surrender!

CHAVO says that he wants to add a stipulation.  Because of the humiliation he suffered when Juvy and Psychosis painted that streak down his back, he wants a stipulation added that the winning team gets to paint a yellow streak down the backs of both members of the losing team!

EDDY says that if Juvy and Psychosis have to guts to agree to this match, we’ll see who the real cowards are, when he and Chavo force Juvy and Psychosis to wave the flag!

HUGH MORRUS b. DAVEY RICH & JACKIE FULTON – Rich and Fulton give it their all, but they don’t stand a chance against the one man wrecking crew, Hugh Morrus!  Morrus pounds both opponents into the mat, laughing maniacally the entire time!  Morrus wins the match after hitting a Moonsault on Rich, then Powerbombing Fulton on top of him, and pinning both men at the same time!


SCOTT HUDSON interviews Global Champion KONNAN at ringside.

SCOTT talks about what happened on February 3 at the Sportatorium, when Vampiro met Hugh Morrus.


CLIP: Hugh Morrus powerbombing Vampiro through the timekeeper’s table, then knocking Vampiro off the stretcher, and assaulting him some more, until Konnan made the save.


KONNAN says that Morrus is a monster, there’s no doubt about that, but he’s never backed down from anyone in his life, and he’s not about to start now!

KONNAN tells Morrus he’ll fight him anytime, anywhere!


HUDSON says that when we come back, Dustin Rhodes will square off with Black Bart, and Dustin will be looking for payback after what Bart and Duncum did to him last week!

SCOTT HUDSON briefly recaps the feud between Dustin Rhodes and Bobby Duncum Jr, before sending us up to the ring for the main event.


MIKE MCGUIRK is in the ring, and she introduces the competitors for the main event of the evening.


BLACK BART (w/ Gary Hart) pinned DUSTIN RHODES.
The two men tore the El Paso County Coliseum apart, brawling in the ring, around ringside, and even out into the first few rows of seats!

Late in the match, Bobby Duncum Jr made his way to ringside to join Gary Hart.  Dustin had the upper hand, and ran the ropes, but Duncum tripped him from the floor.  This gave Bart the advantage, and a moment later, he hit the Trash Compactor and got the three-count!

As the ref is raising Bart’s arm, TITO SANTANA comes down to the ring, and informs the ref that Bobby Duncum interfered!

BART and DUNCUM took exception to that, and they jumped Santana, giving him a beating on the arena floor, until Dustin Rhodes grabbed a nearby chair, and chased them off!

Back from the break, SCOTT HUDSON says that the Wild Bunch and Dustin Rhodes and Scott Putski had to be separated during the commercials.

SCOTT says that when the Wild Bunch meet Dustin, Putski and Tito Santana at California Clash, it’s going to be a real slobberknocker, as these two teams want nothing more than to completely destroy the other!

SCOTT HUDSON interviews Global Champion KONNAN at ringside.



SCOTT says that two weeks ago, he mentioned that Konnan was being recognized by the city of Miami for his work with kids in the city.  They have footage of the event, but things didn’t go quite as expected...


We see Konnan in a room, full of people in tuxedos and evening gowns.

A man standing at a podium talks about all the work that Konnan has being doing with the youth of Miami, helping to keep the kids out of gangs and whatnot.

The man then asks Konnan to come up and say a few words.

KONNAN stands up, wearing a tux himself, and starts to walk towards the podium.

He doesn’t make it, though, as HUGH MORRUS appears out of nowhere, and clobbers Konnan from behind!




MORRUS grabs an empty plate off one of the nearby tables, and SMASHES IT OVER KONNAN’S HEAD!

KONNAN was caught completely off-guard, and doesn’t stand a chance here, as Morrus beats him to a pulp!

MORRUS laughs maniacally, and says that Konnan threw down a challenge last week on Global Wrestling, and now he’s got his answer!

MORRUS tells Konnan that he’ll see him at California Clash, and then walks off, laughing like a maniac.


KONNAN is LIVID, and he tells Hugh Morrus that Morrus is right, he’ll see him at California Clash, and Konnan says that Morrus is going to get the beating of his life!

HUDSON says that Morrus will be in action when we come back.

HUGH MORRUS beats TATAYUKI IIZUKA – Morrus destroys his opponent, hitting the Powerbomb for the win.  Iizuka goes out on a stretcher.

During the match, Hudson hypes Morrus challenging Konnan for the Global Championship at California Clash on March 9.

After the match, Morrus tips over Iizuka’s stretcher and puts the boots to Iizuka.




KONNAN charges back out, and pounces on Morrus.  They brawl back towards the ring, where Konnan grabs a chair and waffles Morrus with it!

Morrus staggers, but doesn’t go down!  Konnan hits him over the head again, and Morrus still doesn’t go down!  He kicks Konnan in the gut, and grabs the chair.

Before Morrus can hit Konnan with the chair, a group of referees and enhancement wrestlers get in between them.

GORDON welcomes us to the California Clash Control Center, and then talks about some of the matches that have been signed for California Clash on March 9 in Los Angeles . . .

* Dustin Rhodes, Tito Santana and Scott Putski meet The Wild Bunch, Duncum, Orton and Black Bart, in a 6-man tag team match!

* Global Tag Team Champions Damien 666 & Halloween put the belts on the line against not only El Hijo Del Santo and Jushin Liger, but the team of Hayabusa and Ultimo Dragon as well in a Triple Threat Match!

* Konnan puts the title on the line against the one-man wrecking crew, Hugh Morrus!

* Eddy and Chavo Guerrero Jr have issued a challenge to Juventud Guerrera and Psychosis for a “Cowards Wave the Flag” match.


GORDON then brings in JUVENTUD GUERRERA and PSYCHOSIS.

   


GORDON talks about the challenge issued by Eddy and Chavo Guerrero Jr, to a tag team match, where each team would have a second in their corner, and the match would continue until one team’s second waves a white flag to indicate that his team has surrendered.

JUVY accepts the challenge, and says that after they force the Guerreros to wave the flag, everyone will know what he and Psychosis have known all along, the Guerreros are nothing but a bunch of yellow bellied cowards!

JUVY then introduces their second for the match, a man that they both trust not to wave the flag . . .



Juvy’s father, FUERZA GUERRERA!

FUERZA says that he will be at ringside with his son, and Psychosis, not to wave the flag, but to watch them beat those Guerreros punks within an inch of their lives!

We cut to backstage, earlier in the day.

Scott Hudson is talking to Commissioner Dory Funk Jr, then turns and walks away.

He rounds a corner, and comes face to face with . . .



THAT’S DOINK THE CLOWN!!


DOINK offers his hand to Hudson, who hesitates for a moment, but then goes ahead and shakes Doink’s hand . . . and gets zapped!

DOINK laughs, and then walks off.

HUDSON can’t help but chuckle to himself as he watches Doink walk off down the hallway.


SCOTT says that he has no idea what Doink is doing here, but he has a feeling that we’ll all find out soon enough.

Juvy and Psychosis are carrying a can of yellow paint with them!

JUVENTUD GUERRERA & PSYCHOSIS beat JESSE JAMES (Steve Armstrong) & HECTOR GUERRERO – James and Guerrero give Juvy and Psychosis a tough match, but in the end, Juvy puts Jesse James away with the Juvy Driver, while Psychosis brawls with Hector.

The winners of the match, by pinfall: JUVENTUD GUERRERA & PSYCHOSIS

   

Afterwards, JUVY and PSYCHOSIS throw Jesse James out of the ring, then grab the can of paint . . . and proceed to paint a yellow streak down the back of Hector Guerrero!


SCOTT HUDSON says that Juvy and Psychosis continue to humiliate the Guerrero family, but he has a feeling that’s going to come to an end at California Clash, when Juvy and Psychosis face off with Eddy and Chavo in a “Cowards Wave the Flag” match!

BUDDY ROSE welcomes the fans to this week’s edition of THE ROSE GARDEN, and introduces his guest, the beautiful MS. BANKS!

MS. BANKS comes out, with some papers in her hand.

BUDDY says that Ms. Banks arrived in the GWF last week, and said that she would use her family’s Wall Street money to create a stable of the top wrestlers in the GWF.

BANKS says that’s exactly what she’s going to do, and says that she’s already made a choice on the first member of her stable, which she refers to as the BANKS FOUNDATION.  This man will be the cornerstone of the Banks Foundation.

BANKS then asks that THE TAYLOR MADE MAN come out!




TAYLOR walks onto the set.  He takes Ms. Banks’ hand, and kisses it.

BANKS tells Taylor that he’s the most impressive wrestler she’s seen in the GWF, and would like to make him the cornerstone of the Banks Foundation!

She then hands him the papers, saying she has a contract for him.

Taylor gives it a quick read over, and then signs it!

MS. BANKS says that this is only the beginning, and she promises to add more names very soon.

BUDDY ROSE says that fans have just witnessed history, the first wrestler added to the Banks Foundation, a group that he’s sure will rise to the top of the Global Wrestling Federation!


SCOTT HUDSON can’t believe it, and says that the Banks Foundation is off to a big start, with the signing of the Taylor Made Man!

HUDSON recaps the events over the past month or so, involving Dustin, Putski and Tito and Gary Hart’s Wild Bunch, including Bobby Duncum Jr using a foreign object to beat Dustin a while back on television, and then on February 3, Duncum and Black Bart assaulted Putski after his match with Duncum.

DUSTIN says that, at California Clash, the three of them are going to beat the Wild Bunch so bad, that they’ll never step foot in a GWF ring again!

PUTSKI says that the Wild Bunch have been running roughshod since they came to the GWF, and he’s not going to stand for it.

TITO says that he can’t wait to team up with Dustin and Putski at California Clash, to teach the Wild Bunch a lesson.  ARRIBA!




MIKE MCGUIRK introduces the competitors for the next contest.


BRUTUS BEEFCAKE defeats VANCE NEVADA – Brutus works Nevada over, and then locks on the Sleeperhold.  It doesn’t take long for the lights to go out.

After the match is over, BRUTUS pulls out a pair of scissors . . . and proceeds to cut some of Nevada’s hair as the fans cheer him on!


SCOTT HUDSON sends us backstage, where GORDON SOLIE is standing by with two newcomers to the GWF, HARLEY RACE and KING KONG BUNDY.



SOLIE introduces Race and Bundy.




HARLEY RACE brags about all of his accomplishments as a wrestler, and says that now he’s going to pass on all of his knowledge to this man, King Kong Bundy, and take him straight to the top of the GWF!

RACE says that not only is Bundy unbeatable, but he doesn’t think there’s anyone in the GWF that can even take him off his feet!

RACE and BUNDY walk off.


GORDON then introduces another newcomer to the GWF . . . HACKSAW JIM DUGGAN!



Duggan’s got the 2x4 in one hand, and he’s waving the American flag with the other hand.

SOLIE welcomes Duggan to the GWF.

TITO SANTANA & SCOTT PUTSKI defeat BOBBY DUNCUM JR & BOB ORTON JR (w/ Gary Hart) – This match is a wild one, as all four men brawl in the ring, paying no attention to the referee!

As the match progresses, the Wild Bunch get the upper hand, using underhanded tactics, like choking Tito or Putski with the tag rope when they get them into their corner.

Late in the match, DUSTIN RHODES makes his way down to ringside.




DUSTIN picks up the cowboy hat that Bobby Duncum Jr wears to the ring . . . THEN PULLS OUT A PAIR OF SCISSORS, AND STARTS CUTTING IT UP!!!


Duncum sees what’s going on, and he’s LIVID!  He jumps out of the ring and takes off after Dustin Rhodes, leaving Bob Orton Jr alone in the ring!

Orton puts up a fight, but Tito and Putski eventually wear him down, and Tito connects with the flying forearm smash.

BOBBY DUNCUM JR (w/ Gary Hart, Black Bart and Bob Orton Jr) beats TATAYUKI IIZUKA – Duncum gets the win after hitting Iizuka with a vicious Lariat for the pinfall.

Afterwards, Duncum, Bart and Orton stomp Iizuka until he rolls out of the ring.

THE UNHOLY ALLIANCE (Champs) beat STEVE SIMPSON & DAVEY RICH – Halloween pinned Davey Rich after the Unholy Alliance hit Rich with Montezuma’s Revenge.

THE GLADIATOR beats TEXAS HANGMAN #2 (Tough Tom) – The Texas Hangman puts up a good fight, but the Gladiator eventually wears him down, and hits the Discus Punch for the pinfall.

BRUTUS BEEFCAKE beats JOHNNY PARADISE – Brutus gets the win with the Sleeperhold.

During the match, TAYLOR MADE MAN cuts an insert promo regarding his California Clash with Brutus, saying that Brutus won’t be cutting any of his hair on March 9.

After the match, BRUTUS pulls out a pair of scissors, and proceeds to cut some of Paradise’s hair!!

SCOTT HUDSON sends us to a pre-taped segment with Damien 666 and Halloween.




DAMIEN 666 and HALLOWEEN are in a dark room, standing behind what looks to be a home-made altar.

Laid out on the altar, are two pictures, one of Hayabusa & Ultimo Dragon, and one of Jushin Liger & El Hijo Del Santo.

DAMIEN promises a victory at California Clash, and then says he will show everyone what’s going to happen to their opponents on March 9.

DAMIEN then starts chanting, his eyes roll back in his head . . . and both pictures BURST INTO FLAMES!!

The flames eventually completely engulf the altar, and the camera zooms in, so all we can see is flames, and Damien laughs in the background as the segment ends.


HUDSON says that those are two creepy dudes, and says that he can’t wait to see the Triple Threat match at California Clash.

When we come back, it’s main event time.  First, Bob Orton Jr meets Scott Putski, and then Dustin Rhodes challenges Raven for the Global TV Title!

BOB ORTON JR (w/ Gary Hart, Bobby Duncum Jr and Black Bart) beats SCOTT PUTSKI – Putski and Orton give the fans a wild fight, but in the end, Orton gets the win after Gary Hart tripped Putski from ringside, and Orton delivered a kneedrop off the top rope.

The winner of the match, by pinfall: BOB ORTON JR




After the match, the rest of the Wild Bunch jump into the ring and put the boots to Putski!

While Orton holds Putski, so he can’t move out of the way, BLACK BART jumps off the top rope with the Trash Compactor!

BOBBY DUNCUM JR then grabs a chair, and repeatedly bashes Putski in the knee with it!

Finally, a group of babyfaces, led by Dustin Rhodes and Tito Santana, hit the ring and chase the Wild Bunch off.

PUTSKI is loaded up onto a stretcher, and is carried from the ring, clutching his knee.


We go to pre-recorded comments from HARLEY RACE and KING KONG BUNDY

RACE talks about California Clash on March 9, and says that he feels sorry for the poor schmuck who has to face Bundy, because he’s going to get crushed!

BUNDY says the people in California know all about disasters, whether it be earthquakes or wildfires, but nothing can prepare them for the carnage and destruction that King Kong Bundy will bring on March 9!


SCOTT HUDSON talks about King Kong Bundy, and says that he doesn’t envy whoever has to face Bundy at California Clash.

HUDSON then turns our attention to DOINK THE CLOWN.



DOINK is walking around ringside, high-fiving some of the younger fans, and he even sprays a few of the fans with water from the flower on his jacket!

HUDSON laughs about this, and then sends us to our last commercial break.

GLOBAL TV TITLE MATCH
DUSTIN RHODES beats RAVEN (Champ) by DQ – Rhodes gives Raven a tough match, and at one point it looks as though Rhodes might have the match won . . . until BOBBY DUNCUM JR and BOB ORTON JR hit the ring!



RAVEN just sits back and watches as Duncum and Orton beat Rhodes to a pulp.  Duncum even takes one of his cowboy boots off, and repeatedly bashes Dustin with it, and takes the spurs and digs them into Dustin’s forehead!

SCOTT HUDSON says that we’re out of time, and the credits start to roll, as Duncum and Orton continue to pummel Rhodes in the ring!
