10-3-95 - Boardwalk Hall Atlantic City, NJ"Mean" Gene Okerlund and "The Genius"Lanny Poffo welcome us to Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey for another exciting edition of Eastern Championship Wrestling! They then briefly recap last week's show, ECW Old School Rulz! Gene is amazed that not one, not two; but all Titles changed hands last week. Except Lanny reminds us that of the Inter-Promotional Champion "The Long Island Loud-Mouth" Chris Jericho. Okerlund rolls his eyes and says that's because he didn't defend it; but Poffo says that wasn't Chris' fault. After weeks of harrassing Jericho, WCW's Sting failed to show. "The Genius" says that he obviously is a coward.
Gene disagrees, but changing the subject runs down tonight's card. He says that while some of tonight's action has yet to be determined, he can tell you it will be one hell of a night with both the new Eastern States Champion Lord William Regal and the new ECW Light Heavyweight Champ Doug Gilbert in action tonight. Legendary Four Horseman member Tully Blanchard who showed up and helped his old teammate Arn Anderson at Old School Rulz is also said to have signed an ECW contract and will have his first match here tonight.Just then "Fire" by Scooter hits and out from the back comes the former ECW Champion "Mr. Wrestling" Steve Corino with the Omega Horsemen in tow. He doesn't look happy at all and argues with the booing fans as he makes his way down to the ring. He gets the microphone thanking "fat-ass" before telling the audience to shut up. He isn't out here to make them happy. He only has one reason why he's out here tonight and that's to get his rematch against "Ravishing" Rick Rude tonight. He says last week he was cheated out of the Title and he refuses to leave his home state without it back where it belongs. So while he has a little score to settle with that has-been Randy Savage; he's putting that aside for now. Because tonight in America's Playground he's going to take Rude to school and teach him a lesson about what happens to anyone who messes with him and the Omega Horsemen.Rick Rude'sn strip theme then hits as the new ECW Champion "Ravishing" Rick Rude comes out onto the ramp with the Title. He tells them to cut his music before telling Steve that he isn't surprised he's from New Jersey. Because this past weekend Rude hit the casinos, sampled the food... and the women here. And overall, not bad. But the one thing Rick saw in the casinos here that just made him sick to his stomach? Sore losers. Cry babies. Wah. Wah. Wah. People who came here and put it all on the line hoping to win it big time. Only to lose. Big time. Which is exactly what Steve Corino did last week. He wants to tell us a sob story about how the "Macho Man" cost him the Title? Well he has news Stevie. There was only two men in the ring last week. "Mr. Wrestling"... and the ECW Champion "Ravishing" Rick Rude. Now Rude knows Corino is going to get his little rematch. Next week, the week after; maybe a month from now. He's owed it. But Rick is a betting man, so he figures why wait? Let's do this here tonight! The two men are then interrupted as "White Train" by Tito & Tarantula hits and ECW Eric Bischoff joins Rude on the ramp going "Woah, woah, woah." He says that they'd both right. He says that Steve Corino is going to get his Title shot. And he's glad to here Rick Rude is ready to defend his Title already. But while Rick Rude is going to get to hand Corino his ass again and believe him, Bischoff wants to see it as much as we do; it isn't gonna happent tonight. Because Bischoff has already booked "Mr. Wrestling" in a match tonight with an opponent he knows very well. And that opponent is... "Macho Man" Randy Savage! Corino's eyes go buggy and he says Eric can't do this! Randy Savage meanwhile appears on the ramp and shakes hands with Eric and Rick before talking into Bischoff's mic and saying ""Macho Man" Randy Savage against Steve Corino tonight! Oooooh Yeah!!!!"After the break Joel Gertner makes the intros for the first match of the night as one half of the Tag-Team Champs Aryan appears on the ramp with The Baron Von Raschke as "Ich tu der weh" by Rammstein explodes across the arena.Match: Rob Van Dam vs. Aryan Von Raschke Aryan von Raschke is no slouch and having his father The Baron on the outside gives him an edge early on when he nearly takes Rob Van Dam out with a lifting DDT. Both men are cocky and taunt one another throughout the match as they get several nearfalls before "Mr. Wednesday Night" puts Aryan down for the three count from referee S.D. Jones with the 450 degree splash. After the match we're taken to ECW correspondent Terri Runnels who's talking to "The Doctor of Syle" the Reverend Slick, who is with his team of "Hacksaw" Butch Reed and Brickhouse Brown. Slick is telling Terri how unhappy he and his men are about The Baron's Ubermensch becoming the new Tag-Team Champs, having defeated The Lawlers at Old School Rulz. But how that's only going to make their victory all the sweeter when they take the belts off that pair of Krauts. Ain't that right boys? Butch replies with the usual "Affirmative" and pounds Slick's hand, but when they stair up at Brickhouse, Brown seems a bit spaced out. Slick tries to get his attention and after a second he says "Yeah. Affirmative."Match: Ivory vs. Takako Inoue Danny Davis officiates as the former Women's Champ Ivory faces off against Takako Inoue whom she ends up taking out with the Poison Ivory sitout facebuster. After the match Ivory heads to the back where she's approached by ECW correspondent Terri Runnels who asks her for her thoughts about losing the Women's Championship at Old School Rulz; but Ivory just gives her the cold shoulder.Back from the break banjo music is playing as "The Redneck Rebel" Doug Gilbert and his Cousin Jamie finish having their hoedown in the middle of the ring. Getting on the microphone Doug Gilbert shows off his newly won ECW Light Heavyweight Championship. He says that as we all witnessed last week, ol' Dougie Gilbert whooped the snot out of that punk Hardy kid at Old School Rulz. He's proud of winning the Title and bringing yet another Championship to the Gilbert legacy. And that he plans to hold onto this Title for a damned long time. Longer than "Schlock and Droll" Buck Zumhoff, sheesh way longer thn Jeff Hardy. One month? Please. And if anyone here don't believe him. Well you just come on down here and try and take this here belt. Cause you'll be prying it from his cold dead fingers. The Kaientai Theme then hits and Mr. Fuji leads "The Japanese BUzzsaw" down to the ring.Match: Doug Gilbert vs. Yoshihiro Tajiri In this non-Title bout Doug Gilbert does his best to keep pace with the high flying prowess of Yoshihiro Tajiri who dazzles the crowd with numerous dropkicks, a handspring back elbow; and hopping up to the top rope from the apron hits a picture perfect hurrancanrana on the Lightweight Champ. Gilbert hits several armdrags and makes pin attempts following a lariat takedown and a scoop powerslam, but fails to put "The Buzzsaw" away. The end comes when Doug Gilbert pretends to trip and argues with S.D. Jones that Mr. Fuji grabbed his feet. While the ref is distracted Cousin Jamie charges in and hits Tajiri with a side-Russian legsweep! Telling Jones to forget rhw interference, Doug Gilbert pulls Yoshihiro Tajiri up to his feet and hits the Michinoku Driver II before making the cover and picks another win."Mean" Gene and Lanny welcome us back from the break and remind us that next week's show will be coming to us live from the Brendan Byrne Arena in East Rutherford, New Jersey and that while tickets for that show are sold out, those folks at home should be sure to join us right here on ECW's home station of TNN The Nashville Network!Best Hulk Hogan Tribute Real AmericanHulk Hogan's music hits?! And out comes The Hulkster! The fans begin cheering as Hulk Hogan heads down the ramp in street clothes and shakes hands and slaps fives with members of the audience. Once inside the ring he poses for pictures and cups the ears riling up the crowd even more. Finally he gets the microphone from Joel Gertner and thanks him.
Hogan then thanks all the HUlkamaniacs out there in the arena tonight. Now he's planning on keeping this short. Cause he has a very specific reason for being out here tonight. You see last week he was here with his family. He wasn't here looking for a fight. He wasn't here to talk trash. Or to spy on the competition brother. He was here for the same reasons all you good folks are here tonight. To enjoy a damned good wrestling show. And while he was here he saw alot of old friends. "The Macho Man," Junkyard Dog, "Mean" Gene, even Rick Rude. And congrats again to "Ravishing" for winning the big one brother.
But you know who he didn't have anything to say to? Who he didn't have any feelings toward one way or the other? You all know who The Hulkster's talking about. The people at home know. God aboves knows. Yeah. He's talking about a certain "Loud-Mouth" brothers. Now Hulk isn't looking for a fight tonight. What he said last week? Well he meant it from the bottom of his soul. He's done with this business. He's been in and out of this ring. Taking down giants. Proving time and again he's the best in the world. For 25 long years man. So no. He's not looking for a fight with Chris Jericho brother. But what he is looking for is to have a few words with this so-called Inter-Promotional Champion. So Jericho? Come on out.Best Hulk Hogan Tribute Real AmericanHulk Hogan's music hits again?! Hogan looks a bit confused until from the back prances the Inter-Promotional Champion Chris Jericho done up in Hogan's red and yellow gear. He's wearing a bald cap with some of his blonde hair sticking out and has the IP Title tightly wrapped about his waist. The Hulkster is stunned as Chris comes bounding into the ring and mimics him as he poses for the fans flexing his muscles and doing the Hogan ear cup thing. Jericho then stops in front of Hogan and snatches the mic from his hand!
He wags his finger in Hulk's face and he says "No. No. No brother. You didn't do what the Jerichoster just thinks he did! He didn't call out Chris Jericho in front of all these Jerichomaniacs! He didn't just give an ultimatum to these 48" pythons brother! Cause he knows if he did... oh man brother. It's gonna be like a whirlwing ripped right through Atlantic City brother. There's gonna be little old ladies putting coins in the slots brother. There's gonna be high rollers styling and profiln' in their limos man; and there's gonna be hookers walking up and down them streets. And this whirwind called Jerichomania is gonna come through brother. It's gonna pick them all up brother. It's gonna sweep them through the air. Spin them round. Slam them down from the very heavens! And then put them down right here, crashing down on the head of Hulk Hogan! Working together with the Jerichomaniacs to put down Hulk Hogan and his precious Hulkamania 1!... 2!... 3!
Hulk Hogan can't help it and laughs a bit. When Jericho holds off and slaps him again!! Hulk isn't laughing anymore and begins shaking his head. But Chris smacks him again!!! Hogan puts up is finger and wags it in Jericho's face visibly reddening. When Chris Jericho's reels back for a third strike! But this time Hogan catches Chris by the arm and lets him have it! He lays into "The Loud-Mouth" hammering him across the ring back into the ropes where he whips him and connects with a back body drop! Hogan then grabs his shirt and tears it off! The arena explodes as Hulk Hogan runs the ropes and connects with the legdrop! Jericho is out of it as Hogan stands over him. After a minute passes Hulk grabs the Inter-Promtional Title off of Chris and begins shaking his head! He holds it up into the air and points at it! The arena is going nuts and so is Okerlund who says that Hogan's intentions are obvious. He wants a shot at the Inter-Promotional Title! Hogan holds the belt over his head and shakes his head before letting it drop on Chris' prone chest and exits the ring. The fans slap him on the back as he heads back up the ramp.Tag-Team Match: Dreamer & Rhodes vs. Destruction Inc. These two teams have met several times in the past and have formed quite the bitter rivalry. When Danny Davis starts up the match Mongo Vyle and Tommy Dreamer start things off. All four men see ring time and several pin attempts are made including one on Dustin Rhodes who gets hit with the Death Drop flapjack/cutter combo when he enters the ring illegally to save his partner. It pays off in the end when Tommy Dreamer hits Rhino with a vicious DDT and gets the pinfall.
After the match Destruction Inc.'s valet Takako Inoue is pissed and screams at Mongo Vyle to teacher Rhino a lesson. "The Man-Beast" doesn't seem to know which way the chips will fall and rolls from the ring, arguing with Mongo on the outside until Takako slaps the stunned "Machiavellan Mauler." The victorious Dreamer and Rhodes share a drink from a flask as they head back up the ramp laughing at their opponents.William Regal cuts a promo on his win at Old School Rulz over The Blitzkrieg, telling us that on September 26th once again when the odds seemed down; the British triumphed over the Axis of Evil. He then talks about moving on from here as the Eastern States Champion and continuing his winning streak here in ECW. Cheerio.Match: William Regal vs. Erin O'Grady "The Leprechaun" Erin O'Grady gives the new Eastern States Champ a fight, getting nearfalls off a schoolboy and later when he hits Regal with his patented Lucky Charm lifting double underhook DDT. William Regal however gives better than he gets, pulling out a surfboard submission move; and nailing both a half nelson suplex and the Regal Cutter arm trap neckbreaker. But it is only when he brings O'Grady crashing down to the mat with a double underhook suplex off the top rope that William Regal picks up the three count from referee S.D. Jones. Back from the break Terri Runnels is in front of the ECW banner talking with "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson, his protegee Scott Taylor; and Tully Blanchard! Arn tells Terri how he warned The Omega Horsemen that if they interfered in their match at Old School Rulz he had a contingency plan worked up. And that "plan" was his good friend Tully Blanchard.
Tully then tells us over the last year he's been wasting his time waiting out a contract for a company that was going nowhere. He was dragging his feet, not getting pushed. And it only got worse. Because there was his friend, his comrade, his brother Double A Arn Anderson, Heavyweight Champ. The greatest Heavyweight Champ in this company's history. And he gets robbed. He gets insulted. His legacy gets brought down. Mocked by a quartet of talentless young runts. Four men who couldn't lace up the boots of "The Enforcer." Of Windham. Of Ric Flair. Of Tully Blanchard. These clowns prancing around here night after night calling themselves Horsemen. Horsemen! The nerve. Hell Paul Roma was more deserving of the name. And there they were beating down Savage. Hitting Arn with a chair. Always fighting in a pack. Well Blanchard thought to himself, ol' Arn has a pack too brother. And that contract? It ran out. So the second he could Tully hopped on a plane, headed to New York; and showed that big goof, that stooge Jason Venom what being a Horseman is all about!
Arn then gets back on the mic and says that's right Corino. Your time in the spotlight is at an end. You got to play your little numbers game. But that's all over now. There are three of us now. And only four of you. You see while "Mr. Wrestling" and his flock like playing the Horsemen's games, they can only be an imitation at best. And a bad one at that. Which is why last week ol' AA and his buddy Scott Taylor took those Hardy kids down for the count. Because whether it's one on one, two on two; or three on three it doesn't matter. When the numbers are even, in this ring the Omega "Horsemen" just don't measure up. Tonight it's Jason Venom. But from here on out Arn's making it his mission to take Corino and his ilk down for good. You can bet on that.Match: Tully Blanchard w/ Anderson & Taylor vs. Jason Venom w/ The Hardy Boyz Danny Davis starts the match and Tully Blanchard tries to put Jason Venom down early in both men's debut match here at ECW. He fails however and Jason Venom uses his tremendous strength to stay in the fight, at times throwing Blanchard about the ring. The Hardy Boyz constantly interfere to aide him but are kept in check by Arn Anderson and Scott Taylor. Venom looks impressive, but eventually Tully gets the drop on him and whips him into the ropes, taking him down to the mat with a dropkick. He attempts to keep the big man down with several elbow drops before heading up top. Venom however doesn't stay down and getting back to his feet charges Tully who goes airborne and catches Jason off-guard connecting with a diving sunset flip! 1!... 2!... Matt and Jeff Hardy rush into the ring to break the count! Arn and Scott don't sit for this however and rush in to make the save with an all-out brawl erupting! Davis attempts to restore order, but ends up calling for the bell declaring it a No Contest.
This doesn't stop the fighting however and after several minutes big Jason Venom takes Arn and Tully down with a double clothesline before pulling Scott Taylor off Matt Hardy who he's forced into the corner and lays him out with the Venom sheer-drop release powerbomb! With Taylor down Jason celebrates a but before turning right into the waiting arms of Anderson and Blanchard who nail him with a double spike pildriver flattening him! The Hardy Boyz by now are getting back up to his feet and running over to them, Tully and Arn clothesline the duo out of the ring. After shaking hands, the duo help Scott Taylor to his feet and stand victorious for the cheering crowd while Jeff and Matt reach into the ring and grabbing Venom by his feet pull the big man out. They argue with their opponents as they skulk back up the ramp to the back.Okerlund and Poffo welcome us back from the final commercial break of the evening. They then discuss tonight's big main event in which two former ECW Champions and partners collide. They start at the beginning with "Macho Man" Randy Savage taking Steve Corino under his wing after he was fired by ECW President Eric Bischoff last year. Though Okerlund admits, Savage had ulterior motives, using Corino as his "protegee" to mock Arn Anderson's relationship with Scott Taylor. Lanny argues that Randy taught "Mr. Wrestling" alot of useful job skills; including carrying bags, opening car doors; and sometimes taking a boot to the head. Speaking of which "Mean" Gene interrupts and reminds us about the night Savage was set to fight the Monster known as The Blitzkrieg and claimed to have a rock in his shoe. He sent Steve Corino in his stead and didn't even stick around to watch the young man get massacred. After this however Corino and Savage seemed to have made amends. They fought Destruction Inc. together at ECW's big event Hardcore Heaven defeating them and later went on to defeat then ECW Tag-Team Champions The Lawlers earning a shot at those Titles. Their alliance would prove short-lived however when "Macho Man" Randy Savage was set to face "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson for the ECW Championship. After winning a match against Scott Taylor where the winning side got to choose the stipulation of that Championship match, Steve Corino was added to the match making it a 2 on 1 Handicap match for the Title. Randy Savage appeared set to reclaim the ECW Championship after hitting the Flying Elbow Drop on Savage when out of nowhere Steve Corino betrayed "The Macho Man" and made the cover, becoming the ECW Champ himself in the process. As if this wasn't bad enough though, at their very next meeting Steve Corino introduced "Macho Man" Randy Savage and ECW to his Omega Horsemen who handed Savage a vicious beating, a result of which "Macho Man" wasn't seen here at Eastern Championship for months. He returned here last week at Old School rulz, stopping Jason Venom from interfering in "Mr. Wrestling" Steve Corino's match with "Ravishing" Rick Rude. A move which cost Corino the Title. Tonight they will meet in the ring as opponents for the first time ever.
Gertner: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and is the main event of the evening. Introducing first from Sea Isle City, New Jersey; he calls himself "Mr. Wrestling" Steve Corino!
Corino comes out with his Flair-esque robe for the first time since July without the ECW Title. Despite being in his home state, he mostly gets booed as he heads down to the ring where referee S.D. Jones is waiting. "Pomp and Circumstance" hits.
Gertner: And now introducing his challenger this evening from Sarasota, Florida weighing in at 240 lbs. and accompanied to the ring by "Hot Stuff" Debbie Combs; he is "The Macho Man" Randy Savage!Main Event: Randy Savage vs. Steve Corino Savage gets a huge ovation as he returns to an ECW ring for the first time since Corino and the Omega Horsemen's attack on him in July. He poses for the crowd before hopping down and facing off against Steve Corino. The two men talk trash for a bit and Savage throws the first punch sending Steve reeling back across the ring. Jones starts the match and the early going is all "Macho Man" as he beats Corino from one end of the ring to the other. He hits several of his signature moves including an atomic drop and whipping Steve across the ring, charges after him and hits the hairpull hangman! Savage isn't looking for the cover and is out to hurt Corino who is looking in a bad way when Jason Venom leads the Hardy Boyz down to the ring. This distratces the ref just long enough for "Mr. Wrestling" who is down on one knee to change the course of the match with a low blow to Savage! Dropping Randy to his knees Corino dominates Savage for a bit, hitting him with an inverted facelock neckbreaker slam, making the cover and getting a two count. He attempts to keep Randy down with several stomps and punches; but "Macho Man" fights his way up to his feet and mounts a comeback. The two men fight back and forth with Steve connecting with the sliding lariat and diving legdrop and Savage using a delayed vertical suplex and hitting the running high knee in the corner goes up top. Savage signals for the Flying Elbow Drop! But the Hardy Boyz climb up onto the apron and attempts to pull him off. He fights with them a bit and S.D. Jones orders them down; but the damage is done and Steve Corino is back up on his feet. Meanwhile the arena goes crazy as Arn Anderson, Tully Blanchard; and Scott Taylor appear on the ramp! They rush down to ringside and begin brawling with the Omega Horsemen! Corino meanwhile grabs the distracted Savage and throws him off the top into the center of the ring. He stalks Randy and as Savage gets back to his feet; "Mr. Wrestling" strikes with the superkick! He goes for the pin! 1!... 2!.... Savage kicks out! By now officials and security including ECW President Eric Bischoff are on the outside breaking up the brawl. Steve has pulled Randy back up to his feet and is hammering on him when Savage catches Corino's fist and begins hammering back! The two men begin trading punches; but "The Macho Man" drivers Corino back into the ropes and whips him across the ring! He charges him and spins him with a back elbow smash before scooping his opponent up into the air! Randy Savage points to the fans and shakes his head giving them an "Ooooh Yeah!" before hitting the Piledriver! He hooks the leg and it's over! Debbie Combs rushes in and celebrates with "Macho Man" as the...

10/06/95 - New Jersey"Here I Am Rocking Like a Hurricane" by The Scorpions plays as "Rock 'N Roll" Buck Zumhoff appears on the set of a brightly colored talk show set with a Rock 'N Roll/Wrestling theme. He is limping a little but boogies on out and high fives several of the cheering kids and their parents before getting on the stage before them. He then introduces himself as AWA Legend and former ECW Lightweight Champion; and wrestling's one and only true "Rock 'N Roller" Buck Zumhoff!'He then welcomes everyone to another episode of ECW Slammin' Saturdays Season 3! He then says he has an exciting show for us today because those two swinging hepcats The Hughes Brothers will be in action here today! He then heads over to the broadcast booth where he introduces his co-host "Captain" Lou Albano! Albano scoffs that Buck must love it when little Spike Hughes is on the show, simply for the fact Zumhoff looks like Hulk Hogan by comparison. The original "Rock 'N Roller" informs us that Albano is just bitter because Walter Hudson died for years ago and now there's no chance of making "The Captain" look thin. Captain Lou retrains a laugh and tells Buck that was cold. Just cold.
Joel Gertner handles the intros for the first match of the night.Match: Christian Cage vs. Sean Royal Danny Davis starts the match and Sean Royal has some good back and forth with young Christian Cage who picks up the win after hitting Royal with a Tornado DDT."The Doctor of Style" Slick is standing by with Brickhouse Brown and Butch Reed to let us know that the number 6 is... "666 is the mark of the devil!" Brown breaks in with an evil grin that shocks both Slick and Reed. Brickhouse instantly snaps out of it and wearily looks at his partners who're staring at him before asking "What?"Match: Mike Sharpe vs. Ace Steel From the bell "Iron" Mike Sharpe beats on his younger opponent Ace Steel, whom he traps in a monstrous bearhug! Ace however manages to escape and hits a running corner dropkick on Sharpe to turn the tide of the match. Steel uses his superior speed and he gets in some good offense including a springboard bulldog on his opponent before "Iron Mike" puts an end to Ace's fun with a snap scoop powerslam! From there Canada's Greatest Athlete dominates Ace Steel completely and Mike Sharpe picks up the three count from Davis following the running forearm smash.Back from the break the Hughes Brothers pull up in front of a church in their Hughesmobile. Spike Hughes complains and wants to know what they're doing there. Devon tells him that he heard what the sister said, if they're going to be looking for those Tag-Team Titles; they've gotta go to church. Spike mimicks him in a whiny voice. "Go to church. Bullshit." They then get out of the car and enter to see this...
(Substitute Spike for Belushi, Devon for Akroyd and the "Reverend" Slick for Brown.)JAMES BROWN - Blues BrothersAfter the segment Albano mocks the Hughes Brothers and says if they want a shot at the Titles, they should be praying for some TV time first.Tag-Team Match: The Hughes Brothers vs. The Texas Hangmen (Black Bart & Jesse Barr) The Texas Hangmen give the Hughes Brothers a tough fight, double-teaming Devon and Spike as often as they can, getting on Davis' bad side. They nearly score the upset this way when Jesse Barr hits little Spike with a bulldog that sets him up for the Texas Trash Compactor diving legdrop from Black Bart. Spike hangs in there however, kicking out just before the three and after a bit of trouble makes the hot tag to Devon Hughes! Devon comes in all fired up, nailing both men with corkscrew back elbows smashes, which send Barr rolling from the ring. He then hammers away on Black Bart hitting him with a Spinebuster before tagging Spike Hughes back in who nails "The Outlaw" with a corner springboard cutter which gets him the pin. Testify!
Buck Zumhoff then says that he knows these kids like Wrestling; but do they love Rock'N Roll as much as "The Rock 'N Roller" himself? He then sends us to a music video that he's sure the Hughes Brothers will love!James Brown - Papa's Got A Brand New Bag (From "Legends of Rock 'n' Roll" DVD)Finally Buck Zumhoff says that time is almost up for this week's show and that it's now time for Slammin' Saturdays Main Event feature; the Wrestling Rewind. He says that this week's Rewind is from ECW's big event Hotter Than Hell which took place on September 28th of last year and featured then ECW Champion "Macho Man" Randy Savage defending his Title against the villainous "Soul Stealer" Papa Shango in a Steel Cage in that night's Main Event!9/28/94 Main Event: Randy Savage vs. Rick Rude Inside the ring Randy Savage locks up with Rick Rude as referee Teddy Long starts the match. The two men test one another's strength and it Savage looks tired as Rude wins out and getting behind the Champ catches him in a chickenwing hold. Keeping Randy in it for a bit Rude pushes him away after several seconds; taunting him. Angered, Savage connects with a hard right, but his second punch it caught by "The Ravishing One" who hits "Macho Man" with a head butt that sends him staggering. Grabbing Randy from behind Rude nails him with an atomic drop before rolling him up for a two count. Savage gets to all fours as Rude begins putting the boots to him. Changing pace Rick grabs Randy and hammers his back before lifting him for a vertical suplex. "Macho Man" however pushes out of his grasp and hops down to the floor behind Rick. Charging his opponent Randy connects with a shoulder tackle to the back of Rude's knee that takes him down to the ground. Grabbing Rick's boot Randy stomps the same knee before hitting it with a jumping knee drop. He then locks in a leglock attempting to get Rude to submit. "The Ravishing One" screams in pain but manages to turn over and kick Savage in the head knocking him off. Making his way to the ropes, Rude uses them to get to his feet as he stretches his leg. Randy Savage is back on his feet however and charges at Rude. Rick attempts a back body drop to dump Randy out of the ring; but the Champ takes hold of him and both men plummet to the floor below. While still on the floor the two men begin pounding one another; but it's Rude who is up first. He begins stomping "Macho Man;" but the Champ grabs his foot and throwing him off balance sends him crashing to the floor. Getting up to his own feet Randy begins hammering on Rude with hard rights and lefts as he attempts to get up. Taking Rick by the hair he slams "The Ravishing One's" head into the guardrail before climbin up onto the apron and comes down on him with a double axe handle; after which Randy quickly gets back into the ring just moments before Long counts to ten. Randy thinks Rude has been counted out; but Teddy argues he has to start counting again now that Savage is in the ring. Randy is pissed as Rude gets up to his feet and heads to the ring. Just then he is grabbed from behind by Debbie Combs! Combs clings to Rude's leg keeping him from re-entering. Finally having had enough Rick forces her off his leg and climbs back inside the ring at 7. As he moves toward Savage however he is again grabbed from behind. He turns to yell at Debbie Combs; but she grabs him and slips him some tongue! Both Rude and Savage are stunned by this; but looking to capitalize Randy grabs the distracted Rude and spins him about; letting him have it with a kick to the gut. Taking Rick Rude by the head Randy Savage lifts him up into the air and nails the Piledriver before going for the pin and it's all over.

10-10-95 - Brendan Byrne Arena East Rutherford, NJ"Mean" Gene Okerlund and "The Genius" Lanny Poffo welcome us to the Brendand Byrne Arena in East Rutherford, New Jersey. They recap last week's show including Hulk Hogan issuing a challenge to "The Long Island" Loud-Mouth Chris Jericho for the Inter-Promotional Title, Tully Blanchard joing Arn Anderson in his crusade against the Omega Horsemen; and "Macho Man" Randy Savage defeating that faction's leader "Mr. Wrestling" Steve Corino in the main event. They're about to hype tonight's huge show when they're interrupted by..."Fire" by Scooter hits and out from the back storms the Omega Horsemen led by Steve Corino. "Mr. Wrestling" tells us that's he's tired of certain people standing in the way of progress. He's tired of them impeding this business from moving along to the next level. It's next evolution. Of course the people he's referring to are that tub of lard Arn Anderson and his pals Tully and Taylor. He says that at Old School Rulz his men were cheated. Robbed throughout the night, starting with "The Redneck Rebel" stealing the Light Heavyweight Title from Jeff Hardy, followed shortly thereafter by Blanchard sticking that big nose of his where it didn't belong when he interfered in the Hardy Boyz' match with Anderson and his boy toy. And then of course the final insult of having the "Macho Man" distract him, causing him to drop the belt to yet another has-been in Rick Rude. Now last week? He was looking for some revenge on the old "Macho One." Andhe was even robbed of that by one half of the Horsemen. And not even the good half.
But that's alright. Last week Savage beat him. Had a little help, but what's done is done. Tonight however The Omega Horsemen strike back. Because tonight Jeff Hardy gets his rematch for the ECW Lightweight Title against Doug Gilbert, Matt Hardy and Jason Venom will take out ol' Tully and Arn; and in the main event we'll witness "Mr. Wrestling" Steve Corino make good on his promise when he defeats "Ravishing" Rick Rude leaves this here arena, in his home state of New Jersey; the ECW Champion! His music once again hits. But we're quickly told to cut the music. Because out from the back swaggers the ECW Champion "Ravishing" Rick Rude! He says that Corino gives a good little speech. A good little song and dance. But what he wants to know is if all the sweathogs here in East Ruthford see the same flaw in "Mr. Wrestling's" plan that "The Ravishing One" himself does? And that's in order to make good on his little plan, he's going to overcome some impossible odds, because to walk out of here the Eastern Heavyweight Champion; he's going to have to go through one "Ravishing" Rick Rude to do it. So good luck chump. You're gonna need it.Match: The New Orient Express vs. The Hughes Brothers There's some good back and forth in this match officiated by Danny Davis. Yoshihiro Tajiri starts things off with Spike Hughes who holds his own until "The Japanese Buzzsaw" traps him in the illegal Tarantula hold! From there Tajiri and Masato Tanaka use quick tags to keep the injured Spike in their corner, attempting to pin him several times; but Hughes shows alot of heart as he continually kicks out. Finally in desperation he manages to catch Masato Tanaka offguard and hits a corner sprindboard cutter! Before Tanaka can get back to his feet Spike runs across the ring and tags in Devon Hughes! Devon explodes into the ring, hitting Masato with several shoulder tackles. He keeps in control for a while hitting the corkscrew back elbow smash off of a whip and puts his opponent down on the mat with a big spinebuster. Oh Testify my brother! He makes the cover.... But there's no ref? Turning his head Devon sees that Davis is busy arguing with the diabolical Mr. Fuji. He looks pissed as he turns back and he looks shocked as he takes a face full of Asian Mist courtesy of Yoshihiro Tajiri! Hughes screams and rolls about on the floor as Masato Tanaka gets to his feet, hoists Devon Hughes into the air and hits the Dangan Bomb! Fuji has hopped down off the apron as Tanaka makes the cover and picks up the win.ECW Light Heavyweight Title Match: Doug Gilbert vs. Jeff Hardy Jeff Hardy gets his rematch against ECW Lightweight Champ "The Redneck Rebel" Doug Gilbert as referee S.D. Jones starts the match. Matt Hardy and Cousin Jamie are out at ringside running interference, but not for long as Jones gets sick of them and sends them both to the back. The two men argue with S.D. over this before continuing their back and forth battle which sees several high impact moves and nearfalls by both before Gilbert rakes Hardy's eyes and locks in the Clawhold for the submission victory.] After the match banjo music hits and Cousin Jamie returns to the ring for a hoedown! The Bayou Boys' celebration is cut short however when Matt Hardy along with Jason Venom rush down and slide into the ring where the two teams brawl for a bit until with the help of a recovered Jeff Hardy, the Omega Horsemen clear the ring after both Doug and Jamie are treated to a healthy helping of the Venom sheer-drop release powerbomb. After the break we see a number of wrestlers hanging out in the ECW locker room when the door opens and in comes Hulk Hogan! He gets a warm welcome from Rob Van Dam, The Hughes Brothers, Arn Anderson, Scott Taylor; and several others who wish him luck on his match next week.Match: Ronnie Garvin vs. Tommy Dreamer Danny Davis starts this match between Ronnie Garvin and Tommy Dreamer which soon devolves into nothing more than a brawl. The two men tear into one another trading very few wrestling holds. Dreamer looks like he's in trouble when he falls victim to the Garvin Stomp; but "The Innovator of Violence" battles his way back and ends up planting "The Rugged One" with a DDT for the 1!... 2!... Garvin's kicks out! The two men end up bloody before the end comes when Tommy Dreamer hits the Tommyhawk inverted crucifix cutter which just nets him the pinfall. After the match Dreamer helps Garvin to his feet and they shake hands which gets the fans cheering.Back from the break Lanny and Gene remind us that next week's show will be coming to us live from the Bob Carpenter Center in Newark, Delaware. They tell us that some tickets are still available for those in the area; but those folks at home should tune in right here on TNN's home station of TNN The Nashville Network!Tag-Team Match: Arn Anderson & Tully Blanchard vs. Matt Hardy & Jason Venom Arn Anderson starts things out with Jason Venom and the big man looks impressive against the former ECW Champion whom he keeps on his toes. He even gets a two count on "The Enforcer" after hitting him with a walking sidewalk slam. Arn however gives better than he gets and out wrestles his opponent at every turn. He has Venom locked in a side headlock when he makes the tag to Tully Blanchard. The two men work Jason over a bit together before whipping him into the ropes with Venom retaliating with a huge leaping double clothesline! Dropping both former Horsemen, Jason makes the tag to Matt Hardy! Matt immediately puts the boots to Tully while Davis orders Arn from the ring. Hardy keeps on top of Blanchard for a while before laying him out with a sitout crucifix powerbomb! He makes the cover! 1!.. 2! Tully kicks out! Getting to his feet Matt begins stomping Tully again, but with Arn and the fans cheering him on Blanchard battles back up to one knee as Matt punches his head in. Tully Blanchard rallies back and gains control of the match, taking the fight back to Matt Hardy whom he puts away for the three count from S.D. Jones with a slingshot suplex!
As Tully gets up to his feet however, he gets his head knocked clean off by a big boot courtesy of a furious Jason Venom! Arn Anderson rushes in and he begins brawling with Venom whom he ends up clotheslining from the ring. On the outside Jason yells at Arn while he grabs Matt by the foot and pulls him from the ring. Blanchard is soon back up looking equally pissed and the two teams continue arguing as ECW goes to...Match: Luna Vachon vs. Tiffany Tiffany gives Luna Vachon a fight, but the new ECW Women's Champion puts her down with the Lunasault off the top and Danny Davis makes the count. After the match Luna Vachon gets on the mic and tells us how at Old School Rulz that nancy boy Eric Bischoff stacked the deck against her. But that didn't matter. Because once again she overcame the odds and once again she became the ECW Women's Champion! She says that she's sure the last thing Bischoff wanted to see tonight was her in this ring with this Title. But that's too damned bad. And right now she wants him to come out here and do something else she knows he doesn't want to do. And that's re-instate her man; "The Maniac" Matt Borne!"White Train" by Tito & Tarantulab hits and out comes an annoyed looking Eric Bischoff. He joins her inside the ring and says that Luna knows she has him by the short hairs here tonight. But he's not about to make this fun for her. So without any further introduction; he'd like to welcome back to the company; "Maniac" Matt Borne! There's a pause and circus music begins playing. A weird series of lights hit before the lights go out and a large spotlight shines over the ring. Inside the ring is Matt Borne who's sporting a tuxedo coat with tails and wearing a top hat on his head. And he's not alone. He has an enormous looking clown with him?! And a midget?!! Matt Borne starts by bellowing "Ladies and gentlemen!" He then tells us of his time away from ECW. How he went back to the circus and entertained people in a different way. But while he was away something changed. Matt Borne was tired of clowning around. He was tired of other people making his decisions for him. Tired of having bosses. Tired of taking losses. And then he had an idea. He no longer wanted to be a costumed goof. No. He wanted to be his own man. His own boss. So he went to the boss of the circus. And he socked him right in the nose! He took over and he dominated. He took charge for the first time in his life. And now he's back in Eastern Championship. And rubes? He's planning to do the same thing here too. Which is why he brought along a couple friends. A couple friends he'd like us all to meet! The little guy's name is Dink. But who you should all really be watching. Especially you Eric... is Pogo the Clown! Bischoff doesn't know what's hit him as Pogo the Clown lunges across the ring, grabs him; and then proceeds to Bury Him in the Basement! Eric is layed out flat as Borne cackles with glee."Ich tu der weh" by Rammstein is playing as Eastern Championship returns from break. Inside the ring is The Baron Von Raschke with the new ECW Tag-Team Champions, his own son Aryan von Raschke and "Mangler's Monster" The Blitzkrieg! The Baron tells us that two weeks ago at Old School Rulz he and his men did exactly what they set out to do. They brought more gold, more prestige to the Republic of Germany! Now one might say William Regal's defeat of The Blitzkrieg was a minor setback. But sometimes one must make a sacrifice to win the war! And he guarantees this one is far from over. Because while that limey might hold the Title now, "Mangler's Monster" will soon get his rematch. And when he does he will mash Lord William's bones into so much paste.Match: The Blitzkrieg vs. Douglas Williams The Baron and his men make an example out of "The U.K. Kidd" Douglas Williams. The second S.D. Jones starts the match The Blitzkrieg charges in and beats him about the ring before laying him out with The Chokeslam from Berlin! They aren't finished with both the Baron and Aryan climbing into the ring where all three members of The Ubermensch put the boots to Regal's fellow countryman! Jones attempts to stop them and awards the match to Douglas. The ref becomes a recipient of the Sieg Heil! Superkick for his trouble. Meanwhile The Baron has pulled Williams up to his feet and has locked in the Brain Claw! "The U.K. Kidd" struggles in the hold in pain, but soon goes limp when...William Regal storms the ring! And he has a pair of brass knuckles! He immediately drops the Baron with a hard right and he goes down with a scream. He follows this up by taking down Aryan von Raschke who's been broken open! Finally he turns his attention to "Mangler's Monster" and slams him right in the face! But The Blitzkrieg is unphased. Undaunted the Eastern States Champion pulls back for another hit, but this time "The Monster" grabs catches his hand and batters Regal down with clubbing blows before delivering The Chokeslam from Berlin! Regal is out cold as ECW heads towards it's final...Okerlund and Poffo welcome us back from the last commercial break of the evening before hyping tonight's big main event which will see a rematch from Old School Rulz where the recently returned "Ravishing" Rick Rude defeated Omega Horsemen leader Steve Corino for the ECW Title. The self-titled "Mr. Wrestling" demanded to get his rematch tonight, not wanting to leave his home state of New Jersey without the Title. "Fire" by Scooter hits as Steve Corino appears on the ramp in his Flair-style robe.
Gertner: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and is for the Eastern Heavyweight Championship! Introducing first the challenger making his way from Sea Isle City, New Jersey weighing in at 222 lbs.; he calls himself "Mr. Wrestling;" Steve Corino!
The fans boo Corino as he heads down to the ring where Danny Davis is waiting. He yells at the fans to shut up as Rick Rude's strip theme hits. He has a beautiful woman at his side and the ECW Championship slung over his shoulder.
Gertner: And now introducing at this time from Robbinsdale, Minnesota weighing 251 lbs.; he is the Eastern Heavyweight Champion; "Ravishing" Rick Rude!ECW Title Match: Rick Rude vs. Steve Corino Before the match begins Rude gives the ladies a show when he has the woman who came with him to the ring remove his robe and sweeping her off her feet plants one on her. The woman is left dazed and "The Ravishing One" seems pleased with himself. Steve Corino however finds the whole procedure annoying and attacks the Champ from behind! To his credit Corino keeps on top of Rude, taking the fight to the Champ. It isn't long however before Rick catches Steve with a stiff uppercut and fights his way back up. The two men go at it and Corino does a fair job of silencing his critics as he's all business tonight. Neither man seems to have the edge with Corino hitting a sitout hiptoss, a lariat; and a superkick and Rude retalitiating with the delayed backbreaker, a figur four leglock; and a DDT. Both men fail in putting the other away however and Steve Corino gets the drop on Rude hammering him into the ropes where he runs back and charges in with a clothesline! He gears up for another, but this time just before he connects; the ECW Champ back drops him up and out of the ring! Corino hits the ground hard and Rude grabbing the top rope mocks him from inside the ring. Before launching himself to the outside with a slingshot suicide dive! Steve takes the brunt of the fall but both men are down as Davis begins the count. "Ravishing" is back up first and pulling Corino up to his feet he beats him on the outside, picking him up onto his shoulder and tossing the former Champ into the steel guardrail. But when Davis gets to 8, Rick drags Steve over to the ring and rolls him back in before climbing back up onto the apron where he gives the ladies a little dance shaking his hips. This costs him as he's struck from behind by "Mr. Wrestling" who is back up and grabbing the Champ from behind over the ropes begins clubbing him with several forearm strikes. Then turning "Ravishing" about; he brings him crashing back into the ring with a snap suplex! He makes another cover. 1!... 2!. Rude kicks out! Corino is immediately back up and begins stomping Rude out, but Rick trips his opponent up with a toe hold before scrambling to his feet and hammers Steve Corino back into the corner where he lets him have it before pulling him up to his feet and up over his shoulder for a front powerslam! Steve bounces back up to his feet a bit dazed in the middle of the ring, but has no time to recover as Rick Rude hits him with the Rude Awakening delayed hangman's neckbreaker! He hooks the leg and it's over. Rick Rude remains the ECW Champion!

10/13/95 - New Jersey"Here I Am Rocking Like a Hurricane" by The Scorpions plays as "Rock 'N Roll" Buck Zumhoff appears on the set of a brightly colored talk show set with a Rock 'N Roll/Wrestling theme. He is limping a little but boogies on out and high fives several of the cheering kids and their parents before getting on the stage before them. He then introduces himself as AWA Legend and former ECW Lightweight Champion; and wrestling's one and only true "Rock 'N Roller" Buck Zumhoff!'
He then welcomes everyone to another episode of ECW Slammin' Saturdays Season 3! He then tells us that today's show will feature a Main Event ordered by ECW President Eric Bischoff himself as Slick's team of Butch Reed and Brickhouse Brown face off against Circus of Doom members Pogo the Clown and "The Ringmaster" Matt Borne! He informs us that Bischoff has ordered this match to get back at the CoD for their actions earlier this week. He then shows us a clip from 10/10/95 show. "The Ringmaster" Matt Borne is talking inside the ring with ECW President Eric Bischoff. Borne says that this is why he brought along a couple friends. A couple friends he'd like us all to meet! The little guy's name is Dink. But who you should all really be watching. Especially you Eric... is Pogo the Clown! Bischoff doesn't know what's hit him as Pogo the Clown lunges across the ring, grabs him; and the proceeds to Bury Him in the Basement! Eric is layed out flat as Borne cackles with glee.He then heads over to the broadcast booth where he introduces his co-host "Captain" Lou Albano! Lou says that Eric never could take a joke, but is very, very surprised Bischoff isn't here today to oversee his "punishment" in person. But he knows ol' Eric is at least here in spirit. So therefore they should replay that "horrible" clip again.
They replay part of the video, the part where Bischoff doesn't know what's hit him as Pogo the Clown lunges across the ring, grabs him; and the proceeds to Bury Him in the Basement! Eric is layed out flat as Borne cackles with glee. Joel Gertner handles the intros for the first match of the night while the chuckling Zumhoff and Albano wipe a few tears from their eyes.Match: Steve Blackman vs. Flash Flanagan Flash Flanagan holds his own early on hitting an impressive slingshot somersault splash on Steve Blackman, but "The Silent Assassin" battles back and controls most of the match delivering several kicks and chops before putting Flanagan away with a bridged Fisherman's suplex while Danny Davis makes the count. Blackman's manager Lou Albano puts him over heavily throughout the match. Zumhoff however is less than impressed."The Leprchaun" Erin O'Grady informs us that in addition to Horseshoes and Four-Leaf Clovers; the number 7 is also lucky.Match: Blue Demon Jr. vs. Mike Quackenbush Mike Quackenbush has a fast-paced, often high flying back and forth battle with the one time NWA Champion who takes him out by submission with the El Pulp sharpshooter. Slick is all-fired up in his promo damning The Man (in this case Eric Bischoff) for always giving men of color their dirty work. The Reverend says there's a long history of it and goes off on a tirade throughout racial history before making it clear to the world that whether Bischoff thinks so or not; his men aren't slaves to his will. That there're no lackeys here. However, the ECW President did offer them a shot at the Tag-Team Titles if he took Reed and Brown here to the Circus today. And Championship gold means money. And while "The Doctor of Style" may hate the color white, he certainly loves the color green. He flashes a wad of cash at the camera and smiling shows off his gold tooth.Tag-Team Match: Butch Reed & Brickhouse Brown vs. The Circus of Doom Unlike the past couple of weeks, "The Man of the Hour" Brickhouse Brown seems to be on top of his game as he starts things off with "The Ringmaster" Matt Borne. The two men brawl about the ring, but Brown soon is in control and whips Borne across the ring, leap-frogging him once before connecting with a picture perfect dropkick! Matt stumbles back into the ropes where Brickhouse hits him with a snapsuplex for a two count. A swinging neckbreaker gets him another two; but when he attempts to whip the former Maniac; Borne reverses it and catches Brown with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker! 1!... 2!...
Brown kicks free! Borne keeps on top of Brickhouse as he gets to one knee and clobbers him. He dominates the match a bit before locking in the Stump Puller single leg inverted Boston Crab! Brown is fighting it, but he's too far from the ropes! Luckily for Brickhouse, Slick is there to be a pain in Danny Davis' ass while Butch Reed runs in and beheads Borne with a clothesline behind the ref's back! Together Reed and Brown stomp Borne out for a bit before Brickhouse tags Butch Reed in legally. Charging into the ring Reed beats on Borne a bit and drops him with a military press slam that gets his a near fall. He then looks to take the dazed Matt down with a second clothesline; but Borne ducks it and hits a suplex on big Butch! This stuns Slick and Brickhouse and both men are down for a bit before "The Ringmaster" claws his way to his feet and tags in the monstrous Pogo the Clown!
Butch Reed is back up, but not full recovered as Pogo comes in swinging! He beats Butch back and whips "Hacksaw" across the ring before nailing him with a shoulder tackle. Reed however doesn't go down and is instead driven back into the ropes where he beats on Pogo's back for a bit. The Clown however no-sells the attack and begins laughing maniacally as Butch keeps hammering him in the face! Something suddenly seems to snap inside Pogo however and the Clown manhandles Reed for a bit in a vicious assault! Butch is reeling back when he manages to connect with an uppercut on Pogo and climbing up onto the second turnbuckle, sends the big man stumbling back with double axe-handle. Looking to make the tag however, Butch Reed is in for a surprise when Brickhouse Brown ends up not being in his corner?! Instead he's standing out on the floor staring at Matt Borne's top hat??
Butch however doesn't have the time to be pissed as he is spun around and gets Buried in the Basement by Pogo the Clown who picks up the big win. Zumhoff is guessing Bischoff and Slicks' little plan may've just backfired on them. And Albano tells him he's a regular detective figuring that one out.
The Circus of Doom aren't done however as "Mad Dog" Luna Vachon grabs hold of the spaced out Brickhouse Brown and runs him into the ring! Matt Borne is barking orders at Pogo the Clown who's laughing like a hyena as Brickhouse finally seems to be aware of his surroundings! He tries to back off while Slick decides to run into the back. (looking for help Albano guesses) Meanwhile inside the ring Pogo the Clown grabs hold of Brickhouse Brown and proceeds to Bury Him in the Basement as well!
Buck Zumhoff then says that he knows these kids like Wrestling; but do they love Rock'N Roll as much as "The Rock 'N Roller" himself? Well this one isn't rock 'n roll; but it is the entrance music of Slick's team of Brickhouse Brown and Butch Reed!NWA - Straight Outta Compton HQ (Radio Edit)Finally Buck Zumhoff says that time is almost up for this week's show and that it's now time for Slammin' Saturdays Main Event feature; the Wrestling Rewind. He says that this week's Rewind is from October 5th of last year when Jerry "The King" Lawler went looking for a little revenge against Papa Shango's former lackey Brickhouse Brown; who claimed to have no knowledge of his actions with Shango after; claiming he was brainwashed after "The Soul Stealer" himself was run out of Eastern Championship by the "Macho Man" Randy Savage.10/05/94 Main Event: Jerry Lawler vs. Brickhouse Brown Following the lock up Jerry Lawler begins hammering Brickhouse Brown back into the ropes. Brown however battles back and takes Lawler down to the mat with a hard right. Jerry is quick to get up and even quicker to hit the canvas again as Brickhouse nails him with a dropkick out of nowhere. Instead of keeping on top of Lawler Brickhouse taunts him with a strut trying to get the crowd to rally behind him. Lawler gets to his feet and comes after Brickhouse who grapples with him until Lawler whips him into the ropes. On the rebound Brown attempts a shoulderblock; but Jerry leapfrogs him to dodge. When Brown comes back Jerry catches him with a scoop slam and goes for the pin getting a two count. Brown kicks out hard however but "The King" stays on him first with the boots and then with several chops. Blocking his latest salvo; Brown fires back and begins hammering on Jerry before whipping him across the ring. As Lawler returns Brown leaps at him with a flying body press! Jerry sees this and ducks for cover sending Brown over his head to crash and burn on the other side of the ring. Referee Teddy Long begins the ten count when Brickhouse rolls from the ring to catch his breath. Lawler mocks him and gestures for his opponent to reenter the ring. Still a bit dazed Brown does so at 5 with Jerry Lawler keeping on top of him. "The King" immediately begins hammering on his prey and sending Brickhouse on a short trip into the ropes takes him down with a clothesline. Jerry adjusts his elbow pad as he stalks his the downed Brown. Lifting Brickhouse Brown to his feet Jerry kicks him in the gut before catching him in a headlock and hammering him in the face. Brown staggers back into the corner and manages to kick Lawler as he approaches. Jerry keeps coming however and grabbing Brown by the head he runs him across the ring looking to smash him head first into the turnbuckle! Brown catches the ropes to block however and nails Lawler with an elbow to the jaw before taking "The King's" head and smashing him into the corner. This gives Brown some time to recuperate. He begins nailing Lawler with hard rights and lefts before Irish whipping him into the ropes and connecting with an elbow smash that drops Jerry to the mat. Lawler pleads with Brown as he gets back to his feet but Brickhouse just continues to pound on him. Grabbing Brickhouse, Lawler rakes his face receiving a warning from the ref. This gives Jerry the edge he needs and he beats down Brown before whipping him into the ropes and sends Brickhouse flying with a back body drop. He attempts to keep on him; but Brown surprises him by getting right back to his feet and taking the fight to Lawler. The two men begin trading punches in the middle of the ring and grabbing "The King" Brown nails him with a facebuster over his knee! Jerry goes down hard and Brickhouse makes the cover. 1! 2!.... Jerry kicks out! Jerry struggles to one knee while Brickhouse continues to maul him. Brown is swinging wildly and Teddy Long moves to separate them. Seeing an opportunity Jerry nails him with a forearm to the nuts! Long doesn't see the low blow as Jerry Lawler stumbles to his feet and regaining his balance scoops Brickhouse Brown up; nailing him with the Piledriver! A three count later and it's over.
Lights Fade.

10-17-95 - Bob Carpenter Center Newark, DE"Mean" Gene Okerlund and "The Genius" Lanny Poffo welcome us to the Bob Carpenter Center in the Newark, Delaware; The Diamond State. They then briefly recap last week's show which in the main event saw ECW Champion "Ravishing" Rick Rude retain his Title in a rematch against the man he beat for the belt; "Mr. Wrestling" Steve Corino. We also witnessed the return of "Maniac" Matt Borne to the ECW roster, the team of Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard defeat two of the Omega Horsemen and Hulk Hogan welcomed by the ECW locker room! They then discuss this week's card which in the main event will see the Inter-Promotional Champion Chris Jericho challenged by five-time WWF Champion Hulk Hogan! Also on tonight's agenda the ECW Champion Rick Rude will be in action, we'll see the in-ring debut of... They never finish the next statement as "Fire" by Scooter hits and Steve Corino pops out of the back in his Flairesque robe. He goads the booing crowd as he leads The Hardy Boyz down to the ring before joining Lanny and Gene on commentary. Okerlund isn't happy about that one bit and Corino tells him he can leave if he wants to. Poffo then reminds us that last week was another bad one for the Omega Horsemen including the Hardy Boyz. "Mr. Wrestling" tells Lanny to shut up or he'll kick him in the teeth. He explains to us that last week was only a minor setback. That while it was a dream of his to walk out of his home state of New Jersey with the ECW Championship, not all dreams come true. Which is something those inbred shit-kickers The Bayou Boys will learn tonight. Steve says he wasn't the only person robbed of their rightful victory last week. That Doug Gilbert and Cousin Jamie cheated Jeff out of regaining the Light Heavyweight Title as well. And tonight they're gonna learn just what "Macho Man" Randy Savage, "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson and so many others did. You don't mess with the Omega Horsemen. Something those two has-been Horsemen and a baby should figure out if they know what's good for them.
While Steve goes on and on Joel Gertner makes with the intros for the first match of the night.Tag-Team Match: The Hardy Boyz w/ Corino vs. The Bayou Boys Doug Gilbert and Jeff Hardy start things off as S.D. Jones starts the match. These two men have met twice in recent weeks and seem out to kill one another as they battle back and forth with several nearfalls. Eventually "The Redneck Rebel" gets Jeff in the corner and standing on the middle rope he rains down punches on him as the fans count to 10. He hops down and tags in Cousin Jamie who dances a jig with Gilbert before Doug Irish whips him straight into Hardy who is hung up in the corner! After being hit by the Dosey Doe, Jeff staggers forward and Cousin Jamie catches him with a snap suplex that he bridges! 1!... 2!.. Jeff kicks out! Though Hardy gets in a bit of offense, Cousin Jamie mostly dominates him before Jeff gets the hot tag to his brother Matt Hardy! Matt comes in swinging and he and Cousin Jamie fight back and forth until Matt hits a swinging neckbreaker and makes the cover! 1!... 2! Doug Gilbert runs in and dives onto Matt with a double axe handle to make the save! An all-out brawl erupts and during the commotion Steve Corino leaves the broadcast table, slides into the ring and with Jeff lays Cousin Jamie out with a double spike piledriver mocking Arn and Tully! The ref is too busy ordering Doug Gilbert out of the ring to see it and Corino with a short bow to he fans rolls out of the ring. Matt Hardy meanwhile makes the cover and Jones makes the count. The Hardy Boyz have won it!
But Steve Corino isn't done and tosses two steel chairs into the ring while The Hardy Boyz attack the ECW Lightweight Champ, dragging Gilbert into the ring. Corino has the Hardy's lift Gilbert up to his knees and starts screaming at him before slapping him in the face! He then gives an order and Matt Hardy sets "The Redneck Rebel" up for a DDT while Jeff does the same with the nearly unconscious Cousin Jamie. The duo then hit a double DDT on the Bayou Boys straight onto the steel chairs! They're out cold, but Corino still isn't done and begins putting the boots to the duo. The Hardy Boyz join in when suddenly the crowd begins to cheer as out from the back rushes Arn Anderson, Tully Blanchard; and Scott Taylor! The trio immediately attacked by the Omega Horsemen and the six men begin brawling about the ring when on the ramp appears Jason Venom!Entering the ring he immediately helps Steve Corino who is duking it out with Arn Anderson and grabbing the distracted "Enforcer" lays him out with the Venom sheer-drop release powerbomb! Scott Taylor who has stomped Matt Hardy down into the corner sees this and charging across the ring to help Arn eats a big boot! Though Tully is more than holding his own against Jeff Hardy, he soon has Steve Corino and Jason Venom to deal with as well and "Mr. Wrestling" drops him with a cheap shot! All three men begin putting the boots to Tully and Matt is soon up joining in on the fun. They leave Blanchard bloody in the ring as ECW takes it's first...Match: Butch Reed vs. Steve Blackman Both Slick and Captain Lou Albano are at ringside and things come to blows when "The Doctor of Style" gets involved one too many time on behalf of "Hacksaw" Butch Reed. While Albano is busy keeping Slick in check, Steve Blackman gives Butch Reed one hell of a fight, taking the big man off his feet with a bridged Fisherman's suplex! He comes up short however and when Slick pops up onto the apron momentarily distracting Blackman, Butch Reed who's given as good as he got throughout the match drives "The Silent Assassin" into the ropes with a short-arm clothesline before hoisting him into the air for a Gorilla Press Slam that gets him the three count. We're then taken to ECW Correspondernt Terri Runnels who is in front of the ECW banner with former Women's Champion Ivory whom she asks about her loss to "Mad Dog" Luna Vachon at Old School Rulz. Ivory tells Terri that she's an idiot for even asking such a question. She lost the Championship and she wasn't even pinnsed thanks to that prissy bitch Beulah McGillicutty. She says that she only has two things she wants. The Women's Title back where it belongs and Beulah's pretty little head on a stick. And before this month is out she'll have at least one of those things.Back at ringside weird lights are flickering as circus music plays. Inside the ring is the ECW Women's Champ "Mad Dog" Luna Vachon, "Maniac" Matt Borne, Pogo the Clown; and the midget Dink. Matt Borne in his top hat and suit jacket with tails now refers to himself as "The Rungmaster" Matt Borne and tells us that before long everyone in this company will become victims his Circus of Doom. He says that his only goal coming back to this pigeon hole of a company was to tear it down from the ground up. And tonight the show begins. Because tonight is the in-ring debut of his star attaction... Pogo the Clown! He says that Pogo has travelled the world dismantling all comers in whatever town their circus stopped over. And therefore not tonight or any other are we going to be subjected to watching him dismantle some nobody like Bobby Starr. Tonight Pogo the Clown will prove his mettle against a real challenger!
The Kaentai Theme hits and out comes Mr. Fuji who stands on the ramp with Masato Tanaka. Fuji points the the COD and has a nice belly laugh before heading down to the ring.Match: Pogo the Clown w/ COD vs. Masato Tanaka Masato Tanaka doesn't find his opponent nearly as amusing as his manager and when referee Danny Davis starts the match he takes the fight right to Pogo the Clown. Pogo however no-sells most of Tanaka's offense and laughs maniacally as Masato tries to take him down off his feet. Finally in a fit of frustation Masato Tanaka tries to lift the big man up for a suplex, but Pogo the Clown goes berserk with clubbing strikes across Tanaka's back and with Matt Borne barking orders the entire time mostly dominates Masato Tanaka who does his best to mount a comeback. In the end however he gets Buried in the Basement.
After the match Fuji argues with Borne a bit, but when it looks like he's about to unleash Pogo on him, "The Diabolical One" wisely hightails it out of there, leaving the Circus of Doom victorious in the ring.Back from the break the ECW Champion "Ravishing" Rick Rude is in the ring and his strip theme is playing. He orders for them to cut the music. He says it's a small wonder there's never been a Miss USA from this state. He knows that Delaware fancies themselves The Diamond State; but all he's seen is a whole lotta rough. But he's a big believer in never disappointing the ladies, so which one of you ladies wanna help him take off his robe? You? You? You over there.
Security helps the young lady "The Ravishing One" selected up to the ring. She seems embarrassed as Rude's strip theme once again hits and she helps him out of his robe as he struts his stuff. He then sweeps her off her feet and plants one on her! She seems a bit dazed. Rick Rude gets back on the mic and says that he's seen that look before. Last week in fact, when he treated that delicate flower from The Garden State to a Rude Awakening of his own. Now he can't blame Corino for falling hard for him. After all? Who wouldn't. But it's time to move on. Being the finest physical specimen in the sport today he's used to walking around with a target on him. And now holding the most prestigious Title in the sport today? Well that just makes the target even bigger. But that's okay with him, because---"Another One Bites the Dust" by Queen hits and out from the back comes Deep South?! Junkyard Dog rattles the chain around his neck while "Captain Redneck" Dick Murdoch waves his cowboy hat. The two me waste no time coming down and getting into the ring with the ECW Champ. Junkyard Dog is on the mic. He says that he doesn't understand why Rude is eyeballing him like he doesn't know why he's out there. Cause "Ravishing" knows good well why he's out here. See, ol' JYD he's picked up a scent. A trail. And thay path it's telling The Junkyard Dog should by rights be wearing the Eastern Heavyweight Championship! See, back before Old School Rulz. Just one week before in fact JYD put down then ECW Champ Steve Corino with the Thump! And therefore should've had his shot. But Rick Rude then beat "Mr. Wrestling." Became the Champ. But that don't matter none. Cause earlier this year? Just one day before King of the Mountain? Junkyard Dog was gnawin' on another bone. And that bone goes by the name of ECW Champion Rick Rude. So the way JYD sees it? He already pinned himself not one, but two ECW Champions this year. And he wants his shot.
Rick Rude smiles and waits a minute before giving an answer. He says that he has no problem kicking Junkyard Dog's overweight ass around this ring again. But it's not going to happen tonight, cause he's already booked for a match. And if they're going to do it, it's going to be one on one. Which means this time it isn't going to be a Chain Match. And this time good ol' "Captain Redneck" better keep his nose out of it too. JYD tells Rude he's on before leaving the ring, but Murdoch lingers behind a bit eyeballing Rude before joining him.Main Event: Rick Rude vs. Erin O'Grady After tossing his gold coins to the crowd, "The Leprechaun" Erin O'Grady gives the ECW Champ a good fight, getting a two count after hitting a corner springboard bulldog. Rick Rude however has the match well in hand and after dominating O'Grady for a bit puts him down for the count from S.D. Jones with the Rude Awakening delayed hangman's neckbreaker.Tag-Team Match: Sex & Violence vs. Destruction Inc. Joe E. Legend starts things off the with "The Man-Beast" Rhino in this match officiated by Danny Davis. Throughout the match both Legend and Sexton Hardcastle get in a fair amount of offense, but the duo are mostly dominated by the former Tag-Team Champions Mongo Vyle and Rhino who just can't seem to put Sex & Violence away. "The Man-Beast" is in the ring with Sexton whom he nails with the lifting side slam and makes the cover! 1!... 2!... Hardcastle kicks out! Takako Inoue by this time is pissed and has been screaming at Destruction Inc. throughout the match. Rhino has had enough and begins yelling back when she holds off and slaps him! Rhino's eyes bug out and he looks like he's going to go berserk when Sexton Hardcastle grabs him from behind and rolls him up! 1!... 2!... 3!
Sex and Violence are smart enough to celebrate their big win on the outside, hugging one another while inside the ring Rhino gets in Takako's face again. He looks like he's on the verge of hitting her when Mongo Vyle steps in the way and the two men argue for a bit before the camera cuts to backstage. In the back we see "Hacksaw" Butch Reed who's looking for his partner Brickhouse Brown. He asks several people including referee Danny Davis, Rob Van Dam; and Tiffany. He's eventually directed to the locker room where we see Brickhouse Brown standing in the corner facing it. As Reed approchaes him we hear Brown muttering to himself and Butch asks him what the hell he's doing? After a couple attempts he grabs Brickhouse by the shoulder and Brown turns around. He asks Butch what's up and seems perfectly normal. "Hacksaw" just looks confused.Back from the break The Baron Von Raschke whose head is bandaged is standing by with the ECW Tag-Team Champions The Ubermensch in front of the ECW banner where ECW Correspondent Terri Runnels is talking to them about what happened last week. Von Raschke tells us the tale of woe in which that limey fool Sir William Regal made his very last mistake in saving his kinsman Douglas Williams. He says that last week he received The Chokeslam from Berlin for his troubles. But that pain will pale in comparison to the torment both Regal and Williams will endure next week when they face the Tag-Team Champions, his son Aryan Von Raschke and the pride of the Republic of Germany; "Mangler's Monster" The Blitzkrieg in this very ring. For next week both men will answer for their transgressions in blood as those two Brits are ground into mince pie. After after that, whatever's left of the Eastern States Champion William Regal, whatever bloody husk remains will be thrown back into the ring where The Blitzkrieg will further demolish it, rendering him limb from limb before reclaiming what's his by birthright. The Eastern States Championship!Match: Beulah McGillicutty vs. Velvet McIntyre Velvet McIntyre gives former Women's Champ Beulah McGillicutty a tough fight here, but in the end McGillicutty connects with the Beulahsault off the top before picking up the pinfall from S.D. Jones.Back from the break we see a pre-recorded promo where Hulk Hogan talks about the Inter-Promotional Champion Chris Jericho. He tells him how he was prepared to give up this business. He was going to hang up his tights, say goodbye to all his Hulkamaniacs and walk away forever brother. But then at Old School Rulz there he was minded his own business. Spending time with his family. And there in there ring was Chris Jericho. Going insane. Insane with jealousy brother. A jealousy that was eating him away like a cancer. Cause brother, you let Sting get under your skin. You let him worm his way into your soul and when you saw the Hulkster in that arena, you knew. You knew despite all your parading around, claiming to be the man, claiming to be the top dog in this industry man. You knew deep down where that cancer was eating you that you weren't. Oh no. Because you never beat Sting brother. You never tangled with The Nature Boy. You never got the three count on "Macho Man" Randy Savage. And you never, ever messed with Hulk Hogan. And it was eating at you brother. Cause you knew to be the best you had to beat the best. So you made me your target. I tried to step away from this. I tried to let you be a bigger man. Apologize. But you just spat in the face. And brother when you spit in the face of Hulk Hogan, you're spitting in the face of Hulkamania. So now Chris Jericho you've got my attention. You're in the danger zone brother and now there's only one question you should be asking yourself; and that's whatcha gonna do, when Hulkamania runs wild on you?!
Back and ringside Okerlund and Poffo welcome us back from the last commercial break of the evening. "Mean" Gene says he guesses that Hulk Hogan pretty much summed up everything there is to say about tonight's monstrous main event. "The Genius" can't believe that Okerlund understood anything that Hogan just said. Ramble much? They then briefly discuss Chris Jericho's run with the Inter-Promotional Champion and his many wins over the course of the year, which led to the mysterious attacker who Chris Jericho believed to be Sting. "Who else could it've been?" Lanny questions rhetorically. This brings them to Old School Rulz where Sting didn't show up to the match Jericho challenged him to and how Chris lost his cool afterward trashing the ring and finally slapping the retired Hulk Hogan who was there at ringside with his family. They then discuss Hogan's attempts to make peace with Jericho who just continued to harrass and insult The Hulkster; which leads to this match tonight where Hogan is set to battle Chris Jericho for the Inter-Promotional Championship!
Hulk Hogan's music hits!
Best Hulk Hogan Tribute Real American
And Hulk Hogan appears on the ramp!
Gertner: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and is for the Inter-Promotional Championship! Introducing first the challenger from Venice Beach, California weighing in at 302 lbs.; 5-Time WWF Champion Hulk Hogan!
The Delaware fans go crazy as Hulk heads down to the ring high fiving the fans on the way. Once inside he poses for the crowd and shakes hands with referee Danny Davis. He then poses some more before the lights dim and "You're the Best Around" by Joe Esposito plays.
Gertner: And now introducing weighing in at 226 lbs. from Manhasser, New York, he is the world's one and only Inter-Promotional Champion; "The Long Island Loud-Mouth" Chris Jericho!
And out from the back explodes the Inter-Promotional Champion Chris Jericho! He has the Title hanging from his hand as he storms down to the ring where he poses for the mixedfans. He then stops in front of Hogan and points to the Title telling him it's his! Davis then takes it and starts the match.Inter-Promotional Title Match: Chris Jericho vs. Hulk Hogan Keeping his distance, at first Chris Jericho chooses to mock Hogan by flexing his muscles in a very exaggerated manner for his opponent. Going along with it Hulk Hogan answers with a few poses of his own. Jericho then does some more. And Hogan responds by tearing off his shirt in typical Hogan style! Jericho then holds out his arm and flexes it before kissing his own bicep and then flips "The Hulkster" the bird! That does it and Hogan nearly takes Jericho's head off with the very first punch. He hammers Chris back into the ropes and whips him across the ring, on the rebound looking for the big boot! But Chris drops and slides under Hogan and popping up grabs Hulk by the head and hits the Stone Cold Stunner! He jumps up to his feet and gives the downed Hogan the double bird! He then runs the ropes and looks to connect with running leg drop; but Hogan rolls out of the way and Chris hits the mat ass first! He bounces to his feet and staggers forward only to have Hulk Hogan pull him off the feet and send him down to the mat with a body slam! He then shakes his head and signals for the Atomic Leg Drop! He runs the ropes and it connects! He makes the cover! 1!... 2!... Jericho kicks out! Hogan keeps on top of Jericho, pulling him up to one knee as he fires away with punch after punch when Chris slaps him away and leaping up hits a picture perfect dropkick! Hulk reels back as Chris retreats to the other side of the ring and the two men eyeball one another. Jericho charges in! But so does Hulk with a short-armed clothesline! He grabs Chris before he can fall however and tosses him out of the ring! The fans cheer Hogan on as he begins going to each side of the ring cupping his ear as the fans cheer louder and louder.
He doesn't see Jericho as he slides back into the ring behind him and amushes him! Chris beats Hogan back into the corner where he hits him with several Flair-style chops before choking him out a little as he climbs up onto the second rope! This gets stopped by Davis and hopping down "The Long Island Loud-Mouth" whips "The Hulkster" across the ring! He charges in again and gets dropped with a clothesline from Hogan! Chris staggers back to his feet only to get taken down by another! Hulk charges up as the fans cheer him on and he drives the still recovering Jericho back into the ropes with punch after punch before whipping him across the ring! On the rebound he sends him flying with a huge back body drop! Then pulling Chris up to his feet he hits him with anther body slam before running the ropes and hitting a second Atomic Leg Drop! Right onto the canvas! Jerich has rolled out of the way! And back up on his feet he stops a mudhole in Hogan! Hulk staggers to his feet in retreat, but the Inter-Promotional Champ stays on top of him and hammers him back into the ropes where Hulk counters with an Irish whip! This time on the rebound "The Hulkster" uses Jericho's own momentum to throw him toward the ropes and he goes over the ropes while Hulk riles up the crowd! But Chris doesn't hit the ground, because he's caught onto the tope rope and skins the cat!
Hogan has no idea what's hit him as Chris Jericho rushes across the ring and hits a crossbody press! He only gets a one count before Hogan powers out hard tossing "The Loud-Mouth!" Chris lands on his feet though and as Hulk Hogan gets up to one knee he pounces on him! He begins punching and clubbing Hogan, but "The Hulkster" fights his way back up to his feet and forces Chris into the corner where he works him over a bit. Davis yells at Hogan as he climbs up onto the second rope and begins raining down punches on Jericho's head as the fans chant the count! 1! 2! 3! 4! 5! 6! 7! 8! Danny gets Hogan down and the two men argue a bit with Hulk turning back to Jericho and walks into a lowblow! Hogan's own body blocks the ref from seeing it as Hulk hits the floor! Chris grandstands a bit as Hulk staggers up only to be repeatedly knocked back down to the canvas by the Inter-Promotional Champ! He then helps Hogan up to his feet and hits a suplex on the 5-time WWF Champ! Hulk is down and Chris mocks Hogan by flexing before going in for the cover. 1!... 2!... Hogan kicks out!
Chris Jericho doesn't allow Huk Hogan to catch a breather and keeping on him he kicks and punches "The Hulkster" as he crawls away trying to catch a breather. He makes it to the ropes only to have "The Loud-Mouth" choke him out against them! This get Davis on his case and frustrated Jericho lets go, runs back and charging Hogan who is still laying on the ropes hit him with a bronco buster! Hogan collapses onto the mat and Jericho stands over him screaming insults before he steps on his opponent's throat once again choking him out! Davis pulls him off and starts yelling at Chris who gives him a hard time. While Chris is busy taunting the booing crowd with the Hogan ear cup; the real "Hulkster" gets back up to his feet using the ropes. Seeing him, Chris heads over and punches Hulk in the head, but Hogan begins firing back on all cylinders! He lays into Chris with hard rights and lefts and Jericho is reeling! Hogan runs the ropes, but on his way back he takes a kick to the gut and Chris lays him out with a DDT! He makes the cover! 1!... 2!... Hogan kicks out!
Chris can't believe it and seems to walk the ring in shock as Hogan crawls away and gets back to his feet. Jericho isn't having it and runs back in blasting on his opponent before locking him in an Octopus Stretch! He is screaming for Hogan to tap out as "The Hulkster" begins to fade! But he refuses to quit! He keeps shaking his head! And Jericho grabs the rope! The ref doesn't see it as he talks to Hogan who keeps on fighting. The fans are squarely behind Hogan as he begins to Hulk up! And he takes Chris down to the mat with a hiptoss! Hogan has escaped and he seems to have caught a second wind as he begins hammering away on a hapless Chris Jericho. He drives "The Long Island Loud-Mouth" into the corner and goes for an Irish whip, but Chris reverses sending Hogan into the corner instead! Chris charges in and catches a big boot to the jaw! Hulk Hogan meanwhile begins storming about the ring! As Jericho staggers up to one knee Hogan is right there and begins beating on him! He whips him into the ropes and hits him with an atomic drop! Chris reels in pain but doesn't fall as Hogan grabs him and hoists him up onto his shoulders for a back drop! The crowd is going nuts as Hogan cups his ear before running the ropes! And he hits the Atomic Leg Drop! This has gotta be it! 1!... 2!... 3!
No! Chris has got his shoulder up! Davis saw it! Hogan is shaking his head but he keeps on Jericho whom he pulls up to a seated position and locks in a headlock! He pounds the Champs head a bit before putting on the pressure! "The Loud-Mouth's" head looks like it's gonna pop as he screams in pain and vainly tries to fight his way out! He won'ts give up however and Hogan pulls him up to his feet and holds him in a standing headlock for a bit before pounding him back into the ropes and goes for another whip! On his way back Chris is sent flying with a back body drop! Hulk pulls his opponent up to his feet, but Chris has been playing possum and fits him with a sucker punch! The two men begin brawling furiously until Hogan grabs hold of Jericho and throws him into the ropes! He never makes it however as he collides with referee Danny Davis! Both men are down and Hogan attempts to wake Davis up when the fans begin booing! Hulk Hogan realizes something is up, but turns to late as he walks into a kicks in the gut from..."The Macho Man" Randy Savage! It's hard to tell if Hogan realizes what has just occured as Savage grabs Hogan, hoists him up into the air and hits a Piledriver on the 5-time WWF Champ! Hogan is out cold as Randy Savage exits the ring and backs his way up the ramp shaking his head. Chris Jericho is dazed as he gets back up to his feet and he smiles as he sees his opponent down and out. He rolls "The Hulkster" onto his back as Danny Davis begins getting up. Chris Jericho runs the ropes and hits the springboard moonsault! He makes the cover! 1!... 2!... 3!
Chris Jericho has won it! Davis raises his hand in victory and the Inter-Promotional Champion poses with his Title before exiting the ring to accompanied by a chorus of boos. 10/21/95 - Delaware"Here I Am Rocking Like a Hurricane" by The Scorpions plays as "Rock 'N Roll" Buck Zumhoff appears on the set of a brightly colored talk show set with a Rock 'N Roll/Wrestling theme. He then says he has an exciting show for us today. But first some of you folks at home might be wondering while "The Rock 'N Roller" is sporting a Hulk Hogan shirt? He gestures to the shirt he's wearing before telling us that it's just one of several new ECW styles that can be found at your finer clothing retailers or by calling 1-800-BUYECW! They then show us several new styles (mostly ones debuted at Old School Rulez) as well as several from the back catalog. Zumhoff then wraps up the adver... ahem, segment by doing his best Hogan impersonation by ripping off his T-shirt and heading down to the broadcast booth where his co-hoster "Captain" Loue Albano is seated wearing an Omega Horsemen t-shirt?!Buck's eyes bug out and Albano asks him what the hell was he expecting; that stupid Buck Zumhoff t-shirt? He says he's a big Omega Horsemen fan. His favorite moment all year was when that Hardy kid introduced a baseball bat to ol' Dumhoff's knee. Buck looks annoyed as he takes his seat to call the first match. Joel Gertner handles the intros for the first match of the night.Match: The Blitzkrieg vs. Al Green Though "Big" Al Green does his best to mount some offense, he is no match for "Mangler's Monster" The Blitzkrieg who tears him apart before putting him away with the Telegraph from Berlin chokeslam. The Baron Von Raschke cheers his protegee on from ringside as Danny Davis makes the count. The Lawlers are here to brag about how they're the longest reigning tag-team Champions in ECW history at 8 months.Match: Erin O'Grady vs. Battle Kat Erin O'Grady has some luck today as well in this back and forth battle between "The Leprechaun" and the maked Battle Kat who dazzle the crowd with several highspots including the Irishcanrana, the Over the Rainbow diving splash; and a tope dive from O'Grady. The Kat gives as good as he gets hitting Erin with a moonsault for a two count and a frankensteiner off the top before falling victim to the Lucky Charm double underhook implant DDT which nets Erin O'Grady the win. A very well groomed Sexton Hardcastle and Joe E. Legend tell us how they've known each other since their school days. And how ever since then they've had alot in common. They were both the best athletes, they both loved to wrestle. They were also were both the most charismatic. Joe in particular was hilarious. Legend however insists Hardcastle was funnier. In addition to this they both have great bodies and were the two best looking guys they knew. Which of course led to alot of resentment from other guys. They were always jealous of them because they always wanted to be like them. But no one could hope to be like Hardcastle or his buddy Joe; isn't that right? Sexton accidentally slaps Joe and apologizes offering to massage the shoulder he hit; which he continues to do while they tell us how it was only natural for the two of them to form a tag-team once they broke into this business. Being they did just about everything together already, coming to ECW to bust some heads and prove that together they're the best in the business seemed to be the perfect fit.Tag-Team Match: Sex & Violence vs. The Dudleys Both Albano and Zumhoff seem to finally be in agreement about something, Sex & Violence make them both a little uncomfortable. Zumhoff says they smile too much and Albano says there's something unnaturally... perfect about their teeth before remembering that Zumhoff used to manage the duo and asks how that little menage a trois got started. Zumhoff however has no comment and turns the attention to the ECW debut of the Dudley Boyz who "Rock 'N Roll" caught a glimpse of in the independents earlier this year.
The Dudleys' (or is it Dudleysi) style is very unorthodox to say the least, with multiple double-team manuevers by Snot and Dudley Dudley who're the legal men in the match. They isolate Sexton Hardcastle in the ring, but S&V's style is a bit unorthodox as well and when Sexton seems to like the double-teaming at one point it freaks Dudley Dudley out and enables Sexton to escape after nailing Snot with an Electric Chair facebuster! He tags out to Joe E. Legend who comes i swinging and takes both Dudleys down with a series of clotheslines before hitting Snot with an atomic drop and going upstairs goes airborne; connecting with a moonsault! 1!... 2!..
The cover gets broken up by Big Dick, who ends up arguing with Danny Davis while Dudley and Snot double-team Legend after Snot connected with a low blow from behind. From there Joe is in trouble and Dudley Dudley attempts a pin after a diving knee drop. The Dudley manages to keep Legend down for a bit, but Joe makes a comeback and after hitting a sidewalk slam on his opponent tags in Sexton Hardcastle. Staying in the ring, Joe E. Legend picks the Double D up into the air wheelbarrow style, while Sexton runs the ropes and connects with a jumping leg lariat at the same time. While Sex & Violence pick up the win, Albano says that according to his notes the move is called The Finger Cuff? Buck doesn't know what to make of it either.
Buck Zumhoff then says that he knows these kids like Wrestling; but do they love Rock'N Roll as much as "The Rock 'N Roller" himself? He then sends us to a music video featuring Sex & Violence's rather strange entrance music.George Michael - I Want Your Sex (Stereo Version)Finally Buck Zumhoff says that time is almost up for this week's show and that it's now time for Slammin' Saturdays Main Event feature; the Wrestling Rewind. He says that this week's Rewind is from ECW's big event Hotter Than Hell which took place on September 28th of last year and featured then ECW Champion "Macho Man" Randy Savage defending his Title against the villainous "Soul Stealer" Papa Shango in a Steel Cage in that night's Main Event!10/19/95 Main Event: Mongo Vyle vs. Randy Savage Mongo Vyle and Randy Savage lock up as Davis starts the match. Vyle immediately takes the offensive and pushes Savage back before laying into him with hard rights and lefts. Randy is caught offguard and driven back into the ropes where Mongo whips him across the ring and nails him with a big boot laying him out. Keeping on top of the Champ Mongo lifts him up to one knee; but Savage slaps out. He nails Vyle with an uppercut before heading back into the ropes, using them for momentum to take "The Mauler" down hard with a running clothesline. Both men hit the canvas. Randy crawls out of the ring to catch his breath on the outside while inside Mongo Vyle is back on his feet.
Savage doesn't see this and Mongo reaches over the top rope and grabs Randy by the hair attempting to pull him up into the ring. "Macho Man" screams in pain and reaching up grabs Vyle by the head causing the big man to lose his balance plummeting out of the ring. With Vyle on the floor Randy put the boots before him befor climbing up on the apron. He waits for his prey to get back to his feet before leaping off and connecting with the diving double axe handle. Vyle falls against the guardrails and taking advantage Savage slams Mongo's face into the steel. When he attemps it again Vyle connects with an elbow to Randy's face before smashing the Champ into the same railing. Inside the ring Davis has counted to six and seeing the danger he's in Mongo hoists Savage over his head and gorilla presses him into the ring stunning the crowd with his strength. He then climbs back in. "
Macho Man" is somewhat recovered however and stumbling to his feet hits a diving shoulder block taking "Th Machiavellan Mauler's" knee out from under him. Vyle is down on one knee when Savage leaps up into the air and plants Mongo face first into the canvas with a jumping leg lariat. He goes for the cover; but Vyle gets his foot up on the bottom rope at two. Grabbing his opponent by the arms Randy attempts to drag him to no avail and when he persists Mongo kicks him in the head. As Randy reels from the kick Mongo gets back onto his feet and grabs the Champ before nailing him with a sitout full nelson atomic drop! It's over! 1! 2!...
Savage kicks out! 3! Randy just kicks out and still looks out of it when Mongo lifts him and begins hammering the Champ's head and back. He goes for a second powerbomb; but halfway through Randy grabs his head holding himself on the big man's shoulders! While seated on Mongo's shoulders he begins pounding him in the head as Vyle stumbles about; finally falling into a corner. There Randy continues to pound on him until Davis delivers the five count. Leaping down into the ring; Savage charges "The Mauler" connecting with a high knee smash! Then grabbing his dazed opponent by the head he hits Mongo with a running bulldog planting him in the center of the ring. The crowd comes alive as Randy points to the corner. He's going up top! Mounting the turnbuckles Randy turns only to see Mongo Vyle is back on his feet!! He leaps anyway; connecting with a flying crossbody press on his dazed opponent! 1! 2!...3! Savage has won it!
Lights Fade.

10-24-95 - Wicomico Civic Center Salisbury, MD"Mean" Gene Okerlund and "The Genius" Lanny Poffo welcome us to the Wicomico Civic Center in Salisbury, Maryland for another action-packed edition of Eastern Championship Wrestling! They briefly recap last week's show including the Hardy Boyz match with the Bayour Boys devolving into an all-out brawl between the Omega Horsemen and Arn Anderson, Tully Blanchard, & Scott Taylor; the Junkyard Dog demanding a Title shot against ECW Champion "Ravishing" Rick Rude and in the huge Main Event the Inter-Promotional Champion Chris Jericho's defeat of Hulk Hogan, with a little help from "Macho Man" Randy Savage.
Okerlund is sure that we'll be hearing more than a little on that subject later tonight as both Hogan and Savage are scheduled to appear at the Civic Center. Also tonight we'll be hearing from ECW President Eric Bischoff on the Junkyard Dog's challenge for the ECW Championship, Tag-Team Champs The Ubermensch will face the team of Douglas Williams and the Eastern States Champ William Regal, Arn's group will be facing off against the Omega Horsemen in a series of single's matches; and ECW Champ "Ravishing" Rick Rude will face Dustin Rhodes in a non-Title match! But first...Best Hulk Hogan Tribute Real AmericanHulk Hogan's music hits and out from the back storms Hulk Hogan! He's fired up as he exchanges handshakes and high fives with the cheering fans on his way to the ring. Inside the ring he takes the microphone from Joel Gertner and talks to us about what happened last week brother. About how he was robbed of putting down the Inter-Promotional Champion man. How he had "The Long Island" Loud-Mouth" down for the 1-2-3. Had Championship Gold in his grasp brother. Only to have it snatched away by someone he thinks of as family. Someone whom he has had problems with in th past, but thought that hatchet was buried man. But apparently that wasn't so. Apparently that relationship, all the good will between Hulk Hogan and "The Macho Man" was a lie. A deception. So what Hogan wants right now? Is for Randy Savage to get his ass down here and tell him and all the millions of Hulkamaniacs what was going through his mind last week. What cancer was eating away at his insides to make him come out here and betray him and all these fans."Pomp and Circumstance" hits and from the back emerges "Macho Man" Randy Savage with "Hot Stuff" Debbie Combs in tow. He starts talking on the ramp, but doesn't stay there as he heads down to the ring. Deceived? Tricked? Oh no brother. It was Hulk Hogan who was the liar. It was Hulk Hogan denying the truth. Hogan, Savage; partners?! It's never, ever gonna happen man. Cause while Hulk Hogan claims to want to help, all he does is hinder. Yeah. All he does is mug to the crowd. Steal te spotlight for his damn self. That's what The Hulkster is about. Pushing people down. Holding them back. It's something "Macho Man" Randy Savage had to deal with for years. Hogan always stealing his thunder. Didn't even leave the ring when he won the Title. Oh no. Hogan had to be right there brother. He had to make sure everyone, everyone in that damned arena knew that Hulk Hogan was still number one. Well "The Macho Man" is tired of being number two. He's tired of playing second fiddle. Dig it. Because here in ECW, this is Randy Savage's yard. He's the top dog. The cream of the crop, sitting at the top. And he knows over in WWF it must've been eating at him as he took loss after loss to the likes of Bret Hart. To Steve Austins. Hulkamania was dying and he knew it. So what does The Hulkster do? He comes here acting like he's retired. But oh no! The "Macho Man" knew what he was after. He's here looking to play in the house that Savage built. Well let "Macho Man" tell you something brother, Randy Savage isn't here to play. He's here to prove once and for all what everybody in this arena knows. That the "Macho Man" is the better wrestler and the better man. And if that means he has to put the final nail in the coffin containing Hulkamania brother? Well that's just fine with him. Ooooh yeah!
Hogan looks livid and decks him! He has the early advantage and Hulks up a bit as he hammers Savage about the ring; but the "Macho Man" soon recovers and the two men begin exchanging punches. The duo are beating the holy heck out of one another when Eric Bischoff appears on the ramp with most of the locker room whom he leads down to the ring to stop the two men from tearing one another apart! They have alot of trouble doing it, but manage to subdue both Savage and Hogan who're still arguing with one another as ECW takes it's first... After the break we're in front of the ECW banner where ECW correspondent Terri Runnels is talking with Beulah McGillicutty about Ivory's comments last week. Beulah says that having lost her own Women's Championship under similar circumstances she understands how Ivory may feel slighted. However, she doesn't care. She says that since coming to Eastern Championship Ivory has been nothing but a stuck up bitch thinking she's better than everyone else. She's a better wrestler. She's a better person. She's better looking. And now she wants Bealah's head on a stick? Well that just fine. Cause is easier said than done. And next time they meet we're going to see just how much better looking Ivory is when McGillicutty shoves that bitch's head up her own ass!
We're then taken to the ring where odd lights circle about the ring and circus music is playing as Joel Gertner makes with the intros for the first match of the night.Match: Luna Vachon vs. Rockin' Robin The entire Circus of Doom (Borne, Pogo & Dink) accompany the ECW Woman's Champ "Mad Dog" Luna Vachon to the ring in this match officiated by S.D. Jones. They don't interfere however and only annoy the crowd while inside the ring Luna Vachon mostly dominates Rockin' Robin before putting her away with a charging 180-degree spinning facebuster.
Afterwards she celebrates with her cohorts, making out with Borne. Lanny says he just threw up in his mouth a little. And Okerlund doesn't blame him. Back from break we're once again in front of the ECW banner. This time ECW correspondent Terri Runnels is talking to "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson, Tully Blanchard and Scott Taylor about their upcoming singles matches with The Omega Horsemen. Each man gets time on the mic with Arn telling us how they know damn well with these guys, there'll never be a fair fight. But tonight he gets in the ring against Steve Corino for the first time since he brained him with a steel chair. He says that Steve shook him pretty good, but tonight he's going to show "Mr. Wrestling" that "The Enforcer" knows more than a little about brain busting himself. Tully then talks about getting Jeff Hardy alone in the ring and how since he's come here to Eastern Championship to help Arn it's always been a gang mentality. And that while he's sure that isn't going to change anytime soon, last week he had Jeff's number until his little buddies jumped him. Tonight though there's only going to be one call and that'll be for the bell. When he pins Hardy 1-2-3. Scott Taylor then talks about how since coming to ECW and having Arn take him under his wing he's come a long way. And while he's had his shares of bumps and bruises, he isn't complaining. Because with every setback he hasn't gotten discouraged. He hasn't given up. He's kept right on fighting. And tonight that's just what Matt Hardy had better be ready for. A could old-fashioned ass kicking.Match: Tully Blanchard vs. Jeff Hardy Tully Blanchard dominates Jeff Hardy most of the first half of the match, keeping the young man off his feet and works over his legs and neck. Jeff gets some offense in but looks to be in some serious trouble when Blanchard sets him up for a piledriver! Hardy blocks it however be wrapping his legs around Tully's head and takes him down to the mat with a headscissors takedown! Jeff looks a little wobbly, but mounts a comeback using his speed against Blanchard whom he hits with several dropkicks, a sitout jawbreaker, an inverted suplex slam; and a baseball slide. He makes several attempts to pin Blanchard, but he refuses to stay down and gets in his fair share of offense with a slingshot suplex, a vertical suplex; and traps Jeff in the figure four for a while. Hardy proves to be just as resilient as his opponent however and kicks out just before the three count can be delivered when Tully slams him to the mat with a sunset flip! When Tully uses the Texas Cloverleaf to put Jeff away late in the match, he just squirms his way to the ropes getting referee Danny Davis to break the hold. While Blanchard backs off him however, Jeff reaches into his boot and pulls out a foreign object! Jumping up he shovers Danny Davis aside and decks Tully! Tully Blanchard is seeing stars as Jeff Hardy catches him andn nails him with a swining neckbreaker! He makes the cover. 1!.. 2!.. 3! Hardy has won the match!
After getting his hand raised in victory, Jeff makes a quick exit from the ring while Tully gets to his feet and argues with S.D. Jones that Hardy hit him with something other than his hand. Blanchard is pissed.ECW returns and we're in the locker room where Steve Corino congratulates Jeff Hardy on his big win. Matt Hardy and Jason Venom join them and Corino tells them that this is just the start of things to come. That they're 1 for 1 tonight and they need to keep it up. That whether by hook or crook Arn Anderson and Scott Taylor are going down, then next week they'll defeat the Horsemen plus one in the big six man tag-team match proving once and for all that the four of them, the Omega Horsemen; are the most dominant force in wrestling today. The camera then pans to a hallway backstage where "Hacksaw" Butch Reed is discussing something with his tag-team partner Brickhouse Brown when Brown suddenly turns about and starts getting loud with someone who isn't there before going quiet and staring into space. Reed is looking at him unsure what to say when...The Tag-Team Champions The Blitzkrieg and Aryan von Raschke approach him from behind. They watch Brickhouse for a few seconds, startling Butch Reed when he realizes they're there. He asks Aryan what the hell do they want and Aryan tells him nothing, but he should get Brown's head checked. That Reed's "brother" be crazy. He makes the crazy motion before exiting with The Blitzkrieg. Reed then turns back to Brickhouse Brown who's back to normal. He shrugs his shoulders at Butch and ask "What man?"Tag-Team Match: The Ubermensch vs. Douglas Williams & William Regal S.D. Jones starts the match with Aryan von Raschke starting off against Douglas Williams. The two men tear into one another getting off some impressive offense including multiple dropkicks from both men. Aryan hits a reverse DDT, a scoop powerslam; and a diving elbow drop onto a standing Williams. "The U.K. Kidd" isn't going down without a fight however and uses a release double underhook suplex and a guillotine choke in an attempt to put Aryan away. After hitting a side Russian legsweep on Williams, Von Raschke gets a bit cocky and taunts the fans, only to fall victim to the Chaos Theory waist lock backwards roll trainsitioned into a German Suplex! 1!... 2!..
The Blitzkrieg charges in and with a stomp breaks up the count. As Douglas rolls up to his feet he hits a dropkick on "Mangler's Monster," but the big man is unphased! He clobbers Douglas before laying him flat with a powerbomb! William Regal who has been busy being distracted by The Baron Von Raschke finally shakes him off his leg and comes to his partners defense! A little too late as he walks right into a big boot courtesy of The Blitzkrieg! Aryan meanwhile has made the cover on Douglas! 1!... 2!... Williams kicks out!
Frustrated Aryan tags out to his partner The Blitzkrieg and the big man begins stomping the hell out of "The U.K. Kidd!" Regal is back in his corner however and he wants in. He begins yelling at "Mangler's Monster" who shakes his head and grabbing Douglas by the scruff of his neck tosses him to his corner! The Blitzkrieg wants William Regal! Regal charges the man he beat for the Eastern States Championship back in September and eats a clothesline!
The two men duke it out battling back and forth, with William Regal taking the brunt of the damage. He mounts a comeback late in the match when he staggers The Blitzkrieg with a hard left before leaping up onto his opponent and laying him out with a Tornado DDT! He gets a two count, but from there "Mangler's Monster" rallies back and is looking like he's out to destroy Regal hitting him with several powerbombs, a military press drop; and the Chokeslam from Berlin without even attempting a pin. Finally at the insistance of The Baron to "finish him!" The Blitkrieg hurls William Regal across the ring with an Irish whip while Aryan goes up top and connects with a dropkick to Regal's face taking his head clean off! The Blitzkrieg makes the cover and gets the count while the commentators wonder if this will be one short Title reign for Regal who still has a rematch with "Mangler's Monster" coming in his very near future.Poffo and Okerlund welcome us back from the break before reminding us that next week's show will be coming to us live from the nation's captial Washington D.C. as Eastern Championship invades the DC Armory. They tell us that while tickets for the show are sold out, those folks at home should tune in right here on ECW's home station of TNN The Nashville Network to catch all the action live! Before the match Steve Corino comes out and starts badmouthing Arn Anderson. He's alone out in the ring and makes sure we all know it, saying that "The Enforcer" isn't man enough to come down here and step into the ring with "Mr. Wrestling" by himself.Match: Arn Anderson vs. Steve Corino Arn Anderson comes down to the ring all business. Steve Corino opens his mouth to continue his little rant and Anderson slaps the taste out of his mouth! Danny Davis starts the match as "The Enforcer" goes to work on the man who stole his belt. Early on Steve Corino holds his own and looks impressive as the two men exhange momentum as couple times with Corino getting a two count following a sliding lariat. Midway though the match Arn takes over however and gets a nearfall with the Gourdbuster inverted suplex slam. Corino plays the heel in peril, begging Anderson off and striking when he gets the chance until Arn Anderson whips him across the ring setting him up for a vicious clothesline! That hits Danny Davis full force?! Corino has thrown the ref in the way! Anderson looks remorseful, but wastes no time in laying the smirking Steve Corino out with a hard left! The crowd cheers Anderson as he turns just in time to see big Jason Venom charge into the ring and take him out with a monstrous big boot! He ducks under the ring as quickly as he came out from under it while a dazed Davis wakes up and Steve Corino makes the cover! 1!... 2!... 3! Steve Corino got it! The Omega Horseman are 2 for 2! And he lets us all know it by smugly raising two fingers into the air!Just then however Tully Blanchard and Scott Taylor rush down to the ring! Steve Corino quickly bails from the ring while Jason Venom scrambles out and follows him into the crowd. Tully and Scott help Arn Anderson to see feet as we're treated to a Quakers Oats commercial.Match: Junkyard Dog vs. Sexton Hardcastle Junkyard Dog comes down to the ring accompanied to "Another One Bite the Dust" by Queen and barks at the crowd while rattling his chain. Sexton Hardcastle puts up a decent fight, but the old veteran takes the young man to school and after dominating him a bit hits the Thump! front powerslam for the win. During the match Okerlund and Poffo talk about JYD's chances for defeating Rick Rude for the Title, of which Lanny things he doesn't have one. After the match we're taken to the locker room again where Chris Jericho cuts a promo on his decisive win over 5-time WWF Champion Hulk Hogan last week. Another in the long line of wins for the Inter-Promotional Champion. Having crushed Hulkamania he claims to be an unstoppable force and that nobody, but nobody can take this Title off him because he's truly the greatest athlete, entertainer, human being to have ever lived! He then opens his locker to find... the black baseball bat?! Jericho's face goes all crazy and he slams the locker door closed before turning toward the camera and yelling "STTIIIIINNNG!" in a very Shatner Wrath of Khan sort of way."Fire" by Scooter hits and Steve Corino appears on the ramp? He swaggers down to the ring followed not only by Matt Hardy, but the other Omega Horsemen Jeff Hardy and Jason Venom as well. "Welcome to the Jungle" by Guns 'N Roses then plays but Scott Taylor is nowhere to be seen? After about a minute's wait he appears with Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard in tow! It's obvious Arn has had enough and he argues with Corino at ringside a bit with things nearly coming to blows before leading Taylor and Blanchard to their corner.Match: Scott Taylor vs. Matt HardyS.D. Jones warns everyone to stay out of his ring before the match starts. In the early going Scott Taylor has a clear edge over Hardy nearly scoring the pinfall with a sunset flip following a whip from Hardy. He's still in control when Matt Hardy rakes the eyes while Corino distracts the ref. This gets Anderson and Tully mad and they argue with the ref, which only leads to more trouble for Taylor when Matt Hardy cockily throws him out to the floor and the Omega Horsemen swarm on him like a pack of vultures! Jeff, Jason; and Steve all gets a few kicks in before Arn And Tully round the corner and an all out brawl erupts at ringside! "The Enforcer" and Blanchard manage to get the trio backtracking as they lay into them when Matt Hardy who's still in the ring runs the ropes, charges acorss the ring and hits them both with a plancha dive! All three men crash to the floor and Corino is knocked back into the guardrail. He's quickly back up however and with Jason Venom and Jeff Hardy he puts the boots to Tully and Arn! S.D. Jones has called for the bell and declared the match a No Contest.
"Mr. Wrestling" meanwhile is directing traffic as Jason Venom takes Arn and the Hardy Boyz take Blanchard and roll the duo into the ring. They forget Taylor as they enter the ring and begin beating on the two former Horsemen who after getting laid out with assisted Venom sheer-drop release powerbombs in turn are treated to a doubel does of the high angle senton Bomb from Jeff Hardy! Steve Corino isn't done with either man however and has Jason pull the totally out of it Arn Anderson up to his feet and set him up for a superkick! At the last minute however Venom is thrust forward as he takes a chair shot to the skull and eats Corino's superkick himself! Steve is momentarily stunned and ends up taking a chair shot himself from Venom's attacker; Scott Taylor! Taylor is fired up as he charges the Hardy Boyz who quickly clear the ring! Steve Corino meanwhile has groggily gotten back up to one knee and Scott Taylor reels back with the chair! Steve begs him not to hit him and Taylor pauses... before nailing him again! Corino is out cold along with Venom as Scott Taylor keeps Matt and Jeff from the ring. Arn and Tully are now back up though looking shaky as ECW goes to...Poffo and Okerlund welcome us back from the last commercial break of the evening. They talk briefly about the brawl we just witnessed and show a video recap of Anderson and company allowing paramedics stretcher Steve Corino from the ring while the rest of the Omega Horsemen vow revenge next week. They then hype tonight's big main event which will see the ECW Champion "Ravishing" Rick Rude take on wrestling legend Dusty Rhodes' son Dustin Rhodes who himself is a former WCW United States Champion. Okerlund puts him over as knowing just how important a match like this is and what it takes to win it. "Heaven Beside You" by Alice in Chains plays as Dustin Rhodes shows up.
Gertner: The following non-Title contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first from Austin, Texas weighing 243 lbs., he is "The American Nightmare" Dustin Rhodes!
Dustin enters the ring and briefly poses for the crowd before sitting up on one of the top turnbuckles. Rick Rude's strip them hits and out comes the ECW Champion "Ravishing" Rick Rude. He's wearing his robe and has the Title slung over his shoulder.
Gertner: And now introducing his opponent this evening from Robbinsdale, Minnesota weighing in at 251 lbs.; he is the Eastern Heavyweight Champion "Ravishing" Rick Rude!Getting into the ring he struts about and begins talking on the mic while Dustin removes his flask from his shirt and takes a swig while glaring at the Champ. After demanding they cut the music he tells us that having spent the last week here in Maryland he can see why they're called the Free State. He hasn't exactly had to wine and dine the women here if you know what he means. And having said that he's sure there's still not gonna be a shortage of girls here who're gonna wanna help him with this here robe.
He's right. Though there are less applicants than usual, he gets a handful of willing volunteers at ringside. After making his selection, security helps the lucky lady up to the ring where she helps him remoove his robe while his strip theme once again plays. Once it's off he scoops her into his arms and plants one on her. She seems stunned by the experience.Main Event: Rick Rude vs. Dustin Rhodes Dustin Rhodes looks annoyed by Rick Rude's theatrics, but when Danny Davis has them shake hands at the start of the match, he does. And pulls the Champ in for a backbreaker over his knee! Dustin keeps on top of "The Ravishing One" early on, but after several minutes Rick buys himself some time with a back elbow to the face. From there both men tear into one another with neither having the clear advantage. Dustin makes several pin attempts throughout the match following a DDT, a sidewalk slam; and later still when he sits Rude in the corner and kicks him in the crotch! This last one really pisses Rude off, but gives Rhodes an edge for a while and "The American Nightmare" attempts to lock him in a sleeper hold. Rude however battles out and mounts a comeback, taking the fight right back to Dustin. Though he failed to put Dusty's boy down after several other attempts; when Rick Rude nails Dustin Rhodes with the Rude Awakening delayed hangman's neckbreaker; it's the final curtain call for the challenger and Rude picks up the win.
After the hard fought victory Rick Rude is handed his Title by Danny Davis as he looks to catch a breather. It's only a short on as "White Train" by Tito & Tarantula hits and out from the back swaggers ECW President Eric Bischoff! And he has The Junkyard Dog with him! He enters the ring and tells us his usual spiel about how when Eric Bischoff is out in the ring, business is at hand. He says that's precisely why he's out here tonight in fact, because he's been weighing Junkyard Dog's claim to a Title shot. Now there's no arguing with The Dog on his evidence. He did beat Rick Rude earlier this year on February 8th in one of the most brutal matches in ECW history. And a week before Old School Rulz? JYD did pin then ECW Heavyweight Champ Steve Corino. With a little help from Rude himself in fact. Of course Corino did lose the belt the following week. But Junkyard can't fight him for a Title he longer posesses. So the question is, should that Title shot carry over to the next Champion? And to this Eric Bischoff says... why not? In fact, he's scheduled the match at The D.C. Armory next week!
Junkyard Dog is very happy to hear this and thanks Eric Bischoff giving him a hug that looks a little too tight. (judging from the Bisch' eyes bugging out anyway) The crowd cheers and gives a chorus of barks as JYD riles them up. Rick Rude however doesn't seem too happy with this at all. He laughs before getting on the microphone. Rude tells us that he's worked damned hard to get where he is today. That it's been ten years since he won his last Heavyweight Championship. That he's done nothing but work out, get stronger; and kick the shit out of anyone who stood in his way. And now he stands here the ECW Heavyweight Champion. The biggest Title he's ever held. And he figured with the belt would come some quality challengers. But instead he has to face a fat, out of shape loser like the Junkyard Dog? A man who barks like a damned buffoon? A man whose greatest move in his arsenal is a headbutt? Well okay. If that's who he's gotta face, that's what he'll do. But he's tired of has-beens like JYD trying to still compete like they mean something. Which is why next week Rick Rude isn't just going to pin Junkyard Dog. He's gonna end his career. JYD moves to hit Rude, but Eric gets between them and holds Junkyard back. Rick Rude is smirking at him as he turns to exit.
And walks right into a hard right from Dick Murdoch! Murdoch has JYD's chain wrapped around his hand and he tosses it to Junkyard Dog who's thrown Bischoff aside! Rick hits the ground like a sack of bricks, but manages to get up on all fours before The Dog pounces him and wraps the chain about his neck! Junkyard Dog is choking Rude out! Eric tries to stop him, but gets thrown off and back into the ropes by "Captain Reneck!" Several wrestlers storm from the back and pull Junkyard off of the ECW Champ who lies in an unconscious heap as the...

10/27/95 - Maryland"Here I Am Rocking Like a Hurricane" by The Scorpions plays as "Rock 'N Roll" Buck Zumhoff appears on the set of a brightly colored talk show set with a Rock 'N Roll/Wrestling theme. He then says he has an exciting show for us today. Not only will the Women's Champ "Mad Dog" Luna Vachon be in action, but also ECW President Eric Bischoff has apparently brought a team her today to take care of The Circus of Doom for him! Just then "White Train" by Tito & Tarantula hits and out from the back comes Eric Bischoff himself!Buck Zumhoff welcomes him to the show and Eric asks him why they aren't playing that "hiiilarious" video of him getting Buried in the Basement by Pogo the Clown again today. He hears it was a real hit the other week. "Rock 'N Roll" looks uneasy and tells Eric he has no idea what he's talking about. They then head over to the broadcast booth where Buck introduces his co-host "Captain" Lou Albano! Albano seems just as happy to see Eric here today and is even more excited when they learn he's joining them on commentary this morning! They ask him who this "special team" he's brought here is and he says not to worry, that he's seen these guys on the Independents and that they were Tag-Team Champions in another promotion. He's promised them contracts should they win. And he's sure they'll get the job done. He's very excited to see the Circus of Doom taken out. It'll be a real... rush.
Joel Gertner handles the intros for the first match of the night.Match: Luna Vachon vs. Brandi Wine Brand Wine really gives the Women's Champ a fight here tonight, taking her down to the mat with a running double axe handle early on. She gets Luna Vachon up in a deathlock surfboard at one point and gets a two count after a sidewalk slam. "Mad Dog" of course is no sluch and getting pissed after failing to put her opponent down with a snap suplex and swinging neckbreaker; Luna Vachon ends up busting Brandi Wine open after hitting a Lou Thesz Press and hammering her head in. She then hits the 180 degreespinning facebuster to get the pinfall from Danny Davis. The ECW Champion Rick Rude has the Title draped over his shoulder while he walks past a row of hot women in bikinkis while in his robe. He's inspecting them. Turning toward the camera as he continues to walk he says that a Champion as "Ravishing" as himself has to live by higher standards than the typical guy; which is why a fine physical specimen such as himself would never date a girl who rates lower than a "9." He then halts dead in his tracks distrubed by something and walking three women back leers at one of the women before calling for security. Two men show up and he tells them to take her away. She is dragged away, kicking and screaming; and calling for Rude to give her another chance. Turning back to the camera he tells us "She was an 8."Match: Rhino vs. Mike Modest Mike Modest gets some offense in on "The Man-Beast" Rhino including a Fisherman Buster and a Russian Legsweep. The former tag-team Champion proves to be too much for him however and after softening him up with several suplexes and slams; Rhino flattens Modest with The Gore striking spear and hooks the leg while Davis makes with the count.Back from the break we're taken to a pre-recorded black and white promo with an annoying strobe light where "The Ring Master" Matt Borne is with Circus of Doom members Luna Vachon, Pogo the Clown; and Dink who he's telling that it isn't easy being him. Alot of people think it is, but it isn't. Looking to control two of the most powerful wrestling organizations in the wrestling world. Firstly the Circus of Doom, which is already his for the taking; and secondly Eastern Championship which soon will be. It's alot of work, but he wouldn't trade it for anything. Whether it's utterly decimating someone to take their Title or just cracking someone's skull in for the fun of it; he doesn't care who it is... Randy Savage, William Regal; or that pipsqueak Spike Hughes. It's all the same to him. He and the C.O.D. will take out anyone in this sport. At any time. But somtimes... he feels bad about it. Borne laughs manaiacally before saying that no. No he doesn't. Whether it's the wannabes, the has-beens, the misfits, the giants he doesn't care. He'll give them the opportunity to step into his world. To join him up at the Big Top. And each and every one of them will get the chance to be sent crashing down to the Earth below. Mangled. Battered. Broken. He laughs again with his cohorts.Tag-Team Match: The Circus of Doom vs. The Green Berets Eric Bischoff leads to the ring the team of Corporal Kirschner and John Rambo! The kids love them as they wave the American flag about. Zumhoff puts The Green Berets over as former ACW tag-team Champions and says that this Circus of Doom may've bitten off more they can chew here tonight. He then suggests maybe Albano should join the Circus. "The Captain" gives him a phony Haw Haw laugh. Inside the ring meanwhile The Green Berets are looking impressive as John Rambo starts things off with Matt Borne. He works him over a bit, hitting several clotheslines before Borne rallies back and hits Rambo with a spinebuster before locking him in the Stump Puller single leg inverted Boston Crab!
Corporal Kirschner breaks it up however with a clothesline! Together the two men work Borne over and hit Borne with a double flapjack. Pogo doesn't seems unphased by any of this and Kirschner gets tagged in as the legal man. A big boot gets him a two count and he keeps control of the match for a little while before Borne ducks a clothesline and plans the Corporal with a full nelson bomb! He makes the tag to Pogo the Clown! Pogo enters the ring and lets Kirschner get up to his feet. The Corporal lets the Clown have it and Pogo no-sells several punches before Kirschner grabs him in a side headlock! The Clown begins laughing maniacally as Kirschner locks in a Clawhold at the same time; and the mammoth Pogo throws Kirschner into the ropes and begins wailing on him on the rebound! From there Pogo the Clown batters and clubs the Green Beret, busting him open! He hits Kirschner with a front powerslam, but before he can make the cover John Rambo storms the ring! But so does Matt Borne!
Soon all four men are brawling about the ring, but after a while The Circus of Doom get the upperhand on The Berets and Borne whips Rambo whil Pogo whips Kirschner across the ring nailing them both with two brutal clotheslines! "The Ring Master" directs traffic as Pogo pulls Rambo up to his feet and tosses him out of the ring. Danny Davis orders Matt Borne from the ring, but the damage is already done as Pogo the Clown Buries Corporal Kirschner in the Basement! He gets the pin and an angry Eric Bischoff turns to make his retreat...
Only to find Luna Vachon waiting for him! She easily rolls Eric into the ring where he gets up onto his knees and finds himself face to face with Matt Borne and Pogo the Clown! He's begging and pleading while backing off on his knees! Borne seems to be asking Pogo if they should Bury Eric too! "The Ring Master" however has a change of heart and tells Bischoff he can leave the ring if he puts an end to this and never bothers the Circus of Doom again! Bischoff is pleased and scurries up to his feet. Only to get Buried in the Basement again! Wait, no. Though Pogo grabs Eric, Borne tops him and tells the scared President to get going. And piefaces him! Eric hits the ground and rolls out before leaving in a hurry while the Circus of Doom celebrate their win here today.
Buck Zumhoff then says that he knows these kids like Wrestling; but do they love Rock'N Roll as much as "The Rock 'N Roller" himself? Well unfortunately he doesn't have any today. In fact... he's not sure he'd even call this music; but it's the entrance music of that evil carnival known as the Circus of Doom!Insane Clown Posse-Dead Body ManFinally Buck Zumhoff says that time is almost up for this week's show and that it's now time for Slammin' Saturdays Main Event feature; the Wrestling Rewind. He says that this week's Rewind is from back on ECW's show on October 26th of last year when two sets of former Tag-Team Champions The New Orient Express and Destruction Inc. faced off in a match to determine the # 1 contenders who would go on to face then Tag-Team Champions The Killer Bees!10/26/95 Main Event: The New Orient Express vs. Destruction Inc. Yoshihiro Tajiri starts things off with Rhino and "The Japanese Buzzsaw" tears into "The Man-Beast" with a barrage of kicks. It's obvious that The Express has a score to settle with the team that took their Titles back in July and both Taka and Yoshihiro use quick tags to keep a frustrated Rhino in their corner. Things look all but done when Michinoku manages to steady himself as he holds the much bigger Rhino up for the Michinoku Driver II while Tajiri goes up top and connects with a dropkick to Rhino's back before Taka proceeds to go for the pin. Mongo Vyle however makes the save with a diving forearm smash before clearing the ring of The Express. This gives a weary Rhino more than enough time to tag his partner in. Mongo dominates Taka for a while hitting him with several clothelines, slams; and a barrage of punches before Michinoku surprises the big man with a hurrancanrana which he counters a powerbomb with. Making the hot tag to Yoshihiro Tajiri; the "Japanese Buzzsaw" goes on the offense immediately hitting a Tiger Feint kick on Vyle who is leaning on the second rope; which he then follows up with a springboard moonsault. Despite pulling out some of his best offense however, Tajiri fails to keep Mongo down and eventually "The Machiavellan Mauler" mounts an comback. He chops Yoshihiro across the ring and attempts a cover after a scoop slam; but Tajiri kicks out at two. Angered he lifts Tajiri and Irish whips him so hard that he spills out to the floor over the ropes. On the outside Rhino grabs Tajiri and begins battering on him; smashing his face into the apron. He then attempts to choke "The Buzzsaw" out by lifting his smaller opponent up into the air by his neck with both hands. As Tajiri struggles to free himself Taka Michinoku comes from behind and uses the steel steps as a springboard for a flying knee into Rhino's back. "The Man-Beast" drops Tajiri to the ground and as Davis counts 8 with a struggle Yoshihiro climbs up onto the apron. Much to the ref's chagrin so has Mr. Fuji! While Davis orders Fuji down Mongo Vyle plods over to a weay Tajiri who is still standing on the apron and grabs him by the head. Yoshihiro gives him a face full of mist! Davis doesn't see it! It's obvious Yoshihiro Tajiri has been playing opossum a little as Yoshihiro Tajiri springs up onto the top rope and grabbing Mongo Vyle in mid-air hits a springboard bulldog! Danny rushes to make the count and The Express picks up the win! After the match (still on 10/26/95) we're once again taken backstage where Eric Bischoff is returning to his office whistling. A man in an expensive red suit walks by him. When he opens the door his eyes go buggy and he mutters the words "oh shit." The camera pans to the room and on the floor still dressed in his Papa Shango costume Teddy Long lies motionless, bloody and battered. As we here Bischoff scream for a medic; the camera moves up the wall. There written in blood are three words. "Papa Shango lives!"
Lights Fade.

They wish us a happy Halloween before briefly recap last week's show which saw a brawl break out before Hulk Hogan and "The Macho Man" Randy Savage, the Omega Horsemen dominating Arn Anderson and his team of Tully Blanchard and Scott Taylor by any means necessary; and ECW Champion Rick Rude defeat Dustin Rhodes before getting attacked by the number one contender Junkyard Dog and his tag-team partner Dick Murdoch!
They then hype tonight's special Halloween card which will feature Junkyard Dog challenging Rude for the Eastern Heavyweight Title in the huge Main Event! Also tonight's show the Tag-Team Champions The Ubermensch will battle their hated rivals Brickhouse Brown and Butch Reed, the Omega Horsemen will face the team of Arn, Tully; and Taylor in a huge six-man tag team match. And though they can't tell us why he's here tonight, there's a huge superstar who as far as Lanny and Gene know isn't part of the ECW roster here tonight. But they aren't saying who. They then open the show with an Inter-Promotional Title match as Joel Gertner makes with the intros. And out comes...Freddy Music VideoThis upsets "The Genius" who feels his intelligence is being insulted. Once Nightmare Freddy is inside the ring "You're the Best Around" by Joe Espisito hits and out comes the Inter-Promotional Champion Chris Jericho. He isn't happy about his opponent either and makes us all aware of it as he heads down to the ring. He says that this is the sort of stupidity he'd expect from a Japanese wrestling show or maybe even something that assclown Lawler would pull in Memphis. However he's not going to bore us with another tirade and promises the fans in attendance that they won't be in any danger of falling asleep. Cause "The Long Island Loud-Mouth" is gonna be "Freddy's" final nightmare!Inter-Promotional Title Match: Chris Jericho vs. Nightmare Freddy (Doug Gilbert) Chris Jericho rushes into the ring and attacks Nightmare Freddy! As referee S.D. Jones starts the match however Jericho learns that his opponent in no slouch and puts up one hell of a fight. Freddy dominates Chris on several occasions and the fans get behind the "masked joke" who even traps "The Loud-Mouth" in the Iron Claw! Chris screams in pain but fights his way back and Jones ends up pronouncing Freddy's Dead when the inter-Promotional Champ drops him on his head with a suplex and then locks in the elevated Boston Crab for the submission victory. Back from the break ECW correspondent Terri Runnels is with the Inter-Promotional Champ Chris Jericho! He's riding high on his victory over Krueger who he says just learned who the real Dream Master is. Terri asks about the bat he found in his locker last week and Jericho scoffs. He says he just beat a horror icon. I mean did you SEE Surburban Commando and Mr. Nanny? "The Loud-Mouth" is over Sting. He proved back in September he's a coward. But if he ever does want to step in the ring with him, he knows where to find Chris. And Jericho isn't afraid of anything or anyone.
Just then however thunder booms across the arena and Chris jumps out of his skin. Match: Ivory vs. Beulah McGillicutty Danny Davis starts the match and Ivory and Beulah McGillicutty beat the hell out of one another. There're no pin attempts, but alot of hair pulling and eye rakes for Davis to keep breaking up as the duo continually brutalize one another. In the end the ref has had enough and calls for the bell declaring it a Double DQ. The two women aren't through however and several wrestlers are called from the back to break up the catfight.Circus music is playing when ECW returns and weird lights swirl about the arena before finally the spotlight falls on "The Ringmaster" Matt Borne. He's in his top hat and suit jacket with the Women's Champ Luna Vachon, the massive Pogo the Clown and the midge Dink at his side. He very theatrically tells us how he tires of crushing insignicant pipsqueaks week after week. That they're ready to take their act right to the big top. And that his Circus of Doom has set their sights on an ECW Champion. Which Champion do you ask? Well he's not tellling. Yet. But he promises all will be revealed tonight.Match: Doug Gilbert vs. Pogo the Clown The ECW Light Heavyweight Champ Doug Gilbert has more guts than he has brains according to Poffo as he enters the ring against Pogo the Clown. He does his best as Jones starts the match, but Pogo dominates Gilbert before Burying Him in the Basement and gets the count from S. D. Jones. Borne seems very pleased.
After the match Lanny wonders if Pogo is going after the Lightweight Championship and Gene tells him he can be a real idiot sometimes. That the Clown is way over the weight limit to challenge for the Title. We're then taken backstage where ECW President Eric Bischoff is signing a few contracts that he's talking to the camera about. He tells "us" where to sign and the camera pans across to reveal he's talking to Hulk Hogan and "Macho Man" Randy Savage about a match between the two that he's scheduling for next week! Both men look at one another like they want to kill the other, but Hogan simply says it sounds alright with him brother before signing; while Savage gives an enthusiastic "Oooooh Yeah!" before doing the same!"Mean Gene" can barely contain his excitement about the upcoming Hogan/Savage match which he says will be an instant classic while he and "The Genius" remind us that next week ECW will be coming to us live from the Hampton Roads Coliseum in beautiful Hampton Roads, Virginia. They tell us that while tickets for the show are sold out, that those folks at home should be sure to tune in right here on Eastern Championship's home station of TNN The Nashville Network! Poffo laments however that the only thing that could make going to Virginia worse, would be to have to watch a "Macho Chump" match too.
They then discuss the next match with Lanny commenting on how the Omega Horsemen were really impressive last week getting win after win against Blanchard, Anderson; and Taylor. Okerlund finds nothing too impressive about that gaggle of cheats led by Corino however. He thinks it's only a matter of time before "Mr. Wrestling's" luck runs out.Six-Man Tag-Team Match: Arn, Tully & Taylor vs. Corino & the Hardy Boyz w/Jason VenomArn Anderson warns Jason Venom to stay outside as he starts things off with Matt Hardy. He's out to punish all four of the Omega Horsemen and though Hardy puts up a fight, he gets his ass handed to him by Anderson. "The Enforcer" however really is looking for Corino and while putting the hurt on Matt, keeps beckoning the former ECW Champ into the ring. Finally after getting worked over pretty good, Matt manages to escape Arn's clutches and makes the hot tag to Steve Corino!
Wait. No. Corino wants no part of "The Enforcer" and has jumped down from the apron to avoid the tag! Jeff Hardy tags in instead and scaling the corner goes airborne! He lands the high-angle senton bomb on a still standing Arn Anderson! Double A hits the mat hard and whipping him into the Omega Horseman corner, Matt gets down on all fours in front of their opponent to assist Jeff Hardy as he uses him as a step stool to hit the Whisper in the Wind! AA staggers forward and hits the mat where Jeff rolls him over for a two count! From there Jeff uses his speed to his advantage to keep Anderson off balance with several dropkicks. He keeps on him, but when he begins smashing Arn's face into the corner turnbuckle, Anderson blocks it and lets Jeff have it with an elbow to the face! Climbing up to the second rope he takes Jeff down to the mat with a shoulder tackle and begins hammering him with hard rights and lefts! Though Jeff gets a few shots here and there, Arn mostly dominates him before laying him out with the spinebuster! He then tags in Tully!
Inside the ring Tully Blanchard hits Jeff Hardy with a delayed knee drop before making the cover. He only gets a two count however before he is pulled out by the leg by Steve Corino! This causes Arn Anderson to chase "Mr. Wrestling" back to the Omega corner. Meanwhile in the ring Blanchard goes to work on Jeff trying to get him to tap. He seems on the verge several times, but refuses to give in. Finally Blanchard pulls his rival up to his feet and hits him with a slingshot suplex before tagging in Scott Taylor!
The former "Superstar" goes up top and hits a double high-impact chop drop on Jeff! He hooks the leg! 1!... 2!... Hardy just kicks out! He's looking in a bad way as Taylor begins working on him when Steve Corino distracts referee Danny Davis and Matt Hardy rushes in to make the save! Grabbing Taylor from behind Matt hits him hard with a side Russian legsweep! Jeff, still dazed hurries to his corner and makes the tag while Danny orders Matt back to his corner.
And Steve Corino is in the ring! The Omega Horsemen's leader has a particular grudge to settle with Taylor for knocking him out with a steel chair last week. He's out to hurt Scott and does works over his head and legs. He hits him with a sitout mat slam, a lariat; and traps him in the Cobra Clutch but doesn't seem to be in a rush to get the pin. He seems to think he's "The Nature Boy" as he brutalizes Corino with several Flair-style chops and even struts about the ring a bit bringing a "Wooo!" from the audience. Scott Taylor is standing dazed before him and he points to Arn Anderson mockingly as he finishes his protegee off with the superkick! But Scott ducks the kick the last second!
And he rallies back! Scott nails the former Champ with several dropkicks and whipping him into the ropes hits a flapjack! He signals for the high-impact chop drop and looks to go up top when Jason Venom enters and takes his head off with a clothesline! The ref doesn't see it as The Hardy Boyz are running interference and Jason hops back out of the ring while Steve Corino scrambles for the cover! 1!...
But as he hops down Jason Venom receives a surprise of his own as he is spun about and finds himself face to face with Barry Windham?! 2!...Windham hoists Venom off his feet and bodyslams him into the steel steps!! Thre--! Scott Taylor kicks out! The arena has come unglued as a frustrated Steve Corino staggers to his feet and grabs Taylor by the legs and locks in the figure four! Scott howls in pain! Taylor is fighting it but his hand is hovering dangerously close to the mat! It's looking like a repeat on June when Scott Taylor grits his teeth and flips "Mr. Wrestling" over! He's reversed the figure four on Steve Corino! It's the former Champ's turn to suffer, but he's refusing to submit! Arn and Tully are brawling with the Hardy Boyz on the outside while Windham puts the boots to Venom! And Corino taps!! Scott Taylor has defeated Steve Corino! Matt and Jeff have took off to the back while Arn, Tully; and Barry join Scott Taylor in the ring to celebrate his huge win tonight.Match: William Regal vs. Dick Murdoch Dick Murdoch's tag-team partner Junkyard Dog gets a Title shot late tonight and it's obvious from the second S.D. Jones starts the match he wants one too. He really takes the fight to the Eastern States Champ William Regal who took a beating from the Tag Champs Blitzkrieg and Aryan von Raschke last week. It shows as he's slower than usual and seems on the ropes most of the match as "Captain Redneck" focuses on his head, getting a nearfall when he hit Regal with a Brainbuster. Sir William isn't going down without a fight however and gives as good as he gets until suddenly two men rush into the ring and lay them out with a double clothesline!
Murdoch still has his wits about him and rolls from the ring in a daze. Inside he sees just who hit them as Jones calls for the bell declaring in a No Contest. It's "The Ring Master" Matt Borne and "Mad Dog" Luna Vachon the Women's Champ! They're soon joined by the rest of the Circus of Doom and Pogo the Clown pulls Regal up to his knees by his head while Borne gets in his face and tells him he hasn't forgiven or forgotten the fact Sir William got him fired back in July. In fact he's had quite the grudge burning in his belly. And that's why he and the Circus of Doom are going to make it their mission to turn Regal's life into a living Hell. And strip him of his Title! He then hoists Regal up into a seated position onto his shoulders with Pogo's help and performs a running powerbomb onto the top turnbuckle! Regal is out cold as The Circus of Doom stand victorious over their fallen foe. Back from break ECW Correspondent Terri Runnels is with "The Doctor of Style" Slick and his men Brickhouse Brown and Butch Reed. The Reverend tells us he's tired of the "fans" and other "managers" saying Slick don't care about his men. How he's letting "The Man of the Hour" wrestle hurt. That's bull. Of course he cares about his brothers Butch and Brickhouse. Which is why he took Brown to the clinic. And check it. Check out what The Slickster's got. He reaches into his jacket and "BAM!" Bam baby! A bill of clean health. He knew Brickhouse was a'ight. Ain't that right Brown? Brown? Brickhouse who's been staring off into space and muttering something under his breath seems suddenly bewildered and asks "What boss?" Tag-Team Title Match: The Ubermensch vs. Brickhouse Brown & Butch Reed Despite some interference from The Baron Von Raschke, Brickhouse Brown and Butch Reed are doing well against the Tag-Team Champs; keeping Aryan von Raschke isolated and get a two count following a swinging neckbreaker from Brown and a double underhook suplex from "Hacksaw" gets them a near three. Aryan however hangs in there and with help from The Blitzkrieg turns the tables on Butch Reed; sending him reeling with a superkick! "Hacksaw" doesn't go down however and takes Aryan down by surprise with a short arm clothesline before making he hot tag to Brown! Only Brickhouse Brown isn't there! He's walking about in a daze up the ramp! He's exchanging high fives with the crowd?! Butch Reed doesn't seem to know or like what he's seeing when "Mangler's Monster" who's now the legal man grabs him by the arm and violently swings him into the Ubermensch corner where Aryan Von Rascke goes airborne with a missile dropkick to the face! Butch's lights are out as The Blitzkrieg makes the cover and picks up the win from Danny Davis. Slick is pissed and crumpling his hat in his hands hurls it on the ground. Okerlund and Poffo welcome us back from the last commercial break of the evening. They then hype tonight's main event which will see ECW Champion "Ravishing" Rick Rude defend the Title against the Junkyard Dog! They discuss Rude's reign as Champion so far, having won the Title back on September 26th from Steve Corino at Old School Rulz as well as the challenger Junkyard Dog's defeat of then Champ Corino just one week before the Big Event in a non-Title match. But they mostly discuss Rude and JYD's vicious feud earlier in the year which culminated in an Off the Chain Match at Viking Hall on February 8th. A match that many contend is the bloodiest and most brutal in ECW history with The Dog forcing "The Ravishing One" to give up. "Another One Bites the Dust" by Queen then plays as The Junkyard Dog appears on the ramp rattling his chain and barking at the fans.
Gertner: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and is for the Eastern Heavyweight Championship! Introducing first the challenger weighing in at 280 lbs. he is JYD, The Junkyard Dog!
JYD is loving the spotlight as he comes down to the ring and poses for the fan on the second rope as he barks at the crowd. Inside the ring he talks to referee S.D. Jones as Rick Rude's strip theme plays and he comes out on the ramp and gives the ladies a little dance. He has the Title around his waist under his robe.
Gertner: And now introducing his opponent from Robbinsdale, Minnesota weighing 251 lbs. he is the ECW Champion "Ravishing" Rick Rude!ECW Title Match: Rick Rude vs. Junkyard Dog The Junkyard Dog isn't getting any younger and probably doesn't have many Title shots left. He seems to realize this and pulls out all the stops in this all-out brawl with the ECW Champ Rick Rude who he hits with a shoulderbreaker midway through the match for a two count. Rude gives JYD a tough fight and really punishes the old grappler at several points throughout the match. Rick is pissed about getting choked out, having visible chain marks on his neck; and lets the Dog know it by concentrating on JYD's neck with several headlocks and a swinging neckbreaker that Junkyard just manages to kick out of. The two men battle back and forth with the fight spilling out to the ringside floor. Rude nearly doesn't make it back inside after JYD whips him into a set of steel steps which clatter apart. Not done he places the stairs on top of Rude's chest, climbs onto the apron and delivers a diving stomp driving the steel into his opponent!
"The Ravishing One" is out of it for a bit, but refuses to keep the belt via Count Out. He slides back in at 9 only to be stomped out by The Dog. Rick Rude recovers from the attack however and works over his opponent before locking in another rear headlock. JYD begins to fade! Rude torques the neck really working Junkyard over; but JYD begins to rally and the fans who've been behind him the entire match begin cheering him on! Junkyard Dog battles his way up to his feet and cracks Rude in the head with a backward headbutt! He busts the Champ open! Rude stumbles back dazed as JYD swings about and cracks him with another headbutt, this time busting himself open! He scooper Rude up off his feet and lays him out with the Thump! front powerslam! He makes the cover! 1!... 2!...
Rick Rude kicks out! The fans boo but JYD keeps on top of him! "The Ravishing One" is in full retreat when he pops up and leaps over Junkyard who's charged him; and connects with a sunset flip! He gets a two but The Dog kicks out! Both men scramble to their feet brawling as they get there, but Rick manages to turn the course of the match with an elbow strike to the face and hits a suplex! Junkyard doesn't stay down long enough for the Champ to make the cover, but he's unable to mount a lasting defense from that point on and Rick Rude ends up putting the Junkyard Dog down with the Rude Awakening delayed hangman's neckbreaker! Jones is quick to give Rude his Title and raise his hand in victory as the...
Light go out and voodoo drums begin to play?! The arena fills with mist as Papa Shango appears in the ring?!! Rick Rude doesn't know what to make of it and turns right into a kick to the gut from "The Soul Stealer!" Something seems different about him, but it's hard to tell in the dark lighting as he hoists Rude up onto his shoulder and dropping him connects with the inverted shoulderbreaker!!! The ECW Champ is down and out as Papa Shango stands victorious as the...
Lights Fade.
