8-1-95 - Ross Sports Center Winooski Park, VT"Mean" Gene Okerlund and "The Genius" Lanny Poffo welcome us to the Ross Sports Center in Winooski Park, Vermont for another exciting edition of Eastern Championship Wrestling! They then briefly dicuss last week's show with ECW Champion Steve Corino introducing his faction known as the Omega Horsemen, consisting of himself, The Hardy Boyz and newcomer to ECW Jason Venom. This starts them talking about the Main Event which Okerlund puts over as a fantastic match between Steve and Arn Anderson until of course that snake Corino ended early with a steel chair shot to the head of "The Enforcer" A cowardly move accoding to Okerlund. Lanny however says it was a stroke of "Genius." Arn had the Champ in a bad way up until then and call it what you will; but Steve Corino left the Nassau Coliseum STILL the Eastern Heavyweight Champ.
They then hype tonight's card which will see the Eastern States Title defended and Inter-Promotional Champion Chris Jericho will also put his belt on the line when he faces Mexican legend Cien Caras! Also in tonight's big Main Event which is a result of the Matt Hardy vesus Buck Zumhoff match from last week. After the "Rock 'N Roller" put Hardy away for the count, he was attacked by both members of the Hardy Boyz. Buck looked in a bad way when the team of Sexton Hardcastle and Joe E. Legend rushed in to make the save. Tonight Legend and Hardcastle with Zumhoff in their corner will meet the Hardy Boyz in Tag-Tean action with their leader ECW Champ Steve Corino in theirs!Joel Gertner makes the intros for the first match of the night. Eastern States Championship Match: The Blitzkrieg vs. Doug Gilbert There's not much to say about this one. "The Redneck Rebel" Doug Gilbert does his best to stay in the match, but while the Baron Von Raschke cheers him on from ringside The Blitzkrieg gets most of the offense in before finishing Gilbert off with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. He makes the cover and S.D. Jones makes the count; with "Mangler's Monster" retaining the Eastern States Title. Poffo and Okerlund both put him over as unstoppable. ECW correspondent Terri Runnels is with the Eastern Tag-Team Champions The Lawlers whom she's asking about their Title reign which will soon eclipse that of The New Orient Express. Jerry Lawler says that since winning the belts from the Express they've faced all the tough competition here at Eastern Championship. Slick's gang, Von Raschke's Ubermensch, the Bayou Boys, Destruction Inc., the list goes on. But in every encounter The Lawlers have beaten the odds and retained their Titles. And as everyone in this business knows, winning a Title is easy, keeping it is the hard part. So he's proud that in a few weeks him and his son Brian Lawler will be able to call themselves the longest reigning Tag-Team Champs in ECW history. Brian then comes in and says that he's proud as well. Not only to be the tag Champs and soon the longest team to hold the belts; but to get the honor to do so with his own father; wrestling legend Jerry "The King" Lawler.Match: Jerry lawler vs. Rhino We learn during this match that Mongo Vyle injured his ankle two weeks ago during Destruction Inc.'s tag match with Dreamer & Rhodes two weeks ago which is why tonight's match has been switched to a single's match. He isn't on crutches but is limping a bit at ringside. "The Man-Beast" Rhino however is in top form and takes the fight right to Jerry Lawler whom he hits with a flapjack, a running powerslam; and a superplex off the top getting a two count each time. "The King" however refuses to stay down and gives as good as he gets, tossing Rhino with a belly to back suplex and nailing him to the mat with a brainbuster. "The Man-Beast however" shows some amazing resiliency however and kicks out of both moves. The end comes when Jerry Lawler fights his way out of the sharpshooter and retreats to the corner where Rhino sets him up for The Gore striking spear! "The King" sides steps it however letting his opponent crash into the corner and drops him with a clothesline before heading up top and leaping off connects with the Flying Fist Drop! Davis makes the count and raises Lawler's hand after a hard fought victory. Before the match Ivory comes to the ring with her newly won Women's Championship and informs us that she's done what she told us she would by taking the belt from "Mad Dog" Luna Vachon and becoming the ECW Women's Champ. However that was only one-half of her mission. Because the Women's division could still use some cleaning up. That there alot of undesirables still hanging about looking to sully her Title reign. And her purging this division to bring us only the best in Women wrestlers in the world starts tonight.Match: Ivory vs. La Diabolica La Diabolica makes Ivory eat her words a bit by giving her some stiff competition with her high flying offense, taking her down with a hurrancanrana before going up top and hitting her with a flying crossbody for a two count from referee S.D. Jones. Ivory is no sluch however and dominates Diabolica in the second half before putting her away with the Poison Ivory sitout facebuster. After the match she grabs the masked woman and pulls off her mask! La Diabolica screams in anger, but quickly covers her face while Ivory laughs at her opponent. She throws the mask down in the ring before leaving with her Title and we see Diabolica groping about on the floor looking for it as ECW goes to...When ECW returns from break Lanny and Gene remind us that next week's show will be coming to us live from the Edward Leede Arena in Hanover, New Hampshire. Lanny claims New Hampshire is also known as Parts Unknown because nobody wants it known they're from such a classless, insignifcant state. Okerlund apologizes for Poffo again before telling us that while tickets for the show are sold out, those folks at home can tune in right here as usual on TNN The Nashville Network; ECW's homs station. They then hype this next match as a rematch between the Inter-Promotional Champion Chris Jericho and AAA's Cien Caras. They tell us about how their match in Mexico was cut short due to the appearance of a mysterious man on the big screen harrassing Jericho. They try to guess who the man might be, but Chris makes so many enemies; it could be virtually anyone. They then tout Cien Caras as a true legend in Mexico and say it's an honor to have him here in ECW tonight.Inter-Promotional TItle Match: Chris Jericho vs. Cien Caras Cien Caras comes out first and shakes hands with referee S.D. Jones before "The Long Island Loud-Mouth" shows up with the Inter-Promotional Title draped over his shoulders while wearing a sombrero and poncho. He's weilding maracas; which he shakes mockingly in the face of Caras. Cien laughs and turns about to the fans, but then charges back at Chris and kicks him back toward the ropes! He proceeds to grab the sombrero and smacks Jericho with it before kicking him while he's down. Tossing the hat from the ring, he whips the "Loud-Mouth" and takes him back down with a jumping knee strike to the gut.
Chris uses the ropes to get back to his feet, but after mugging for the crowd a bit Cien Caras is right back on top of him working the Champ over. Chris however begins to fight back and getting up to one knee begins trading punches with Caras and is soon back up. He knocks Cien down to his knees and begins hammering on him before pulling off the poncho he's wearing and begins choking his opponent out! S.D. Jones is quickly on top of the situation however and grabs the poncho while yelling at Chris. This allows Caras to retaliate with a low blow from behind! The ref didn't see anything as Cien Caras rolls Chris up! Jones is to busy tossing the puncho from the ring however and the boss of bosses only gets a two.
Caras however keeps on top of Jericho and works him over for a bit before whipping him into the ropes and connects with another knee strike. He goes for another, but Chris blocks it and takes him down with an armdrag! He then runs at Caras, but hes drops down allows Jericho to run past him and popping back up whips Chris into the ropes. Jericho however reverses and charging in clotheslines Cien out of the ring! Cien Caras looks to catch a breather on the outside, but "The Long Island Loud-Mouth" isn't having it and leaps out of the ring at him with a suicide dive! It truly proves suicidal as Caras moves out of the way and helps Chris along right into the steel guardrail! He uses the steel barricade to work Jericho over a bit, but eventually Chris blocks him and the two men begin brawling about ringside before Cien escapes into the ring. Jericho follows him only to get hit with a running high knee which Caras follows up with an Irish whip into the opposite corner. Cien charges in, but Chris hops over him and grabbing him behind back rolls into a roll up! 1!... 2!...
Caras kicks out! Chris then grabs Caras by the legs and attempts to flip him over into the elevated Boston Crab! Cien however fights it tooth and nail, clawing at the mat. But Chris gets it! Cien screams in pain, but luckily makes it to the ropes where Jones breaks the hold. Jericho is pissed and argues with Jones for a bit before pulling Caras up to his feet, but Cien puts on the stops and pulls Chris in for a knee strike. He then puts the boots to Chris before pulling him up and throws him into the turnbuckle where he works him over. He beats him about the ring before locking in the full nelson! Jericho struggles in the hold and attempts to fight his way out. Caras does his best, keeping him down for a good while before Chris battles back up to his feet and flips Cien over him onto his back and as a stunned Caras pops back up Chris lets him have it with a stranding drop kick. With Cien Caras down Chris Jericho runs to the ropes and hits the springboard moonsault! 1!... 2!...
Cien nearly kicks out, but Jericho throws his feet up onto the second rope for leverage! 3! And Jericho has stolen one. He doesn't care though and seems rather pleased with himself as he grabs his Inter-Promotional Title. Just then however the big screen comes on...And the mysterious man's image once again appears. It's silent and Jericho screams at it for a bit when finally it utters just one word... "Jericho..."Tag-Team Match: Butch Reed & Brickhouse Brown vs. Deep South Dick Murdoch starts things off with Brickhouse Brown as Danny Davis starts the match. Both teams get in plenty of offense with Slick being a royal pain in the ass at ringside. This nearly spells disaster for "Captain Redneck" when he pulls "The Doctor of Style" into the ring and tossing him to JYD begins pummeling him. Brown looks to make the save with a dropkick, but Dick ducks it and Brickhouse takes out Slick and the Dog instead! Murdoch quickly capitalizes with a Brain Buster on Brown. 1!... 2!... Brickhouse kicks out! He battles his way back and eventually Dick tags out to Junkyard Dog! JYD comes in swinging and works Brickhouse Brown over for a bit, hitting him with the Thump! front powerslam. But Butch Reed makes the save and gets himself tagged him. Him and Junkyard then battle it out for a bit with Reed getting the better of JYD whom he begins mauling until The Dog hits him with a massive headbutt! While "Hacksaw" is still a bit dazed JYD tags in Dick Murdoch who goes up top and comes down hard on a surprised Butch Reed with a bionic elbow and making the cover picks up the big win. After the break ECW correspondent Terri Runnels with with ECW Light Heavyweight Champ Buck Zumhoff, Joe E. Legend, Sexton Hardcastle; and Tiffany. Buck does nearly all the talking telling Terri how he was thankful for Hardcastle and Legend coming out to make the save last week when those punks The Hardy Boyz attacked him. He saw what the Omega Horsemen are capable of. What they did to "Macho Man" two weeks ago. He says they're sore losers and can only pull off a win when they're cheating; when the side are in their favor. Well tonight the Hardy Boyz are going to be out of their element. Because tonight they'll be facing the team of Hardcastle and Legend; Sex and Violence. And in their corner tonight is gonna be "Rock 'N Roll!"Back from break we see a promo with Sir William Regal who's done up in his British refinery. He says that since coming to ECW he's been undefeated in single combat. And now that he's done away with that buffoon Doink the Clown once and for all he's ready to set his sights a bit higher. Which is why if he were a betting man he'd wager that before long; we're all going to see a Championship Title around the waist of our favorite English nobleman, Sir William Regal.Match: William Regal vs. Yoshihiro Tajiri w/Mr. Fuji William Regal and Yoshihiro Tajiri beat the hell out of one another in this match officiated by S.D. Jones. "The Japanese Buzzsaw" pulls out all the stops using his handspring back elbow, the Shining Wizard; and bridging dragon suplex during the course of the match while Regal counters with an exploder suplex, a bridged German; and the Regal double underhook powerbomb! Neither man will stay down long however and Sir William gets a nasty surprise when he's locked into the Tarantula! Tajiri drops him just before he's disqualified and hopping up onto the rope with cat-like agility he leaps onto a just recovering Regal with a hurrancanra pin! 1!... 2!... William kicks out! Tajiri keeps on top of him, but William Regal rallies back and ducking a roundhouse kick takes Tajiri down with a leg sweep before locking in the Regal Stretch arm trap cross-legged STF! Tajiri attempts to fight out, but after a while can no longer take the pressure and taps giving Regal the win.Okerlund and Poffo welcome us back from the last commercial break of the evening before hyping tonight's Main Event. They talk about last week's show during which The Hardy Boyz attacked Light Heavyweight Champion "Rock 'N Roll" Buck Zumhoff after he defeated Matt. They were on him like wolves until in rushed the team known as Sex & Violence; Sexton Hardcastle and Joe E. Legend who's they're set to face right here tonight!
Gertner: The following tag-team contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first team hailing from Canada, weighing a total of 493 lbs.; and accompaned to the ring by ECW Light Heavyweight Champion Buck Zumhoff and the lovely Ms. Tiffany; they are the team of Sexton Hardcastle and Joe E. Legend!
Hardcastle and Legend hit the ring for their first match together in ECW accompanied to Zumhoff's "Rock You Like a Hurricane" entrance music. They have a heavy metal gimmick and pose for the fans as if they're a couple of rock stars while Zumhoff does his best to get the fans behind them. It isn't hard as the audience have grown to hate the next duo over th past couple of weeks. Especially their leader who comes out first with the ECW Championship slung over his shoulder.
Gertner: And now introducing their opponents weighing in at a combined 450 lbs. from Cameron, North Carolina and accompanied to the ring by ECW Heavyweight Champion "Mr. Wrestling" Steve Corino and Jason Venom; they are Matt and Jeff; The Hardy Boyz!Main Event Tag-Team Match: The Hardy Boyz w/ Corino & Venom vs. Sex & Violence w/ Buck & Tiffany The team of Sexton Hardcastle and Joe E. Legend go right after the Hardy Boyz causing Danny Davis to call for the bell early, starting the match. Matt and Jeff aren't going to take that lying down however and when Sex & Violence attempt a double Irish whip, they both reverse it and dropkick their opponents from the ring! Buck Zumhoff hurries to help the duo out while inside the ring the Hardys rile up the crowd who boo them. Matt then drops down on all fours as his brother Jeff runs and uses him as a springboard to leap over the top rope onto the trio with a suicide dive! Jeff pops back into the ring where he and Matt pose for the angry crowd who only get more heated when Steve Corino begins showing off the ECW Title. Davis restores some order here and Joe E. Legend ends up starting inside the ring with Jeff Hardy.
The two men size one another up for a bit before locking up. Legend uses his superior size to drive Hardy back into the corner where he workds Jeff over before whipping him across the ring. Joe charges in, but Jeff leapfrogs Legend and attempts to counter with an armdrag. Joe is unmoved however until Jeff back kicks him in the gut and flipping backward takes Joe over with an armdrag anyway. Keeping on top of him Jeff grabs Legend by the arm and locks in an armwrench. Legend however flips out to reverse it! Joe doesn't have control for long however as Jeff rolls and flips to reverse the wrench once more before tagging his brother Matty Hardy in who goes up top and comes down on Legend with a double axe-handle. The Hardy Boyz utilize quick tags as they work Legend over together while Corino claps them on on the outside. Joe however escapes catching Matt with an uppercut, momentarily stunning him while he tags in Sexton Hardcastle who walks right into an armdrag!
Matt locks in an armbar immediately and has Hardcastle screaming in pain. Fighting his way up to his feet, Sexton drives Hardy back toward the ropes where he chokes Matt up against it! The fans love it and so does Buck Zumhoff who casually wandering over to them slugs Matt in the face! This angers Corino and the two begin jawjacking on the outside. With Matt still hung on the ropes, Sexton runs the ropes and leaps on the back of Matt's head choking him against the ropes. When he does it a second time however, Hardy moves treating Hardcastle to a crotch full of ropes! And as Sexton reels from the blow, Matt grabs him and delivers an inverted atomic drop! Hardcastle grabs his groin in pain as he staggers about the ring and gets taken down by a trio of clotheslines from Matt! After the third Hardcastle smartens up and instead of getting back up a fourth time; rolls his ass out of the ring.
Unfortunately for him however the ECW Champ Steve Corino is waiting for him and begins hammering on him! Joe E. Legend looks to make the save, but big Jason Venom gets in his way and grabbing him throws him down to the floor! He doesn't see Zumhoff come from the other direction however and the "Rock 'N Roller" lays into a stunned Corino. The announcers remind us that this isn't the first time Buck and Corino have been at odds, having had several altercations last year as well. Sexton Hardcastle staggers up to his feet and slides back into the ring amid the chaos as referee Davis gets to an eight count. Him and Matt lock up and soon are throwing punches around the ring when Joe E. Legend returns to their corner and is quickly tagged in.
Matt Hardy catches Legend in a front headlock, but Joe pushes him forward into the ropes and on the rebound drops down as Matt runs past. As Hardy returns however, Legend kip ups and in one fluid motion takes his opponent down with a leaping clothesline! He gets a little cocky afterward and struts around a bit before lifting Matt up to his feet and whipping him across the ring. He ducks to early and gets a boot in the face for his trouble while Matt tags out to his brother Jeff Hardy who goes up top and connects with a somersault legdrop onto the still dazed Legend! He makes the cover! 1!... 2!...
Sexton Hardcastle runs in and makes the save! Soon Matt is back in the ring and all four men brawl about for a bit. Danny restores order again and Joe E. Legend gives his partner a hug in thanks. Aww. This gives Jeff Hardy enough time to run over and dropkick them both out to the floor. With both men down he climbs up the turnbuckle, waits for them to get up to their feet and somersaults out to the floor! All three men go down hard and Jeff up first cockily bows for the hissing crowd. Which leads to him getting dropkicked from behind by Buck Zumhoff who sends Hardy crashing into the announcer's desk! Buck instructs Legend to get back in the ring while he does a little dancing for the appreciative crowd. When he turns back to cheer on his team however, he gets a face full of gold courtesy of Steve Corino who smashes him over the head with the Heavyweight Title! Zumhoff is out cold. Jeff Hardy meanwhile slides into the ring at nine and catches a baseball slide to the chin courtesy of the now legal Sexton Hardcastle who makes the cover. 1!... 2!
Jeff kicks out! Sexton looks to keep on top of Hardy by hammering his back and chest, but Jeff slaps him away with both hands and hits him with an amazing standing dropkick before tagging his brother Matt in. Matt Hardy puts the boots to Sexton Hardcastle who he pulls up for the Twist of Fate cutter! On the outside Joe E. Legend looks to enter the ring, but he's pulled back out by Jason Venom who lifts him up onto his shoulders and slams him through the broadcast table with a running powerbomb! Inside Matt has Hardcastle down and tags in Jeff Hardy who goes up top and leaping off hits the Senton bomb onto Sexton and makes the cover. And it's over.
Lights Fade.

8-8-95 - Edward Leede Arena Hanover, NH"Mean" Gene Okerlund and "The Genius" Lanny Poffo welcome us to the Edward Leede Arena for another exciting edition of Eastern Championship Wrestling! They recap last week's show including The Blitzkrieg retaining the Title against Doug Gilbert; but focus mainly on the Main Event which saw the Hardy Boyz with ECW Champion Steve Corino defeat the fledgling team of Sex & Violence who had the Light Heavyweight Champ "Rock 'N Roll" Buck Zumhoff in their corner. Lanny says this only proves how stupid these two young men are, relying on ol' Dumbhoff to have their backs.
They then begin hyping tonight's card which will include another Inter-Promotional Title match for Chris Jericho as he defends the belt against ACW's own "Man from Snow Mountain" Wolf Hawkfield! Also "Mr. Wednesday Night" Rob Van Dam will be in action as will "Rugged" Ronnie garvin. They're then cut off when the song "Fire" by Scooter hits and the Eastern Heavyweight Champion Steve Corino steps from the back with the belt draped over his shoulder. He is followed closely by The Hardy Boyz and Jason Venom as he heads down to the ring. The audience begins hissing and booing them.Corino seems unphased by this and entering the ring says that he can understand the audience's confusion here tonight. That it must be hard to wrap their teeny, tiny minds around the fact that they are finally witnessing a rarity in this business. A Heavyweight Champion who can actually wrestle. Not some 8 foot tall giant who can barely move. No, the poor, malcontent whiners that ECW call fans have to settle for "Mr. Wrestling" himself; Steve Corino. A man who's got it all. Natural charisma, natural integrity; and of course the natural ability to back up his claims.
Before you stands the Omega Horsemen. A group destined for greatness. A group that will not let anything stand in their way to become the greatest wrestlers in the history of this business. A group that has no problem with coming out here night after night destroying the relics of yesterday to bring this very business into the future. Whether it's "Macho Man" Randy Savage, "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson; or even everyone's favorite clown "Rock 'N Roll" Buck Zumhoff; we'll step over the corpses of yesterday to prove that the four men in this ring are the very thing you already know we are. The future of wrestling.Steve looks like he's ready to shut up with "Rock You Like a Hurricane" by The Scorpions hits and with his boombox hoisted up on his shoulders and the Light Heavyweight Title around his waist; out comes "Rock 'N Roll" Buck Zumhoff with Tiffany and his new friends; the team of Sexton Hardcastle and Joe E. Legend! According to "The Genius" Corino looks flabbergasted. He does look a bit stunned.
Zumhoff says that while last week Steve Corino may have taken Buck down; he's not out. And he might add, he only went down when a certain "Mr. Wrestling" had to go and use a steel chair! But that seems par for the course doesn't it. Because all he's seen is Steve Corino cheat to get what he wants from day one. Whether it was the way he made his way to the semi-Finals of the tournament last year or winning the Heavyweight Title this year, every action Steve has made has been underhanded at best. Except for maybe... last year on September 21st of last year at Hotter Than Hell. Picture if you will in one corner "Mr. Wrestling" Steve Corino. In the other corner was "The Rock 'N Roller" himself, current Light Heavyweight Champion Buck Zumhoff. They battle it out. Both men bring it. But in the end; when the Eastern Heavyweight Champion Steve Corino goes for a superkick? Well Buck Zumhoff caught it! And he nailed Steve with a superkick! And he pinned him in that very ring for the 1-2-3!
Steve Corino is now livid. Among the things fit for print he claims that that didn't count because that so-called official, Danny Davis distracted him. That he could pin Buck Zumhoff any day of the damned week, any hour of the day. And he'll beat him so bad that he'll have to go back to his unoffical name he had in the WWF. Jobber.
Buck laughs at this. And he says that Steve Corino might be right. That maybe he can beat him anytime, anywhere; but the fact remains that last year at the Nassau Coliseum the Light Heavyweight Champ did the impossible and pinned the Heavyweight Champ. And if "Mr. Wrestling" Steve Corino is any kind of a Champ he won't let that stand. And to prove he won't he'll get into that ring to night and face him one on one. But he'd better be ready. Cause lightning is gonna strike twice here tonight in Hanover, New Hamphsire when ol' Buck Zumhoff "Rock 'N Rolls" all over this arena and puts the ECW Champ down for the count!
Corino still looks pissed as he shakes his head in agreement. Lanny thinks Buck may have bit off more than he can chew here tonight. Okerlund isn't so sure.Joel Gertner makes the intros for he first match of the nightMatch: Steve Blackman vs. Brickhouse Brown Captain Lou Albano and Slick seem to think they're having the match out here tonight as they get in one another's faces and involved in the match on more than one occasion much to the chagrin of referee S.D. Jones. Albano even gets some ringtime when Slick distracts Jones to give Brickhouse Brown some more time choking Steve Blackman out on the top rope and "The Captain" hops in to make the save pulling Brown off, throwing him into the corner and softening him up a bit with a couple punches to the gut. The battle between Brickhouse and "The Silent Assassin" goes back and forth with neither man having the clear advantage until Steve Blackman hits Brickhouse Brown with a Fisherman's suplex which he bridges to pick up the win. After the macth we cut to a promo with The Baron Von Raschke, his son Aryan and the Eastern States Champion The Blitzkrieg! As usual The Baron does most of the talking telling us how his men are poised to dominate ECW. How for the past six monts under his guidance "Mangler's Monster;" The Blitzkrieg has held the Eastern States Title, dominating the competition, crushing all opposition; and grinding the bones of his opponents into the dust from which they came. And now with his son Aryan Von Raschke they will continue to take the Tag-Team division by storm. And unlike those boys of Slick's, his men won't be handed Title shots. No when The Ubermensch get their chance and go on to destroy The Lawlers; wrestling their belts from their unconscious bodies; they will do it the old-fashioned way. By earning them. And to prove this tonight they're going to do what Slick and his cronies couldn't last week by defeating Deep South!Tag-Team Match: The Ubermensch vs. Deep South Danny Davis starts up the match with Aryan von Raschke and Junkyard Dog in the ring. There's some trash talk initially but JYD has enough and lets Aryan have it. The two men brawl about the ring with Von Rachke giving Junkyard a really hard time, nearly getting the three count early with a roll-up he calls the Kaiser Roll. He is in a bit of trouble after The Dog clobbers him with a clothesline, but fights back and turns things around after a German suplex. He dominates Junkyard Dog for a bit before getting cocky (and stupid) by getting into his opponent's face and belittling with with a slap or three across the face. JYD isn't having it and sends Aryan reeling with a massive headbutt! Grabbing Von Raschke from behind he hits the atomic drop before tagging in Dick Murdoch. Together they whip the young Raschke across the ring before nailing him with a double Thump! Powerslam. "The Captain" makes the cover, but Aryan kicks out at three. From there Dick hands Aryan a beating and nearly picks up the win with a Brain Buster. Von Raschke however hangs in there and when Murdoch comes in with a running clothesline while he's hung up on the ropes, Aryan gets his legs up kicking "Captain Redneck" in the jaw before making the hot tag to The Blitzkrieg! The Eastern States Champion enters the ring and tears Dick Murdoch apart. To his credit Dick doesn't back down and gets in some offense. But after kicking out of a clothesline and a big boot, Murdoch is in bad shape and only due to Junkyard Dog coming to the rescue is he able to tag out. JYD doesn't fair much better however and though he does drop The Blitzkrieg with a heabutt followed by a bulldog off the top, he barely gets the one count before The Monster hurls him off. From there The Blitzkrieg seems enraged and works over The Dog before tagging in a desperate Aryan Von Raschke. From there they debut their new finisher where Aryan goes up top and delivers a missile dropkick at the same time The Blitzkrieg sends Junkyard Dog running straight into it with an Irish whip! Aryan makes the cover and it's over.Match: Luna Vachon vs. Tiffany "Mad Dog" Luna Vachon doesn't seem her usual self tonight as referee S.D. Jones starts up the match. She seems a bit distant and is slower than usual. Okerlund attributes this to the loss of both her Title and her... well whatever her relationship to Doink the Clown is/was. Lanny says Gene must really be a regular Sherlock Holmes after all for figuring that one out. Okerlund tells him to "Can it Watson." Inside the ring meanwhile Tiffany brings her A game and after some back and forth she hits the Iconoclasm off the top to score an upset win here.Lanny and Gene then welcome us back from the break before reminding us that next week's show will be coming to us live from the Augusta Civic Center in Augusta, Maine. They tell us that while tickets are sold out for that show, those who missed out should join us right here on ECW's home station of TNN The Nashville Network! They then hype the next match which could be a Main Event anywhere as "The Long Island Loud-Mouth" Inter-Promotional Champ Chris Jericho is set to take on American Championship Wrestling's very own former American TV Champion; "The Man from Snow Mountain" Wolf Hawkfield!Match: Chris Jericho vs. Wolf Hawkfield It's quite apparent there're quite a few ACW fans in attendance as Wolf Hawkfield gets a big pop as he emerges from the back. Chris Jericho also has his fan, but a good number of critics too who boo him even more when he comes to the ring sporting Hawkfield's war paint and dancing around like an Indian while carrying the Inter-Promotional belt down to the ring. "The Man from Snow Mountain" isn't impressed with Chris' antics however and when Danny Davis starts the match Wolf flattents him with the Cyber Spear and makes the cover! 1!... 2!...
Chris kicks out! Jericho looks like he just get done run over as he sits up all goofy eyed. And Wolf is far from done with him, battering his head in with a barrage of fists before lifting him to his feet and whipping him across the ring before going for a second Cyber Spear! This time however Chris connects with a sunset flip! 1!... 2! Hawkfield kicks out! Both men pop back up, but Wolf has the edge and gives Chris a good working over before powerbombing him to the floor and attempting to pin him with the Steel Trap. Chris gets his shoulder up and continues to take a beating until Wolf whips him across the ring and Jericho reverses! And on the rebound he takes Wolf down with a diving clothesline! Leaping on top of his opponent Chris begins hammering away before pulling him up for a backbreaker. Wolf is hurt but refuses to stay down as Jericho traps him in a crossface chickenwing that would make Backlund proud. The fans begin an ACW chant for Hawfield; while the loyal ECW fans retaliate backing the Inter-Promotional Champ. Wolf grits his teeth in pain, but refuses to surrender. He rallies back fighting his way up to his feet and reverses the hold on Jericho momentarily before catching him in a headlock. He torques Jericho's neck for a bit, but the wiry "Long Island Loud-Mouth" slips free and pushes Wolf Hawkfield into the ropes; but when Jericho goes for the corkscrew kick, Wolf catches him in midair and lets the I-P Champ have it with a powerbomb! He hooks Chris' leg! 1!... 2!...
Jericho kicks out! Wolf can't believe it and grabbing Jericho up in the air queezes the life out of him a bit before tossing him back into the ropes. This proves to be a mistake as Jericho hops up backward onto the bottom rope and sends Wolf reeling back into the ropes with a springboard dropkick! Jericho is right on top of "The Man from Snow Mountain" with a barrage of punches and chops before he whips him into the ropes and chasing him down hits him with a running bulldog before he makes it to them! With Wolf down Jericho grabs his legs and locks in the elevated Boston Crab! Hawkfield screams in pain but just won't quit. With the backing of the fans he makes it to the ropes! Jericho is pissed and as Hawkfield uses the ropes to stand, he leaps on his back and begins hammering away. Hawkfield however uses his strength to send Chris flying across the ring as he pushes him away and as Chris charges back in he takes him down hard with a clothesline! He makes the cover, but Jericho kicks out at two this time. Hawkfield attempts to pin him again, this time with the Steele Trap; but Chris rakes his eyes! Hawkfield staggers off him in pain and falls to one knee as Jericho jumps up and running toward him kicks him in the face! Wolf stumbles back into the ropes, but Chris grabs him and with a yell nails Hawkfield with a double underhook powerbomb! He makes the cover and gets it! Chris once again walks away the Inter-Promotional Champion.
After the match Chris stares at the big screen for several seconds waiting for the mystery man to appear again. Nothing happens however and Jericho turns to walk away when he is caught by a third Cyber Spear from Wolf Hawkfield! The fans cheer for The Man from Snow Mountain who looks very satisfied with himself as ECW goes to... After the break ECW correspondent Terri Runnels is standing by with Mr. Fuji and his New Orient Express team of Yoshihiro Tajiri and Masato Tanaka whom she's asking about their thoughts on the fact the Lawlers will soon be surpassing their record as Tag-Team Champions of 6 months and 22 days. "The Diabolical One" says that back when they held the Titles they were burdened by the subpar efforts of Taka Michinoku otherwise they'd still be holding the belts today. However, Fuji takes all his Title reigns very, very seriously and even though the Express is now a superior fighting unit with his prized pupil Masato Tanaka at his side to compliment the amazing abilities of "The Japanese Buzzsaw" Yoshihiro Tajiri; he still does not want to see that record broken. Unless The New Orient Express themselves are the ones to do it. Which is why he's talked at length with the honorable Eric Bischoff and he has granted Fuji's request for a Tag-Team Title match in two weeks. In two weeks when the honorable men from the Rising Sun destroy the dishonorable hillbillies known as The Lawlers; crushing their hopes of becoming the longest reigning Tag-Team Champs like fortune cookie.Match: Rob Van Dam vs. Rhino w/ Mongo Vyle & Takako Inoue Rob Van Dam comes out and points to his shoulders as the fans chant his name. He is soon joined by "The Man-Beast" Rhino and the two men lock up. They have a tough match and hit several high spots including a superplex from Rhino on "Mr Wednesday Night," RVD hitting both the Tiger feint kick and the Rolling Thunder; and Rhino laying Rob seemingly outcold with a triple set of non-stop suplexes. Both men hang in there while Takako Inoue barks orders from ringside at Rhink and insults at RVD, annoying both men. Eventually it gets the better of Rob and nearly proves his undoing when he stops to exchange words with her and ends up walking into The Gore striking spear! He kicks out just before the three. The match gets even more heated toward the end when Van Dam whips Rhino out of the ring and climbing up top connects with a missile dropkick on the outside! This takes the wind out of RVD as well and gives big Mongo Vyle who's still nursing his injured foot the perfect opportunity to get a few kicks in! Van Dam takes him down with a simple legsweep. This gives "The Man-Beast" enough time to recover however and he lets Rob have it with a back body drop onto the concrete before rolling him back into the ring. Entering he goes to make the cover, but Rob grabs him by the arm with and throws him with an armdrag! Rhino hits the canvas while Van Dam kip-ups. Rhino charges him and Rob Van Dam pops up with a corkscrew kick! He makes the cover and picks up the three count from S.D. Jones. RVD celebrates posing for the crowd while Takako Inoue enters the ring furious. She begins shouting at Rhino?! This angers Rhino who begins screaming back whe Inoue holds off and slaps him! Rhino looks stunned and ready to kill her when Mongo Vyle enters. Rhino yells for him to get her under control while Vyle shrugs not sure what to do. "The Man-Beast" heads to the back without them in a rage.
After the break ECW correspondent Terri Runnels is standing by with "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson and Scott Taylor who recently got a haircut from Dick Murdoch. He seems a bit embarrassed by it and Arn tells him to quit being a girl. He then tells Terri to tell him it looks okay. She does and seems a bit taken with Taylor who doesn't know what to say in response. Arn says that him and his protegee Scott Taylor faced some tough losses these past couple of weeks, but rather than rushing right back into the thick of things he decided to take a step back. Survey the lay of the land. Now him and Steve Corino they have some serious business to settle. The way he won his Title. Even worse, the way he kept it two weeks ago. The so-called Omega Horsemen. Oh, there's going to be a reckoning. You can bet your ass on that. But first "The Enforcer" is going to warm up a bit. And he's got his sights set squarely on "Captain Redneck" Dick Murdoch. He's dealt with Murdoch before back when he was a Horseman. And he's always been a pain in the damn ass. But he wouldn't have even been put in that damned Handicap Match where he lost his Title if he and The Dog hadn't interfered with his buddy Scott and then to add insult to injury two weeks later he cheats his way through that Texas Bullrope match. Cuts off all his hair. That goes beyond being a pain in the backside. That makes Dick Murdoch a thorn. And that's why Arn Anderson has asked for a match next week. Because next week he has every intention of pulling it. Match: Ronnie Garvin vs. Mike Sharpe
"Iron" Mike Sharpe gets the jump on "Rugged" Ronnie Garvin and dominates him early on, nearly decapitating him with the running Forearm Smash! Garvin keeps out just before the three however and rallies back methodically wearing down the right arm of Canada's Greatest Athlete. The two men battle back and forth until finally "The Rugged One" locks in the rolling cross armbreaker! Sharpe growls in pain as he attempts to free himself; but eventually gives in, tapping out as referee Danny Davis calls for the bell.
Okerlund and Poffo welcome us back from the last commercial break of the evening before hyping tonight's Main Event where ECW Heavyweight Champ Steve Corino is set to face ECW's Light Heavyweight Champion "Rock 'N Roll" Buck Zumhoff. Lanny laughs about the fact the Heavyweight Champ outweighs the Ligthweight Champ by an astonishing two pounds. They then remind us of the small feud Zumhoff and Corino had last year which started when "Rock 'N Roll" was a guest of the talk show Late Night with Conan O'Brien. Toward the end of the show Steve Corino came on-stage and threw a glass of water in Buck's face. Later he mocked the "wash up children's talk show host" in an interview with PWI magazine. This led to a match between the two men at ECW's third Big Event, Hotter Than Hell. That night Buck Zumhoff pinned Corino.
Now here we are almost a year later and Steve Corino is now the ECW Champion! His colleagues the Hardy Boyz attacked Buck after a match between him a Jeff Hardy which led to the involvement of the tag-team known as Sex & Violence. Last week The Hardys and S&V met in a tag-team bout which with Steve Corino in their corner the Hardy Boyz went on to win. Also at ringside however was Buck Zumhoff in the corner of his new friends Sexton Hardcastle and Joe E. Legend. During the course of the match, Buck got into it with Steve Corino and took a chairshot to the head. Tonight they face off against one another again. A rematch almost a year after they last met inside the ring. Can Buck Zumhoff defeat Steve Corino again and avenge his friends? A win here will also earn him a shot at the ECW Title...
"Rock You Like a Hurricane" by The Scorpions hits as "Rock 'N Roll" Buck Zumhoff appears on the ramp with Tiffany by his side!
Gertner: The following non-Title contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first from Minneapolis, Minnesota weighing 220 lbs. and accompanied to the ring by the lovely Ms. Tiffany, he is the ECW Lightweight Champion; the original "Rock 'N Roller" Buck Zumhoff!
Zumhoff gets a huge pop as he enters the ring and poses for the fans before taking his Title off his waist and hands it over to referee S.D. Jones. "Fire" by Scooter then plays and Steve Corino shows up alone wearing a kinda Flairish robe. As usual he has the Title draped over his shoulder.
Gertner: And now introducing at this time his opponent weighing in at 222 lbs. from Sea Isle City, New Jersey; he calls himself "Mr. Wrestling" (even if no one else does); the Eastern Heavyweight Champion Steve Corino!
Main Event: Buck Zumhoff w/ TIffany vs. Steve Corino
Jones starts the match as Steve Corino and Buck Zumhoff lock up. Though Zumhoff has more experience and speed, Corino has size and strength taking Buck down with a snapmare before catching him in a headlock. He applies the pressure as Zumhoff battles back and catches Steve with an elbow to the face. "Mr. Wrestling" quickly recovers however and when Buck Irish whips him across the ring; Steve surprises him with a sliding lariat on the rebound taking "The Rock 'N Roller" down to the mat. Steve then does a little dance mocking both Zumhoff and the crowd before he runs back into the ropes and coming back hits Buck with a legdrop before making the cover. He gets a two count. Keeping on top of the old grappler he pounds on Zumhoff before he Rock 'N Rolls back grabbing Steve by the face and drives him into the corner. Mounting the bottom rope he pounds on Corino for the full ten before hopping up onto the top turnbuckle as the ECW Champ falls foward to the canvas. Steve is back up and leaping off Buck hits a flying crossbody on "Mr. Wrestling" before going for the cover. He gets a two count and the fans boo as Steve powers out. Lifting his opponent to his feet Buck hits Steve with several chops before whipping him across the ring and takes him down with a bulldog! Stalking his prey Zumhoff grabs Steve; but Corino grabs him and rolls him up in a small package! He gets a near three as Buck just squeezes out. Soon both men are back up and pounding on one another. Illegally raking Buck's back gets Corino the advantage and he attempts to whip Zumhoff; but "Rock 'N Roll" reverses it and takes Corino down with a sunset flip! 1!... 2!...
Corino once again kick out! Buck is noticeably frustrated and staying on top of Steve he locks in a sleeper. Corino gets to the ropes and S.D. Jones breaks them up. Pushing past Davis; Steve Corino comes at Buck with a super kick! He gets a surprise however when Buck takes him for a ride with a leg drag! The Champ hits the mat hard rolls out to his feet as Buck Zumhoff runs to the ropes and goes for the Rocking and Rolling springboard DDT! Steve Corino knows it's coming however and blocks it by pushing Buck off him and grabbing the Lightweight Champ hits him with an inverted facelock neckbreaker slam! Buck hits the ground hard and Steve hooks his leg. 1!... 2!... 3! Corino has won it!
The fans start booing and it only gets worse when the rest of the Omega Horsemen appear on the ramp. They come down and join the victorious Steve Corino who talks to them a bit and at his signal they begin to... dance?! This confuses the fans for a minute; but soon they're furious as Steve Corino redirects his attention to Buck Zumhoff and begins putting the boots to him! The Hardy Boyz and Jason Venom are quick to join in and Buck is helpless when out on the ramp appears...
Sex and Violence! Sexton Hardcastle and Joe E. Legend may've been defeated last week but they aren't intimidated by the four men in the ring. They rush down to help Zumhoff and attack them! This gives Tiffany enough time to pull Zumhoff from the ring, but on the inside the numbers game has caught up to Hardcastle and Legend who're taking a pummeling from the Omega Horsemen now. The Hardy Boyz dump Sexton out of the ring while the bigger Joe E. gets powerbombed out to the floor by the massive Jason Venom. And the...
Lights Fade.

8-15-95 - Augusta Civic Center Augusta, ME"Mean" Gene Okerlund and "The Genius" Lanny Poffo welcome us to the Augusta Civic Center in Augusta, Maine for another exciting edition of Eastern Championship Wrestling! They briefly recap last week's show which included the Inter-Promotional Champion Chris Jericho defeating ACW's Wolf Hawlkfield, Von Raschke's Ubermensch defeating Deep South; and in the Main Event ECW Champ Steve Corino defeated Lightweight Champ "Rock 'N Roll" Buck Zumhoff. And how after the match Corino's Omega Horsemen attacked Buck Zumhoff which led to an all-out brawl between the Horsemen and Buck's buddies Sex & Violence! Lanny doesn't think that assist ended in the way Sexton Hardcastle and Joe E. Legend had hoped however; getting their asses handed to them once again.
They then begin hyping tonight's show which will see Ronnie Garvin, Jerry Lawler; and "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson in action! Also tonight the I-P Champ Chris Jericho will face a new challenger to his belt when he goes one on one with the World Wide Wrestling Association's "Mr. Danger" Mitsuhiro Matsunaga! And in tonight's Main Event we'll see the Eastern Heavyweight Champion "Mr. Wrestling" Steve Corino in a non-Title match against Brian Lawler!
Joel Gertner makes the intros.Match: Ivory vs. Takako Inoue w/ Mongo Vyle Takako Inoue comes to the ring with Mongo Vyle who's still limping around a bit from his injury several weeks ago. Lanny says it's nice of Inoue to bring her gimp with her and Okerlund says that Poffo wouldn't have the stones to call Vyle that if he wasn't injured; to which Lanny replies of course not. He's a "Genius;" not an idiot Gene. The Women's Champ Ivory then shows up and referee Danny Davis starts the match. Takako Inoue doesn't really need to, but she cheats quite a bit throughout the course of the match angering the Women's Champ; especially when Mongo reaches into the ring and trips her up causing Ivory to fall down on all fours and get hit by the Takako Panic diving knee strike! Ivory hangs in there however kicking out just before the three and rallying back goes on to hit the Moretti Driver for the win.Back from the break we're in the locker room where ECW Champion Steve Corino is putting his gear away. When he shuts the door standing there is...Jerry "The King" Lawler?! Steve smiles at Lawler who is all business. He tells Steve that he doesn't have a problem with he won the Title or how he's keeping it. Hell, Jerry himself has done worse. And if he gets the chance he'll take the belt off Corino. But tonight? Steve will be in the ring with his son Brian. And he's not here to ask Corino to go easy on him or anything. But... he doesn't want any shenanigans with the Horsemen out there tonight. He's proud of what his son has accomplished in his career so far and doesn't want to see it get derailed to an injury because Corino's goons go too far out there. So tonight he's not asking that Steve keep it clean. But to keep it one on one. Otherwise Steve is gonna be in a world of trouble. Because "The King" is gonna stick his fist through Corino's face.
Steve chuckles and says that's cool. But if he does Jerry this favor, then he wants something in return. Not something for him, but for his men. He gives his word that the Omega Horsemen don't get involved in him and Brian's match tonight on one condition. If he wins out there tonight; then next week The Hardy Boyz get a shot at Lawler's Tag-Team titles. Jerry says they have a deal and the two men shake hands. Okerlund says that Lawler has just made a deal with the devil.Match: William Regal vs. Ronnie Garvin Sir William Regal and Ronnie Garvin are two men that're as tough as they come and when S.D. Jone starts the match things get brutal. Nothing is held back as the two men slug it out and attempt to wear one another down. Garvin uses numerous suplexes, the figure four leglock, the sharpshooter, the rolling cross arm breaker; and even the Garvin Stomp; but Regal keeps battling back. William also uses several suplexes including an exploder and a bridger German. He pulls out the bow and arrow hold, crossface chickenwing, and half Boston crab grinding his knee into Garvin's head to no avail. But it's when "The Rugged One" fights his way out of the Regal Stretch arm trap cross-legged DDT that William Regal and the crowd really get a shock. Both men look like they're on their last leg however when Ronnie Garvin goes for the knockout punch! It'd all be over if Garvin connects, but Regal dodges and it only grazes him! He's still stunned by it however and reels about. Garvin moves in for the kill and grabbing William Regal looks to hit another suplex! But Regal flips backward out of Ronnie's hands and lands behind him hits him with the bridging leg hook belly to back Regal-Plex! 1!... 2!... 3! Regal has won it! And Garvin looks pissed as he sits up swearing under his breath.
William Regal however extends his hand to Ronnie Garvin and helps him to his feet where they shake. "Rugged" looks pleased by this and raises Regal's hand in victory. Gene loves this display of sportsmanship. Lanny of course thinks it's a load of crud. Dick Murdoch comes down to the ring with microphone in hand and tells Scott Taylor that he should thank him for that haircut because it made him look more like a man. Of course that don't mean he is one; hiding behind ol' Arn's skirt tails. But that's alright with him. He already proved he could beat Taylor's punk ass six way to Sunday. Arn then snatches the mic from Murdoch and tells him his biggest problem in life is that he never knew when to keep his dumb hayseed mouth shut. That this ain't about him and Taylor. That "The Enforcer" hasn't forgotten Dumb Dick Murdoch's role in him losing his Title. That AA hasn't fogotten anyone. And that while tonight the bell toll's for "Captain Redneck;" soon every last jackass who messed with "The Enforcer" is gonna be in a world of hurt. He guaran-damn-tees that! He then punches Murdoch with the mic in hand dropping him on his ass.Match: Arn Anderson w/ Scott Taylor vs. Dick Murdoch Danny Davis starts the match and though Dick Murdoch does his best to get some offense in; this one's mostly all Arn Anderson as "The Enforcer" works Dick Murdoch over, tearing "Captain Redneck" apart before he hits the Double A spinning spinebuster and makes the cover when Junkyard Dog appears and jumps up onto the apron! Scott Taylor however has Arn covered and runs across the ring and connects with a dropkick knocking JYD out to the floor while AA picks up the win. After the match we're taken backstage where we see through a cracked open door ECW Champ Steve Corino is talking to someone. They seem to reach an agreement and Corino steeples his hands together and bows.Lanny and Gene welcome us back from the break before reminding us that next will Eastern Championship will be coming to us live from the William D. Mullins Center in Amherst, Massachussetts and while tickets for that show are sold out; the folks left at home should be sure to catch all the action live right here on ECW's home station of TNN The Nashville Network!
They then hype the next match in which "The Long Island Loud-Mouth" Chris Jericho will be putting his Inter-Promotional Title on the line against "Mr. Danger" Mitsuhiro Matsunaga who is representing Japanese promotion World Wide Wrestling Association. They inform us that tonight we'll be witnessing something not regularly seen in the States; a Japanese Death Match!
"Flash Gordon" by Queen hits and "Mr. Danger" Mitsuhiro Matsunaga comes out with a barbed wire crown of thorns on his head and a barbed wire bat baseball bat. Jericho then come out to Joe Espisito's "You're the Best" and looks decidedly less armed with the Inter-Promotional Title which he poses with making an ass of himself while Mitsuhiro and referee S.D. Jones look on. "The Long Island Loud-Mouth" realizes he's in trouble however and wastes no time in charging at Matsunaga whom he cracks over the head with his belt!Match: Chris Jericho vs. Mitsuhiro Matsunaga Jones starts the match as Mitsuhiro Matsunaga hits the ground while Chris Jericho grabs the barbed wire bat and mocks him triumphantly. He then begins battering Matsunaga with it busting him open! "The Loud-Mouth" then throws the bat down to the ground and grabbing Mitsuhiro by the hair starts hammering him in the head when Matsunaga kicks his opponent in the groin! Jericho staggers backward trying not to fall to his knees as "Mr. Danger" pops up and begins laying into Chris with a barrage of kicks. Knocking Jericho through the ropes and onto the apron Mitsuhiro grabs his bat and begin grinding it into Chris' forehead ripping him open! Both men are now bloody as Mitsuhiro takes control of the match letting the Inter-Promotional Champ roll out to the floor before chucking the bat and hitting him with a legdrop. He then pulls Chris to his feet and whips him hard back first into the steel guardrail! He works Jericho over on the outside for a bit, dropping him into the steel steps with a side Russian legsweep before rolling "The Long Island Loud-Mouth" back into the ring.
He then goes under the ring and throws two steel chairs inside. While Jericho is still down he sets the two chairs. Still lying down Chris watches him before getting dragged up to his feet. Things aren't looking good for Jericho as Mitsuhiro lifts him up for a powerslam through the glass! Jericho slides out behind him however and when Matsunaga turns for a clothesline, Chris ducks under and counters with a suplex; sending "Mr. Danger" through the glass! Mitsihiro screams in pain on the floor as Chris grabs his legs and turns him over in the glass, pushing him into it with the elevated Boston Crab! Okerlund is completely disgusted by this match as Mitsuhiro pulls himself through the glass and gets to the ropes breaking the hold. Keeping on top of his opponent Chris attampts a whip; but Matsunaga blocks it and kicking Jericho in the gut hoists him up and poweslams him into the broken glass! He then attempts to turn Chris and lock him into the Camel Clutch, but Jericho scrambles for the ropes.
Leaping up to his feet he charges Mitsuhiro who takes him down with a drop toe hold and gets the Clutch locked in this time! Chris seems a bit out of it by the time his opponent releases him and stepping on on him leaps up for a double foot stomp before leaving the ring and digging under the apron again. This time he comes back with a bundle of fluorescant light bulbs?! Throwing them down in the center of the ring Mitsuhiro attempts to put Chris through them with a lifting side slam; but Jericho counters with a Tornado DDT driving "Mr. Danger" head first through them! Both mean are covered in blood and stay down, but Chris staggers to his feet first and running toward the ropes goes for the springboard moonsault! Matsunaga however rolls out of the way and "The Loud-Mouth" crashes into the glass! He shrieks in pain as Mitsuhiro grabs him by the legs and locks in a sharpshooter! Chris looks on the verge of tapping! He has nowhere to go!
But he sees some half broken lights and grabbing them swings back smashing them over his opponent! It's a glancing blow but Mitsuhiro gets off and grabs his barbed wire bat instead and falling on Jericho once again locks in a full nelson with the bat pressed against the back of "The Loud-Mouth's" head! He screams in pain as Mitsuhiro puts on the pressure and stuns the crowd as he crawls across the glass and makes it to the ropes! A frustrated Matsunaga goes and gets another piece of glass which this time he sets up in the corner. Then pulling the downed Jericho he Irish whips Chris; but "The Long Island Loud-Mouth" reverses and sends his opponent into the glass shattering it! Mitsuhiro sits in the corner in pain while Chris leans on the rope to catch his breath.
Both men are bloody and out of it when Jericho walks back over and helps Matsunaga up to his feet. He walks the challenger over to the glass and grabs him, but Mitshiro begins fighting back. Jericho puts an end to this however by battering him over the head and shoulders with punches and elbow strikes before hitting him with a double underhook powerbomb right into the broken glass! He makes the cover! 1!... 2!... 3! Jericho has done it!When ECW returns Lanny is still talking about how amazing the match we just witnessed was. Luckily "The Doctor of Style" Slick is already in the ring with his men Brickhouse Brown and Butch Reed. And they're tired. Tired of the man putting them down. Tired of them saying that the word oppression is just another word for excuse. But mostly they're tired of three men in particular; and none more-so than that cracker ass cracker leader of theirs; The Baron Von Raschke! Which is why Slick has arranged for his men to face off against the so-called Ubermensch this week. "The Doctor" and his men are tired of being belittled. Tired of being called boys. They know that's just code for what those fools really wanna say. They says that last week they did what "Hacksaw" and Brickhouse couldn't by putting down Deep South? Well that Uncle Tom JYD just got lucky is all. And to prove it tonight his men; "Hacksaw" Butch Reed and "The Man of the Hour" Brickhouse Brown are gonna prove that by defeating those that kollective of kooky krouts once and for all!Tag-Team Match: The Ubermensch vs. Brickhouse Brown & Butch Reed Brickhouse Brown starts things off with Aryan von Raschke as Danny Davis starts the match. There's good back and forth between the two with Aryan getting a nearfall following a sitout powerbomb off the top rope. "The Doctor of Style" meanwhile harrassing the Baron Von Raschke on the outside, poking him with his cane. Eventually he says something that really gets the Baron pissed and he begins chasing Slick about the ring and when that fails he sends the monster known as The Blitzkrieg after him! Slick however races to the back with the huge Eastern States Champion in hot pursuit! Inside the ring meanwhile Aryan connects with the lifting DDT! 1!... 2!... Brown kicks out and when Von Raschke lifts him to his feet Brickhouse counters with the hot tag to Butch Reed! Reed comes in and begins working Aryan over. The younger Von Raschke now realizes he's alone out there when he looks for the tag and ends up getting pinned after a military press slam! Butch and Brickhouse celebrate while on the outside The Baron is livid. He is freaking out when he's suddenly grabbed from behind and rolled into the ring by... Slick?!!!
Von Raschke's eyes go wide as he makes for Slick who's still on the outside and for some reason has two cans of paint? He doesn't get out of the ring however as he is grabbed from behind by Brickhouse Brown. Together him and Aryan are thrown into the center of the ring and "The Doctor of Style" enters putting forth his full pimp strut as he opens the cans and proceeds to poor black paint all over the Von Raschkes! Butch, Brickhouse; and Slick have fun mocking the duo when suddenly The Blitzkrieg appears from the crowd! The three men quickly vacate the ring as "Mangler's Monster" storms it making the belated save. The Baron and Aryan are both flipping out as ECW goes to... After the break ECW correspondent Terri Runnels is with ECW Lightweight Champion "Rock 'N Roll" Buck Zumhoff, Tiffany; and his new pals Sex & Violence. Buck says that over the last two weeks the Omega Horsemen have proven themselves a force to be reckoned with. That the Hardy Boyz beat his friends Sexton hardcastle and Joe E. Legend in a tag match and last week Steve Corino defeated "The Rock 'N Roller" himself one on one. Or should he say four on one? Yeah that's right. Cause after the match Corino and his jackals had to go too far and attack him! But that seems to be their thing. To fight when they have the superior numbers. But that won't be the case next week. Because unless Buck can't count to four; there're only four members of the Omega Horsemen. And next week? Well next week Buck has gotten a fourth man. A man Corino knows real well. A man who will be teaming with him and Sex & Violence against the Omega Horsemen! Cause next week they're gonna be Rockin' and Rollin' baby! Match: Jerry Lawler vs. Tommy Dreamer Tommy Dreamer gives as good as he gets in this bout with Jerry Lawler, hitting "The King" with a fallaway slam that gets him a two count from referee S.D. Jones. Lawler however has the edge and for every step forward Tommy takes, he beats him two steps back. He gets a two count after hitting Dreamer with a DDT; and looks to be on his way to winning the match when he ges up top looking for the Flying Fist Drop! When The Kaientai Theme hits! And out from the back comes "The Japanese Buzzsaw" Yoshihiro Tajiri and Masato Tanaka! The New Orient Express! The two men storm down to the ring and Jerry quickly hops down from the top. Tajiri hits the ring first and he begins fighting with Lawler, but soon it becomes a two on one brawl as Tanaka joins the fray! Jerry is getting the worst of it for a few seconds when he saved by... Tommy Dreamer?! Dreamer grabs Tajiri and the four men begin brawling as Mr. Fuji arrives in the ring. Tommy hits Yohsihiro with a hard right that sends him reeling when his Diabolical manager lets Dreamer have it with a face full of salt and begins cackling! Tajiri takes this opportunity to clothesline Tommy from the ring! With his ally out of the picture, Jerry Lawler becomes the victim of a two on one beat down while Mr. Fuji eggs on the booing crowd.Okerlund and Poffo welcome us back from the last commercial break of the evening before informing us about what happened after the commercial break. We're taken to a video clip where The New Orient Express is continue beating on "The King" Jerry Lawler when out from the back races young Brian Lawler and Dreamer's tag-team partner Dustin Rhodes! The two men pull the Orient Express off of Jerry, but during the skirmish Yoshihiro Tajiri lets Brian Lawler have it with a face full of Asian Mist! Though partially blinded he along with Dustin and his battered but recovering father Jerry manage to clear the ring of the Express including Fuji who decides this would be a good time to roll out himself. The two announcers then hype tonight's main event and wonder what condition Brian Lawler will be in tonight after taking a face full of the mist. We soon find out as the Bill Conti Overture hits...
Gertner: The following non-Title match is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first from Memphis, Tennesse weighing 213 lbs.; he is one half of the ECW Tag-Team Champions; Brian Lawler!
Lawler's face still has some of the green mist on it and he rubs his slightly watery eyes as he makes his way down to the ring. He hands his Title to referee Danny Davis when "Fire" by Scooter hits and the ECW Champion appears on the ramp. Like last week he has a Flairish robe on and the ECW Title draped over his shoulder.
Gertner: And now introducing at this time from Sea Isle City, New Jersey weighing in at 222 lbs.; he is the Eastern Heavyweight Champion; the self-professed "Mr. Wrestling" Steve Corino!Main Event: Steve Corino vs. Brian Lawler It's obvious from the on-set of the match that Brian Lawler is having a bit of problem with his eyes and even more-so that Steve Corino is enjoying this unfair adavantage; even going so far as to gouge his opponent's eyes rubbing the mist in midway through the match. This gets him in trouble with Davis and draws alot of heat from the crowd. So he does it again. Brian refuses to quit however and gets some offense in, notably hitting a surprise dropkick when Corino whips him across the ring and ducks too early and later dropping the champ with his fell nelson facebuster. He makes the cover both times but only picks up one counts. The match is mostly "Mr. Wrestling" working Brian over and after failing to get the pin following a DDT and a suplex; he turns out Brian Lawler's lights with his inverted facelock neckbreaker slam for the three count.
Lights Fade.

8-22-95 - William D. Mullins Center Amherst, MA"Mean" Gene Okerlund and "The Genius" Lanny Poffo welcome us to the William D. Mullins Center in Amherst, Massachussetts for another exciting edition of Eastern Championship Wrestling! They then briefly recap last week's show including Slick's team dousing Baron Von Raschke's Ubermensch in black paint, Anderson defeating Dick Murdoch after putting Steve Corino and his men on notice; and The New Orient Express' attack on Jerry Lawler during his match with Tommy Dreamer.
They segway this into hyping the first match of the night, reminding us how Brian Lawler came to his father's aide only to end up receiving a face full of green mist courtesy of "The Japanese Buzzsaw" Yoshihiro Tajiri. Okerlund thinks this was definitely a factor in Brian's loss to ECW Champion Steve Corino in the Main Event. Lanny says Gene really must be a "Genius" for coming to that conclusion. They then talk about the importance of this next match to Fuji's New Orient Express who hold the record for having the longest Tag-Tean Title reign in ECW history with 6 months and 22 days. They were granted this match here tonight because this will be the last opportunity to defeat the reigning ECW Tag-Team Champs Brian and Jerry Lawler before they beat they record. The Bill Conti Overture hits.
Joel Gertner then makes with the intros as The Lawlers appear on the ramp with the ECW Tag-Titles! Tag-Team Title Match: The New Orient Express vs. The Lawlers Yoshihiro Tajiri starts things off with Brian Lawler and it's obvious from the moment referee S.D. Jones rings the bell that The New Orient Express have brought their A-game to the arena tonight. Tajiri draws first blood, whipping Brian across the ring and taking him down with a beautifully performed hurrancanra which he follows with a springboard moonsault for the first cover of the night. Lawler kicks out before two and Brian takes a beating early on as Yoshihiro and Masato Tanaka make with quick tags, staying fresh as they work him over. Brian Lawler however makes his escape with a superkick out of nowhere on Tanaka and manages to tag in his father Jerry Lawler! Together the Lawlers work Masato over a bit hitting him with a double flapjack before the duo go up top looking to hit a guillotine legdrop and flying fist drop! While Brian lands it, Tajiri climbs up Jerry's corner and pushes him down crotching him! He then hits a Frankensteiner on "The King." As Tajiri gets to his feet however he's attacked by Brian Lawler who ends up clotheslining him out of the ring! When Brian turns about however he himself his sent out to the floor by a discus elbow smash from Tanaka! All this madness has given Jerry time to recover somehwat and he attacks Masato. The two men battle back and forth making several pin attempts until Masato Tanaka hits Jerry with the running Death Vally Driver! He makes the cover! 1!... 2!...
Brian breaks the cover with a slingshot elbow smash and all hell breaks loose in the ring with the young Lawler battling both Express members until the numbers game catches up to him, mostly due to Mr. Fuji tripping him up from ringside; and they end up dropping him with a brutal double DDT! Brian rolls from the ring as Masato Tanaka lifts his father Jerry Lawler to his feet and whips him toward the ropes where Tajiri locks him in the Tarantula! Jones begins yelling at "The Buzzsaw" to release the illegal hold as Tanaka runs the ropes and charging back connects with a dropkick! On Tajiri?! Jerry has broken free of the hold at the last second and Masato has nailed his own tag-team partner! Tajiri crashes to the floor and Masato Tanaka looks stunned, but quickly recovers his wits. Not quick enough however as "The King" plants him with a bulldog and dragging him up to his feet lays Masato Tanaka out with the Piledriver! He makes the cover and picks up the three count! The Lawlers have won it! After the break ECW correspondent Terri Runnels is in front of the ECW banner talking with "Mad Dog" Luna Vachon who tells us that last week sweet little Tiffany got lucky. That last time they met Luna was in a very bad, dark place. Because back on July 25th Vachon lost the only two things that mattered to her. The ECW Women's Championship and the only man who can handle her in the bedroom; Doink the Clown. But her time for grieving is over. Because she's going to take all the hatred and frustration she feels inside and turn it inside out; using it to destroy each and every one of these so-called wrestlers in the women's division! She then storms off leaving a very squeamish looking Terri who gives us a parting "ew."Match: Luna Vachon vs. Tiffany Luna Vachon wasn't kidding (does she ever) about destroying her opponents. Because that's exactly what she does in this match to Tiffany who receives a beating and a half. It isn't pretty and Luna doesn't mind pulling hair, choking, jabbing eyes; or even biting while she's reprimanded by referee Danny Davis. Thankfully the match is short as Luna puts Tiffany away with a body slam for the three count. The medics are called for as ECW goes to...Match: Steve Blackman vs. Cousin Jamie Steve Blackman is already in the ring when ECW returns and his manager Captain Lou Albano is already hyping him for the crowd, doing his best to piss them off in the process. Banjo music then begins playing as Cousin Jamie heads to the ring with his tag-team partner Doug Gilbert. The fans cheer as the duo dosey doe around the ring. Jones starts the match and Jamie gives Blackman a decent fight, but he ends up on the receiving end of a bridged Fisherman's suplex! 1!... 2!. Doug hits the ring to break up the count! He and Jamie then attempt to double-team Blackman, but "The Silent Assassin" counters with a double DDT! He then hurls Gilbert from the ring where Albano pounces on Doug and begins beating him. Inside the ring Steve Blackman now punishes Cousin Jamie eliciting boos from the crowd before he forces his opponent to tap using the guillotine choke. Captain Lou enters the ring and raises his man's hand in victory just as..."White Train" by Tito & Tarantula hits and ECW President Eric Bischoff appears on the ramp?! He swaggers down to the ramp as usual and gets a microphone from Joel Gertner. Albano and Blackman are about to leave, but he asks them to stay and hear his big announcement. First Eric thanks the fans for their continued support, inspiring him to make Eastern Championship Wrestling the best wrestling promotion in the world! He then says that as we all know ECW's last big event Hardcore Heaven was a huge success with tv viewers around the country glued to the television watching ECW and not some second-rate has been promotion that is in constant jeopardy of losing it's timeslot to the Real World. And once again he has the fans to thank for that. Okerlund calls him a shill of course. Now he's not out here to congratulate us on our good taste of course. No, when Bischoff is out in the ring is always means one thing. Business is at hand. And what business does he have for us tonight you might be asking? Very well. He's going to tell us. He's here to announce that on September 26th at the Commack Arena on Long Island, New York; Eastern Championship will be holding it's next Big Event; Old School Rules! And like Hardcore Heaven this huge show will be brought to you live and for free; right here on TNN The Nashville Network as a big thank you to the fans! Now what big matches will there be? Well Eric isn't going to tell you. Not yet. But... we'll know the first one next week. Because Bischoff has scheduled a number one contender's Match for the Eastern States Championship! And that match will between two men who've been on a roll here in ECW. In one corner will be Sir William Regal! And in the other; "The Silent Assasin" himself, Steve Blackman! Albano seems very excited by this news, but Steve's expression of course; doesn't change.Lanny and Gene welcome us back from the break before reminding us that next week Eastern Championship Wrestling will be coming to us live from the Frank W. Keany Gymnasium in Kingston, Rhode Island. And that while tickets for the show are sold out, those folks at home should be sure to check in right here on ECW's home station of TNN The Nashville Network to catch all the exciting ECW action live! They then discuss ECW President Eric Bischoff's huge announcement before the break about Eastern Championship's next Big Event; Old School Rules! They're both sure we'll see the next man on the card, Inter-Promotional Champion "The Long Island Loud-Mouth" Chris Jericho! They wonder just who is opponent will be and discuss the great matches he's had with top talent from around the world over the last couple weeks.
They talk about his matches with AAA's Cien Caras, ACW's Wolf Hawkfield; and WWWA's Mitsuhiro Matsunaga. Three men who looked to claim the coveted Inter-Promotional Title and failed. Not without just a little cheating from Chris Jericho of course Okerlund reminds us. Poffo claims to have no idea what Gene is talking about and "Mean" Gene responds "You wouldn.'t" Lanny doesn't know how to take that, but drops it as they hype "The Loud-Mouth's" opponent tonight sent from the Word Wrestling Council in Puerto Rico; he's a legend of the sport by anyone's estimation; "El Acrobata de Puerto Rico" Carlos Carlon!Inter-Promotional Title Match: Chris Jericho vs. Carlos Colon After Chris Jericho finishes showing off his Championship, Danny Davis starts the match and the two men lock up with Chris capturing Carlos Colon in a quick headlock. Just as quickly Colon slips free and the two men trade wrestling holds for several minutes before Carlos capures the downed Jericho in a chickenwing hold and begins working over his arm. Slowly Jericho manages to fight his way up to his feet and lets Colon have it with a chop to the chops! Colon continues wrenching the arm as Jericho begins firing away and grabbing Carlos by the head rams him face first into the corner! Carlos keeps hold of "The Loud-Mouth's" arm however and eventually takes him down with an armdrag before letting the same arm have it with a legdrop! He holds on the armbar and it's obviously beginning to hurt as Chris begins screaming in pain, but he once again manages to get back up to his feet; this time driving Colon into the corner where he gets in a few cheap shots before goes for the Irish whip. Which Carlos reverses sending Jericho's hard into the corner! Following him in Colon begins pounding on Jericho whom he takes down with another armdrag and locks in the armb- Jericho retaliates with an uppercut staggering Colon! He drives him back with a kick to the shin and whips him across the ring! On the rebound however Carlos Colon knocks Chris flat with a jumping headbutt! He makes the cover but only gets a two.
Getting to his feet Colon begins stomping out the Champ before grabbing the arm he's been working on and hitting it with another legdrop before applying the armbar! Chris is in some real trouble as he begins screaming and clawing with his free hand toward the ropes! Chris staggers up to his feet and in desperation tosses Colon with an armdrag of his own! Carlos however counters with the same taking Jericho back down to the mat! The challenger works his arm over for several minutes before Chris manages to get up to his feet again, though he doesn't escape the hold. With a bit of crowd support this time Chris begins to rally back and forcing Colon into the ropes frees himself and whips his opponent who drops him with a shoulder thrust on the rebound! Colon runs the ropes, but Jericho stays down letting Carlos run over him and popping back up on the rebound hits Colon with a spinning back elbow! Colon goes down and Jericho runs and hits the ropes! Springboard moonsault! But Colon has his knees up and they drive hard into the ribs of the Inter-Promotional Champ! Not wasting anytime Carlos pulls Chris up by the damaged arm and hits the rolling cross armbreaker! Chris is flailing on the floor screaming in pain as Colon locks in the armbar! When... the lights go out.
They stay out as a hush falls across the arena.
And then come back on. There's blood all over the ring and Carlos Colon is lying with blood using from his head. Chris Jericho is back up on his feet holding his arm looking confused. Danny Davis however isn't and lifting up a black baseball bat that's lying near Colon begins yelling at and accusing Chris who's claiming to be innocent. Davis calls for the bell, giving Colon the win by DQ as referee S.D. Jones heads from the back and checks Carlos out. He seems dazed but conscious and clutching his head he gets a crazed look in his eyes. Before attacking Jericho! He shoots across the ring and begins hammering on the Champ who barely has time to defend himself! Colon is on him and beating Chris savagely, biting him and Jericho screams in pain! Th locker room spills out and it takes several wrestlers and officials to pry the two men apart. By now both of them are bloody. Colon is fighting to get back to Jericho wildly; but Chris obviously wants no part of it as we go to... "Mean" Gene and "The Genius"discuss what happened between Chris Jericho and Carlos Colon before the break. Neither them seem to know what to make of it or whether or not Jericho really had anything to do with the bat. Though Okerlund says he wouldn't be surprised to learn Chris did in fact do it. They're both sure we'll here more about it next week. Both men were taken to an area hospital to be treated for their injuries here tonight.Match: Dustin Rhodes w/Tommy Dreamer vs. Rhino w/ Mongo Vyle Mongo Vyle is still sporting a limp as he heads down to ringside with Rhino. Dustin Rhodes and "The Man-Beast" give each other one hell of a fight with Rhino hitting The Gore striking spear early on, a fireman's carry cutter; and trapping him in a massive bearhug that makes it look like it's all over for a while. Dustin gives as good as he gets, hitting a springboard bulldog off the second rope, a bionic elbow; and an inverted atomic drop. This last one leads to a close call when Rhodes makes the cover getting a near three when Mongo reaches into the ring, grabs him foot; and pulls Dustin off his partner. This of course sets off Tommy Dreamer who's until now only argued verbally with Vyle at ringside. He attacks the big man, knocking him off his feet and pulling him up hits a DDT on the outside. Meanwhile inside the ring Rhino has recovered and pounces on Dustin Rhodes once he re-enters the ring and dominates him before hitting a superplex off the top for the pinfall from S.D. Jones. After the match we cut to the ECW banner again where "Rock 'N Roll" Buck Zumhoff is with his partners Sex & Violence as well as Tiffany who looks a little shaken up after her match. They're talking with ECW correspondent Terri Runnels a special surprise he has tonight. Zumhoff says he doesn't have one surprise, he has two. First on September 1st all the little Rock 'N Rollers better be prepared to party hard; because they'll be witnessing the season premiere of ECW Slammin' Saturdays! Terri says that's groovy news and asks if the second surprise has anything to do about their mysery partner here tonight.Buck says it sure does. That over the last couple of weeks he's had enough of Steve Corino and his little lackeys in the Omega Horsemen. He says that up until tonight they're had the advantage. The numbers have always been in their favor. But tonight, tonight he has a savage surprise for Corino; so "Mr. Wrestling" had better be ready. Because his little dream world is about to come to a crashing end with a very rude awakening.COMMERCIAL BREAKMatch: Scott Taylor vs. B. Brian Blair B. Brian Blair gives Scott Taylor a tough fight in this match officiated by Danny Davis that comes to an end when Taylor drops Blair with a standing dropkick before going up top and connecting with the flying high-angle chop drop for the win. After the match he celebrates with Arn Anderson who watched from ringside.Okerlund and Poffo welcome us back from the last commercial break of the even. They hype tonight's huge main event which will see ECW Champion Steve Corino and his Omega Horsemen against ECW Lightweight Champion Buck Zumhoff, Sex & Violence; and a mystery opponent whom Lanny is placing bets is going to be that dolt the "Macho Chump." They talk about the events that led us here tonight starting with the Hardy Boyz attack on Zumhoff with Sex & Violence making the save. This led to a match between the Hardys and S& V and another wherein "Mr. Wrestling" Steve Corino fought Buck Zumhoff. Each time "Rock 'N Roll" and his friends have been defeated, usually with the help of the massive Jason Venom. Tonight Venom will make his in-ring debut as Zumhoff evens the odds with a mysery fourth man who'll be revealed here tonight. Okerlund says that Buck did mention a "rude awakening." Could "The Ravishing One" himself Rick Rude be returning to Eastern Championship here tonight? He hasn't been seen on ECW tv since May 2nd's big event Hardcore Heaven. "Fire" by Scooter hits.
Gertner: The following match is an 8-man tag-team match scheduled for one fall. Introducing first making their way to the ring at a combined 950 lbs.; they are The Omega Horsemen: Jason Venom, Matt & Jeff Hardy; and the Eastern Heavyweight Champion; the self-proclaimed "Mr. Wrestling" Steve Corino!
Corino comes out in his very Flairesque robe with the Title slung over his shoulder as he slinks down to the ring followed by his men. He gets the microphone of of Joel Gertner and tells the booing audience to shut the hell up and let the one true ECW Champion speak. He says there's been alot of talk over the past week. About who the "Rocking Fool" Buck Dumbhoff got to back him here tonight. Couldn't be anymore pathetic than Sex & Violence that's for sure. Now speculation has ranged from wishful thinking in Rick Rude. He isn't leaving the safety of ACW to face the future of wrestling. Oh no. To the ludicrous of his former tor"mentor" Randy Savage. He ain't coming here. Corino put him on the shelf. Ended his career. He's gone folks. Deal with it. Now Corino he's thinking some other names are far more likely; his fat-ass washed up co-host Lou Albano? Possibly. That idiot former rival of his "Mr. Electric?" Wouldn't be terribly shocking. Buck isn't exactly high on the food chain after all. Nobody's going to risk losing their career, their very livelihood by coming down here and facing the future of the business, that's for damn sure. So basically what "Mr. Wrestling" is saying, is he don't give a damn who ol' Buck Zumhoff brings down here to the ring tonight. Because they're going to be leaving here the same way Zumhoff himself did two weeks ago. After getting pinned 1-2-3! "Rock You Like a Hurricane" by The Scorpions then hits as Buck Zumhoff appears on the ramp with Sex & Violence.
Gertner: And now introducing their opponents this evening at a combined weight of 958 lbs.; they are the team of ECW Lightweight Champion Buck Zumhoff, Joe E. Legend, Sexton Hardcastle and.... "THE ENFORCER" Arn Anderson!!!Main Event: Arn, Buck, Sex & Violence vs. Steve Corino & The Omega Hormen Steve Corino's eyes bug out of his head as he decides he doesn't want to wrestle first after all. He instead gives the job to Matt Hardy with a pat on the shoulder. Sexton Hardcastle enters for his team and the two men battle back and forth with Hardcastle hitting a Spear on Hardy which nets him a two count. Matt goes on to nail Sexton for the Twist of Fate cutter which would've been a three if not for the intervention of Joe E. Legend with a diving double axe handle onto the back of Hardy. This causes everyone to get in the ring including Corino who knocks Buck Zumhoff around until Arn Anderson comes in swinging which causes Steve to flip out of the ring over the top rope to make his escape. Arn begins yelling at "Mr. Wrestling" who has a big mouth while remaining outside the ring, distracting "The Enforcer" enough to get hit with a clothesline from behind by big Jason Venom. After several minutes of chaos referee S.D. Jones manages to restore some order. With Matt Hardy still down following a double flapjack from Sex & Violence, Hardcastle tags Joe E. Legend in making him the legal man. Over the next twenty or so minutes everyone gets some ringtime and nice offense in with the exception of the ECW Champion who remains on the outside. Legend hits a Legend Driver on Matt causing him to make the hot tag to his brother Jeff Hardy after a two count, Jeff eventually hits a senton bomb on Joe E., Buck Zumhoff hits the Rocking and Rolling springboard DDT on Jeff; and when Jeff tags in Jason Venom he makes an impressive in-ring debut as he works over "Rock 'N Roll" real good. He dominates Zumhoff, hitting the Lightweight Champ with several power moves including a big boot, a gutwrench suplex; and a sheer-drop release powerbomb the announcers dub the Venom Bomb. Buck is out cold as Jason makes the cover, but in storms Arn Anderson to break up the pin!
He puts the boots to big Venom who rolls to safety as Anderson helps Buck to his corner and tags in. "The Enforcer" charges across the ring, but Jason Venom is already back up and grabs Arn by the throat and tosses him into the corner where he begins working him over. Steve Corino is a bit "braver" here and gets in a few cheap shots before Jason lets Arn have it with a very delayed vertical suplex. "Mr. Wrestling" is barking orders at his giant now and instead of going for the pin, Jason Venom hoists Anderson into the air again and lets him have it on the top turnbuckle with a Snake Eyes! Nobody seems able to believe how Venom is just manhandling "The Enforcer." With Arn down and out, Steve Corino wants the tag and begins theatrically stomping Arn out to anger the crowd. He then hits Anderson with an elbow drop, mockingly dusts it off; and makes the cover. 1!... 2!..
Arn kicks out! Corino is pissed now and pulls Anderson up to his feet; but with a sudden surge of power Arn Anderson wakes up and sends Steve Corino flying across the ring with a huge Irish whip! The ECW Champ hits the corner hard and Arn grabs him from behind and hits a backbreaker over his knee. He doesn't try to make a cover. He just starts working Steve over being sure to keep the Champ in his corner. Corino finds himself on the receiving end of a jawbreaker, a DDT; and soon finds himself trapped in the figure four!
The Champ is in a bad way and clutching toward his corner looking for help, but referee S.D. Jones is barking at the Omega Horsemen to keep to their corner. Steve looks like he's on the verge of submitting however when he uses the last of his strength to turn over and reverse the figure four! He puts the pressure on Arn's legs, but "The Enforcer" is very close to his corner and quickly grabs the ropes breaking the hold. Steve Corino however sees his chance and sprints across the ring! Arn gives chase and catches him by the head just before he can make the tag and tosses him back into his own corner with a snapmare! Steve rolls and stumbles up to his feet falling back against the ropes and Arn charges in. Corino sees him coming but swings too early and Arn Anderson ducks under it, grabs Steve Corino up into the air and nails him with the Double A spinning spinebuster! He makes the cover as the Hardy Boyz rush the ring! They're soon cut off by Zumhoff and S&V! And Jones makes the count! 1!... 2!...
Jason Venom pulls Corino out of the ring! Arn is up and shouting for Steve to get his ass back inside the ring, but the Champ takes a walk to the back belt in hand! Meanwhile Sex and Violence along with Zumhoff clear the ring of the Hardy Boyz and S.D. Jones gives Buck's team the win via Count Out as the...
Lights Fade.

8-29-95 - Frank W. Keany Gymnasium Kingston, RI"Mean" Gene Okerlund and "The Genius" Lanny Poffo welcome us to another exciting edition of Eastern Championship Wrestling; tonight coming to you from the Frank W. Keany Gymnasium in the very unexciting (according to Lanny) Kingston, Rhode Island! They briefly talk about last week's show including The Lawlers defeating The New Orient Express to retain the Tag Titles, Chris Jericho's brutal match with WWC's Carlos Colon; and the huge 8-Man Tag Team match in which "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson nearly pinned ECW Champion "Mr. Wrestling" Steve Corino until the monstrous Jason Venom pulled the Champ from the ring. They then hype tonight's show which will see the Eastern States Champion The Blitzkrieg in action and the Tag-Team Champions The Lawlers putting their Titles on the line once again; this time against the Omega Horsemen; The Hardy Boyz! Okerlund says Jerry and Brian are going to need more than two sets of eyes in that one. Also the first match of ECW's next big event Old School Rulz will be determined when "The Silent Assassin" Steve Blackman faces off against Sir William Regal for the #1 contendership of the Eastern States Championship! Lanny says that with the winner having to face The Blitzkrieg at Old School Rulz; whether you get pinned or not; you're a loser in that one."Fire" by Scooter then hits as the ECW Champion Steve Corino emerges from the back in his robe with the Title slung carelessly over his shoulder. He has the Omega Horsemen with him. Inside the ring he takes the microphone from Joel Gertner and thanks the stupid fans here tonight for once again booing them. He says that being strangers to success themselves he realizes why they cannot stand a man like himself and his men the Omega Horsemen. That while we're off living our little mundane little lives he, Matt and Jeff; big Jason Venom are our touring, signing autographs, sampling fine cuisine; and loving doubly fine women. Now he's not out here just to brag of course. He's not without pity for us. In fact he's out here to tell us something he knows we're going to want to hear. Because of course the talk of this industry was that last week Eric Bitchoff announced ECW's big event, Hardcore Heaven! And of course any big event would have to include the very future of this industry; the Omega Horsemen. And he assures us they'll all be there, with belts on. Cause tonight the Hardy Boyz will be uncrowning "The King" and his little nepotistic Prince when they defeat them for the Tag-Team Championships! In fact Steve has to admit. He's a little jealous off Jeffrey here. He hands Jeff the mic.
Jeff apologizes to Corino. But someone he's not going to apologize to? That delusional has-been "Rock 'N Droll" Buck Zumhoff. You see the original Rock 'N Roller has something he wants. Something he covets. No. Not some lameass kid's show. He doesn't want to spend his Saturday mornings sitting next to that fat slob Lou Albano. What Jeff is talking about however is the ECW Light Heavyweight Championship! Which he'll be taking off that idiot Shucks Zumhoff this Saturday to ruin the premiere of Slammin' Saturdays!
Corino has a good laugh at this before taking back the mic. He says that's right. His buddy Jeff here will be walking into ECW Old School Rulz with not one, but two Championships! They high five. Now though he's loathe to move along from ruining ol' Buck's life again; he of course is going to be at the event himself; being the Eastern Heavyweight Champ and all! As for who his opponent will be? Well Corino doesn't care naturally. He'll put whoever it's away no matter what. But one person it certainly WON'T be? Arn Anderson of course. Cause Arn baby? Last week? Once again you didn't get the job done. You didn't pin "Mr. Wrestling" himself; Steve Corino!Just then however "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson appears on the ramp microphone in hand. He congratulates Steve. That once again he slipped out at the last second. Didn't technically lose last week. But that's just technically speaking of course. Because everyone in this arena. From the guys in the back to the workers in the concession stands; to the people in this audience all know the real truth Corino. That despite holding that belt. And despite your whole future of wrestling speil; you're nothing but. A loser. And "The Enforcer" has kept quiet. But the time for holding his tongue is at an end. Because Arn has been watching these so-called Horsemen. And he thinks Steve Corino is a little confused. And he gets it. He has kids at home that do it all the time. They think just because they call themselves something, then they are that thing. But why ol' AA is out here tonight is give these four boys in front of him a bit of a reality check. You see they might not realize this; but Arn Anderson was a bit of an integral part of the real Four Horsemen. He fought alongside the very best. Guys like Ric Flair. Guys like Tully Blanchard, Ole Anderson, Barry Windham. Guys that made a name for themselves in this business back when you four posers were sitting around the house sucking your thumbs. Guys that made it in this business on their own merits and then came together to form the most dominate force in wrestling ever. Guys that took home the gold in whatever promotion they went and fought night after night after night. So does Arn take a bit of offense in Corino and his pals calling themselves Horsemen? A little. But kids like to play make believe. But the time for dreams are now at an end. Because while he'll admit Steve got one over on him back in July and stole that belt he's wearing; well he thinks everyone here knows that last week? "The Enforcer" had him pinned in that ring 1-2-3. And that's only the starts of things to come boys. Because starting now Arn Anderson is going to make it his goal to put an end to their little charade. And when Arn sets his mind to something, he makes it happen. They can bet their sorry asses on that.Steve is about to say something back when "White Train" by Tito & Tarantula sounds and ECW President Eric Bischoff appears on the ramp with Arn Anderson! He shakes hands with him before telling the fans that as they know this September 26th we'll be witnessing ECW's next big event Old School Rulz! And while he wishes he could, Eric can't just hand Arn Anderson the shot at the Title. But what he is going to guarantee is that next week "The Enforcer" will have a shot to become the #1 contender because he will be one of the participants in a 20-man Battle Royal! The winner of which will face "Mr.--" ah, Steve Corino for the ECW Title at Old School Rulz! And while he isn't going to tell us who the other participants are tonight; he will say this... a major ECW star will be re-debuting in this match! He then wishes Arn luck as ECW takes it's first...Joel Gertner makes the intros for the first match of the night.Tag-Team Match: Destruction Inc. vs. The Hughes Brothers S.D. Jones officiates as Mongo Vyle starts things off with Devon Hughes. There's good back and forth throughout the match and several nearfalls until all four men are brawling in the ring and Destruction Inc. send Devon out to the floor with a double clothesline. From there Rhino and Mongo Vyle hit little Spikes Hughes with the Total Destruction flapjack/cutter combo for the pinfall. They leave with Takako Inoue who has been barking orders from ringside. After the match we cut to the ECW Tag-Team Champs The Lawlers who're standing in front of the ECW banner with ECW correspondent Terri Runnels who congratulates them on becoming the longest reigning tag champs. Jerry and Brian say that it was no sweat and that while Eastern Championship possesses some of the toughest teams in the business, The Lawlers have the distinct advantage that Jerry trained Brian himself and that nobody can boast having better in-ring chemistry than the father/son duo. They then talk about their match against The Hardy Boyz tonight and Jerry calls them a couple of punks kids trying to graduate to the big leagues; but he'll be damned if "The King" is going to lose these belts to a couple of kids who just graduated High School. He then suggests that after he wins here tonight, maybe he and Terri can go out and celebrate. Brian just rolls his eyes at this.Triple Threat Match: Erin O'Grady vs. Christian Cage vs. Rob Van Dam This is a fast-paced match with several nearfalls by Erin O'Grady who hits the Lucky Charm double underhook lifting implant DDT on young Christian Cage and a Tornado DDT on Rob Van Dam. RVD hits the Rolling Thunder on Cage and the 5-Star Frog Splash on "The Leprechaun." As "Mr. Wednesday Night" clutches at his ribs after hits the 5-Star however Christian rushes in to steal the pin! 1!... 2!... Erin just kicks out!! This seems to have annoyed the two more experienced wrestlers a bit and they team-up working the hapless Cage over a bit before hurling him from the ring. With Christian out of the way, O'Grady and Van Dam square off and battle back and forth for a bit before Rob Van Dam ends up taking Erin O'Grady out with the 450 degree splash that stuns the crowd and nets him the win from Danny Davis. Before the next match the announcers recap the ongoing feud between Von Raschke's Ubermensch and Slick's gang, replaying Slick getting smashed with a watermelon and how two weeks ago after defeating them Brickhouse Brown and Butch Reed dumped black paint all over their rivals. Tonight these groups will be meeting twice. First with Brickhouse Brown facing the Eastern States Champion The Blitzkrieg!Match: The Blitzkrieg vs. Brickhouse Brown With the Baron Von Raschke, Aryan, Slick; and Butch Reed all at ringside poor referee S.D. Jones has his hands full as both sides continually shout at one another and interfere in the match. Brickhouse Brown uses the distractions to his advantage and gets away with a hit and run approach on The Blitzkrieg for a bit, taking him down to one knee with a dropkick to the shins! "Mangler's Monster" rallies back however and dominates "The Man of the Hour" for a bit before taking Brickhouse Brown's head clean off with the Das Boot (big boot)! The Von Raschkes enter the ring to celebrate and a brazen Slick enters and slaps The Baron across the face! Von Raschke doesn't take that lying down and the two managers begin slugging it out. Their men soon join in and a huge brawl erupts sending us to...After the break Lanny and Gene tell replay what happened during the break with several members of the roster and security coming in to break up the brawl. They then remind us that next week's show will be coming to us live from the Harry A. Gampel Pavilion in Storre, Connecticut and that while tickets are sold out for the show, those folks at home should be sure to join us right here on ECW's home station TNN The Nashville Network to catch all the action live! They then hype our next match which will determine the first match added to the card for Eastern Championship's next big event; Old School Rulz! "The Genius" doesn't envy either man here tonight after just witnessing what The Blitzkrieg did to Brickhouse Brown and wouldn't hold it against them if both Steve Blackman and William Regal no-showed tonight. Okerlund says he doubts that'll happen as both men have been on a roll in ECW of late, not backing down from anyone.# 1 Contender's Match for the Eastern States Championship: Steve Blackman vs. William Regal Captain Lou Albano is at ringside for this one cheering on Steve Blackman who takes the fight right to Sir William Regal. The two men brawl about the ring with Blackman getting a two count with a bridged Fisherman's suplex and a near three when he drives William back into the ropes and down to one knee before leveling him with a roundhouse kick! Regal gets in plenty of offense at well using an exploder suplex earler on, getting a two count with the Regal-bridging leghook belly to back suplex; and finally capturing "The Silent Assasin" in the Regal Stretch arm trapped cross-legged STF! It's over! But Blackman fights it?! He seems on the verge of tapping but slowing claws his way to the ropes!
Danny Davis has Regal break the hold and William dominates Steve for a bit, hitting him with the Regal Bomb double underhook powerbomb that causes Blackman to roll out to the floor. Davis begins the count with Regal about to go after him when Captain Lou enters the ring and cracks William over the head with a Kendo stick! He falls seated in the corner and hurling the stick from the ring, Albano begins hammering on William before getting out of dodge. Danny reaches and 8 count as Steve Blackman picks himself up and slides into the ring with neither of them seeming to be aware of Albano's interference. Though both seem a bit surprised at Regal slumped over in the corner. Not questioning it too much Steve Blackman hoists his opponent to his feet and goes back to work before locking Sir William in the Guillotine choke! This has gotta be it!
But Regal refuses to tap and fights his way out! He mounts a slow moving comeback as him and Steve Blackman battle back and forth until William Regal lays "The Assasin" out with a double undehook suplex from off the top! He makes the cover and gets it! Regal is the #1 contender fot the Eastern States Championship! After the match we see Ivory watching the match on TV in the back, looking on approvingly. She has the Women's Championship slung over her shoulder when the door behind her bursts open and in charges "Mad Dog" Luna Vachon! She attacks the Champ slamming Ivory's head into the floor repeatedly, busting her open! Ivory attempts to fend her off to no avail and Luna leaves her in a crumpled heap.Match: Beulah McGillicutty vs. Rockin' Robin Rockin' Robin gives Beulah McGillicutty a good fight, but in the end McGillicutty takes her out with a moonsault for the win. S.D. Jones raises her hand in victory as Luna Vachon charges the ring from behind! She begins hammering on Beulah and flattens her with the Luna Bomb corner slingshot splash! Getting to he feet she puts the boots to the down and out McGillicutty as S.D. Jones does his best to pull her off. This only angers "Mad Dog" who then attacks the ref! S.D. is caught by surprised and takes a beating before getting laid out himself with a sitout powerbomb! Luna then approaches Joel Gertner who looks like he may be about to wet himself when he she barks at him to hand over the microphone, which he does. She gets on the microphone and says that this here is what's going to happen every single night. Every single night until she gets her life back. So she doesn't care who it is, whether it's Ivory or Eric Bischoff; but she wants her damned Title shot! And she wants it next week! Lanny suggests Eric give her whatever she wants. Okerlund isn't sure if he wants to disagree. At least not while she's still out here. ECW Light Heavyweight Champ "Rock 'N Roll" Buck Zumhoff is with ECW correspondent Terri Runnels who asks him about what Jeff Hardy said out here earlier tonight. Buck says that nothing, but nothing is going to ruin the return of ECW Slammin' Saturdays for all his little Rock 'N Rollers out there! He says that Jeff might talk a big game but the facts don't lie. Every time they've been in the ring together and there's been a decision; the winner of that decision has been ol' Buck. And this Saturday Buckamania is gonna be running wild all over Rhode Island little sister! Runnels seems amused by Zumhoff when her face changes to one of shock.Because Jeff Hardy has just shown up with his brother Matt and the duo blindside Buck Zumhoff! The two men knock him down to the ground and begin working him over when Matt crouches down and props up Zumhoff's lef leg before Jeff Hardy viciously jumps up and deliver a legdrop to his knee! Buck cries out in pain and begins writhing around on the floor while Jeff gets in Terri's face and tells her that this weekend to tune in to Slammin' Saturdays kids. Because they're gonna witness more of the same. Jeff Hardy destroying their precious Buck Zumhoff! Okerlund calls this an absolutely heinous encounter.Match: Butch Reed vs. Aryan von Raschke Brickhouse Brown and The Blitzkrieg take their turn at ringside with the Baron Von Raschke and Slick. Danny Davis starts the match and Butch Reed immediately attacks Aryan Von Raschke who seems to be doing his best to use the "get the hell out of his way" approach. It isn't very effective at all with Butch dominating him until The Baron reaches in and trips Butch up. Aryan capitalizes on this and grabbing "Hacksaw's" head leaps up and nails him with a legdrop facebuster which gets him the two count. He keeps on top of Reed hitting him with a dropkick and Sieg Heil! Superkick. Neither of them keep Butch down and when Von Raschke mockingly smacks him before going for a side Russian legsweep, a pissed off Butch elbows the smaller man in the face causing him to stumble into the corner of the opposition where Slick grabs him in a full nelson while Butch Reed recovers and begins hammering on him! This causes The Blitzkrieg and The Baron to re-enter the ring followed by Brickhouse Brown and the six men battle it out until Danny Davis gives up and calls for the bell, declaring it a No Contest. Neither side looks very pleased with this.Okerlund and Poffo welcome us back from the last commercial break of the evening and thank us for joining them here tonight. They then hype tonight's Main Event which will see the Hardy Boyz challenge ECW Tag-Team Champs The Lawlers for the Titles! This match was arranged between Jerry Lawler and Steve Corino in exchange for the ECW President's promise he wouldn't involve the Omega Horsemen in his match with Jerry's son Brian lawler that took place two weeks ago. Gene seems to think Steve broke the spirit that agreement however by sneakily hiring The New Orient Express to attack The Lawlers prior to the match. Lanny of course thinks this is ridicuculous. He says Corino had nothing to do with that assault and even if he did; the agreement was that the Omega Horsemen wouldn't get involved. And they didn't. Okerlund sighs and whatever and shakes his head. Just then "Teen Spirit" by Nirvana hits as The Hardy Boyz appear on the ramp.
Gertner: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and is for the Tag-Team Championships! Introducing first the challengers from Cameron, North Carolina weighing a combined 450 lbs. and accompanied to the ring by Jason Venom and the ECW Champion Steve Corino; they are The Hardy Boyz!
The Hardy Boyz pose in spite of the booing crowds while Steve Corino and Jason Venom stalk about the ring until S.D. Jones orders them to the outside when The Bill Conti Overture hits.
Gertner: And now introducing from Memphis, Tennessee weighing in at a combined 456 lbs.; they are the ECW Tag-Team Champions; Brian and Jerry "The King" Lawler!Main Event Tag-Team Title Match: The Lawlers vs. The Hardy Boyz w/ Steve Corino & Jason Venom Brian Lawler gets to start things off with Matt Hardy while S.D. Jones returns to officiate. He doesn't look to beat up. Brian and Matt battle back and forth with Brian having a clear adavantage early on, hitting Hardy with a full nelson facebuster for a two count. He keeps on top of Matt mostly until Steve Corino distracts him at ringside and Matt capitalizes with an uppercut. From there he battles back, hitting Brian with the Twist of Fate cutter before tagging in his brother Jeff Hardy who immesiately goes up top for the high-angle Senton Bomb! 1!... 2!...
Brian kicks out! Jeff looks stunned, but lifting Brian up whips him into the ropes and hits a spinning back elbow before whipping Lawler again. This time on the rebound Brian counters with a dropkick and kip ups! From there the duo battle back and forther until Brian tags in Jerry Lawler and the Tag Champs hit him whip him into the ropes and lay him out with a double spinebuster! Jerry makes the cover but Jeff kicks out just before the three. He then proceeds to dominate Jeff a bit, lowering his strap before hitting a superplex of the top! He makes the cover, but the ref is nowhere in sight?! Jerry looks around to see that ECW Champ Steve Corino is up on the apron arguing with the S.D. Jones. Pissed Jerry goes to collect him when he is spun about, kicked in the gut; and hit with the sheer-drop release Venom Bomb! Jason Venom looks pretty pleased with himself as he rolls Jeff Hardy on top of "The King" and heads out of the ring as Corino hops off the apron telling Jones to do his job. S.D. turns to see Jeff making the cover and begins the count! 1!... Brian hits the ring! 2!.... Jeff Hardy's leg is grabbed! 3! Arn Anderson pulls Jeff off of Jerry Lawler?! He's just broken the count!Scott Taylor is with him; and along with him and Brian Lawler; "The Enforcer" clears the ring of the Hardy Boyz heading off both Steve Corino and Jason Venom as they attempt to re-enter. The ECW Champ looks particularly pissed as he agrues with Arn Anderson from ringside when the...
