04/04/95 - J.S. Dorton Arena Raleigh, NC"Mean" Gene Okerlund and "The Genius" Lanny Poffo welcome us to the J.S. Dorton Arena in beautiful Raleigh North Carolina for another exciting edition of Eastern Championship Wrestling! Before running down tonight's card they discuss last week's episode which saw Tag-Team Champion Jerry Lawler face off against the Inter-Promotional Champ Chris Jericho! After losing the match via DQ because of a low blow, Jericho tried to cause more damage to the downed Lawler before being stopped by his opponent at Hardcore Heaven; former New York Giant Lawrence Taylor! We also witnessed ECW Champion "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson accepting "Rugged" Ronnie Garvin's challenge for the Title. And it's happening right here tonight!Lady Alexandra then begins announcing the first match of the night. "Another One Bites the Dust" hits and out from the back emerges "Captain Redneck" Dick Murdoch. Murdoch talks about his match with this so-called "Superstar" Scott Taylor two weeks ago. He says he's a punk kid who got lucky pinning a true legend like good ol' "Captain Redneck." He doesn't like Taylor. Doesn't like his fruity outfits or his girly haircut or that stupid Heavy Metal crap he comes out to. And tonight he's gonna put an end to all that by pinning him 1-2-3.Match: Dick Murdoch vs. Scott Taylor Dick Murdoch is frustrated throughout this match officiated by S.D. Jones which sees the much younger and more agile Scott Taylor hold his own against "Captain Redneck." Both men get several nearfalls with Murdoch getting more and more aggravated whenever "Superstar" kicks out. Toward the end of the match Dick begins using every cheap trick in the book, finally removing the turnbuckle pad when the ref isn't looking and ends up catapulting the unaware Scott Taylor face first into it busting him open! As Taylor stumbles about in a bloody daze, Dick Murdoch scoops him up and lays him out cold with a brainbuster for the three count.Match: Sexton Hardcastle vs. Buck Zumhoff The rookie Sexton Hardcastle gets some offense in here; but in the end "Rock 'N Roll" Buck Zumhoff whips him across the ring and nails him with a sunset flip for the three count from Danny Davis. After the match he celebrates his victory by dancing for his fans.Match: Beulah McGillicutty vs. Takako Inoue This match is a hard fought battle which sees former Women's Champ Beulah McGillicutty take a pretty hard bump froma belly to back suplex. Though obviously dazed by it she continues the match and ends up getting the win via a DDT on Inoue. She then asks referee S.D. Jones for the microphone.
She says that she knows that that snake "Hot Stuff" Debbie Combs will have to defend her Title at Hardcore Heaven. And she wants that shot. Combs took the Title from her. She acted like she was friend and wormed her way into Beulah's trust. And when she struck her from behind to steal the Women's Championship she violated that trust. And now she wants a little payback. So she's asking, no demanding that Eric Bischoff put her in a match against Combs at ECW's next big event!"White Train" by Tito & Tarantula then hits and ECW President Eric Bischoff swaggers his way out onto the ramp. He says he appreciates McGillicutty's tenacity; but he'd like to get one thing straight first. Nobody, but nobody demands anything of Eric Bischoff. That said, he is a business man and has so even though she's been a bit shaky in the ring of lat, Bischoff is prepared to give her a chance to earn her Title Shot. Next week she will have a number one contender's Match. Against "Mad Dog" Luna Vachon!"Mean" Gene and Lanny welcome us back from the break before reminding us that next week's show will be coming to us live from the Grady Cole Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. And that while tickets for that show are sold out; those folks left at home can tune in here as usually on TNN The Nashville Network; home of Eastern Championship Wrestling!"Pomp and Circumstance" hits and "Macho Man" Randy Savage emerges from the back with Debbie Combs and Steve Corino in tow. Things are a little different this week as Savage hands Corino his hat and coat to hold instead of just draping his gear over him. "Fucking Hostile" by Pantera then hits and Mongo Vyle charges down to the ring. The big man slides into the ring and while Randy is still posing for the crowd he attacks him causing Danny Davis to start the match.Match: Randy Savage vs. Mongo Vyle Caught off guard Randy Savage falls forward onto the top turnbuckle as Mongo Vyle begins hammering on him. He then picks Randy up onto his shoulders and nails him with an electric chair drop! He goes for the cover getting a close two count. Keeping on top of "Macho Man" Vyle puts the boots to him as Randy fights his way up to his feet. He begins punching Savage in the head and sets him up for a DDT! Randy however hits him with a kidney punch that stuns "The Machiavellan" Mauler and pushes him backward. He lays into the big man with hard rights and lefts driving him into the ropes where he Irish whips him across the ring and comes charging in with the high knee smash dropping Vyle to the canvas. Randy then backs away and catches his breath near the ropes. As Vyle gets back to his feet however Savage runs in with a double axe-handle strike and begins hammering him across the ring again. Mongo is only momentarily stunned however and soon begins firing back and the two men brawl about the ring until "The Mauler" grabs Savage by the head and slams it into the top turnbuckle. As "Macho" reels back Vyle scoops him up and hits a spinebuster! He follows this up with a delayed elbow drop before making the cover. 1...2.. Savage kicks out! Keeping on him Vyle grabs Randy in a side headlock and beats his head in. Randy looks like he is losing momentum when he leg begins pounding on the canvas. The crowd gets behind him as he fights his way up to his feet elbows Vyle in the gut, takes him down with a snapmare; and then while he is seated lets Mongo have it with a dropkick to the back of the head! Mongo looks like he's in trouble as Savage hooks the leg. 1... 2... Vyle powers out! Running back over to his recovering opponent Randy begins clubbing him with hard elbows and the occasional punch before whipping Vyle across the ring and following him in leaps over the top rope for the hair pull hangman! Mongo goes down hard as Randy climbs back inside the ring, but someone has grabbed his boot?! It's "The Man-Beast" Rhino who's been hiding under the ring! Savage tries to free himself kicking furiously, but soon Rhino isn't an issue as Steve Corino runs over, jumps up onto the steel steps and takes Rhino down to the steel floor with a flying clothesline! Inside the ring meanwhile Mongo Vyle has recovered and kicking Randy Savage helps him to his feet and elbows him in the back. He runs him shoulder first into the steel ring post in the corner before battering "Macho Man" with a flurry of fists. He signals for a body avalanche by making a slicing motion across his own throat and runs full throttle into Savage; but Randy grabs the top ropes and hits "The Machiavellan Mauler" with double boots to the face! He then grabs the big man from behind and hits and atomic drop! Meanwhile outside the ring Rhino has bloodied Corino's face by slamming him into the guardrail. He's hit him with a release powerbomb on the concrete floor and proceeds in stomping him out. Randy Savage however has Mongo Vyle right where he wants him and climbing up top signals for the Savage Elbow Drop before going airborne! He connects and Davis makes the count. Savage has won it!
He gets up looking for Debbie Combs just in time to see her leap on top of Rhino! "The Man-Beast" doesn't seem to realize who is attacking him and reacts instinctively; grabbing her by the head and tossing her over his shoulders where she hits the floor hard! "Macho Man" looks livid and runs across the ring; leaping of the top rope in a suicide dive onto Rhino! Both men go crashing to the floor but Savage is right back up and grabbing the guardrail for leverage he begins stomping a mudhole into Rhino occasionally jumping on him for good measure. Finally he snatches the time keeper's bell from the announcers desk and lifting Rhino to a seated position crowns him with it! Afterward he scoops up Debbie Combs who seems a bit shaken and carries her to the back.Back from the commercial break we see a pretaped video clip featuring everyone's favorite "Long Island Loud-Mouth" and undisputed Inter-Promotional Champion Chris Jericho! Jericho says that his jaw is a little sore from last week's cheap shot from that bully Lawrence Taylor. But that's okay because at Hardcore Heaven he'll have all his attention set on destroying L.T. But in the meantime? He appreciated Taylor's little display of "wrestling" last week. So this week Chris has cooked up a little exhibition of his own. Which is why he's in beautiful Williamsburg, Virginia at Lawrence's old haunt Lafayette High School! We then watch as Chris Jericho swaggers over to someone he claims is Taylor's old High School football coach. He asks about what he thought about L.T. while he was playing ball here and keeps interrupting him, asking if the coach likes his Jamestown Eagles jersey he is wearing. The coach says not really. "The Loud-Mouth" then thanks him for allowing him to have this little exhibition here today, to prove to the world once again why he; Chris Jericho; is the true Inter-Promotional Champion. They are then joined by the current High School team of Lafayette Rams players. What follows is a heavily edited vignette of Chris Jericho outplaying the High Schoolers in football at every turn. He intercepts every pass , mows down every player that gets in his way; and scores several touchdowns. After this Chris Jericho is standing on the field holding a football while surrounded by a dozen High School Rams' cheerleaders who're fawning over him. He tells us and L.T. that he has once again shown us why he is better than all of us. He then calls over one of the High School Rams players and tells him to "go long." Chris tosses the football he is throwing and it sails along until the kid eventually catches it; scoring a 102 yard Touchdown! (Impossible you say? Not for Christ Jericho!)
Lanny Poffo loves it (especially the cheerleaders) and says that Chris Jericho has proven himself to be a true Champion. He just makes Okerlund sick.Match: Brian Lawler vs. Shane Helms Brian Lawler comes to the ring with his Tag-Team Championship which he hands over to referee S.D. Jones. Shane Helms puts up a short fight before Lawler eventually takes him out with the Tennessee Jam guillotine legdrop off the top. Tag-Team Match: Brickhouse Brown & Butch Reed vs. The Hardy Boyz Danny Davis starts the match and The Hardy Boys do there best to mount some offense as Brickhhouse Brown and Butch Reed dominate the duo. Halfway through the match Jeff Hardy is whipped across the ring and cratches Brickhouse Brown off guard with a diving somersault that gets the crowd going. He keeps Brown down with a leg drop and then tags in Matt Hardy and together the duo hit him with a double suplex before Matt makes the cover. Butch Reed however comes in a breaks the count with a stomp to the head and gives Brickhouse enough space to make the tag. Matt Hardy attacks "Hacksaw" with little success and the big man hoists him over his head before transitioning it into a backbreaker over his knee in an impressive display of power which earns his team the win.
After the match Butch Reed says that this Match Eric Bischoff scheduled for next week is bullshit. That he and his man Brickhouse Brown shouldn't have to be in no damned Fatal Four-Way for the number one contendership. Because quite frankly they already are the number one contenders. They beat those two good ol' boys The Lawlers two weeks ago in Virginia. But he gets it. This is just another example of the man keeping men of color in their place. Ain't that right Brickhouse?
Brown then takes over and says that's damned right what's happening Butch. He says that when he takes a look across the wrestling landscape all he sees is white faces. Terry Gordy? A honky. Bret Hart? A honky in shades. Ric Flair? Blonde mayonnaise. Steve Williams? As their Spanish brothers would say. Just another gringo. But that's okay. That's quite alright. Because back in the '60s we learned a thing or two about what movements can do. And next week here on ECW our movemement begins. When with the deck stacked against us yet again we perservere and defeat all six of the man's men to be the number on contender's at Hardcore Heaven!"Mean Gene" Okerlund doesn't know what's gotten into Brickhouse Brown and Butch Reed before the break. He informs us that Eastern Championship has always been an equal opportunity employer. I mean they even hired Lanny Poffo. "Hey!" cries Lanny. They then hype tonight's big Main Event which will see ECW Champion Arn Anderson face off against the man he beat back at Wrestle Annual to become the number one contender that night. The night AA went on to defeat "Macho Man" Randy Savage for the Title! That night Garvin came up short; but tonight he has another chance to wear the gold in this Title bout.
Alexandra: The following Match is scheduled for one fall and is for the Eastern Heavyweight Championship! Introducing first from Montreal, Quebec, Canada weighing 231 lbs. he is "The Rugged One" Ron Garvin!
Garvin comes down the ramp looking determined and enters the ring where he shakes hands with referee S.D. Jones. Poffo calls this unfair being at one point last year Ron was tag-teaming with S.D.
Alexandra: And his opponent this evening from Rome, Georgia weighing in at 255 lbs. he is "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson!Eastern Heavyweight Title Match: Arn Anderson vs. Ron Garvin The bell rings ans Arn Anderson and Ron Garvin pace about the ring. These two men have squared off a number of times already here at ECW; but never have the stakes been so high. Finally Garvin breaks the ice and the two men lock up fighting for leverage. Eventually Arn catches Ronnie in a front headlock and draws first blood with a punch to the face. He follows him in and hits Garvin with several stiff punches driving him back into the ropes. "The Rugged One" however gets an opening and grabbing "The Enforcer" spins him around and begins punching him into the ropes. Anderson attempts to block but Garvin keeps hammering away wearing the Champ down and once he softens him up a bit he grabs Arn and hits him with a suplex! Garvin is looking to win it here and goes for a quick pin but doesn't even get a two. Keeping on top of Anderson Ron reaches down and grabs his head, but Anderson lets him have it clubbing him across the face before jumping to his feet and locking up with his challenger again. The two men shove one another about the ring until finally Garvin makes a move and takes Arn down with an armdrag. The Champ bounces back up to his feet, but only recovers in time to see Ron leaps on top of him with a headscissors takedown. On the floor Garvin doesn't let up holding "The Enforcer" at bay in the headscissors while Arn struggles to free himself. Despite Garvin's attempts at tearing off his head; Anderson refuses to submit and eventually squirms free. Getting to his feet the same time as Garvin, Arn lets him have it with a Flair-style chop. Then another before Ronnie fires back and the two men begin brawling about the ring until Ronni grabs Arn in a short-lived front headlock. Anderson forces Ronnie back into the ropes before whipping him across the ring. On the rebound Garvin has other plans however and drops Anderson with a shoulderblock. As Arn stumbles to his feet "Rugged" runs the ropes only to find himself flat on his back via an armdrag by Anderson. AA looks to follow this up with an elbow drop; but Garvin rolls out of the way. Still recovering first Anderson runs the ropes and comes at Garvin who hiptosses the Champ down to the mat. Garvin keeps hold of Arn's arm and drops down for a legscissors armbar! Arn attempts to roll free, but "The Rugged One" keeps on him and the two men roll about the ring with Anderson unable to escape! Anderson grits his teeth in pain and finally manages to free himself. Climbing on top of Garvin he lifts him to his feet in a front headlock and forcing him into the corner; Arn begins to work Ronnie over. After getting several free shots in; Garvin begins fighting back. The two men begin going punch for punch as Ronnie fights his way out of the corner, eventually driving Anderson into the corner where he uses the ropes to hit him with several jumping headbutts. He then begins chopping the Champ before pulling him from the corner and knocking him flat on his back in the center of the ring where he attempts a somersault pinning predicament! 1!... 2!...Arn kicks out! And right on top of him Ronnie catches AA in a front headlock applying pressure to his neck once again. Pulling him down however Arn reverses the hold into an armbar and getting to his feet puts the boots to Garvin! He then pulls Ronnie up to his feet and begins clubbing him as Garvin attempts to fight back. Finally he escapes with another headbutt that has Anderson reeling. Ronnie grabs the Champ and whips him across the ring into the turnbuckle hard. And a ol' AA staggers forward Garvin hits him with a big back drop! A jumping elbow drop to the downed Champ and Garvin makes the cover for another two. As Anderson attempts to get to his feet Ronnie grabs hold of him and begins clubbing his back. He doesn't let Arn go and keeps hammering away until Anderson pushes "Rugged" into the corner and nails him with a pair of shoulder thrusts. Back in control AA begins hammering on Ron in the corner. Garvin comes right back with a left handed punch that sends Anderson staggering back. He and Ronnie Garvin stare one another down for several tense seconds before locking up once again. Ron catches Arn in a side headlock and begins hitting him, but Anderson fires back with several shots to the side which loosen the hold and grabbing "The Rugged One" Anderson tosses him through the ropes to the floor below. Arn follows him out and he attempts to roll Ronnie back into the ring, but Garvin fights with him; and Anderson smashes his face on the apron. This pisses "Rugged" off and he attacks the Champ and the two men brawl about the ring until Arn busts Garvin's face over his knee knocking the challenger to the floor. The Champ then rolls back into the ring as the ref counts 6. Garvin climbs up onto the apron yelling at Anderson for throwing him out to the floor. Arn has had enough and punches him over the ropes. Ronnie fires back and the two men go at it until Arn hooks Ron's head and suplexes him into the ring. He makes the cover but doesn't quite get a two. Climbing on top of his opponent Arn begins punching Ronnie in the head trying to wear him out. Receiving a warning from the ref Anderson gets up and lifts Garvin to his feet. He hits him with a hard right and Ron retaliates in kind. The two men keep throwing punches with Arn hitting him with an occasional knee to the gut before hitting him with a sidewalk slam that gets him the two count. Staying on the ground Anderson grabs Ronnie in a headlock of his own and begins applying some pressure. Garvin screams in pain as AA attempts to get in ito submit but Garvin gets fired up and fights his way to his feet before letting Arn have it with an elbow to the gut. He begins hammering Anderson across the ring and drives him into the ropes where he whips him back across the ring and on the rebound takes him down with another back drop! Arn looks to be in trouble as Ronnie begins stomping about the ring. The crowd comes alive as he hammers home The Garvin Stomp on the Champ! Anderson is screaming in pain the whole way. Afterward Garvin grabs Arn by the legs and locks in the figure for leglock! Arn is screaming in pain. But he won't submit! He attempts to turn over to no avail. Garvin is keeping holding, but all of a suddent Anderson reverses it! He turns over and has Garvin in the reverse figure four! Ronnie is shrieking in pain but shaking his head. He isn't going to surrender! And he breaks free! Wobbly on his feet he grabs Arn's legs while he is still lying on his stomach. And he locks in the sharpshooter! Anderson is gonna submit! He can't get to the ropes when her uses the last of his reserves to flip Ronnie Garvin and down to the mat! Both men are down, but Garvin is up first. He lifts Anderson up to his knees and begins punching him when "The Enforcer" leaps up and catches his opponent with a sitout jawbreaker! Garvin drops like a sack of bricks; but Arn is unable to captalize. Shakily he gets back up to his feet in obvious pain and approaches Ronnie Garvin who is slowly dragging himself up off the mat. Arn pulls Garvin up and hits the DDT! 1!...2!...3! Arn retains! Arn retains!
Lights Fade.

4/11/94 - Grady Cole Center Charlotte, NC"Mean" Gene Okerlund and "The Genius" Lanny Poffo welcome us to the Grady Cole Center in Charlotte, North Carolina for another exciting edition of Eastern Championship Wrestling! They talk about last week's show focusing on Randy Savage's match with Mongo Vyle and Rhino's attack on Corino and Combs during it. They then begin discussing the amazing Main Event match which saw ECW Champion "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson successfully defend the belt against "Rugged" Ronnie Garvin when... Ronnie Garvin appears on the ramp? He heads down to the ring and takes the microphone from Lady Alexandra. He looks pissed off (how unusual) and says that before he gets started he'd like to congratulate "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson on his win here last week. But, and he knows how this is going to sound: it was a flawed win. In fact Garvin is going to go so far as to say he didn't win at all. Now don't get him wrong, it was one hell of a match. And had Arn actually won it he'd be giving him all the props in the world. But the fact of the matter is he didn't. And Ron's gonna prove it. Right now.
Garvin then signals to the big screen. After a moment of static we're taken back to last week's match. Ronnie Garvin is in the ring hammering away on the Champion Arn Anderson when AA surprises him with a sitout jawbreaker. Arn is slow to get up and Ronnie is already picking himself up off the mat and "The Enforcer" grabs him and lays Garvin out with a DDT! Arn makes the cover and S.D. Jones makes the count. AA has won it!
The crowd begins cheering Arn's win. Ronnie Garvin says that he isn't begrudging the Champ anything; but videotape don't lie. He then says that this is the tape from camera # 2. He plays the footage. Arn Anderson has just hit the jawbreaker and is slow to recover. He wobbles up to hia feet and helpts Ronnie Garvin up to his feet where he nails him with the DDT! He makes the cover and S.D. Jones drops to make the count. 1!...2!.. Garvin's got his foot up on the bottom rope! 3! Arn has won it! Arn has won it!
Ronnie Garvin then tells us as we clearly just saw the referee S.D. Jones missed the fact "The Rugged One" got his foot up on the rope. Therefore Arn Anderson didn't win anything last week. Now Ron isn't out here to whine or anything. He'll leave that to the likes of Jericho and his ilk, But what he does want is what he is owed. A rematch!"The Enforcer" Arn Anderson then appears on the ramp with the Eastern Heavyweight Championship around his waist. He says last week was one hell of a match and Ronnie Garvin deserves just as much credit for that as he does. He says theat Garvin is also right that videotape doesn't lie and having seen that footage he believes "The Rugged One" deserves another Title shot. And he as the Champ wants to see that happen. In three weeks. At ECW's next Big Event; Hardcore Heaven!Just then "White Train" by Tito & Tarantula hits and out swaggers ECW President Eric Bischoff. He stands next to Arn and adresses them both. He says that last week's match was one of the best he's seen and that he has no problem with granting them another match at Hardcore Heaven. However he has an added stipulation to make things a little more "Hardcore." So on May 2nd at Hardcore Heaven ECW Champion "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson will be facing "Rugged" Ronnie Garvin for the Title, in a Steel Cage!
Garvin looks more than ready for this, but AA looks a bit spooked by this news. Once they clear the ring Lady Alexandra introduces the opponents in the first match of the night.Match: The Blitzkreig vs. Sexton Hardcastle The Baron Von Raschke and his son Aryan are at ringside in this match officiated by Danny Davis. From the bell the Eastern States Champion The Blitzkrieg creams Sexton Hardcastle. He doesn't stand a chance and after getting battered for several minutes straight tries to leave the ring. Aryan however grabs him and rolls him back into the ring where The Blitkrieg grabs him and powerbombs him into the mat where he steps on him with one foot for the pin.
Afterward Von Raschke and Aryan enter the ring to celebrate with "Mangler's Monster" who assures us that tonight's Match is only a sneak preview of what we will witness at Hardcore Heaven when The Blitzkrieg decimates both Rick Rude and Rob Van Dam! After the break we hear from "The Superstar" Scott Taylor who tells ECW correspondent Terri Runnels that after last week "Captain Redneck" Dick Murdoch is damned lucky he has a match tonight. That most people would take him out anyway; but his mentor Arn Anderson has taught him to be better than that. That won't save Murdoch next week however. That Murdoch's bag of Cheap Tricks won't help him next week. Because next week he's gonna raise hell and make Ol' Dickie surrender. Ain't that a shame.Match: Erin O'Grady vs. B. Brian Blair "The Leprechaun" Erin O'Grady and "THE Killer Bee" B. Brian Blair put on a fast paced match with several nearfalls before O'Grady takes Blair out with his patented Lucky Charm lifting double underhook implant DDT to earn the three count from S.D. Jones. Afterward he places a gold coin on each of Blair's eyes.Match: Doug Gilbert vs. KAMA "The Redneck Rebel" Doug Gilbert gives KAMA a hard time and refuses to stay down until KAMA sneaks on the brass knuckles behind Danny Davis' back and delivers the knock out blow for the three count.Lanny and Gene welcome us back from the from the break before reminding us that next week ECW will be coming to us live from the North Charleston Coliseum in Charleston, South Carolina. Some tickes are still available; but for those folks not in the Charleston area they can catch the show right here as always on ECW's home station of TNN The Nashville Network.#1 Contender's Match for Women's Title: Beulah McGillicutty vs. Luna Vachon Beulah McGillicutty holds her own here and obviously wants the win getting nearfalls early on following a bulldog and later moonsault. Luna Vachon however kicks out of McGillicutty's finisher and comes back on fire dominating the former Champ during the second half of the match and demolishes Beulah with a snap suplex that she bridges to get her the three count from referee S.D. Jones. Afterwards she celebrates her win; making her the # 1 contender for the Women's Championship with Doink the Clown who's been watching from ringside. After the match Lawrence Taylor is in a pretaped segment with... Pete Rose?! He says that he realizes that Chris Jericho is a bit of a joke. And that he'll admit that segment last week was pretty funny; but when he gets in the ring with him it isn't going to be a laughing matter. See when "The Long Island Loud-Mouth" beat Pete Rose; a man twice his age: he had to use a bat. But in three weeks he's gonna face New York Giants linebacker Lawrence Taylor, a man who's proven time and again he's bigger, faster; and stronger than the competition. Pete Rose then says that he's looking forward to seeing Lawrence Taylor hand Jericho a sound beating at Hardcore Heaven on May 2nd. And he'd bet good money on Taylor walking away the Inter-Promotional Champion... if he did that sort of thing.Match: Rob Van Dam vs. Jeff Hardy These two men wow the fans with a high flying showcase in this match officiated by Danny Davis. Rob Van Dam Starts things off with a springboard crossbody and throughout the course of the match uses the monkey flip, Tiger feint kick, springboard moonsault and Rolling Thunder amongst a bevy of kicks. Jeff Hardy shocks the crowd when he kicks out of RVD's usual finisher the Rolling Thunder. During the match he gets a couple two counts on "Mr. Wednesday Night" with a sitout jawbreaker, a Whisper in the Wind; and his senton bomb off the top. After several pin attempts Rob Van Dam walks away with the win however following a 5-Star Frog Splash. We're then taken backstage where "Macho Man" Randy Savage with Steve Corino are talking to ECW correspondent Terri Runnels backstage. Randy is noticeably staring at her breasts and she has to repeat her question about the condition of Women's Champ Debbie Combs after being thrown by "The Man-Beast" Rhino last week. She is noticeably absent. He tells her that Debbie is fine but decided it'd be best to stay at home and rest. Yeah. "Macho Man" on the other hand never sits still for long. He's ever vigil and ever violent. Especially when one messes with what's his. Last week Rhino and "The Mauler" crossed a line. Dig it. When they laid hands upon "Hot Stuff" Debbie Combs they lit a fire. And Savage plans to extinguish it at Hardcore Heaven when he and Steve Corino destroy Destruction Inc. Something he's gonna make happen. Dig it. Oooooh yeah! Back from the break William Regal talks to ECW correspondent Terri Runnels about his winning streak here in Eastern Championship. He reminds us how since coming here he has still yet to be defeated and will continue to prove he's one of the best in the world. He says it's only a matter of time before he joins the very aristocracy here in ECW.Match: William Regal vs. Devon Hughes Devon Hughes who comes to the ring with his partner Spike Hughes gives some stiff competition to Lord William Regal who looks genuninely annoyed when Hughes hit him with his 360 degree corkscrew back elbow smash not once, but twice in a row. Regal gets a bit mean and tears into Devon toward the end before making him submit to referee S.D. Jones via the Regal Stretch.Okerlund and Poffo welcome us back from the last commercial break of the evening. They discuss how the winners of the Main Event tonight will go on to face the Tag-Team Champions The Lawlers at Hardcore Heaven! They are soon joined by both Jerry Lawler and his son Brian. The four men discuss who their favorite is to win it here. Brian would like to face the former Tag Champs The New Orient Express again while Jerry wouldn't mind getting his paws on Brickhouse Brown again; reminding us how as a member of The Dark Circle last year he cost him quite a bit of respect with the fans. Poffo defends Brickhouse in jest that he was possessed at the time and Jerry gives him a dirty look.
"Fucking Hostile" by Pantera then explodes across the arena as the first team in this Fatal four-way match heads down to the ring.
Alexandra: The following Match is a Fatal Four-Way Tag-Team Match scheduled for one fall. Introducing first way a combined 596 lbs. and accompanied to the ring by Takako Inoue they are the team of "The Man-Beast" Rhino and "The Machiavellan Mauler" Mongo Vyle; Destruction Inc.!
Rhino and Vyle storm the ring where they pose for the fans on the turnbuckles hands raised while Inoue talks with referee Danny Davis. The Kaientai Theme then plays.
Alexandra: And introducing their opponents this evening. Introducing first weighing a combined 397 lbs. and accompanied by their manager Mr. Fuji; from Tokyo, Japan they are The New Orient Express Taka Michinoku and "The Japanese Buzzsaw" Yoshihiro Tajiri!
Entering the ring it's obvious that there's still bad blood between The Express and Destruction Inc. who ended their first Title run on July 27th of last year. "Another One Bites the Dust" then plays as Murdoch comes out waving his cowboy hat while his partner JYD rattles his chain and barks at the crowd.
Alexandra: Now introducing at a combined 568 lbs. the team of Deeep South; "Captain Redneck" Dick Murdoch and the Junkyard Dog!
Deep South gained alot of love from the fans over the course of their feud with Rick Rude earlier in the year and receive a pretty good pop being the only face team in the four-way match. Finally "Fight the Power" by the Isley Brothers hits announcing the arrival of the final team.
Alexandra: And finally introducing at a combined weight of 532 lbs. they are the team of "Hacksaw" Butch Reed and "The Man of the Hour" Brickhouse Brown!Main Event # 1 Contender Tag-Team Fatal Four Way: Destruction Inc. vs. New Orient Express vs. Deep South vs. Brown & Reed After some debate Yoshihiro Tajiri starts things off with Junkyard Dog. The fans get behind JYD who takes a beating from the much quicker Tajiri in the early going. He makes a mistake however when he locks in the Tarantula. Dick Murdoch is there to make the save and running on the apron punts Yoshihiro in the back of the head. "The Japanese Buzzsaw" goes crashing to the mat and like a pack of jackals Destruction Inc. beat on him on the outside before rolling him back in. Junkyard meanwhile has recovered and puts the boots to Yoshihro before lifting him to the feet and laying him out with a suplex. He makes the cover but only gets a two before Butch Reed rushes in and breaks it up with a divin elbow. While Davis gets Reed to return to his corner Yoshihiro Tajiri leaps to make the tag to Taka Michinoku who warily enters the match. Destruction Inc. meanwhile rushes in and puts the boots to a recovering JYD but good ol' "Captain Redneck" isn't having it and rushes to his partner's aide. An all out brawl erupts which has Davis with alot of trouble get Mongo Vyle and Rhino to return to their corner. Taka Michinoku looks to make the quick cover on JYD, but Dick pulls him off and JYD gets back to his feet where he begins hammering on Michinoku like a punching bag. Together Deep South then nails him with a suplex before Davis catches up to them and order Murdoch back to his own corner. Ordered restored JYD makes the cover 1!...2!..Butch Reed and Brickhouse Brown storm back in and grabbing Junkyard by the head they faceplant him into the canvas! They then begin kicking JYD while Michinoku returns to his own corner to recuperate and consult with Mr. Fuji. Lifting the big man to his feet; Butch Reed drags Junkyard Dog to his own corner and forces him to tag in Brickhouse Brown. "The Man of the Hour" charges in to the Orient Express corner with a running clothesline, but Fuji lets him have before he gets there with a face full of cane! Brickhouse reells about clutching at his face while Taka Michinoku climbs the ropes and going airborne drops Brown with a missile dropkick! Before Taka can capitalize however Brickhouse makes the tag to Mongo Vyle! "The Machiavellan Mauler" is on fire and beats Taka from pillar to post before laying him flat with a lifting side slam! He makes the cover but Davis can't make the count as both Deep South and Brickhouse & Brown invade the ring! Everyone attacks everyone but it's the pissed off Mongo and his partner Rhino who end up clearing the ring systematically dumping Brown, The Dog, Murdoch; and Reed out of the ring with an impressive show of strength. The crowd gets behind Vyle who doesn't realize Michinoku has tagged Yoshihiro Tajiri back in! He's up on the top turnbuckle and as they turn about he leaps on them and connects with a double flying DDT! Both men are clutching their heads as Tajiri covers Vyle. 1!... 2!.... Mongo kicks out! Rhino has rolled from the ring as Vyle gets to his feet and begins stumbling about the ring. "The Japanese Buzzsaw" keeps up the attack with a barrage of kicks to The Mauler before he whips him across the ring! Butch Reed tags himself in as Tajiri runs across the ring and sends Mongo out to the floor with a huge dropkick! Yoshihiro doesn't even realize what's happened though as he is clubbed from behind by the much bigger Reed. Butch begins hammering on Tajiri's back as he tries to get up. Meanwhile on the outside Rhino helps Mongo Vyle to his feet. The big man is dazed and doesn't realize the trouble he's in as Randy Savage appears with Steve Corino! The two men charge Destruction Inc. and though they have the upper hand intitially, Rhino and Vyle are soon fighting back. Inside the ring Brickhouse Brown has been tagged in by Butch Reed. The two men whip Yoshihiro Tajiri across the ring and on the rebound nail him with a devastating double shoulder tackle! "The Buzzsaw" folds in half and Brickhouse makes the cover while "Hacksaw" nails the incoming Deep South with a double clothesline! Davis makes the count! 1!... Taka Michinoku leaps off the top turnbuckle to make the save! 2! Reed catches him in mid-air! 3! Butch hurls Michinoku from the ring with a gorilla press! Butch Reed and Brickhouse Brown are the number one contenders! They celebrate with a fist pound while Savage and Corino continue battling Destruction Inc. on the outside.
Lights Fade.

04/14/95 - North Carolina"Here I Am Rocking Like a Hurricane" by The Scorpions plays as "Rock 'N Roll" Buck Zumhoff appears on the set of a brightly colored talk show set with a Rock 'N Roll/Wrestling theme. He boogies his way out and high fives several cheering kids and their parents before getting on the stage before them. He then introduces himself as AWA Legend and current Lightweight Champion; and wrestling's one and only true "Rock 'N Roller" Buck Zumhoff!'He then welcomes everyone to the another episode of Slammin' Saturdays season 2! He says he has a very exciting show lined up for all the little "Rock 'N Rollers" out there! He has the new ECW Light Heavyweight title about his waist and reminds us how he won it last week. He'd like to take this time to thank all his fans for their support, because he couldn't have done it without all of Buckamania behind him.He then heads over to the broadcast booth where he introduces his co-host "Captain" Lou Albano! Albano questions the term "Buckamania?" before telling him that hell must've surely frozen over if a no-talent hack like Zumhoff can first get a show and now has a Champioship belt to boot. "Rock'N Roll" tells him he's just jealous because in 20 years future world Champions will still be talking about him while Albano will be long forgotten. The Captain tells him he should get those delusions checked out.Joel Gertner handles the intros.Steve Blackman vs. Michelle Starr Albano is excited about the first match where his charge "The Silent Assassin" takes to the ring and puts on a martial arts display with his kendo sticks. The Captain talks Blackman up about being a future world Champion and Buck asks him who's delusional now? Once Michele Starr enters the ring Danny Davis starts the match and "The Gorgeous One" immediately is up to his old tricks trying to make Steve Blackman uncomfortable. He gets some offense in as well; but Steve Blackman mostly dominates Starr and then ends him with a bicycle kick."The Machiavellan Mauler" Mongo Vyle is standing by to tell us. Voilà ! In view, a humble vaudevillian veteran cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of Fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is a vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished. However, this valorous visitation of a bygone vexation stands vivified and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin vanguarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition! The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta held as a votive, not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous. [laughs] Verily, this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose, so let me simply add that it's my very good honour to meet you and you may call me Vyle. Mongo Vyle. After he finishes Rob Van Dam walks in with a chair which he asks for Vyle to hold. Mongo takes it and "Mr. Wednesday Night" asks him "Dude, you know what else the letter V stands for?" Vyle gives him a quizzical look and Van Dam leaps up and spinning wheel kicks the chair into Mongo' Face! RVD then looks into the camera, smiles; and says "The Van Daminator."
Before the next match Buck Zumhoff and Captain Lou Albano discuss how it's a number one contender's match for Buck's Light Heavyweight Championship between the two men Zumhoff didn't pin last week. Albano says that it doesn't matter which man wins; because on next week's show "Rock 'N Roll" had better be prepared to lose his Title.Light Heavyweight Title # 1 Contender's Match: Erin O'Grady vs. Jeff Hardy After throwing chocolate candy "coins" to the kids, "The Leprechain" Erin O'Grady gives Jeff Hardy one hell of a fight before Jeff lands the high-angle senton bomb off the top and puts him out for the three count from referee Danny Davis. Back from break Devon Hughes is in the Hughes Mobile with Spike J. Hughes who is at the wheel. Lights are flashing and soon a Highway Patrolman Lt. James Earl Wright shows up at the window. He tells Spike that his license is currently under suspension and asks him to step out of the car please. The Hughes Brothers look at one another before Spike hits the gas! Wright runs back to his squad car and is soon in hot pursuit of the Brothers. Inside the car as they speed away Devon complains about how Spike all their money on this car, then he made them late for their match tonight; and now he is going to land them both in jail. Spike responds that they aren't going to get caught. They're on a mission from God. What follows is the exact car chase scene from The Blues Brothers, but with Devon & Spike subbing for Belushi & Akroyd. When they crash through the Toys R Us there's a kid standing in front of a wall full of WWF figures asking the sales associate for ECW figures; to which she replies "Sorry. Those sold out."DIXIE SQUARE -- The Blues Brothers: "A Mall with Everything"After the vignette Captain Lou Albano says that he doesn't understand why Bischoff keeps those two losers employed. They're late for their match. Again. Buck Zumhoff says he likes them however. And says they even remind him a little of himself. The Captain says he can understand that; with Zumhoff being a jailbird too. They then begin talking about the Wiseguys who're already in the ring. Buck says that the "Wise"guys sound like a good team for Lanny Poffo to manage; but Albano corrects him. Poffo isn't just wise Dumbhoff. He's a frickin' Genius! Just then both men are started as Devon and Spike's Hughes Moblie comes crashing through the set! Stepping out of the car and walking through the debris Spike tells Buck "Sorry about that" as "Jalilhouse Rock" by The Blues Brothers begins to play. The Hughes Brothers vs. The Wiseguys (Jimmy Cicero & Guido Falcone) The Wise Guys give The Hughes Brothers a tough match with Jimmy Cicero starting things off with little Spike Hughes. The two men give one another one hell of a beating that leads to them both making the hot tag to Devon Hughes and Guido Falcone. Falcone gets the drop on Devon early on, but when police lights begin flashing from the hole in the wall created by their car, Devon gets fired up and whips Falcone across the ring taking him down with the 360 degree corkscrew back elbow smash. He dominates him for the remainder of the match and when Lt. James Earl Wright shows up in the arena with several other police officers; he quickly puts Guido down in the canvas with a spinebuster before tagging in Spike Hughes who goes up top and hits the diving double foot stomp! He makes the cover and gets the three count from Davis just seconds before Parker and the other state troopers rush the ring! The Hughes Brothers bolt out of the ring and through the crowd of kids whom they high five on their way out of the arena! Good riddance says Albano.
Buck Zumhoff wishes the Hughes Brothers good luck before saying that he knows these kids like Wrestling; but do they love Rock'N Roll as much as "The Rock 'N Roller" Buck Zumhoff himself? He then sends us to a music video he's sure Spike and Devon would approve, Little Richard with "Good Golly Miss Molly!"Little Richard - Good Golly Miss MollyFinally Buck Zumhoff says that time is almost up for this week's show and that it's now time for Slammin' Saturdays Main Event feature; the Wrestling Rewind. He says that this week's Rewind is from back on July 13th of last year in which a certain "Rock 'N Roller" went up against "The Ravishing One" Rick Rude!7/13/94 Main Event: Rick Rude vs. Buck Zumhoff Davis begins the match as Rick Rude and Buck Zumhoff lock up. The two men fight for leverage and after winning the contest of strength decisively; Rude takes Zumhoff down via a snapmare and drops his knee down onto the shoulder of his opponent. Lifting him up to his feet, "The Ravishing One" looks to hit a suplex when Buck wiggles freee and drops to safety behind Rick where he takes his down with a shoulder tackle to the back of his leg. Keeping him on the floor Zumhoff locks in a headlock on Rude that has him screaming in pain until Rick battles back first with a somewhat effective elbow to his opponent's gut before fighting his way up to one knee. And then his feet. Scooping Buck up as he struggles to keep Rick down; Rude hits a back bodydrop and goes for the pin getting a two count. Picking Buck up he works over his head and back before Irish whipping "Rock 'N Roll" across the ring. On the rebound however Zumhoff connects with a flying clothesline that looks to have taken Rude's head clean off. Making the cover he gets a two count. Staying with Rude, Buck punches him as he gets up to one knee and the two men trade blows until they're both standing in the middle of the ring going punch for punch. Seeing he's on the losing end of the situation now; Zumhoff gets in close and takes Rick down with a side Russian legsweep. Then running to the ropes delivers a dropkick on "The Ravishing One" as he regains his footing and sends him stumbling back into the ropes. When he goes to whip Rude however he finds himself pulled in and hit with a clothesline of Rude's own before Rick Rude pulls Buck Zumhoff and nails The Rude Awakening for the win. He then walks over to Beulah and reaches for the microphone which she gives him. Rude stands in the middle of the ring as the crowd starts a "Rick Rude sucks" chant. He replies with four words. "Macho Man" Randy Savage. He then says that he wants Savage to get his ass out here right now. He goes on to say that he knows why Randy did what he did to him last week. But that doesn't mean he has to like it. He says that he realizes that it sounds silly. But he doesn't remember the attack on Savage and Anderson at all. Not that that's an excuse. Because he'd love to give "The Macho Man" a beating. In fact he's kind of sad that he doesn't remember it. And therefore he wants a match with "the World Chump" to refresh his memory. Pomp and Circumstance then hits as "Macho Man" Randy Savage emerges from the back with Debbie Combs.Savage tells Rude that he doesn't buy the story him and his little pals are spinning. That he doesn't believe in any of that hoodoo nonsense and last he checked Rude didn't either. And he thinks that they sided with Papa Shango for one reason and one reason only. Yeah. To soften up the "Mach Man." Ya dig. And that now he wants a match; but Randy ain't playing their games. Rick Rude wants a match? He'd better earn it. And until he does he'd better just keep out of Savage's way. Dig. Cause he's gonna hurt Rude. Retire him. Put the big ol' diving elbow kibash on "The Ravishing One" if he don't smarten up and to tell his pal Shango that if he wants to be put down 1,2 3 yet again; to be ready for another ass-whoopin'. Oooh yeah.
Lights Fade.

04/18/95 - North Charleston Coliseum North Charleston, SC"Mean" Gene Okerlund and "The Genius" Lanny Poffo welcome us to another exciting edition of Eastern Championship Wrestling! Tonight they're coming to us live from the North Charleston Coliseum in North Charleston, South Carolina, ECW's first show in the state; continuing their goal to conquer the entire East Coast this year. They talk about last week's show which saw the team of Butch Reed and Brickhouse Brown win a tag-team Fatal Four-Way that got totally out of control when "Macho Man" Randy Savage and his protegee Steve Corino attacked Destruction Inc. on the outside during the match. Brown and Reed walked out of the Grady Cole Center the # 1 contenders for the Tag-Team Titles while earlier in the show "Mad Dog" Luna Vachon defeated Beulah McGillicutty to become the # 1 contender for the Women's Championship. Both those matches have been scheduled to take place at ECW's next big event Hardcore Heaven right here on TNN The Nashville Network on May 2nd! They then hype tonight's show which will see ECW Champion "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson battle Brian Lawler in the Main Event.Lady Alexandra then makes the intros for the first match of the night.Match: Debbie Combs vs. Velvet McIntyre Women's Champ "Hot Stuff" Debbie Combs comes out to the the ring with a leg brace on because of the assault on her at the hands of Rhino. "Macho Man" Randy Savage is by her side and is keeping a look out for trouble. Once Velvet McIntyre is in the ring S.D. Jones starts up the match and McIntyre concenrates on the Champ's injured leg. "Hot Stuff" holds her own however and when Velvet hoists her up onto the top tunbuckle; Debbie Combs surprises her with a sunset flip off the top for the win. After the match the Women's Champ is approached by ECW correspondent Terri Runnels who asks her how she feels about facing "Mad Dog" Luna Vachon at Hardcore Heaven with the Title on the line. She says Vachon is a tough competitor and under normal circumstances she'd welcome the challenge. However with her leg in the condition it's in thanks to those two bastards in Destruction Inc.; she's a bit leery about it. Still she's not one to back down from a fight and will see Luna on May 2nd.After the break we're taken backstage where "The Superstar" Scott Taylor is pissed off while talking to ECW President Eric Bischoff who explains that his opponent for tonight "Captain Redneck" Dick Murdoch called in earlier today and said he can't compete because he has the flu. Taylor says he's more likely to have a case of chickenshititis. He says that Murdoch is just ducking him because he knows he's getting old and that he knows deep down that he can't beat someone in their prime like "The Superstar." Match: Junkyard Dog vs. B. Brian Blair Murdoch's tag-team the Junkyard Dog is here tonight however and in this match officiated by Danny Davis he has some nice back and forth with "THE Killer Bee" B. Brian Blair whom he eventually takes out with a vicious heabutt followed by the Thump! powerslam for the hard fought win. When ECW returns from break we're in the office of ECW President Eric Bischoff when suddenly the door bursts open and in pours the "Macho Man" Randy Savage! Randy is annoyed. Annoyed with Bischoff because he couldn't follow a simple command. A simple order to re-sign his protegee Steve Corino for a match at Hardcore Heaven! Dig it.
Eric Bischoff is startled but holds his ground. He says he quite enjoyed firing Steve Corino, the so-called "Saviour of Sea Isle City." He says if Randy wants to keep using him as a valet that's one thing; but Eric putting that punk kid back on the active roster is quite another.
Randy Savage leans over Bischoff's desk causing him to back into the wall startling himself. He says that the other day. On the phone. He got a call. Yeah. Guess who from? WCW that's who. They wanted the "Macho Man" to come. Wanted the "Macho Man" to leave this pigeon-hole; their words; Eastern Championship wrestling. But did "Macho man" go? Oh no! Savage stayed. They offered him a fine contract. Big money. Wanted "Macho Man" to come in. Conquer. Knock Ric Flair down on his profile. But did Savage leave? No! So what's Bischoff gonna do? He's gonna get out a piece of paper. Dig. He's gonna write out a nice little contract. Dig. And he's gonna re-sign Steve Corino so he could team up with the "Macho Man" Randy Savage against Destruction Inc. at Hardcore Heaven! Ooooh yeah! Bischoff looks like he swallowed his gum.
We're then taken back to ringside where "Mean" Gene and Lanny discuss what we just witnessed. Okerlund hopes that Eric sticks to his guns for once and doesn't rehire Steve Corino whom he says has no respect and even less character. Poffo on the otherhand doesn't see what the big deal is. It's just a match at Headcore Heaven. Not a Title shot.Match: Sexton Hardcastle vs. KAMA S.D. Jones starts the match and the rookie Sexton Hardcastle gives it his all against KAMA which doesn't amount to much. He ends up getting Hardcastle to submit using the STF.Okerlund and Lanny welcome us back from the break before reminding us that next week ECW will be coming to us live from the Myrtle Beach Convention Center in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and that while tickets for the show are now sold out; those folks at home can catch it right here on Eastern Championship's home station of TNN The Nashville Network!"White Train" by Tito & Tarantula then hits and out swaggers ECW President Eric Bischoff. He asks the crowd if they're excited to be here tonight at ECW's first show in South Carolina! Once the cheering dies down he asks if they're excited for Hardcore Heaven on May 2nd! He then goes on to tell us how this new hardcore style of wrestling is taking the wrestling industry by storm and that ECW isn't one to fall behind on the times which is why at Hardcore Heaven there's going to be a 15-Man Hardcore Invitational Battle Royal!
Half of the men participating in this match will be from ECW's very own roster while the other half will be men from various other promotions who wanted a shot to compete here in Eastern Championship Wrestling. Because if one of the surprise entrants of this Battle Royal win they will earn themselves an ECW contract! And Eric apologizes in advance because when he says surprise entrants he means it. These men who will appear here on May 2nd may in fact be putting their very jobs on the line just for showing up! But he promises that his phone has been ringing off the hook with some of the best talent in the industry just dying for a spot in this match. With that said Eric Bischoff is a businessman and he knows that giving out an occasional free sample is good for business. So what we will witness next is a little Hardcore teaser Battle Match. And to make things interesting it will feature a competitor who is so crazy he doesn't care if he loses his job and will not only appear at Hardcore Heaven in the Battle Royal; but also in a Hardcore Fatal Four-Way here tonight! He is Memphis X-Treme Pro Wrestling's own hardcore icon; "The Beast" Glen Osbourne!
Glen Osbourne comes out looking fierce swinging a chain above his head. Inside the middle of the ring are two garbage cans full of weapons and the competitors in tonight's match; Spike Hughes, Shane Helms; and "Mr. Wednesday Night" Rob Van Dam!Hardcore Fatal Four-Way: Glen Osbourne vs. Spike Hughes vs. Shane Helms vs. Rob Van Dam At the start of the match Spike Hughes, Shane Helms; and Rob Van Dam run in to grab a weapon but are immediately driven back by the monstrous Glen Osbourne who swings his chain over his head like a lasso. Poor Danny Davis nearly takes a hit to the head as well and gets his ass out of the ring in a hurry. "Mr. Wednesday Night" then signals to the others and they slide from the ring where they confer for a while before they split up. Hughes and Helms get back in the ring and Shane takes a smack to the face with the chain before Glen Osbourne grabs him and throws him into the corner where he pounds and then stomps him into the mat. Suddenly Osbourne is alerted to the fact something is wrong as the crowd begins to chair and he turns in time to receive the very first Van Terminator corner to corner missile dropkick as RVD plants a steel chair into his face. He goes down hard and Rob makes the cover; but Spike Dudley runs the ropes and lands a springboard diving double foot to the back of Van Dam! He rolls off in pain only to be replaced by little Spike who makes the cover. 1!....2!.. Osbourne powers out hurling Spike up into the air! Glen immediately gets up to his feet and lets Hughes have it with a knee drop to the head before he removes the first weapon from the garbage cans. And it's a kendo stick! He turns and sees Rob Van Dam charging at him just in time to catch him in the face with the stick. He then hammers it into the back of Spike Hughes who is no longer up on all fours and growls menacingly at the audience! He doesn't see that Shane Helms has re-entered the ring however and catches a dropkick to the back from the young rookie and falls forward into the ropes dropping his kendo stick. Shane picks it up and begins beating on Osbourne until the Kendo stick breaks and the big man rolls from the ring. Shane Helms signals for something and running back into the ropes he charges across the rings and leaps over the top rope to land a somersault plancha onto Osbourne just as he gets back to his feet! Both men crash to the ground hard while on the inside Spike Hughes has lifted Rob Van Dam to his feet and begins hammering on his head and back with fists and clubbing elbows. He then whips Rob across the ring right into the garbage cans knocking them everywhere! Van Dam takes a bad tumble and lands on some thumbtacks which have spilled out. Undeterred by this Spike grabs a bat from the wreckage and begins wrapping barbed wire about it. He's smiling wickedly and looks to be up to no good when Rob pops up with a kick that snaps the barbed bat back into Spike's face busting him open! Blood spills onto the canvas while on the outside Glen Osbourne is manhandling Shane Helms whom he lifts up and delivers a backbreaker to on the steel guardrail! Helms tumbles over the rail and into the audience and Osbourne turns his attention back to the ring. Inside Rob Van Dam looks concerned for Spike Hughes who is rolling on the floor clutching his face. When Van Dam goes to help him up however Spike rakes his eyes! He then elbows him in the side of the head before dragging him down to the mat into a side headlock. He grabs a handful of thumbtacks and begins grinding them into Rob's face as he screams in pain! Glen Osbourne has climbed back inside and seems to like what's going on, nodding his head approvingly. This doesn't stop him from scooping up a garbaged can and letting Spike have it, cracking it over his skull! Hughes goes limb and hits the floor as Glen Osbourne grabs Rob by the ponytail and pulls him to his feet. He begins hammering on Van Dam driving him back across the ring and whips him across the ring. Rob hits the ropes and on the rebound slides through Glen's legs surprising him. Rolling out "Mr. Wednesday Night" leaps up to the second rope for a springboard crossbody back onto Osbourne! But "The Beast" catches him in mid-air and turning about powerbombs him onto the steel garbage can full of weapons! RVD goes limp as Osbourne makes the cover. 1!...2!...3! Osbourne has won it!
Lanny Poffo loves the brutality and carnage we just witnessed; but Okerlund seems completely turned off by it. "The Genius" predicts Osbourne will go on to win the 15-Man Hardcore Invitational Battle Royal come May 2nd at Hardcote Heaven. We're then taken backstage where KAMA approaches the team of Brickhouse Brown and Butch Reed. He congratulates them on becoming the number one contender's for the Hardcore Heaven and wishes them luck; which Brown claims they aren't going to need. KAMA then puts over his own win tonight over Sexton Hardcastle and asks if they saw it. He suggests that being all three of them are winners they should form a stable. Brickhouse scoffs and asks if he's nuts saying he wants to hook up with them. Butch however silences Brown and tells KAMA that they've been looking for certain... colorful personalities to form a stable. That in this business people like them? They need to stick together. And that he'd be willing to let KAMA join them; but first they've gotta do something for them. Take care of a little probably they're having. KAMA says he's willing to do whatever they need and Butch nods off camera. The camera pans toward...Devon Hughes who's strapping up his boots while talking to his tag-team partner Spike Hughes about how sick little Spike looked out there tonight. Devon is proud of him. Butch Reed tells KAMA if he takes care of them two for them he's in. KAMA tells Reed it's as good as done and takes off. Once he's out of earshot Brickhouse Brown says that it'd better be.Back from the break "Mean" Gene Okerlund discusses Butch Reed's influence over Brickhouse Brown. Poffo says that it seems Brown is a little too easily "influenced" into doing the wrong thing. He's just one bad mother.Match: Devon Hughes vs. Rhino Devon Hughes and "The Man-Beast" Rhino give each other one hell of a beating in this match officiated by S.D. Jones. All hell breaks lose however when there's a disturbance at ringside! Rhino immediately gets spooked and begins looking over his shoulder for Savage and Corino; but is relieved to see it's only KAMA who has attacked little Spike Hughes at ringside! KAMA easily busts open Spike's wound from the Hardcore match before the break and he goes down hard. This is stil just enough distraction however for Devon Hughes to capitalize and whip Rhino across the ring and nail him with a snap scoop powerslam pin! 1!... 2!... Devon sees KAMA digging the boots into Spike and rushes out of the ring! He begins fighting KAMA on the outside while Rhino sits up, rubs his head; and seems to settle for a victory by Count Out.After the break we see "The Superstar" Scott Taylor searching for "Captain Redneck" Dick Murdock. He asks Doug Gilbert, Tiffany; and finally Doink the Clown who is with "Mad Dog" Luna Vachon. Doink tells him he thinks he saw Murdoch hit the bathroom earlier. When Taylor looks in and calls out to "Redneck" he is assaulted from behind! We soon see it's Dick Murdoch himself! He has blindsided Taylor and calls him a no-talent punk as he kicks him while he's down before taking the bathroom door and slamming Scott's head with it! Taylor cries out in pain while Doink watching laughing maniacally while watching the assault which seems to almost be turning Luna on. After hitting him with the door Dick wipes sweat from his forward and asks "what the hell're you two freaks looking at?!" before pushing past them.Back from the break "Thunderkiss '65" by White Zombie is playing as "The Long Island Loud-Mouth" Chris Jericho swaggers about the ring dangling his Title from his right hand. The fans are booing him but he tells them to stop cheering anyway. Can't they see the Inter-Promotional Champion has something to say damn it?! Now what the IP Champ wants to tell us all is that he's heard the gossip! He's heard the lies! That for some fool reason they don't think Chris Jericho is big enough, strong enough; or talented enough to defeat that has-been football player Lawrence Taylor! Hell the big oaf was in this here ring just last week spouting the same diatribe. But if Chris Jericho is so damned untalented; then why does he have this?! He raises the Title into the air and then lowers it to his face for a kiss. He goes on to tell us that nobody seems to realize is that Chris has been preparing for this. Jericho has been training hard. And at Hardcore Heaven the reigning Inter-Promotional Champion shall conquer! He then points the microphone toward the big screen. We're taken to a video where Chris Jericho is approached by "The Diabolical One" Mr. Fuji. He tells Jericho they must talk. He tells Jericho that "Step on football field. If run right side, safe. If run left side, safe. But run into Lawrence Taylor?" He holds up a fortune cookie and crushes it in his fist. "Sooner or later, crushed like fortune cookie. Here wrestling ring. Same thing. Either westling do yes or wrestling do no. You wrestling do guess so. Crush. Just like fortune cookie. Understand?"
"What?!" responds Chris. Fuji nods affirmatively and asks him if he's now ready. Chris looks baffled, but says "Sure whatever." "First make sacred pact" The Diabolical One continues. "I promise teach defeat Lawrence Taylor. That my part. You promise learn. I say, you do. No question. That your part. Deal?" Chris looks puzzled but amused and says "Deal." He extends his hand but Fuji doesn't take it. Instead he crouches down and we see a bucket of water from which he produces a sponge. The camera pans back and we see they're standing in a car lot. "First you wash all the car" Fuji instructs. "Then wax. Wax." "I ain't-" Jericho begins but is hushed by Fuji who hits him with his cane. "Remember deal. No question. Wax on right hand. Wax off left hand. Wax on. Wax off. Breathe in through nose. Out the mouth. Wax on. Wax off. Don't forget to breathe. Very imporant. Fuji exits with and repeats "Wax on. Wax off. Chris is left alone with the cars.Joe Esposito - YOU'RE THE BEST AROUND"You're the Best Around" by Joe Esposito plays as a montage begins. Jericho reluctantly starts washing the cars. It's night time and Fuji comes to check on Jericho who's asleep over one of the hoods. Next we see Mr. Fuji teaching Jericho to sand a deck, then paint his fence. We then see Jericho walk up to his house and there's a sign waiting for him that says "Paint house." Fuji looks on approvingly as Jericho finishes with the house. We next see the duo sparring.
As the lyrics switch to the chorus of "You're the Best" we see Chris Jericho on his first night in ECW throwing Erin O'Grady's coins in his face followed by him pinning him with the springboard moonsault. Back to Jericho and Fuji sparring then we see him in the ring giving the double Garvin Stomp to Ronnie Garvin at Hotter than Hell. We then see Mr. Fuji teaching Jericho to catch a fly with chop sticks; but a frustrated Chris pulls out a fly swatter and kills it dead causing Fuji to shake his head. This is followed by Jericho's match on 11/9 where he mocks Savage before hitting a Flying Elbow Drop on Devon Hughes. We the see Fuji fishing in a boat while Chris Jericho stands on the boat practicing karate before Fuji rocks the boat and dumps Chris into the water. This is followed by Jericho pinning Brian Pillman to "win" the Super J Cup Tournament. FINALLY we see Jericho at the beach balancing on a pillar while against the sunset, then Chris with Pete Rose locked into the elevated Boston Crab tapping out. The video ends with Jericho on the pillar giving a crane kick.
After the video Okerlund calls Jericho a jerk and says he hopes he gets serious in time for Hardcore Heaven or we'll be looking at a massacre. Lanny however says that Chris Jericho is taking his match with Lawrence Taylor dead serious taking lessons from the venerable Mr. Fuji, whom he puts over as a living legend."Ich tu der weh" by Rammstein hits the arena and The Baron Von Raschke leads his son Aryan and his charge The Blitzkrieg, the latter of which has the Eastern Championship thrown over his shoulder down the ramp.Tag-Team Match: Blitzkrieg & Aryan vs. The Hardy Boyz Danny Davis begins the match and Aryan starts things off with Jeff Hardy. There's good back and forth between the two until Jeff Hardy gets the drop on Aryan and going up top leaps off the turnbuckle looking for the high-angle senton bomb. Von Raschke's boy gets his knee up just in time however and drives them hard into Hardy's back. Back on his feet Aryan nails him with the Shining Wizard and makes the cover. 1!... 2!... Matt Hardy comes off the top and breaks the count with a legdrop! While Aryan rolls about on the floor Matt returns to their corner where Jeff tags him in. Matt Hardy keeps Aryan down and with his brother Jeff they keep him in their corner working him over; but eventually the momentum shifts and Aryan looks to hit Matt with a surprise German Suplex! Instead Hardy hammers his elbow into his back and retaliates with the Twist of Fate cutter! Aryan hits the ground hard but before Matt can make the cover The Blitzkrieg rushes into the ring! Jeff Hardy comes to his brothers aide; but "Mangler's Monster" is too much for him and dumps him out of the ring with a clothesline! He then catches Matt Hardy by the throat and delivers a vicious chokeslam! Davis wants him out of the ring, but the damage is done and Aryan makes the cover getting the three count.
After the match The Baron Von Raschke enters the ring and gets on the mic. He warns Eastern Championship Wrestling as a whole that The Blitzkrieg claiming the Eastern States Championship for the Republic of Germany is but the beginning! His stable is looking to expand their iron grip on this federation and they're looking at the Tag-Team Titles next. And he doesn't care if it's those inbred hicks The Lawlers or them two boys Reed and Brown who hold them after Hardcore Heaven. Because nobody is safe from the threat of the Aryan Nation!"Mean" Gene and Lanny welcome us back from the break and Okerlund apologizes again for the rhetoric of the Baron von Raschke. They then hype tonight's Main Event which will see "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson take on second generation superstar Brian Lawler who is currently one half of the Tag-Team Champions with his father Jerry "The King" Lawler. We're then taken backstage where we see ECW Champion "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson walking down the hall with the Title about his waist ready for his match. He is approached by ECW correspondent Terri Runnels who'd like to get a word with him about the announcement last week that his match at Hardcore Heaven for the Title with "Rugged" Ronnie Garvin would be a Steel Cage match. She says that many people say he looked spooked by the announcement.
Arn Anderson says that people say alot of things. Spooked though? He'll admit he's a little weary. You see last year on March 9th Arn was in the ring with "Macho Man" Randy Savage. In a steel cage. And he's not gonna lie. Savage nearly ended his career in there. But he scraped by, came back; and now "The Enforcer" is wearing the gold. But everyone in this business knows a Steel Cage match is one of the most dangerous events in a wrestler's career. Anything can happen in there. And anything will happen in there. So it's good to be a little cautious. But all AA can guarantee us is that on May 2nd at Hardcore Heaven he WILL be stepping in that ring. All fear aside. And he WILL give it his all in there. And he's gonna give it his all to walk out of there that night still the Eastern Heavyweight Champion. You can bet on that.
We're then taken back to ringside where Okerlund puts Arn Anderson over as a fighting Champion and one of the very best in the business. Poffo just can't wait to see ECW's next Big Event; Hardcore Heaven. The Bill Conti Overture then plays.
Alexandra: The following non-Title Match is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first from Memphis, Tennessee weighing 213 lbs.; he is one-half of the Eastern Tag-Team Champions; Brian Lawler!
Brian enters the ring and poses with his Championship before handing it over to referee S.D. Jones.
Alexandra: And introducing his opponent this evening from Rome, Georgia weighing in at 255 lbs.; he is the Eastern Heavyweight Champion; "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson!Main Event: Arn Anderson vs. Brian Lawler Arn Anderson locks up with Brian Lawler as S.D. Jones begins the match. The younger Lawler gives the ECW Champion one hell of a fight; even hitting AA with a full nelson facebuster at one point that gets him a two count. Halfway through the match however Anderson begins taking over and works on Brian's right leg. Anderson is in full control by the time Brian Lawler goes for a desperation superkick which Arn dodges and grabbing his opponent's leg pulls him down to the mat where he locks in the figure four leglock! Brian screams in pain and unable to reach the ropes taps out within a minute; giving the win to Arn via Submission.

04/21/95 - South Carolina"Here I Am Rocking Like a Hurricane" by The Scorpions plays as "Rock 'N Roll" Buck Zumhoff appears on the set of a brightly colored talk show set with a Rock 'N Roll/Wrestling theme. He boogies his way out and high fives several cheering kids and their parents before getting on the stage before them. He then introduces himself as AWA Legend and current ECW Lightweight Champion; and wrestling's one and only true "Rock 'N Roller" Buck Zumhoff!'He then welcomes everyone to the another episode of Slammin' Saturdays season 2! He says he has a very exciting show lined up for all the little "Rock 'N Rollers" out there! He has the new ECW Light Heavyweight title about his waist tells us that today he "Rock 'N Roll" Buck Zumhoff will have his first Title defense against the self-professed Sultan of X-Treme, Jeff Hardy. He then heads over to the broadcast booth where he introduces his co-host "Captain" Lou Albano! Albano laughs at Zumhoff whom he claims will be in his element in his match tonight. Beating up on a punk kid that's still in High School.
Joel Gertner handles the intros.Doug Gilbert vs. EZ Money EZ Money gives "The Redneck Rebel" a decent fight in this match officiated by Dannys Davis, getting a two count after knocking the wind out of Gilbert with the Afterburner handspring back elbow. When EZ goes to lift his opponent back to his feet, Doug Gilbert hits him with a thumb to the eye which goes unnoticed by the ref. As Money reels in pain Doug uses a back rake which gets him a warning. The damage is done however and Doug Gilbert mostly dominates the remainder of the match before hitting EZ Money with the Hot Shot flapjack dropped into a hangman which gets him the win."The Genius" Lanny Poffo informs us that the letter W stands for Wrestling. Duh.William Regal vs. Sgt. Craig Pittman Before the match Regal gets on the mic and tells us that more importantly the letter W stands for everyone's favorite British wrestler, William Regal! But he's not surprised an oafish American like Lanny Poffo would forget this.
William Regal and Sgt. Craig Pittman duke it out in what becomes a battle between the Regal Stretch arm trap cross-legged STF and the Code Red armbar. The kids get really into the USA chant and cheer on Pittman as he traps Sir William in the Code Red! Regal however battles his way out and is booed mercilessly by the grade schoolers as he goes on to put the good Sergeant down with the Regal Stretch. After the break we here The Scopions "Rock You Like a Hurricane" as we the the backview if Buck Zumhoff in front of the ECW banner with "Mean" Gene Okerlund standing by.
Okerlund says that over the last couple weeks it's been very difficult to introduce this man without mentioning he's the Eastern Light Heavyweight Champion. "Rock 'N Roll" Buck Zumhoff you have the opportunity to once again defend your new Title. Zumhoff turns theatrically toward Gene and tells him that it's been a long road. That the little Buckamaniacs have been waiting and waiting for their hero, the one, the only, the immortal "Rock 'N Roll" Buck Zumhoff to win the Championship gold brother. And now that he's got it Buckamania is running wild. Everywhere he goes, he's rockin 'n rollin all over the arena. And it isn't about to stop now. Oh no brother. Jeff Hardy isn't man enough to put an end to Buckamania. Cause Buckamania is gonna live forever. So Jeff Hardy shouldn't be worried about winning the Light Heavyweight Title here tonight. No. All Jeff Hardy, Erin O'Grady, Brian Lawler and the rest should be thinking about; is what's they're gonna do when Buckamania runs wild on you! Joel Gertner has joined "Captain" Lou Albano in the commentating booth. Albano looks speechless after witnessing Buck's promo and Gertner has to snap him out of it by splashing a glass of water in his face. Lou thanks Gertner saying that he must've just witnessed something so horrible, he can't even remember it. He then points out Joel's Hawaiin shirt and says that it's about time they sent someone with a sense of style to work with him for once.Light Heavyweight Title Match: Buck Zumhoff vs. Jeff Hardy Despite his boasting, Buck Zumhoff has a tough time keeping up with Jeff Hardy early on and the much younger athlete hands him a pretty good beating early on, even hitting the high angle senton bomb! He makes the cover but Zumhoff kicks out at two. Jeff looks to keep on top of him, but "Rock 'N Roll" begins Bucking up and he dominates Jeff for a while, but soon Hardy is fighting back and the two men go at it in the middle of the ring! There's some good back and forther before Buck Zumhoff retains the Title after hitting Jeff Hardy with the spirngboard DDT that he calls the Rocking 'N Rolling!
Buck Zumhoff then says that he knows these kids like Wrestling; but do they love Rock'N Roll as much as "The Rock 'N Roller" Buck Zumhoff himself? He then sends us to a music video he's sure we'll like; Metallica's "Enter Sandman!"Enter Sandman - MetallicaFinally Buck Zumhoff says that time is almost up for this week's show and that it's now time for Slammin' Saturdays Main Event feature; the Wrestling Rewind. He says that this week's Rewind is from back on July 20th of last year where in the Main Event "Ravishing" Rick Rude fought someone near and dear to his co-host Lou Albano's heart; "The Silent Assasin" Steve Blackman!7/20/94 Match: Rick Rude vs. Steve Blackman Steve Blackman seems very confident and a little cocky going in and connects with several kicks before dropping Rude with a legsweep. Rick Rude seems a little out of it and has trouble dodging the quick martial artist who once he has him on the ground begins pounding on the wound on Rude's head; busting him open again. This amgers Rick and the two men roll about on the floor a bit before Rude gets to his feet first. He puts the boots to Blackman when Pomp and Cicumstance hits. "The Ravishing One" looks up for a second at the stage and smiles when nobody is there. He continues to work over Steve Blackman who gets in little offense from here on out after Rude hits him hard with a delayed vertical suplex. He then makes Steve Blackman gives up the match after locking him into an overhead gutwrench backbreaker rack. While Blackman is still in the air however; "Macho Man" Randy Savage has entered the ring!He and Rude stare one another down before Savage charges Rude. Just as Randy is about to connect however; Rick tosses his opponent at Randy sending him down to the mat. While Savage untangles himself from under "The Silent Assassin;" Rude has rolled out of the ring and back in. Randy is back up on his knees and his eyes go wide as he sees Rick Rude approach. He has Blackman's Kendo sticks!! Rick Rude twirls the Kendo Stick in his hand before he smashes Randy in the face with it. He continues to beat down the Champ while Debbie Combs rushes to ringside and throws herself on top of Savage pleading with Rude to stop. He does. And grabbing Combs' hand he pulls her up and taking her into his arms lays a deep kiss on her!!! She struggles to free herself as the...

04-25-94 - Myrtle Beach Convention Center Myrtle Beach, SC"Mean" Gene Okerlund and "The Genius" Lanny Poffo welcome us to the Myrtle Beach Convention Center in beautiful Myrtle Beach, South Carolina for another exciting edition of Eastern Championship Wrestling. They recap last week's episode reminding us of Eric Bischoff's announcement of a Hardcore Invitational Battle Royal at ECW's next big event Hardcore Heaven on May 2nd; right here on TNN The Nashville Network; next week!Lady Alexandra makes with the intros for the first match of the night.Match: Tiffany vs. Debbie Combs Women's Champ Debbie Combs' leg is still in a knee brace when she comes down to the ring Title slung over her shoulder with the "Macho Man" Randy Savage and Steve Corino in tow. From the moment referee Danny Davis starts the match Combs' opponent Tiffany focuses on that leg trying to wear the Champ down and win by Submission. Debbie however keeps fighting back but gets in trouble toward the end of the match where Tiffany has her up on the top turnbuckle setting her up for the Iconoclasm. Debbie Combs however refuses to give up and fights Tiffany off throwing her down to the mat. She is a bit shaky as she stands on the top turnbuckle and leaps off connecting with a Flying Elbow for the win. Savage who has been annoying Okerlund and Poffo on commentary the entire time discussing his Match that WILL be set at Hardcore Heaven quits jawjacking and helps her from the ring. After the match we're taking to a pretaped segment where Luna Vachon and Doink the Clown are being asked by ECW correspondent Terri Runnels about Luna's Title Shot at Hardcore Heaven. Doink laughs maniacally the entire time while "Mad Dog" talks about how when she was little she liked to kill things. Pull the wings off of flies and most especially pull the legs off of spiders. She say that at Hardcore Heaven she's going to get to relive some of those cherished childhood memories when she pulls "Hot Stuff" Debbie Combs' right off her body and makes her scream bloody murder at Hardcore Heaven. Which is why she's glad Eric Bischoff saw to it to give her a Submission Match! After the break we see Butch Reed and Brickhouse Brown talking to KAMA. They tell him he did good last week but warn him not to fail in taking out that traitor uncle Tom Devon Hughes tonight. KAMA says that won't be a problem. Reed then exits with Brown for his match.Match: Butch Reed vs. Yoshihiro Tajiri Both Brickhouse Brown and Mr. Fuji are at ringside in this match officiated by S.D. Jones. Yoshihiro Tajiri impresses the crowd with his high flying and innovative offense, hitting a handspring elbow, a springboard moonsault; and leaping up onto the top rope takes Butch Reed to the mat with a springboard huurancanrana. Reed is no slouch however and hits "The Japanese Buzzsaw" with a variety of power moves. Neither man will stay down for the count however, but the end is near when Yoshihiro traps his prey in the Tarantula! Butch screams in pain and Jones orders the illegal hold broken. Tajiri doesn't have a choice however when on the outside Brickhouse Brown nails him with a bionic elbow to the back! Tajiri drops to the floor where Brown lifts him to his feet and rolls him into the ring. "Hacksaw" is right on top of him and puts the boots to him before laying him out with a sitout powerbomb pin combination that nets him the win.Match: Doink the Clown vs. Erin O'Grady Erin O'Grady gives ol' Doink the Clown a tough fight, but when he goes for the Lucky Charm lifting double underhook DDT, the Clown counters with a back body drop! Luna Vachon meanwhile distacted referee Danny Davis with her... assets and as O'Grady wobbles back up to feet Doink removes his clown shoe and uses the Heel Turn on him! Making the cover he gets the win. After the match we're brought backstage where "The Rugged One" Ronnie Garvin is discussing his match at Hardcore Heaven with Terri Runnels. He says that he doesn't fear the steel cage. He's in his element in any scenario where he can inflict the most damage possible. But he doesn't blame Arn Anderson for being a little gunshy. He was in the arena that night and he saw what Randy Savage did. Tried to end Anderson's career. It was a cowardly thing to do. But Arn is a survivor. He went on to become the ECW Champion. A Title he still holds five months later. As impressive as "The Enforcer" is though, Garvin knows "The Rugged One" is just that much better. And while he's not looking to end anyone's career next week, he is going to do whatever it takes to make him the new Eastern Heavyweight Champion!Just then "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson walks up to them with the Title about his waist. He and Garvin stare at one another before AA extends his hand. Ronnie takes it and the Champ wishes him luck next week to which Garvin replies "You too." Arn then walks off-screen and Ronnie informs Runnels that Arn is gonna need it."Mean" Gene Okerlund and Lanny Poffo remind us that next week on May 2nd ECW will be coming to us live from The Georgia Coliseum in Athens, Georgia where they'll be presenting their next Big Event; Hardcore Heaven right here on Eastern Championship's home station TNN The Nashville Network! Just then "White Train" by Tito & Tarantula sounds and out from the back swaggers ECW President Eric Bischoff. He enters the ring with Lady Alexandra and thanks the fans for joining them here in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina! He then talks about next week and how excited he if for Hardcore Heaven! He tells us how we'll see all five Titles be on the line! He then hypes the card for next week's huge show.

He then thanks the fans for selling out The Georgia Coliseum for next week's event and for those fans whom he sure will be tuning in this time next week!
Okerlund and Poffo are excited by this news and are sure it's going to be one hell of a match and are looking forward to Hardcore Heaven. They then talk about the next match where the undefeated Lord William Regal will face off against "Mangler's Monster" The Blitzkrieg who's never bee pinned or defeated. Gene says that he might not be a "Genius" but he's gonna guess one of these men's winning streak will be coming to an end here tonight. Poffo mockingly says that Okerlund's really going out on a limb with that prediction.Match: William Regal vs. The Blitzkrieg Both The Baron Von Raschke and his son Aryan are at ringside for this one. Most people expect Lord William Regal to keep his distance from The Blitzkrieg, but Regal does the unexpected and takes the fight to "Mangler's Monster" delivering several well placed jabs to the big man's rib cage before whipping him across the ring. On the rebound however The Blitzkrieg connects with a huge body check that knocks William to the ground. Regal is right back up however and grabbing Blitzkrieg by the shoulder knees him in the gut! He continues to hold his own against The Monster until suddenly Rick Rude's strip theme hits! Both men turn toward the ramp and seeing his opening The Blitzkrieg grabs William Regal by the throat and delivers a chokeslam! He is unable to capitalize however as Rick Rude appears from the crowd in street clothes and is carrying a steel chair! He immediately treats The Baron Von Raschke to a cracked skull that sends him to the floor with a shrill scream. Aryan sets off after him but receives a chair shot to the face and goes down hard! Sliding into the ring Rick Rude pops up as The Blitzkrieg attempts to make the pin. The big man sees him and gets to one knee before Rude slams him across the skull! As "Manger's Monster" hits the canvas referee S.D. Jones declares the match a No Contest while Rude begins pounding on him with the chair! After several shots he smiles smugly and tosses the chair aside. He asks Lady Alexandra for the mic. After telling her she looks good and goosing her he says he hates stating the obvious, but Von Raschke and company? Rick Rude is back! And he's here to reclaim the Title that's rightfully his one way or another. So if they thought he wasn't going to show up at Hardcore Heaven next week? Think again. And Rob Van Dam? You've been warned. Stay out of Rude's way. He then exits the ring and backs his way up the ramp while Von Raschke who is helped up to one knee by Aryan begins screaming that Rude is dead! We're then taken to a pre-taped segment where Destruction Inc. with Takako Inoue are talking about their upcoming match with the "Macho Man" Randy Savage at Hardcore Heaven. Mongo Vyle and Rhino say they don't care if Savage has that puny punk Corino with him or not next week. That the only thing that matters to them is ending "Macho Madness" once and for all. And that's exactly what they're intending to do next week. End Savage's career. So "Macho Man"? On May 2nd? Prepare to get... Takako takes the mic and growls "Destroyed!"Match: KAMA vs. Devon Hughes Spike Hughes is noticeably absent from ringside as Danny Davis starts the match. KAMA and Devon Hughes lock up and fight for leverage which after a minute KAMA wins as he drags big Devon down to the floor and locks in an armbar. KAMA dominates most of the early portion of the match getting a nearfall after hitting Devon with the spinning side slam, but Hughes rallies back after just making it to the ropes while trapped in the STF and frustrates KAMA at every turn, hitting him with the 360 degree corkscrew back elbow smash, a pildriver; and a diving headbutt off the top. KAMA however catches a break when Devon attempts a body avalanche in the corner and his opponent gets out of the way just in the nick of time. Hughes crashes into the corner and turns dazed while the devious KAMA slides on the brass knuckles and looks for the knock out blow! Devon however ducks at the last minute and retaliates with a spinebuster! He hooks the leg. 1!... 2!... 3! Devon has one it! A very frustrated KAMA pounds rolls to a sitting position and pounds his fists into the canvas in defeat while Devon celebrates his win. After the break we're taken backstage where "Macho Man" Randy Savage is with Steve Corino and "Hot Stuff" Debbie Combs. ECW correspondent Terri Runnels congratulates Corino on being reinstated to the active roster. Corino says he knew it was only a matter of time. That he could've gone elsewhere, but that a man with his level of talent-- He is the cut off by Savage who says Team Madness is psyched. That if Destruction Inc. think that they can stop Macho Madness; something that the likes of Hulk Hogan, Ricky Steamboat, Rick Rude, Arn Anderson, the list goes on couldn't do; what makes them think a pair of pug ugly thugs like Rhino and Mongo Vyle stand a chance. He says that those two are going to get what's coming to them next week at Hardcore Heaven; a good old fashined ass-kicking. Oooh yeah!Match: Scott Taylor vs. Dick Murdoch "The Superstar" Scott Taylor comes in all fired up and catches "Captain Redneck" Dick Murdoch by surprise. Taylor dominates early on catching Murdoch with a slingshot crossbody, an inverted atomic drop; and a missile dropkick off the top, the last of which nearly gets him a three count. Dick does get some offense in trhoughout but Taylor doesn't stay down for long and traps Murdoch in the figure four leglock! Dick is too close to the ropes however and breaks the hold. Late in the match Scott sets Murdoch up for the side Russian legsweep when "Captain Redneck" delivers a mule kick to the crotch of "The Superstar" that goes unnoticed by referee S.D. Jones. Taylor crumples on the floor and Dick stomps Taylor's head which he injured last week. In full control Dick Murdoch works over Scott Taylor's head for a bit busting him open again before nailing him with the Brainbuster! Taylor is out cold while Murdoch picks up the three count. After the match we see a video package featuring the Inter-Promotional Champion "The Long Island Loud-Mouth" Chris Jericho which focuses on his feud with New York Giants linebacker Lawrence Taylor which began back on February 22nd when "L.T." showed up at the Richard J. Codey Arena and challenged Jericho to a match. We see Taylor attacking Jericho who cowardly tosses ECW President Eric Bischoff in front of himself like a human shield, Lawrence Taylor's wrestling exhibition where he defeated 10 men single-handedly, "The Loud-Mouth" showing up at Taylor's old High School and defeating the current players on the Lafayette Rams, Taylor with Pete Rose and Lawrence decking Chris after his match with Jerry Lawler; and finally Jericho's "training video" from last week."Mean" Gene and "The Genius" welcome us back from the last commercial break of the evening. Up next we're set to see the Eastern Tag-Team Champions The Lawlers in action against a team they won't be facing at Hardcore Heaven; "The Machiavellan Mauler" Mongo Vyle and Rhino who're collectively known as Destruction Inc. Both teams are set to compete at next week's event however with The Lawlers defending their Titles against Brickhouse Brown and "Hacksaw" Butch Reed while Vyle and Rhino while square off against the team of "Macho Man" Randy Savage and the newly reinstated Steve Corino. Pantera's "Fucking Hostile" then hits as Mongo Vyle and Rhino appear on the ramp.
Alexandra: The following non-Title Match is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first accompanied to the ring by Takako Inoue and weighing a combined 596 lbs. they are the team of "The Man-Beast" Rhino and "The Machiavellan Mauler" Mongo Vyle; Destruction Inc.!
Destruction Inc. storms the ring and poses for the crowd until The Bill Conti Overture plays and out from the back steps The Lawlers with their Tag-Team Titles.
Alexandra: And introducing thei opponents this evening from Memphis, Tennessee weighing a combined 456 lbs.; they are the Eastern Tag-Team Champions Brian and Jerry "The King" Lawler!Main Event: The Lawlers vs. Destruction Inc. Danny Davis begins the match and Mongo Vyle starts things off with Jerry Lawler. The match barely gets underway however when Brickhouse Brown and Butch Reed show up at ringside! They begin bullying Brian Lawler who attacks Reed. Butch is no pushover however and hoisting the younger Lawler up into the air military presses him face first onto the steel guardrail! On the other side of the ring Rhino is laughing it up at Brian's misfortune when Randy Savage and Steve Corino come over the guardrail out of the audience and jump him! They put the boots to "The Man-Beast" while Reed and Brown enter the ring to attack "The King! Savage and Corino are soon inside looking to take out Vyle. And a full-on brawl erupts as a bloodied Brian Lawler comes to his dad's defense and Rhino jumps into the ring to aide Vyle! Davis has no choice but to delare the match a No Contest as the locker room spills out to break up the fight and the...
