The program opens with a shot of the ballroom of the Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles. Mike Tenay is seated at a table with Tommy Watanabe and the legendary Shohei Baba. There are journalists and dignitaries in the audience.

Tenay, “Welcome to the venerable Ambassador Hotel. We are just a few feet from the famous Cocoanut Grove Nightclub. We told you we had a huge announcement and let’s get right to it. With me is the legendary Shohei ‘Giant’ Baba. Mr. Baba is the promoter of All-Japan Pro Wrestling. American Championship Wrestling has signed an agreement with All Japan. We have seen several All Japan wrestlers in ACW, Toshiaki Kawada, Akira Taue, Jun Akiyama, to name just a few. We have also seen the ‘Unified Tag Team Titles’ defended on ACW show. Get used to it, because we are about to see more of this. I’ll turn things over to Mr. Baba, Tommy Watanabe will translate.”



Baba speaks and Watanabe translates.

Watanabe, “Mr. Baba wants to thank American Championship Wrestling for agreeing to this merger. He feels ACW is a fine wrestling organization, just like All Japan. Here is what is going to happen. AJPW wrestlers will continue to wrestle on ACW shows, and in turn, ACW wrestlers will perform on AJPW shows. The ACW titles, the American Heavyweight Title, the American Television Title and the American Tag Team Titles, will be defended on both shows. The AJPW Unified Tag Team Titles will continue to be defended on ACW shows. Now let’s talk about the Triple Crown Title and International Heavyweight Title. The Triple Crown Title has been one of the most prestigious Titles in the sport for some time. The International Title is a new title, but has quickly become the talk of wrestling. During the month of October, ACW and AJPW will both be in Japan. This will lead to a Pay per View on October 20. We will be at the Tokyo Dome for ‘King’s Coronation’. On that night the Triple Crown Champion will face the International Champion.”

A young Japanese man wearing a suit and white gloves carries a box to the table. He sets in front of Mr. Baba, bows and leaves. Baba opens the box and takes out a velvet bag.

Watanabe, “The winner of the match will hold the title of the ‘Crown of the King’ and wear this belt.”

Baba takes a belt out of the bag. It has silver and gold plates with four crowns on the front plate.

Tenay, “What a beautiful title belt. The ‘Crown of the King’, this is a great announcement. At this time, Toshiaki Kawada holds the Triple Crown and after our tour of Ireland, Dave Finlay is the International Heavyweight Champion. If they still hold their respective titles in October, they will meet at “King’s Coronation’, just monstrous news!”

We now go to the Los Angeles Sports Arena. The first match is in the ring.

Match #1
The New Samoans (Sionne and Fatu) w/Afa def. The Colorado Kid and “Desperado” Joe Gomez, Sionne w/kick of fear

*During the match there is an inset interview of Afa.

Afa, “The Samoan heritage in wrestling is long and strong! The ‘New Samoans’ will continue that legacy! You must fear us!”

Tenay and Larry Zbyszko open the show.

Tenay, “Legend, what an opening to the show, ACW and All Japan working together, that’s exciting!”

Zbyszko, “There are not a lot of people in wrestling I really respect, but Mr. Baba is one I hold in high esteem. This is the biggest news in wrestling today. ACW is on fire.”

Tenay, “Now let’s talk about recent happenings in ACW.  This man won the International Heavyweight Title in his hometown, let’s welcome Dave ‘Fit’ Finlay.”

Finlay comes out wearing the International Title.



Tenay, “Welcome and congratulations. You must be so excited to have won the title, and in your hometown, as well.”

Finlay, “Thank you Mike. It was a long journey, and it wasn’t easy, but now I am the Champion and I will defend this title with all my being.”

Tenay, “You heard the announcement earlier. On October 20, the International Champion will face the Triple Crown Champion, the winner to win the ‘Crown of the King’. If you both still hold the title, you will face Toshiaki Kawada.  That will be a monster match.”

Finlay, “I expect to hold this title for some time, so I expect to wrestle that night…”

Inspector Wippleman comes out.

Wippleman, “Stop right there! What are you talking about? You lucked out because of a drunken referee. Teddy Long got into the Guinness and could barely stand. That’s why you won.”

Finlay, “Shut up Wippleman…”

Just then someone jumps Finlay from behind. It’s King Kong Bundy. He knocks Finlay to the floor and hits a big splash. Finlay writhes in agony.



Wippleman, “There’s your champion!”

Wipppleman and Bundy walk off stage.

Tenay, “King King Bundy! One of the legendary big men in wrestling! It looks like Wippleman will not take this lying down!”

Match #2
Shinjiro Ohtani w/Inspector Wippleman and Sonny Onoo vs. Virgil

Ohtani, Wippleman and Onoo come to the ring along with King Kong Bundy. Wippleman takes the mike.

Wippleman, “Shinjiro. I’m giving you the night off. Virgil, prepare to be squashed like a bug!”

Bundy rushes Virgil. In a matter of minutes Bundy hits the Atlantic City Avalanche. He covers Virgil and demands a five count from referee Chad Patton.

Lee Marshall is with Wolf Hawkfield

Marshall, “With me is the ‘new’ American Television Champion, Wolf Hawkfield. Mr. Hawkfield, you worked hard and regained the title. The fans are excited and I know you are as well.”

Hawkfield, “I gave my all and it turned out well for me. Rick Rude was a tough opponent, but he was not an honest man. I gave me great pleasure to beat him.”

Marshall, “There are many top contenders for the Television Title. Tonight you meet young Lance Storm, who is a very talented wrestler, if you retain the title, there will be many people lined up to challenged you.”

Rude, ”I will wrestle the best, I am that type of champion.”

Marshall, “Indeed you are Mr. Hawkfield.”

Wolf Hawkfield (Champion) vs. Lance Storm

The youngster from Calgary makes a very good impression on the Champion, but the man from Snow Mountain, Canada gets the better of things and wins with the Cyber spear.

“Hacksaw” Jim Duggan def. Manukea Mossman, w/spear

Marshall is with Tommy Watanabe and the Pearls of the Orient.

Marshall, “With me are Tommy Watanabe and the Pearls of the Orient. Tommy will translate this interview. Gentlemen, you have come very close to taking the American Tag Team Titles from the Quebecers. They seem to have just enough luck to keep the titles. We are announcing, tonight, that you will meet the Quebecers, in two weeks, at the Tacoma Dome. Is this your night?”

Watanabe translates.

Watanabe, “Mr. Liger and the Dragon are grateful for this opportunity. They have come very close, and they feel this will be the night they take the titles. Each time they have met, Wippleman has been involved in some way and the titles have stayed with the Quebecers. They have a plan for that and they wish to show the fans that they Champions can be honorable wrestlers.”

Marshall, “In two weeks, the Pearls of the Orient take  on the Quebecers with the American Tag Team Titles at stake, just another exciting night of ACW action. Now let’s see Jushin Liger and the Ultimo Dragon in action.”

The Pearls of the Orient def. TAKA Michinoku and Mr. X, Liger w/Liger bomb vs. Mr. X

Marshall is with Barry Windham, Kendall Windham and Bob Orton.

Marshall, “With me are Barry Windham, Kendall Windham and Bob Orton. Gentlemen, you have the big six man tag team match coming up. This will be a knock down drag out affair.”

B. Windham, “That’s right! Hansen and those other two fools are going to pay! Hansen has the commission in his back pocket and I haven’t been able to take the title, but that doesn’t mean we can’t teach him a lesson tonight. Kendall’s going to take care of the Patriot, Bob will finish off Bradshaw and that leaves that big, fat bum for me! Hansen, tonight I beat you up, next time I take the title!”

Marshall, “Barry Windham’s team is confident, now let’s go to Larry Zbyszko and Stan Hansen’s team.”

Zbyszko is with Stan Hansen, Justin Hawk Bradshaw and the Patriot.

Zbyszko, “With me are Stan Hansen, Justin Hawk Bradshaw and the Patriot. You three take on Barry Windham’s group. Stan, Windham has been after you and even had his brother jump you from behind in Ireland. He thinks he can take the American Heavyweight Title from you.”

Hansen, “That’s right! He jumped me from behind! That’s not going to happen tonight, I’ve got backup, good backup! Bradshaw and the Patriot can take of business and I can put Windham away, once and for all! I’m tired of his tricks. Tonight it’s face to face, and I’m coming out on top!

Zbyszko, “This is going to be a war. Let’s go to the ring for the six man tag team match.”

Match #8
Six Man Tag Team Match
Barry Windham, Kendall Windham and Bob Orton vs. Stan Hansen, Justin Hawk Bradshaw and the Patriot

All six men pace back and forth. Referee Teddy Long has an impossible task. The bell rings and its Orton and the Patriot in the ring. They battle it out and neither man is able to gain an edge. Hansen tags in. He looks at Orton yells for him to tag in Barry Windham. Barry tags in and he and Hansen charge one another like Brahma bulls. This is a slugfest. Wrestling goes out the window. Long tries to control the action, but it’s impossible. The action continues. All six men end up in the ring. In the melee Bradshaw hits the clothesline on Kendall and covers him. Long counts the fall. The brawl continues. Wrestlers from the back run in and break up things.
Winners-Stan Hansen, Bob Orton and the Patriot

Tenay and Zbyszko close the show.

Tenay, “What a night of action…”

Finlay storms the announce table.

Finlay, “Get me Bundy! Next week! I want Bundy!”

Tenay, “Mr. Finlay, I can’t sign the match, it will have to go to the commission.”

Finlay, “Now, I want him now!”

Tenay, “I know the commission will get on it.”

Finlay leaves.

Tenay, “Legend, it looks like we might have a title match in the near future. Let’s talk about next week. We are going to see the debut of two wrestlers. Let’s watch this.

We see highlights of Mitsuharu Misawa and Kenta Kobashi.

Mike Tenay opens the show.

Tenay, “Welcome to the ‘Shark Tank’! We are joining you on horseback tonight. There is a commotion in the back and Larry Zbyszko has headed there to see what is going on. Let’s go to Larry.”

Zbyszko is in a locker room. Things are tossed around and several wrestlers are milling about. The camera focuses on King Kong Bundy, who is being held back by the Quebecers, Shinjiro Ohtani and several others.

Zbyszko, “This is what happened when Dave Finlay charged into the locker room and attacked King Kong Bundy. Wrestlers pulled Finlay out of here…”

Suddenly Finlay rushes back into the locker room and attacks Bundy. They brawl across the locker room.

Zbyszko, “Let’s get out of here, this is a dangerous situation.”

Tenay is at the announce table.

Tenay, “Let’s go to the ring, and hopefully, the Legend will join us.”

Marshall is with Tommy Watanabe, Mitshuaru Misawa and Kenta Kobashi.

Marshall, “With me is our Japanese wrestling expert, also with us are two of the best wrestlers in Japan, or anywhere for that matter, Mitsuharu Misawa and Kenta Kobashi. These two gentlemen are just two more international stars to join us in ACW. Mitsuharu has held the Triple Crown Title, in fact, Toshiakai Kawada defeated Misawa for the title last year. Kenta is a fine young wrestler and a candidate for any title in the world, together they are contenders for any tag title in the world. Tommy will translate for us.”

Watanabe, “These two men are thrilled to be in America and wrestling in ACW. They have watched Kawada, Taue, Akiyama and others have success and they want to do the same. Both men would like to wrestle for the Triple Crown, or the American Heavyweight Title. They also have their sights on the Unified Tag Team Titles. Both men are ready for anything.”

Marshall, “These two are fantastic. They will be in our next match, and fans, you are going to be thrilled!”

Marshall, “With me is the man called Vader. Mr. Vader, you have been demanding better competition. I think everyone is ACW is very good, but you want something else.”

Vader, “I told you what was going to happen! I f I don’t get better competition, I’m destroying everyone and everything, announcers included!”

Marshall, “Well Mr. Vader, I don’t like the sound of that, but I think you’ll like this. ACW has signed a match for you next week, in Tacoma, with Dan ‘The Beast’ Severn. He’s a top wrestler.”

Vader, “That’s more like it! Severn is good, he’s not Vader, but he’s good!”

Marshall, “You have a tough one tonight you have a pretty good opponent as well, the veteran ‘New Jersey Heartthrob’ Jack Victory.”

Vader, “ACW is coming to its senses, Vader will destroy anyone in my path!”

Marshall, “When we return, Vader vs. Victory.”

Jack Victory vs. Vader

The veteran “New Jersey Heartthrob” uses his wits and stays away from the “Mastodon” as long as possible. He gets in a few shots, but finally Vader backs him into the corner and goes to work. It’s not long until Vader slams him and lands the Vader bomb for the win.

Marshall is with Inspector Wippleman and King Kong Bundy.

Marshall, “Inspector, Dave Finlay is out for blood. Do you think you should have done this?”

Inspector, “This is just what we planned. That stupid Irishman has lost it, and that’s good. He and that drunken referee in Ireland stole the International Title from me in Belfast, now I’m going to take it back, using this mountain of a man, King Kong Bundy! After tonight, Bundy will be the Champion and Finlay will be a squashed bug!”

Marshall, “I still think they’ve rattled Finlay’s cage and he’s out for blood. Our main event will be intense.”

Match #7
The Can-Am Express def. David Taylor and TAKA Michinoku, Furnas w/Powerslam vs. Taylor

Marshall is with Dave Finlay.

Marshall, “With me is the International Heavyweight Champion Dave ‘Fit’ Finlay. Mr. Finlay, you didn’t get too much of a chance to enjoy your win over Chono. Wippleman and Bundy saw to that.”

Finlay, “Wippleman, Bundy, I’m ready to tear you both apart! Bundy, you fat hog, the only way, and I mean the only way, you could get the better of me is to jump me from behind! I fought like crazy to get this title, and I’m not going to give it, not without being carried out! It’s time for me to go to the ring and smash you, you may be big, but I can take care of myself! Let’s get this started!”

Finlay heads to the ring.

International Heavyweight Championship
Dave “Fit” Finlay (Champion) vs. King Kong Bundy w/Inspector Wippleman and Sonny Onoo

Bundy is waiting in the ring when Finlay hits the ring. He attacks Bundy and the match is on. The Irishman pounds away at the giant from Atlantic City. Bundy rolls out of the ring and tries to confer with Wippleman and Onoo. Finlay follows him and continues to battle on the floor. They make their way back to the ring and continue to brawl. Referee Jack Doane does his best, but he cannot control the action. He calls for the bell and disqualifies both men.
Result-Double Disqualification





Tenay and Zbyszko close the show.

Tenay, “Legend, we have not seen the last of Finlay and Bundy. This will be a war.”

Zbyszko, “Wippleman keeps trying, but I know Finlay is too much for him. Anytime things go badly for Wippleman, I’m happy.”

Tenay, “I’m sure we will hear from both men next week. We will be in Tacoma, at the beautiful Tacoma Dome. We have another great show for you. Wolf Hawkfield will defend the Television Title against Johnny Smith. That will be a great one. We will also see, for the first time in ACW, the ‘Triple Crown’ Title will be defended by Toshiaki Kawada. He will take on Jun Akiyama. This is a match that would sell out in Tokyo, and you know the Tacoma crowd will be on the edge of their seats. Plus the American Tag Team Titles will on the line when The Pearls of the Orient challenge the Quebecers. Don’t miss any ACW action!”

Mike Tenay and Larry Zbyszko open the show. The Tacoma crowd chants, “Larry, Larry, Larry!” Zbyszko acknowledges the cheers.

Tenay, “The Tacoma Dome crowd loves the legend. Larry, we have a super show for the fans tonight. We have two big main events. In the first, Vader takes on Dan ‘The Beast’ Severn. This will be two tough men doing battle and then we will see, for the first time, the ‘Triple Crown’ Title defended in an ACW ring. Toshiaki Kawada defends against the talented youngster, Jun Akiyama. Then we have the American Tag Team titles up for grabs as the Quebecers defend against the Pearls of the Orient, and Wolf Hawkfield defends the Television Title against Johnny Smith. Legend, it’s going to be great.”

Zbyszko, “No question Tenay, ACW has been on a roll lately, and tonight will something special.”

Tenay, “Well we have those two matches, but that’s not all. We have a newcomer in our first match, a masked man from Japan called Gran Naniwa. Naniwa is a very talented wrestler who has many mannerisms reminiscent of a crab. As strange as that sounds, he is very talented. Let’s see Gran Naniwa in action.”

Naniwa uses his crab-like mannerisms to confuse the young Hawaiian. Mossman fights back, but Naniwa wins with the clutch de Naniwa.

The Quebecers (Champions) w/Sonny Onoo vs. The Pearls of the Orient

Inspector Wippleman does not accompany his men tonight, but Onoo poses a threat of interference. The masked men open up with an impressive series of moves. The Champions are in deep trouble. Onoo calls both men to the floor and confers with them. They return and Jacques goes to work on Liger. The match continues until all four men end up in the ring. Referee Teddy Long tries to sort things out, but he cannot. He disqualifies both teams.
Result-Double Disqualification

Lee Marshall is with Stan Hansen.

Marshall, “With me is, the American Heavyweight Champion, Stan Hansen. Stan, you and Barry Windham are locked in a series of matches that have been the talk of the wrestling world. Many people think Windham is very close to beating you. You meet him again, in two weeks, in Honolulu, HI. What do you think?”

Hansen slams his bullrope to the floor.

Hansen, “Think, what do I think? I think I have a big fat wife and eight screaming kids and I have to feed all of them! I can feed them better if I’m American Champion, so I’m going to beat Windham! You can count on that!”

Marshall, “Well that’s a pretty good reason. Tonight you meet the giant Ron Studd. He’ll be no easy task.”

Hansen, “He’s big, so’s Windham, I’m going to take care of both of them!”

Marshall, “The American Heavyweight Champion will be in action next.”

Stan Hansen (American Heavyweight Champion) def. Ron Studd, w/Lariat

“Hacksaw” Jim Duggan def. Virgil, w/Spear

Marshall is with Vader.

Marshall, “Mr. Vader, you have demanded stiffer competition, and you have it this week. Dan ‘The Beast’ Severn is one of the toughest and most skilled wrestlers in the world.”

Vader, “That’s right! Severn is good, but he’s no Vader! ACW finally came to their senses, they gave me a tough opponent. I’ll beat him and move on to a title! You cannot stop Vader!”

Marshall, “Let’s go to Larry Zbyszko with Dan Severn.”

Zbyszko is with Dan Severn.

Zbyszko, “Dan, Vader wanted more competition and you are that. He’s going to be a handful.”

Severn, “You know Larry, Vader is big and really tough, but I am the best mat wrestler in the game. It won’t be easy, but I can outwrestle him and that’s what I’m going to do.”

Zbyszko, “This is going to be a great one.”

Match #6
Vader vs. Dan Severn

Vader paces back and forth in his corner as Severn stands very still and stares a hole into the big man from the Rocky Mountains. The bell rings and Vader charges. They lock up and the match is on. Both big men exchange wrestling moves and power moves. They both have their chances. Finally both men end up slugging it out on the arena floor. Referee Chad Patton counts ten. Both men are counted out.

American Television Championship
Wolf Hawkfield (Champion) vs. Johnny Smith

This match goes back and forth and Johnny Smith has several chances to win, but can’t finish it. Hawkfied lands the cyber spear for the win.

Marshall is with Tommy Watanabe.

Marshall, “With me is Tommy Watanabe. Tommy, Toshiaki Kawada will defend the ‘Triple Crown’ Title in our main event. Tell us a little bit about the ‘Triple Crown’.”

Watanabe, “The ‘Triple Crown’ is a combination of three titles, the NWA United National Championship, the PWF Championship and the NWA International Championship. Jumbo Tsuruta was the initial championship. Many great wrestlers have held the title, Tsuruta, Misawa, Hansen and others.”

Marshall, “Toshiaki Kawada is a very skilled Champion and will be hard to beat. When we return, he and Jun Akiyama will be in the ring.”

Match #8
All Japan Triple Crown Championship
Toshiaki Kawada (Champion) w/Inspector Wippleman and Sonny Onoo vs. Jun Akiyama

The young Akiyama has waited for this chance and he makes the most of it. He goes after Kawada at the opening bell and the Champion is reeling. Akiyama whips Kawada into the ropes and backdrops him to the mat. Kawada rolls out of the ring and confers with Wippleman and Onoo. He returns and the match turns into an even, hard hitting encounter. Akiyama looks very good, but Kawada lands the Dangerous kick and covers Akiyama for the win.

Wippleman grabs the mike from Marshall.

Wippleman, “The world just saw what ‘Dangerous K’ can do! In October, we will take the ‘Crown of the King’! Finlay, you think you’re going to be there, King Kong Bundy will destroy you long before you make it to Tokyo!”

Finlay walks down the aisle with a mike.

Finlay, “Wippleman, you’re men are good! Kawada is a Champion, but so was Chono and I took care of him! Bundy is a fat hog and when I finish with him, I will wear the ‘Crown of the King’!”

Bundy runs in from behind, but Finlay is ready. He lands a right and then a left and Bundy staggers back, Kawada comes to Bundy’s aid, but Finlay backs up and Wippleman and his men are left standing.

Tenay and Zbyszko close the show.

Tenay, “Wow! Another great night of ACW action! The situation with Wippleman’s men and Dave Finlay just amped up a level. Finlay must deal with Bundy and Kawada. That won’t be easy.”

Zbyszko, “Everyone knows I hate Wippleman, but you have to admit, he’s got some great wrestlers with him. Finlay does have a long row to hoe.”

Tenay, “I’m sure we are going to hear more about his next week, but that won’t be all you will see next week. We will be in Las Vegas, at the Thomas and Mack Center on the campus of UNLV. The show will focus on the tag team division of ACW. We will see a new tag team. Gran Naniwa, who we saw in action tonight, teams with another Japanese masked wrestler, Super Delfin. Together those two are known as the ‘Pacific Cyclones’. We will see the New Samoans, Fatu and Sione, with Afa, in action as they face the veteran team of ‘Hacksaw’ Dugan and ‘Gentleman’ Chris Adams, and in our main event, the Holy Demon Army, Kawada and Taue, will defend the Unified Tag Team Titles against Johnny Ace and Johnny Smith. What a night it will be. We will also see the return of a young man, who made a brief stop in ACW last year, ‘Das Wunderkind’ Alex Wright.”

We see highlights of Alex Wright.



Zbyszko, “That boy has talent. I’m glad he’s back. The tag team division of ACW is the best in the world, and you’ll see proof of that next week.”

Tenay, “Legend, the Vegas crowd loves you.”

Zbyszko, “Wayne Newton’s got nothing on me.”

Tenay, “Now on to tonight’s show. We have three top tag team matches on tap. The Unified Tag Team Champions, the Holy Demon Army, take on a new team of Johnny Smith and Johnny Ace. Alex Wright returns, and in our first match, the tag team called the ‘Pacific Cyclones’, Gran Naniwa and Super Delphin debut with their new manager. I don’t know what’s going on, but there they are.”

Naniwa, Delphin and Sonny Onoo come out.







Tenay, “Sonny Onoo, what are you doing out here? You manage Naniwa and Delphin?”

Onoo, “Yes, great tag team now has great manager. Sonny Onoo cut huge deal, bring great Japanese team to ACW.”

Tenay, “What about Inspector Wippleman?”

Onoo, “Sonny Onoo have big surprise for Inspector. I make huge deal, impress Inspector.”

Wippleman comes out.

Tenay, “Inspector Wippleman, what’s going on?”

Wippleman, “Sonny, what’s this? What did you do?”

Onoo, “I sign great tag team. IME LTD now has many great teams.”

Wippleman, “We already have the American Tag Team Champions and the Unified Champions. We don’t need anyone else.”

Onoo, “We have three great teams, I bring us great Japanese team.”

Wippleman, “There’s nothing I can do, right now, but I don’t like this.”

Wippleman walks off the stage, Onoo and his men head for the ring.

Tenay, “This situation bears watching. We also have one more huge announcement for later in the program. We will begin “King’s Coronation Control Center’ tonight. We will have the first announcements concerning the big Pay per View from Tokyo.”

The Pacific Cyclones w/Sonny Onoo vs. Jack Victory and Johnny Tatum

The masked Japanese team is very impressive. They tag in and out and even the veteran team of Victory and Tatum has no chance. The end comes when Delphin catches Tatum in the Delphin clutch. Sonny Onoo has a great team, no matter what the Inspector thinks.

Lee Marshall is with Stan Hansen.

Marshall, “With me is the American Heavyweight Champion, Stan Hansen. Mr. Hansen, the feud with Barry Windham gets more intense as the days go by. Both of you have had your moments, but neither man can get that telling victory. Many people think there needs to be one final battle.”

Hansen, “Listen, Windham is tough, we all know that. His dad was tough and that skinny brother of his is tougher than you think! I want this over. I want one last battle and I want to do it in Tokyo. I am a legend in Japan and I’d like nothing more than to finish off that loudmouth in front of the Tokyo Dome crowd! Marshall, get that match signed!”

Marshall, “I don’t have the power to do that, but I know the fans would like to see that. Barry Windham will be out here later, we’ll see what he thinks.”

Hansen, “Get it signed!”

Marshall, “Let’s see Stan in action against Gary Albright.”

Windham, “Listen to me, you weasel, I’ll get it done by pounding you into the floor until just the top of your head is sticking out!”

Marshall, “No need for that. Stan Hansen has challenged you to a match at ‘King’s Coronation’. Are you interested?”

Windham, “Of course I’m interested, but Hansen, let’s make this more interesting. You and me, no disqualification, no count out, fight to the finish!”

Marshall, “The fans would love that one. Maybe we’ll have news by the end of the program. Now let’s see Barry Windham in action.”

Wippleman, “Marshall, just shut up! This is family business. Everything is smoothed over, just keep your nose of our business!”

Marshall, “O.K., but three top tag teams and two sets of belts seems like a recipe for disaster.”

Wippleman, “Just shut, will you!”

Marshall, “O.K. The Holy Demon Army meets Johnny Ace and Johnny Smith. These two young men make a good team.”

Wippleman, “Good, but not great. Kawada and Taue are great! This won’t take long.”

Marshall, “Our main event is next.”

Unified Tag Team Championship
The Holy Demon Army w/Inspector Wippleman and Sonny Onoo (Champions) vs. Johnny Ace and Johnny Smith

Ace and Smith take the fight to the Champions and the Las Vegas crowd is on its’ feet. Wippleman and Onoo are livid. The Challengers score several near falls, but can’t seem to take the win. The end comes when Taue lands the chokeslam pin on Ace and the Champions prevail.

Tenay and Zbyszko are seated at the “King’s Coronation” control center.

Tenay, “October 20 is the date and the Tokyo Dome is the place. What night it will be. ACW is teaming All Japan Pro Wrestling for one night of fantastic action. Let’s get right to the point. This man has been absent for a while, but he’ll be back on the 20th.

Williams,” I injured my knee on July 3 and I’ve spent three long, hard months rehabbing it. I’m ready to come back! Hansen, you hurt me, but that’s part of the game. I’ll win in Tokyo and then I’m coming for my title!”

Tenay, “Wow! Steve Williams back in action!”

Zbyszko, “Dr. Death will be breathing fire! I wouldn’t want to be in his way.”

And in a match just signed backstage, Stan Hansen defends the American Heavyweight Championship against Barry Windham in a no disqualification, no count out match, there must be a winner

Finally, we know that match, we know what’s at stake, but we aren’t completely sure who will be involved. The ‘Crown of the King’ will be decided. The Triple Crown Champion meets the International Champion. Right now, Toshiaki Kawada holds the Triple Crown and Dave Finlay, the International Title, but King Kong Bundy is hot on Finlay’s trail. Legend, it’s going to be an exciting October.”

Zbyszko, “ACW is the top organization in the world, and the addition of the All Japan crew just makes it even more exciting.”

Tenay, “I want all the fans to feel sorry for Larry and I. We draw a tough assignment next week. We will be in Honolulu, Hawaii, at the Stan Sherriff Center. Tough duty. After Hawaii, we are headed for Japan. ACW is on fire!”
