We don't have a lot of discussion here, so I'm trying to start some. I've been watching the Attitude Era Raws on the network. I watched the one tonight from 1/12/98. It is a week before Mike Tyson appeared. With that, Stone Cold stunning everyone who was going to be in the Rumble, DX, the Undertaker and Kane, the emergence of the arock, and even an appearence bt the Rock and Roll Express, the WWF was set to explode. In hindsight, we know what happened, but you can just feel the excitment coming.

It was a never miss for me. I too have gone back and watched them all. I am still back in 1996 but it was great stuff. Corny stuff yes, but great none the less.

I just finished the Tyson episodes. It's difficult to remember just how big that was, with all the clips from ESPN, Entertainment Tonight, etc. Austin was just on fire at this time.

I dunno guys, I feel those shows are pretty spotty looking back. You'd get 1-2 great segments a week, and a shit ton of filler. A lot like now actually.
Austin, McMahon, Rock and DX were usually a guaranteed home run, but in between there was a lot of useless garbage most weeks.
Oddly enough, I think the most consistent era for WWE was the Smackdown Six era in late '02 to mid '03.

I don't know, I'm watching the "No Way Out" pay per view. The opening match is the Headbangers vs. Mark Mero and Marilyn Manson-Dust, and the King just quoted a Chumbawamba lyric. It doesn't get any better than that.
