3/7/95 - The Delaware Field House Newark, DE"Mean" Gene Okerlund and "The Genius" Lanny Poffo welcome us to the Delaware Field House in Newark, Delaware for another exciting edition of Eastern Championship Wrestling! They talk briefly about last week's show concentrating on ECW Champion "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson's match with "The Man-Beast" Rhino; and how after the match Rhino was attacked by the former Champ "Macho Man" Randy Savage. They're sure we'll hear from both these men later tonight. They then hype tonight's card which will see two Championships on the line as Women's Champion "Hot Stuff" Debbie Combs faces off agains the woman she stole the belt from, her "friend" Beulah McGillicutty. Also the former tag-team Champs The New Orient Express have enacted their rematch clause for the Titles and will be facing the new Tag-Team Champs Brian and Jerry "The King" Lawler in tonight's big Main Event!Lady Alexandra then introduces the competitors for the first match of the night.Match: KAMA vs. Mike Sharpe After we're treated to Mike Sharpe's rendition of the Canadian National Anthem, referee S.D. Jones starts the match. There isn't much wrestling between Sharpe and KAMA as they two big men brawl about the ring. At one point KAMA traps Canada's Greatest Athlete in the STF but "Iron" Mike manages to free himself and goes on to later decapitate KAMA with a brutal running forearm smash. KAMA somehow manages to keep his head in the game though and kicks out just before the three angering Sharpe who proceeds to beat on his opponent and stomp him into the canvas. The end comes when we while he's down we see KAMA reach into his boots and produce the pair of brass knuckles Doink gave him back in December! Jones doesn't see them as KAMA KOs "Iron" Mike and hooks his leg for the pin.Destruction Inc. with Takako Inoue cuts a promo after the break where the call out "Macho Man" Randy Savage. Rhino says that last week Savage cost him a shot at defeating the ECW Champion Arn Anderson and he knows why. It's because Savage fears "The Man-Beast" and knows should he capture the Title he doesn't have a goddamned chance in Hell at getting it back. Mongo Vyle goes on to call "Macho Man" a punk who only held his Title for a year by keeping real challengers out of the Title picture. He says that Savage is stupid for putting himself in the crosshairs of Destruction Inc. and that he had better be prepared to... Takako snatches the mic from Vyle's hands and growls "Destroyed!" leaving both men seemingly stunned.
Back at ringside Sexton Hardcastle is already inside the ring with referee Danny Davis while Irish Folk Music plays and "The Leprechaun" Erin O'Grady comes down the ramp tossing gold coins to the crowd.Match: Sexton Hardcastle vs. Erin O'Grady Over the last year Erin O'Grady has proven himself a tough competitor facing off against some of ECW's top talents. Newcomer Sexton Hardcastle learns this firsthand in this fast paced match which sees O'Grady out Hardcastle away for the three count with his patented Lucky Charm lifting double underhook implant DDT. After the match he places a gold coint on each of his opponent's eyes."Mean" Gene and Lanny discuss Garvin's challenge to ECW Champion Arn Anderson for the Title. Poffo thinks "The Rugged One" is a joke. Okerlund disagrees talking about Garvin's many accomplishments over his career including facing off against Anderson at Wrestle Annual in the Tournament Finals. A losing effort Lanny reminds us.Match: Shane Helms vs. Ronnie Garvin Ronnie Garvin tears the inexperienced Shane Helms limb from limb and referee S.D. Jones looks a bit relieved to be calling for the bell after Helms submits to the sharpshooter following a Garvin Stomp from "Rugged." After the bell rings Garvin uses his towel to wipe his face before tossing it down at his opponent.Just then ECW Champion "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson appears on the ramp with the ECW Title about his waist. After a moment's silence Arn Anderson tells Ron Garvin that he respects him. He's one hell of a competitor even if he doesn't always agree with his tactics; but he gave him one hell of a match at Wrestle Annual. And "The Enforcer" never runs from a fight. So if he wants a shot at this here Title? Well he's on.Okerlund and Poffo welcome us back from the commercial break. "Mean" Gene then reminds us that next week Eastern Championship Wrestling will be coming to us live from the Ritchie Coliseum in College Park, Maryland and that while tickets are sold out for the event; those folks at home can see all the action right here on ECW's home station of TNN The Nashville Network. They then discuss the big new before the break regarding ECW Champion Arn Anderson agreeing to face Ronnie Garvin for the Title. The only question new is, when? Finally the hype the Women's Title match about to take place talking about Combs' betrayal of her friend and then Women's Champion Beulah McGillicutty. Lanny wouldn't agree with the term "steal." He saw the match, Beulah practically handed it to her via her naivity. Randy Savage once again accompanies his Debbie Combs to ringside while "Hot Stuff" by Donna Summers plays and sits at the broadcast table much to Lanny's annoyance.Women's Title Match: Debbie Combs vs. Beulah McGillicutty Before Davis starts the match "Hot Stuff" Debbie Combs extends her hand toward her challenger; but retracts it when Beulah goes to take it and laughs at her. This pisses Beulah McGillicutty off and she hits Debbie in the face driving her back into the ropes where she whips her across the ring before connecting with a Lou Thesz press and several right hands. Beulah keeps control early on, but Combs isn't above some hair pulling to change the direction of the match. There are several nearfalls on both sides in this hard fought bout until McGillicutty plants Combs with the DDT. She then goes up top looking for the moonsault and doesn't see Savage spring up out of his chair and pass Debbie the Women's Championship! He then distracts S.D. Jones who ends up not seeing Combs thrust the belt into Beulah's face as she connects with the moonsault! McGillicutty is bleeding from the face and completely out of it as Debbie Combs rolls her over for the three count. "Mean" Gene is completely disgusted as McGillicutty has to be removed from the ring on a stretched. Combs and "The Macho Man" meanwhile can't seem to be more pleased with themselves.Brought backstage afterward we see "The Long Island Loud-Mouth" Chris Jericho preparing himself before entering the office of ECW President Eric Bischoff. Looking up from his paperwork Bischoff looks pissed as Jericho enters. Chris immediately begins apologizing for his actions last week, saying he was completely unprepared for Lawrence Taylor being there and freaked out. "Sorry? Sorry?!" Bischoff begins ranting as he rises from his desk grabbing at some crutches. He hobbles out from behind his desk on them and tells Jericho that he knows all about how he "freaked out." But what Eric himself was unprepared for was getting thrown in front of that freight train of a linebacker! Jericho says that he'll make it up to Bischoff. He still just can't believe the audacity of Taylor just walking into the arena like that. Like he owned the place. He says he doesn't deserve a shot at HIS Championship! Bischoff replies "Oh no. No." He says that Jericho isn't getting out of this that easily. He says that he had to go toe to toe with "L.T." and that Jericho had just better get his ass ready. Because one day, very soon it's gonna be the Inter-Promotional Champion Chris Jericho versus the former New York Giant Lawrence Taylor! And just so Jericho doesn't get any ideas about "freaking out;" it's gonna take place in a steel cage! Jericho goes completely pale as ECW goes to...Match: Doug Gilbert vs. Randy Savage "The Redneck Rebel" Doug Gilbert hasn't had much luck in ECW and it gets even worse when "Pomp and Circumstance" hits announcing the rival of his opponent tonight, "Macho Man" Randy Savage. Randy is slow in getting into the ring after posing for the crowd and hangs his hat and coat on his lackey Steve Corino because giving Debbie Combs a kiss "for luck." He doesn't need it. Gilbert gets little offense in when S.D. Jones starts the match up and Savage dominates him until he hits Doug with an atomic drop for the three count. Randy looks bored as he sits in the rings and snaps his fingers to Combs who brings him the microphone.
Inside the ring Randy Savage paces about looking indecisive before addressing "Rhino. Mongo Vyle." He says that "The Macho Man" has taken alot of knocks to the head over the years. But that's okay because he has a thick skull. Yeah. Some may say too thick. Because once Randy Savage gets an idea in his head. An inspiration if you will. He sticks to it. He becomes obsessed with it. He lets it drive his every action until the mission gets accomplished. 1-2-3. An unfortunately for you two "Macho Man" remembers back in December. One night before he lost his Title. Two punks. Two nothings to this industry decided to put a beat down on Savage. Attack him from behind. Blindside him. Yeah. Well those two men. Destruction Inc. They might think they're something. But from here on out "The Macho Man" Randy Savage is going to go out of his way to make sure the two of them remain nothing. Zilch. Nada. Forever. Oooh Yeah!Rhino doesn't look to be in a good mood as circus music hits and Doink the Clown makes his way to the ring with his pet monkey Isabella.Match: Rhino vs. Doink the Clown Doink the Clown extends his hand to Rhino as Danny Davis starts the match; but "The Man-Beast" smacks the taste out of Doink's mouth and his false hand goes flying from his sleeve. Rhino manhandles The Clown who surprisingly hangs in their; just kicking his way free of a bridged German Suplex. Frustrated with Doink's endurance throughout the match Rhino whips him hard across the ring accidentally sending him crashing into Davis; sending both men out of the ring to the floor below! Climbing out of the ring Rhino begins beating on Doink on the outside, brutally smashing his face into the guardrail. Just then the crowd comes alive and through the audience appears "The Macho Man" Randy savage!"Not him again" Lanny complains. Rhino sees him coming, but Savage is fired up and after a brief back and forth Randy tears into "The Man-Beast" hammering on him before whipping him into the steel steps! The ref is still out of it on the outside as "Macho Man" rolls Rhino into the ring and hopping inside hits him with a Piledriver! Savage then rolls out and lifts the wobbly Doink to his feet telling him to get back inside the ring. Climbing inside Doink measures up Rhino as he crawls up onto all fours. "Mean" Gene then says we've had a disturbance backstage?! We're taken to the back on a split screen as Doink removes his shoe setting Rhino up for what Lanny calls the "Heel Turn." In the back a number of ECW's undercard are gathered around a dressing room door which is being pounded on from the inside. Angered screaming is heard from within as the door finally gives way slamming open to reveal Mongo Vyle! He grabs the nearest person who happens to be Sexton Hardcastle and says he's going to "friggin' kill him!" before tossing Sexton aside like a ragdoll and storming off! Meanwhile out at ringside Randy Savage is hiding on the otherside of the guardrail cheering Doink on as he smacks Rhino upside the head with his shoe; knocking "The Man-Beast" out cold! He makes the cover and hooks the leg as an awoken Danny Davis gets back into the ring and makes the three count! "The Machiavellan Mauler" appears on the ramp and charges down to the ring! Seeing him coming a smug "Macho Man" gets out of dodge as Mongo Vyle comes to the aide of his partner Rhino whom he wakes up. Rhino doesn't seem to know what's going on, but becomes furious when he realizes he lost a match to "Doink the friggin' Clown!" The two men take their frustrations out on Doink by grabbing him and beating him to a bloody pulp. After Destruction Inc. has had their fun and head to the back medical personnel, Eric Bischoff; and a number of people from the locker room including a very concerned looking Luna Vachon come down to the ring to help The Clown."Mean" Gene and Lanny Poffo thank us for joining them after the last commercial break of the evening. Okerlund says that what Destruction Inc. did to Doink the Clown earlier was disgusting and uncalled for while Lanny found it funny. They then hype tonight's big Main Event in which The New Orient Express attempt to reclaim their Tag-Team Titles in a rematch against the current Champions Brian and Jerry "The King" Lawler! The Bill Conti Overture then hits as The Lawlers appear on the ramp with their belts.
Alexandra: The following Tag-Team match is scheduled for one fall and is for the Eastern Tag-Team Championships! Introducing first from Memphis, Tennessee weighing a combined 456 lbs. they are the Eastern Tag-Team Champions Brian and Jerry "The King" Lawler!
After posing in the ring with the Titles, The Lawlers hand them over to referee S.D. Jones. The Kaientail theme then hits as The New Orient Express make their way to the ring.
Alexandra: And introducing the challengers this evening from Tokyo, Japan weighing in at a combined weight of 397 lbs. and accompanied to the ring by their manager Mr. Fuji; they are Taka Michinoku and "The Japanese Buzzsaw" Yoshihiro Tajiri; The New Orient Express!Main Event Tag-Team Title Match: The Lawlers vs. The New Orient Express Taka Michinoku starts things off with Brian Lawler as the two men lock up. Brian strikes first blood when he takes Michinoku down to the ground with a snapmare planting Taka on his ass as Brian runs the ropes and hits him with a short dropkick on the rebound. He makes a quick cover only getting a one count before lifting Michinoku to his feet and busting him in the face with an elbow. He hammers Takak across the ring into the ropes and attempts a whip; but Michinoku reverses! Charging Lawler in the middle of the ring Taka drops him with a hurrancanrana before laying into him with several kicks which Brian does his best to block. Michinoku hits Brian with a thrust kick into the ropes, but Lawler surprises him by coming back in with a sunset flip that gets him a two. Popping back up the two men begin trading punches and chops before Taka grabs hold of Brian's arm and pulls him in for a knee strike to the gut before rolling over his back and hitting a suplex! He gets a two count of his own and a huge pop from the crowd. Lifting Brian up to his feet Michinoku clubs Brian's back and head a before looking for a running powerbomb! Brian however hammers on Taka's head while seated on his shoulders and folds him over into a hurrancanrana pin! 1!...2!... Michinoku breaks free! Brian however isn't down and hoisting Taka up into the air connects with a back body drop! He makes another cover getting a two, but now Jerry Lawler wants in and keeping hold of Michinoku Brian makes the tag. Together the two Lawlers whip Taka across the ring and hit him with a double flapjack! Jerry then signals for the Flying Fist Drop as Brian returns to their corner. Up on the top turnbuckle Jerry is about to go airborne when the villainous Mr. Fuji wraps him on the ankle with his cane! Referee S.D. Jones is immediately on it; but the damage is already done as "The King" teeters and then falls down crotched on the top turnbuckle! Crawling up to his feet Taka Michinoku stumbles to make the tag to Yoshihiro Tajiri who swoops in and charging up the turnbuckle sets Jerry up for the superplex! Lawler however battles back and the two men exchange blows before Jerry tosses "The Japanese Buzzsaw" down to the floor below! He signals for the Fist Drop again and leaps into the air! But Tajiri kip-ups! And nails an aiborne Jerry Lawler with an enzuiguri kick! The crowd is stunned as Yoshihiro makes the cover! 1!... 2!... Brian makes the save! As Tajiri recovers from the diving double axehandle from Lawler, Taka Michinoku storms into the ring and attacks Brian! The two men trade punches as Michinoku's momentum carries them over the top rope and out of the ring. Jerry is still dazed as Tajiri rises from the mat and begins stalking his prey looking for the Shing Wizard! As he leaps Jerry catches him just in time and plants him with a desperation powerbomb! He is still too out of it to make the cover and stumbles to his corner to find nobody there. Yoshihiro however is back up and runs in with a back elbow smash before hitting Jerry with various kicks. "The King" however manages to block several of them and grabbing Tajiri he tosses him into the cover and begins hammering on "The Japanese Buzzsaw" before climbing up onto the second rope and hitting him some more. Lifting Tajiri up onto the turnbuckle, Jerry lowers his strap before going for the superplex! Just then however he screams in pain and falls down hard to the mat clutching at his face! Yoshihiro Tajiri has used the Asian mist! Tajiri signals for the Flying Fist Drop and going aiborne connects! 1!...2!.... Wait! What's this?! S.D. Jones has stopped the count! He is pointing to Lawler's green face and shaking his head! Tajiri is shrugging and playing innocent; but Jones points to Yoshihiro's mouth which is also covered with the mist! S.D. Jones throws out the match; awarding it to The Lawlers by DQ! The New Orient Express look pissed as the...

03/14/95 - Ritchie Coliseum College Park, MD"Mean" Gene Okerlund and "The Genius" Lanny Poffo welcome us to the Ritchie Coliseum in College Park, Maryland for another exciting edition of Eastern Championship Wrestling! They discuss last week's show including the Main Event during which The Lawlers retained the Titles after The New Orient Express got themselves DQed when Yoshihiro Tajiri was caught using the Asian Mist on Jerry Lawler. They then hype tonight's card which in addition to seeing the Express in action will also feature a great Main Event as the ECW Champion "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson faces former Eastern States Champion "Mr. wednesday Night" Rob Van Dam in a non-Title bout. But to start things off we'll be seeing a rematch from Wrestle Annual as former Women's Champ Beulah McGillicutty faces the woman she beat for the belt that night "Miss Texas" Jacqueline Moore. Lanny says he always likes a bit of girl on girl action.Lady Alexandra makes the intros for the first match of the night.Match: Beulah McGillicutty vs. Jacqueline Moore Beulah McGillicutty whose nose is bandaged doesn't make things easy for Jacqueline Moore in this one; but "Miss Texas" is obviously on a mission and puts a hurting on McGillicutty; concentrating on her already damaged face which she is soon dripping blood again; before taking her out with a bridged German Suplex for the three count from Danny Davis.
After the match Jacqueline gets the microphone from Lady Alexandra whom she thanks and tells that she is a better announcer anyway. Just like "Miss Texas" was a better Champion. You see Moore always knew Beulah's little "Title reign" was a fluke. That she only won at Wrestle Annual thanks to her "buddy" Debbie Combs. And now that "Hot Stuff" proved herself to be the snake we all new she was; Combs doesn't stand a chance in hell at regaining the belt. Unlike Jacqueline Moore. Because it's only a matter of time Debra; before the true Women's Champion "Miss Texas" comes a calling.Match: Rhino vs. Erin O'Grady After tossing coins to the crowd from his cauldron "The Leprechaun" Erin O'Grady does his best to keep up with Rhino in this match officiated by S.D. Jones. Eventually however "The Man-Beast's" strength overpowers O'Grady's quickness and the big man beats him down to the mat before laying him out for the count with a spike piledriver.
After the match Rhino gets on the mic trash talking "Macho Man" Randy Savage, saying how good it felt stomping a hole in him last year; and ending his reign as ECW Champion in the process. He claims that last week Savage got lucky, caught him off-guard; but that the next time they meet "Macho Man" is a dead man. Dig it!Savage comes out and says that Rhino is real funny. And that's a good thing cause everyone needs a talent. Yeah. But this ain't improv night. We're not at the Apollo. This is ECW and the only thing that gets you to the top is the skill and drive to get there. And Rhino? This "Machiavellan Mauler?" Neither man has what it takes. Because while they might be big and dumb and have strength in numbers on there side; everytime either one of them has stepped in the ring when it really matters. Every time they've face a competitor the caliber of "The Macho Man" Randy Savage they've done nothing but gone down for the count. 1-2-3! Dig it! And that isn't gonna change next week either when Randy Savage goes one on one with "The Man-Beast" Rhino! Ooh yeah! Just then from the back springs "The Machiavellan Mauler" Mongo Vyle! He has a kendo stick which he smashes over Randy's back! The former Champ goes down hard and Mongo hits him again breaking the stick in half this time. He smiles down psychotically at Savage while inside the ring Rhino says that facing "The Macho Man" next week is fine with him. Because it's about time "Macho Madness" got destroyed!Match: Jeff Hardy vs. William Regal Jeff Hardy impresses in this one with some hight flying offense and impressive fortitude as he kicks out after being hit with an exploder suplex and later a double underhook powerbomb. Lord William softens Hardy up with a surfboard midway through the match and later goes in for the kill with the Regal Stretch arm trap cross-legged STF which has Jeff tapping out to referee Danny Davis.Back from break "White Train" by Tito & Tarantula is playing while inside the ring ECW President Eric Bischoff is propped up on crutches. He has security with him. He thanks us all for joining us here at the Ritchie Coliseum! He says that as we all know when Eric Bischoff is standing in the ring, it can only mean one thing. Business. And unfortunately several weeks ago just being here doing his damned job got him put into harm's way. But that isn't gonna stop him one bit. Because tonight he's here to call out the man who did this to him; FORMER New York Giant linebacker; Lawrence Taylor!Taylor appears on the ramp and heads down to the ring. He stares a weary Bischoff down. Eric says that as he's sure "L.T." can see; tonight he's bought back-up. Not that he's expecting any trouble tonight but you can never tell with New Yorkers. What Bischoff wants before they go any further however: is an apology! Taylor chuckles at this. He then gets on the mic and tells Bischoff he can have his apology. He didn't mean to pound on him the other night; not that he doesn't have a face that cries out for a good ass-kicking mind. But it was Eric's boy Chris Jericho who put him in harm's way. And personally he can't wait to get his hands on that wise-mouthed weasel. And this Inter-Promotional Title.
Eric Bischoff tells Taylor that he's going to get his chance at the belt. That he has no problem with Lawrence beating the piss out of "The Long Island Loud-Mouth." That's he's well aware that he's just as much to blame for this fractured leg that's making him look like some sort of gimp! So what he's planning is that on May 2nd at The Georgia Coliseum; the Inter-Promotional Champion "The Long Island Loud-Mouth" Chris Jericho will battle "L.T." Lawrence Taylor in a no-holds barred, no disqualification anything goes match at Eastern Championship Wrestling's next fifth Big Event; Hardcore Heaven! It's time to get extreme! Lawrence Taylor seems happy with this and shakes his head. Chris Jericho surprisingly is a no-show.
"Mean" Gene Okerlund and Lanny then welcome us back before discussing this shocking announcement from Bischoff that on May 2nd ECW will be presenting it's next Big Event; Hardcore Heaven; here live on ECW's home station of TNN The Nashville Network! They then remind us that nextb week's episode will take place live from the Hampton Coliseum in Hampton Roads, Virginia. Some tickets still remain, so check with your local box office for availability and pricing. Gene then says that he's heard the term Hardcore used in regards to wrestling; but isn't really sure what it means. Lanny Poffo says he thinks he does unfortunately. It's when a bunch of out of shape so-called "wrestlers" beat on each other with everything including the kitchen sink. No rules and no talent involved. He can see why someone like Bischoff would be interested.
Lady Alexandra then introduces the opponents in the next match.Tag-Team Match: The New Orient express vs. Deep South The New Orient Express don't seem to be on the same page here tonight in this match officiated by S.D. Jones. They spend alot of time bickering amongst themselves in Japanese and both Yoshihiro Tajiri and Taka Michinoku seem to only reluctantly tag one another in. Junkyard Dog and Dick Murdoch however are still on a roll and use the descent amongst the Express to their advantage with Dick Murdoch hitting Tajiri with the Calf Branding off the top to pick up the win. After the match Michinoku enters the ring and argues with Tajiri and their manager Mr. Fuji is forced to calm things down. Match: B. Brian Blair vs. Brickhose Brown Brickhouse Brown is accompanied to the ring by his new tag-team partner Butch Reed who cheers him on in a solid match with B. Brian Blair; whom Brown takes out with his swinging neckbreaker to earn the three count from Danny Davis. After the match backstage interviewer Douglas Williams talks to number one contender "Rugged" Ronnie Garvin for a bit about Anderson's announcement last week that he would be getting his shot at the ECW Title. Garvin is pleased with the fact "The Enforcer" true to his word is a stand-up Champ and isn't going to be constantly ducking him like that "Macho Fool" used to. He seems a bit antsy on when the match will be taking place however. "The Rugged One" wants an answer.Back from the break we're in the office of ECW President Eric Bischoff who is going over some paperwork with an accountant when there's a knock on the door and in enters "Mr. Wednesday Night" Rob Van Dam! Bischoff is courteous and asks him what's up. RVD says that he totally dug what he was saying out there before and really is psyched about ECW's next big event Hardcore Heaven. And he wants to cash in his rematch for the Eastern States Championship at the Event. "Mr. Wednesday Night" Rob Van Dam versus The Blitzkrieg. What do you say dude?
Eric smiles and says that while he'd personally love to see the match; he just got off the phone with another Eastern States Champion who is looking to reclaim the title. "Ravishing" Rick Rude! Van Dam looks let down, but Eric tells him to sit tight. He's gonna think it over and try to make everyone happy. After all it's good for business. And he'll give his answer on next week's show. Rob says that's cool and the two men shake hands with Bischoff wishing him luck on his match tonight.Match: Doug Gilbert vs. Aryan The Baron Von Raschke along with The Blitzkrieg accompanies his son and newest protegee Aryan out to the ring where Doug Gilbert is waiting with referee S.D. Jones. You'd think these two competitors would get along and "The Redneck Rebel" extends his hand to Aryan; but the cocky newcomer smacks it away. The match is fast paced with good back and forth that comes to a crashing hault when Aryan takes Gilbert's head off with the Sieg Heil! superkick and picks up the three count. Throughout the match Aryan is once again disrespectful to the ref and his opponent whom after defeating he calls "white trash" and spits on him.Lanny and Gene welcome us back from the final commercial break of the evening before giving us a brief recap of the night so far; focusing on the announcement of ECW's next big event Hardcore Heaven and the first match signed for the card; "The Long Island Loud-Mouth" Chris Jericho vs. former New York Giant Lawrence Taylor for the Inter-Promotional Championship in a no-holds barred anything goes No Disqualification Match! "Poundcake" by Van Halen then hits announing the arrival of...
Alexandra: The following non-Title contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first from Battle Creek, Michigan weighing 245 lbs.; he is "Mr. Wednesday Night" Rob Van Dam!
Van Dam heads down to the ring and poses for the crowd; climbing the turnbuckle and pointing toward his shoulders as the fans chant "Rob... Van... Dam!" he then shakes hands with referee Danny Davis and waits before Arn Anderson appears on the ramp.
Alexandra: And now introducing his opponent from Rome, Georgia weighing in at 255 lbs.; he is the Eastern Heavyweight Champion "The enforcer" Double A Arn Anderson! Main Event: Arn Anderson vs. Rob Van Dam As the two men shake hands Danny Davis starts the match and in a bit of unsportsman-like conduct Rob Van Dam whps Arn Anderson across the ring! Anderson looks for a jumping knee strike on the rebound; but the flexible RVD drops into a split ducking it and Arn hit the ropes again. On the return RVD takes the Champ down with a deep armdrag. AA rolls through popping back up to his feet as Van Dam comes in swinging. Anderson fires back and after blocking several of Rob's punches he strikes him with a hard elbow before grabbing him and tossing him into the nearby corner. Anderson begins hammering on Van Dam with body shots before whipping him and pulling him back in for a clothesline dropping him to the mat. Arn then looks for a falling elbow drop; but finds nothing but canvas as Van Dam kip-ups and nails Anderson with a roundhouse kick as he rises up to one knee. Arn falls back into the ropes as Van Dam begins to stomp him and he retreats outside of the ring. Van Dam however has other plans and running the ropes launches with a tope dive through the ropes and out of the ring onto the just recovered Enforcer sending both men tumbling down to the concrete. Both men are down and out and the fans come alive cheering both men on. Van Dam is up first and hitting a spinning leg drop; but when he goes to lift Anderson to his feet afterward; AA charges forward body checking Van Dam into the steel guardrail! Keeping on him Arn hits his opponent with several shoulder thrusts before grabbing him by the head and running him head first into the apron. He clubs him on the back before rolling him into the ring. Climbing up onto the apron Arn finds a dazed Van Dam back on his feet and he hits Arn with a hard right over the ropes. The two men battle over the apron until Arn smashes Rob across the face with his elbow before dropping "Mr. Wednesday Night" back into the ring with a hairpull hangman! Rolling back into the ring Arn grabs the dazed RVD by the legs and locks in the figure four! Van Dam awakens howling in pain and pounding the canvas! He refuses to submit however and manages to crawl towards the ropes getting Davis to break the hold. As they are separated Rob gets a chance to catch a breather as he pulls himself up the ropes obviously finding it difficult to stand. AA is right back on top of him and comes in swinging but hanging onto the ropes RVD jumps up and pushes Anderson back and down to the mat with his feet. He then while looking as though every move is painful hops up onto the top rope and as Arn gets up to his feet taking him down with a diving clothesline! He crawls onto the Champ but just misses a two count. Back up first after kicking out Anderson stomps on RVD's leg before trapping him in an Indian deathlock! Rob screams in pain once again but this time is unable to reach the ropes and taps out giving the win to "The Enforcer!" Arn takes the ECW Title and raises it high as the ref holds his hand up in victory and the...

The following show was recorded 03/19/95 and aired on 3/21/95 - Hampton Coliseum Hampton Roads, VA"Mean" Gene Okerlund and "The Genius" Lanny Poffo welcome us to the Hampton Coliseum in Hampton Roads, VA for another exciting edition of Eastern Championship Wrestling! They briefly recap last weeks show focusing on ECW Champion "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson's match with "Mr. Wednesday Night" Rob Van Dam and Eric Bischoff's huge announcement that ECW's next bige event Hardcore Heaven will be held on May 2nd and will be live right here on TNN the Nashville Network from The Georgia Coliseum; ECW's first show in Anderson's home state.
After Lanny mocks Hardcore "wrestling" a bit they run down tonight's card which will see the Inter-Promotional Champion "The Long Island Loud-Mouth" Chris Jericho's first match here since his win over "Charlie Hustle" Pete Rose at King of the Mountain. Okerlund suggests that Jericho might want to do less talking and more wrestling if before he gets rusty in the ring; if he wants to stand a chance at defeating former New York Giants linebacker Lawrence Taylor at Hardcore Heaven. And in our huge Main Event we'll see "The Macho Man" Randy Savage do battle with one of the two men whom he claims cost him the ECW Championship back in December; "The Man-Beast" Rhino. "Two men other than current Champion Arn Anderson" Okerlund reminds us; not that he agrees with Savage's assessment of that situation anyway. Randy was in fine physical shape at Wrestle Annual. Poffo jokes that maybe he had a rock in his shoe.Lady Alexandra introduces the competitors in the first match of the night as The Bill Conti Overture hits and the Tag-Team Champions The Lawlers make their way down to the ring in this non-Title match.Tag-Team Match: The Lawlers vs. Brickhouse Brown & Butch Reed Brian Lawler starts things off with Brickhouse Brown in this match officiated by S.D. Jones. There's good back and forth and everyone gets some ring time. The match is back in the favor of The Lawlers when Brian drops Brickhouse with a dropkick before tagging his father back in. Together The Lawlers deliver a double DDT on Brown and Jerry moves to make the cover. Butch Reed however takes exception to this and comes in the ring with a stomp to Lawler breaking the count before turning on Brian and hammering him into the ropes where he military presses him out of the ring! "The King" is back up to his feet in seconds and attacks "Hacksaw;" but the fired up Reed battles back and takes him down with a short-arm clothesline! He then returns to his corner and a somewhat recovered Brickhouse makes the quick tag. Together Reed and Brown double-team Jerry before Butch Reed puts Lawler away with a double underhook suplex for the big win.Match: Luna Vachon vs. Beulah McGillicutty Luna Vachon comes to the ring with Doink the Clown?! She isn't laughing however and though she puts up a decent fight Beulah McGillicutty continues her losing streak here as "Mad Dog" takes her out for the three count by Danny Davis with a brutal running powerslam. Doink looks pretty beat up from last week but manages to cheer Vachon on throughout.Lanny says things are looking up after the break when we're introduced to ECW's new backstage interviewer Terri Runnels! She is with that proper gentleman Lord William Regal and asking him about his winning streak. He says that before coming here he had great success in the independents fighting off such ruffians as Dan "The Beast" Severn and that "Big Bully" Nick Busick; so it's no surprise he is doing so well here in ECW where it's more about the wrestling and less about strutting about and dressing like a peacock. He's sure it's only a matter of time before he brings home the gold here in Eastern Championship.Match: B. Brian Blair vs. Sexton Hardcastle "THE Killer Bee" B. Brian Blair takes the inexperienced Sexton Hardcastle to school before eliminating him with a sleeper hold which has referee Jones dropping Hardcastle's hand to the mat three times. After the break "Mean" Gene reminds us that next week's show will be coming to us live from the Richmond Coliseum in Richmond, Virgina and that while tickets for that show are sold out; the folks at home should be sure to join us here live on ECW's home station TNN The Nashville Network!Just then "White Train" by Tito & Tarantula hits and ECW President Eric Bischoff comes down to the ring on crutches. He has security with him. Stepping inside the ring he asks Lady Alexandra for a microphone. He then says he has brough security out here to protect himself because as Lawrence Taylor proved several weeks ago; while Bischoff is all about the business; that some business decisions don't make people happy. He then invites to the ring the Eastern States Champion, "Mangler's Monster" The Blitzkrieg!"Ich tu der weh" hits as The Blitzkrieg appears on the ramp with his Title thrown over his shoulder. He has his manager The Baron Von Raschke and his son Aryan in tow. Okerlund says he hates these guys as they head down to the ring. Von Raschke isn't happy. Is he ever? He says that since The Blitzkrieg demolished Rick Rude and claimed the Eastern States Title for the Republic of Germany Bischoff has been doing his best to keep them off of tv. He says that Eric is a sympathizer. That already tonight he's seen useless women, a long-haired sissy; and a pair of darkies in the ring. Hell Bischoff even brought out the damned clown! But does a true Champion, a veritable unstoppable force get a match? No! And he understands the pressure. The pressure from the government. This Affirmative-action ridiculousness that's been foisted upon everyone by other sympathizers; but the truth remains. He knows there are people out there who want this Title. And "Mangler's Monster" The Blitzkrieg is prepared to defend it!
Bischoff tells Von Raschke that he'd better watch it. He then informs him that was the very reason he has brought them out here tonight. Because he had a decision to make. There are two legitimate contenders out there. And he'd like to invite down there first right now. "Poundcake" by Van Halen hits as "Mr. Wednesday Night" Rob Van Dam shows up and points to his shoulders as the crowd chants his name. He hops over the top rope and into the ring. Von Raschke doesn't look pleased by this at all and begins to grumble something when RVD cuts him short. He tells the "old dude" to listen. First off Rob is glad to see he's okay. Didn't break a hip. That was one hell of a beating Rick Rude handed him back in December. He can see why he was so pissed that he attacked "Ravishing" while he was already down. But really, him and his pet monster should feel super happy about that win. They earned the Title. And before Von Raschke starts in, he knows he doesn't like him. Doesn't like how RVD has more hair than him, doesn't like the fact he was more skilled than him or his "charges" ever will be; and of course there's the whole Polish thing. He gets it. And that's cool. Because Van Dam doesn't like this trio of goose-steppers either; which will make it all the more sweet when he takes back his Eastern States Championship.
Bischoff says "Whoa, whoa don't get ahead of yourself." He says that he hasn't given a decision about that match either way yet and frankly there's another challenger just as deserving. He then gestures to the big screen. At first there is only static; but soon we see "Ravishing" Rick Rude resting on a lounge chair sipping a sweet tea.He has two beautfil nurses attending to him. He looks much better than when we last saw him. He smiles cockily before saying hi to Eric, Rob, Moe, Larry; & Curley. He thanks Colonel Klink and his gang for the vaction. As we can see it's been a real hardship. He slaps on of the nurses on the ass and she squeals. Rude says that he realizes he's been pretty quiet since losing the Eastern States Championship. But that was just the quiet before the storm. Because he's ready to step back in that ring; and ECW had better be ready for a Rude Awakening.
Eric Bischoff shakes his head in agreement before turning toward the men assembled in the ring. He says that he's come to a decision and that decision is; nobody will be getting there rematch! Nobody will be getting it until Hardcore Heaven that is; when "Mangler's Monster" The Blitzkrieg defends his Title against both "The Ravishing One" Rick Rude and "Mr. Wednesday Night" Rob Van Dam! In a Ladder Match! Von Raschke and company look pissed at this news, but Van Dam looks like he is all for it.After the break "Thunderkiss '65" by White Zombie sounds as Chris Jericho explodes from the back carrying the Inter-Promotional Title in one hand. He swaggers down to the ring and hops inside with referee Danny Davis. "Jailhouse Rock" by The Blues Brothers then sounds as Devon Hughes appears on the ramp alone and yells "Testify!" before heading down and sliding to the ring."The Long Island Loud-Mouth" meanwhile has gotten the microphone off of Lady Alexandra. He tells Devon Hughes that he knows he don't get too much tv time, because he's pretty irrelevant; but he's fairly certain that Devon has been sitting at home on his barka longer reveling in the exploits of Chris Jericho! After all. Who hasn't? Now being such an avid fan, he's sure Hughes saw him triumph over "Charlie Hustler" and how now that football phony Lawrence Taylor is after what's rightfully his; this Inter-Promotional Championship... Devon doesn't seem to want to hear this and his jawjacking Jericho who then tells Devon Hughes that he heard in High School he was quite the football hero. Devon says that's right. Jericho responds "You'll do." And attacks him.Match: Chris Jericho vs. Devon Hughes Devon Hughes however is no pushover and though caught off guard at first he fires back and beats Chris Jericho like a scolded dog and nearly pins him with a lifting side slam. The momentum changes however when Devon swings Jericho across the ring and into the corner and goes for a body avalanche. Jericho gets his feet up and kicks Devon in the gut before nailing him with a diving bulldog off the top. Jericho takes over for most of the remainder of the match though Devon gets some nice offense in here and there before "The Long Island Loud-Mouth" puts him away with the elevated Boston Crab. Okerlund says that he's sure that Lawrence Taylor received Jericho's message loud and clear to which Lanny responds "What message?" We're the brought back stage where ECW correspondent Terri Runnels is asking "The Machiavellan Mauler" Mongo Vyle about his Tag-Team partner Rhino and his chances against former ECW Champion "Macho Man" Randy Savage. Vyle's girlfriend Takako Inoue is with him and gives Terri the evil eye throughout. Mongo looks Runnels up and down before telling her that he's been inside the ring with both men. And that while Randy Savage may think he's dangerous, the only man in this business more dangerous than himself is "The Man-Beast" Rhino; so he's sure his partner will have this match well in-hand. Because Rhino is you and hungy; and "The Macho Chump" is about to get... Takako snatches the mic from Terri growls "Destroyed!" into it scaring Runnels. Match: Jeff Hardy vs. Mongo Vyle Jeff Hardy impresses with some fast paced and high flying offense early on. Once Mongo Vyle catches hold of him it becomes a mercy killing when "The Machiavellan Mauler" makes the cover after nailing the smaller man with a sitout Powerbomb that has S.D. Jones delivering the three count.Match: Dick Murdoch vs. Scott Taylor Scott Taylor has been putting on some muscle weight over the last few months and is looking pretty formidable against "Captain Redneck" Dick Murdoch. ECW Champion "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson is at ringside coaching him and early on he gets a neafall on Murdoch with a superkick. Dick however fights his way back and just fails to put Taylor away with a brainbuster. From their Murdoch dominates a dazed Scott Taylor until "Redneck" goes for the powerbomb and Taylor counters surprising the veteran with a hurrancanrana pin for the three count from Davis! After the match Arn and Scott celebrate the victory before we're taken backstage where...Devon Hughes is in the locker room and punches the door. He looks frustrated as he's approached by Butch Reed and Brickhouse Brown. The two men begin talking to him about his loss tonight and how men of color aren't treated well in this business. They say that despite their skill they're overlooked. They want Devon Hughes to join them. They say that tonight they defeated those hillbilly tag-team Champs The Lawlers earning a Title shot. They say this is only the beginning. They're starting a movement here in ECW and they want Devon to be a part of it. They tell him that teaming with that little honky Spike Hughes has been keeping him back. It's all part of the plan. And that Devon should cut that Achilles' heel loose. Devon sits on the bench while listening to this and wipes his face with a towel before standing up and facing Brown and Reed. He tells them "No." Brickhouse says that's okay. But he should think it over, my brother. As they walk away Devon calls after them "It'll still be no tomorrow!" before slamming the door to his locker. "Mean" Gene and "The Genius" welcome us back from the last commercial break of the evening before hyping tonight's match. They talk about how along with his tag-team partner Mong Vyle, Rhino attacked Randy Savage the night before Wrestle Annual. This because of Savage's attack on "The Man-Beast" which resulted in his elimination from a number 1 contender's Tournament. More recently Savage re-instigated the feud when he attacked Rhino after a match with ECW Champion "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson three weeks ago.
"Pomp and Circumstance" then hits as "Macho Man" Randy Savage emerges from the back with Women's Champ Debbie Combs and Steve Corino in tow. As usual he hangs his hat and coat on Corino before getting into the ring and posing for the fans. Alexandra: The following Match is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first from Sarasota, Florida weighing 237 lbs. and accompanied to the ring by Steve Corino and the Women's Champion Debbie Combs; he is "The Macho Man' Randy Savage! Referee S.D. Jones checks Savage's gear as "Fucking Hostile" by Pantera hits the arena and "The Man-Beast" Rhino appears on the ramp with Mongo Vyle.
Alexandra: And introducing his opponent this evening from Detroit, Michigan weighing in at 270 lbs. and accompanied to the ring by "The Machiavellan Mauler" Mongo Vyle; his is "The Man-Beast" Rhino!Main Event: Randy Savage vs. Rhino The bell rings and the two men lock up in the center of the ring. They seem evenly matched, but eventually Savage loses some ground and Rhino grazes him with his forearm before spinning behind him and takes him down to the mat with a belly to black slam. He grabs "Macho Man" into an armbar and torques his shoulder, but they're too close to the ropes and Savage grabs them breaking the hold. Rhino comes right back in swinging and Randy catches him with an elbow to the chin and begins hammering on him before whipping him toward the ropes. Charging across the ring Savage leaps over the top rope and catches "The Man-Beast" with a hairpull hangman. Rhino crashes forward to the mat while "Macho" catches a breather on the outside. Mongo Vyle however doesn't like this and goes after him; but Randy escapes into the ring and Vyle receives a warning from referee S.D. Jones while "Macho Man" yells at him only to get clobbered from behind by a running double axe-handle by "The Man-Beast" who lays into him up against the ropes before whipping him across the ring and charges Savage with a big boot! Randy however ducks under and clips his leg with a shoulder block knocking him to the floor where he stomps the same leg before trapping Rhino in an Indian deathlock! Rhino growls and beats the floor in pain as Randy gets up and drops back again and again before his opponent finally fights his way up hobbling on the injured leg. Randy however fights back and the two men begin throwing punches in the middle of the ring with Savage getting the better of Rhino whom he lifts up and nails with an inverted atomic drop! While Rhino is on all fours Randy runs the ropes to build momentum as he comes back with a kick to Rhino's gut. "The Man-Beast" rolls over and grabs the ropes as he pulls himself off but Randy is right on top of him and runs him head first into the corner turnbuckle! Rhino staggers about and walks right into a vertical suplex! Savage makes the cover! 1...2... Rhino kicks out! Keeping on him "Macho" traps "The Beast" in a side headlock as he fights toward the ropes crawling inch by inch. He isn't going to make it though and in a fury battles out with back elbows at Savage. He rolls out of the ring and Mongo comes over to help him. Inside the ring Randy Savage is back on his feet and grinning menacingly before he runs at them and leaps over the top rope in a suicide dive! He hits both members of Destruction Inc. head on and all three men spill onto the floor. Bodies are everywhere and nobody is getting up too fast. Mongo Vyle is up first and moves onto Savage, but gets a warning from the ref and backs off. Randy is up next and begins putting the boots to Rhino before pulling him up to his feet and smashing his head into the guardrail! Only it doesn't connect as Rhino grabs the bar and blocks it! He backhandes Savage and grabbing him brains him into the steel barricade! He does it again before whipping him hard into the aporn and charges in for a clothesline! Randy falls in a heap and bloody is trickling down his head. Rhino pulls him up to his feet and rolls him into the ring. Entering he leaps on "Macho Man" with a standing splash making the cover. 1!...2!... Randy kicks out! Rhino is angry and getting up to one knee traps him in a side headlock. "Macho Man" is fighting it and begins hammering his foot into the canvas! He fights his way to one knee as "The Man-Beast" holds on tight and continues to his feet where he takes Rhino down with a snapmare before delivering a leg drop. Rolling back to his feet Savage puts the boots to Rhino before signaling for the Flying Elbow Drop! He climbs up the ropes with opponent still down when Mongo Vyle hops up onto the apron and pushes Randy down to the concrete floor! "Macho" hits the ground hard as S.D. Jones calls for the bell. This one ends in a D.Q. Meanwhile Rhino is back up and has rolled outside the ring. He lifts Randy up to his feet and throws him back against the guardrail while Mongo Vyle picks up a steel chair! Debbie Combs is screaming at Steve Corino to help him; but Corino just smirks and seems to be pretending not to listen as Vyle raises the chair and hammers it home on Savage's head! He's bleeding more as he hits the floor again and Mongo raises it for another swing! But it never comes as it is pulled away! "The Machiavellan Mauler" turns about to see Steve Corino?! Steve has the chair and shoves it into Vyle's gut before smashes him over the back with it! He is down and Rhino backs off as Steve Corino holds the chair up threateningly and yells at him to get to the back. Debbie Combs checks on Savage who seems to be in another world as the...

03/28/95- Richmond Coliseum Richmond, VA"Mean" Gene Okerlund and "The Genius" Lanny Poffo welcome us to the Richmond Coliseum in beautiful Richmond, Virginia. Poffo says that Virginia depresses him. And when Gene asks why he says it's the stuff poems are made of. Okerlund then moves on saying he certainly doesn't want to hear any of Lanny's "poetry" and talks about last week's show which saw an upset when the team of Brickhouse Brown and Butch Reed defeated the Tag-Team Champs The Lawlers in a non-Title bout; and in the Main Event we witnessed a brutal confrontation between "Macho Man" Randy Savage and "The Man-Beast" Rhino. We're sure to hear more about that here tonight.
The commentators then hype tonight's card which will see New York Giant linebacker Lawrence Taylor make his in-ring debut. Against ten men! Also in a huge Main Event the Inter-Promotional Champion "The Long Island Loud-Mouth" Chris Jericho will face a true legend in Jerry "The King" Lawler. But first we'll be seeing the number one contender for the ECW Championship "Rugged" Ronnie Garvin in action. The Lady Alexandra then makes the intros for the first match of the night.Match: Ronnie Garvin vs. Devon Hughes With his tag-team partner Spike Hughes at ringside; Devon Hughes gives an impressive showing against the veteran Ron Garvin. Devon gets a two count following a sidewalk slam; but "The Rugged One" makes Hughes submit in the end when he locks in the sharpshooter following his patented Garvin Stomp. After the match he has refereee Danny Davis fetch the microphone for him. He is sweating and says that while that punk Jericho might not be right about much; he was right about one thing. Old Ronnie Garvin isn't looking any prettier. And he certainly isn't getting any younger. Now he knows his time in this here sport he loves is limited and he knows the current ECW Champion is a man of integrity. A man of his word. But he's damnded tired of waiting. So Arn? When's it gonna be?After several seconds the Eastern Heavyweight Champion "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson steps from the back. He has the ECW Title around his waste. He congratulates Ronnie Garvin on his victory here tonight. And then tells him he's right. The wait has been long enough. You see ol' AA always lived in Ric Flair's shadow. He isn't gonna lie. And it's a pretty big shadow. But here at Eastern Championship he had a chance to rise to that next level. Become a World Champion. And he took hold of that chance. Made it his own. And now that he's here. Now that he's reached that plateau he's going to prove he's always had what it takes. That he is a fighting Champion. So Ron Garvin; former NWA Heavyweight Champion; wants a Title shot? Well it's on. Next week at the J.S. Dorton Arena in Raleigh North Carolina; Eastern Championship's first show in the Carolinas; it's on.Back from the break "Mean" Gene and Lanny discuss the big news we heard before the break concerning next week's show where "Rugged" Ronnie Garvin will face off against ECW Champion "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson for the Title!Match: Beulah McGillicutty vs. Rockin' Robin Former Women's Champion Beulah McGillicutty breaks her losing streak in this fast paced match which she ends by hitting a moonsault off the top onto Rockin' Robin to earn the three count from referee S.D. Jones. Before the match we're taken backstage where the disbolical Mr. Fuji is seated with ECW President Eric Bischoff. Fuji says that his men want another shot at the Tag-Team Championship. That his team was robbed three weeks ago when that fool American S.D. Jones disqualified "The Japanese Buzzsaw." Bischoff says he saw what happened and that Jones made the right call. But there wasn't technically a winner. So what Eric is planning on doing is setting up a Tag-Team Fatal Four-Way Match in two weeks and The New Orient Express as well as Destruction Inc.; and the team of Brickhouse Brown and Butch Reed will be in it. And the winner of that match will face off against The Lawlers at ECW's next big event; Hardcore Heaven!Tag-Team Match: The New Orient Express vs. Deep South Taka Michinoku starts things off with Junkyard Dog. Taka gets some early offense in on JYD dropping him with a picture perfect hurrancanrana; but trapping the Dog in the corner with several chops proves to be a mistake when Junkyard nails him with a forearm before climbing up to the second rope and nails him with a jumping headbutt. From there Deep South takes over with some quick tags working Michinoku over until Dick Murdoch hits him with a Calf Branding off the top for a long two. The southern boys continue to dominate until Taka manages to reverse an Irish whip and as JYD hits the ropes Mr. Fuji lets him have it with a cane to the back. The ref doesn't see it and charging across the ring Taka hits a dropkick that sends the already wobbly Dog out to the floor. Michinoku moves to tag in Yoshihiro Tajiri but there's trouble afoot. "The Japanese Buzzsaw" is refusing to tag in and the two men begin shoving one another. Finally Mr. Fuji restores order and Tajiri tags in. He immediately hits a springboard suicide dive onto the recovering Junkyard Dog on the outside sending both men crashing back down to the ground. Yoshihiro keeps on him but as JYD battles his way back up to his feet he surprises Tajiri with a facebuster against the guardrail. He then climbs back inside and tags in Dick Murdoch. The "Captain" waits for Yoshihiro to reenter and begins stomping on him. Tajiri however recovers and the two men battle back and forther for a while until "Captain Redneck" nails the "Buzzsaw" with a brainbuster. He makes the cover; but Taka Michinoku breaks the count with a diving legdrop off the top. He helps Tajiri to his feet and the two men begin bickering again as they lift Murdoch to his feet and whip him across the ring. He comes back strong however with a running double clothesline! He tags in Junkyard Dog and together the two men run Michinoku out of the ring before Murdoch picks Tajiri up and uses him as a punching bag. Referee Danny Davis has Dick leave the ring but the damage is already done as Junkyard Dog nails Yoshihiro Tajiri with a headbutt and follows it up with the Thump! powerslam for the win. After the match the Orient Express is busy arguing with one another as ECW heads to...Back from the break "Mean" Gene reminds us that next week Eastern Championship Wrestling will be coming to us live from the J.S. Dorton Arena in Raleigh, North Carolina and that while tickets for that show are now sold out; those folks who missed out or not in the area have no excuse not to join us right here on ECW's home station of TNN The Nashville Network next week.Lawrence Taylor is already in the ring. He says that Chris Jericho is a no-nothing, no-talent loud-mouthed punk and that at Hardcore Heaven he's going to whoop his ass good. And have fun doing it. He says that he has heard his critics. That Lawrence Taylor may be one hell of a football player; but he's never stepped foot inside a wrestling ring. He's never had a match and doesn't have what it takes to get the job done. Now it may be true that "L.T" doesn't know how to wrestle. And that may matter if he was stepping into the ring with ECW Champion Arn Anderson; but he's not. And his lack of experience isn't going to matter one bit dealing with a pipsqueak like Jericho. And he's going to prove it here tonight! Ten men then head down to the ring. They are Bart Sawyer, Bobby Starr, Doug Basham, Flash Flanagan, Jason Knight, Michelle Starr, Mike Quackenbush, Reckless Youth, Sean Royal; and Shane Helms.Handicap Match: Lawrence Taylor vs. 10-Men Quackenbush enters the ring first. Each man gets some offense in; but Lawrence Taylor makes short work of all ten men, systematically hurling them from the ring. Afterward Lawrence Taylor is cheered by the fans and he promises that what he did here tonight is only a taste of what he's going to do to "The Long Winded Loud-Mouth."Before the match Steve Blackman stands silently by while his manager Captain Lou Albano cuts a promp on his latest man he's going to lead to the gold; "The Silent Assassin." He rambles on about how dangerous he is telling Taylor that his entrance musice "Welcome to the Jungle" is actually about Steve Blackman's beard. He then advises "The Superstar" that he'd better not run; because it won't help; because while Steve Blackman may not know where Scott lives he knows where he's gonna die.. Match: Scott Taylor vs. Steve Blackman Scott Taylor puts up a decent fight and keeps Steve Blackman on his toes; even nearly picking up the win after hitting a Tornado DDT out of nowhere following an Irish whip. Lou Albano however tugs on Taylor's boot and while Scott argues with Albano and the referee; Danny Davis didn't see it. This gives Blackman enough time to recover and as Scott Taylor turns about he receives a kick to the ribs and falls victim to a bridged Fisherman's Suplex for the loss to "The Silent Assassin."Back from the break Scott Taylor is thanking ECW Champion Arn Anderson for an ice pack he has on his head. "The Enforcer" is telling Taylor he has to focus on what's going on inside the ring, that these "managers" like Albano are masters of distraction and all it takes is a moment's hesitation to lose a match out there. Scott says he learned that the hard way and begins to thank Arn for his advice when in walks... "Macho Man" Randy Savage! He smacks Taylor on the back of the head and he jumps up looking defiantly at the former World Champ who is with "Hot Stuff" Debbie Combs and Steve Corino. Savage mocks Taylor "Wah, wah, wah" while rubbing his eyes. He tells him he lost. And to get over the little bump on his head. Things look like they're about to get heated as Anderson starts to talk; but instead in walks...ECW correspondent Terri Runnels! She distracts Randy Savage who is busy gazing at her ample... assets while she asks him about last week's show and if he's proud of his protegee Steve Corino coming to his rescue. In the background Anderson chuckles at this and leaves with Taylor. Randy asks her to repeat the question; but cuts her off half when when he starts to telling her "Macho Man heard you. He ain't deaf." He says that first of all kid Corino here didn't do no saving last week. That he interfered in Savage's business. Yeah. See Macho was just lying in wait. Like a viper. Ready to strike that fat ass Mauler. Dig it. He can take a couple hits to the head. Yeah. When out of nowhere Corino here comes and mucks things up. Now he and the "Macho Man" had a little heart to heart see. Set things straight. Put things in there place. The kid has moxie. But Randy Savage don't need no help from no one. And for what they did "Macho Madness" is gonna run wild on those two Destruction Dorks. Dig it. Ooooh yeah!
Back at ringside Poffo suggests that maybe Savage took one two many chair shots to the head over the years. Okerlund says he isn't agreeing with that.... but he's not disagreeing either. "Rock You Like a Hurricane" then hits and out struts "Rock 'N Roll" Buck Zumhoff! He boogies his way down to the ring while Okerlund hypes season 2 of ECW Slammin' Saturdays right here on TNN The Nashville Network. Lanny asks what day it's on and "Mean" Gene rolls his eyes and sighs. Zumhoff is dancing for the crowd still when "Fucking Hostile" by Pantera rips through the arena and out storms "The Man-Beast" Rhino!Match: Buck Zumhoff vs. Rhino S.D. Jones officiates this one in which Buck Zumhoff doesn't fair to badly as long as he keeps out of Rhino's reach. He plays hit and run as much as possible; but whenever "The Man-Beast" catches hold of him it's a mess. Rhino ends up catching Zumhoff in the corner and begins hammering his head in before hoisting him up onto the top turnbuckle and hammers him into the canvas with a huge superplex. Buck is out as Rhino makes the cover. 1!...2!... "Pomp and Circumstance" hits! Rhino snaps up and looks toward the ramp where "Macho Man" Randy Savage is riling up the crowd.Rhino begins jawjacking and pointing at him as a stirring Buck pops up and schoolboys him! 1!...2!...3! Buck Zumhoff has won it! And he's smart enough to get right out of the ring afterward as Rhino looks up at the ramp pissed to find nobody there."Mean" Gene and Lanny then hype tonight's Main Event which Okerlund is anticipating telling us that "The Long Island Loud-Mouth" Chris Jericho and "The King" Jerry Lawler have never stepped foot in the ring against each here in ECW before. Perhaps ever. He claims it has the making of a classic.
Alexandra: The following Main Event is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first from Manhasset, New York weighing in at 226 lbs. he is the Inter-Promotional Champion "The Long Island Loud-Mouth" Chris Jericho!Jericho has a Title and lets us all know it. He holds it up in the air proudly and polishes it a bit here and there inside and out of the ring before handing it over to referee Danny Davis. He then gets on the microphone and tells us that what alot of the dolts in the crowd tonight may not know... yeah, the definition of dolts. Go look it up. What they also might not know however is that last Wednesday the world was treated to a double dose of the world's greatest wrestler; "The Long Island Loud-Mouth" Chris Jericho! Because the same day he was trouncing Devon Hughes here on ECW; he was also over in Japan winning the Super J Cup! Now some of you may be asking how could Chris Jericho be in Virginia AND Japan in the same day? Well maybe if you were as amazing as "The Loud-Mouth" you'd know. At any rate he's not here to talk us to death. Tonight anyways. Tonight he's going to show you his monumental winning of this here Super J Cup trophy! He then points to the big screen.
First we see a clip of him pinning "Flyin'" Brian Pillman with the lionsault. This is soon followed by him hitting a big moonsault off the top onto Jushin Liger (Tajiri) to get the pin in the second round. We then see Chris score another pin after hitting the Flying Elbow Drop onto Super Delfin (Taka)! And finally we see Chris Jericho about to get superplexed by Wild Pegasus (Rhino); when Jericho reverses the tide in mid-air and... hits the Osaka Street Cutter!
Jericho then picks up his Super J Cup Trophy and kisses it before thanking all his competitors in the Tournament last week for being lesser men. He is then interrupted by The Bill Conti Overture.
Alexandra: And his opponent tonight weighing 243 lbs. from Memphis, Tennessee; he is one half of the Eastern Tag Team Champions; Memphis' favorite son Jerry "The King" Lawler!Main Event: Chris Jericho vs. Jerry Lawler Jerry comes to the ring with his Title around his waist and as he enters the ring Chris Jericho snatches his Inter-Promotional belt from Davis. He holds it up in front of Lawler's face and begins talking trash to him but Jerry doesn't seem impressed. He shrugs and points to his own belt. Chris then pushes "The King" and Lawler fires back with a hard right that sends Jericho reeling back into the ropes. Davis does grabs the "Loud-Mouth's" title as Jerry continues to hammer on him. After being stopped by Davis he removes that Tag Title and hands it over. When he turns back to Jericho he receives a dropkick for his troubles. Chris stalks his prey and allows Lawler to get back to his feet before taking him down with a running clothesline that drops him back into the canvas. He keeps Jerry down with a series of kicks and disrespectful smacks "The King." The crowd gets behind Jerry as he stumbles to his feet as Chris continues to the assault with punch after punch. Lawler gets in a few shots; but Jericho is in control and whips him across the ring where he takes his opponent down with a back elbow before pulling him up and whipping him into the corner. He hits Jerry several more times before attempting another whip. But this time Lawler reverses it! Jerry moves in and begins hitting Jericho, but the IP Champ hits his way free with an elbow before jumping up to the second rope for a springboad double axe-handle! "The King" catches him in the gut however and Chris goes down hard. Jerry lowers the strap and the fans begin to cheer as he proceeds to hand Jericho a beating. He takes Chris down with a snapmare and dropping to his knees begins raining down punches on the "Loud-Mouth's" skull! The ref finally puts a stop to it and Chris pleads with Jerry as he backs away on his knees. Laughing Lawler looks to the crowd and gestures to the "Champ." Chris hits him in the gut. He then grabs his legs and goes for the elevated Boston Crab! This could be it! But Lawler fights out and flips Jericho down to the mat! The two men leap up and begin firing punches back and forth until Jerry drives Chris back into the ropes where he sends him flying across the ring with an Irish Whip! Lawler runs in for a clothesline; but Chris leaps up onto the ropes and comes back with a springboard enzuiguiri kick. Jerry hits the mat hard and Jericho hooks the leg. 1!...2!... Lawler kicks out! Chris is pissed and getting up stomps on him before running the ropes. Springboard moonsault! But "The King" has his knees up and driving them into Jericho's mid-section! Chris reels in pain and stumbles dropping to his knees by the ropes. Jerry is back up and plods over where Chris is begging for mercy. None is given as Lawler begins hammering on him! He drags him into the middle of the ring by his hair kicking and screaming as he sets up the piledriver! But Jericho drops down on one knee and hammers his forearm into Lawler's crotch! Davis sees it and calls for the bell awarding the match to Jerry via DQ as Chris jumps to his feet and begins stomping a mud-hole into Lawler! He drops and rolls from the ring and picks up the Inter-Promotional Title holding it up as the fans boo him. He smiles maniacally before rolling back in with the belt looking to cause more damage. When he gets up to his feet however he finds himself staring face to face with New York Giant Lawrence Taylor! Jericho's eyes bug out of his head as Taylor hits Jericho with a hard right! The arena goes crazy as Jericho flies back across the ring and backs off like a scolded dog. He yells at Taylor who helps Jerry Lawler to his feet. The two men shake hands as Chris heads to the back with his Title and trophy and L.T. raises Jerry's hand in victory.
Lights Fade.

03/31/95 - Virginia"Here I Am Rocking Like a Hurricane" by The Scorpions plays as "Rock 'N Roll" Buck Zumhoff appears on the set of a brightly colored talk show set with a Rock 'N Roll/Wrestling theme. He boogies his way out and high fives several cheering kids and their parents before getting on the stage before them. He then introduces himself as AWA Legend and former Lightweight Champion; and wrestling's one and only true "Rock 'N Roller" Buck Zumhoff!'He then welcomes everyone to the another episode of Slammin' Saturdays season 2! He says he has a very exciting show lined up for all the little "Rock 'N Rollers" out there! He heads over to the broadcast booth when "White Train" by Tito & Tarantula hits?! "Rock 'N Roll" looks a bit confused as out walks ECW President Eric Bischoff! "Captain" Lou Albano who is already at the broadcast booth shouts out "Pink slip!"Eric laughs and says that isn't what this is about. Not yet anyway. But he is out here to retire a wrestling relic. Something WAY past it's expiration date. "Captain Lou?" asks Buck. "Close;" Eric snaps back. But what he had in mind tonight was that excess baggage around Buck Zumhoff's waist. Not that beer gut; but the AWA lightweight Championship. He tells Buck it's time to shelve that tired thing because he has something new and more relevant than the AWA here for him today. And that something is... the Eastern Light Heavyweight Championship!Danny Davis comes out from the back with Lady Alexandra and show off ECW's newest Title. Eric goes on to say that for the time being this Title will be exclusively defended on ECW Slammin' Saturdays! Zumhoff thanks him for his new Championship. Bischoff chuckles and says he's not about to just hand him a belt. That here in ECW we take all our Titles seriously. So if Buck Zumhoff wants the Light Heavyweight Championship, he's going to have to earn it. And he's going to give him that chance next week in a special Fatal Four-Way Match right here on ECW Slammin' Saturdays!
Buck thanks Bischoff for the opportunity before joining Lou Albano at the broadcast booth. "The Captain" just doesn't get how someone as mediocre as Buck gets a Title shot. Zumhoff tells him he might've gotten one too; if he would've spared a porkchop or two.
Joel Gertner handles the intros.Mongo Vyle vs. Al Green "Big" Al Green is a big guy and holds his own against "The Machiavellan Mauler" Mongo Vyle in the early going. But he ends up pissing Vyle off and in an impressive show of strength Vyle brutally tears green apart causing referee Danny Davis to break them up several times. This doesn't help Al Green who ends up on the receiving end of a Mongo Masher sitout full nelson atomic drop which puts him down for the count. After the break we learn from former New York Giants linebacker Lawrence Taylor that the letter T stands for Tackle. Something "L.T." has done 1,088 times.Tiffany vs. Brandi Wine Young Brandi Wine gives Tiffany a decent fight, getting a two count after hitting triple rolling snap suplexes. Tiffany however is too much for her and after failing to get her to submit using the La Cavernaria modified surfboard; she switches tactics and ends up taking her out with the Iconoclasm off the top.Next we see a promo with the Hardy Boyz. It shows vignettes of their high flying offense and the duo discuss how the world is changing in a new direction. That people want to write off their generation as nothing more than slackers. But they're just scared of the truth. That their generation; Generation X; is taking over popular media. That they're changing every industry they touch, through independent films in the movie industry to the Seattle grunge sound taking over the world of music. And now The Hardy Boyz with their high flying, high risk moves are set to take the wrestling world by storm. And some people want to stand in the way of that progress. But they'd be best to stay out of the way of team extreme. The Hardy Boyz vs. The Cavalry The Hardy Boyz are out in the ring first moshing their way down to the ring. Once they're inside a man in a mask appears on the ramp and he's carrying... a trumpet? He blows on it and two other masked men come trotting out like they're on horses while the third man follows behind clapping a two coconuts together making a trotting sound. Jeff and Matt Hardy look like they're undecided on whether they are angry or want to laugh. This quickly changes when Cavalryman # 1 removes his white glove and smacks Jeff Hardy in the face with it. The Hardy Boyz quickly go on the offense and though they definitely get the better of the masked men, the newcomers are surprisingly skilled (and sort of move like Edge and Christian). The Cavalry nearly score the upset when the third man while still on the outside blows the bugle as Matt Hardy goes for the Twist of Fate on Cavalryman # 2. Matt grabs his ears in pain as Matt is scooped up and hit with a back body drop for a two count. This has pissed Jeffy Hardy off and entering the ring he charges across and launching himself over the top rope comes down hard on Cavalryman # 1 and the Bugle Player in a suicide dive! Inside the ring meanwhile Matt Hardy has recovered and after dominating Cavalryman # 2 for a bit hits him with a diving legdrop off the top for the three count.
Zumhoff then says that he knows these kids like Wrestling; but do they love Rock'N Roll as much as "The Rock 'N Roller" Buck Zumhoff himself? He then sends us to a music video feautring the entrance music of The Hardy Boyz in Nirvana's "Teen Spirit."Nirvana - Smells Like Teen SpiritFinally Buck Zumhoff says that time is almost up for this week's show and that it's now time for Slammin' Saturdays Main Event feature; the Wrestling Rewind. He says that this week's Rewind is from back on June 15th of last year when then ECW Champion "Macho Man" Randy Savage fought Devon Hughes in the Main Event. It was a finale full of shocking twists and turns, as you'll soon see.6/15/95 Main Event: Devon Hughes vs. Randy Savage Devon Hughes is as tough as they come and proves it in the bout as he trades shots with the Eastern Heavyweight Champion while Debbie Combs does her best to distract him on the outside. The match spills to the outside seeing Randy Savage deliver the double axe handle and Hughes whip "The Macho Man" into the steel steps. The audience really comes alive at one point when Hughes connects with his patented spinning elbow and gets close to the three count. In the end however Randy Savage nails a scoop slam following a high knee smash that gets him the three count on Devon from referee Teddy Long.
Randy Savage has little time to celebrate his victory however when Arn Anderson makes his way to the ring! It looks like things are about to heat up when Anderson gets on the mic and tells Randy how much he doesn't like him and how he'd like nothing better than to put him away for the three count right here and now; and strip him of the Eastern Heavyweight Title; that he doesn't deserve. Savage tells him that if that's the way he feels he should bring it and that Anderson has always been a second-rate punk riding Ric Flair's coattails. The two men look ready to come to blows when Anderson holds out his hand to Savage and tells him that their match next week isn't about them. That they have bigger fish to fry. And that they need to take Papa Shango and his cronies out for Miss Elizabeth. "Macho Man" looks like he still wants to fight; but eventually takes Arn's hand and says that he'll do this. For Liz.
Just then however Papa Shango appears on the ramp with Brickhouse Brown and Manami Toyota as the lights go dim and smoke fills the arena! Voodoo drums are heard as Shango cackles and tells Randy Savage and Arn Anderson that they shouldn't be worried about him. Because neither man will make it to next week's match. Just then the lights go out and when they come back on the ring is surrounded. Surrounded by Rick Rude, Jerry Lawler, Brian Lawler, Erin O'Grady, Scott Taylor, Chris Jericho; and a host of others. All of the men standing outside the ring now bear the same scar on their back that Manami Toyota and Brickhouse Brown have! Debbie Combs is scared and flees into the crowd and at a signal from papa Shango; nearly the entire roster leaps into the ring and attacks Randy Savage and Arn Anderson. The two men put up a valiant effort; but there're too many attackers and they go down under a sea of punches and kicks. At another signal from Papa Shango however the attack stops and he makes his way down to the ring with Brown and Toyota in tow. Inside the ring Shango cackles again over a bloodied and beaten Anderson and Savage. Ordering Brown to lift Anderson up; Shango takes "The Enforcer" and nails him with an inverted shoulderbreaker. He then does the same to the Heavyweight Champ. Shango stands over their lifeless forms and cackls as the voodoo drums continue.
Lights Fade.
