But first we'll see the huge 15-Man Hardcore Invitational Battle Royal where the winner could earn a contract to wrestle here at Eastern Championship Wrestling! The entrants have remained secret until now, with members from rival promotions scheduled to compete! These men could very well lose their jobs amongst other things in this extreme match-up! What a night! We go to ringside. Inside the ring are two garbage cans filled to the brim with weapons. There's an additional can on all four sides of the ring. Alexandra: The following 15-Man Battle Royal is scheduled for fourteen falls with the Winner earning a contract here at Eastern Championship Wrestling! The match will begin with four competitors inside the ring with a new entrant added every two minutes. Introducing first from weighing in at 280 lbs. hailing from The Badlands; he is "The Nightmare" Glen Osbourne!
Osbourne comes down to the ring with his chain in hand and referee S.D. Jones who is sporting a helmet and some padded ref gear for the occasion gets out of the way as he enters. Okerlund feels bad for Jones's position here tonight. Lanny questions this, saying he has the best seat in the house!
Alexandra: And introducing the second competitor tonight, weighing in at 191 lbs. from Smithfield, North Carolina he is ECW's own "Sugar" Shane Helms! Okerlund says that Helms is gonna need more than sugar in his tank to pull off a win here tonight. Poffo laughs and says this dork doesn't stand a chance. Not that he needs it; he's already under contract for some reason.
Alexandra: And introducing the third challenger from Louisville, Kentucky weighing 265 lbs.; Bull Pain!
Pain comes out with his bat in hand which he menaces the fans with on his way to the ring. Poffo can't get over how ugly he is while "Mean" Gene talks about how Bull has made a name for himself on the independent circuit in Memphis X-Treme Pro Wrestling as one tough S.O.B. And that he currently wrestles for the Global Wrestling Federation. Lanny says that his first wife was from Lousville, Kentucky. And that she was butt ugly too.
Alexandra: And the final entrant starting off tonight's Battle Royal, hailing from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania weighing in at 240 lbs. The Sandman! The Sandman comes to the ring weidling a Singapore Cane in one hand while drinking from a bottle of Jack Daniels in the other. "Mean" Gene talks about how Sandman has been wreaking a path of destruction in American Championship Wrestling for months now.Hardcore 15-Man Battle Royal S.D. Jones starts the match and Bull Pain takes off after The Sandman and slams his steel bat through Sandman's can shattering it! Meanwhile Glen Osbourne has already clobbered poor Shane Helms with the chain and has begun beating on him with it. He's the first to be broken open, but is soon joined by Pain when The Sandman calmly takes a swig of his Captain Jack before clocking Pain across the face with the bottle! Beer and shards of glass go everywhere as The Sandman begins battering his opponent across the ring. Glen Orbourne meanwhile has choked out Shane Helms who looks pretty lifeless when Osbourne drops him to the floor and connects with a jumping splash which gets him the pin. Just then ...
Alexandra: Introducing from Greensboro, North Carolina weighing 225 lbs., New Jack!"Natural Born Killaz" by Dr. Dre & Ice Cube plays as New Jack rushes down into the fray. He immediately lifts up a garbage can full of weapons and slams it down onto the back of The Sandman who is busy choking out Bull Pain. Pain looks to be thankful for the break, but New Jack punches him in the face before pulling him up and slamming him face first into the steel steps! Bull's nose is now oozing blood like his head. Glen Osbourne meanwhile has climbed out onto the apron and as The Sandman and New Jack begin beating on one another, Osbourne leaps off and hammers them with a double clothesline! All three men spill to the floor as a recovered but bloody Bull Pain gets to his feet and grabs his bat which he begins beating all three men with! Just then...
Alexandra: And introducing from Compton, California weighing 250 lbs. he is one half of the team Public Enemy; Rocco Rock!Johnny Grunge doesn't wait his turn and comes out with his partner carrying a table; which they set up in front of the ring. They immediately pick Glen Osbourne up off his feet and flapjack him through the table! "The Nightmare" looks to be over, but New Jack and The Sandman are back up on their feet. After taking the bat off of Bull Pain and cracking it over his skull, the duo begin hammering on The Public Enemy! The four men brawl about the ring until...
Alexandra: Now entering the ring from Annville, Pennsylvania weighing in at 246 lbs.; he is "The Silent Assassin" Steve Blackman!Blackman comes down to the ring weilding his kendo sticks and immediately encounters Glene Osbourne who is stumbling up to his feet. Blackman begins clobbering "The Nightmare" with an impressive display of martial arts prowess that leaves Osbourne broken and bloody. He isn't the only one as New Jack has fished a pair of brass knuckles from one of the cans and has begun pummeling Rocco Rock up against the steel guardrail before lifting him up to his feet and running his head first into it! His partner Johnny Grunge is having better luck as he hits a diving legdrop onto The Sandman off the apron, through a garbage can!The battle rages on seeing Devon and Spike Hughes, "Canada's Greatest Athlete" Mike Sharpe, Aryan von Raschke, ACW's Tommy Dreamer; and much to Lanny's surprise even Doink the Clown join the melee.During this time Glen Osbourne is eliminated when Johnny Grunge sets him up on the announcer's table and Rocco Rock gets up onto the guardrail and puts "The Nightmare" through it with an amazing moonsault! Poffo and Okerlund are sent scrambling for cover as Rock eliminates Osbourne from the tournament. Meanwhile New Jack hit a DDT on Bull Pain into a chair that saw the man from Greensboro pick up the third elimination of the night. The Sandman bloodied and battered meanwhile fights Aryan while The Hughes Brothers work over Steve Blackman in the corner; whom they drag into the ring where little Spike holds Blackman's legs open. Devon flies off the top and connects with a flying headbutt to the crotch of "The Silent Assassin!" And as he rolls on the floor holding his head, Spike covers Blackman taking him out. Mike Sharpe has waged his own private war with Doink the Clown whom he's fought straight up the ramp and onto the stage where The Clown hits him with a low blow! As Sharpe drops to his knees Doink removes his shoe and smashes him across the face with it, a move he calls The Heel Turn! Sharpe looks out cold as Doink the Clown gets the giggles before he lifts up the limp Mike Sharpe and powerbombs him off the stage! Okerlund is sickened by this but Doink just continues to laugh as...Alexandra: And introducing the final entrant of the night. From Montreal, Quebec, Canada weighing in at 220 lbs. he is "The Canadian Crippler" Chris Benoit!Doink the Clown is too busy laughing to realize the danger he is in until Chris Benoit emerges from the back, grabs him about the waist, pops his hips; and nails him with a German Suplex right there on the stage! Doink doesn't know what's hit him as he is eliminated. Down by the ring Rocco Rock has never really recovered from the moonsault through the announcer's table and while Johnny Grunge is busy fighting Tommy Dreamer; big Devon Hughes treats him to a double shoulder block. While he is dazed, Spike Hughes grabs him by the head and springboarding off the guardrail hitting a cutter on Rock that sends him out of the match for good. Aryan meanwhile is cockily beating on New Jack in the ring with a steel chair, which leads to Jack catching him offguard with a jawbreaker over his knee. New Jack then goes up top with the chair in hand and nails von Raschke with a huge chair assisted elbow drop off the top which he calls the 187! He follows this up with the cover and picks up the win. As he gets to his feet however Chris Benoit is waiting with a bat in his hands and clocks New Jack across the jaw with it! He pummels New Jack with the bat before lifting his opponent up over his shoulder and nails him with a kneeling belly to belly piledriver! A three count later and Jack is gone too.
Meanwhile on the outside Tommy Dreamer has broken a Singapor Cane over the back of Johnny Grunge whom he soon eilminates and entering the ring The Hughes Brothers attack Chris Benoit! They get some offense in at first, but Devon is soon treated to a triple German suplex before being eliminated! On the outside only The Sandman and Tommy Dreamer remain. Sandman approaches Dreamer and crouching down reaches into his boot for a weapon! But instead he produces a flask? He takes a swig before handing it to Dreamer and the two battered men look on as Chris Benoit stuffs little Spike head first into a garbage an before hitting him with a bridged Dragon suplex! Paramedics are everywhere as Benoit climbs down to the floor to confront Dreamer and Sandman. The Sandman offers his flask to "The Canadian Crippler;" but Benoit swats it away!
The Sandman and Tommy Dreamer immediately go on the offensive and hammer away on Chris. Teaming up the duo from ACW batter Benoit around the ring before laying him out with a double DDT! Dreamer makes the cover! 1!...2!... Benoit kicks out! The two men puts the boots to Benoit as he fights his way to his feet. He begins throwing chops at both men as they exchange punches with him. Grabbing Sandman he whips him into the steel steps giving him just enough room to hit a release German Suplex on Tommy Dreamer! Tommy goes crashing back first into the steel guardrail as Chris Benoit approaches The Sandman and throwing him up to his feet hits him with a massive chop! Though he's obviously hurt by it, The Sandman smiles at Benoit who then tears Sandman's hockey jersey before chopping his bare chest! This one sends The Sandman down on his ass and Chris Benoit goes to pick him back up to his feet. But The Sandman counters with an uppercut! He and Benoit begin trading punches while collecting himself Tommy Dreamer grabs a baseball bat and wraps it in barb wire! He charges at Benoit swinging!
Chris spins about however using The Sandman as a shield! Dreamer can't stop himself and cracks Sandman in to head busting him open! Grabbing the back Benoit drops The Sandman to the ground and swings at Tommy tearing open his opponent's right arm as he attempts to cover himself! As Dreamer falls back against the guardrail in pain Benoit eliminates The Sandman. As "The Canadian Crippler" gets back to his feet Tommy kicks him in the gut multiple times, but Benoit no-sells it and grabs Dreamer by his torn open arm and uses an arm wrench! Dreamer cries out in agony as Chris continues to work of his arm. He then uses the arm to propel Dreamer back first into the apron! He hammers away on Tommy whom he soon busts open with a headbutt! He rolls him into the ring and using the top rope propels himself inside with a somersault onto Dreamer before making the cover! 1!... 2!.....
Dreamer kicks out! Chris Benoit looks pissed and getting to his feet kicks Dreamer in the side before locking in the Crippler Crossface! Dreamer is screaming in pain and drags himself across the ring. He makes it to the ropes! But there's no rope breaks! Tommy seems to realize this and is on the verge of tapping when he grabs Chris' arm and bites him! Benoit goes wide-eyed as he drops back and Dream catches him with a back elbow to the face! And another! He begins putting the boots to Benoit, but Chris doesn't stay down for long and rolling out he comes back with a running clothesline that looks to take Dreamer's head clean off! He proceeds to stomp a mudhole in Dreamer before heading to the corner and climbing up top! Benoit signals for the Flyinfg Headbutt! He shoots off the top and it looks to be over! Just then however Tommy grasps a weapon. It's the Sandman's flask! Turning quickly he catches Benoit in the face with it tearing his own fingers open in the process! Chris hits the ground hard and rolls on the floor screaming. Pulling himself up to his feet Tommy keeps the metal flask in his hand as he begins hammering on Benoit's skull! Chris is dazed and broken open as he staggers to his feet and Tommy Dreamer moves in and scoops him up; hitting a fallaway slam onto a steel chair! He makes the cover! 1!... 2!...
Chris Benoit kicks out! He pops back up to his feet as does Dreamer who's a second slower. Benoit tears into Dreamer without mercy and ends up hitting him with not one, but three consecutive German Suplexes! He bridges the last one! 1!...2!... th- Dreamer kicks out! reee! Benoit gets up to his knees in deisbelief and wipes sweat from his face as Tommy Dreamer lies motioneless on the floor. Getting up he drags Tommy to the center of the ring and goes to set up the sharpshooter! But Dreamer turns about and pushes Benoit forward with both feet! He stumbles towards the ropes and falls out of the ring! Back up and covered in blood Tommy Dreamer grabs a garbage can and charges across the ring as Benoit gets up to his feet! He leaps with a tope dive onto Chris slamming him in the head with the garbage can! Both men fall to the ground and don't look like they're getting up, but Dreamer is up first. He places a chair onto Benoit's chest and climbs up onto the apron! He then leaps off and hits a leg drop onto the chair! He does it again and hits an elbow drop! Dreamer makes the cover. 1!...2!... Benoit powers out! Chris is back up on one knee as Tommy Dreamer gets up to his feet; and charges in circling about Tommy and grabs him about the waist looking for the German Suplex! But Dreamer has "The Canadian Crippler" by the neck and counters with a swinging neckbreaker onto the steel chair! Dreamer crawls onto Benoit! 1!... 2!... 3! Tommy Dreamer has won it!After the break "White Train" by Tito & Tarantula hits and ECW President Eric Bischoff swaggers out from the back. He comes down to the ring and gets on the mic where he thanks us for joining him and the rest of the ECW gang here tonight at The Georgia Coliseum! First off he has some great news. The opening match, and how brutal was that; went on a little too long. But thanks to the folks at home the ratings were there; so our home station of TNN The Nashville Network has given the okay to make tonight's Big Event; Hardcore Heaven three hours long! And what could be better than an extra hour of ECW?! Certainly nothing on a music network. Speaking of the Hardcore Invitational Eric would like to thank all the participants here tonight for putting on one hell of a match! He then says he'd like to welcome "The Innovator of Violence" Tommy Dreamer to the roster here at Eastern Championship. He says that while Tommy is currently off receiving medical attention for injuries he received during tonight's melee; he's sure we'll be hearing from him again next week. So be sure to stay tuned.
Now as we all know when we see the visage of Eric Bischoff out here in the ring, it can only mean one thing and one thing alone; business! And what business does he have here tonight? Well some amazing new ECW t-shirts of course! He then has some scantily clad young women show off all the new t-shirt designs runway style. He grins and asks us who wouldn't want those? He says that he's sure by now we've all heard enough from him tonight so let's get back to some wrestling. He hopes; though he already knows we'll all enjoy the rest of Hardcore Heaven!
Circus music begins playing and we see Luna Vachon headed to the ring with Doink the Clown on crutches? He has a sad face painted on now. Lanny is still trying to figure out what Luna sees in Doink and Gene tells him there's someone out there for everybody. So to keep looking.
Alexandra: The following match is for the Women's Championship and must be won by Submission. Introducing first the challenger accompanied to the ring by Doink the Clown and weighing in at 140 lbs. From Atlanta, Georgia she is "Mad Dog" Luna Vachon!
Luna enters the ring and yells at the booing fans while Danny Davis instructs Doink to remain outside. The Clown mockingly wipes tears from her eyes as "Hot Stuff" by Donna Summers plays and Debbie Combs appears on the ramp with the Women's Title about her waist. She is still sporting the leg brace from her injury she incurred at the hands of "The Man-Beast" Rhino.
Alexandra: And introducing at this time from Fort Campbell, Kentucky weighing 150 lbs. she is the Eastern Women's Champion "Hot Stuff" Debbie Combs!Women's Title Submission Match: Debbie Combs vs. Luna Vachon Debbie Combs goes on the offense from the second Davis starts the match surprising Luna Vachon. It's obvious Combs is favoring her leg and she is a bit slower than usual; but she shows a surprsing number of submission holds, applying the double chickenwing, the surfboard, the single leg Boston Crab, the cross armbreaker; and the Texas Cloverleaf amongst others. Luna however is one powerful woman and fights her way free. As expected she fouses on the injured leg of Debbie Combs using several leglocks in an attempt to get her to submit. Toward the end of the match Combs can barely stand but fights on making it to the ropes to escape from the figure four leglock which Luna refruses to relinquish. Danny Davis pulls Luna aside and begins to admonish her while "Hot Stuff" uses the ropes to get back to her feet. She isn't standing long however because from behind Doink the Clown takes his crutch and slams her in the back of the leg! Combs cries out and falls to the ground, but of course Davis didn't see a thing. Dragging her opponent back into the middle of the ring the sadistic Luna Vachon puts Debbie Combs in the Argentine Leglock over the shoulder single leg boston crab! Combs screams in pain while Doink laughs maniacally at rinsgside. Debbie Combs finally gives in and taps out! Luna Vachon is the new Women's Champion!
Luna Vachon celebrates in the ring with Doink the Clown as the Lady Alexandra enters and announces the winner. Before she gets to finish however "Mad Dog" grabs her and plants one on her! Lanny thinks he may've died and gotten his dream job at Hustler; when just as suddenly Luna hits her former manager with a snap suplex! Doink the Clown finds the hilarious but "Mean" Gene doesn't. Lady Alexandra is down and out as ECW goes to... Back from the break Okerlund is disgusted by the new Women's Champion "Mad Dog" Luna Vachon's actions here tonight which he describes as reprehensible. He then informs us that during the break ECW's ring announcer Lady Alexandra has been rushed to the hospital with a possible broken neck. ECW President Eric Bischoff has sent out Joel Gertner to fill in for her and says that he'll deal with "Miss" Vachon and her partner Doink the Clown right here next week.
He and Lanny then hype the next match. A match that has been in the making since late last year when Destruction Inc. attacked then ECW Champion "Macho Man" Randy Savage just one night before he lost the Title at Wrestle Annual. They then talk about Savage's renewed interest in "The Man-Beast" Rhino and "The Machiavellan Mauler" Mongo Vyle following his failed attempt to reclaim the Championship at King of the Mountain. Since then he has been a thorn in the tag-team's side that they've been looking to root out one way or another culminating in Rhino accidental assault on Debbie Combs several weeks ago which Poffo at least says was no accident.Gertner: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first at a combined 490 lbs.; the team of "Macho Man" Randy Savage and Steve Corino! "Pomp and Circumstance" hits as Randy Savage emerges from the back with Steve Corino. They get about two feet before Savage pauses and turns to point behind him. He continues to gesture until Corino falls behind him. Okerlund calls Randy a jerk and Lanny says that he won't get no argument from him there as the two men enter the ring. "Macho Man" hands Corino his hat and cape before posing for the crowd. "Fucking Hostile" by Pantera then erupts through the arena as Rhino and "The Machiavellan Mauler" Mongo Vyle appear on the ramp arms raised with Takako Inoue in tow.
Gertner: And now coming to the ring their challengers accompanied to the ring by the beautiful Takako Inoue and weighing a combined 596 lbs. they are the team of Destruction Inc.; "The Man-Beast" Rhino and "The Machiavellan Mauler" Mongo Vyle!Tag-Team Match: Randy Savage & Steve Corino vs. Destruction Inc. Referee S.D. Jones starts the match with Randy Savage and Rhino in the ring. The two men lock up and press for leverage but are too evenly matched. Eventually Savage ducks behind "The Man-Beast" and brings him down to the mat with a gutwrench Suplex. He traps him in a headlock as Rhino fights his way to one knee and with a burst of energy pushes Randy back into the ropes! Savage looks surprised as Rhino goes for a back body drop! He ducks too early however and "Macho Man"treats him to a kick to the face. As Rhino staggers back Randy dives in for rolls him up for a pin! 1!... 2!.. Rhino kicks out! He pops back up and meets Savage in the middle of the ring where they begin trading punches. Neither man gives up any ground until "The Man-Beast" follows through with an elbow strike. Hammering on Randy he forces the "Macho Man" back into the ropes where he whips him across the ring and connects with a big boot! He makes a cover, but only gets a one. Lifting Savage to a seated position Rhino begins hammering his head before pulling him to his feet and nails him with a release German Suplex! Randy hits the ground hard but circles back up only to get Irish whipped once again by "The Man-Beast!" On the rebound Rhino goes for a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker; but Savage wiggles free and lands on his feet before he hits it! He busts Rhino in the jaw before whipping him across the ring and following him in for a hairpull hangman over the top rope! Rhino falls back hard as Randy climbs the apron. He mocks Rhino as the big man gets up to his feet and using the top rope tp leap up onto it; he hits a springboard crossbody pin! 1!...2!... Rhino kicks out! Savage keeps on top of Rhino, but when he pulls him to him feet Rhino takes him down to the mat with a snapmare. Rhino then locks him in a headlock and Savage struggles to free himself. Realizing Randy isn't about to tap Rhino pulls him back to his corner and tags in Mongo Vyle. Together the two men whip "Macho Man" across the ring and on the rebound nail him with their Death Drop flapjack/cutter combo! Vyle goes for the win! 1!...2!... Savage kicks out! "The Machiavellan Mauler" puts the boots to Rhino before pulling him to his feet and hitting him with a shoulder block which he following up with a lifting side slam! He makes the cover. 1!... 2!... Savage kicks out! Mongo holds his hands up in disbelief as he gets back to his feet. Once he does though Randy Savage pops up and hits him with a surprise spinebuster! He then runs the ropes and hits an elbow drop on Vyle. Mongo gets back up to one knee and Randy begins hammering on him; but back in the game already Vyle fires back and fights his way back up to his feet! He gets the better of Savage here and throws him into the corner where he begins pummeling the "Macho Man." Once he's worn Randy down a bit Mongo runs back and charges in with a big body avalanche! Randy wobbles out of the corner and "The Mauler" hauls him up onto his shoulders; but Randy slides off and grabbing Vyle's head smashes him into the turnbuckle! He then climbs up top and comes down on him with the double axe handle! Steve Corino is looking to get tagged in and Savage though weary looks at him for a second before dismissing the notion! He turns back to Vyle and gets decapitated with a clothesline! Mongo then returns to his corner and tags Rhino back in. The two men walk over and pick Savage back up to his feet. They set him up for a double DDT! But Savage blocks it and hits the duo with a double DDT! Steve Corino is hungry to get inside the ring, but Savage ignores him and makes the cover on Rhino instead. 1!.... 2! Rhino kicks out! Randy climbs on top of the big man and begins pounding on him; until S.D. Jones breaks it up. He then lifts Rhino to his feet, but receives an eye rake instead! As Savage grabs his face in pain Rhino nails him with a suplex! He then stalks his prey as Randy slowly makes it back up to his feet and charging across the ring nails him with The Gore striking spear! Savage folds in half and Rhino hooks the leg! 1!... 2!.... Randy kicks out! 3! Rhino continues to begins dominating "Macho Man" and continues to beat on him for a while before setting Randy up for a powerbomb! Savage looks out of it; but suddenly coming alive begins raining punches down on Rhino's head causing "The Man-Beast" to fall back headfirst into the canvas with Savage sitting on his face. Randy gets to his feet haggard looking and Steve Corino extends his hand to make the tag! Savage however delines and begins "Maccho-ing" up! He grabs Rhino who is back up on one knee and begins punching him in the face; and hits a delayed vertial suplex on him! He makes the cover. 1!... 2!... Rhino kicks out! Savage is dripping sweat and looks angry as he pulls Rhino up to his feet and begins hacking away at the back of the big man's head and neck. But Rhino slaps him away and going on the offensive drives Savage into the ropes choking him out! Rhino occasionally stops at the ref'a insistance to punch Randy in the head. This continues until Steve Corino makes the blind tag! Grabbing Rhino by the shoulder, Steve Corino waits for Rhino to turn before letting him have it with a hard right! Randy doesn't seem to know what's going on as Corino begins hammering away on "The Man-Beast" driving him into the corner where Steve works him over for a bit before hitting him with a running bulldog that leaves Rhino sprawled out in the middle of the ring! Going up top Steve Corino leaps off and hits a leg drop before making the cover! 1!... 2!... Mongo breaks the count! Vyle stops it with a running elbow drop and then proceeds to kick Corino. S.D. Jones is right on top of this however and gets Vyle out of the ring. Savage wants back in in a bad way, but Steve locks in a headlock to Rhino as he fights his way to one knee and then his feet. Rhino fires battles out with an elbow and the two men fight pretty evenly about the ring with Rhino pressing his strength advantage every chance he gets. Getting the drop on Corino Rhino nails him with a facebreaker over his knee that bloodies Steve's lip and knocks him to the floor. Rhino sees his opening and hangs back waiting as Corino gets back up to his feet and charges acros the ring looking for The Gore! Steve Corino sees it coming however and pops up nailing Rhino head-on with a dropkick! Rhino crashes back to the mat and Randy wants in! Steve Corino locks eyes with Savage and there's a tense moment before he tags him back in. "Macho Man" Randy Savage signals for the Flying Elbow Drop and mounting the top turnbuckle goes airborne! He connects and makes the cover. 1!...2!...3! Savage and Corino have won it! They celebrate in the ring while an annoyed Mongo Vyle pulls Rhino out of the ring and begins arguing with him on their way up the ramp."Mean" Gene and Lanny welcome us back from the break before hyping the next match of the evening. They discuss "Mr. Wednesday Night" Rob Van Dam's year long reign as the Eastern States Champ before he lost the Title at ECW's King of the Mountain PPV to "Ravishing" Rick Rude. They then discuss Rude's quest to capture the Championship, a path that had many obstacles, particularly his match with brutal Off The Chain Match with Junkyard Dog just one night before the PPV. Add to this he was the first entrant in the 30-Man Battle Royal and had to beat 29 other men just to earn the right to challenge RVD that very night. Still Rude defied the odds and went on to become the new Eastern States Champ. His celebrations were cut short however the following Wednesday when he had to face "Mangler's Monster" The Blitzkrieg in a Title match that had originally be scheduled for Rob Van Dam. They talk about Van Dam's problems with The Blitzkrieg and his manager The Baron Von Raschke since entering ECW and the path of destruction The Blitzkrieg cut through ECW in his crusade to take the belt off of Van Dam. While it wasn't his destiny to beat RVD for the Title; on February 15th he got the Championship just the same when he savagely dismembered the already battered Rick Rude who had one the belt just a week prevoiously. Tonight The Blitzkrieg will face both former holders of his Eastern States Championship when "Mr. Wednesday Night" Rob Van Dam and "The Ravishing One" Rick Rude attempt to reclaim the belt in a Ladder Match!
Gertner: The following contest is a Triple Threat Ladder Match and it is for the Eastern States Championship! Introducing the first challenger from Detroit, Michigan weighing 245 lbs. he is "Mr. Wednesday Night" Rob Van Dam!
"Poundcake" by Van Halen hits as RVD appears on the ramp and heads down to the ring where he poses for the crowd, pointing to his shoulders as they chant "Rob... Van... Dam!" Van Dam hops down and shakes hands with referee Danny Davis. Just then Rick Rude's strip theme hits. Rude comes out and drops his robe on the ramp and gives the ladies a show.
Gertner: Introducing the second challenger hailing from Robbinsdale, Minnesota and weighing in at 251 lbs. "Ravishing" Rick Rude!
Rude heads down to the ring. He and RVD eye one another up until "Ich tu der weh" by Rammstein explodes across the arena. The Baron Von Raschke leads his charges Aryan and The Blitzkrieg down to the ring.
Gertner: And making his way to the ring now accompanied by The Baron Von Raschke and Aryan, weighing in at 323 lbs. from The Republic of Germany; he is the Eastern States Champion; "Mangler's Monster" The Blitzkrieg!Eastern States Championship Ladder Match: The Blitzkrieg vs. Rob Van Dam vs. Rick Rude Before he begins the match referee Danny Davis sends the Baron Von Raschke and Aryan to the back! They both put up a fight; but eventually cave and head up the ramp. Aryan's head is bandaged from his involvement in the Hardcore Battle Royal earlier in the night. At the start of the match Rob Van Dam and Rick Rude have a long face-off against the monster known as The Blitzkrieg; a man both of them have met in the ring many times before. The two men glance at one another and seem to know what the other has in mind as the backslide out of the ring and grab the ladder as a single unit. Sliding back in The Blitzkrieg charges; but so do Rude and Van Dam who holding either end of the ladder slam him to the mat with it! Blitzkrieg goes down hard as the two men run past. They wait for "Mangler's Monster" to get back up to one knee and running across whack him in the head! Blitzkrieg goes down hard as the two men wait for another pass! Slowly the monster gets to all fours and then one knee. Rick and Rob charge in; but this time Blitzkrieg leaps up and snatches the ladder from their hands and in one fluid motion uppecuts them both with it! Taking the ladder over his head The Blitzkrieg bashes it down hard onto RVD before tossing it aside and picking Rob up to his feet by the scuff of his neck. He proceeds to toss "Mr. Wednesday Night" out of the ring like a sack of trash. Turning about "Mangler's Monster" is just in time to catch Rick Rude by the throat and chokeslams him into the canvas! Picking up the ladder Blitzkrieg sets it up on top of "The Ravishing One" and proceeds to climb it. He reaches the belt when Van Dam appears on the apron and leaping up to the top rope hits a springboard spinning wheelkick on the ladder! It goes over immediately and The Blitzkrieg hits the hangs on until it hits the top rope and then plummets to the floor below! Grabbing the ladder Van Dam runs towards the ropes as "Mangler's Monster" gets to his feet and performs a tope dive ladder first! Both men clatter to the floor with the ladder and stay down. Meanwhile inside the ring Rick Rude has recovered and with swagger exits the ring. On the outside he picks up the ladder but a hand stops him. It's Rob Van Dam! RVD's head is busted open, but this doesn't stop Rick from clocking him with the ladder. He then throws it inside the ring and is about to climb in when someone grabs his foot. It's The Bliztkrieg! He hangs onto the second rope and turning kicks The Blitzkrieg off of him. He then crouches on the apron before leaping off and taking The Monster down with a diving knee drop. He then grabs the big man by his mask and begins hammering on him before rolling back into the ring. He grabs the ladder and turns to set it up only to have Van Dam kick it up into his face. "Ravishing" goes down hard clutching his face and Van Dam places the ladder on him before turning to the crowd and pointing to his shoulders as they chant "Rob!... Van!... Dam! He then hits a standing moonsault onto the chair. Only he gave Rick enough time to grab it and thrust it up at him! RVD hits it hard and bounces back onto the mat. Rick sets the ladder back up and begins the climb; but The Blitzkrieg is back inside the ring! He climbs the opposing side and as Rude grabs the Title, "Mangler's Monster" rocks him hard with a shot to the chest! Rude doesn't fall and fires back; trading punches with The Blitzkrieg and clearly getting the worst of it. Realizing he is losing Rude ducks down and begins rocking the ladder! Both men fall off the ladder and hit the mat with a crash seconds before the ladder! Van Dam is now back up though and seeing his chance he pulls the ladder back up and heads up it only to be grabbed from behind. He turns and comes face to face with Aryan Von Raschke! RVD is confused and receives a quick superkick that sends him back hard into the ladder! As he falls forward Aryan grabs him and tosses him out of the ring! Rolling outside himself Aryan begins stomping the stuffing out of Van Dam while Danny Davis yells at him to get into the back over the top rope. The ladder is still set up and Rick Rude is first back to his feet. He pushes the ladder into position; but The Blitzkrieg is right there. Rude hits him with a hard right and "Mangler's Monster" fires back. The two men begin trading punches until Blitzkrieg grabs "The Ravishing One" and whips him hard into the corner! He then runs in and connects with a big boot to the face dropping Rude! The masked man turns toward the ladder and begins plodding toward it! Meanwhile on the outside, Rob Van Dam has turned the tables on Aryan with a monkey flip into the guardrail! He asks a fan for a chair and placing it on top of the younger Von Raschke he climbs up onto the apron, leaps off and connects with a Van Terminator dropkick that splits Aryan open again! Rob looks pleased as blood uses from Von Raschke's bandaged head and turns toward the ring. Where he sees The Blitzkrieg has reached the top of the ladder! He hops up onto the apron, but it's too late! "Mangler's Monster" has the Title! He's retained the Eastern States Championship! Rick meanwhile is back up and looking pissed. He signals to Van Dam who obliges him in helping dump the ladder over with the Champion still on it! Van Dam and Rude high five shake hands before exiting the ring and heading up the ramp together. Inside the ring The Blitzkrieg gets to his feet and looks pissed as he holds the Title gangling from one hand.

After the break "Mean" Gene and Lanny remind us that next week on May 9th Eastern Championship Wrestling will be coming to us live from the West Palm Beach Civic Audtiorium in West Palm Beach, Florida. ECW's first show in the The Orange State. While tickets are sold out for that show; as always the folks at home can catch the action live right here on TNN The Nashville Network; Eastern Championship's home station.
They then talk about the Inter-Promotional Championship which was awarded to "The Long Island Loud-Mouth" Chris Jericho after he defeated Pete Rose back at the King of the Mountaint Pay Per-View. They then talk about the night afterward when former New York Giants linebacker "L.T." Lawrence Taylor came out and issued a challenge to Jericho. They discuss their rivalry since including Taylor's 10-Man wrestling exhibition and his attack on Jericho following "The Loud-Mouth's" match with Jerry Lawler several weeks ago. Finally they talk about Jericho's cocky attitude throughout and his efforts to anger Taylor by showing up at Taylor's old High School and his little "training" video. Poffo thinks Jericho's antics have been hilarious; but Okerlund just finds him to be an idiot. Just then Lawrence Taylor appears on the ramp wearing his Giants jersey.
Gertner: The following contest is a No Disquailifcation match. Scheduled for one fall it is for the Inter-Promotional Championship! Introducing first the challenger from Williamsburg, Virginia weighing 241 lbs.; he is former New York Giants linebacker, number 56, Lawrence Taylor!
Taylor comes down to the ring and gets a huge reaction while he poses for the fans. He then shakes hands with referee S.D. Jones."You're the best around" by Joe Espisito then hits as Chris Jericho emerges from the back carrying the Inter-Promotional Championship in one hand as he swaggers down toward the ring.
Gertner: And introducing at this time from Manhasset, New York; he is the Inter-Promotional Champion of the World; "The Long Island Loud-Mouth" Chris Jericho!Inter-Promotional Title Match: Chris Jericho vs. Lawrence Taylor From the bell Lawrence Taylor just wants to get his hands on Chris Jericho; but "The Loud-Mouth" has other plans as he does his best to keep out of Taylor's reach. That knockout punch following Jericho's match with Lawler must still hurt. Lawrence shrugs to the crowd and begins mocking Jericho, shaking his arms like a chicken. This angers Chris who gets in Taylor's face and begins screaming at him until "L.T." smacks the taste out of his mouth! Jericho lands hard on his ass before bouncing back up and leaning on the ropes looking at "L.T." in disbelief. He doesn't get much rest however because Taylor comes in firing on all cylinders. He begins hammering Chris up against the ropes and clothelines him out of the ring! "The Loud-Mouth" hits the ground hard and gets to his feet but Taylor is out on the apron already and drops down for a double axe handle! Knocking Chris to the floor he begins putting the boots to him before pulling him up to his feet, tossing him back into the guardrail and slamming him with a shoulder thrust! Lawrence mugs for the crowd as they come unglued and he hits a second shoulder thrust! He then circles about and launches into Jericho for a third! But Chris moves out of the way and "L.T" smashes hard into the cold steel! As Taylor reels in pain Jericho charges forward and nails him with a bulldog on the concrete! He starts putting the boots to him screaming at him the whole while before pulling Lawrence up to his feet and attempts to Irish whip him into the steel steps! Taylor reverses however and sends Chris crashing into the steps which break apart! With Chris down Taylor picks up a section of steps and hoists it into the air and down on Jericho. But Chris throws up his feet and kicks them back in Taylor's face! The big man spins back and falls onto the guardrail for support as "The Long Island Loud-Mouth" gets to his feet and grabbing "L.T." by the head begins hammering his face into the guardrail! After several shots however Lawrence grabs the railing to block and taking Chris by the head hammers him into it. Jericho breaks open! Grabbing Chris by the foreheard Lawrence hits him with a hard right and begins hitting lefts and rights knocking Jericho around the ring like a scolded dog. Chris hits the floor after several shots and doesn't back up. Instead crawling about as Lawrence continues to punch and kick him. Finally having had enough Jericho escapes back into the ring for a breather. Lawrence climbs back up onto the apron to re-enter the ring and seeing him Chris charges acros the ring and leaping into the air hits a jumping corkscrew roundhouse kick that sends the Giants linebacker out to the floor! Jericho yells at the downed Taylor before using the top rope to leap up onto it and turning in one fluid motion hits a springboard moonsault onto Taylor from the outside! He hits him hard and has to crawl over him for the cover. 1!... 2!... Taylor kicks out! Both men are hurt and slow to get back up, but Jericho gets his second wind first and begins hammering on the still rising Lawrence against the guardrail. Taylor begins firing back and Jericho clearly gets the worse of it until "L.T" nails him with a lifting side slam! He makes the cover. 1!... 2!. Chris kicks out! Climbing on top of his downed opponent Taylor begins hammering on him, causing more blood to gush out of "The Loud-Mouth's" head. Getting his hands up Jericho retaliates with a thumb to the eye and an elbow smash that allows him to get back to his feet. Back up Jericho delivers the boots to the head of "L.T." before Chris goes and bothers the fans, taking a chair from them. He proceeds to stalk the former Giant who's already back on his feet and hits him with the chair grazing him. He hauls back again, but this time Taylor takes the chair and cements it into his face bending it over Jericho's head. He then hands the fan their damaged chair back receiving a huge pop. This gives Jericho enough time to get back to his feet however and as Taylor turns around Chris charges and springboards off the steel steps for a diving elbow smash that takes both him and Lawrence over the guardrail and into the audience! The two men spill into the crowd and begin trading punches before Taylor gets the better of Jericho and lifting him up onto his shoulder carries him back to the guardrail and powerslams him onto the other side of it! He then climbs over and taking Chris back up to his feet rolls him into the ring before climbing back in himself. Chris is dazed but getting back up when "L.T". begins pounding on "The Loud-Mouth's" bloodied visage again! He hauls Jericho back up to his feet and powerbombs him! He hooks the leg! 1!... 2!.... Jericho kicks out! Lifting Jericho to a seated position he locks him in a headlock and attempts to choke Chris out; but Jericho fights his way up to his feet and turning about kicks Taylor in the gut! He hits him in the head, but Taylor tosses "Long Island" back and whips him across the ring before laying him out with a big boot! He pulls Jericho back up and whips him again! He goes for a second big boot, but Chris baseball slides under him and popping up hits him with a jumping double knee backbreaker! Taylor goes down hard as Chris comes alive and running toward the ropes his the springboard moonsault! He makes the cover! 1!... 2!... Lawrence kicks out! Chris looks shocked but pulls it together and kicks Taylor while he's on the ground before pulling him up to his knee and punching him in the face! He begins hammering on Taylor, but the big man leaps up and catches "The Loud-Mouth" in a bearhug before following it up with a spinebuster! He goes to makes the cover, but Chris rolls clear and pops up with a superkick! Taylor grabs his leg however and Chris counters with a step up enziguiri! Taylor spins and hits the ground hard as Jericho cheers for himself triumphantly! He then points to the corner and climbs the turnbuckle where he waits for Lawrence Taylor to get back to his feet. As Taylor rises Chris Jericho goes airborne and nails the big man with a missile dropkick! Taylor hits the canvas hard and Jericho makes the cover. 1!... Taylor begins to struggle. 2!... As Taylor attempts to kick out Chris gets his feet up onto the second rope for leverage! 3! Jericho has won it! He hops out of the ring and grabs his Inter-Promotional Title as a pissed Lawrence Taylor looks on from inside the ring. Neither he nor the ref seems to have seen Jericho's feet on the rope and Chris points to his Title while hollering at Taylor as he heads back up the ramp triumphant. After the break "Mean" Gene Okerlund and Lanny talk about the Tag-Team Titles and how The Lawlers won them back on January 26th earlier this year. They discuss how the longest reigning tag-team here at Eastern Championhip has been The New Orient Express led by Mr. Fuji; who held the Titles for an impressive six months. The Lawlers have already head the belts for half that and certainly don't want to lose them here tonight. They then talk about the challengers Brickhouse Brown and Butch Reed and their assertion that the wrestling industry itself is racist having virtually no Champions of color. Lanny says that this is ridiculous. That Titles are earned. Not handed out and that if they want someone "of color" to hold one, well then they should get the Title the old-fashioned way. By winning it. Lawler says he's sure that is exactly what these two men intend to do here tonight; having worked their way to a Title shot by defeating three other teams, Destruction Inc., The New Orient Express; and Deep South in a Four Team Elimination Match back on April 11th to earn the shot here tonight. Particularly impressive considering both The Express and Destruction Inc. have held the Titles before. "Fight the Power" by The Isley Brothers plays as Butch Reed and Brickhouse Brown appear on the ramp
Gertner: The following contest is a Falls Count Anywhere Match. Scheduled for one fall it is for the Tag-Team Championship. Introducing first the challengers who're accompanied to the ring by KAMA; weighing in at a combined 532 lbs.; they are the team of "Hacksaw" Butch Reed and "The Man of the Hour" Brickhouse Brown!Brown and Reed stalk about the ring receiving heat from the crowd here in Atlanta. Reed gets on the mic. He tells the honkies in this hillbilly state that he knows they don't like him. That they know they don't like change. And hell he don't blame them either. With that vanilla freakshow from this state winning the Women's Title today and everyone's hometown tub of a hero Arn Anderson with the Heavyweight Title why would they want change. But they better get used to it. Cause change it coming. It's time for a change. And it starts right here. Right now.
The Bill Conti Overture then hits and out come The Lawlers with the Tag-Team Titles about Jerry's waist and over Brian's shoulder.
Gertner: And introducing the Eastern Tag-Team Champions weighing a combined 456 lbs. from Memphis, Tennessee; they are Brian and Jerry "The King" Lawler!Tag-Team Title Match: The Lawlers vs. Brickhouse Brown & Butch Reed Danny Davis starts the match with Brickhouse Brown starting things off with Brian Lawler. They get a good back and forth going, exchanging nearfalls when Brown hits his swinging neckbreaker and the junior Lawler while on the apron nails Brickhouse with a sunset flip powerbomb that almost ends things early. From there Brickhouse tags in big Butch Reed who comes in and decimates Brian who gets little offense in against him. After a military press drop from Reed, Jerry comes in with a diving elbow to make the save from the pin and all four men brawl about the ring until Davis restores some order. A bit recuperated Brian Lawler mounts some offense against Reed getting a near two after Reed whips him into the ropes and Brian hits him with a surprise dropkick. It doesn't take Butch long to take back control however after KAMA reaches in to trip Brian up. Reed and Brown cut off the ring keeping Brian in their corner with quick tags. They attempt to pin him multiple times but Brian keeps kicking out until he finally surprises Brickhouse Brown with a siutout faceplant that allows him to tag his father in. Brown meanwhile tags Butch Reed back in and he and Jerry Lawler begin throwing punches in the middle of the ring. Neither man really gets the better of each other as the two men battle around the ring until Reed hits Jerry with a double underhook suplex that gets him a close three. From there he dominates Lawler until he captures him in a seated full nelson from which Jerry rallies back and dropping his singlet strap explodes all over Reed until he tags in Brian. They give him a double dose of Lawler, taking him down with a double flapjack before Brian goes up top and nails him with the Tennessee Jam guillotine legdrop. He then tags Jerry Lawler back in and "The King" sets the dazed Butch Reed up with the Piledriver and connects! Brickhouse however distractes Davis by climbing into the ring and while is back is turned KAMA enters with his brass knucks in hand! He decks Jerry in the jaw knocking "The King" out cold! Brian rushes in to his father's rescue and KAMA swings at him, but the younger Lawler ducks it! And begins grappling with him! Brickhouse tries to stop Davis; but he turns to see KAMA in the ring with the weapon and a groggy Jerry rubbing his head. He calls for the DQ awariding the match to The Lawlers!
Brian helps his father up to his feet and they grab they leave the ring grabbing the Tag belts while inside the ring Butch Reed and Brickhouse are having a heated argument with KAMA who they say have failed them for the last time. Soon they are shoving him and when KAMA shoves back Brickhouse and Reed put a beating on him. KAMA is down on the floor in pain as they put the boots to their former ally.Okerlund and Poffo welcome us back from the last commercial break of the evening. They then hype tonight's big Main Event where ECW Champion "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson will defend his Title against "Rugged" Ronnie Garvin in a Steel Cage. They discuss Anderson and Garvin's history together here at Eastern Championship. From their number one contender's match at Wrestle Annual the same night Anderson went on to win the belt, to Garvin's recent hunt for the Title which culminated in a tainted victory for AA several weeks ago to retain the Title. Lanny blames referee S.D. Jones for that and says he should've been fired for not seeing "The Rugged One" getting his foot up on the rope. "Mean" Gene says it was a simple human error and as usual Poffo is taking things too far.
They then discuss the fact that tonight's match is a cage match and "The Enforcer's" trepidation going into this match. They talk about the way Anderson's career was nearly brought to an end by the "Macho Man" Randy Savage in a Steel Cage last year. Gene doesn't blame Arn for being weary going into tonight's match, but highly doubts that AA won't give it his all here in tonight's match. "The Genius" just thinks Anderson should quit being a baby and stop making excuses in case he loses his Title here tonight.
Gertner: The following main event is a Steel Cage Match and is for the Eastern Heavyweight Championship. This match can only be won by pinfall, submission; or escaping the cage. Introducing first the challenger hailing from Montreal, Quebec, Canada weighing in at 231 lbs.; he is "Rugged" Ronnie Garvin!
Garvin comes down to the ring and shakes hands with referee S.D. Jones. Poffo finds this ridiculous and says that Ron should punch Jones in the face after screwing him out of the Title. He would. Okerlund wouldn't be surprised by that, but puts Garvin over as a class act here at Eastern Championship. Just then "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson appears on the ramp with the ECW Title around his waist.
Gertner: And now introducing from Rome, Georgia weighing 255 lbs. he is the Eastern Heavyweight Champion; "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson!Main Event Eastern Heavyweight Championship Steel Cage Match: Arn Anderson vs. Ronnie Garvin The ECW Champion gets a huge ovation here in Georgia and gets another when he shakes hands with the challenger. Jones starts the match and Arn Anderson locks up with Ronnie Garvin. The two men grapple for leverage and Garvin gets the upperhand driving Anderson back into the ropes where he begins putting the fists to him. After taking several chops Anderson fires back and takes control with a knee to Ron's gut before running him face first into the top turnbuckle. From there he hoists him up for a back body drop and makes the cover getting a one. Keeping on top of him he grabs Garvin in a front headlock but Ronnie fights his way out and hammers Arn into the corner where he climbs up to the second rope and hits him for five before allowing Anderson to drop to the floor. Climbing up top Garvin waits for Arn to get back to his feet before letting him have it with a flying crossbody pin! AA through and gets a two count off it. Both men spring to their feet and begin trading punches, but Ron once again gets the better of "The Enforcer" and grabbing him by the head delivers several knees to the Champ's face and chest before hitting a vertical suplex! He makes the cover but only gets a near two. He then signals and hits The Garvin Stomp! He cover Arn again but comes away with a two. Turning toward the cage Ron points to the sky before beginning the climb up top. He's halfway up the cage as Arn gets to his feet and Anderson doesn't look real big on following him. He hesitates and "The Rugged One" nears the top. Poffo says that Anderson is about to choke and lose his Championship! He looks to be right at Garvin hits the top and beginning pulling himself up. But Arn Anderson grudgingly starts the climb and soon is up top with Garvin. Both men are near the top and Garvin claws at Arn's hand trying to pry him off the cage. Anderson however fights back and begins kicking at Ron's legs. Throwing "Rugged's" hand away from him Anderson hits an elbow strike across Ronnie's face. And another! He then moves over and grabbing Garvin by the head throws them both back off the cage! Garvin and Anderson both hit the mat hard and stay down for a good bit. AA is first to crawl to his knees and climbing onto Garvin punches him in the face before making the cover. He still only gets a one before Garvin rolls him over and begins hammering on the Champ! Anderson reverses however and on top of "The Rugged One" begins punching his lights out! Staggering to his feet Anderson kicks Ronnie in the face and catches a breather. This however allows Ron to get back up and slugs "The Enforcer!" Arn fires back and battles Garvin back into the ropes! He hoists Ron up into the air and nails him with a surprised slingshot suplex! He makes the cover! 1!... 2!... Garvin powers out! AA picks Ronnie up to his feet and begins hammering on his back and head, but "Rugged" blocks and whips Arn across the ring. He charges in and nails the Champ with a running knee and follows it with a facebuster into his knee that staggers Arn. He grabs "The Enforcer" and looks to be going for a suplex, but Arn counters with a DDT! He makes the cover! 1!... 2!... Garvin kicks out! Getting back to his feet Anderson is sweating pretty bad as he hoists Ron up and hits the Gourdbuster! He hooks Ronnie's leg. 1!... 2! Garvin kicks out! AA looks frustrated and the fans begin to cheer as he turns to the cage. He looks at it for several seconds before he starts the climb! Anderson is halfway up standing on the ropes when Ronnie begins to stir. Arn continues the climb, but as he reaches the top Garvin is back up and angrily begins shaking the cage. Arn looks a bit wobbly but hangs in there. "The Rugged One" starts to climb up after him. Arn meanwhile has gotten his leg over the cage and is now straddling it. He goes to pull his other leg over, but Garvin's got his boot. And he can't shake him! Ron uses "The Enforcer's" leg like a rope to clamber his way up and begins hitting the Champ! Arn looks a bit nervous as he fights back and it gives Ron just the edge he needs to get the better of him. He hooks Anderson's head and looks to be setting him up for a superplex off the cage! Arn begins firing back but he's unable to break Garvin's grip. Finally in desperation he grabs Garvin's face in a claw to free himself and heabutts "The Rugged One!" Garvin looks dazed as Anderson headbutts him again and grabbing him by the shoulders throws Ron back off the cage to the canvas below. Arn is breathing hard and doesn't look too happy about being so high up as he swings his other boot over the cage and starts the climb down. Inside the ring Ronnie finally begins climbing back up to his feet while on the outside AA has hopped down to the floor! Anderson has beaten the cage! AA has defeated Garvin! "The Enforcer" has retained the Title!
Lights Fade.

He says he has a very exciting show lined up for all the little "Rock 'N Rollers" out there! He has the new ECW Light Heavyweight title about his waist. He's about to go on to...When the Inter-Promotional Champion "The Long Island Loud-Mouth" Chris Jericho makes his way out from the back! He has his own Title propped over his shoulder and gives himself a huge introduction before thanking Buck for having him on the show. Zumhoff asks Chris what exactly he's doing here?
Jericho tells him how earlier this week he sacked that overrated footballer Lawrence Taylor, and before that he struck out that washed up has-been, never was Pete Rose. But today he's after a new game baby. Because he's out to prove he's the best, the very best at every form of entertainment. Even.... children's entertainment! That's right ol' Bucko. Today the one, the only "Long Island Loud-Mouth Chris Jericho is here to prove beyoung a shadow of a doubt that he is... the greatest kid's show host of ALL TIME!
And because Captain Kangaroo isn't available today... Chris Jericho is here to challenge one "Rock 'N Roll" Buck Zumhoff! Buck tells him he's got himself a match and the two men shake hands before Zumhoff heads to his broadcast booth where his co-host Captain Lou Albano is waiting for him. Albano says he's an idiot for the accepting the challenge cause "The Loud-Mouth" is gonna kill him here this morning. Buck says he's beaten Jericho before and he can do it again. Captain Lou laughs at Zumhoff's confidence and says that Jericho would've gotten himself more of a fight had he challenged Lambchop.Joel Gertner handles the intros.Junkyard Dog vs. Ace Steel Danny Davis starts the match and "Sexy" Ace Steel gives Junkyard Dog a good fight before the veteran drops Ace with a skull crushing headbutt, barks for the cheering kids; and then hits the Thump! scoop powerslam on Steel as he attempts to stumble up to his feet getting the three count.Back from the break we learn from "Barney the Dinosaur" that the letter Y stands for You; cause Barney loves You. Suddenly Chris Jericho swings in on a rope while giving a Tarzan-esque yell and kicks Barney down to the floor! Grinning triumphantly at the camera the Inter-Promotional Champion tells us the letter Y also stands for Yell which is something Chris Jericho likes to do and York as in New York; where "The Long Island Loud-Mouth" is from.Matt Hardy vs. Reckless Youth Matt Hardy and Reckles Youth have a fast paced match with good back and forth. Youth nearly gets the three count after hitting Northern Lights 2K1 cross-legged fisherman buster; but Matt just kicks out. Reckless keeps on top of him for a while, but Matt Hardy rallies back and ends up putting Reckless Youth down for the three count from Davis with the Twist of Fate cutter. After the break we hear "You're the Best Around" by Joe Esposito and see a highlight reel of "The Long Island Loud-Mouth" Chris Jericho's career here in ECW with wins over Ronnie Garvin, Rob Van Dam, Pete Rose; and Lawrence Taylor. It ends with Jericho proudly holding the Inter-Promotional Title over his head.Chris Jericho vs. Buck Zumhoff Buck Zumhoff gives as good as he gets in this one, getting a two count after a sunset flip and a nearfall when he hits Chris Jericho with the Rocking and Rolling springboard DDT. "The Loud-Mouth is no slouch and exchanges multiple dropkicks with the Lightweight Champ, gets a two count following a German Suplex; and starts getting a bit frustrated when "Rock 'N Roll" kicks out just before the three after getting nailed with the springboard moonsault. Buck Zumhoff rallies back and Bucks up toward the end of the match; but it isn't enough as Chris Jericho locks in the elevated Boston Crab and gets his opponent to tap out.
After the match Buck looks to shake hands with Jericho, but Chris laughs in his face and turns to leave. This angers Zumhoff who runs back into the ropes and connects with a dropkick that sends Jericho through the ropes and out to the floor! The kids begin cheering Zumhoff on as he begins rocking and rolling about the stage. Chris looks annoyed but lets Zumhoff have his little moment.
Buck Zumhoff then says that he knows these kids like Wrestling; but do they love Rock'N Roll as much as "The Rock 'N Roller" Buck Zumhoff himself? He then sends us to a music video he knows "The Long Island Loud-Mouth" Chris Jericho is sure to love, White Zombie's "Thunderkiss '65"!White Zombie - Thunder Kiss '65Finally Buck Zumhoff says that time is almost up for this week's show and that it's now time for Slammin' Saturdays Main Event feature; the Wrestling Rewind. He says that this week's Rewind is from back on August 3rd of last year where in the Main Event current the sinister "Soul Stealer Papa Shango fought Canada's Greatest Athlere "Iron Mike Sharpe!8/3/94 Main Event: Papa Shango vs. Mike Sharpe Mike Sharpe is fired up tonight and gives as good as he gets in this heated match against Papa Shango. "Canada's Greatest" Athlete looks to have won it when he makes the cover following his Running Forearm Smash; but Shango stuns the crowd when he kicks out just before the three. From then on out it's all Papa Shango as he theatrically tries to "raise the spirits" and defeats "Iron" Mike Sharpe after hitting his inverted shoulderbreak following a clothesline from Hell.
Papa Shango then gets on the microphone and warns that the Eastern Championship and the very wrestling world will be shaken to its core when he wins the Eastern Heavyweight Championhip. And that a reign of darkness will eclipse us all. Mwahahaha.

5/9/94 - West Palm Beach Civic Auditorium Miami, FL"Mean" Gene Okerlund and "The Genius" Lanny Poffo welcome us to th West Palm Beach Civic Auditorium in Miami, Florida for another action-packed edition of Eastern Championship Wrestling! They discuss this being ECW's first show in the Orange State or as Lanny likes to refer to it; "The Teeth State." Cause everyone he's met down here don't have any. Okerlund apologizes for Lanny before dicussing the events of ECW's fifth big event which took place last week at The Georgia Coliseum; Hardcore Heaven! They talk about Tommy Dreamer winning an ECW contract in the Hardcore Invitational battle royal and "Mad Dog" Luna Vachon's winning on the Women's Championship in a Submission match with the former Champ "Hot Stuff" Combs. They then briefly discuss how all the other Titles were retained before hyping tonight's show which will see the Tag-Team Champs The Lawlers take on a new team here in ECW; The Bayou Boys; in the Main Event!
Joel Gertner then makes with the intros for the first match of the night.Match: Tiffany vs. Beulah McGillicutty Referee Danny Davis starts the match. Tiffany and Beulah McGillicutty start putting on a fast-paced match with several high spots when ECW Women's Champion "Mad Dog" Luna Vachon appears on the ramp with the Title! She is with Doink who heads down toward the ring with her. Luna quickly takes both women by surprise with a huge double clothesline and while Luna begins beating on Tiffany; Doink the Clown picks Beulah up and hurls her out of the ring! He is laughing maniacally while Luna Vachon gets the microphone from Gertner. She tells us that last week she; Luna Vachon won the Women's Championship. Not either of these two skanky little Barbie dolls. But "Mad Dog's" little girl. Apparently that doesn't matter. Because these sluts are still clogging up valuable airtime while she continues to be ignored. Well she isn't going to take it anymore. She's got the Women's Title which proves she's the most dominating Woman in this sport today. And until ECW management and you sick deviants at home realize this fact; she's going to come out here and carve up all these pretty little pushovers we pretend are "wrestlers."
She then grabs Tiffany and pulls her up to her knees by her hair. Tiffany pleads with Luna to stop but she punches her in the face busting her open! She then hoists her up into the air and nails her with a sit-out powerbomb! Tiffany isn't moving and "Mean" Gene cannot believe the dispicable nature of what we just saw. Lanny meanwhile can't believe Luna just referred to herself as a "woman."Back from the break we see ECW's newest member Tommy Dreamer walking down the hall when he runs into Destruction Inc. who have Takako Inoue with them. Mongo Vyle addresses "Dreamer!" as Rhino grabs him and throws him into the wall where he pins him down. "The Machiavellan Mauler" tells Tommy that he saw his little match last week and he must have thought himself a real innovator of violence when he was attacking people with a steel chair and putting them through tables. But he's in for a rude awakening if he thinks that's gonna make him a bigshot here. Because at ECW matches are won with your fists and your wits in the ring. Two things he knows a pencil necked geek like Dreamer lacks. Rhino then gives Tommy one final shove before the trio storm off.Dreamer stands back up when in comes "Mr. Wednesday Night" Rob Van Dam. Tommy immediately looks defensive but RVD calms him down and tells him not to let big bullies like those two bother him too much. You know the saying, the bigger they are and all that dude. Rob then tells Tommy he just wanted to come over and welcome him to Eastern Championship. He tells him that that match he had last week was real hardcore. Dreamer thanks him and they slap hands before Van Dam exits. We're then brought back to ringside where Okerlund puts Rob Van Dam over as a class act before Gertner makes with the intros for the second match of the night. Van Halen's "Poundcake" hits as Van Dam comes from the back and points to his shoulders as the crowd chants "Rob!... Van!... Dam!"Match: Rob Van Dam vs. B. Brian Blair Rob Van Dam and B. Brian Blair have met before here in ECW and know one another's moves fairly well. They put on a fast paced, high flying bout with several pin attempts that has S.D. Jones making the three count after "Mr. Wednesday Night" connects with the 5-Star Frog Splash. After the break ECW correspondent Terri Runnels is with Lord William Regal. He says he's seen some ruffians and sadists in his time. He did grow up in Blackpool after all. But one thing he could never, ever abide was a man or in this case a clown; putting his hands on a lady. Which is why after his actions earlier tonight Regal asked Mr. Bischoff specifically to put him in the ring with the silly little goof.Match: Doink the Clown vs. William Regal Doink the Clown isn't nearly as much as a pushover as William Regal made him out to be and gives him a hard fought match which he nearly wins after hitting Regal with the running powebomb onto the top turnbuckle! Lanny says he sees shades of "Maniac" Matt Borne in Doink. Lord William proves how tough he is once again by kicking out before the three and makes the comback physically dissecting Doink with several submission holds and suplex variations. The Clown refuses to stay down and on the rebound from an Irish whip catches Regal with an inverted atomic drop! While Luna distracts referee S.D. Jones while Doink the Clown removes his show setting up "The Heel Turn" on William who's dropped to his knees. Doink swings, but William Regal ducks under and grabbing Doink hits a Dragon Suplex! He bridges it and scores the win!
On the outside Luna Vachon is pissed and storms the ring! Lord Regal holds his hands up in the air looking to avoid a fight and dropping down exits the ring while "Mad Dog" continues to his at him from inside the ring while she consoles her man.Okerlund and Poffo welcome us back from the break before reminding us that next week ECW will be coming to us live from the Amway Arena in Tampa, Florida. He says that while tickets for the show are sold out; those folks at home should be sure to join us right here as usual on Eastern Championship's home station of TNN The Nashville Network. The Kaientai Theme then hits and out walks Mr. Fuji with "The Japanese Buzzsaw" Yoshihiro Tajiri and... Masato Tanaka?! Joining Lanny and Gene at the broadcast booth with Tajiri by his side; Mr. Fuji is welcomed by the broadcast team. Fuji thanks them before hyping his newest charge, who is very good Japanese wrestler and very strong. Very tough. Fuji tells them how back in Japan his new charge was involved in brutal barb wire matches where he'd tear the flesh from his opponents without mercy. He says that for Masato Tanaka taking the Tag Titles from stupid fat American Lawlers will be a cake walk.Match: Jeff Hardy vs. Masato Tanaka The smaller Jeff Hardy does okay early on while he manages to keep away from Masato Tanaka and uses a hit and run tactic. Unfortunately for Jeff when he goes for a running crossbody Masato catches him in mid-air and beats him to a pulp until he hits the Complete Dust inverted sitout side powerlam which earns him the three count from S.D. Jones. After the match we're brought backstage where ECW Champion "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson is standing by with the Title over his shoulder talking to ECW correspondent Terri Runnels. Terri congratulates Arn on his victory at Hardcore Heaven before asking him about his feelings on the Match. Arn Anderson says he gives alot of credit to his opponent "Rugged" Ronnie Garvin for bringing one hell of a fight last week. He says that a Champion isn't just judged on how he won the belt and how long he keeps it; but also on the quality of his competition and that here at ECW "The Enforcer" has had to lock up with some of the best in the world and Ronnie Garvin certainly fits that bill. As for the match itself, Anderson isn't going to lie because everyone already knows the score. He was a bit leery stepping into a Steel Cage again. He nearly lost his career, hell his life in the last one he got into with "Macho Man" Randy Savage. So psychologically it was a hurdle he had to overcome not only getting in there; but proving to himself he could not only beat Garvin, but the Steel Cage itself. And he's proud to say in the end AA overcame that hurdle. But now putting that struggle in the past he's looking toward the future and whatever new challengers await him here at Eastern Championship.Match: Mongo Vyle vs. Mike Sharpe Mongo Vyle has Takako Inoue with him in this match officiated by Danny Davis. "Iron" Mike Sharpe is a tough as they come and gives "The Machiavellan Mauler" one hell of a fight with neither man getting the better of the other until Sharpe goes for the running forearm smash and Mongo ducks under it. From there it's all Vyle until he hits the Mongo Masher sitout full nelson atomic drop for the three. After the match we're brought to a segment with "The Long Island Loud-Mouth" Chris Jericho; I.P.C. who's placefully tossing a football in his hands. That's right. Still the Inter-Promotional Champion! Last week at Hardcore Heaven "The Loud-Mouth" did what many said he couldn't do. He came. He saw. He conquered former New York Giants linebacker Lawrence Taylor! Proving once again that wrestlers are the very best athletes in the world. So now you're asking yourself; but Chris? What's next? We know Jericho knows wrestling. We know Jericho knows baseball. We now know Jericho knows football. What's the Inter-Promotional Champ have left to prove? He'll tell you what. Everything! Michael Jordan? Ernie Els? Neal Broten? Pete Sampras? Oksana Baiul? Tom Hanks? George Foreman or Riddick Bowe? Doesn't matter which. Conrad Dupreez? Don't think you're safe! Because "The Long Island Loud-Mouth" Chris Jericho is taking the Inter-Promotional Title on the road and he will prove he's the best around! Back from the break ECW Correspondent Terri Runnels is standing by with "Macho Man" Randy Savage, Debbie Combs; and Steve Corino! She asks them about how they feel about their win last week at Hardcore Heaven over Destruction Inc.. Savage says how do you think they feel? Exquisite. Barring Debbie's little mishap of course; Hardcore Heaven was a big win for Team Savage yeah. The "Macho Man" has been waiting months, an excrutiating eternity to get his hands on "The Man-Beast" and that big blowhard "The Machiavellan Mauler. Dig it. And once he got them where he wanted them. Inside that squared circle. Savage did what Savage always does. He puts them in a world of hurt. He took them to the very limit of human endurance. And then he put them away for the 1-2-3 yeah. Oooooh yeah! Dig it!Match: Dick Murdoch vs. Sexton Hardcastle From the moment S.D. Jones starts the match "Captain Redneck" Dick Murdoch teaches the young Sexton Hardcastle what an ass-kicking is all about and stomps a mudhole in him before laying him out with a Calf Branding off the top. 1!... 2!... Scott Taylor is in the ring!Taylor comes in on fire and leaping onto Dick Murdoch breaks the cover. He begins hammering on the surprised Murdoch who staggers to his feet only to walk into several more blows before Scott Taylor lays him out cold with a superkick! Taylor celebrates in the ring and gives Dick another kick while he's down for good measure. Murdoch picks up the win by DQ."Mean" Gene and Lanny Poffo welcome us back from the last commercial break of the evening. They then talk about The Lawlers and how they've held the Eastern Tag-Team Titles since January 25th of this year. They talk about their time as the Champs, focusing on their win DQ win against Butch Reed and Brickhouse Brown last week at Hardcore Heaven. Okerlund says that poor KAMA was beaten so bad by Brown and Reed following the match that we have no idea when he might return, if ever. Lanny sighs too about poor KAMA who just couldn't Kick Any Man's Ass. And he means any. They then discuss The Bayou Boys who are a recent addition to the roster debuting here tonight. Gene then tells us that to learn more about this exciting new team be sure to check out the next episode of ECW Slammin' Saturdays! "The Genius" reminds us that while the team may be debuting tonight; the insufferable "Redneck Rebel" Doug Gilbert has already been on the roster for far too long. Banjo music then begins playing as Gilbert and Cousin Jamie appear on the ramp.
Gertner: The following non-Title contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first from Gator country weighing a combined 442 lbs. they are "The Redneck Rebel" Doug Gilbert and his Cousin Jamie; The Bayou Boys!
The Boys get a good welcome from the crowd as they throw a hoedown in the middle of the ring. Referee Danny Davis looks relieved to hear The Bill Conti Overture.
Gertner: And introducing the challengers from Memphis, Tennessee weighing in at a collective 456 lbs.; they are the Eastern Tag-Team Champions Brian and Jerry "The King" Lawler!Tag-Team Match: The Bayou Boys vs. The Lawlers Doug Gilbert starts things off with Brian Lawler and the two men get a good back and forth going, trading momentum often until "The Redneck Rebel" whips Brian hard into the corner. He then tags in Cousin Jamie whom he whips twice as hard into Lawler in a move they call the Dosy Doe, Brian hits the ground hard and Jamie locks in the Dragon Sleeper. Brian begins to fade but rallies back and laying into Jamie whips him across the ring; sending him down to the canvas with a huge dropkick. He then tags in his father Jerry "The King" Lawler who proceeds to hand Cousin Jamie a beating. Jamie gets in some offense, but once Jerry lowers his singlet strap it is all over for The Bayou Boys and "The King" hits the Piledriver to score the win while Brian Lawler stops Doug Gilbert from making the save by meeting him halfway inside the ring and hitting him with a swinging neckbreaker.
Lights Fade.

The Captain gets Zumhoff's attention with a "Hey idiot." When Buck asks what Albano says that he promised two big announcements here today. And that tape sounded well and good, even if it didn't have any Captain Lou on it; but where's the other one? Buck says he didn't forget. He just wanted to sit down before telling them to roll the tape. All figures made by double_j_collectibles on Ebay except for Savage which was made by my wife. We then see a toy commercial announcing the ALL-NEW ECW mini-figures! Perfectly compatible with those toys from that other company. Buck Zumhoff comes out to the ring in with his Title and a Buckamania T-shirt! Which he promptly and dramatically tears off. Lawler is one hell of a competitor and gives Buck a tough match hitting the Tennessee Jam guillotine legdrop before making the cover! 1!... 2!... Zumhoff kicks out! With his Buckamaniacs cheering him on Buck rallies back and fights back and forth with Brian for a while before hitting the "Rocking and Rolling" springboard DDT which nets him the three count from referee Danny Davis. After the break we learn that the letter Z stands for Zumhoff! As in "Rock 'N Roll" Buck Zumhoff of course. It also stands for... Zombies? Buck laughs when a moaning noise is heard and several wrestlers done up as zombies attack Buck; who makes a quick escape.Afterwards Captain Lou Albano tells Buck Zumhoff that considering Eric Bischoff's talents he isn't surprised to see zombies in ECW. He did bring Buck's career back from the dead after all. "Rock 'N Roll" tells him to look who's talking.Luna Vachon vs. Tiffany "Pour Some Sugar on Me" by Def Leppard hits as Tiffany heads down to the ring after giving a dance that might be a little to racy for Saturday morning up on the ramp. We're told Tiffany is looking for some revenge on Women's Champ "Mad Dog" Luna Vachon here tonight. Luna comes down accompanied by Doink the Clown and gets a surprise from Tiffany who raises across the ring and nails both of them with a suicide dive on the outside! Tiffany is on fire in the early going and gets a two count after hitting the Iconoclasm off the top. Doink the Clown however trips Tiffany up halfway through the match which allows for Luna to catch a breather. "Mad Dog" cheats a bit with a back rake and a bit of hairpulling to gain control of the match, getting several warnings from Danny Davis before Luna Vachon puts Tiffany down for the count with the Lunasault. We're then taken to a pre-recorded segment in the backwoods where there's a campsite set up with some hillbilly types sitting around the fire cooking baked beans, hot dogs, raccoon and such. And among them is... Hillbilly Jim?! Jim welcomes home his little nephew, "The Redneck Rebel" Doug Gilbert! He brings them to meet the rest of their clan who include the entire Moondog gang, Spot, Cujo, Spike; and even Rex & King; both of whom he refers to as his grandpappies. They all chewing on some sort of animal remains. He tells them how this is little Doug who's been making out good in that there ECW promotion, just like his cousins are over in the WWF. Moondog Rex says he'll drink to that and hands out some moonshine to everyone. When Gilbert goes to drink his, he finds someone's dentures! Rex laughs and apologizes, saying he gave 'im the wrong glass. Doug looks disgusted. To change the subject Hillbilly Jim reminds Doug why he's there. There's a new member of their kin who's ready to take the wrestling world by storm. He says that the boy's so strong, he spends most his time wrestling gators. Jim thinks he's gonna make the perfect tag-team partner for Gilbert. He then leads him around the the back of the trailer where we're introduced to Doug's Cousin Jamie who's busy manhandling a crocodile!... A stuffed one anyway. He's got the "beast" in a headlock and is ripping the stuffing out of it's head with his teeth. Doug Gilbert looks at him in disbelief while Hillbilly Jim says that that's our boy right there. Crazier than a pet 'coon that one.The Bayou Boys vs. Sexton Hardcastle & Joe E. Legend Doug Gilbert starts things off with Joe E. Legend in this match officiated by Danny Davis. "The Redneck Rebel" doesn't have an easy time with Joe who is a good deal stronger than him, but he uses his speed to his advantage and keeps the big man on his toes, getting a two count following a swining neckbreaker. Legend rallies back however and dominates for a bit before hitting Doug with the Legend Driver and makes the cover. 1!... 2!... Cousin Jamie who's climbed up top makes the save as he leaps off and hits a diving guillotine legdrop! He begins hammering a stunned Joe E. across the ring, but Legend fends himself off with a forearm smash and makes the tag to Sexton Hardcastle who runs in and spears Jamie! He makes the cover, but Doug Gilbert who's back up is the legal man and he stomps on Hardcastle whom he calls an idiot. He then whips Sexton into the corner and then taking his Cousin Jamie by the hand the duo have a hoedown dancing about the middle of the ring before Gilbert Irish whips Jamie straight into Hardcastle! A move the Bayou Boys refer to as the Dosey Doe. Hopping out of the ring Jamie claps his cousin on as Doug Gilbert begins hammering on Hardcastle before tagging out. Climbing into the ring Cousin Jamie grabs Sexton in a front headlock before climbing up the corner and hitting a Tornado DDT! He makes the cover. 1!... 2!... Hardcastle kicks out! Jamie continues beating on his opponent for a while before Sexton fires back and scooping Jamie up lays him out with the electric chair drop! He makes the cover, but barely gets a two before Jamie kicks out. He attempts to keep his opponent down, but Cousin Jamie fights his way up from one knee and the two men battle back and forth until Jamie catches Hardcastle in the Trailer Hitch modifed figure four leglock! Sexton screams in pain but fights it, he claws his way toward the ropes when Doug Gilbert pulls it away from him! This angers Joe E. Legend who takes off after "The Redneck Rebel." Doug runs for cover, but waiting for him on the steel steps; Gilbert goes airborne and takes Joe down with a dropkick! He quickly climbs the apron while Cousin Jamie keeps Hardcastle down with a rear chinlock. Doug wants the tag and gets it! Together the Bayou Boys set Hardcastle up for a double Hot Shot flapjack into a hangman! And they hit it! Jamie quickly heads to their corner while Davis starts the count. 1!... 2!... 3! The Bayou Boys have won it!
Buck Zumhoff then says that he knows these kids like Wrestling; but do they love Rock'N Roll as much as "The Rock 'N Roller" Buck Zumhoff himself? He then sends us to a music video he knows those Bayou Boys are sure to love, "Cotton-Eyed Joe" by the band Rednex.Cotton eyed joe RED NEXCOMMERCIAL BREAK # 3Finally Buck Zumhoff says that time is almost up for this week's show and that it's now time for Slammin' Saturdays Main Event feature; the Wrestling Rewind. He says that this week's Rewind is from back on August 10th of last year where the "Macho Man" Randy Savage faced off against "The Ravishing One" Rick Rude!8/10/95 Main Event: Randy Savage vs. Rick Rude Randy Savage and Rick Rude waste no time in locking up. Rude draws first blood as he takes down Randy with a snapmare and delivers a standing dropkick to the back of the Champ's head. Randy grabs his head and rolls out of the ring where Debbie Combs checks on him. He then climbs back onto the apron only to be charged by Rick who catches a shoulder to the gut as Randy shoulderblocks him before using the ropes to flip back into the ring. Grabbing Rude by his head he runs "The Ravishing One" into the turnbuckle before running him into the middle of the ring and nailing a bulldog. Rolling Rude over he goes for the pin and doesn't even get a two count. Keeping on top of Rick he begins hammering his head and back as Rude fights his way to his feet; shoving Randy off him. As Rude regains his footing the two men go at it punch for punch in the center of the ring before Rick Irish whips "Macho Man across the ring and leaping over him on the rebound rolls him up into a Sunset flip for a two count. Kicking out Randy rolls across the ring to get some distance and takes a beating from Rude as he uses the ropes to get back to his feet. At this point Long breaks the two men up and Savage comes in with a cheap uppercut on Rude that sends him staggering back and down on the floor where Randy puts the boots to his challenger. When he goes to lift Rick up to his feet however; Savage is caught unawares in a small package which he only narrowly escapes from. Both men are soon on their knees slugging away at one another and then back on their feet where they continue to hammer one another. "Macho Man" is clearly the victor however as he drives Rude back into the ropes and into the corner where he lifts Rick up to set him up for a superplex. When Randy climbs up onto the bottom rope however; he is surprised once again when Rick grabs him by the head and nails him with a tornado DDT. Dragging the Champ into the middle of the ring Rude goes for the cover and gets a two count. Pounding on Savage as he picks him up to his feet; Rude lifts the dazed Champ up for a powerbomb; only to have it countered with a facebuster! Rude hits the mat hard as Randy hooks the leg. 1...2... Rude kicks out! 3!! Sitting up Randy pulls at his hair rants a bit before getting up to his feet and lifting up the limp body of Rude whom he whips across the ring and nails with a gutwrench suplex. Savage looks winded as he drops to his knees to make the pin. But instead of making the cover his eyes go wide! Standing up on the apron is "The Soul Stealer" Papa Shango!! Teddy Long rushes to the ropes and argues with the voodoo shaman who begrudgingly hops down. But before he does there's a disturbance on the other side of the ring. And when Randy Savage turns to look his eyes bug out of his head!! It's Papa Shango?!! And he has the Heavyweight Title!!! He's inside the ring and charges Randy as the Champ quickly gets back to his feet; only to be busted open with the belt!!!! Savage goes down hard as Rick Rude staggers to his feet. Both him and Papa Shango stare one another down for several moments before Shango drops and rolls from the ring. Still inside Rick Rude looks down and the prone body of "The Macho Man" for several seconds before Teddy Long returns to officiate. He looks a bit hesitant; but makes the cover. 1...2..... Savage kicks out! Rude can't believe it. He looks amazed as he grabs for the bloodied Champ and lifts him to his feet and after getting a good grip on Randy Savage he hits The Rude Awakening!! This time Savage in down for the count as Long hits the 3 count. Rude has won it!!!
Lights Fade.

5/16/95 - Amway Arena Orlando, FL"Mean" Gene Okerlund and "The Genius" Lanny Poffo welcome us to beautiful Orland, Florida for another exciting edition of Eastern Championship Wrestling; tonight live at the Amway Arena! Poffo says that Florida is only beautiful if you like seeing a Wal-Mart on every corner. They then briefly talk about last week's show including William Regal's issues with Doink the Clown, Destruction Inc. "welcoming" Tommy Dreamer to the roster, Scott Taylor's attack on "Captain Redneck" Dick Murdoch; and the main event which saw the Tag-Team Champs The Lawlers defeat a new tag-team here at ECW; The Bayou Boys. They then run down tonight's card which will see a huge Tag-Team Maine Event when the team of "Macho Man" Randy Savage and Steve Corino take on the Tag-Team Champs The Lawlers in non-Title action! Also on the card some inter-gender tag action when William Regal and Beulah McGillicutty face the evil tandem of Doink the Clown and Women's Champ "Mad Dog" Luna Vachon! And in a match just signed this evening Tommy Dreamer has requested to step in the ring with "The Machiavellian Mauler" Mongo Vyle here tonight. Which to Poffo just proves Dreamer is an idiot who should've stayed over in ACW.
Joel Gertner then introduces the participants in the first match of the night.Match: Jeff Hardy vs. Reckless Youth Jeff Hardy and Reckless Youth put on a fast paced bout filled with high spots in this match officiated by S.D. Jones. Youth proves himself reckless when he attempts a Frog Splash off the top after laying Jeff out with a bulldog. Jeff Hardy rolls out of the way and getting to his feet, lifts Reckless Youth up to his before laying him out flat with a DDT. He makes the cover and picks up the win. After the match we're taken backstage where ECW correspondent Terri Runnels is talking to Butch Reed and Brickhouse Brown in front of the ECW banner. She asks them about their feelings about their loss at Hardcore Heaven two weeks ago. Brown cuts her off and tells her that they didn't lose. They had their match stolen from them by the man. "KAMA?" Runnels asks. Brickhouse tells her that KAMA... don't even exist anymore. "Hacksaw" then takes over and corrects here; saying that the man they're referring to still works for this company. He didn't hightail it out of here like that other jive ass turkey. He says that the man he's referring to is "untouchable" cause he's hiding behind a referee jersey. And that man is Danny Davis. Suddenly Slick appears on the scene!Slick tells us not to adjust your televisions. Your eyes are not deceiving you. The Slickster has indeed finally arrived in Eastern Championship Wrestling. He says that ECW is a company rife with injustices to men of color and Davis' decision to disqualify his men "Hacksaw" Butch Reed" and "The Man of the Hour" Brickhouse Brown was just the latest travesty perpetrated. In fact Slick himself once was employed here. Not that you'd no it. He was quietly released under the table, denying the folks at home the priviledge of seeing "The Doctor of Style" in action; not giving him one tv appearance! But enough about that honky Eric Bischoff. He'll have his day. Today Slick is here to bring to light the grave injustice of his brothers Butch and Brown. Men who were unfairly penalized based solely on the actions of that uncle Tom KAMA. A man his clients have nothing in common with. Nothing other than the color of their skin. Therefore his men are owed, entitled; to a rematch! After the break Ivory cuts a promo telling us how she left WCW to wrestle here at ECW it was for two reasons. One is competition. She says that while in most promotions Women's wrestling is an afterthought; here at Eastern Championship the female competitors are taken just as seriously as their male counterparts. And they should. Because ECW has some of the best female talent in the world today. However that doesn't mean there isn't room for improvement. Since the dawn of the division there's been a fluke Champion in McGillicutty, Combs outright stole the Title; and now that... beast that calls itself "Mad Dog" Luna Vachon holds the belt. Well that's the second reason Ivory is here. She's here to clean this place up.Match: Rockin' Robin vs. Ivory While Rockin' Robin does her best and does get some offense in; Ivory mostly dominates her; hitting her with several hard hitting moves before taking her down for the three count from referee Danny Davis with a Somoan Driver.Back from break we we're taken to the backwoods of Gator Country where The Bayou Boys are sitting in front of their rundown trailer in front of a fire. "The Redneck Rebel" Doug Gilbert is cooking something in a can before telling Cousin Jamie to go find them their main ingredient. He then tells us Jamie isn't allowed to do the cooking ever since that incident where he stuffed the chicken with... well; never you mind that. He then tells us how The Bayou Boys are as tough as they come because they had to learn how to survive with next to nothing and never had a damned thing handed to them. That he and Cousin Jamie have been fending for themselves ever since they were little fellers. That they're used to being the underdogs, but that's okay. Because it just means they had to get tougher and fight harder. And take what they want. All the ingredients they need to succeed here in ECW. Just like this bean cumbo he's cookin' right now. All it requires is beans, some andouille, some seasonings; and... well here comes Jamie with the secret ingredient right now! Cousin Jamie hoists up a dead raccoon. And says he found the road kill!
The Bayou Boys are having another hoedown inside the ring when we come back to ringside and have the fans clapping along. Okerlund says that these two guys turn his stomach while Lanny says they may as well get their laughs in now. Because The Bayou Boys certainly won't be laughing after this match. "Mean" Gene then says that he's surprised these newcomers aren't allies of Von Raschke's crew and Lanny says that while he was begrudgingly listening to Aryan von Raschke earlier he said that them and The Bayou Boys are two completely different classes of white people. With the Boys being just a step above... well you get the idea. "Ich tu der weh" by Rammstein then assaults the arena as The Blitzrkieg emerges from the back with the Eastern States Title still over his shoulder. Aryan and The Baron Von Raschke are in tow.Match: Doug Gilbert vs. The Blitzkrieg S.D. Jones is the sorry official in this one and has a hard time keeping Cousin Jamie who is out with Doug Gilbert and Von Raschke & Aryan out of the ring early on. Once the match gets underway The Blitzkrieg dismantles Gilbert whom he ends up clotheslining over the top rope! Just then Cousin Jamie slides in and tries to pass himself off as Doug; but he isn't fooling anyone. "Mangler's Monster" doesn't care however and hands Jamie an ass-whooping too before hurling him from the ring. "The Redneck Rebel" meanwhile looks to escape up the ramp; but Aryan grabs him by the scruff of his neck and runs him back into the ring where he falls victim to a chokeslam from The Blitzkrieg who steps on Doug Gilbert for the nonchalant pin.
After the match Von Rachke gets the mic from Joel Gertner. He says that he doesn't understand everyone's surprise about what they wtinessed at Hardcore Heaven. He says that since he brought The Blitzkrieg into ECW he has dominated everything and everyone that has laid in his path. That whether it's a ladder match or a steel cage; to "Mangler's Monster" destroying the likes of "Ravishing" Rick Rude and the beloved "Mr. Wednesday Night" Rob... Van... Dam (he mimics RVD here) is mere child's play. That since his creation in The Republic of Germany he has been raised to do one thing. Maim. Annihilate. Destroy. And with the Eastern States Championship proudly draped upon his shoulder that's what he will continue to do. Make Germany proud.Okerlund and Poffo remind us that next week Eastern Championship will be coming to us live from the Municpal Auditorium in Atlanta, Georgia. He says that while tickets for the show are sold out; the folks at home can catch the action right here live on ECW's home station of TNN The Nashville Network! They then talk about last week's show and how William Regal took offense to Doink the Clown's handling of Beulah McGillicutty. Okerlund agrees with Regal saying there's never a reason for a man to put his hands on a woman. Lord William proved he was a man of integrity later that night when Luna attacked him following his defeat of Doink. Poffo says he would've had no problem with Regal hitting Luna. But he does have one with her being called a woman. Gene rolls his eyes before informing us that it was Luna who requested this match here tonight.Inter-Gender Match: William Regal & Beulah McGillcutty vs. Doink the Clown & Luna Vachon After she finished posing with the Women's Championship; "Mad Dog" Luna Vachon starts things off against Beulah McGillucutty. The former Women's Champ is on fire early on and takes Luna Vachon by surprise. She gives Vachon an ugly beating before Luna rakes Beulah's eyes and hits her with a springboard bulldog. From there she hits McGillicutty with several power moves, occasionally attempting to pin her. Finally she hits McGillicutty with a body slam; but in desperation Beulah bounces up to her feet and leaping makes the hot tag to Lord William Regal! Inside the ring Regal politely waves Luna out of the ring; but the Women's Champ begins screaming at him and approaching him menacingly. She gives Danny Davis a fight; but eventually gives in and tags Doink the Clown in. Doink charges in and gets his head taken off by a clothesline! Regal hits him with another and keeps on the Clown; but Doink begins gaining momentum and starts fighting back! He ends up trapping Regal in a single-leg sharpshooter! Regal pulls himself across the ring toward the ropes! He looks like he isn't going to make it when Beulah McGillicutty reaches in and pulls him the last couple inches to safety! This annoys Luna Vachon who takes off after Beulah whom she begins chasing about the ring! Lord William meanwhile and pulled himself up to his feet and the Clown charges him! Regal counters with a back body drop that sends Doink out to the floor! The Clown hits the ground hard as William climbs out onto the apron and jumps off landing a diving knee drop. He then begins pulling Doink up to his feet when he is hit from behind. With a steel chair! He spins and hits the ground seeing his assailant on the way down. It was Luna Vachon! Davis calls for the bell. Luna then drags Regal into position and proceeds to catapult him face first into the steel ring post! Lord William hits the ground like a sack of bricks while Doink the Clown who is back up on his feet laughs maniacally. Luna makes the cut throat move as she the duo heads up to ramp. Meanwhile Beulah McGillicutty and Danny Davis check on William Regal who is sitting up looking a little dazed; but otherwise alright. He and Beulah pick up the win by DQ. After the break we're brought backstage to the ECW banner where correspondent Terri Runnels is having a word with "Captain Redneck" Dick Murdoch about his feelings regarding Scott Taylor's attack on him last week. His feeling?! Dick Murdoch will tell you about his feelings regarding Scott Taylor. "The Superstar" is a damned fraud. He makes himself out to be this great guy. Stand-up. Tows the line like his "mentor" Arn Anderson. But really? Really Taylor is just an opportunist. Willing to do whatever it takes to get whatever he wants. Last week he attacks "Captain Redneck" after a hardfought match? Kicked him while he was down? He's no better than ol' Dick Murdoch. Which is A-okay by him. Cause when they meet in that there squared circle next week? The kid gloves are off! We're then taken to a prerecorded sgement where "The Long Island Loud-Mouth" Chris Jericho is proudly displaying his Inter-Promotional Championship! He tells us that he knows that deep down fear lurks in the hearts of men. Not Chris Jericho of course; but other men. Therefore he doesn't expect people to come running to him looking to take his Title. Cause they know what "The Loud-Mouth" already knows! It ain't gonna happen!
So why is he outside the 7 Mile House Sports Bar in San Francisco, California on a Monday night you ask? Well he's gonna tell you! He got word from an anonymous source that inside his fine establishment is WCW superstar, the artist formerly known as Razor Ramon; Scott Hall! Well he's as good a candidate as any to be the first ever challenger for the Inter-Promotional Title Tour! Cause as that other guy in that promotion always like to say; "To be the man; you gotta beat Da Man." Right chico? He then beckons the camera crew to follow him up to the door.
Just then however the door bursts open and some bouncers toss "Scott Hall" out onto the street where he lies facedown in the dirt! Jericho asks him what the hell is this? Doesn't Hall know he has to be at the Cows Palace tonight?! He kicks Hall and tells him to get up. Get up! He begins screaming at the unconscious man who begins snoring loudly. Jericho sighs "Well then." before stepping with one foot on him and counting out loud 1!...2!..3! Jericho has won it! He does a bit of a victory jig over the "defeated" the Bad Guy.
We then cut to later the same night where Jericho is hanging out at the bar with the locals whooping it up when he learns that Steven Petrosino is there. Who the hell is Steven Petrisino?! The Guiness world record holder for speed drinking; having drank 1 liter in 1.3 seconds that's who! "The Loud-Mouth instantly demands the Inter-Promotional Title be put on the line. He could outdrink this Petrisino! We then witness Steven as he gulps a liter down in 1.3 seconds! Jericho then takes his picther and holds it to his lips... and then it's gone?! Chris Jericho has defeated Steven Petrisino in 1 second! "The Long Islan Loud-Mouth" jumps around bragging how he can outdrink the Guiness Champ AND that loser Scott Hall!Match: Devon Hughes vs. Christian It's young Christian's first match here in ECW and though he does get some offense in; Devon Hughes hands him a beating, hitting the 360 degree corkscrew back elbow smash before later going on to pin him using the diving headbutt off the top while S.D. Jones delivers the count. After the break The Hughes Brothers are in front of the ECW banner with Terri Runnels. Devon Hughes tells Terri that he thinks Brickhouse Brown and Butch Reed are a pair of cowards. He hasn't forgotten it was them who put KAMA up to attacking his brother Spike. Or having him try to take Devon himself out the following week. Why? All because he didn't want to buy into their racist dogma. Well "brothers" you're about to reap what you sew. Because you've gotten the attention of the Hughes Brothers. We hear you loud and clear. And there's nothing you can do to stop the wrath we will soon wrought on you cause... "We're on a mission from God" Spike finally breaks in. Devon smiles and claps him on the back before yelling "Testify!"Match: Mongo Vyle vs. Tommy Dreamer Tommy Dreamer had a good deal of fans from his run in ACW and seems to have brought them with him here to ECW receiving a nice pop. "The Machiavellan Mauler" on the otherhand brings both Rhino and Takako Inoue down to ringside with him which doesn't go over well with referee Danny Davis or the fans. Davis warns them to stay outside before starting the match. The two men charge straight into one another swinging, but Vyle comes out on top and hammers Tommy back across the ring. He whips him across the ring only to duck too soon and receive a kick to the face. Dreamer then runs the ropes and delivers a leg drop that faceplants Vyle. He looks to make the cover but doesn't even get a two. Keeping on Mongo he begins hammering him in the face as the big man rises to one knee. Mongo fights his way back up to his feet and whips Tommy across the ring hard into the corner. He then comes flying in and nails Dreamer with a huge bionic elbow. The two men continue fighting back and forth with both of them dishing out as good as they get. On the outside Takako Inoue distracts Davis to "The Mauler's" advantage often; finally getting Dreamer pissed enough to start yelling at her after she costs Dreamer the win when he nails Mongo with a DDT and Danny isn't around to see it because he is too busy arguing with her. Late in the match Inoue climbs up on the apron and when Davis goes to order her down; Rhino enters the ring! Mongo Vyle is already in control and the duo nail Tommy Dreamer with the Death Drop flapjack/cutter combo before "The Man-Beast" rolls out of the ring. Inoue hops down just in time for Danny to see Mongo make the cover and a three count later; Davis is holding Vyle's hand high in victory.COMMERCIAL BREAK"Mean" Gene and Lanny Poffo welcome us back from the last commercial break of the evening. They then begin to hype tonight's big Main Event; first talking about the current Tag-Team Champions The Lawlers who won the belts back on January 25th of this year and have successfully defended the belts since then; mos recently on May 2nd at ECW's big event; Hardcore Heaven. They discuss how the team could very well on their well to become the longest reigning Champs in the division; still needing to beat out the record held by The New Orient Express of 6 months and 25 days. They then discuss the relationship between "Macho Man" Randy Savage and Steve Corino; and how they evolved from Corino being simply Savage's "protogee" to being his Tag-Team partner at Hardcore Heaven. Randy has since developed a desire to win the Tag-Team Titles here at Eastern Championship. Something of an oddity in the career of "The Macho Man;" whom if Gene is reading these records right Savage hasn't done since a stint in Gulf Coast Championship Wrestling back in 1976; where he won them alongside... Lanny Poffo?! Okerlund shoots Lanny an incredulous look. Poffo tells him don't be stupid. That obviously the person in the records department here isn't a "Genius" and dotted their Ts and crossed their Is. Cause there's no way Lanny would ever have anything to do with the "Macho Nincompoop." Pomp and Circumstance then hits as Savage and Corino emerge from the back with Debbie Combs in tow.
Gertner: The following non-Title contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first weighing in at a combined 490 lbs. and accompanied to the ring by "Hot Stuff" Debbie Combs; they are Steve Corino and "Macho Man" Randy Savage! Savage has Corino wait on the outside of the ring while he poses inside for the fans.
The Bill Conti Overture then plays as Brian and Jerry appear on the ramp with the Eastern Tag-Team Titles.
Gertner: And introducing at this time from Memphis, Tennessee weighing a combined 456 lbs.; they are the Eastern Tag-team Champions Brian and Jerry "The King" Lawler!Tag-Team Match: Savage & Corino vs. The Lawlers After handing their Titles over to referee S.D. Jones; Jerry Lawler starts things off with Randy Savage. The two men lock up and after a quick contest of strength which "Mach Man" wins; he circles about "The King" and nails him with a gutwrench suplex! Jerry immediately staggers back up to his feet as Randy explodes on him with a barrage of punches that sends Lawler back into the ropes where Savage attempts a whip. Jerry blocks it however and kicks Randy in the gut before drilling an elbow into his back. Jumping up he hits Randy with a facebuster over one knee before proceeding to chop his ass across the ring. Randy nearly loses his footing; but ends up dropping to one knee instead and lets "The king" have it with an uppercut. Back in control he leaps up and grabbing Jerry's head runs him across the ring and hammers him once, then twice into the turnbuckle before spinning him about and laying into him! Jerry drops down and Savage puts the boots to him! Corino wants the tag; but Randy ignores him and instead lifts Jerry up and whips him into the diagonal corner and comes running in with the high knee! Jerry drops and "Macho" keeps on top of him; but when he goes to lift him this time he is met with a deep armdrag! Randy hits the mat hard and Lawler is back up on his feet. He hits Randy with an elbow drop before dragging him to his feet and applying an armwrench. Savage screams in pain as Jerry constantly elbows the prone arm before pulling him down hard to the ground! Once on the floor Randy gets a mudhole stomped into his head as he crawls to the ropes where he drags himself back up only to receives a chop to the mush courtesy of "The King!" He then grabs Randy in a front headlock before tagging in Brian Lawler! Together the Lawlers hit Savage with a double suplex and Brian makes the cover. 1!...2!.. Savage kicks out! Brian kicks him before hitting an elbow drop; but when he lifts Randy to his feet, Savage slaps him away and nails him with a hard right! As Brian falls back into the ropes; Randy shakes himself and heads to his corner. But Brian Lawler isn't having it and charging "Macho" hits him with a one-handed bulldog! Randy hits the mat hard as Brian Lawler climbs the turnbuckle and signals for the Tennessee Jam! Steve Corino however makes the save as he runs the apron and pushes Brian crotching him in the corner! He reaches for the tag but Savage doesn't make it; instead he goes up top and nails Brian Lawler with a huge Superplex! It looks to have taken the wind out of both men and getting to his feet Randy tags in Steve Corino! He charges in just in time to catch Brian who is up on one knee with the sliding lariat! He makes the cover! 1!...2!.. Brian kicks out! Back up on his feet Steve puts the boots to Brian before lifting him up to his feet and hammering his back and head. He then sets up and nails the DDT! Making the cover he gets a close three but Jerry Lawler comes in off the top with the Flying Fist Drop to the back of Corino's skull! Back up Brian Lawler lifts Steve up to his feet and hammers on Corino before whipping him into the ropes and nailing him with a dropkick! He then tags in his father. Jerry Lawler immediately begins working over Corino before capturing him in the corner where he climbs up onto the second rope and lowers the singlet strap! He rains down 10 punches as the fans count along before hopping down and turning to the cheering crowd! Steve however isn't quite as out of it as Jerry thinks and hopping up onto the second rope he hits "The King" with a springboard Tornado DDT from behind! He makes the cover. 1!... 2!... Lawler kicks out. Keeping on top of Jerry, Steve pelts him in the face with punch after punch as Lawler fights his way up to one knee. He fires back and the two men begin trading punches before Corino grabs his opponent by the head and knees him in the face! Jerry falls back and Corino sizes him up. As Jerry Lawler gets back to his feet Steve Corino shoots off a superkick! But Jerry dodges and catches Corino's foot?! Off balance for only a second; Steve leaps up and nails "The King" with an enzuiguri kick with his free leg! Jerry hits the ground hard and Corino turns toward his corner. Randy Savage wants the tag. Heading the the corner Steve makes it and "Macho Man" climbs the top turnbuckle! He signals for the Flying Elbow Drop and goes airborne! He connects! He makes the cover and gets it! Savage and Corino are now the number one contenders!
Lights Fade.

5/23/95 - Municipal Auditorium Atlanta, GA"Mean" Gene Okerlund and "The Genius" Lanny Poffo welcome us to the Municipal Auditorium in beautiful Atlanta, Georgia for another exciting edition of Eastern Championship Wrestling! Lanny says there's nothing beautiful about getting heat stroke. They the talk about last week's show including Luna Vachon and Doink the Clown's attack on William Regal earning them a DQ in their match, newcomer Tommy Dreamer getting robbed of the win over Mongo Vyle thanks to "The Mauler's" Destruction Inc. cohorts; and "Macho Man" Randy Savage and Steve Corino's win over the Tag-Team Champs The Lawlers which has earned them a shot at the Eastern Tag-Team Championship! They then run down tonight's card which will see Eastern States Champion The Bliztkrieg in singles action against Ronnie Garvin or as Okerlund retorts; as close to "singles competition" as Von Raschke's crew get; which is generally three on one. Also tonight the Tag-Team Champs will be in a match with the "All-New" New Orient Express when they meet Yoshihiro Tajiri and the massive Masato Tanaka in non-Title action. And in tonight's Main Event the ECW Heavyweight Champ "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson will square off against the sinister Doink the Clown! Lanny finds this ridiculous. But to start things off we'll see two men in action who've been at each other's throats of late here at Eastern Championship.Joel Gertner makes with the introductions for the first match of the night.Match: Scott Taylor vs. Dick Murdoch "Superstar" Scott Taylor and "Captain Redneck" Dick Murdoch don't even wait for referee Danny Davis to start the bell before they charge across the ring and tear into one another! There isn't much wrestling as the two men brawl about the ring with neither getting the drop on the other for long when the crowd comes alive and... "Macho Man" Randy Savage is in the ring?! And he has a steel chair! He lets Dick Murdoch have it and the Scott Taylor! Both men goe down hard and Randy lefts Murdoch up to his feet and hurls him from the ring! He then picks up Taylor and begins hammering him into the corner before taking him down to the mat with a snapmare where he begins putting the boots to "The Superstar!" The crowd goes crazy again as ECW Champion "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson appears on the ramp and begins hurrying down to the ring! Savage sees him and taking the steel chair sets Scott Taylor's neck inside it. He then lifts his boot up above it making a stomping motion! "Macho Man" is going to break Taylor's neck! This stops Anderson dead in his tracks and he waves for Randy to stop. "Macho" gestures for Gertner to get him the mic.
"Macho Man" tells Arn that he thought coming out here and beating on his little protegee would get his attention. He knew that "The Enforcer" had a weak spot and he's been biding his time, waiting for the right moment to take advantage of it. Yeah. He says that last week him and his own lackey Steve Corino defeated the Tag-Team Champions. Put the Lawlers down for the 1-2-3. Dig it! And while Savage is certain they'll take those Titles soon enough; being the number one contender again made him hungry. Not hungry for a Slim Jim. Oooh no. But for the Championship Gold. Dig it! And while Savage could put his foot down. Right now. End this young nobody's career. In the blink of an eye. That's not what he's out here for. What "Macho Man" wants tonight is to put "The Enforcer" on notice. Dig. On edge. Cause Randy Savage is coming. And nothing. Nobody is going to stand in his way of becoming a two time ECW Champion! Ooooh Yeah!
Savage then picks Scott Taylor up and tosses the chair to the side. He then hurls him outside the ring toward Anderson who checks on him while "Macho Man" makes his exit up the ramp. As he passes Arn Anderson to two men eyeball one another.Back from the break "Ich tu der weh" by Rammstein is playing and The Baron Von Raschke is in the ring with Aryan and The Blitzkrieg who is glaring at the crowd with the Eastern States Championship slung over one shoulder. The Baron tells us that last week he witnessed a pathetic spectacle perpetrated here on Eastern Championship. That if his ears weren't deceiving him he heard the word "entitled" and "Championship" slung together in the same sentence. As if such a thing should just be handed to someone for showing up. Of course the people he is referring to are... Aryan snatches the microphone from his father.
He says to screw that and screw Slick and his boys. He doesn't know why they feel entitled to anything. They got their Title shot and much like when the Lakers met the Celtics; you choked. You did. But of course it's just gotta be the fault of the man. Well Aryan has news for Mr. Brown and Mr. Reed. You are entitled to nothing. There will be no reparations. Nada. Zippo. Move the fuck on!
Von Raschke looks equal parts pleased and unsure of his son's little speech. "Mean" Gene apologizes for that horrible outburst as well as Savage's actions tonight. He doesn't know what has gotten into everybody. Poffo suggests that perhaps there's a full moon and gives a mock howl.Match: The Blitzkrieg vs. Ronnie Garvin This isn't the first time "Rugged" Ronnie Garvin has stepped into the ring with the Eastern States Champion and he gives the big man one hell of a fight in this match officiated by S.D. Jones. He holds his own despite "Mangler's Monster's" considerably greater strength advantage until he makes the mistake of allowing Aryan von Raschke to distract him at ringside when he moons him! Ron seems stunned by this and turning back toward The Blitzkrieg eats a chokeslam from the Eastern States Champion for the three count.Lanny and Gene then welcome us back from the commercial break and Von Raschke's crew are still in the ring? We're soon informed that the next match of the night will see young Aryan von Raschke is single's competition. Okerlund reminds us how he doesn't like these three. Poffo however isn't sure. He thinks they're growing on him. "Like a case of herpes," Gene retorts.Match: Aryan vs. Christian Cage Aryan von Raschke bullies and works over the rookie Christian who gets in little offense before Aryan nails him with the Sieg Hail! superkick which nets him the win from Danny Davis.
The Baron Von Raschke joins Aryan inside the ring to celebrate his win when out from the back charges Brickhouse Brown and Butch Reed! The two men lay into both Von Raschkes; with Brickhouse hitting the swinging neckbreaker on The Baron who slithers from the ring. The Blitzkrieg tosses his Championship aside and climbs up onto the apron to come to Aryan's aide; but Reed and Brown see him coming and hit him with a double running clothesline that sends him down to the floor! Alone in the ring Aryan waves the duo away; but undettered Butch Reed hoists the younger Von Raschke up into the air and military presses him from the ring! Just then their manager Slick arrives on the scene and he's holding... The Eastern States Championship?! He hands it to Butch who throws it over his shoulder. "Hacksaw" asks the crowd if it looks good on him? But they don't seem to know which heels to cheer for. He says that's fine with him. He wasn't expecting to get the approval of a bunch of rednecks from Hotlanta. The trio then leave with the Title! After the break Lanny is going on about how Slick and his men stole the Eastern States Championship. He can't believe it. Okerlund says that while he hates siding with The Baron Von Raschke on anything; that Butch Reed certainly isn't the Eastern States Champion and should return the belt. He's sure we haven't heard the last of this. Which he hates because it means hearing more from The Baron Von Raschke... AND "The Doctor of Style." He and Poffo then remind us that next week's show will take place live from The Pyramid in Memphis, Tennesse; the hometown of our Tag-Team Champions The Lawlers. He says that while tickets for the show are sold out; those folks at home should be sure to join us right here on TNN The Nashville Network; home of Eastern Championship Wrestling!Match: The Lawlers vs. The New Orient Express The Lawlers come down with the Tag-Titles which they pose with before handing them over to referee S.D. Jones. Things don't look good for the Tag-Champs from the get go as Brian Lawler starts things out with Yoshihiro Tajiri. Though Brian does his best to keep pace with "The Japanese Buzzsaw;" he is clearly reinvigorated and hands the younger Lawler a fast paced, high flying beatdown; the highlights of which include a handspring back eblow, a hurrancanarana after springboarding off the tope rope; and locking Brian in the illegal Tarantula! Brian Lawler however surprises Tajiri who attemps a moonsault off the top when he springs up and counters with a swinging neckbreaker! Unable to capitalize Brian instead tags in his father Jerry Lawler. Though Jerry is walking a bit funny he still manages to dominate Tajiri at first but soon Yoshihiro gains a second wind and the two men fight back and forth with neither the obvious victor until "The King" nails Tajiri with the Piledriver! He's too close to the ropes when he makes the cover; which wouldn't have even mattered had "The Diabolical" Mr. Fuji not placed "The Buzzsaw's" foot up onto the bottom rope! Jerry argues with the ref and then Fuji who remains outside claiming full innocence. Jerry returns to the match only to be taken down by a drop toe hold from Tajiri who then scrambles to his feet and hits a standing moonsault! He crawls on top of "The King" but barely gets a two! As Jerry gets up to one knee Tajiri scurries to make the tag to Masato Tanaka! He comes on the older Lawler strong and works him over with several power moves including a belly to back suplex. Jerry seems to catch a second wind; but Tanaka quickly puts an end to it with a big knee to the gut which drops Jerry Lawler to one knee where he becomes the recipient of the Sliding D forearm smash! "The King" is layed out cold; but this isn't enough for Masato Tanaka who lifts his limp opponent up into the air and nails him with the Dangan Bomb which nets him the win. The New Orient Express are the number one contenders! After the break we're taken backstage where William Regal has Beulah McGillicutty at his side while he talks to ECW correspondent Terri Runnels. He says that he's met women of low character more than once; but this Women's Champ; Luna Vachon? Well "Mad Dog" is a very apt monker for her. What she did to him last week with that imbecile Doink the Clown isn't going to go unchallenged. See Regal may not hit a woman because of his fine English upbringing; but that doesn't mean he can't train someone to do the nasty work for him. Which is why he's decided to take former Women's Champ Beulah McGillicutty under his wing. He heard the critics during her first Championship run and so did she. But Lord Regal saw alot of potential in her. And in two weeks he's going to have her ready to dispatch the vile vixen Vachon once and for all. And Doink? Just in case he has any ideas? Regal WILL be at ringside.Match: Rob Van Dam vs. Mike Quackenbush Rob Van Dam and Mike Quackenbush put on a fast paced, high flying showcase which spills out into the audience where "Mr. Wednesday Night" plants Quackenbush with a one handed bulldog before climbing back inside the ring; mounting the turnbuckle and hits a 5-Star Frog Splash on the outside! The arena comes unglued. The two men then inobvious pain end up battling back inside the ring where RVD uses a springboard moonsault which he transitions into reverse DDT on a standing Mike Quackenbush for the win. Davis makes the count. After the match we hear "You're the Best Around" by Joe Esposito as "The Long Island Loud-Mouth" Chris Jericho appears on the big screen! He has the Inter-Promotional Title proudly displayed on his shoulder. He tells us that last week he defeated "The Bad Guy" Scott Hall. And as the Inter-Promotional Champion he's been on the road in search of his next opponent! Who is it you ask? Well Jericho is going to tell you. Because he's at the Sacremento International Airport looking for another WCW star. Because as the saying goes "If you wanna be the man; you've gotta beat the man." Which is why Jericho is out this Monday morning hunting "The 'Natch" Ric Flair! Woo! He's scheduled to get in any second now.We then follow Jericho as he waits for Flair. He shows off his belt for the fans at the airport and signs autographs; and getting bored tries to sleep when... the flight arrives! Chris Jericho jumps up from his seat and begins looking over everyone's heads. People keep pouring out of the plane, but nobody is there. Finally he sees a blonde come off the plane wearing a very Flair-like robe. Chris hurries along behind the person who's walking a... poodle? Catching up to the person after yelling in vain for the person to stop; he hurls himself onto them! And as he turns the surprised passenger over; it's a woman?! Jericho looks shocked as airport security runs over to break things up. They ask him what in the hell he's doing and he explains that he was looking for "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair to challenge him for the Inter-Promotional Title! They inform him that Flair changed flights to earlier in the morning; because he demanded that he only flies first class! Jericho is pissed and says that Ric Flair is just a chicken shit and must've knew he was here somehow. But that he's going to find another Champion to challenge for his Title! The woman Jericho tackled says that her friend Jimmy Connors used to be quite the Tennis Champion. A sparkle gleams in the sadistic eye of Chris Jericho. We're the taken to a tennis court where Jimmy Connors is waiting for an opponent when in walks... Chris Jericho! He's wearing tennis shorts that're too short and looks like a geek. We then see Connors serve and get the first point on "The Loud-Mouth" who complains about not being ready! We then see Connors score another point on him! Chris begins looking determined and goes on to win the match in his usual heavily edited style! Finally we see Jericho with Connors and the woman from the airport. Chris tells us how he's once again proven himself to be the undisputed Inter-Promotional Champ! The woman then grabs him and kisses him?! And Connors yells at Jericho for messing with his wife. Looking at the screen "The Long Island Loud-Mouth" smiles and gives a sheepish "Oops!" Ivory is in front of the ECW banner and talks with correspondent Terri Runnels about the so-called Women's Champ Luna Vachon. She says that she isn't surprised by Luna's actions last week. That she isn't a true wrestler; just a piece of trailer trash looking to get back at society at large by hurting people. But she picked the wrong sport. She says that Luna would've fit right in wrestling pigs or swilling beer. But wrestling is a professional sports with rules and skills learned over years of training. Which is Luna will soon learn when she comes face to face with Ivory for the Women's Championship. Because on that day "Mad Dog" is gonna get taken to school.Match: Ivory vs. Tiffany Ivory and Tiffany put on a solid match with Tiffany getting a nearfall following the Iconoclasm off the top. Ivory however dominates most of the match before putting Tiffany away for the three count from referee S.D. Jones. After the match we're taken to a pre-recored promo of Tommy Dreamer talking about how he had to grow up tough living in Yonkers, New York. We see the streets of Yonkers filled with delinquents and the abandoned schoolyard in black and white. He says that in school he had to learn to toughen up, that when somebody hit you; you just caome back swinging harder. He then says that in his life he's had to deal with more than his share of bullies. Tough guys who had to fight in packs. He then addresses Mongo Vyle whom he says is just another in a long line of guys who thought they could take Tommy Dreamer out. But next week he's going to be back. And he'll be swinging harder."Mean" Gene and Lanny welcome us back from the last commercial break of the evening. They hype tonight's main event which will see the ECW Champion "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson in non-Title action against Doink the Clown. Lanny says oh goody; maybe Doink will bring balloons; and rolls his eyes.
Gertner: The following contest is a non-Title match. Introducing first rejected from Barnum and Bailey's weighing 243 lbs.; he is the Master of Shadow Puppets; Doink the Clown!
Doink comes out with the Women's Champ Luna Vachon in tow. She is pumping him up as they make their way down to the ring where Danny Davis is waiting.
Gertner: And his challenger this evening weighing 255 lbs. from Rome, Georgia; he is the Eastern Heavyweight Champion "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson!Match: Arn Anderson vs. Doink the Clown Arn Anderson doesn't look too happy as he hands his Title over to Davis. Doink the Clown extends his hand and AA looks at him obviously pissed; but he begrudgingly takes it. And gets a shock! The Clown does belly laugh; but Arn isn't amused and begins beating the shit out of Doink. He is obviously aggravated from Savage's antics earlier in the show and takes it out on The Clown whom he busts open with a hard elbow drop to the face. This anger almost is "The Enforcer's" undoing when he whips his opponent into the ropes and ducks to early in attempt to lift Doink into a fireman's carry. The Clown counters with a knee to the face which he follows up with a double underhook facebuster! He makes the cover but doesn't even get the two. Still he keeps on top of Arn for a good bit; but the Champ battles back and even more annoyed than before viciously works over the right arm, shoulder; and neck of his opponent until while next to the ropes he's grabbed from behind! He turns to see Luna Vachon and Lanny quips now AA knows what it feels like to be Doink in the morning. He tries to shake her off; but is unable to; when the crowd begins to cheer. William Regal and Beulah McGillicutty race down from the back! Grabbing her by the legs Regal pulls her down and holds Vachon in a full nelson while Beulah McGillicutty holds off and slugs her! Lanny says that apparently Englishmen are allowed to restrain women. And then promptly ponders restraining Beulah. Meanwhile inside the ring Doink the Clown attacks Arn Anderson from behind! Having got the drop on him he gets a few cheap shots in; but "The Enforcer" soon takes full control again and pulling Doink in from an armwrench sets him up with the Brainbuster! It connects and AA picks up the win.
Lights Fade.

5/30/95 - The Pyramid Memphis, TN"Mean" Gene Okerlund and "The Genius" Lanny Poffo welcome us to the Pyramid in Memphis, Tennesse for another exciting edition of Eastern Championship Wrestling! They talk briefly about last week's show including Randy Savage's vicious attack on Scott Taylor where the "Macho Man" put ECW Arn Anderson on notice that he's coming for the Title, the powderkeg about to explode between Von Raschke's men and the "The Doctor of Style" Slick's crew; and Regal's ongoing feud with Doink which spilled over into The Clown's match with "The Enforcer" during the Main Event. They then begin hyping tonight's show which will see... Okerlund and Poffo receive word that there's something going on in the parking lot!The camera quickly cuts to the back where we see Tommy Dreamer who is busy cracking a baseball bat into the windshield of a truck cracking it! Within seconds a pissed off Destruction Inc. appears led by Mongo Vyle who screams at him. Standing on top of the hood Dreamer points the bat at them and yells at "The Mauler" that he tried to do things their way; but that wasn't good enough. Well now; he's doing things his way! He then hoists the bat into the air again as Vyle yells for him to stop and puts it through the window! Tommy then hops down and holds his arms out challenging Mongo and Rhino when a screech is heard and suddenly from behind Takako Inoue leaps on Dreamer and begins clawing at him! Quickly he runs backwards and slams her into the car! He turns back to Mongo and tosses the bat nearly clipping him in the head. "The Machiavellan Mauler" and Rhino dodge as Tommy Dreamer takes off. Mongo who has picked up the bat is shouting "You're dead Dreamer! Dead!" And in frustration slams the bat over a nearby guardrail snapping it in half.
Back at ringside Lanny ponders if William Regal will be coming to the defense of Takako Inoue now. Gene doesn't seem to think so. He says that harpy got what was coming to her. "The Genius" says regardless, he certainly wouldn't want to be Tommy Dreamer when Mongo Vyle inevitably gets his hands on him.
Joel Gertner then introduces the competitors in the first match of the night.Match: William Regal vs. Christian S.D. Jone starts the match. Young Christian gets a little offense in early on; but Lord William Regal gives him a good working over before making him submit to the Regal Stretch arm trapped cross-legged STF. After the match he leaves with Beulah McGillicutty who was waiting at ringside. "Lucky bastard" mutters Poffo. After the break we see ECW correspondent Terri Runnels talking to "The U.K. Kidd" Douglas Williams about his injury last year. He says that it's been a long road, but the doctors say his jaw has completely mended. He's very thankful to Eric Bischoff and the rest of the folks at ECW for keeping him on the payroll during his downtime and tells Terri that he enjoyed his time as ECW's correspondent; a job he personally thinks she's handling very well. He's looking forward to get back to where he belongs though; in the ring. Just then Lord William Regal shows up and he congratulates Williams on his recovery and wishes him luck in his match tonight. Doug thanks him and Regal reminds him about his offer to go after the tag-team titles together once he's feeling up to it. When in walks ECW Champion "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson. He has the belt over his shoulder and shakes hands with both men. He tells Doug Williams that he knows a thing or two about getting over an injury and knows how hard it can be. He says he's glad to see he's doing well. He then eyes William Regal before thanking him for the assist last night. He didn't need it and he knows Regal had an agenda of his own out there; but regardless; he owes him one.Match: Doug Williams vs. Spike Hughes "The U.K. Kidd" Doug Williams makes his return to the main roster here at Eastern Championship Wrestling and has a hardfought match against one half of the Hughes Brothers in this match officiated by Danny Davis. Spike Hughes gets in a good amount of offense, hitting Williams with the diving double foot stomp, a diving clothesline; and a three quarter facelock bulldog. Doug has alot of fight in him and battles back with a German suplex, the revolution DDT; and the Bombs Away diving knee drop before finally getting the three count using the Chaos Theory waist lock backwards roll transitioned into a bridged German suplex.Match: Luna Vachon vs. La Diabolica The Women's Champ "Mad Dog" Luna Vachon heads down to the ring from The Other Side of Darkness with Doink the Clown in tow. The masked La Diabolica gives her a tough match with alot of back and forth. Neither woman has a clear advantage until Diabolica launches off the top looking to hit a huurancanrana and Luna Vachon catches her and swinging her down to the mat, cements her into the canvas with a powerbomb! Referee S.D. Jones makes the count. After the match we're taken to the big screen where we're once again greeted by the grinning visage of the Inter-Promotional Champion "The Long Island Loud-Mouth" Chris Jericho while "You're the Best Around" by Joe Esposito plays! Jericho tells us he's in Poughkeepsie, New York where the WWF is having a show at The Mid Hudson Civic Center later that night. Which is good, because Jericho is looking for his next challenger for the Inter-Promotional Championship! And that man today is... The Undertaker! Which what brings Jericho to the Old Lady of the Holy Souls. The camera pulls back and we see Chris Jericho is at a cemetery. He says that a great many things lie at rest here. And today The Undertaker's career will be joining them. He creeps past some tombstones before coming across an unmarked crypt. Chris tells us that he's received word from anonymous sources that The Undertaker takes his siestas before shows in places just like this. And that "The Dead Man" has been pinpointed to this exact spot! He then knocks on the door. There is no answer. So he knocks again. After a few seconds we hear the voice of The Undertaker's manager "Paul Bearer"! He says "Whooo's wraa-aaa-ping upo-on m-m-my chamber door?" The Inter-Promotional Champion Chris Jericho! That's who! Chris shouts at the door. He says he wants to challenge The Undertaker for the Title! The voice replies that The Undertaker is re-e-esting fo-o-or his match. Chris frowns at the camera before turning and kicking the door to the crypt open!
The door flies open and knocks "Paul Bearer" down. Chris says that he doesn't care, cause he's here to wake Sleeping Beauty up. He then lifts Paul Bearer up to his feet and tosses him outside! He protests the whole way. He surveys the crypt and sees the closed coffin. Chris Jericho turns toward the screen and smiles. He says that before any match it's important to take certain "precautions." He then produces a hammer and nails!
We then see Chris Jericho nails the coffin shut! Happy with his handiwork he brushes his hands together and hops up on top of it. It begins to shake and we hear shouting from within! Jericho looks a bit shaken and mking the cover holds down the lid as he shouts 1! 2! 3! Leaping up he celebrates with the belt proclaiming his latest win with the Inter-Promotional Title. "The Long Island Loud-Mouth" has defeated The Undertaker! Just then the coffin busts open and up sits "The Undertaker!" (or is that Big Bad John again?)"Oh shit!" Jericho blurts as his eyes bug out of his head. He takes off out of the crypt with The Undertaker in hot pursuit!"Mean" Gene and Lanny welcome us back from the break before reminding us that next week's show will be coming to us live from the UTC Arena in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He says that while tickets for the show are sold out; those folks at home should tune in right here on ECW's home station of TNN The Nashville Network to see all the action live! They then discuss Tommy Dreamer's actions earlier in the show when he vandalized the truck of "The Machiavellan Mauler" Mongo Vyle. Okerlund and Poffo sure that isn't sitting well with the big man and his cohorts in Destruction Inc. "Ich tu der weh" by Rammstein then rips through the arena as The Baron Von Raschke appears on the ramp rubbing the shoulders of his son Aryan as he heads down to the ring. The Blitzkrieg is right behind them with the Eastern States Championship slung over his shoulder.Match: Aryan vs. Tommy Dreamer After getting Von Raschke and "Mangler's Monster" to leave the ring, Danny Davis starts the match up. Aryan locks up with Tommy Dreamer and with a quick go behind grabs Dreamer in a headlock. After struggling to free himself for a bit, Dreamer pushes himself free and sends the younger Von Raschke into the ropes and on the rebound nails him with a spinning clothesline! The two men battle back and forth and are very evenly matched; but when Aryan attempts to suplex Tommy, Dreamer counters with a DDT laying him out flat! He goes to make the cover when "Fucking Hostile" by Pantera assaults the arena! Dreamer turns toward the ramp but nobody is there. Suddenly Destruction Inc. hits the ring! They begin tearing into Tommy Dreamer and when Aryan von Raschke sits up, Rhino grabs him and runs him toward the ropes and tosses him out to the floor! This angers The Baron Von Raschke and his charge The Blitzkrieg. "Mangler's Monster" enters as Davis calls for the bell declaring the match a No Contest.
Destruction Inc. meanwhile doesn't know what hit them as The Blitzkrieg charges them taking Mongo Vyle down with a running clothesline. He then grabs Rhino by the throat! Chokeslam! Tommy Dreamer hops out of the ring and pointing to the ring begins laughing at Vyle and "The Man-Beast! Mongo Vyle who is up on one knee sees this and gives Dreamer a look that could kill as The Blitzkrieg slams him with a clubbing blow to the back and then begins stomping a mudhole into "The Mauler." Aryan Von Raschke has also re-entered the ring and is stomping on Rhino before hoisting him up and levels him with a DDT! The Baron Von Raschke enters the ring and the heels celebrate whil Tommy Dreamer raises his hands in victory as he disappears up the ramp. Lanny Poffo can't believe it. He says that that dolt Tommy Dreamer planned this! He lured Destruction Inc. to their doom! It's... it's... "Genius?" Okerlund puts in. Lanny says he wouldn't go that far.Just then however Butch Reed and Brickhouse Brown head down the ramp as Slick appears on the stage! Von Raschke's crew's celebration is cut short as the two big men slide into the ring and begin hammering on Aryan and The Blitzkrieg! The two men fight back and the four men brawl about the ring as ECW heads to...Doink the Clown is with Luna Vachon. Doink is saying how last week he was cheated. Duped out of a win over the ECW Champ by that humourless do-gooder William Regal. How chivalrous. Well Doink says poppy cock to that. He's not going to take this lying down. Or seated. Oh no. The Clown is going to have the last laugh. He then laughs maniacally.Match: Rob Van Dam vs. Erin O'Grady After "The Leprechaun" finishes tosses his gold coins to the crowd Erin O'Grady locks up with "Mr. wednesday Night" Rob Van Dam. They put on a fast paced match that spills out onto the floor where Erin O'Grady leaps from the top turnbuckle and nails RVD with a hurrancanrana! The two men battle on the outside with "Mr. Wednesday Night" hitting O'Grady with a springboard moonsault he transitions into an inverted DDT! Rolling him back inside he gets a close three count. Erin rallies back and the two men continue to impress until O'Grady goes for the Lucky Charm lifting double underhook implant DDT and Rob counters with a back body drop! Quickly heading up top Rob Van Dam leaps off and nails Erin O'Grady with the 5-Star Frog Splash which nets him the win from referee S.D. Jones. Match: Dick Murdoch vs. Sexton Hardcastle Young Sexton Hardcastle gets some offense in during this match officiated by Danny Davis, but "Captain Redneck" mostly dominates him and in the end puts him away with the Brainbuster. After the match ECW correspondent Terri Runnels is with ECW Champion "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson and "The Superstar" Scott Taylor. Scott is obviously annoyed and tells Terri he was this close to putting that loudmouth cheat Dick Murdoch down for good when the "Macho Man" interfered. Arn Anderson then says that he and Randy Savage have had more than their share of disagreements. But it's always been about business. Both of them want the Eastern Heavyweight Championship. And whil he holds it AA realizes that puts a big, old fat bullseye square on his back. He expects everyone from Doink the Clown last week to world class athletes like Rick Rude and Randy Savage gunning for him. It's to be expected. But one thing no man can abide is when someone goes after their family. And over the past year Scott Taylor has been like a son to him. And Randy is well aware of that. It's why he targeted him last week. He wanted "The Enforcer's" attention and let Arn tell you something Terri. "Macho Man" got just that. Him and his "boy." Which is why next week he's requested a tag-team match. Him and Taylor versus Savage and Corino. Cause Arn is looking for a little payback. You can bet on that. "Mean" Gene and Lanny Poffo welcome us back from the last commercial break of the evening. They hype tonight's Main Event; which Okerlund informs us was requested by the Eastern Heavyweight Champion Arn Anderson himself. He wanted a warm up match for him and "The Superstar" Scott Taylor before their big tag-team match against Savage and Corino next week. "The Genius" called "The Enforcer" a moron for asking for such stiff competition here tonight. The New Orient Express are two time Tag-Team Champions. Hell they are the current number one contenders! And now they have Masato Tanaka on their side! And all AA has is that shrimp Scott Taylor? Things aren't going to end well for the ECW Champ. Gene on the otherhand thinks it was a smart decision. Arn knows that him and his protogee Taylor are in for one hell of a fight next week and he's looking to sharpen up their teamwork before the big one. The Kaientai Theme then hits as Mr. Fuji leads his men down to the ring.
Gertner: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first from Tokyo, Japan weighing a combined 440 lbs. and accompanied to the ring by "The Diabolical One" Mr. Fuji; they are Masato Tanaka and "The Japanese Buzzsaw" Yoshihiro Tajiri; The New Orient Express!
Tajiri and Tanaka stalk about the ring while Lanny and Gene discuss the fact that if either of these men pin the world Champion here tonight they would become the number one contender for the ECW Title. "Welcome to the Jungle" by Guns 'N Roses then plays as "The Superstar" Scott Taylor appears on the ramp with the ECW Champ.
Gertner: And now entering the ring at this time weighing a combined 464 lbs. they are the team of Scott Taylor and "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson!Tag-Team Match: The New Orient Express vs. Arn Anderson & Scott Taylor S.D. Jones starts the match with Arn Anderson inside the ring with "The Japanese Buzzsaw." The two men lock up with AA soon catching Yoshihiro Tajiri in a front headlock. Tajiri battles out with several fists to the gut and Irish whips "The Enforcer" into the ropes, but on the rebound Anderson takes Yoshihiro down to the mat with an elbow smash. Pulling his opponent up to his feet the ECW Champion begins hammering on him. he follows Tajiri into the corner where he kicks him in the gut before whipping him into the corner. AA charges in after him; but Yoshihiro leaps up onto the top tunbuckle to dodge and locks in The Tarantula! Scott Taylor enters the ring looking to break up the illegal hold, but S.D. Jones stops him! Anderson escapes but ends up in even more trouble as a result when Masato Tanaka enters illegally and hits him with a spinebuster! Tanaka makes the cover and a confused Jones slides in the make the count. 1!..2!. Arn kicks out! Big Tanaka puts the boots to his opponent before lifting him up and whipping him into the corner. He charges in for a body avalanche, but Arn gets his foot up and kicks him in the face! He begins hammering and chopping Masato across the ring but Tanaka manages to turn the tables and whips him hard into the turnbuckle again! As "The Enforcer" bounces out of the corner Tanaka goes for a suplex! But Anderson manages to turn while in midair and comes down on his with a crossbody press! He goes for the pin! 1!..2!. Tanaka kicks free! Both men pop back up and run at one another with Masato going for a clothesline! Arn ducks under it however and hoists him up in a back suplex! Rolling over Arn heads to his corner and tags in Scott Taylor. "The Superstar" immediately heads up top and as Masato gets up to his feet Taylor goes airborne and takes him down with a missile dropkick! He is fired up and begins hammering on Tanaka before going for the whip; but Masato counters with a whip of his own and charges in! Scott however hammers him in the face with a back elbow and using the second rope takes Tanaka down to the mat with a springboard bulldog. Taylor runs the ropes; but gets tripped up by the cane of Mr. Fuji! Distracted Scott gets back up and begins yelling at him and when he turns about Tanaka lets him have it with a kick to the gut which he follows up with a powerbomb! Scott looks like he is hurt as Masato pulls him up to his feet and begins clubbing his head and back before whipping him into the ropes! He goes for a back body drop; but Taylor counters with a Tornado DDT! He makes the cover but doesn't even get a two before Yoshihiro Tajiri storms into the ring and puts the boots to him breaking the count. Arn Anderson comes running in and begins hammering on Tajiri. He begins stomping him into the corner, but referee S.D. Jones pulls him off and returns him to his corner. Tanaka meanwhile nails Scott Taylor with a punch to the gut and hoists him up for a bodyslam! Yoshihiro comes in and the two look like they're up to no good; but Scott wiggles free and landing behind Masato Tanak pushes him forward into Tajiri! Heading back to his corner Taylor tags in "The Enforcer" and the duo hit Masato with a double suplex! Tanaka wisely rolls out of the ring where he confers with his tag-team partner. Scott Taylor climbs the turnbuckle however and leaps off with a flying crossbody that sends all three men tumbling to the ground! S.D. Jones begins the 10 count on Tanaka while Arn Anderson waits inside the ring. He is grabbed from behind however and turning about is face to face with Randy Savage! The "Macho Man" whips the surprised AA across the ring and chasing after him leaps over the top rope nailing him with a hairpull hangman! Scott Taylor (or S.D. Jones for that matter) didn't see it and rolls Masato Tanaka back into the ring and turning to head back to his corner catches a face full of Asian Mist for "The Japanese Buzzsaw!" Taylor screams in pain as he hits the floor. Meanwhile inside the ring both Masato Tanaka and Arn Anderson are down and out. Tanaka begins to stir first and getting up to one knee sees the ECW Champ laid out. He makes the cover and hooks the leg! 1!...2!.. Arn kicks out! Getting back up to his feet Masato Tanaka puts the boots to Arn Anderson before pulling him up and hammering his head and back. He sets up the Dangan Bomb! But Arn is awake and battles out! The two men begin throwing punches back and forth with "The Enforcer" slowly getting the better of Tanaka! He drives him back into the ropes and whips him across the ring! But he gets tripped up?! Looking back he catches a face full of salt thrown by "The Diabolical One" just seconds before Tanaka comes crashing back into him with a big body check! Arn gets caught on the top rope as Masato Tanaka grabs hold of him and hits the Complete Dust inverted sitout side powerslam on the Champ! He makes the cover! 1!...2!...3! Masato Tanaka has pinned the ECW Champ!
Lights Fade.
