Tenay, “The fans in Paradise love the legend. Larry, we are in Hawaii, on the way to Japan and we have so much going on. We are about a month away from the big ‘King’s Coronation’ Pay per View. We will learn more about that show later tonight, but let’s get right to tonight’s show. We have a big title match, and the Islands may not be big enough to hold it. Dave Finlay defends the International Title against King Kong Bundy. Let’s see what happened a couple of weeks ago.”

We see highlights of the double disqualification from San Jose.

Tenay, “Larry, it will be wild.”

Zbyszko, “We can only hope Finlay takes care of Bundy and then gets his hands on Wippleman.”

Tenay, “Let’s talk about the Inspector. He has another title match tonight. There seems to be a problem between Wippleman and Sonny Onoo. It seems Onoo went behind Wippleman’s back and signed the tag team of Gran Naniwa and Super Delphin. There might be some trouble in paradise for IWE LTD.”

Zbyszko, “We can only hope so.”

Tenay, “Speaking of Onoo’s new team they will be in our first match. Gran Naniwa and Super Delphin take on a vicious Japanese team of Mr. Gannosuke and Tarzan Goto. This will be a wild one.”

Mr. Gannosuke and Tarzan Goto vs. Gran Naniwa and Super Delphin w/Sonny Onoo

Naniwa and Delphin and skilled mat wrestlers and use their quickness. Gannosuke and Goto are two hardcore brawlers that love to draw blood. The match is fast paced and Gannosuke and Goto use all their wild tactics, but the skill of Onoo’s team is too much. Naniwa catches Goto in the clutch de Naniwa and it’s over. Sonny Onoo has a good team, no matter what Inspector Wippleman thinks.

Finlay, “Bundy chose this! He attacked me, I’m an Irishman, I can’t back down! I do want to be the ‘King’, but it wouldn’t mean anything if I don’t beat Bundy!”

Marshall, “If you don’t beat Bundy, he may wear the ‘Crown of the King’.”

Finlay, “Let the chips fall where they may! I’m here to fight!”

Marshall, “We will see Finlay vs. Bundy later in the program. Now let’s see Dan Severn and Gary Albright in the ring.”

Marshal, “October 20 is the date and the Tokyo Dome is the place! ‘King’s Coronation’ is less than a month away. Last week we heard that Steve ‘Dr. Death’ Williams will return to action. He will meet ‘Hacksaw’ Jim Duggan. Here’s what else we know.

The Quebecers defend the American Tag Team Championship against the Pearls of the Orient

Shinjiro Ohtani takes on Jun Akiyama in a continuation of their fantastic series of bouts

Wolf Hawkfield will defend the American Television Title against the Patriot

Stan Hansen defends the American Heavyweight Championship against Barry Windham in a no disqualification, no count out match, there must be a winner

Finally, we know that match, we know what’s at stake, but we aren’t completely sure who will be involved. The ‘Crown of the King’ will be decided. The Triple Crown Champion meets the International Champion, Dave Finlay, if Finlay survives King Kong Bundy.

Now we have one more match to add. You saw Vader challenge Dan Severn and Severn accepted. Both men signed contracts backstage, so that match is on the card, Vader vs. Severn. Stay tuned in the coming days for more information.”

Marshall, “Maybe so, but Finlay beat your man, Chono, he may do the same thing tonight.”

Wippleman, “Marshall, you’re trying my nerves.”

Marshall, “Well then, what about Onoo and his new tag team?”

Wippleman, “This interview is over!”

International Heavyweight Championship
Dave “Fit” Finlay (Champion) vs. King Kong Bundy w/Inspector Wippleman

Bundy jumps Finlay before the bell. The Champion is in trouble. Bundy uses his massive size to overpower the Irishman. Bundy whips Finlay into the corner and goes for the Atlantic City Avalanche, Finlay moves and Bundy crashes into the corner. This turns the tide. Finlay goes to work on Bundy and the big man is in trouble. Finlay goes for the reverse piledriver. He gets the big man up and he crashes to the mat. Finlay covers him and referee Teddy Long counts the fall.

Tenay, “Dave Finlay sent a loud and clear message to King Kong Bundy, Inspector Wippleman and to Toshiaki Kawada, he will not rest until he wears the ‘Crown of the King’!”

Tenay, “We are running out of time, but let’s talk about next week. We will be at the legendary Nippon Budokan in Tokyo. Tenay, “The Legend, humble as always. Let’s talk about tonight’s show. We have a two great womens matches and more information about the womens impact on ‘King’s Coronation’. Hansen slams his bullrope and hat to the floor.

Hansen, “Windham! You’ve been a thorn in my side for too long! It has to end and it has to end at the Egg Dome! Either I take care of you, once and for all, or you take this title! I don’t think you can do it, but let’s find out!”

Marshall, “Stan, tonight you meet Bob Orton. You know you have to keep an eye out for Windham.”

Hansen, “Bring him on! I’ll take of both of them, and throw in Windham’s brother too!”

This a brawl from the get go. Both men hammer away at one another. Windham coaches from ringside, but does not get involved. Hansen hits the lariat and covers Orton. Referee Chad Patton counts fall. Barry Windham is in the ring. Hansen turns towards him, but Windham and Orton take to the floor. Windham grabs the mike.

Windham, “Not yet Hansen, not yet! At the Egg Dome, that’s when I’ll finish you!”

Kroffat, “Just like Doug says. We respect those two, but not Wippleman. We have to keep an eye on him, but we are so focused, if Harvey sticks his nose into things, we are going to pound him as well.”

Wippleman, “Zbyszko, you stupid Pollack, look at Kawada and Taue. No one can beat them, we will walk out of here with the titles again!”

Onoo interrupts.

Onoo, “Inspector, you manage great team, Taue and Kawada, I manage great team, Naniwa and Delphin, my team win last week. Your team have to win this week to keep up. Sonny Onoo becoming great manager, you must keep up.”

Wippleman, “Yea, yea, you have a great team. Now leave me alone so we can get to the ring.”

Zbyszko, “It looks like there is a little problem between these two. Now let’s go to the ring.”

The Holy Demon Army (Champions) w/Inspector Wippleman and Sonny Onoo vs. The Can-Am Express

The legendary Budokan is tension filled for this match. The Holy Demon Army are icons, but the Can-Am Express are highly respected. Kroffat and Taue open the match. Taue uses his size advantage to batter the Canadian. Kroffat is able to tag in Furnas and the former Tennessee Volunteer fullback matches Taue blow for blow. Kawada tags in and the Triple Crown Champion uses his brutal kicks to swing things back towards the Champions. The action continues in a hard hitting, close match. Furnas and Taue are in the ring. Furnas gets the big Japanes up and hits the powerslam. Referee Teddy Long counts 1…2…3! The Can-Am Express have won the Unified Tag Team Titles!

Sonny Onoo is here, but the Inspector is not. Legend, what’s going on?”

Zbyszko, “Harve probably got lost coming to the arena, or he’s just embarrassed. Either way, who cares. He’s not here and that’s a good thing.”

Baba and Watanabe are in the ring. Baba speaks and Watanabe translates.

Baba, “Welcome to the Tokyo Dome. All Japan is happy to be working with American Championship Wrestling. We now have the top wrestlers in Japan and the United States working together. We have an exciting night of wrestling action. This will be a night to remember. Mr. Watanabe, begin the introductions.”

The young Ogawa and the veteran Tiger King match each other hold for hold. Both men have their chances, but the end comes with Ogawa using the back bridging suplex for the win.

This is a brawl from the opening bell. Sionne gets the early edge by pounding away at Kamala II. He tags in Fatu and the young Samoan goes to work. The tide begins to turn when Kamala tags in. He slams Fatu and lands the big splash for the win.

Jun Akiyama vs. Shinjiro Ohtani w/Sonny Onoo

Sonny Onoo accompanies Ohtani to the ring. Wippleman does not appear. There is something going on. These two have had many great matches with the results very even. This one will be good. The match is dead even and the crowd at the Tokyo Dome reacts to every move. Sonny Onoo shouts instructions and struts around ringside. Ohtani has his moments, but Akiyama is too much. He lands the Blue Thunder driver for the win.

Williams, “Thank you Lee. It’s been three long months and I’ve worked hard and I’m in the best shape of my life. I’m back and I want my title back! Hansen, windham, one of you comes out of tonight’s match, and when you do, I’m waiting! I lost that title, but I’m ready to take it back! You have to deal with me!”

Marshall, “You meet ‘Hacksaw’ Jim Duggan tonight. You two have a long history.”

Williams, “Duggan is tough, we all know that. I don’t take him lightly, but nobody’s stopping me! Take that to the bank!”

Steve “Dr. Death” Williams vs. “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan

Two Mid-South legends go at it in this one. The first few minutes are a slugfest. Duggan stands toe to toe with the Oklahoma Sooner. Williams looks sharp after the time off. He slowly takes over. Williams pounds away and Duggan tries to fight back, but to no avail. Doc scoops him up and hits the Oklahoma Stampede and covers Duggan. Referee Chad Patton counts the fall. Steve Williams is back!

Akira Hokuto (Champion) vs. Aja Kong

These two have traded the coveted the title back and forth for a few years now. The Tokyo crowd is on their feet for this one.  The larger Kong charges Hokuto at the bell. She pounds away and the Champion is in early trouble. Hokuto summons all her available strength to fight back and now Kong is backing up. Hokuto whips the massive Kong into the ropes and hits a clothesline. Aja is down and Hokuto goes for the cover. Referee Jack Doane’s count only reaches two. The battle continues until Hokuto hits the Northern Lights bomb for the win. The crowd loves the action.

Wolf Hawkfield (Champion) vs. The Patriot

This should be a fast paced scientific encounter. The match begins with a handshake. Both men trade holds and counter holds. Both men have their chances. The Patriot hits the Patriot missile and covers Hawkfield. Referee Teddy Long counts two, but does not hit three. Hawkfield rallies and hits the Cyberspear for the win. Both men shake hands after the match.

Marsahll, “With me is the man from the Rocky Mountains, the man called Vader. Mr. Vader, Dan Severn has been a thorn in your side.”

Vader, “Thorn in my side, that’s what you call him! He’s a big tough animal, but so am I! Vader backs down from no man and I will destroy Severn! Tonight!”

Marshall, “Let’s go to Larry Zbyszko, who is with Dan Severn.”

Zbyszko is with Severn.

Zbyszko, “Severn, you heard Vader. That’s one angry mastodon.”

Severn, “Let me talk, let him yell. I know what he’s like and I know how good he is. I told people I came to ACW to wrestle the best, and Vader’s the best. It’s time for me to take his place.”

Zbyszko, “Two men ready for action.”

Match #7
Vader vs. Dan Severn

Two big men go at it in the one. Severn probably has more wrestling skill, but the man from the Rocky Mountains is a monster. The early moments belong to Severn. He actually out wrestles Vader and the man in red and black quickly becomes frustrated. He fights back with powerful rights and lefts. Severn is retreating. He makes a final stand in the corner, but Vader scoops him up and slams him to the mat. He then hits the Vader bomb for the win. Vader grabs the ring mike from Tommy Watanabe.

Vader, “Kawada, Finlay! One of you will win tonight, but you won’t get a prize, you’ll get me! I challenge the winner of tonight’s match!”

Unified Tag Team Championship
The Can-Am Express (Champions) vs. Bob Orton and Kendall Windham

This match became a title match when the Can-Am Express from the Holy Demon Army. This could be the chance of a lifetime for the veteran team of Windham and Orton. The Champions are very sharp. Windham and Orton pull out all the dirty tricks, but it’s not enough. Furnas lands the powerslam on Orton for the win.

Marshall is with Tommy Watanabe.

Marshall, “Tommy, we have a tag team match coming up. Mitsuharu Misawa and Kenta Kobashi take on Joe Gomez and Gary Albright. Misawa and Kobashi have been on a few ACW shots, but the fans are about to get a good look at them.”

Watanabe, “Yes they are Legend. Misawa and Kobashi are both two of the top five, or six wrestlers in Japan, or the world for that matter. As a team, they rival the Holy Demon Army, or any team in the world. This will be a treat for the fans.”

Marshall, “There are two major tag team titles in ACW and All Japan, not to mention several individual titles. These two men are top contenders for all those titles.”

Mitsuharu Misawa and Kenta Kobashi vs. “Desperado” Joe Gomez and Gary Albright

Misawa and Kobashi are sharp. The take the fight to their opponents. Both men get in their shots. Misawa hits the Rolling Elbow on Gomez and follows that with a Tiger Driver for the win. These two have announced their arrival in ACW.

Marshall is with Inspector Wippleman and Sonny Onoo.

Marshall, “With me are two men, who I believe still work together. Inspector, what’s going on?”

Wippleman, “Marshall, you just want to start trouble! I’ve got too much on my mind. The Quebecers are up next and they will destroy those masked goons, then later tonight Toshiaki Kawada will wear the ‘Crown of the King’. Sonny and I are working together, 100%.”

Onoo, “Inspector right, we on same page. I have great tag team, Pacific Cyclones, they best tag team in world, maybe they prove it by winning title, not from Quebecers, of course. They have big trouble with Pearls. Inspector need my help, I give him advice.”

Wipplman, “What advice could you give me? You little runt.”

Wippleman and Onoo bicker back and forth.

Marshall, “Did I hear what I thought I heard? Harvey Wippleman called someone a ‘runt’, of well, the American Tag Team Titles are up for grabs next.”

American Tag Team Championship
The Quebecers (Champions) w/Inspector Wippleman and Sonny Onoo vs. The Pearls of the Orient

Wippleman and Onoo appear to have patched things up for this important match. The match begins with Jacques and Ultimo Dragon in the ring. Jacques holds his own, but the talented masked man takes over. The Quebecers are in early trouble. Jacques tags in the larger Pierre and he tries to overpower both Dragon and Lyger. The momentum swings again and the masked men pick up the pace. The match turns into a brawl until Dragon hits the Asai moonsault on Jacques. Referee Chad Patton counts 1…2…3! We have new American Tag Team Champions. Wippleman is in shock, but Onoo appears somewhat happy.

Marshall, “Wow! What a tag team match! The Pearls of the Orient are the new champions and what champions they will be! I don’t know how Inspector Wippleman will deal with this. We still have three big matches remaining, but it’s time to talk about our next big Pay per View. ACW will be in Albany, New York, at the beautiful Knickerbocker Arena, on January 27. We will present “Winter Storm Warning’, stay tuned to ACW for more information. Now let’s go back to the ring.

The Pacific Cyclones vs. Manukea Mossman and Taka Michinoku

Once again, Sonny Onoo seems very pleased as he brings his high flying tag team to the ring. The young team of Mossman and TAKA will be a good test. Onoo’s masked team is very impressive. They tag in and out and their young opponents are overwhelmed. Gran Naniwa uses the Clutch de Naniwa to force Michinoku to submit.

Larry Zbyszko is with Barry Windham.

Zbyszko, “With me is Barry Windham. Listen Windham, in a few minutes you take on Stan Hansen in a no disqualification, no count out match for the American heavyweight Title. Most people would think that was a death wish.”

Windham, “You’re wrong Zbyskzo! The death wish is on Hansen’s part. Look at me, I’m Barry Windham, I’ve been World Champion several times and I am the best wrestler in the business today. Hansen, he’s loud, but he can’t back it up. He’s escaped every time against me. Tonight he can’t do that. The rules are in my favor, I’m taking the title!”

Zbyskzo, “Windham is confident, but I’ll bet this man is too.”

We go to Lee Marshall with Stan Hansen.


Marshall, “With me is the American Heavyweight Champion, Mr. Hansen, you heard Barry Windham, he thinks the rules favor him.”

Hansen slams down his hat and lariat.

Hansen, “So what? Who cares what that moron thinks! I’m Stan Hansen, I’m the toughest guy ever to come out of West Texas! Barry Windham is good, we all know that, but I’m the Champion and those rules are going to let me do whatever I want! Windham be as cocky as you want, I’m tearing you apart!”

Marshall, “The American Heavyweight Title match is next.

American Heavyweight Championship
No Disqualification, No count
Stan Hansen (Champion) vs. Barry Windham

Jack Doane is the referee, but all he has to do is count the fall. He won’t be very involved in the match. The two big men start slowly. They both know how key one early mistake could be. They lock up and Windham drives a knee to Hansen’s mid-section. This gives the Challenger the edge. He goes to work on Hansen. The no disqualification rule allows Windham to pull out all stops. The Champion is in a bad way. Windham’s blows have busted Hansen open. The Champ is in trouble. Windham goes for a cover, but Hansen summons enough strength to kick out at two. Windham argues with Doane, but Jack stands up to him and holds up two fingers. Windham goes back to work on Hansen. Stan, who is loved in Japan, rallies and the crowd gets behind him. Hansen lands two big left hands and now Windham is lacerated. Both men are giving it all they have. The blood continues to flow. Hansen whips Windham into the ropes and 60,000 people scream ‘Lariato’. Hansen hits the lariat and Windham goes down like a ton of bricks. Hansen covers Windham and Doane counts 1…2…3! Stan Hansen defeats Barry Windham. Lee Marshall hands the title to Stan, and the bloody Champion holds it over his head and the crows goes crazy!

Marshall, “With me is Dave Finlay the International Champion. Mr. Finlay, you won the title this summer in your hometown of Belfast. Now you have a chance to consolidate it with one of the most prestigious titles in sport, the Triple Crown Title, either you, or Toshiaki Kawada will wear the ‘Crown of the King’.”

Finlay, “The night in Belfast was the night of my life and this one equals it. It may surpass it. I know how good Kawada is and I know how sneaky Wippleman is, but I’ve trained my whole life for matches like this. I’m ready, may the best man win.”

Marshall, “Dave Finlay loves to fight, and he will do just that in a few minutes. Now let’s go to Larry Zbyszko and Inspector Wippleman.”

Zbyszko is with Wippleman.

Zbyszko, O.K. Harve, you lost one title tonight, let’s see you go for two.”

Zbyszko, “Listen Zbyszko, I know you’re trying to get me off my game. This is a big match. Kawada is ready and he’ll wear the ‘Crown of the King’ after this match. You can book it!”

Zbyszko, “What about this deal with Onoo, what’s going on?”

Wippleman, “Just shut up, will ya, shut up! This is a big match, I have to go to the ring!”

“Crown of the King”
Dave “Fit” Finlay (International Champion) vs. Toshiaki Kawada (Triple Crown Champion) w/Inspector Wipplema and Sonny Onoo

Finlay arrives in the ring first followed by the Triple Crown Champion. Onoo accompanies Wippleman and Kawada to the ring. He is all smiles and waves to the crowd. Teddy Long is the referee for this one. Giant Baba is in the ring with Tommy Watanabe and Lee Marshall. Marshall hands the case to Baba and he pulls out the velvet bag containing the title belt. Watanabe makes the ring introductions in both Japanese and English. Finally the bell rings and the match is underway. Both men are ready for war. The early moments are hard hitting and both have their chances, but neither man can gain an edge. Wippleman is pensive at ringside, but Onoo cheers and shouts instructions. Things begin to go Finlay way and the tough Irishman takes control. He lands lefts and rights and Kawada is in a bad way, but you don’t win the Triple Crown without being able to take and give punishment. Kawada turns to his old standby, kicks. He kicks away Finlay and the now the momentum has turned. Finlay makes a brief comeback, but it’s not enough. Kawada lands the Kawada kicks and covers Finlay. Long counts 1…2…3! Toshiaki Kawada will wear the “Crown of the King’! What a match! Baba comes into the ring to present the title to Kawada. Wippleman and Onoo strut around like they own the place.

Tenay, “Legend, what a show!”

Zbyszko, “Unbelievable! As much as I hate Wippleman, you have to give Kawada credit. He is the ‘King’!”

Tenay, “Welcome to the legendary Karakuen Hall, and our ‘Legend’ is as popular as ever. What a night we had on Saturday, titles changed hands, favorites won, favorites were upset and we have a new ‘King’! We’ll talk about all this, but first we have new American Tag Team Champions. Let’s bring them out.”

The Pearls of the Orient come out. Tommy Watanabe interviews them and translates.

Watanabe, “Congratulations gentlemen, you are the Champions.”

Dragon, “Thank you. We are very proud to have won these prestigious titles. It was an honor to win on such a big show.”

Watanabe, “There are many great tag teams, both here in Japan and back in the U.S. They will all want to wrestle for the titles.”

Lyger, “We know we are now the ‘hunted’. We will defend these titles in America and also any place else. We will be fighting champions.”

Tenay, “These fighting champions will get right to work. In our first match they meet ‘Hacksaw” Jim Duggan and ‘Gentleman’ Chris Adams.”

The masked team is very sharp. Duggan tries to rough up the Ultimo dragon, he is up to the challenge. Adams tries to match wrestling holds, but Lyger is too much. He lands the Lyger Bomb on the “Gentleman” for the win.

Tenay, “With me is the American Heavyweight Champion Stan Hansen. Mr. Hansen, you beat Barry Windham in a brutal match. Now, when we return to the United States, the former Champion, Steve Williams, is going to be waiting for you.”

Hansen, “Look Tenay, I’m the Champion, and when you’re the Champion, everyone wants a piece of you. Windham was good and Williams is better! I know that, everyone knows that! I beat Williams last summer and that wasn’t easy! It won’t be easy this time either, but I’ve got a big fat wife and eight screaming kids and to keep them fed, I need to be Champion! Williams, try to take this away from me. Just try!”

Tenay, “Well we have big news about Mr. Hansen and Mr. Williams. In three weeks, at Reunion Arena, in Dallas, TX, Stan will defend the American Heavyweight Title against Steve ‘Dr. Death’ Williams. A Texan vs. an Oklahoman in Dallas, it will be a war!”

Hansen, “Williams, I’m going to send you back to Oklahoma and you’ll never want to step in the ring with me again!”

Marshall, “Mr. Bradshaw, what are you doing here?”

Bradshaw, “I’m here to let people know what’s going on. I am one of the best young wrestlers in the business. I proved that in ACW against Barry Windham, Kendall Windham and Bob Orton. Then we come to Japan and I’m not on the tour. I’m back wrestling in Texas on independent shows in Seguin and El Paso. I should have been in Tokyo, so I paid my own way here and told Baba and the rest of suits that I wanted to be on tonight’s show.”

Marshall, “That’s very interesting. You have been very impressive, but why are you out here now?”

Bradshaw, “I’m out here to challenge Hawkfield! You’re good, I know that, but I’m better! I want to prove that in the ring, how about a shot at that TV Title?”

Hawkfield, “Mr. Bradshaw, you are a top wrestler and I back down from no one. I will defend this title against you.”

Bradshaw, “Good, I’m taking it from you, you can count on that!”

Marshall, “I know the matchmakers will get to work on this one.”

The first are two men that have been on top of the tag team world for some time. Let’s look at this.”

Tenay, “That’s right, Ricky and Robert, the Rock and Roll Express are coming to ACW. Now this next team might be considered polar opposites of the Rock and Roll.”

Tenay, “’Flyboy’ Rocco Rock and Johnny Grunge, the Public Enemy will be in Anaheim. ACW is the place for tag team action. Now we have one more announcement concerning next week’s show. After Bradshaw’s challenge to Wolf Hawkfield, the powers to be got on it quickly. Hawkfield will defend the American Television Title against Justin Hawk Bradshaw on next week’s program. What action!”

Zbyszko, “It just gets better and better.”

Tenay, “let’s go to the ring and see Misawa and Kobashi in action.”

Wippleman comes out alone.

Marshall, “Inspector, where is the ‘King’?”

Wippleman, “He’ll be here, just shut up!”

Sonny Onoo walks out with the Pacific Cyclones, Akira Taue…and Toshiaki Kawada.

Marshall, “Sonny Onoo, what’s going on?”

Wippleman, “What…what’s this?”

Onoo, “Sonny Onoo great manager, he make great deal. Cyclones, Taue and Kawada work for Sonny Onoo. Bundy gone, Quebecers gone, you have no wrestlers, no wrestlers! Sonny Onoo on top, Inspector, you on bottom!”

Marshall, “Harvey, is this true?”

Wippleman is dumbfounded. The program ends with Wippleman confused and Onoo smiling like the Cheshire (Siamese?) Cat.”

Tenay, “It should be noted, no one has heard form Wippleman since we left Japan. He did not fly back on either of the two ACW charters. As of now he is A.W.O.L.”

Zbyszko, “Poor Harve, maybe he stayed in Japan and became a Geisha Girl.”

Tenay, “I don’t know about that, but let’s bring out the star from ‘King’s Coronation’ and the man who leveraged his way to an exclusive contract with the Champion, Toshiaki Kawada and Sonny Onoo.”

Kawada and Onoo join Tenay and Zbyszko.

Tenay, “Mr. Onoo, I guess congratulations are in order. You manager the man who owns the ‘Crown of the King’, not to mention Akira Taue and the Pacific Cyclones. How did this happen?”

Onoo, “Sonny Onoo very smart man, just like Japanese auto executives who outsmart Americans and make better cars, Sonny Onoo outsmart Wippleman and have better wrestlers. Sonny Onoo on top of wrestling world, Kawada with me, Taue with me and Pacific Cyclones with me, Wippleman have no one, he loser, Sonny Onoo winner!”

Tenay, “Mr. Onno is very confident, but he has reason to be. He has the ‘Crown of the King’ Champion and Toshiaki Kawada is one of the top names in the world, let’s see him in the opener.”

Doc, you made a successful return at ‘King’s Coronation’ and made no bones about the fact that you wanted Stan Hansen, in the ring, with the American Heavyweight Title on the line. It has now been signed. In two weeks, at Reunion Arena in Dallas, you meet Hansen, one on one.”

Williams, “Everyone knows I’m a competitor, and so is Hansen. He took my title in July, and I hurt my knee, well that’s healed. Now I want a rematch and I thank Mr. Baba and the rest of the people in the front office. They know there is unfinished business with Hansen and me.”

Marshall, “Stan Hansen is coming off a brutal series of matches with Barry Windham, he has been riding high with the title.”

Williams, “Look, I respect Hansen. He’s great, but I’m better! He won the first one, and I ‘m going to show him that was a fluke! It won’t be easy, but I’m taking back my title!”

Marshall, “Dr. Death is not taking it easy tonight. When we return, he meets Gary Albright.”

Hawkfield, “Mr. Bradshaw is big and strong. He is very good. I have held this title for a long time and I’ve faced many worthy challengers, but Mr. Bradshaw may be the best one yet. That’s what I like. I want to test myself against the best. I will give my best and I am sure that Mr. Bradshaw will do the same. Two warriors will step into the ring and the best man will win.”

Marshall, “You can always count on the Champion to be philosophical. Let’s go to Larry Zbyszko, who is with Justin Hawk Bradshaw.”

Zbyszko is with the Challenger.

Zbyszko, “With me is the challenger in tonight’s match, Justin Hawk Bradshaw. I’ve had my eye on you for a long time. I think you are a future champion, Hawkfield is very good, but I think you can beat him.”

Bradshaw, “That’s where you’re wrong Zbyszko, I ‘CAN’ beat him and I will. Look he’s good, I’m not taking anything away from Hawkfield. He’s had that title for a long time, but he hasn’t beaten me yet and he won’t!”

Bradshaw whips Hawkfield into the ropes and goes for the clothesline, but Hawkfield ducks. The man from Snow Mountain moves around and catches Bradshaw in a backslide. Referee Jack Doane counts two, but Bradshaw kicks out. Both men pull out all stops, but neither one can take the fall. The time expires. These two will have to meet again.
Result-Time Limit Draw

Tenay and Zbyszko close the show.

Tenay, “Legend, what a match! Hawkfield and Bradshaw will have to meet again. They are just so evenly matched.”

Zbyszko, “This could become one of the best rivalries in wrestling. I can’t wait until they meet again.”

Tenay, “O.K. let’s talk about next week. We will be in the ‘Pit’ in Albuquerque, NM and what a show we have for you. We have two big tag team matches. First of all, the Rock and Roll Express take on Bob Orton and Kendall Windham. That’s four veterans who can put on a great show. We also have a non-title match. The American Tag Team Champions, The Can-Am Express, take on Mitsuharu Misawa and Kenta Kobashi. As the old saying goes, a main event in any arena in the world. Maybe we will hear from Mr. Wippleman, his disappearance is very odd.”

Harvey Wippleman walks out. His Mountie uniform is gone. He is wearing his usual attire, but it is dirty and disheveled.



Tenay, “Harvey Wippleman, what are you doing here.”

Wippleman is almost soft spoken.

Wippleman, “I came here to talk to Zbyszko."



Zbyszko, “Really Harve, what’s up?”

Wippleman, “Look, I know you hate me, and I hate you. I’m at the bottom. All my wrestlers have left, no one wants me to manage them. I’ve called everyone I know, and no one will help. I’m desperate. I know you have a lot of contacts, help me find someone to manage.”

Tenay begins to laugh loudly.

Tenay, “Larry Zbyszko help you? Come on!”

Zbyszko, “Harve, you’re right about one thing, I do hate you, but I might just agree to help you. You come back next week, and I’ll give you my answer.”

Tenay, “What! What are you doing?”

The program ends with a wry smile on Zbyszko’s face, a look of joy on Wippleman’s and a look of utter shock on Tenay’s.
