06/06/95 - The UTC Arena Chattanooga, TN"Mean" Gene Okerlund and "The Genius" Lanny Poffo welcome us to the UTC Arena in Chattanooga, Tennessee for another exciting edition of Eastern Championship Wrestling! They then briefly recap last week's show including how Masato Tanaka pinned the ECW Champion "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson in the tag-team Main Event and how Tommy Dreamer set up Destruction Inc. for a beat down at the hands of Eastern States Champion The Blitzkrieg. Something Okerlund puts over as a work of Genius. Lanny however wouldn't go that far. And apologizes saying that Gene has always been prone to exaggeration.
Joel Gertner then introduces the competitors in the first match of the night.Match: Mongo Vyle vs. Tommy Dreamer "The Machiavellan Mauler" brings his Destruction Inc. cronies to ringside and they get a warning from referee Danny Davis before the match starts. Both Mongo Vyle and Rhino look a bit beat up with Vyle sporting a bandage on his face. They're livid and it shows early on as Mongo Vyle attacks Tommy Dreamer from the second the bell rings and beats him down. He hits the Mong Masher sitout full nelson atomic drop and makes the cover. 1!...2!. Vyle gets up?! He pulls Dreamer up to his feet and begins wailing on him before going for a powerbomb! Once he's seated on Mongo's shoulders however Tommy comes alive and begins hammering on his opponent's head! Vyle loses his balance and falls back with Dreamer continuing the assault. From there Tommy takes over the match and works the big man over before whipping him into the ropes. On the rebound Tommy pulls down the top rope letting "The Mauler" spill out the the floor! Getting out onto the apron Tommy goes airborne and connects with a big elbow drop before getting to his feet and stomping a mudhole into Vyle! Going outside proves to be a mistake however as he is tackled from behind by Rhino! Tommy falls forward and smashes face first into the guardrail and as Rhino kicks him over we see that Dreamer's been busted open! Davis calls for the bell and awards the match to Dreamer via DQ; but a now recovered Mongo Vyle doesn't care and Destruction Inc. begin working Tommy over! Rhino holds Dreamer back while Mongo begins delivering the chops while screaming that Dreamer is dead! He then signals to "The Man-Beast" and the duo set their adversary up for the Death Drop flapjack/cutter combo on the steel guardrail! When suddenly a fan leaps up from his seat and decks Rhino?! Rhino looks stunned and doesn't know what to do as the fan delivers a hard left! Rhino has had enough and fires back knocking the fans sunglasses and baseball cap off to reveal...Dustin Rhodes?! "The American Dream's" son is here?! Vyle looks just as shocked as Rhino was as he watches his tag-team partner slug it out with Dustin. This gives Dreamer all the time he needed to catch a second wind and he begins assaulting Mongo once again! Just then Rhodes lays Rhino out on the concrete with a DDT! Mongo and Tommy are going at it and Dustin comes to Tommy's aide! Together the two men work "The Machiavellan Mauler" over a bit before they roll him into the ring and Rhodes has Dreamer set Vyle up seated in the corner. He then runs in and kicks Mongo in the nuts! Mongo's eyes bug out of his head as he clutches his crotch and staggers forward right into the waiting arms of Tommy Dreamer who hits him with an inverted crucifix cutter! Mongo is down and out as Dustin Rhodes pulls out a flask of liquor and takes a swig. He hands it to the bloodied Tommy Dreamer who takes a chug before handing it back to Dustin Rhodes who proceeds to kick Mongo over onto his back and spill the remainder of the flask all over him!Back from the break "The Leprechaun" Erin O'Grady heads down to the ring throwing coins to the crowd. Poffo is immediately annoyed afterward as a masked man with a bugle appears on the ramp and blows on it. Another masked man billed as Cavalryman # 2 comes out and heads down to the ring pretending to ride a horse with the bugle player following him while clapping two coconut shells together to make a horse trotting sound. Lanny wants to know just why in the hell he's Cavalryman # 2 when there's only one of them.Match: Erin O'Grady vs. Cavalryman # 2 S.D. Jones starts the match and Cavalryman # 2 sort of moves like that Sexton Hardcastle guy, meaning he's kinda sloppy in the ring and goes for the Spear. He's no match for Erin O'Grady, even with the Bugle Man attempting to distract "The Leprechaun;" and ends up on the receiving end of the Lucky Charm lifting double underhook DDT. After his win O'Grady places two gold coins over the masked man's eyes when in comes the Bugle Man who attempts to brain him with his namesake! O'Grady however ducks and pops up with a superkick laying him out cold. Afterwards we're brought backstage where ECW correspondent Terri Runnels is talking with Mr. Fuji and The New Orient Express. "The Diabolical One" puts himself over as having led his team to two Tag-Team Championships in ECW's first year. He puts Yoshihiro Tajiri over as being his star pupil who will soon become a three time Tag-Team Champ with the help of his new partner Masato Tanaka being the obvious #1 number one contenders for the Titles. He then goes on to put over his new charge Masato Tanaka who is destined to bring him him greater greatness having pinned the ECW Champion Arn Anderson last week. He says that he now has earned a shot at the World Title. And very, very soon The New Orient Express will be on top of the World with both the Tag-Team and ECW Titles in the possession of the honorable Japanese. Mwahaha. After the break we see Sir william Regal is seated in the cafeteria and is brought a cup of tea when in comes Beulah McGillicutty who's gotten a haircut. And not a very good one. In fact it's multi-colored too. Regal's eyes go wide and he asks "What happened luv?" Beulah seems oblivious and William tells her he's talking about her hair of course. What in the bloody hell happened to it? McGillicutty takes a mirror out of her purse as Regal begins to sip his tear. She screams though Startling him! She doesn't know what happened. She says she took a nap in the back earlier today and... Just then William Regal spits his tead out of his mouth and begins cursing while wiping his tongue. He looks rather perturbed and Beulah asks what happened? He says he doesn't want to talk about what he just tasted. But he would like to have a good speaking to with a certain costumed buffoon...
Lanny has a "suspicion" this ridiculousness has something to do with Doink the Clown who is waiting in the ring with Luna Vachon. Both of them are laughing. Okerlund tells Poffo that his "Genius" never ceases to amaze him. Lanny thanks him. Just then Regal and Beulah appear on the ramp not looking very pleased.Match: Beulah McGillicutty vs. Luna Vachon Doink and Luna who're pointing and laughing at the duo don't get to do so for long as William Regal and Beulah McGillicutty run down and slide into the ring. Doink the Clown and Luna Vachon are surprised and get the hell beat out of them with Regal clothesline Doink out of the ring so hard that he tumbles outside as well. They continue to brawl out on the floor while referee Danny Davis starts the match. "Mad Dog" soon gains her senses and battles back againd McGillicutty. Beulah is angry and this gives her an edge, but she's still only on evening footing with the much stronger Vachon who nearly puts her out with a spinning powerbomb. McGillicutty rallies back however and ends up scoring the upset using the Regal Stretch arm trap cross-legged STF to get Vachon to submit. Guess Regal has been teaching her something after all. After the match we're taken to a promo by "Captain Redneck" Dick Murdoch. He says that he's been a legend is this business for the past three decades. That he's won Championships, toured all over the world, had several plastic dolls made in his likeness. And yet still he gets passed over her in ECW for that pipsqueak no-talent weasel Scott Taylor. The Superstar gets the Main Event two damned weeks in a row. That same damned Superstar that Murdoch has put down time and again over the past several weeks. And why? "Captain Redneck" will tell you why. Backstage politics. That's why. Cause Taylor is buddy, buddy with the Champ. Well good ol' Dick has news for little Scotty. He might've been saved another loss to him two weeks ago thanks to "Mucho Man;" but there aren't going to be any friends around next time Scott Taylor steps into the ring with Dick Murdoch. He can guarandamntee that. Back from the break the Eastern Tag-Team Champions The Lawlers are seated at ringside with Lanny and Okerlund who remind us that next week ECW will be coming to us live from Freedom Hall in Louisville, Kentucky; Eastern Championship's first show in the state. He says that while some tickets for the show are still available, they're going fast. So be sure to call your local ticket center.
They then talk to Jerry and Brian Lawler about being the Tag-Team Champs and the current situation they're facing with not one, but three teams currently being the number one contenders for their Titles. The Lawlers say that that's why they cam here to wrestle in ECW in the first place. They wanted to face the best competition out there. And the teams looking for their Titles are quite formidable. Hell two of the teams, The New Orient Express and Savage & Corino defeated the Champs over the last couple weeks to earn the shot. But neither Jerry or Brian is going to let that get too them. The Express are already two time Tag Champions and any team with Savage on it speaks for itself. They knew going in those would be some very tough matches, but the Lawlers have learned from their mistakes and are sure that they can handle both those teams when the time come to defend the Tag belts. As for the third #1 contender; the team of Brown & Reed? Well they already beat them back at Hardcore Heaven. And they aren't buying that line of bull regarding a biased ref one bit.Tag-Team Match: The Bayou Boys vs. Reed & Brown The Bayou Boys have quickly become crowd favorites with their hoedowns before the matches and other backwoods antics. That doesn't save them here however, though they do get a nearfall on Brickhouse Brown when "The Redneck Rebel" catches him with an eye rake that lets him hit the Hot Shot flapjack dropped into a hangman. Their manager Slick makes the save by distracting the ref. When he tags in his Cousin Jamie the duo hit the Dosy Doe swinging body avalanche on Brickhouse in the corner. But "The Man of the Hour" battles back and eventually tags in "Hacksaw" Butch Reed who tears Cousin Jamie apart before hitting him with the Gorilla Press Slam for the win from referee S.D. Jones.Match: Ron Garvin vs. Jeff Hardy Young Jeff Hardy surprises Ron Garvin early on in this match officiated by Danny Davis. Hardy gets in some good offense before he goes to the well one too many times and leaps off the top with a flying crossbody. "The Rugged One" catches him in midair and slams him into the mat. Knocking the wind out of his opponent Garvin takes over and works Jeff over good before putting the finishing touch on things with The Garvin Stomp; which gets him the win. After the match we're brought backstage where ECW correspondent Terri Runnels is talking with "The Doctor of Style" Slick. He tells us that he's heard his "critics;" but the fact remains his men are owed their Tag-Team Title rematch; which they've proven yet again this very night when they took out them two crackas The Bayou Boys. Now he has nothing against them two, he's all for kissing cousins; as long as they're someone else. But his men Brickhouse Brown and Butch Reed have bigger fish to fry. Stank ass good ol' boys from this here hillbilly state of Tennesse. The Lawlers! Terri suddenly looks fearful as The Baron Von Raschke approaches with Aryan who's holding a box and the Eastern States Champ The Blitzkrieg in tow!The Baron tells Slick that him and his men are owed nothing. That his people had their chance and as usual they came up short. And now are looking for a handout. Well over the last few weeks it hasn't gone unnoticed that Slick and his boys have taken a particular interest in Von Raschke's own Ubermensch. That they have gone out of their way to make their presence felt. Well Von Raschke is an old school gentleman. And often when his forefathers would begin a battle; the two generals of a particular army would offer a tribute. Some small token. A gesture of goodwill that might lead to peace between the two parties instead of conflict. And to that end The Baron has brought Slick a gift. Slick says he's always up for a present. "Good, good" Von Raschke replies as Aryan then steps forward with the box he's holding. The Baron reaches in and from it produces... a watermelon?!Slick looks pissed and begins cursing Von Raschke when The Baron lifts the watermelon over his head and smashes it to bit over Slick's head! The Doctor of Style goes down hard as Von Raschke stands cackling over him. He tells him he's a fool if he ever thought there'd be peace between them. That this is but the first act in a war!Back from the break Lanny Poffo wonders where the hell Brickhouse Brown and Butch Reed were before the break. "Mean" Gene tells us that obviously those jackals knew the duo left the arena after their match here tonight. They preyed on a helpless man. And Gene is just disgusted by what we just witnessed. "You're the Best Around" by Joe Esposito hits as "The Long Island Loud-Mouth" Chris Jericho hits the ramp and swaggers his way on down to the ring. Lanny tells Gene he'd better be ready to be disgusted again.Chris has the Inter-Promotional title draped over his shoulder and he stalks about the ring a good while before telling us that while he doesn't usually like to crow over his own accomplishments, yesterday the Global Wrestling Federation was at the Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City, California and so was "The Long Island Loud-Mouth" Chris Jericho! He was there to bust some chops, crack a few eggs if you will; and challenged anyone in the arena to a shot at his Inter-Promotional Title! He then orders Gene to roll the tape.GWF Prerecorded Inter-Promotional Match: Chris Jericho vs. Terry Taylor On the big screen we see a pre-recorded video of Chris Jericho making an ass of himself in the GWF arena. He's in the center of the ring bad-mouthing the whole promotion when commentator Terry Taylor gets up out of his seat, enters the ring and grabs the mic from Jericho's hands. He tells Chris that he hasn't wrestled in a while, but he'll be damned if he's just going to sit here and listen to "The Loud-Mouth's" nonsense. Jericho acts incredulous, claiming not to know who in the hell Taylor is before claiming to have had an epiphany. The suit was throwing him off. Of course he remembers The Red Rooster!
Terry decks him and the two men brawl about the ring as a ref rushes down to the ring and starts the match. We're only shown the highlights with Taylor giving as good as he gets hitting Jericho with a sitout gutwrench powerbomb and the Five Arm flying forearm as well as locking him in the sharpshooter. Chris despite his comedic antics is no slouch of course and connects with the springboard moonsault, a bridging Northern Lights suplex; and tope dive on Taylor to the outside. Terry refuses to stay down and trouble comes for "The Loud-Mouth" however when after hitting a one-handed bulldog he begins mocking Taylor by strutting about the ring like a chicken. This gives Terry enough time to recover and he grabs Jericho charges Jericho taking him down with a dropkick before locking in the Rooster Wing lifting hammerlock! Chris cries out in pain while Taylor asks him "who's the chicken now?!" The Inter-Promotional Champ refuses to submit and fights his way back up to his feet and kicking Taylor in the gut lays him flat with a DDT! He makes the cover but doesn't come away with the three. Frustrated and angry Chris yells at Taylor and stomps him a bit before grabbing his feet and locking in the elevated Boston Crab! Terry Taylor attempts to fight it and crawls a bit towards the ropes before tapping out, giving Chris Jericho the Submission win.
We're then taken back to Chris Jericho looking rather pleased with himself. He says that he's sure Taylor didn't wake up at the crack of dawn after that one. He then issues a warning to everyone in every federation out there. He's already pinned Da Bad Guy, he already layed to rest the Dead Man; and now he even plucked the Chicken. Nobody but nobody's safe from the one and only Inter-Promotional Champion; Chris Jericho!"Mean" Gen and Lanny welcome us back from the last commercial break of the evening. They hype tonight's Main Event which will see the ECW Champion "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson in tag-team action as he teams with his protogee "The Superstar" Scott Taylor against the man he won the belt from "Macho Man" Randy Savage and Savage's own "protegeee" Steve Corino. This match was requested by Anderson himself following a heinous attack on Scott Taylor by the "Macho Man" two weeks ago when Savage made it known he's out to reclaim the Eastern Heavyweight Championship by any means necessary. Including destroying AA's friends. Lanny reminds us that when you're the World Champion you don't have any friends, just challengers that haven't turned on you yet. He suspects this is what we'll see from Scott Taylor here tonight. Gene doubts it. Just then "Pomp and Circumstance" hits as "Macho Man" Randy Savage emerges from the back with Debbie Combs and Steve Corino in tow.
Gertner: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first accompanied to the ring by "Hot Stuff" Debbie Combs at a combined weight of 490 lbs. they are the team of the "Macho Man" Randy Savage and Steve Corino!
After Savage poses for the crowd he allows Corino to enter and waits with him and referee Danny Davis until Arn Anderson appears on the ramp with the ECW Title around his waist and Scott Taylor at his side.
Gertner: And now introducing the challengers at a combined weight of 464 lbs. they are the ECW Champion "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson and "Superstar" Scott Taylor!Main Event Tag-Team Match: Randy Savage & Steve Corino vs. Arn Anderson & Taylor Once they're all inside of the ring Randy Savage begins flapping his gums at Arn Anderson, who attacks him! He knocks Randy down to the ground with a barrage of punches before putting the boots to him. Steve Corino is a little slow to help his tag-team partner and when he grabs Arn he finds himself face to face with Scott Taylor. The two young men begin hammering on one another while "Macho Man" rolls from the ring and Davis has Anderson return to his own corner. He gets the match underway as Taylor hammers Corino across the ring and takes him down to the canvas with a standing dropkick. Looking to keep on top of him Scott follows Steve as he retreats into the corner, but Corino kicks his opponent in the gut and tossing him into the corner begins hammering on "The Superstar." Scott however fights back and takes Steve down to the mat with a hard right and chases him across the ring as he retreats into the corner. Taylor mocks Corino and Steve jumps on him and the two men grapple about the ring. The two men begin throwing punches at one another again until Scott whips Steve into the corner as he bounces out hits him with a back body drop! He follows this up with not one, but two dropkicks that take Corino down to the mat! Pulling himself up with the ropes Steve looks dazed as Scott grabs ahold of him, but Corino gives him a thumb to the eye! He has been learning a thing or two from Savage. He then tags in Randy Savage! Arn wants the tag, but Randy Savage is right on top of Taylor and scooping him up from behind hits him with a suplex! He steps on Taylor for the pin and the young man kicks out at two! Randy toys with Taylor and cuts him off from Arn as he works him over showing off the entire time. Finally he lifts Scott up and whips him across the ring; but Taylor stuns him with a Tornado DDT! Both men are down, but it is Scott who gets the hot tag to "The Enforcer" first! Arn Anderson comes in like a house on fire as Savage gets to his feet and he takes him down with a clothesline! And when Randy pops back up her hits him with another! This time "Macho Man" stays down as Arn stomps the hell out of him. He beats Randy all about the ring until finally cornering him against the ropes; Savage battles back! He takes Arn down to the mat with a double axe handle and traps him in a front headlock; but Anderson uses his strength to push Savage across the ring and drive him hard into the corner. He hits him hard with several shoulder thrusts before hammering on him and then whipping him across the ring! Savage hits the corner hard and "The Enforcer" rushes in only to catch a boot to the face! As Arn reels Randy runs in only to be caught up with the spinning Spinebuster! This could be it! Arn makes the cover but Randy powers out at two! Staying on top of him Arn begins hammering on Savage as he gets up to one knee. Randy fights back and shakily gets up to his feet and the two men go at it until Arn tosses Savage into his corner. Where Steve Corino tags himself in! The two men lock up and Arn wins out taking Corino down to the mat in a side headlock. He drags him across the ring, occasionaly punching him in the skull before tagging in Scott Taylor. "The Enforcer" pulls Corino up to his feet and Scott Taylor jabs his thumb into his eye! The duo then drop Steve with a double suplex! Steve bounces up to his feet stunned and Taylor starts hammering him with chop after chop across the ring. Taylor whips Corino across the ring and takes him down with a hurrancanrana! He then drags him into the corner and climbing the turnbuckle hits Corino with a Tornado DDT! Scott goes to make the cover but Savage rushes in and kicks the crap out of him! While Taylor scrambles across the ring away from Savage, While Danny Davis is busy with Savage, Arn Anderson enters the ring illegally and treats the still recovering Steve Corino to a DDT! "The Enforcer" then leaves the ring and from the outside pulls Randy Savage off of Scott Taylor to the outside. He slams Randy head first into the guardrail and then throws him into the steel ringpost! Scott Taylor meanwhile climbs up top and goes airborne hitting a flying chop drop on Corino! He makes the cover! 1!... 2!... 3! Taylor and Anderson have won it! Arn enters the ring and celebrates with Scott Taylor for a bit when Randy Savage comes in and clubs Scott from behind with a steel chair! Arn turns just in time to take a chair thrust to the gut that doubles him over. Savage then brains him across the back of the head with it! The victors are down and out as the...
Lights Fade.

06/13/95 - Freedom Hall Louisvile, KY"Mean" Gene Okerlund and "The Genius" Lanny Poffo welcome us to Freedom Hall in scenic Louisville, Kentucky for another exciting edition of Eastern Championship Wrestling! They briefly recap last week's episode including Scott Taylor pinning Steve Corino to defeat him and Savage in the tag-team Main Event where he teamed with the ECW Champ Arn Anderson, the heinous attack on Reed and Brown's manager Slick by Von Raschke's crew; and Dustin Rhodes showing up to aide Tommy Dreamer in his match with Mongo Vyle and his co-horts in Destruction Inc. Though there was some initial confusion over the matter, it's been confirmed Dustin Rhodes does now officially work for Eastern Championship Wrestling and we'll see him in this first match of the evening.Joel Gertner makes the intros for the first match of the night.Match: Dustin Rhodes vs. Aryan von Raschke S.D. Jones officiates in this one and warns both The Baron Von Raschke and the Blitzkrieg who're hanging out at ringside. Okerlund calls Von Raschke and his crew nothing but a pack of vultures. Dustin Rhodes extends his hand before the match and Aryan goes to take it; but pulls it back at the last second and smacks Dustin in the face! The younger Von Rascke then turns toward the booing crowd and extends his hands triumphantly to egg them on. Big mistake as Rhodes spins Aryan about and lays into him driving him back across the ring and into the ropes where he sending Von Raschke across the ring with an Irish whip hitting him with a diving clothesline! Rhodes keeps on top of Aryan, dominating him until he locks him in a sleeper hold. Aryan begins to fade when The Baron jumps up on the apron! Jones goes to get him down when The Blitzkrieg climbs up on the other side! He doesn't enter, but Dustin breaks the sleeper and gets up to defend himself. When he does Aryan pops up and hits Rhodes with a low blow and schoolboys him! Jones of course didn't see it and makes the count giving Aryan the big win. After the match Blitzkrieg and The Baron enter the ring and help Aryan put the boots to Rhodes!Out from the back springs Tommy Dreamer steel chair in hand! Sliding into the ring he goes unnoticed until he lets The Blitzkrieg have it with a shot to the back of the head! As the Baron turns he takes a chair shot to the gut and hits the ground hard! Aryan only has enough time to get his hands up as Dreamer cracks him across the face. Tommy helps Dustin up to his feet as The Blitzkrieg regains his senses and comes after them when...Brickhouse Brown and Butch Reed attack "Mangler's Monster" from behind and together hit him with a suplex! Dustin Rhodes meanwhile has pulled out his flask and is sharing it victoriously with Dreamer who passes it to Brown when...Destruction Inc. hits the ring! Mongo Vyle and Rhino catches the quartet off-guard and "The Machiavellan Mauler" nails Dustin with the Mongo Masher while Rhino hits Brickouse with The Gore striking spear! Rhino then goes at it with big Butched Reed while Dreamer attacks Vyle. Soon however Aryan and The Blitzkrieg along with Von Raschke are back up on their feet and help Destruction Inc. in hammering Tommy and Butch down to the mat! Von Raschke's crew and Destruction Inc. stand victiorious as we go to...After the break we're in the hallway backstage where a medic is patching up Dustin Rhodes whose head has been busted open. Tommy Dreamer is there talking to him. In the background we see William Regal discussing something with Mike Sharpe. They're soon approached by Destruction Inc.! Dreamer turns and tells them that he doesn't mind fighting them again in the ring next week, but his friend isn't in any condition to defend himself. Vyle tells him he doesn't care about his little crybaby friend's boo boo. Rhino then chimes in telling Dreamer that if his friend didn't want to get his ass handed to him, he shouldn't have come here and interfered with their business in the first place. That Rhodes has written his own death warrant messing with Destruction Inc. Dustin looks a bit dazed and the medic attempts to stop him, but Rhodes still gets involved and tells Tommy it's alright. If these two fat pricks want a fight, he'll give them one.Just then however William Regal steps in backed up by Sharpe. He tells Destruction Inc. that if there's not going to be a fight here right now. Mongo laughs and asks him who's going to stop him. That he and "The Man-Beast" are more than up to taking out his British ass and "Mr. Clean" Sharpe here. Sir William says that he doesn't doubt that Mongo and Rhino are up to the challenge. But once again, there's not going to be a fight. Just then Rob Van Dam, Erin O'Grady, The Hughes Brothers; and Deep South join Regal forming a wall between Destruction Inc. and Dustin Rhodes. Mongo looks pissed but tells Regal okay. He gets his way... for now. Tag-Team Match: The Bayou Boys vs. The Hardy Boyz After throwing their usual hoedown before the match, Doug Gilbert starts things off with Matt Hardy. He and Cousin Jamie give the Boyz a tough match with alot of back and forth. The Bayou Boys nearly pick up the win when Jeff Hardy misses the senton bomb and Cousin Jamie lays him out with a falling DDT. Jeff however kicks out just before the three and fights his way back with Matt Hardy eventually hitting the Twist of Fate cutter on Cousin Jamie to get the three count from Danny Davis. After the break we're taken to the office of ECW President Eric Bischoff who is being paid a visit by "Hacksaw" Butch Reed, Brickhouse Brown; and their manager Slick! Slick's head is ridiculously bandaged and he's in a wheelchair. He's telling Eric to just look at him! Look what those monsters did to me! Slick demands that The Baron Von Raschke and his crew be fired. He says that what they did last week was unconscionable. That he gets the fact they're Nazis. And they don't like him or his people. But he's cool with that. They're allowed to hate whoever they damn well please. Cause Slick? He hates them too. But last week. They crossed a line. Hitting him with a damned watermelon? That's racist! What's next? Challenging his men to a fried chicken on a pole match? He wants those three gone! Today!
Eric tells him he understands completely. That he doesn't like The Baron anymore than he does. Hell. Who would? But The Blitzkrieg is the reigning Eastern States Champion so that makes it difficult to just up and get rid of him. And like Slick himself admits; they're allowed to believe whatever they want. But he agrees that they crossed a big line next week. And he'll warn them. But he understands where Slick is coming from. So what he's going to do for them; is give Butch Reed and Brickhouse Brown that Tag-Team Title shot against The Lawlers they're after. Slick looks a little assuaged but wants to know what else.
Bischoff asks if a shot for Butch Reed at the Eastern States Championship might cushion the blow?
Slick thinks it over a bit before shaking hands with Bischoff who tells him it won't be happening next week however. Because next week he's scheduled a big eight man tag-team match pairing Brown and Reed with Tommy Dreamer and Dustin Rhodes against the team of Aryan Von Raschke & The Blitzkrieg; and Destruction Inc.! Slick and his men seem pleased by this turn of events. Slick then gets up out of the wheelchair and leaves. Eric looks at the chair and shakes his head.Match: Tiffany vs. Ivory Tiffany gets some good offense early on, but Ivory catches her with a side Russian legsweep before taking over and dominating the remainder of the match. She puts Tiffany down for the three count from Jones with a sitout facebuster. After the match "Ich tu der weh" by Rammstein hits as The Baron Von Raschke appears on the ramp with The Blitzkrieg who's holding Eastern States Championship. He says that he heard about Bischoff's little deal and says that he and his charge "Mangler's Monster" remain undaunted. They say that since winning the Eastern States Championship competition has been slim. That most men are too scared to step into the ring with The Blitzkrieg. But the monster is thirsty for a challenge. For new blood to stain his already crimson stands. So if "Hacksaw" Butch Reed is fool enough to step into this squared circle with the hero of the German people; well then so be it. Because in the end The Bliztkrieg will prevail!Back from the break "White Train" by Tito & Tarantula is playing while Okerlund and Poffo remind us that next week's show will be coming to us live from the Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky. They say that while tickets for the show are sold out, the folks at home should tune in next Wednesday night right her on ECW's home station of TNN The Nashville Network. We then cut to the ring where ECW President Eric Bischoff is in the ring with Mr. Fuji and The New Orient Express. Eric tells us that he's been taking with Mr. Fuji over the past two weeks and he has a very important announcement to make regarding the ECW Title. But to that end he'd like to call down to the ring the Eastern Heavyweight Champion; "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson!Arn's music hits and the Champ appears on the ramp with his black leather jacket and the Title about his waist. He gets a huge pop as he heads down to the ring. He enters and Bischoff thanks Arn for joining him. Bischoff then begins talking about how back on May 30th two weeks ago, that in a Tag-Team match Masato Tanaka pinned Anderson. He says that Tanaka's manager Mr. Fuji has since requested a Title shot for his charge and that in accordance with the rules; Eric Bischoff has granted him just that. And that in two weeks on March 27th; "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson will face Masato Tanaka for the ECW Title! Arn gets on the mic and says that he doesn't have a problem with that. He says that Tanaka proved to be one hell of a competitor in that match. Even if Mr. Fuji helped him out a little. And he'll have no problem proving who the better man is in West Virginia. You can bet on that.Just then "Pomp and Circumstance" hits and out comes the "Macho Man" Randy Savage from the back going "Whoa, whoa, whoa." Now Savage has no problem with Mazato Tanakaka or whoever getting a shot at that there Title. Dig. But only, only after the "Macho Man" gets one first. Eric goes to talk, but Arn says he'll handle this. He tells Randy that he wouldn't have a problem facing him. And putting him down once again for the Title. But he lost that chance last week when his friend Scott Taylor pinned Steve Corino during their Tag-Team match. And if he has a problem with that, well then he should have a word with his "protegee."
Savage laughs and says that they've already had a handful of words. Yeah. But Randy is glad that "The Enforcer" brought that little fact up. Cause y'see, Arn never pinned the "Macho Man." Dig it. Sure "The Macho One" lost, but he didn't go down for the 1-2-3. Oh no. "Macho Man" was not defeated. And to that end, Randy Savage wants. No demands! A Title shot. And just to prove what a fluke that punk kid Taylor defeating Steve Corino was; Randy wants a match next week. Dig. Steve Corino against Scott Taylor. Protegee again portegee. With the winning team getting to chose the stipulation for the World Title match between "Macho Man" Randy Savage and the Champ "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson! Can you dig that?
Arn seems to think it over a bit before telling Randy he can dig that. He'll get his chance at the belt. But only once Masato Tanaka has had his. So "Macho Man" had better get his ass prepared. Because next week Scott Taylor WILL defeat Steve Corino; and two weeks from then on July 4th; "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson WILL be granting the "Macho Man" Randy Savage his independence. From his job. Because when Taylor wins; Arn's stipulation is going to be a Loser Leaves Town Match! After this we're brought backstage where Beulah McGillicutty looks upset. She is wearing a hat to cover up what Luna and Doink did to her last week. Sir William Regal tells her not to worry about it. She still looks gorgeous. And that soon neither of them will have to worry about Luna and Doink. Cause regal has a plan. This seems to cheer her up as they head out to the ring.Match: William Regal vs. Doink the Clown Danny Davis starts the match and William Regal goes right for the face of Doink the Clown and tries to tear off his mask! The Cown manages to wiggle free; but Regal scoops him up from behind and nails a back body drop. He puts the boots to Doink before climbing on top of him and attempts to pull his face off again! When his opponent struggles to free himself, Regal begins hammering him in the face and then locks in the Camel Clutch! Doink screams in pain but rallies and fights his way to his feet with Sir William still hanging on with the hold locked in! Regal rips at Doink's face as The Clown attempts to shake him off. When this proves unsuccesful Doink backs up fast into the corner squashing Regal! Doink wanders off to readjust his mask before running back into the corner with a boot to Regal's face. From there he takes over for a bit; but when Doink hoists him up into the air for the running powerbomb in the corner; Regal fights back and takes The Clown down with a hurrancanrana! Keeping on top of Doink, Regal hammers the Clown as he rises to one knee. Doink manages to fight his way back to his feet and the two men battle back and forth for a bit before Luna Vachon jumps up onto the apron and grabbing an angry Danny Davis, plants a wet one on him! Davis looks utterly disgusted, even after "Mad Dog" lets him go; but the damage is done as Doink the Clown pokes Regal in both eyes and then hits him with a facebuster. As Regal tries to regain his footing and sight; Doink removes his shoe and lets William have it with The Heel Turn! Vachon lets Davis go and he spits about the ring for a bit before making the count. After the match Beulah McGillicutty attempts to come in and help Regal; but Luna Vachon and Doink the Clown chase her out of the ring and up the ramp into the back.Match: Jerry Lawler vs. Joe E. Legend Joe E. Legend makes his debut on the main show in this match where he puts up a decent fight against Jerry "The King" Lawler. Lanny thinks that the stench of Canadians in ECW is becoming a bit overpowering. Enough is enough. In the end however Jerry crowns Legend with the Piledriver for the win from S.D. Jones.Match: Erin O'Grady vs. Rob Van Dam Rob Van Dam and "The Leprechaun" Erin O'Grady have met numerous times here in ECW and with each match they've upped the ante just a bit more. This time halfway through Erin O'Grady has rolled from the ring after being hit by a hurrancanrana by "Mr. Wednesday Night" who charges across the ring and throws himself over the top rope into a suicide dive onto "The Leprechaun"! Both men crash and burn, but RVD gets up first a lifting O'Grady to his feet attempts to smash him face first into the steel guardrail. Erin blocks it and fights out with an elbow to the face before jumping up onto the guardrail and flipping over Van Dam whom he scoops up for a snap suplex tossing the former Eastern States Champ! The two men battle on and back inside with Erin getting a two count off a Tornado DDT and Van Dam getting a nearfall following the Rolling Thunder. Back on the outside late in the match a frustrated Rob Van Dam grabs a steel chair and throws it at Erin going for the Van Daminator! O'Grady however sidesteps it and Rob slams his foot into the steel ringpost instead! Rob hobbles about for a bit trying to regain his footing; but the damage is done as O'Grady hits the Lucky Charm double underhook implant DDT on the outside! Van Dam is out of it as "The Leprechaun" rolls him back inside and climbing up top hits a moonsault! Erin O'Grady makes the cover! Davis makes the count! 1!... 2!... 3! O'Grady has won it! He places two gold coins on the eyes of RVD after picking up possibly the biggest win of his career so far. After the match we're brought toa pre-recorded segment on the big screen where we hear "You're the Best Around" by Joe Espositio as "The Long Island Loud-Mouth" and Inter-Promotional Champion Chris Jericho appears on -screen proudly showing off his Title! He tells us he's in Palmetto, Florida outside the Manatee Civic Center on June 11th where Jericho informs us that he made a deal with a certain WWF superstar who likes to say "Everybody has his price" to let him in the backdoor cause tonight it's Vader Time baby! Chris brashly walks up to the front door where a seedy looking backstage guy opens it up and he asks Jericho if he's the guy The Million Dollar Man said was coming. "The Loud-Mouth" looks insulted and questions him how he could be so stupid he doesn't recognize the one, the only Inter-Promotional Champion! The guy looks puzzled but says "yeah, you're him" and lets Jericho in. He strides down the hallway for a bit where we hear the very familiar laughter of a certain "Ted DiBiase" who tells the cameraman make sure he doesn't get his face on camera. Jericho looks surprised to see him but thanks Ted for coming to escort him to Vader in person. DiBiase chuckles again and says that he's here to escort him alright. But not to the ring. He then gives a signal and a group of men grab Chris! "The Loud-Mouth" is extremely insulted and asks DiBiase what in the hell he's doing?! Ted tells him that he only accepted an offer to let him into the building. NOT to let him stay.
The next shot we see is the door Chris Jericho entered to flung open as he's thrown out of it! The Inter-Promotional Champ looks pissed but says he's undeterred. If those losers in the WWF are afraid to accept a challenge from a true Champion; then he'll find someone else who's not! And he has just the guy in mind? He's heard he's in the area after all. So he's going to challenge. Who you ask? World Heavyweight Boxing Champ; George Foreman of course! We next wee a normal backyard where kids are running during a barbecue where George Foreman is busy cooking some burgers. The peaceful scene is soon interrupted by the appearance of "The Long Island Loud-Mouth" Chris Jericho who goes from climbing the picket fence, to knocking it over; and crashing the party! "What the hell?" Foreman stops cooking to go inspect the problem. He asks "The Loud-Mouth" what he's doing? And Jericho tells him that George already knows why he's here. To challenge him to a match for the Inter-Promotional Championship of course! Jericho puts up his fists to fight Foreman. But George says he isn't fighting Jericho in his backyard. But if he wants he can come join his family for a burger. He says that little George is a big fan. He then returns to the grill to cook. "The Loud-Mouth" looks a bit miffed but then asks George if that a George Foreman Grill he's using? Foreman tells him of course it is and the camera pans down to show it. Jericho grins wide and says he has a better idea. Foreman may not want to box him; but how about a grill off! George laughs and says he'd be cool with that. Just one problem. There's only one grill. Chris says that's no problem at all and running off-camera comes back with a monstrous machine he calls the Chris Jericho Grill! Patent Pending. Foreman's eyes bug out of his head and he asks Chris if he just carries that around with him; to which Jericho replies of course. He never leaves home without it.
What follows is a a montage of Foreman and Jericho using their respective grills to cook burgers, hot dogs; and chicken for the family. At first the race is close; but soon Jericho's machine begins out-cooking Foreman's a hundred to one and the food really begins piling up! Finally George Foreman stops him and says that it's okay. He's just going to concede defeat before his house is burried in hamburgers! To this Chris Jericho does his cocky victory dance around the yard, screaming how he's still the undisputed Inter-Promotional Champ while George and his family look on rolling their eyes at their crazy guest.Okerlund and Poffo welcome us back from the last commercial break of the night. They talk about tonight's Main Event; particularly ECW Champion Arn Anderson. Lanny thinks that "The Enforcer" is being a tad foolish in giving "Macho Man" Randy Savage another Title shot, let alone one just a week after he defends against Masato Tanaka. But even stupider according to "The Genius" is letting his fate be decided by that twit Scott Taylor in a match against Steve Corino. He says that if he knows Savage at all; he's up to no good. And letting his choose the stipulation is a sure segway to disaster. Okerlund isn't so sure. He says that one should never underestimate young Scott Taylor who did pin Corino last week. And AA has proven he knows what he's doing as the ECW Champ. He might be letting the thought of ridding himself of the "Macho Man" once and for all cloud his judgment a little; but he's sure "The Enforcer" wouldn't have accepted the challenge if he wasn't sure he was up to the task.
Gertner: The following non-Title contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first from Toronto, Ontario, Canada weighing 212 lbs.; "The Suicide Blonde" Christian Cage!
As Christian enters the ring with referee S.D. Jones Lanny says this match proves two things to him. One: There are two many damned Canadians in ECW; and Two: Showing up for tonight's match? Proves Christian Cage is indeed a SUICIDAL blonde. The ECW Champion Arn Anderson then appears on the ramp with the Title around his waist.
Gertner: And now introducing at this time from Rome, Georgia weighing 255 lbs.; he is the Eastern Heavyweight Champion "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson!Main Event: Arn Anderson vs. Christian Cage Young Christian Cage is out of his league. He puts up a fight, but not much of one as the Champion works him over before Arn Anderson locks in the figure four leglock which has Christian tapping in no time.
Lights Fade.

06/20/95 - The Rupp Arena Lexington, KY"Mean" Gene Okerlund and "The Genius" Lanny Poffo welcome us to the Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky for another exciting edition of Eastern Championship Wrestling! They then recap last week's show in which a brutal brawl broke out amongst the factions of Destruction Inc., Von Raschke's Ubermensch and the teams of Tommy Dreamer & Dustin Rhodes and Butch Reed & Brickhouse Brown. All four of which will meet in a huge 8-man Tag-Team match later tonight. They also discuss two upcoming ECW Title matches on the horizon with Heavyweight Champ "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson facing Masato Tanaka for the belt next week and if he should win, "The Macho Man" Randy Savage at our huge Fourth of July show. In addition to those two huge matches being announced last week, Anderson also accepted Savage's challenge which leads to tonight's big Main Event in which their protogees "The Superstar" Scott Taylor and Steve Corino will meet for the right to choose the stipulation in Savage and Anderson's match two weeks from now. And "The Enforcer" has already gone on record that should Taylor win, he's challenging Savage to a Loser Leaves Town match! Okerlund says he couldn't imagine ECW without either man. Poffo on the otherhand can imagine Eastern Championship just fine without the "Macho Chump." The word peaceful comes to mind.
Joel Gertner then makes the intros for the first match of the evening; with the Women's Title on the line!Women's Title Match: Luna Vachon vs. Beulah McGillicutty Referee Danny Davis officiates the one and warns both Doink the Clown and Sir William Regal to behave themselves at ringside before starting the match. Beulah McGillicutty did the best to salvage what was left of her hair since last week, but is still quite fired up and ready to take Luna Vachon out like she did two weeks ago. "Mad Dog" is no slouch and the two Women battle back and forth with several nearfalls on both side. Late in the match Vachon hits Beulah Luna Bomb corner slingshot Spash and gets a near three when McGillicutty shocks the crowd by kicking out at the last second. Luna tries to keep her opponent down with a full nelson, but Beulah battles back and hits a sitout jawbreaker stunning the Champ before running back to the ropes looking to gain some momentum for a clothesline. But Doink trips her! McGillicutty hits the ground and William Regal jumps up on the apron pointing out the offense to Davis. The ref however only sees Regal's involvement and orders him down which gives The Clown just enough time to toss his shoe into the ring where Luna Vachon grabs it and nails Beulah McGillicutty with the heel turn! A three count later and it's all over with Regal apologizing to McGillicutty. She seems more pissed at Luna though and the two women yell at one another as Vachon takes her Title and heads back up the ramp with Doink.Tag-Team Match: The Hardy Boyz vs. Deep South Deep South dominate the early portion of the match working over Matt Hardy whom they isolate in their corner with several quick tags. Dick Murdoch hits the Calf Branding off the top and makes the cover. 1!... 2!... Jeff Hardy makes the save with a diving guillotine legdrop onto "Captain Redneck" breaking the cover! Jeff battles Murdoch for a bit while Matt recovers and the Hardy Boyz take turns hitting an assisted Whisper in the Wind on him. This is too much for the Junkyard Dog who comes in swinging and takes Jeff Hardy over the top rope with a huge clothesline! He turns to take out Matt as well; but Hardy connects with a standing dropkick that knocks JYD from the ring! Dick Murdoch meanwhile has recovered and is getting back to his feet when Matt Hardy kicks him in the gut and hits the Twist of Fate cutter! He makes the cover, S.D. Jones makes the count; and The Hardy Boyz pick up the win. After the break "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson is talking to Scott Taylor when "The Diabolical One" Mr. Fuji approaches them with The New Orient Express. Fuji mocks Anderson calling him the honored American Super-Heavyweight. He goes on to tell him and Taylor that they shouldn't be too worried about "The Superstar" winning his match tonight. Because next week his man, the Japanese powerhouse Masato Tanaka will defeat Anderson and become the new ECW Champion, rendering tonight's match obsolete. Which is exactly what Tanaka will also do on his first defense of the Title the following week, when he destroys the "Macho Man" Randy Savage. Mwahaha!
Arn Anderson faces down Fuji and tells him that he can talk all he wants. But next week only two men are going to matter in that match. The ECW Champion AA Arn Anderson and Masato Tanaka. And while "The Enforcer" knows it's going to be a tough fight, he also know it's one he can win. But he wishes Tanaka the best of luck. Cause he's gonna need it. He then extends his hand to Masato who doesn't take it, but looks at him with contempt before walking off with the rest of the Express.Match: Spike Hughes vs. Buck Zumhoff"Rock 'N Roll" Buck Zumhoff comes to the ring with the ECW Light Heavyweight Championship which makes it's first appearance on the main show. While this is a non-Title match, Spike Hughes wants one and brings his A-game, getting a two count with the diving double foot stomp off the top and a nearfall when he hits Zumhoff with a Tornado DDT. Buck gives as good as he gets and in the end puts Spike away with the "Rocking and Rolling" sprinboard DDT. After Danny Davis raises his hand in victory, Buck Zumhoff dances for the crowd.Lanny and Gene welcome us back from the break before remind us that next week Eastern Championship Wrestling will be coming to us live from the Huntington Civic Center in Huntington, West Virginia where the ECW Title will be on the line when "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson squares off against one-half of the New Orient Express; Masato Tanaka! They say that while this show has recently sold out, those folks at home can tune in right here on ECW's home station of TNN The Nashville Network as usual!8-Man Tag-Team Match: Dustin Rhodes, Tommy Dreamer, Butch Reed, & Brickhouse Brown vs. Aryan von Raschke, The Blitzkrieg, Mongo Vyle, & Rhino Mongo Vyle and Rhino don't seem to be too happy about being on the same side as Von Raschke's crew; but after some arguing "The Machiavellan Mauler" enters the ring and throws up his hands challenging them to do something about it. Tommy Dreamer however grabs him by the shoulder, spins Mongo about and busts him in the chops. S.D. Jones starts the match as Dreamer hammers the big man into the ropes before going for an Irish whip! A whip Vyle reverses sending Tommy across the ring and setting him up for a big back body drop! With Dreamer rolling into enemy territory, Mongo grabs the top rope and begins putting the boots to him before lifting him up by the hair and busting him in the face. He then tags in Rhino and the duo set "The Innovator of Violence" up for the Death Drop flapjack/cutter combo!
Dustin Rhodes however hits the ring and makes the save! This causes an all-out brawl as the other two teams spill into the ring and Jones attempts to restore some order. The good guys look like they're in trouble for a bit, but when The Blitzkrieg goes to chokeslam Brickhouse Brown, Butch Reed makes the save and the duo clothesline "Mangler's Monster" from the ring! Dustin Rhodes meanwhile has seated Rhino in the corner and kicks him in the crotch. Jones finally gets things settled a bit and Dreamer tags out to Butch Reed. "Hacksaw" dominates Rhino fo a bit before making the cover after a gorilla press slam on "The Man-Beast!" He makes the cover and in comes Aryan von Raschke with a diving elbow to make the save!
He begins punching and chopping Butch who no-sells the assault as he gets back up to his feet and he pushes Aryan across the ring! The Baron screams for The Blitzkrieg to destroy him and "The Monster" charges in! The two big men go at it and all the participants spill back into the ring! This time The Blitzkrieg and Mongo Vyle clear the ring of their opponents, with only Butch Reed remaining and the duo work him over a bit before hitting the Death Drop flapjack/cutter! Butch is hurt but he gets back to his feet only to see Rhino charge across the ring and hit him with The Gore striking spear! In full control now Aryan pulls "Hacksaw" up to his feet and nails him with lifting DDT! The three men then get out on the apron and Rhino makes the cover. 1!...2!....thr- Butch Reed kicks out!
Reed rallies back a bit, but Rhino keeps on top of him, dominating "Hacksaw" until he manages to tag in Dustin Rhodes! "The Man-Beast" looks happy to be face the man who crotched him earlier the two men are pretty evenly matched as the battle back and forth until Dustin nails him with a running bulldog. With Rhino down Rhodes takes over and has the match well in-hand when he attempts a snap scoop powerslam pin; but Rhino slides out and pushes Dustin across the ring into the ropes where Aryan lets him have it with a hard right! As Dustin reels from the blow, Rhino tags out to Aryan! Aryan comes charging in as Rhodes, but he makes it to his corner and tags in Brickhouse Brown! "The Man of the Hour" attacks Aryan and drives him back into his corner, which proves to be a mistake when The Blitzkrieg grabs him in a full nelson. With Brown held down, Aryan begins hammering on his opponent and pulling him away at Davis' insistence, he hits him in the face with several knees to the face before laying him out with a suplex and making the cover! 1!...
Butch Reed charges in and makes the save stomping on Aryan who rolls away as both teams spill into the ring! Brickhouse Brown recovers and finds Aryan and the two men go at it while S.D. Jones restores order once again. The two men are battling back and forth when Aryan pulls Brickhouse in for a DDT! But Brickhouse blocks it and counters with a swinging neckbreaker! He makes the cover as their opponents once again charge in to make the save, but he's closer to his corner and Reed, Dreamer; & Rhodes fend them off as Brickhouse Brown picks up the three count for his team. All eight men continue to brawl as ECW goes to... Back from break we're in the office of ECW President Eri Bischoff who is going over some paperwork when he's interrupted by the Tag-Team Champions The Lawlers! Brian Lawler immediately asks Eric what the hell he was thinking when he went and gave Butch Reed and Brickhouse Brown a shot at their belts. They've already got the damned New Orient Express and "Macho Man" Randy Savage an that protegee of his to worry about. Now they've gotta fights Slick's gang too?! He wants to know why Eric is stacking the deck against them. Jerry Lawler tells him to calm down.
Bischoff tells him to calm down too. He says he understands what Brian is saying, though he doesn't really agree with his tone of voice. But this isn't all his fault. The Lawlers are the ones who lost to both the New Orient Express and Savage. Not him. Still, he's been considering the best way to handle all these Title shots. And he thinks he's come to the perfect solution. In two weeks at the University of Dayton Arena on July 11th, the Eastern Tag-Team Champions The Lawlers will defend the Titles against "Macho Man" Randy Savage and Steve Corino... AND The New Orient Express... AND Brickhouse Brown and Butch Reed... in a Tag-Team Fatal Four-Way!
Now it's Jerry's turn to get pissed. "The King" says that Bischoff's proposal is ridiculous. How can they ben expected to defend their Titles like that? Hell, Jerry or Brian wouldn't even have to get pinned themselves. That isn't fair.
Eric looks at Jerry for a moment before telling Lawler he's right. He hadn't thought of that. So how about this? He's going to go through with the match... but how's about a Tag-Team elimination match instead? This way both Jerry AND Brian would have to get pinned or submit before they'd lose the belts. Jerry sighs and says that sounds better. He then shakes hands with Eric and has a reluctant Brian do the same.Match: Steve Blackman vs. Sexton HardcastleSteve Blackman comes to the ring with his manager Captain Lou Albano who hypes up "The Silent Assassin" and rallies the fans. Sexton Hardcastle then slides in the ring and Danny Davis starts the match. It isn't a long one. Hardcastle gets in a good bit of offense, but Blackman mostly dominates him before putting him away with the bridged Fisherman's suplex."You're the Best Around" by Joe Espisito is playing as Chris Jericho swaggers down the ramp. He's holding the Inter-Promotional Title over his shoulder with one hand and a meatball hero in the other?! Inside the ring he gets the microphone from Joel Gertner. He tells us that as a fighting Champion, he travels all over the world to face the toughest competitors in the business. And that this past Saturday he found himself in a rinky dink promotional known as Memphis X-Treme Pro Wrestling. Now Memphis? It ain't exactly close to the water. So just imagine "The Long Island Loud-Mouth's" surprise when he was challenged by a regular beach bum. He takes a bite out of his sandwich as we're taken to the big screen. Memphis X-Treme Pro Wrestling Prerecorded Match: Chris Jericho vs. Don Muraco Chris Jericho is busy berating the fans in The New Daisy Theater about their crap choice in promotions to watch, which is only to be outdone by their choice of cities to live in. He challenges anyone in the back who's man enough to step in the ring with him for a match for the Inter-Promotional Championship! Within reason of course. He doesn't want to face someone who sucks and he did see Buck Zumhoff wrestling earlier.
He gets his wish when out from the back comes "Magnificent" Don Muraco who has his Family of Don Montoya and "Boom Boom" Bundy with him! He says that Jericho is nothin' more than a punk and that when there's nothing better on the telly he flips on ECW. And then he ends up turning it right off because there's this dink from Long Island running his yap. Again and again. So he'd be more than happy to shut him up. Jericho takes a look at his crew and attempts to back out of it; but the former X-Treme Pro Champ heads down to the ring and explodes all over Jericho!
Referee Frank Parker starts the match before warning Montoya and Bundy to keep out of it. Once Chris Jericho recovers from the initial attack the two men have a hard hitting match that tests Don Muraco's superior strength against Jericho's speed. We only see the highlights, but the two men have pulled out all the stops in this one with Muraco pulling out a very theatrical military press slam, a diving headbutt, the Samoan Drop; and the Asiatic Spike on "The Loud-Mouth." Chris battles back and gives as good as he gets with the springboard moonsault, the elevated Boston Crab, a springboard dropkick that sends Muraco off the apron onto the floor; and a suicide dive onto the entire Family once "Magnificent" is on the outside! Speaking of Bundy and Montoya, they do their best to help The Don win the Title; and Chris Jericho who's already drenched the ring in his own blood by this time falls victim to the Muraco Hammer kneeling reverse piledriver! And it might've ended there.Except down to ringside rushed Muraco's dreaded rival "The Superfly!" Jimmy Snuka begins pounding on Bundy and Montoya distracting Parker from making the count! Grabbing the ref Don Muraco begins arguing with him allowing Chris enough time to get back to his feet! Charging Muraco Jericho pushes the surprised "Maginificent One" into the ropes and on the rebound drops him with a picture perfect dropkick! From there Chris Jericho climbs up top and mimics Jimmy Snuka who after laying Bundy out with a steel chair is chasing Don Monotoya through the crowd! And Chris Jericho goes airborne hitting Don Muraco with the Superfly Splash! He makes the cover and picks up the win!
We're then taken back to the ECW ring where Chris Jericho is clapping for himself. Apparently he already hate his hero. He tells us that we don't have to tell him, cause he already knows how impressive he is. And if you're feeling sorry for that Muraco guy? Fuggedaboutit! Jericho hears being he failed as a wrestler Don's falling back on his acting career again. So be sure to be on the look out for The Fuji World or My Fuji-Called Life on MTV soon. That channel seems to be a haven for such craptacular programming.Okerlund and Poffo welcome us back from the last commercial break of the evening. They talk a bit about the rivalry between ECW Champion "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson and "Macho Man" Randy Savage that's done nothing but heat up since the initial broadcast of Eastern Championship Wrestling. And how tonight that rivalry falls squarely on the shoulders of these two young athletes, their protegees "The Superstar" Scott Taylor and Steve Corino. The talk about Savage's challenge last week which Arn excepted. A Title match on July 4th at the Wheeling Civic Center in Wheeling West Virginia. Tonight's match set up at the same time to determine the stipulation of that very match. Arn Anderson has stated he intends to pick a Loser Leaves Town match should Scott Taylor win here tonight. As for what the "Macho Man" would want? He's remained quiet on the issue. One thing is for certain however; we have been informed that both Arn Anderson and Randy Savage have been banned from ringside tonight as per the instructions of ECW President Eric Bischoff. If either man appears, it will mean an automatic DQ for their side. Pomp and Circumstance then hits.
Gertner: The following match is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first from Sea Isle City, New Jersey weighing in at 242 lbs.; he is Steve Corino!
Corino appears on the ramp and heads down to the ring where he waits with referee S.D. Jones. Just then "Welcome to the Jungle" by Guns 'N Roses hits announcing the arrival of...
Gertner: And introducing his opponent this evening from Westbrook, Maine weighing 219 lbs.; he is "The Superstar" Scott Taylor!Main Event: Steve Corino vs. Scott Taylor Scott Taylor extends his hand to Steve Corino at the start of the match, but Corino smacks it away and Taylor lets him have it! He pounds him back toward the ropes. Corino fires back knocking Taylor down to the canvas and when "The Superstar" gets back up he takes him down again. Getting down on one knee Steve begins hammering on Scott! Pulling him up to his feet Corino lets Taylor have it again before clotheslining him from the ring! Steve follows him out and as Scott gets up he smashes him face first into the steel ringpost! Corino is all fired up as he continues the assault on the outside throwing Taylor into the steel steps and right over the guardrail! Spilling into the audience Corino continues to beat on Scot before he throws him back over the guardrail and slides into the ring to break the count. Corino comes back outside right away, but Taylor has had the breather he needed and begins battling back, smashing Corino's face into the announcer's table!
He then walks him over to the steel steps where he returns the favor by smashing Steve face first into them. And Steve breaks open! He beats on a stunned Corino some more before tossing him over the guardrail into the audience! Climbing over he begins hammering on Steve whom he throws into the guardrail before attempting to powerbomb him right then and there! Steve however has other plans and blocking the move uses a back body drop to dump "The Superstar" right back over the guardrail! Then jumping up perching on the guardrail himself; Corino waits for Scott to stumble up to his feet and takes him down with a leaping clothesline! Neither man gets up right away, but Steve Corino is back up first and lifting Scott Taylor up to his feet he rolls him into the ring. Following his opponent inside, Steve locks in a headlock and begins working over Taylor's neck. Letting Scott drop to the ground Corino hits a leg drop to the back of his neck before pulling him up to his feet and hitting an atomic drop! Taylor is looking in a bad way as Steve makes the cover. 1!...2!..
Scott kicks out! Still in control Corino lifts Scott up to his feet and whips him across the ring, setting him up for a clothesline but Taylor ducks it; and comes flying back with a desperation forearm smash! Both men go down to the mat but "The Superstar" is up first. Scott puts the boots to Corino for a bit before catching his breath. He then walks back over to Steve and jumping up delivers a boot to his face! He follows this up with a fist drop before helping Stev to his feet and whipping him hard into the corner. He then tosses him out of the ring! Climbing out onto the apron Scott somersaults out on top of a just recovering Corino! Up first he begins laying into Steve for a bit while taking a little time out to exchange some high fives with the fans. He then knees Corino in the face before letting him have it with a sitout facebuster right there on the floor! He then lifts Steve up to his feet and rolls him inside where he goes up top and comes down with a high-impact chop drop on the downed Corino! He makes the cover! This is it! 1!... 2!...
Corino kicks out! Keeping on top of his opponent Scott hammers Steve's face a bit as he gets to one knee before catching him in a front facelock. He can't keep Steve down as Corino rallies back and hits him with a bridging cradle suplex! 1!... 2!.. Scott kicks out!
Back up on his feet Steve begins stomping and elbow dropping Taylor knees and attempts to lock him in the figur four! Taylor however manages to kick free before the hold can be locked in and kip-upping hits the Superkick! Taylor falls back to the canvas and is unable to capitalize while Corino is out cold. The two men begin to stir with "The Superstar" back up first and lifting Steve to his feet he goes for the whip. On the rebound however he ducks to early and stopping himself Steve kicks Taylor in the face! The two men continue to battle back and forth for a bit until Scott catches Steve with a scoop front powerslam and once again heads up top. He hits a flying crossbody just as Steve gets to his feet, but Corino rolls through with the cover! 1!... 2!
Taylor kicks out! The two men pop back up and the duo begin throwing punches in the middle of the ring! Eventually Scott gets the better of Corino and hits a side Russian legsweep taking him down to the mat. From there he begins working over Steve's legs. He keeps on top of Corino for a good while before locking in the Figue Four leglock! Steve begins screaming in pain! But he fights it! Corino attempts to turn over, but Scott isn't giving him an inch. But with a sudden burst of strenght Steve does it! He flips Taylor over! But the "The Superstar" quickly grabs the ropes breaking the hold. Corino can barely stand as Scott pulls him up to his feet and begins hammering on him in the corner. He whips him hard into the opposing corner taking the wind out of Corino! Scott grabs him and hits the DDT! He makes the cover! 1!... 2!...
Corino kicks out! A frustrated Taylor then lifts Steve up to his feet and tosses him with a suplex! He jumps on Steve again. 1!... 2!...
Corino kicks out! Taylor pulls Steve up and hits him with a backbreaker over one knee! "The Superstar" goes up top while Steve starts to stir. When suddenly S.D. Jones is grabbed from behind by...The Junkyard Dog?! JYD who's up on the apron hits Jones with a massive heabutt before he has time to react and goes down hard! He barks and beats his chest while Dick Murdoch climbs up on the apron and pushes Scott Taylor; crotching him?! "Captain Redneck" then climbs up top himself and hits Taylor with a superplex!!! Murdoch in a rage begins putting the boots to Taylor, but The Dog gabs him and together Deep South hurries out of the ring and back up the ramp!
Meanwhile back inside the ring a dazed Steve Corino sees Scott Taylor down on the ground and glances over at S.D. Jones before grabs "The Superstar" by both legs and stomping him in the groin! He then locks in the figure four leglock! Jones is out but stirring and Corino really puts on the pressure by grabbing the ropes! He tugs on Scott's legs and as S.D. Jones gets up, Steve lets go of the ropes. By this time Scott has had enough and taps out! Steve Corino has won the match! Steve himself has trouble standing as his hand is held up high in victory as the...

06/27/95 - Huntington Civic Center Huntington, WV"Mean" Gene Okerlund and "The Genius" Lanny Poffo welcome us to another exciting edition of Eastern Championship Wrestling! Tonight coming to you live from the Huntington Civic Center in Huntington, West Virginia; which according to Lanny is far too close to Canada for his liking. They then briefly recap last week's show including Brickhouse Brown picking up the win in a big 8 man tag-team match where he pinned Aryan von Raschke, Luna Vachon cheating to retain her Title using the Heel Turn on Beulah McGillicutty; and Steve Corino defeating Scott Taylor in the main event, thanks in no small part to the interference by Deep South. "The Genius" of course didn't see a thing. He reminds us that the winner of that match's side got to decide on the stipulation in the upcoming ECW Title Match next week between ECW Champ "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson and "Macho Man" Randy Savage! Okerlund is sure we'll hear from Savage about that issue later tonight.
They then hype tonight's card which will see both the big Titles here in ECW defended as "Hacksaw" Butch Reed challenges "Mangler's Monster" The Blitzkrieg. That one is sure to be ugly. And in tonight's huge Main Event ECW Champ "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson will face the man who pinned him several weeks ago as he goes one on one with Masato Tanaka of The New Orient Express with the Title on the line! But first thing's first as we start with a number one contender's match for the Women's Championship where former Women's Champ Beulah McGillicutty will face off against Ivory, who's been undefeated since signing up with ECW!
Joel Gertner handles the intros.# 1 Contender's Match Match: Ivory vs. Beulah McGillicutty Beulah McGillicutty isn't going down without a fight in this match officiated by Danny Davis, getting a two count on Ivory after hitting the Beulahsault and stunning the crowd by kicking out of the Moretti Driver just before the three. In the end however the former Women's Champ gets planted with the Poison Ivory sitout facebuster and goes down for the count as Ivory continues her winning streak and earns her first shot at the Title. After the break we see ECW correspondent Terri Runnels talking with "Captain Redneck" Dick Murdoch who seems pretty happy with himself about robbing little Scott Taylor of his big night last week. In fact he'd go so far as to...He never finishes the sentence as he's jumped from behind by Taylor! Scott slams Murdoch face first into the wall busting him open before dropping him onto the concrete with a side-Russian legsweep! Dick is down as "The Superstar" begins putting the boots to him while yelling at him. He spits on his downed enemy as we're brought back to ringside.Match: Rob Van Dam vs. Devon Hughes Rob Van Dam and Devon Hughes are pretty evenly matched as they battle back and forth with several nearfalls by both. The match spills out of the ring after RVD sends Devon over the ropes with a dropkick. He then runs the ropes and charging across the ring lands a suicide dive onto Hughes! On the outside Devon takes a beating before taking control after hitting Rob with a leaping shoulder block that sends him crashing back into the steel steps! He works "Mr. Wednesday Night" over for a bit before rolling him into the ring where he climbs up top and goes for the diving headbutt! Van Dam sees it coming however and rolls out of the way just in time. From there RVD dominates most of the match before getting whipped across the ring by Devon Hughes whom he hits with a jumping corkscrew roundhouse kick on the rebound! Hughes hits the ground hard and Rob Van Dam makes the cover, picking up the win from referee S.D. Jones.Back from the break we see Sir William Regal who is creeping around a corner in a very spy-like manner. He sneaks up to a dressing room door and slowly opens it. As the door closes behind him we see on the door that the dressing room belong to Doink the Clown?! Inside the dressing room we hear a shower running as Regal searches about. From within the shower we hear some very disturbing noises including some singing from the Clown and some dirty talk from Luna Vachon. William seems disgusted, but soon finds what he's been looking for. Doink's gym bag! He takes it and hurries outside, letting the door slam behind him. As Regal makes his escape, the camera stays on the door where we here Luna ask who's there? Followed by Doink's voice screaming about how somebody just stole his makeup bag!Match: Steve Blackman vs. Doink the Clown Captain Lou Albano is inside the ring with his charge Steve Blackman and referee Danny Davis. Albano is hyping his man to the crowd, telling them that he doesn't blame Doink the Clown for being late, that it takes a certain kind of man to laugh in the face of death. Something that "The Silent Assassin" Steve Blackman never has to do. Cause he finds nothing funny about his own reflection. After several minutes of hearing Albano ramble on, Danny Davis calls the match, awarding it to Steve Blackman by forefeit.Okerlund and Poffo welcome us back before reminding us that next week ECW will be coming to us live from the Wheeling Civic Center in Wheeling, West Virginia and that while tickets for the show are sold out, that those folks at home can view all the action right here on Eastern Championship's home station of TNN The Nashville Network as usual. "Ich tu der weh" by Rammstein then assaults the arena as The Blitzkrieg appears on the ramp with the Eastern States Title thrown over his shoulder. He is accompanied by The Baron von Raschke and his son Aryan.Eastern States Championship: The Blitzkrieg vs. Butch Reed "Hacksaw" Butch Reed has his own entourage, heading to the ring with his tag-team partner Brickhouse Brown and their manager "The Doctor of Style" Slick. S.D. Jones starts the match and from the get-go it's more of a brawl than a wrestling match as The Blitzkrieg and Butch Reed collide in the middle of the ring. "Mangler's Monster" gets the drop on Reed early on and dominates Butch whom he puts down with a vicious chokeslam! Blitzkrieg is out to hurt Reed however and doesn't even make the cover. This gives "Hacksaw" the chance to rally back and he staggers the Monster with several shoulder tackles before doing the unthinkable and takes The Blitzkrieg off his feet nailing the big man with a spinebuster! He makes the cover! 1!... 2!... Blitzkrieg kicks out! Reed attempts to keep "Mangler's Monster" down hitting him with a double dose of elbow drops before he begins hammering on The Blitzkrieg who keeps coming, fighting his way up to one knee and then his feet! The two men begin throwing punches in the middle of the ring when The Blitzkrieg once again gets the upperhand and goes for the Irish whip! Butch reverses however and as his opponent hits the ropes Butch Reed charges in and takes The Blitzkrieg over the top with a short-arm clothesline! The Monster crashes to the floor below. Brickhouse Brown and Slick are right on top of the big man with the boots; and The Baron Von Raschke comes to the rescue attacking Slick! Inside the ring Butch Reed hams it up a bit for the fans and turns right into the Sieg Hail! superkick courtesy of Aryan Von Raschke! Jones is too busy yelling at the men on the outside to notice and whil The Baron locks in the Brain Claw on Slick, The Blitzkrieg gets up to his feet and nails Brickhouse with an uppercut followed by a big boot! He climbs into the ring and makes the cover on Reed! 1!... 2!... "Hacksaw" kicks out! The Blitzkrieg becomes enraged by this and gives Butch a good working over before nailing him with the Tombstone Piledriver! He makes the cover again and picks up the win.
Von Raschke's crew leave victoriously as Brickhouse Brown and Slick help Butch Reed to his feet. "Hacksaw" is pissed and pushes Brown away. He blaming him for his loss and getting in Brickhouse's face. Slick manages to calm both men down. After this we cut backstage where in front of the ECW banner is Terri Runnels who's speaking with "Macho Man" Randy Savage who's with both Steve Corino and Debbie Combs. Randy tells us that over the years many people have attempted to kill, to extinguish "Macho Madness." Yeah. Hulk Hogan, Ricky Steamboat, Ric Flair, those Destruction Inc. tools; and of course ECW Champion "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson. Dig it. And they all got one thing, one thing in common. Yeah. They all failed. Each and every one of them brought the "Macho Man" to his very limit, but in the end he put them all. Put them all away. Yeah. And next week he's gonna put ol' AA, "The Enforcer" down for the count. 1-2-3 and walk out of the Wheeling Civic Center holding the Eastern Heavyweight Title once again. Yeah. And he's gonna have help. Cause next week he's gonna have his good luck charm at his side. No. Not Debbie. But she'll be there too. Today he's talking 'bout his boy, his protegee Steve Corino yeah. Cause "Macho Man" has chosen his stipulation next week. And Arn Anderson is going to be facing Team Madness for the Title in a Handicap Match. Ooooh Yeah!!!Okerlund says he finds it disgustingly unfair that Randy Savage chose to face ECW Champ Arn Anderson in a handicap match for the Title next week. And says that should Randy win it, it's nothing more than highway robbery. Lanny says he's not sure he agrees. Poffo says he's always thought of any match with the "Macho Chump" in it to be a handicap match. If you catch his drift. Gene says he caught it alright. He'd just better hope Randy Savage doesn't.Match: Dustin Rhodes vs. Rhino Danny Davis warns both Tommy Dreamer and Mongo Vyle to keep out of his ring before he starts the match. Dustin Rhodes and Rhino get a good match going with Rhodes hitting a bulldog off the second rope and a sidewalk slam on Rhino, while "The Man-Beast" retaliates with a fireman's carry cutter and a release powerbomb as the two men fight back and forth with neither having the clear advantage. Late in the match Rhino goes for The Gore striking spear after hammering Dustin into the corner, but Dustin leapfrogs him; and catches him in a Sleep Hold as Rhino bounces out of the corner! He really locks it in, but Rhino gains a second wind and battles out, hurling Dustin Rhodes out of the ring! Climbing out onto the apron, Rhino leaps off with a legdrop to the outside onto Rhodes and when Mongo Vyle joins him all hell breaks lose as the two men beat him down! Tommy Dreamer rushes to the rescue and right into the wall known as Mongo Vyle as S.D. Jones calls for the bell awarding Rhodes the win via DQ! He doesn't feel like a winner as he is layed out cold on the outside while Rhino and Vyle work over Dreamer whom "The Machiavellan Mauler" nails with a sitout powerbomb! The big man than goes under the ring and produces a table! He slides it into the ring with Rhino, followed by Tommy Dreamer himself. After setting the table up, Mongo and Rhino put Dreamer through it with their signature Death Drop flajack/cutter combo!Match: Ron Garvin vs. Mike Sharpe Mike Sharpe gives Ronnie Garvin one hell of a fight with both men putting a hurting on one another until "Iron" Mike goes for the running forearm smash and "The Rugged One" ducks it! Sharpe crashes into the corner, dazing him just enough for Garvin to hit him with a release German suplex! He then connects with the Garvin Stomp before making the cover and picks up the win. Referee S.D. Jones raises his hand in victory when we get word that there's a disturbance back stage! Tommy Dreamer is busy letting Mongo Vyle have it with a kendo stick while Dustin Rhodes cracks Rhino over the skull with a steel chair! Dusty Jr. turns the chair and begins slamming it into the downed "Man-Beast!" With their work done Tommy Dreamer turns toward the camera and tells us that if Destruction Inc. wants things hardcore; they're gonna fucking get it hardcore!Lanny and Gene welcome us back from the last commercial break of the evening. They talk for a while about "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson's reign as ECW Champ here so far, discussing how he's held the belt in spit of some tough competition including "Macho Man" Randy Savage and "Rugged" Ronnie Garvin. Tonight he faces a man who pinned him the only time they've stepped in the ring together back in May during a tag-team match where he and his protegee Scott Taylor faced off against Masato Tanaka and his New Orient Express partner Yoshihiro Tajiri. Tanaka pinned the Champ earning this huge opportunity here tonight! The Kaientai Theme hits.
Gertner: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and is for the Eastern Heavyweight Championship. Introducing first the challenger accompanied to the ring by his manager Mr. Fuji and weighing in at 210 lbs.; from Tokyo Japan he is Masato Tanaka!
Tanaka heads down to the ring with Fuji where referee Danny Davis checks both men for foreign objects. Arn Anderson then appears on the ramp with the ECW Title around his waist.
Gertner: And introducing at this time from Rome, Georgia weighing 255 lbs.; he is the ECW Champion "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson!Main Event ECW Title Match: Arn Anderson vs. Masato Tanaka Arn Anderson hands the belt over to Davis before extending his hand to Masato Tanaka. Tanaka takes it, but then pulls the Champ in and hits him with a Dangan Bomb and makes the cover?!!! 1!... 2!... Arn kicks out! Tanaka keeps on top of him however and beats the hell out of AA, using several power moves including a sitout powerbomb, a belly to back suplex; and the Sliding D forearm smash to put AA away! Each time however "The Enfocer" just hangs in there, but he can't catch a break. For every hit he gets in, Masato comes back with three before trapping him in a modified surfboard! Arn screams in pain, but refuses to submit; eventually using his superior weight to his advantage to roll out of the hold. He's unable to even catch a breath however before Tanaka is right on top of him wailing on him, but Anderson fights up to one knee before catching Tanaka by the fist! He fires back without letting go and gets back to his feet, applying an armwrench to the challenger! Arn really twists the hell out of Tanaka's arm before takes him down with a deep arm drag. He keeps on the the arm hitting a jumping knee drop before locking in several variations of the armbar! Finally he picks him up and drops Tanaka with a shoulderbreaker onto his knee and catches his opponent in the hammerlock! Tanaka is howling in pain now and looks just about ready to tap when The Kaientai Theme hits and Yoshihiro Tajiri appears on the ramp! This distracts Davis just enough for "The Diabolica" Mr. Fuji to let Anderson have it with a hand full of salt! Arn howls in pain as he staggers to his feet and rubs at his eyes. Masato Tanaka is right back up and scoops Anderson up from behind with one hand for a back body drop! He makes the cover! 1!... 2!...
Anderson kicks out! AA sits up and gets decked by Tanaka who's up on one knee. The two men begin throwing punches, but Masato gets the drop on Anderson and begins hammering him back into the corner! He is busting Arn up with his good arm when "The Enforcer" comes alive and grabbing Tanaka hurls him into the corner! He begins hammering and bashing on him everyway he can, driving Tanaka down as he stomps him out, focusing on his injured shoulder. He then jerks Masato Tanaka up to his feet by his injured arm and swings him across the ring into the opposing corner! Arn charges in, but Tanaka gets a foot up catching Arn in the face! As the Champ reals back Masato Tanaka leaps on him for a Tornado DDT! But Anderson keeps on his feet and spinning about nails Masato Tanaka with the spinebuster! This could be it! Arn Anderson makes the cover! 1!... 2!... 3! Anderson has won it! Anderson retains!Inside the ring Arn Anderson looks sweaty, hurt; and tired as he is handed his Title which he raises in victory. Just then "Pomp and Circumstance" hits and "The Enforcer" turns toward the ramp where "Macho Man" Randy Savage is waiting with Steve Corino and "Hot Stuff" Debbie Combs.
