02-01-95 - Commack Arena Commack, NYMean Gene and Lanny Poffo welcome us to another exciting edition of Eastern Championship Wrestling; tonight coming to us live from the Commack arena in where else? Commack, New York. Poffo wonders how they came up with such an inventive name. He scoffs that Long Islanders must be geniuses. They then discuss the events seen on last week's show including the huge upset as "Macho Man" Randy Savage defeated ECW Champion "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson. Okerlund says that this is just the kind of momentum Savage needs going into the King of the Mountain PPV next week; where he will challenge Anderson in a rematch for the Title. Speaking of Championships; last week The Lawlers became the new ECW Tag-Team Champions when they defeated The New Orient Epress. "Mean" Gene says that he's sure The Express won't take that lying down to which "The Genius" reminds him Yoshihiro Tajiri already did. They then run down tonight's card focusing on the Main Event which will see ECW Champ Arn Anderson in action against "The Man-Beast" Rhino!Just then "Thunderkiss '65" by White Zombie hits and out comes Long Island's hometown hero; Chris Jericho. Jericho says that the moment all of New York has been waiting for has arrived. That FINALLY "The Long Island Loud-Mouth" himself; Chris Jericho; is back on Long Island! He hypes up the crowd a bit before getting down to business; and that business is that blow-hard from Cincinnati Pete Rose! He says that on last week's show "Charlie Hustle" had the audacity to come out here and put his hands; or bat more accurately; on his pal Big Bad John. Gave him a pretty good whack too. Sidelined him for a couple weeks. But that's okay. Cause Jericho don't need John. No. Chris Jericho, "The Long Island Loud-Mouth" needs nobody. Nobody at all to get into that ring in just one week and slap the chewing tobacco right out of Pete Rose's buck-toothed mouth. And he wants all his Long Island fans to tune in and root him on February 9th at King of the Mountain as he proves once and for all that the only reason baseball players like playing with balls so much; is because they don't have a pair of their own.
Lady Alexandra then announces the first match of the night. After Junkyard Dog and Dick Murdoch arrive in the ring accompanied to "Another One Bites the Dust" by Queen; the Hardy Boyz make their tag-team debut as they arrive on the ramp with "Loaded" by Zack Tempest playing.Tag-Team Match: Deep South vs. The Hardy Boyz It's an impressive debut by the high-flying brothers in this match officiated by S.D. Jones. The Hardy Boyz keep Deep South on their toes with Matt Hardy hitting Whisper in the Wind on Dick Murdoch in the corner and later Jeff nails the Junkyard Dog with the senton bomb. "Captain Murdoch" breaks up the pin attempt however and they fail to keep the veteran team on Deep South down. A little over ten minutes into the match Murdoch climbs up top and begins hammering on Matt Hardy who was looking for a flying crossbody and Jeff comes in to make the save. Junkyard Dog however gets in and puts a stop to it and after laying into Jeff with several hard rights and lefts knocks him from the ring with a massive headbutt. He then exits the ring just as Dick Murdoch connects with the Calf Branding off the top before picking up the win for his team.Back from the break "Mean" Gene puts over the Hardy Boyz as an impressive new team here in ECW. Lanny says they just looked like a couple of losers to him; but he supposes he'll give them a B- for effort.Match: Erin O'Grady vs. The Lion-Heart (Chris Jericho) After tossing his gold coins to the crowd "The Leprechaun" Erin O'Grady puts on a fast-paced, exciting match with the masked man introduced as Lion-Heart. After several nearfalls from both men; Erin O'Grady puts the luchador down for the three count from Danny Davis with his signature Lucky Charm lifting double underhook implant DDT.Match: Luna Vachon vs. Jacqueline Moore After a brutal contest between the two women "Mad Dog" Luna Vachon and "Miss Texas" Jacqueline Moore that keeps referee S.D. Jones busy; Moore pins Vachon with a bridged German Suplex.Within seconds of her win "Hot Stuff" Debbie Combs appears on the ramp with Women's Champ Beulah McGillicutty. Combs is clapping. She says that while Jacqueline looked real impressive out there tonight; Luna Vachon is no Champion. That she just doesn't have what it takes to win the gold. And last week when Moore beat McGillicutty? It was a fluke. That every dog has their day and "Miss Texas" had hers. But next week Jacqueline Moore had better be ready to have her dreams of being a three time Women's Champ dashed yet again.Getting the mic from Lady Alexandra; Jacqueline tells Debbie that she's getting real, real tired of her. That she's got a big mouth but last she checked; she ain't wearing no gold either. And if he memory is correct she has never, ever worn the Women's Championship here in ECW. She tells Combs she's washed up. A has-been riding Beulah's coattails. But the way Jacqueline figures it? Debbie Combs is going to put herself in her Title Match next week either way. So why not just call a spade a spade here and now. Next week? Let it just be a Triple Threat.
Combs smiles and seems to think this over a bit before telling Moore that she's twice the fool she thought she was if she thinks she can defeat both her and her girl Beulah. She says if Jacqueline is that desperate for a beat down? Well then; she's on. Beulah McGillicutty doesn't seem to know what to think of this turn of events. When Eastern Championship returns "Mean" Gene reminds us that next week ECW will be coming to us live from Viking Hall in Philadelphia Pennsylvania and that those folks at home should tune in as usual right her on the home station of ECW; TNN The Nashville Network. He then goes on to say that the show at Viking Hall is just one day before Eastern Championship's second ever Pay Per View Event; King of the Mountain! He says on this huge show ECW Champion "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson will defend his Title against former Champ "Macho Man" Randy Savage and that "The Long Island Loud-Mouth" Chris Jericho will defend the entire sport of wrestling as he takes on one of its' biggest critics; baseball should-be Hall of Famer Pete Rose right there in his hometown of Cincinatti, Ohio! Also at the Riverfront Coliseum that night the King of th Mountain Match itself in which 30 men will fight in a huge over the top battle royal to challenge Eastern States Champion "Mr. Wednesday Night" Rob Van Dam that very night! All for the low price of $14.95. Only on PPV! Call your local cable provider so you don't miss out!
The Bill Conti Overture then sounds as Jerry "The King" Lawler appears on the ramp with his son Brian Lawler in tow. They're carrying their newly won Tag-Team Titles to the ring.Match: Jerry Lawler vs. Brickhouse Brown Danny Davis officiates in this hard fought match between old rivals Jerry Lawler and Brickhouse Brown. Brickhouse is in top form looking to put Jerry away; hitting him with not one but two swinging neckbreakers during the course of the match; receiving a near fall from each. Jerry himself looks to have one it after hitting the diving fist drop; but Brown continues to impress when he manages to kick out before the three. The end comes however when while in control of the match Brickhouse Brown is beating Jerry into the ropes; but "The King" manages to block an elbow to the face and keeping hold of Brickhouse's arm whips him across the ring. Just as he hits the ropes however Brian Lawler seizes the opportunity and smashes Brown in the back with his Tag-Team Title! Brickhouse doesn't know what he was just hit by and Davis didn't see it; but the end result is Brickhouse Brown staggering forwared right into a Piledriver from "The King" A three count later and Jerry Lawler has won it.Pomp and Circumstance soon hits as "Macho Man" Randy Savage emerges from the back with "Hot Stuff" Debbie Combs and Steve Corino in tow. He tells us that last week in Burlington, Vermont we witnessed a preview. Dig it. A coming attraction of events to come. Of victories on the horizon. For when he put the ECW Champ "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson down on that mat 1-2-3 he was putting the world on notice. On notice that the true Eastern World Heavyweight Champion "Macho Man" Randy Savage would soon be reclaiming what was rightfully his. Yeah. Stripping the belt off that pretender AA in one week's time at the Riverfront Coliseum. In Cincinatti, Ohio at King of the Mountain where we, the world; will bear witness as "The Macho Man" proves as he has time and time again; that he is the greatest wrestler, the most powerful force that ever laced up boots. That ever stepped foot in this here squared circle. Oooh Yeah!!!After severals seconds Randy's eyes bug out as "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson appears on the ramp and heads down to the ring. He has the ECW Heavyweight Title around his waist. Once inside he asks Randy if he's finished. Arn says that he's been at this game, been fighting his way through the ranks of this business for a long time. He say that in some ways he's been successful. In some circles he's considered the best in the business. But in others? They couldn't tell you who "The Enforcer" is. He says there're also alot of gum flappers who step foot inside this ring. And "The Macho Man?" He definitely likes running his mouth. But he'll give Savage the credit he's do. He has... on occasion... gotten the job done. But last week? All ol' AA was reminded of last week is that this... harpy Savage comes to the ring with can be just about as dangerous in the ring as "The Macho Man" himself. That he knows how Randy likes to play his game. Win by any means necessary. And sure if Arn isn't careful it could be that little lady there; not that the word lady suits her mind; but she could very well be the deciding factor in Randy Savage stealing this Title from "The Enforcer." However: it ain't gonna happen. Y'see Arn should really be thanking Savage and Bischoff for that little "preview" match last week. Because Randy Savage hasn't been in this ring much since he lost to "The Enforcer" at Wrestle Annual. He's been inconspicuous. And had Arn not been reminded of Randy's little "insurance policy" there last week? AA may've forgotten about her. And it may have cost him the one thing that's going to make everyone remember the name Arn Anderson. And that's this belt. The Eastern Heavyweight Title. And the only way Randy is going to be leaving the Coliseum with it next week is by prying it from "The Enforcer's" cold, dead fingers. You can bet your ass on that.Match: Scott Taylor vs. Yoshihiro Tajiri Scott Taylor gives Yoshihiro Tajiri a decent fight but he's clearly out-skilled by "The Japanese Buzzsaw" who gets him to submit via the Octopus Stretch in this match refed by S.D. Jones.
After the match Tajiri's manager Mr. Fuji gets on the mic. It's obvious neither man is in a good mood as Fuji congratulates Jerry "The King" Lawler on his win last week when he defeated his New Orient Express for the Titles. He mentions Lawler's win tonight as well as says that it appears Jerry is having a lucky streak. But he had better beware because eventually everyone's luck runs out and in two weeks The Lawlers will become ECW's shortest reigning Tag-Team Champions when The New Orient Express enact their rematch clause and take back the Titles that're rightfully theirs. Mwahaha. When we return Gene Okerlund informs us that this next match was requested by Kaz Hayashi. Lanny laughs and says that Hayashi is a nutjob for actually wanting to step in the ring with "The Machiavellan Mauler" Mongo Vyle. But he's sure that as violent as Vyle is he won't have any problem with beating the hell out of Mr. Kaz Hayashi again.
"Fucking Hostile" by Pantera hits as Mongo Vyle storms from the back arm in arm with the beautiful Takako Inoue. Just then Kaz Hayashi appears on the ramp and begins tugging on Inoue's other arm. He is pleading with her and looks to be on the verge of tears when Vyle lets him have it with a hard right. He beats him from pillar to post down the ramp before tossing Hayashi into the ring with Danny Davis who starts the match.Match: Kaz Hayashi vs. Mongo Vyle As the big man climbs up onto the apron Kaz Hayashi runs and leaps at Mongo Vyle connecting with a somersault plancha that sends both men spilling to the floor below. Hayashi is back up immediately and begins hammering Mongo with a barrage of kicks. While Mongo is busy recovering on the floor Kaz begins begging Takako Inoue again and she responds by slapping the taste out of his mouth! Mongo Vyle meanwhile is back up and in pursuit and after hammering on Hayashi he whips him into the steel steps. He laughs as Kaz tumbles over them. Turning toward Takako they begin making out. This enrages Kaz Hayashi who is back up on one knee nursing a bloodied lipe. Charging the couple Kaz springboards off the steel steps and nails "The Machiavellan Mauler" with an enziguiri kick! Vyle doesn't see it coming and falls forward on top of Takako; squashing her beneath him! Kaz looks horrified by this turn of events. But he hears Davis deliver the 8 count and rolls back in the ring. Kaz Hayashi wins it by Count Out! Just then Rhino appears on the ramp looking agitated and after having his hand held briefly in victory; Hayashi hightails it out of there. After "Mean" Gene and Lanny welcome us back from the last commercial break of the evening they talk a bit about "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson and his career; including his time in the Four Horsemen. They then discuss his match with Savage last week as well as his one here tonight. They wonder if perhaps ECW President Eric Bischoff is putting a little too much on AA's plate with his Championship Match at King of the Mountain next week aginst "Macho Man" Randy Savage looking on the horizon. Okerlund says that Anderson is a true competitor however and knows that whether he rises to the occasion or not; he'll do so as a true Champion.
Just then "Fucking Hostile" by Pantera hits for the second time tonight as Lady Alexandra makes with the intros.
Alexandra: The following non-Title Match is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first from the bowels of Detroit Michigan weighing 270 lbs.; he is "The Man-Beast" Rhino!
Rhino stalks about the ring while referee S.D. Jones looks on. He climbs up to the second turnbuckle and throws his arms up into the air posing for the crowd. Alexandra: And now introducing his opponent this evening. From Rome, Georgia weighing in at 255 lbs.; he is the ECW Heavyweight Champion; "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson!Main Event: Arn Anderson vs. Rhino At the start of the match Arn Anderson looks to shake hands with his opponent; but Rhino smiles smugly and slaps it away. Anderson looks to S.D. Jones who sounds the bell. Rhino is young and hungry and goes for the cheap shot; but Anderson sees it coming and catching Rhino's hand fires back with several punches of his own. He lays into Rhino driving him back towards the ropes before whipping "The Man-Beast" across the ring. On the rebound however Rhino surprises "The Enforcer" with a shoulder tackle knocking the Champ down to the floor where he begins hammering on AA with rights and lefts and clubbing elbows. He begins choking Arn out with his huge forearm. Jones breaks it up giving Anderson some breathing room but Rhino is right back on top of him with a stomp to the face. He begins driving his boot into Arn's skull; but Anderson manages to catch him by the boot and toss him back down to the mat. Clambering up to his feet Arn nails Rhino with a quick knee drop to the chest. Getting back up quickly her follows it up with a fist drop before stumbling to the other side of the ring to catch a breather. Rhino meanwhile is back up but a little shaky. Running over to him Anderson kicks him in the face sending his ass back down to the canvas. AA captures "The Man-Beast" in a headlock. Rhino screams in pain and looks like he may be out of it for a minute; but he fights his way back to his feet. Arn clings to him only to be tossed over landing on his own ass before he is scooped up for a huge suplex by Rhino who makes the cover. 1!.. 2! Arn kicks out. Keeping on top of his opponent Rhino lifts the ECW Champion up to his feet wailing on his head and back but Anderson pushes him off him and comes back firing on all cylinders! He hammers Rhino into the corner before climbing up to the second turnbuckles where he begins reigning down the punches; delivering all 10 before executing a Frankensteiner! As Rhino crashes hard into the canvas "The Enorcer" goes up top surprising the crowd. Perched in the corner he waits for Rhino to stagger up to his feet before coming down with a forearm smash! Rhino counters however and hiptosses the Champ across the ring! Arn bounces down and up to his feet in the corner as Rhino comes charging in with the striking spear! He delivers several body strikes to the Champ before Arn gets his leg up catching Rhino in the face. As Rhino reels back Arn grabs hold of him and throws him into the corner where he begins hammering on him again! Rhino is out of it and Arn steps aside letting his opponent step into the ring before he hits him with an inverted Atomic Drop! Rhino hits the ground face first and Anderson drops down, rolls the big man over and hooks the leg. 1!...2!... Rhino kicks out! Back up on his feet Anderson is sweating as he delives several knee drops to Rhino before going for the figur-four! Rhino howls in pain as the move is locked in; but he refuses to submit! Uses his massive legs he manages to flip over and reveres it catching Arn off-guard! It's now Anderson's turn to scream before he manages to kick Rhino over and get the figure four locked back in! Rhino's gotta tap! But he doesn't. Instead he manages to drag both him and Arn to the safety of the ropes where Jones has a reluctant Anderson break the hold. While Rhino uses the ropes to pull himself to his feet; his legs look like Jell-O. AA immediately begins hammering on his opponent whom he runs head first into the turnbuckle! As Rhino staggers back Arn Anderson charges him and takes him down with a lariat! Once again down on the floor Anderson climbs on top of Rhino making the cover. 1! Rhino kicks out! Anderson looks a bit stunned but picks the big man up to his feet only to be hit with an uppercut! "The Man-Beast" looks like it's painful to walk; but he hits the Champ with several hard rights and lefts driving him across the ring before Irish whipping Anderson! On the rebound Rhino looks to scoop Arn up; but Anderson blocks the suplex wrapping his arm and leg around Rhino's. A stunned Rhino attempts to lift him again; but instead Arn Anderson pulls Rhino down to the mat surprising him again and rolls him up! 1!...2!...3! Anderson has won it!
Lights Fade.

02-08-95 - Viking Hall Philadelphia, PA"Mean" Gene Okerlund and "The Genius" Lanny Poffo welcome us to the Viking Hall in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for an epic edition of Eastern Championship Wrestling; just one night before the company's second Pay Per-View Event; King of the Mountain! They discuss the King of the Mountain match to take place tomorrow as well as "The Long Island Loud-Mouth's" upcoming match with Pete Rose to prove who is the superior athlete; wrestlers or baseball players. They then welcome to the broadcast table a very special guest; former player of the Philadelphia Phillies and Cincinatti Reds; and all-time baseball great; Pete Rose! Poffo reminds Gene he forgot the Montreal Expos; but that's alright because everyone should. Rose shakes hands with both Lanny and Gene; thanking them for having him. They chitchat about Pete Rose's baseball career for a while before Okerlund questions him about his somewhat controversial view of the sport of wrestling. Pete says that it isn't too contreversial; that most real athletes think professional wrestling is a joke. Nothin but a bunch of costumed ninnies running about pretending to fight. He says if they had any real guts; these -so-called wrestlers would be boxers or maybe in the UFC. Gene then asks if this means he isn't concerned about stepping into the ring with someone half his age in "The Long Island Loud-Mouth" Chris Jericho. Rose says Jericho is a snot-nosed punk that needs to be taught a lesson in reality. He says that Chris can go check the record books; he has the highest amount of career hits in baseball. And soon he'll be adding having the most career hits in wrestling when he caves in Jericho's skull. Lanny Poffo says that he realizes Jericho can be a bit on the flambouyant side at times; but would Rose want to step into the ring with someone like the ECW Heavyweight Champ "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson? Pete Rose says no. He wouldn't. He's got no problems with "The Enforcer" and would prefer to keep things that way.
The three men then discuss tonight's card which will see the Tag-Team Champions The Lawlers in action as well as the Women's Champ Beulah McGillicutty and the Eastern States Champion "Mr. Wednesday Night" Rob Van Dam; in what may be his last night as Champion; his Title being put on the line during the King of the Mountain Match tomorrow night. Pete Rose admits he is a little curious to see the Chain Match in tonight's Main Event between "Ravishing" Rick Rude and the Junkyard Dog. Okerlund asks why is that and Rose says that is seems like it'd be hard to fake hitting somebody with a chain. Lanny then asks if Pete would like to place a friendly wager on that match. Rose doesn't look amused by this.Lady Alexandra then introduces the competitor's in tonight's first match. Canada's Greatest Athlete comes to the ring waving his Canadian flag while Doink heads to the ring on his unicycle.Match: Mike Sharpe vs. Doink the Clown Danny Davis starts the match and Mike Sharpe beats the living hell out of Doink the Clown. Doink does get some offense in but it doesn't amount to much and "Iron" Mike sends him tumbling to the mat after nailing him with his signature running forearm smash. Sharpe goes for the pin but shakes his head before the two is delivered and lifts The Clown up to his feet. After hammering on him for a bit he whips him hard into the corner and looks to superplex him off the top. Doink however has other plans and as Mike grabs him he sprays him with liquid from the flower on his lapel! As Mike Sharpe drops from the second rope to the floor; Doink the Clown grabs him and hits the Whoopie Cushion before stealing the win.Tag-Team Match: The Lawlers vs. The Hardy Boyz Both teams get in some nice offense; but The Lawlers are clearly too much for the Hardy Boyz. The end comes when Jeff Hardy goes for the senton bomb on Brian Lawler; but he manages to roll out of the way leaving Jeff to crash into the canvas. He then goes up top himself and hits The Tennesse Jam picking up the win for the Tag-Team Champs from referee S.D. Jones. After the match The New Orient Express storm the ring and begin fighting with The Lawlers who are worn out from their match. The Express toss both Jerry and Brian from the ring and Mr. Fuji gets on the mic. He tells them that this is just a taste of what the so-called Tag-Team Champs will get next week; when The New Orient Express enter the ring and walk out the three time Eastern Tag-Team Champions; leaving those two hayseed heroes The Lawlers as the shortest reigning Tag-Team Champs in this company's history. Mwahaha.Okerlund, Poffo; and Rose discuss the last match. Pete criticizes The Hardy Boyz saying that had he wanted to see acrobats he would've gone to the circus. He advises that if those two weirdos actually want to win a fight they might try throwing a punch here and there. "Mean" Gene and Lanny then discuss the Eastern States Champion "Mr. Wednesday Night" Rob Van Dam whom we'll see in action next and how he's held that Title since King of the Mountain last year. Holding the belt for 365 days is an impressive feat to say the least. They then talk about the predicament he's in tomorrow night. After th King of the Mountain 30-Man over the tope Battle Royal; the winner will face RVD for the Eastern States Championship. Lanny says that this should be Van Dam's easiest Title defense yet. Just imagine if the first man in the ring ends up winning and then has to face the fresh Champion. There's no way he'll lose. Okerlund isn't so sure. "Mean" Gene then informs Pete Rose that his opponent Chris Jericho will be participating in the Battle Royal and asks him if he thinks this will effect the outcome of their match afterward. Pete Rose says that he's 53 years old and that "Loud-Mouth" is in his twenties. If the punk has any edge at all it's that he's full of energy. So if anything it'll level the playing field. Lanny asks if that's why he hobbled Jericho's associate Big Bad John who'll be out for several weeks after Rose hit him in the knee with a baseball bat. Rose grins and smugly tells Poffo that you could say that.Match: Rob Van Dam vs. Steve Blackman This match barely gets under way when "Ich tu der weh" by Rammstein hits and both Rob Van Dam and Steve Blackman turn toward the ramp to find nobody is there. When they turn back to fight however; The Blitzkrieg is in the ring! Referee S.D. Jones wastes no time bailing from the ring as the huge masked man grabs Van Dam and Blackman by the throats delivering a vicious double chokeslam. For once "The Silent Assassin's" manager Lou Albano is rendered speechless as he watches his charge Blackman sweeped aside in the ring as The Baron Von Raschke enters.Once inside the ring microphone in hand Von Raschke says he wants to bring us all back to last year. He says that at King of the Mountain his charge The Blitzkrieg was robbed by that no-good cheat of a Pollock Rob Van Dam when he enlisted his friends to help him eliminate "Mangler's Monster." He says that since that day Van Dam has done everything in his power to duck facing The Blitqkrieg man to man, one on one in a fair fight. And that tomorrow night will be no different because before his charge hands the Poles the most devastating blow they've felt since 1939; he's going to have to tear apart and destroy, crush beneath his boot heel the entire roster. Thirty men will feel The Blitzkrieg's wrath before he walks out of the Riverfront Coliseum with what is rightfully his; the Eastern States Championship. And that this time "Mr. Wednesday Night" won't be able to depend on his friends to save him; because tomorrow night The Blitzkrieg and the Republic of Germany will be bringing friends of their own to even the battlefield."Mean" Gene Okerlund and Lanny Poffo welcome us back from the break and re-introduce the fans joining us late to their co-host for the night; Pete Rose. They then remind us that Eastern Championship's next broadcast The King of the Mountain which will be held live from the sold-out Rivertfront Coliseum in Cincinatti, Ohio will take place tomorrow February the 9th and for those folks at home can only be seen on Pay Per-View. Okerlund then informs us that next week's show will be right back here on ECW's home station of TNN The Nashville Network coming to you live from the Brendan Byrne Arena in East Rutherford, New Jersey. It's sure to be an action-packed show and with two Championships on the line at King of the Mountain we may very well be seeing some big shake-ups at that event.Women's Championship Triple-Threat Match: Beulah McGillicutty vs. Jacqueline Moore vs. Debbie Combs Jacqueline Moore seems to have bitten off more than she can chew here having asked for this match in which the Women's Title worn by Beulah McGillicutty is on the line while "Hot Stuff" Debbie Combs is in the ring legally by her side. McGillicutty does however seem hesitant to employ double team tactics at first; allowing Jacqueline to get in some nice offense early on hitting Beulah with a birdged German Suplex for a two count. Combs however breaks up the count with a boot to Moore's stomach and when McGillicutty gets back up blood is running down her face from a bloodied nose. This pisses her off and the double-teaming starts in earnest. "Miss Texas" doesn't stand much of a chance as the two hellcats lay into her; though referee Danny Davis does his best to keep things fair. Things look bad for Jacqueline when Combs coordinates and delayed vertical suplex with McGillicutty on her that lays Moore out cold. "Hot Stuff" then signals for Beulah to head up top for the moonsault! The Women's Champ goes up top and hits hits! As she scrambles to make the pin however she receives a rude awakening when Debbie kicks her in the gut and hits Beulah with a swinging neckbreaker right on top of the unconscious Jacqueline Moore! Combs then covers them both! 1!...2!...3! Debbie Combs is the new Women's Champion!
While the ring is cleared out Poffo and Okerlund discuss this sudden turn of events. "Mean" Gene just knew that that harpy Debra Combs was up to no good and she's proved it here tonight. Pete Rose meanwhile is quite impressed with Combs and asks if she's single. Poffo tells him that she's attached to "Macho Man" Randy Savage but he shouldn't let that goof stop him. Rose says never mind.Just then "White Train" by Tito & Tarantula hits as ECW President Eric Bischoff swaggers his way down the ramp. Inside the ring Bischoff gives his usual speech about being all about the business before talking about tomorro's Pay Per-View Event; King of the Mountain! He says that he realizes that last year it was on free television; but to keep up the high standards ECW have bringing us the best and brightest stars in wrestling today as only Eastern Championship can; it's an unfortunate side effect of business that for such a mega event as King of the Mountain there has to be a nominal fee of only $14.95. But to sweeten the deal; at no additional cost all subscribers will be mailed a full-color catalog loaded with deals and specials on ECW merchandise! So if you're looking for Eastern Championship hats, shirts; or toys we've got your hook-up right here!
Now he's heard there're some questions regarding this year's King of the Mountain Event. Last year the eventual winner of the match "Mr. Wednesday Night" Rob Van Dam became the first ever and still current Eastern States Champion. This year having an active Champ already; we obviously don't expect to have RVD battle his way through 30 men just to attempt to retain his Title. Instead this year and in all years with a sitting Champion; the Champ will be exempt from the Battle Royal itself. The thirty men in the match itself will now compete in the over the top rope Battle Royal until only one man remains. That man will then earn the chance for a Title shot at the Eastern States Championship right then and there! He then thanks the fans for their continued support of ECW before we go to... Match: Brickhouse Brown vs. The Blitzkrieg Brickhouse Brown gets some offense in during the early goings of this match officiated by S.D. Jones. It doesn't get him anywhere however and once he gets his hands on Brown "Mangler's Monster" begins tearing "The Man of the Hour" apart. Tossing him up into the corner after battering him for over five minutes The Blitzkireg busts Brickhouse open with a hard right. Jones attempts to separate the men; but is quickly pushed aside. He calls for the bell and awards the match to Brickhouse Brown by DQ. This doesn't stop The Blitzkrieg however as the big man hoists Brown up into the air and gorilla presses him!
Suddenly the crowd comes alive and before anyone knows what's going on; "Hacksaw" Butch Reed is in the ring?! He is laying into the Monster with hard rights and lefts; driving him back into the ropes hard where he clotheslines him out of the ring! Devon and Spike Hughes soon join him inside the ring and the three men form a wall in front of the bloodied Brickhouse. Outside the ring the Baron Von Raschke holds his Charge back; telling him to save it for tomorrow while yelling at the three men inside the ring for interfering in his business. Lanny and Okerlund are just wondering what in the hell Reed is doing in ECW.When Eastern Championship returns to air we're brought face to face with "The Long Island Loud-Mouth" Chris Jericho in a pretaped segment. He is wearing a Baltimore Orioles jersey! As the camera pulls back we see that Jericho is holding a bat and is at Veteran's Stadium! Chris is smiling cockily as he says hello to Pete Rose and all thos incestuous perverts in Philadelphia who believe in "brotherly" love. The "Loud-Mouth" goes on to say that he's sure they can see where he's at. Good ol' Veteran's Stadium; home of the Philadelphia Phillies. What a dump. He says they should demolish it asap if you ask him. (and who did?) He goes on to say that they're probably all asking themselves what he's doing there. Well he figures being Pete Rose is throwing his old ass weight around his sport; he'd return the favor before stepping into the Riverfront Coliseum next week and beating ol' Charlie Hustle worse than the Orioles did to the Phillies back in '83!We then see a badly edited video montage of Chris Jericho at bat. We see along with other Phillies mishaps; Jericho hitting home run after home run off of Larry Anderson and Lenny Dykstra struggling and failing to catch any ball the "Loud-Mouth" hits. After this we're taken back to Jericho who mockingly wipes the sweat from his brow on a Phillies hat. By now the Phildelphia fans are booing and Pete Rose who is still at commentary is practically foaming at the mouth. Chris Jericho in the segment says that once again he's proven he's the best athlete in the world! And next week at King of the Mountain he'll be sure to prove it once again when he stomps Pete Rose and his beloved Cincinnati Reds into the dirt as only "The Long Island Loud-Mouth" can.Match: Yoshihiro Tajiri vs. Ronnie Garvin Danny Davis officiates as Yoshihiro Tajiri and Ronnie Garvin thrill the fans in this heated, non-stop battle which sees several momentum changes and nearfalls throughout. "The Rugged One" gets the first close three when while in the corner he nails "The Japanese Buzzsaw" with a DDT off the second rope. Tajiri later wows the crowd when he hits a monstrous suicide dive onto Garvin over the top rope which almost keeps both men out for the ten count. He also nearly picks up the pin at different time after hitting "Rugged" with a dragon suplex and a handspring back elbow. Ronnie meanwhile catches Yoshihiro in the figure four leglock from which he just narrowly escapes to the ropes, a rolling cross armbar which would've been successful had Tajiri's manager Mr. Fuji not interfered; and a suplex that got Garvin a close three. The end comes with while Ronnie Garvin delivers the Garvin Stomp; Tajiri manages to trip the veteran up with a toe hold that sends him into the ropes allowing "The Buzzsaw" to trap him in the Tarantula! Tajiri holds on for the full five count before letting Garvin go and heading up top; Yoshihiro Tajiri hits a recovering Ronnie Garvin with a missile dropkick that nets him a big win here tonight.Back from thr break Pete Rose is a calm now as "Mean" Gene and Lanny thank us for joining them here tonight; one day away from the second annual King of the Mountain Event. They remind us that the Pay Per View is only $14.95 and all subscribers will receive a free full color ECW merchandise catalogue. They then discuss the ongoing feud between "Ravishing" Rick Rude and the tag-team Deep South consisting of Junkyard Dog and "Captain Redneck" Dick Murdoch which started back on November 30th when Rick Rude used JYD's own chain to beat both men down, staight through to when Deep South crotched Rude on the steel ringpost; and JYD's challenging "The Ravishing One" to this match here tonight.
Rose then asks how exactly does one win this match and Poffo explains that both men will be chained together by one arm. The chain and anything else they can devise to use as a weapon are legal. And that the match can only be won by getting the key off the ref and unlocking themselves; effectively forfeiting the match. No doubt about it; this is a grudge match and neither man will be looking to let their opponent "Off the Chain" here tonight. "Another One Bites the Dust" by Queen then sounds as Junkyard Dog appears on the ramp rattling his chain and barking at the audience. It is already fastened to one of his wrists.
Alexandra: The following match is an Off the Chain match scheduled for one fall and can only be won by Submission; the loser uncuffing themselves from the Chain. Introducing first from Wadesboro, North Carolina weighing 280 lbs.; he is one half of the tag-team Deep South; JYD The Junkyard Dog!
Junkyard climbs into the ring and barks at the crowd who cheer him on. Oddly enough; there's no ref in the ring. Rick Rude's strip theme hits and he swaggers his way cockily down to the ring. Inside him and The Dog smack talk each other but Rude keeps his distance.
Alexandra: And his challenger this evening from Robbinsdale, Minnesota weighing 251 lbs. he is "The Ravishing One" Rick Rude!
Junkyard Dog wants to fight; but there's no referee and Rude just shrugs pointing this out. Just then a bullwhip sound is heard and out from the back steps... Black Bart?!Shouldn't he be in the GWF?!!Rick Rude's eyes bug out of his skull as he watches his former rival, a man whose wife he slept with; head down to the ring... in a ref's shirt! Rick Rude shakes his head in disbelief and he hops out of the ring. He looks like he's going to bail on the match. Inside the ring now Bart is order Rude inside the ring but he just keeps shaking his head and yelling as he backs his way up the ramp. The crowd begins to cheer however and as Rude turns to see what's going on he is blindsided by a hard right from "Captain Redneck" Dick Murdoch!Murdoch hits Rick with several punches before rolling the stunned man into the ring where "The Outlaw" Black Bart calls for the bell; starting the match.Main Event Off The Chain Match: Rick Rude vs. Junkyard Dog Now inside the ring Rick Rude is reluctant to take the chain from Black Bart, but eventually he gives in only to yank it hard wrenching Junkyard Dog's arm! This angers both Bart and The Dog; but Rude drops the chain and puts his hands up in peace backing off. Referee Bart attempts to get Rude to put the chain on his wrist again but he still refuses. Finally tiring of his antics Black Bart grabs hold of "The Ravishing One" and snaps the chain in place. Rick Rude is pissed and demands it be removed but JYD charges in and begins battering on his opponent. Rick looks to escape but he's attached to The Dog and doesn't get far. Finally in desperation Rude grabs old of the chain and tugs it while Junkyard does the same; neither man giving up any ground until "Ravishing" runs in with a cheap kick to the gut. Jumping up he slams both his fists into either side of The Dog's head dropping the big man to his knees before hammering him down to the floor with hard rights and lefts. With Junkyard down Rude winds the chain into his fist and as his opponent gets back up to his knees; he lets him have it with it! Junkyard quickly staggers back up to his feet only to receive a fist full of steel that sends him back down to the canvas where he rolls from the ring in a daze. Rude drags The Dog back in; but getting to his feet JYD puts on the break and the two men play tug of war once again until Junkyard begins using the chain to smash Rude's fingers! He loses his grip and falls back as Junkyard rushes him with a huge shoulder strike that send Rick back into the ropes. Using the chain wrapped about his hand The Dog choks Rude out before whipping him across the ring and then violently tugging him back towards him where he lets "The Ravishing One" have it with a big boot to the face! He follows this up with an elbow drop and staying down barks at the crowd before biting Rude's face! The crowd goes nuts and JYD gets back up to his feet wiping his mouth. Sliding out of the ring Junkyard pulls Rude out by his arm. Rick attempts to hang onto the bottom rope; but it's useless and dragged to the outside his face is soon introduced to the steel ringpost busting him open! The Dog slams his opponent into the post again before wrapping the chain tigher about his fist and letting him have it. Close to the ring; Rick Rude smartly rolls back in for a breather but not letting up Junkyard follows and pulling him up to his feet nails Rick with another fistful of chain! Rick limply throws a punch and Junkyard fires back. Soon the two men are going punch for punch inside the ring with Rude obviously being worse off until JYD takes him down to the mat hard with a clothesline. Drppping down to one knee behind him Junkyard Dog wraps the chain about Rude's neck. Rude's face is a crimson mask as he clutches at the chain screaming in pain. Black Bart pulls out the key and asks Rude if he surrenders. He obviously says yes; but Bar just mockingly cups his hand to his ear like he can't hear him. He then puts the chain key back into his pocket as Rude grasps for it in vein. Releasing his hold on Rude; JYD stomps on him before hitting a jumping kneedrop. He stands over his fallen foe and begins barking. Just then however a bloodied Rude springs to his feet and tackles him! Junkyard startled falls back into the ropes where Rick Rude in a fury begins hammering him with his fists and whipping him with the chain. The Dog attempts to escape but the enraged Rude follows him about the ring whipping him! A lash with the chain to the back sends Junkyard down to the floor and picking him up by his hair Rick tosses him from the ring before catching a breather. He heads over to Black Bart and demands the key from him; but Bart smiles smugly and shakes his head. With the chain balled inside his fist Rude lets Black Bart have it! Not backing down Black Bart hits him back and soon the two men are brawling about the ring until Rude catches the ref with a full nelson slam. Bart is down and Rude is rummaging through his pockets for the key. He smiles widely when he finds it. Rude justs wants out of this match. He goes to use the key when a hard tug on the chain sends the key flying through the air! Behind him Junkyard Dog is pulling himself up into the ring by it and while still on his knees he gives it a good yank sending Rick toppling down to the floor beside him! He isn't through with Rude yet! He begins hammering on "The Ravishing One" and lets him have it with a vicious headbutt that has Rick seeing stars. He then dumps Rude out of the ring to the conrete floor below. This proves to be a mistake as Rick is quick to his feet and pulls hard on the chain sending Junyard tumbling out after him! As The Dog stumbles back up to his feet on the outside Rick grabs hold of him and slams him face first into the guardrail! As he rolls up to a seated position on the floor we see that The Dog is bloodied now too! He continues hitting him while inside the ring referee Black Bart is back up on his feet. Rick Rude then lifts JYD up and slams him into the ringpost before looking for the key. He finally spies it inside the ring and sees that adazed Bart is headed toward it! He heads back inside and pushes Black Bart foward sending him into the ropes and down to the floor below. He scoops up the key and turns as he sticks it into the lock. Just then however he receives a fist to the face that sends him down to the ground! Junkyard is back up and in the ring. He stomps Rude and whips him a bit with the chain. Lifting "The Ravishing One" to his feet Junkyard hoists Rude into the air going for the Thump! powerslam. Rick however rakes the big man's eyes and falling to his feet lets him have it with a DDT! Junkyard Dog is down but Rick Rude cannot finds the key. Finally he rolls JYD over. It was under him the whole time! Rude grabs the key but stops before freeing himself. Instead he gets on top of Junkyard and begins screaming at him to submit! He chokes him out with his forearm and proceeds to dig the key into The Dog's face! JYD screams in pain but refuses to submit! Instead he grabs Rude by the arm and bites it drawing blood! Rick Rude screams and falls backward and soon JYD is on top of him. The two men roll about pulling and pushing and hitting one another until Junkyard stumbles to his feet. Rude is back up to and they begin hammering on one another once again until Rude gets behind The Dog setting him up for the Rude Awakening! Junkyard however tossing him up and over him with a snapmare and begins battering Rude about the head! Both men are covered in blood and look a wreck as JYD forces the chain into Rude's mouth and begins pulling on it like a bridle! Rick Rude fights it but can't wiggle free! JYD drops down behind him and pushes his feet against Rude's back while still pulling on the chain in his mouth! Eric Bischoff, Danny Davis, S.D. Jones and several of the wrestlers appear from the back and begin heading down to ringside. Even Black Bart enters and tries to calm Junkyard down as Rick Rude goes limp inside the ring. Finally Dick Murdoch enters and gets JYD to calm down enough that he lets Rude go. On the ground "The Ravishing One" begins coughing and choking as he lies broken on the floor. Junkyard Dog picks up the key off the mat and tosses it down at Rude who weakly picks it up and frees himself while Black Bart calls for the bell. He is off the chain and Junkyard Dog has won the match.
Lights Fade.

2/9/95 - Riverfront Coliseum Cincinatti, OH"Mean Gene" Okerlund and "The Genius" Lanny Poffo welcome us to the Riverfront Coliseum here in beautiful Cincinatti, Ohio for Eastern Championship Wrestling's second annual King of the Mountain event right here only on Pay Per View. They thank us for joining us here on what's sure to be an action-packed night. Of course the featured event tonight in the monstrous King of the Mountain match in which 30 of ECW's top talents will compete in an over the top rope battle royal. The winner of this battle royal will go on to face the Eastern States Champion "Mr. Wednesday Night" Rob Van Dam for the Title right here tonight!
But that's not all. Also in an interpromotional match ECW's own "Long Island Loud-Mouth" Chris Jericho will face Baseball's should-be Hall of Famer; the Cincinnati Red's "Charlie Hustle" Pete Rose who is looking to prove his belief that the sport of professional wrestling isn't a real sport and wrestler's aren't true athletes in a battle that should prove to be a true slobberknocker.
And then in tonight's Main Event; a tremendous rematch that we've all been waiting for when former ECW Champion "Macho Man" Randy Savage gets his rematch against the man who won the Title back at Wrestle Annual; the Eastern Heavyweight Champion; "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson!Just then "White Train" by Tito & Tarantula hits as ECW President Eric Bischoff swaggers his way down to ringside and enters receiving the microphone from the Lady Alexandra. He thanks her for it and then thanks all the folks here at the arena and (more importantly) those folks at home watching on Pay Per View for being here with us tonight! He says that the numbers are still coming in; but already the second annual King of the Mountain Event; the first on PPV; is an unmitigated success and that to celebrate he's giving away King of the Mountain t-shirts to everyone here at the arena tonight! And speaking of t-shirts; because we all know by now that when you see Eric Bischoff out inside the ring it can only mean one thing; business; is at hand. He has several new ones to show us here tonight! Several girls then come out wearing various new ECW shirts. Among them the King of the Mountain PPV shirt and an Erc Bischoff "Business is at Hand" one. He then tells the folks at home not to worry because the KOTM shirt is not exclusive to those here tonight; that they can order it and these new shirts as well as the entire back catalogue of shirts and toys by calling 1-800-BUY-ECW! He tells them to call early because we're running low on some of the original shirts and figures. But enough of that. People aren't here to hear Bischoff talk are they? Let's get to the damned wrestling!Alexandra: The following Match is the King of the Mountain Match and is an over the top Battle Royal with 30 entrants. Starting with two men inside the ring a new participant will be introduced at 2 minute intervals. Paricipants will be eliminated by being knocked or thrown over the top rope and hitting the floor until only one man remains. That man will then go on to challenge the Eastern States Champion "Mr. Wednesday Night" Rob Van Dam for the Title immediately following the Battle Royal itself. Introducing first from Robbinsdale, Minnesota weighing 251 lbs. he is "The Ravishing One" Rick Rude!
Rude's theme music hits. Okerlund and Lanny discuss just what condition Rude will be in tonight after his hellacious Chain Match with The Junkyard Dog the previous night. Poffo says that he's an idiot for even thinking of competing here tonight. After a minute "The Ravishing One" hasn't appeared and Lanny takes back the idiot comment. Maybe he isn't a fool after all. Just then Rick Rude emerges from the back looking battered and bruised as he makes his way down to the ring where S.D. Jones seems to be trying to reason with him. Rick Rude is just shaking his head.
Alexandra: And introducing at this time the second entrant; from Sea Isle City, Ne Jersey weighing 242 lbs. Steve Corino!
Poffo: Is this guy still on the payroll?30-Man King of the Mountain Match Jones starts the bell and Steve Corino is a vulture circling his prey. Rick Rude however stands tall and obviously in pain charges the young punk taking him down with a hard right. When Rude reaches down to pick his opponent up however Steve rakes his eyes. Popping up Steve Corino works over "The Ravishing One" but fails to eliminate him before the two minute mark when in comes...Kaz Hayashi who takes his time coming down to the ring. Once inside he signals to Steve Corino who has Rude down on the floor busted open that he'll help dump him dump Rick over. Shrugging Corino accepts and the two men lift "The Ravishing One" up and attempt to dump him over. He grabs the ropes however blocking their effort and nearly hoists them both out; but staggers back in pain falling to the mat. It's obvious his injuries the previous night are getting to him. Hayashi apologizes to Corino but "The Saviour of Sea Isle City" after accepting it kicks Kaz in the gut with a cheap shot and hurls him over the top rope to the floor below! Just then the buzzer sounds announcing the next competititor..."Another One Bites the Dust" hits! Sitting up on the floor Rick Rude shakes his head in disbelief. It's the Junkyard Dog! JYD barks to the crowd before running down and sliding into the ring! Corino runs in to attack but Junkyard barks at him scaring him off and he leaps upon the already battered Rick Rude. The two men begin trading punches on the floor and things aren't looking good for Rude as he is busted open by a savage headbutt by The Dog! Steve Corino meanwhile has nonchalantly perched himself on the top turnbuckle and claps as JYD hands Rude a sold beating until... The Bill Conti Overture hits and Brian Lawler arrives on the scene! Steve Corino is quick to hop down and Lawler attacks him driving him back into the ropes with a flurry of fists. He nearly knocks Corino right over the top rope; but at the last moment Corino ducks under Brian's arm and as he turns; Steve lays Lawler out with a DDT! Meanwhile across the ring Rude has managed to get Junkyard off him with an elbow smash to the face and using the ropes to keep his footing has begun stomping on JYD. Just then the buzzer sounds again bringing in..."The Man of the Hour, Too Sweet to be Sour" Brickhouse Brown! Running inside the ring Brown charges across and drops Rude over the side with a dropkick! Rick is lucky however and holding the ropes dumps out onto the apron where he rolls back in. Brown is too busy celebrating to notice this and lifts Junkyard to his feet and after an elbow to the back begins hammering on him. Steve Corino meanwhile hasn't managed to get Brian out and after blocking an attempt to throw him over the top rope he grabs Steve by the head and slams him headfirst into the turnbuckle dazing him and setting him up for a back body drop! The bells rings and on the ramp appears...Jerry Lawler! While the Bill Conti Overture still sounds Jerry runs in and quickly helps his son lift up Corino who they toss over the ropes to the floor below. They then eye up Junkyard Dog who's having some difficulty in tossing Brown over and running over hoist Brickhouse up and over to the outside! Junkyard meanwhile turns to see what just happened only to receive a double clothesline from both men! Junkyard Dog is gone! Leaving The Lawlers alone in the ring with a bloodied but slightly recovered Rick Rude until...Irish Folk music sounds? And out from the back comes "The Leprechaun" Erin O'Grady! He throws gold coins to the crowd while The Lawlers eye him wearily. Just then Rick Rude stumbles to one knee and connects with a low blow on Brian Lawler whom he quickly dumps out of the ring! Jerry swoops in to save his son and his own momentum carries him over the ropes! Jerry lands hard on his shoulder but manages to stay on the apron where he climbs back to his feet only to be punched in the face by "The Ravishing One!" The two men begins trading punches and Jerry is wobbling when Rude catches something out of the corner of his eye and ducks at the last second! O'Grady misses Rick; but catches Lawler with a dropkick that sends him off the apron to the floor below! And "The King" is looking mighty pissed as the bell sounds and out comes...The Blitzkrieg! Both O'Grady and Rude look stunned as "Mangler's Monster" plods on down to the ring followed by his manager The Baron Von Rascke! The big man climbs in and jumping up to his feet Rick Rude pushes Erin into him! He watches as the monster wastes no time in tearing apart "The Leprechaun" who he finally lifts up by the throat in a double-handed choke and hurls from the ring. Rude who's propped himself up in an opposing corner looks relieved when the next competitor arrives on the ramp revealing...Doink the Clown?! Aw man. Doink however refuses to enter the ring and The Blitzkrieg obviously wants him. Doink helped eliminate him from the King of the Mountain last year. Finally frustrated The Blitzkrieg drops and rolls out under the bottom rope where he chases Doink around the ring a bit until the two minute time limit runs out and the next participant is introduced...As Shane Helms. Rick Rude looks relieved as Shane heads down to the ring carefully avoiding Doink as he runs past him. He turns right into The Blitzkrieg! The Clown stupidly stops to laugh at Helms as the big man lifts him up into the air. "Mangler's Monster" tosses Shane Helms into Doink sending them both crashing to the floor. He then proceeds to pick them both up and roll them into the ring. The bell rings as Pantera's "Fucking Hostile" hits."The Machicavellan Mauler" Mongo Vyle scopes out the scene as Blitzkrieg delivers a double chokeslam hurling both Helms and Doink from the ring! The monster the looks up at Vyle and beckons him to the ring with a wave of his hand. Just then he is thrown forward and tumbles over the ropes as "Ravishing" Rick Rude hurls all of his weight into him from behind! Blitzkrieg clings to the ropes but he is too heavy and hits the ground hard. Mongo Vyle eats this up and begins laughing at the big man who back on his feet goes after him! Two minutes have passed and now "Captain Redneck" Dick Murdoch is on the scene! Not one to run from a fight; Mongo Vyle collides with The Blitzkrieg on the outside while Murdoch sidesteps them both and heads for the ring looking for Rude! Rick sees him coming and retreats to the other side of the ring. As Murdoch climbs inside Rick Rude flies at him with a jumping clothesline knocking Dick down to the ground. On the outside Blitzkrieg is introducing Vyle's face to the steel barricade. Keeping on top of Murdoch Rude stomps him a bit before lifting him to his feet. The pain of the lift is too much for Rick's battered body though allowing Dick to capitalize with an uppercut and a series of punches before whipping "The Ravishing One" into the corner hard. The bell rings and out comes...The 14th entrant is Canada's Greatest Athlete "Iron" Mike Sharpe! As he enters with his Canadian flag Mongo Vyle has just been hit with a back breaker by The Blitzkrieg and on the inside Murdoch has lifted the limp Rude up onto the top turnbuckle where punishes him further with a Calf Branding! Lifitng Vyle to his feet The Blitzkrieg drags him toward the ring and throws him in and signals for Mike Sharpe to get in. Rolling in himself Sharpe easily eliminates "The Machiavellan Mauler." Lanny Poffo claims that this teaming just proves what he knew all along: That Canadians are an evil people. At the halfway point The Kaientai theme hits as one-half of The New Orient Express; Taka Michinoku heads down to the ring. Once inside he is immediately attacked by the much bigger "Iron" Mike Sharpe and does his best to defend himself. Meanwhile Dick Murdoch is busy choking Rick Rude out against the ropes as he tries to throw him over the top. His teeth gritted, his face a crimson mask; Rude lands a lucky back elblow that frees him from the grasp of "Captain Redneck." The next man out is..."Rock 'N Roll" Buck Zumhoff! And the arena comes alive while he dances on the ramp before boogying his way down to the ring. The first entrant of last year's King of the Mountain; Zumhoff's luck seems to have improved this year. Inside the ring Taka Michinoku has dropped Mike Sharpe to the canvas with a picture perfect hurrcanrana while Rick Rude kicks Murdoch in the gut and in great pain manages to hit a back to belly pildriver on him. Both men are down and out when the bell rings announcing the next entrant...38 Special's "Wild Eyed Southern Boy" plays as "The Redneck Rebel" Doug Gilbert heads down to the ring. Gilbert doesn't last long. Once inside Mike Sharpe whips Taka Michinokua across the ring and looks to behead him with the running forearm smash. Taka however drops down and trips up the big man with a drop toe hold which sends him crashing into Gilbert. Doug goes out to the floor; but Sharpe manages to hang in there. Dick Murdoch and Rick Rude have managed to sit up but they still look out of it. Finally Buck Zumhoff moves in for the kill after spending his time pandering to the fans and tries to eliminate Murdoch. This proves unsuccessful as he fights back to stay inside the ring. Just then...Jeff Hardy rockets his way down to ringside! He quickly forms an alliance with Buck Zumhoff and the two men whip Dick Murdoch across the ring before eliminating him with a double running dropkick! They exchange a high five while Mike Sharpe attempts to elimate Taka Michinoku with a powerbomb. At the last second however Michinoku grabs the ropes and uses his legs and Sharpe's momentum to toss Canada's Greatest over the side stunning him. Rick Rude is busy keeping to himself but Taka Michinoku doesn't allow that to last long."Testify!" Devon Hughes is on the scene and charging in he grabs Taka and decks him before doing the same to both Zumhoff and Hardy. He then grabs Rick Rude and drops him to the canvas with a delayed falling suplex. The only man standing Devon spins a bit and the crowd eats it up. Back on his feet Taka Michinoku charges Hughes only to be hit with a huge flapjack!Guns 'N Roses "Paradise City" then bursts through the arena and "The Superstar" Scott Taylor arrives on the scene! This distracts Devon who ends up the victim of a bulldog courtesy of Buck Zumhoff. "Rock 'N Roll" then signals to Jeff Hardy to help him; but their alliance proves to be short-lived when Hardy punches him in the face instead. He drives him toward the ropes and attempts to dump him over the ropes; but Buck fights back with a facebuster over his knee. Taka Michinoku is back up and is about to hit a missile dropkick off the top to a dazed Devon when Rick Rude jumps up and pushes him off! As Michinoku crashes down to the floor below and out of the match a new challenger emerges..."The Rugged One" Ronnie Garvin! Devon Hughes is an ingrate and once he's up he immediately repays Rick Rude for the "save" by beating him up in the corner while Buck Zumhoff almost eliminates Jeff Hardy who skins the cat to save himself. Once inside Garvin attacks Scott Taylor who trades punches with him; but is obviously outclassed when...The Kaientai Theme hits for the second time of the night. Yoshihiro Tajiri proves he's the smarter member of The New Orient Express; because he brings their manager Mr. Fuji to ringside with him. Ronnie Garvin delivers his knock out punch to Scott Taylor and soon "The Superstar" is super eliminated. Zumhoff didn't see Jeff reenter and soon finds himself caught off-guard by an inverted facelock neckbreaker slam. Yoshihiro Tajiri immediately charges Ronnie Garvin and takes him down by leaping at him with a strange wheelbarrow to armdrag transition move that sends Garvin flying while Rude is nearly eliminated by Hughes."The Long Island Loud-Mouth" Chris Jericho is in next and that is bad news of Ronnie Garvin. Jericho quickly teams with Tajiri to double-team the old veteran while Buck Zumhoff manages to eliminate Jeff Hardy in the corner. Devon Hughes pulls Rick Rude towards the ropes and sets him up for a suplex out of the ring; but the bloodied and battered Rude saves himself with a sitout jawbreaker. The bell rings and next in is..."The Silent Assassin" Steve Blackman! The 24th entrant is accumpanied to the ring by his manager Captain Lou Albano. Albano argues with Mr. Fuji on the outside while Jericho and Tajiri perform a double suplex on Ronnie Garvin sending him to the outside eliminating him. With that done the two men quickly turn on one another. Steve Blackman meanwhile has decimated Buck Zumhoff with several kicks and elimated him as well. And after battering him into the ropes with hard rights and lefts; an obviously tired Rick Rude grabs Devon by the leg and dumps him over the side! Rude, Blackman, Tajiri; and Jericho are all the remains inside the ring when The Baron Von Raschke reappears on the ramp? Is The Baron entering the match? He signals to the back as "Ich tu der weh" sounds for the second time that night and Aryan makes his ECW debut. Okerlund can't believe Raschke has another lackey and says this doesn't bode well for the Tag-Team division. Steve Blackman immediately attacks the newcomer with a series of kicks which Aryan does his best to block as he falls back before moving in with a superkick that sends Blackman down hard. He lifts him up and tosses him over the ropes; but Blackman hangs on and the two men begin trading punches until Aryan grabs him by the head and takes him out with a jawbreaker on the top rope. Rick Rude moves in quickly and attempts to dump Von Rascke's charge over the ring; but Aryan hangs on.Butch Reed is out next? Okerlund informs us that they've learned Reed is now a part of the ECW roster after some confusion when he attacked The Blitzkrieg on last night's broadcast. Reed continues to be a thorn in Von Raschke's side when he throws Rick Rude aside and takes Aryan down with a short-armed clothesline before removing him from the ring with a gorilla press slam onto Von Raschke on the outside! He slaps his hands together before turning about where coming alive again Rick Rude decks him! Tajiri and Jericho are still going at it and after taking his opponent down to one knee; "The Japanese Buzzsaw" drops "The Loud-Mouth" like a sack of potatoes with The Shining Wizard. Young Adam Copeland is next inside the ring and quickly makes the mistake of interfering in the raging battle between Rude and Reed. Turning toward the young rookie; they double deck him out of the ring. Lanny calls Copeland a maroon. Meanwhile Yoshihiro Tajiri has picked up Chris Jericho and run him out of the ring as well. Okerlund wonders if we'll see a repeat of last year where Yoshihiro Tajiri faced off against Rob Van Dam in the finals. He has got to be a favorite here tonight. An annoying buzzing is head and Lanny thinks he is having a flashback. B. Brian Blair appears on the ramp for the first time since Jim Brunzell's retirement match in December. Inside the ring "THE Killer Bee" makes a B-line straight for Tajiri whom he catches off-guard by tackling him and driving both of them over the top rope! Blair has eliminated Tajiri and himself! Fuji is pissed and attacks Blair on the outside with his cane; but Blair catches it mid-swing and slaps Fuji down across the face with it!"Jailhouse Rock" by The Blues Brothers rocks the arena for the second time as little Spike Hughes joins the fray. Poffo marvels at this guy's luck. He was the 30th entrant in last year's Battle Royal and is the 29th here tonight! Okerlund reminds us he was also the last man eliminated before RVD and Yoshihiro Tajiri were narrowed down as the final two. Spike Hughes is all heart and although clearly outmatched he attacks Butch Reed granting Rick Rude a temporary respite after getting layed out by a spinebuster courtesy of "Hacksaw." The bell rings and the final entry of King of the Mountain 1994 is..."Fucking Hostile" by Pantera sounds across the arena as "The Man-Beast" Rhino enters. Lanny says this could mean some serious trouble. Rhino is a big guy and he's fresh. Sliding into the ring Rhino charges Butch Reed slamming him hard with The Gore striking spear while he Reed is preoccupoed beating little Spike Hughes. The force of the spear sends Reed into the ropes hard and Spike helps him out of the ring with a striking spear of his own he calls the Battering Ram. This seems to have winded Spike who falls back on his ass. He isn't seated long when Rhino launches him from the ring with a release powerbomb. Rhino looks very pleased with himself and doesn't see Rick Rude is back up until it's almost too late. He turns and catches Rude as he throws a punch and fires back. Rude gets a few in but he is battered and bloody already as Rhino hammers him across the ring. As "The Ravising One" falls back into the ropes; Rhino pulls back for a clothesline; but Rude grabs the big man's arm and head butts him hard busting him open. Pulling Rhino in close he knees him in the balls before eliminating with with a release belly to belly suplex! Rude has won it! He's the 1994 King of the Mountain! "Mean" Gene can't believe it and cheers for "The Ravishing One" who after being brutalized yesterday, entered # 1 here tonight and has survived battling 30 men!
That seems to be the end of Rude's energy however and he slumps to the floor covered in gore. He looks a bit blank as blood trickles from the open gash on his forehead. Just then "Poundcake" by Van Halen hits and out from the back comes "Mr. Wednesday Night" Rob Van Dam with the Eastern States Championship slung over his shoulder. He points toward his shoulders as the fans chant "Rob... Van... Dam! Alexandra: The following contest is scheduled for one for and can only be won via Pinfall or Submission. Introducing the Eastern States Champion from Battle Creek, Michigan weighing in at 237 lbs.; he is "Mr. Wednesday Night" Rob Van Dam!Eastern States Title Match: Rob Van Dam vs. Rick Rude Inside the ring Rob Van Dam hands over the Eastern States Championship before sizing up Rick Rude who is still seated propped up against the ring ropes. Walking over to his challenger RVD extends his hand offering to help him up and Rude takes it; only to slam the Champ with a left hook! Springing to his feet Rick hammers on Van Dam as he backs across the ring into the ropes where "The Ravishing One" grabs him by th arm and whips him across the ring. On the rebound Rude swings for a clothesline; but RVD leaps up and nails a jumping corkscrew roundhouse kick. Underestimating his opponent Rob goes for the cover but only comes away with a two. He quickly grabs Rude in a side headlock. Rick is already hurt but fights. He soon begins to fade and Van Dam looks like he has the win well in hand when "Ravishing's" leg begins to stir. Some of the fans rally behind Rude as he begins swinging with back elbows wildly to free himself; finally grabbing hold of RVD's head and taking him down with a snapmare. Leaping up to his feet Rude connects with an elbow drop before hammering into the Eastern States Champ on the floor. Van Dam manages to block several shots from Rick before he rolls the challenger over and hits him with several punches and elbows. Getting back up to his feet Rob runs the ropes and coming back at the downed Ruden flips and lands on him. He punches Rick in his bloodied face as he lifts him to his feet and runs toward the ropes looking for a springboard bulldog. "Ravishing" blocks this however and throws Van Dam down at the ring; but Rob in an amazing display of agility lands on his feet. Popping up he grazes Rude with a jumping roundhouse kick to the face before laying into him with several kicks; finally dropping him with a roundhouse kick. Running toward the ropes again this time "Mr. Wednesday Night" connects with a springboard moonsault! He hooks Rude's leg! 1!... 2!... Rude kicks out just before the three! Van Dam looks a little frustrated as he hoists Rick up to his feet and immeditely flattens him with a Northern Lights suplex which he bridges! 1!...2!... Rick kicks out again! Rob complains a bit to referee S. D. Jones before turning back toward Rude who's up on one knee. He grabs Rick by the head and runs him into the turnbuckle. He goes to hit him into it again; but Rude blocks it and grabbing Van Dam bashes his face into the buckle instead. He does it again before swinging Van Dam into the corner and hits him with several shots to the abdomen. Mounting the second rope "The Ravishing One" begins raining down punches as Jones and the crowd begins the count. At four however Van Dam grabs ahold of him and spinning him about hits an inverted atomic drop which he follows up with a monkey flip! Rude sails across the ring and hits the canvas hard. As he climbs up to his feet he is knocked right down by a dropkick from the Champ who goes for the pin. 1!...2!... Rude gets his shoulder up! Back up on his feet Van Dam drags Rude up to his feet but his opponent pushes him away and hits Rob with a hard right. The two men trade several punches before Rick comes in with a clothesline and the Champ ducks it. Before he can turn about however; Rick Rude has set up the Rude Awakening! Rob blocks it however and transitions into a swinging neckbreaker on Rude. "Ravishing" is down and Rob Van Dam points to his shoulders as the crowd chants his name. He heads up top and signals for the 5-Star Frog Splash! This is it! As Van Dam moves to leap however he slips on the bloody turnbuckles and crotches himself! Seeing this as he rolls over onto his stomach Rick Rude lunges up and runs up the corner; and in one fluid motion delivers a superplex on Rob Van Dam off the top! His reserves gone Rude drapes his arm over the Champ! 1!...2!...3! Rick Rude has won it! Rick Rude is the Eastern States Champion!
We're then brought to ringside where "Mean" Gene Okerlund is amazed by the fortitude of "Ravishing" Rick Rude. Lanny Poffo just thinks he got lucky. They're then joined at ringside by "Rock 'N Roll" Buck Zumhoff who has his boombox in hand. Poffo says that this just proves Rude has all the luck tonight apparently; because now they have to talk to this goof. Okerlund aplogizes for his partner and tells Zumhoff that he was looking good out there tonight having eliminated bot "Captain Redneck" Dick Murdoch and Jeffy Hardy.
Buck says that's okay. That it's easy to talk trash from the comfort of a broadcast booth. He suggests to Lanny he should get back in the ring sometime. He then says that he's happy for Rick Rude; whom he says will be one hell of a Champion. The guy has guts. Zumhoff says that at least he know he gave it his all and had all the little "Rock 'N Rollers" cheering him on. Speaking of which he has an important announcement to make her today for all his fans. Next Saturday morning on February 18th all the hepcats should boogey their way over to TNN The Nashville Network to catch the season premiere of ECW Slammin' Saturdays; hosted by yours truly; "Rock 'N Roll" Buck Zumhoff himself!
Okerlund calls this big news before moving on to hyping the next match of the night. They replay the clip from Late Night with Conan O'Brien where Baseball legend Pete Rose blasted the sport of Professional Wrestling to ECW President Eric Bischoff who was a guest as well that night. They recap Eric's challenge for Rose to get in the ring with one of those "steroid induced jokes" and his acceptance. They then talk about how "The Long Island Loud-Mouth" Chris Jericho demanded to be chosen and by hook or crook defeated "Mr. Wednesday Night" Rob Van Dam who Bischoff had hand-picked to represent the company. They talk about Jericho and Rose's commentary back and forth since then including Jericho's handing Rose's old team the Philadelphia Phillies their asses at baseball last week and Rose's crippling of Jericho's "insurance policy" Big Bad John via a baseball bat. Big Bad now being on an indefinite leave due to his injuries at the hands of "Charlie Hustle."
Alexandra: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and can only be won by Pinfall, Submission; or Countout. Introducing first from Cincinatti, Ohio he is longtime member of the Cincinatti Reds with the all-time Major League hit record of 4,256; he is one of the greatest baseball players of all-time; "Charlie Hustle" Pete Rose!
Rose gets a big pop from his hometown crowd as he appears on the ramp wearing his Reds jacket and cap. Inside the ring he removes these and hands them to referee Danny Davis after waving to the crowd. Just then "Thunderkiss '65" by White Zombie hits and out from the back bolts Chris Jericho in a Houston Astros jersey?! Alexandra: And his opponent this evening from Manhasset, New York weighing 226 lbs.; he is "The Long Island Loud-Mouth" Chris Jericho!
The fans boo him and he takes to the microphone. He tells them to boo all they want. He says that last year the Astros had their number and would've clobbered their precious Cincinatti Reds had the baseball strike not saved their whiny asses. He says that tonight that's not going to happen. Tonight a winner is going to be declared. Because tonight Cincinatti? He don't see no strike here. Pete Rose asks Lady Alexandra for the mic and tells Jericho that's a real cute piece of fiction he's weaving. That next thing he'll be telling them the Atlanta Braves will win the World Series. He keeps it short and tells "The Loud-Mouth" if he's a man he'll can all the chatter and get his ass down to the ring.Inter-Promotional Match: Pete Rose vs. Chris Jericho Chris Jericho obliges him and charges the ring sliding in. Once inside he and Pete Rose begin trading punches with Rose driving "The Loud-Mouth" back into the ropes. Knocking Chris down onto the floor Pete hammers on him and attempts to rip the Astros jersey off him getting a huge reaction from the crowd when he tears it to shreds. Chris wisely rolls out of the ring and wipes his mouth as the two men yell at one another. Danny Davis starts the count and at 6 Jericho climbs back onto the apron. "Charlie Hustle" heads over and the two men start hitting each other again until Jericho grabs the baseball great by the head and drops him with a hairpull hangman over the top rope. Sliding back inside Jericho begins putting the boots to his downed opponent before connecting with a knee drop. Staying down he hammers Rose with several punches before Pete lets him have it with a knee to the groin. While Jericho complains in vain to the ref who didn't see it; Rose regains his breath before grabbing Jericho and lifting him to his feet. He begins Flair chopping him across the ring and into the corner where he gets up on the bottom rope and begins hammering Jericho; but "The Loud-Mouth" throws Rose off and he hits the canvas hard. Hopping up onto the top turnbuckle Chris stalks his prey waiting for Rose to get back to his feet where he hits him with a missile dropkick. He goes for the pin getting a two count on Rose. The fans boo Jericho as he begins yelling at Rose and slapping him in the head telling the "old man to stay down." Chris then kicks Rose in the face as he attempts to get to his feet and as he reels back hits him with a double-axe handle before whipping him into the ring right into Danny Davis! The ref falls from the ring while Rose cradles himself on the ropes. Taking advantage of the downed ref Jericho chokes Rose out against the ropes before turning him about and methodically hits him with several slow chops which angers the fans further. Rose staggers forward and grabbing him by his Reds shirt; Jericho nonchalantly tosses him from the ring. Rose crashes to the floor below but doesn't stay down long. Instead he begins rummaging under the ring skirt while "The Long Island Loud-Mouth" riles up the crowd. The fans begin to cheer suddenly and Jericho turns towards Pete Rose who jabs the handle of a bat into Chris' gut! As Jericho staggers in pain Rose clubs him over the back with the bat knocking him to the ground! The fans warn Rose that the ref is awake and he throws the steel bat from the ring making the cover! 1!... 2!... Jericho kicks out! 3! Pete Rose begins punching Chris as he stirs on the floor and gets himself up to one knee. Rose keeps hammering him; but Jericho just shrugs it off. He's holding his stomach but looks pissed as Pete continues to hit him until finally he grabs Pete's hand and takes him down with a clothesline! Once Rose is down on the floor Jericho begins putting the boots to him before finally grabbing Pete by the legs and goes for the elevated Boston Crab! Pete Rose screams out in pain but clutches for the ropes and Jericho very obviously allows his opponent to crawl closer to them before violently pulling him away and really puts on the pressure! The fans boo him louder and louder as Pete Rose taps giving the win to Chris Jericho who takes a minute to relinquish the hold. Davis holds Chris' hand in victory; but he isn't done yet. He leaves the ring and returns with the bat. A now injured Rose begs for Chris to stop but he lets him have it again and again with the bat while Davis gets him to stop. Finally he lets Davis pull the bat away from him and lifting Pete Rose up to his feet "The Long Island Loud-Mouth" runs him toward the ropes and throws his limp body out to the floor below. He then gets on the mic and laughs victoriously befre asking "Who's next?"
"Mean" Gene says that was certainly uncalled for and that Jericho should be ashamed of himself for beating a man nearly twice his age with a bat. Lanny says he's not so sure about that. He's thought about being "Mean" and beating someone older than him on occasion. Beside Poffo reminds Okerlund; Pete Rose introduced the bat first and turn about is fair play. Gene says that Jericho should try explaining that to the irate fans here at the Riverfront Coliseum. He's going to need a police escort out of here.
They then hype tonight's hufe Main Event which has been in the works since ECW's first PPV Wrestle Annual. Back on December 1st "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson defeated "Macho Man" Randy Savage for the ECW Heavyweight Championship after chasing the Title for almost a year. All Champions here as Eastern Championship are entitled to a rematch if they lose the belt and Randy Savage chose this night; at the 1995 King of the Mountain to make his stake at reclaiming the ECW Title. They then recap the feud between Anderson and Savage which began on ECW's very first broadcast back on December 1st 1993 when "Macho Man" eliminated "The Enforcer" from the Tournament to crown ECW's first Heavyweight Champion. They go over the usual storypoints; Savage and Anderson's brutal cage match, their team-up against The Dark Circle, Anderson's win at Wrestle Annual, Savage's antics of late with his "protegee"; and their "warm-up Match" almost a month ago when Savage defeated Anderson in a non-Title bout.
Alexandra: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and is for the Eastern Heavyweight Champion. Introducing first the challenger from Sarasota, Florida weighing 237 lbs. and accompanied to the ring at this time by "Hot Stuff" Debbie Combs and Steve Corino; he is "The Macho Man" Randy Savage!Pomp and Circumstance hits as "Macho Man" emerges from the back with his entourage in tow. Okerlund says seeing those two out here can't bode well for our Champion. He hopes Anderson brings some of his own. Lanny Poffo scoffs at this and says "The Enforcer" wouldn't think to do something like that, because well... he ain't what you'd call a "Genius." After posing for the crowd Savage takes off his coat and hat; and uses Corino as a coat rack again. Arn Anderson then appears on the ramp with the ECW Championship about his waist. He has a microphone in his hand.AA says that unlike Savage he doesn't have underlings. But what he does have is friends. Friends that begged and pleaded with him to come down here to the ring and watch his back. But that's not the way "The Enforcer" plays things. He doesn't play games. So he's only brought one man out here with him; and his name is... Eric Bischoff!Eric comes out and he says that he's talked to Arn Anderson. And that he saw Savage's "victory" three weeks ago. So in the interest of fairness he's decided that tonight; Steve Corino... and Debbie Combs are barred from ringside! Combs screams like a harpy over this and Danny Davis is forced to help her to the back; but Corino looks more relieved than anything.
Alexandra: And now on his way to the ring from Rome, Georgia weighing in at 255 lbs.; he is the Eastern Heavyweight Champion of the World; "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson!ECW Title Match: Arn Anderson vs. Randy Savage Savage is livid and paces the ring while eyeing Arn Anderson who heads down to the ring. Once inside he briefly poses with the belt before handing it over to acting referee S.D. Jones. The match is started and Randy Savage extends his hand to the Champ. Arn knows better however and hits Savage with a hard right. Randy looks stunned as Anderson delivers punch after punch driving him back across the ring into the ropes before whipping him across the ring and dropping the challenger with a kick to the gut. Randy rolls over to his knees and begins pleading with the Champ but AA isn't listening and keeps on hitting him as he backs him into the corner. He soon gets a surprise though when Randy drops his head between Anderson's leg and hoists him up onto the top turnbuckle head first. Anderson grabs hold of the turnbuckle while Savage grabs his legs and kicks him in the gut before dropping him. While "The Enforcer" hugs the turnbuckle Randy hammers on the Champs back until Davis breaks them up. Given somes air, Anderson turns about and walks right into a flapjack! Climbing onto Anderson Savage traps Arn in a headlock and works him over until Arn fights his way back up to his feet and hits Randy with a back body drop. Both men are down for several seconds before Savage sits up and shakes himself off in the corner. He eyes Arn up like a vulture as the Champ rises to his feet and charges across the ring looking for a flying high knee in the corner! Arn moves out of the way just in time and Randy smashes into it before tumbling out to the concrete floor below. Heading outside after him Arn picks Randy up and slams his head into the apron before climing back inside. He traps Randy is a rear chinlock until challenger begins putting his boot to canvas and fights his way out with a snapmare. He charges Anderson; but the Champ drops down low to the floor and his opponent runs the ropes instead. On the return Arn pops up and hits a deep armdrag sending Randy flying. Savage is quick to regain his foot and charges again only to fall victim to a second armdrag. Following "Macho Man" across the ring AA hits him with a knee drop before lifting to his feet and clubbing his back and neck. He then Irish whips Randy across the ring; but on the rebound Randy goes for a lariat takedown! He misses as Arn ducks under; but quickly comes back with a swinging neckbreaker that flattens "The Enforcer!" He goes for the pin. 1!...2!... Arn kicks out! Savage and Anderson are soon both back on their feet and trading punches. Arn is clearly winning until Randy grabs his opponent by the arm and knees him in the gut before going for a suplex. Arn blocks it however and hits one of his own bridging it! 1!..2!... Savage kicks out! Arn is sweating now as he grabs Savage by the legs and looks for the figure four! Randy however pushes his way free and climbing to his feet grabs the Champ in a headlock and begins hammering him in the head. Arn doesn't seem to know where he is and stumbles about; but "Mach Man" keeps on him until he whips him across the ring and charges in leaping over the ropes and nailing "The Enfocer" with a hairpull hangman! Arn drops back onto canvas while on the outside Savag hops up onto the turnbuckle and then like a cat onto the top rope! He launces off with a sprinboard flying elbow drop! And nobody's home! Arn rolled out of the way! Back on his feet AA grabs Savage's arm and wrenches it before dropping into an armbar! Randy screams in pain and clutches for the ropes! He wildly begins swinging at Anderson; but the Champ is holding tight! Savage grits his teeth as he inches his way towards the bottom rope! He has it! Arn is reluctant to release the hold but soon gives way to Jones' orders. Randy uses the ropes to pull himself up to his feet but Anderson is right there on him and begins hitting him with hard rights. When Anderson clubs him over the back of the head though Savage sees his chance and drops Arn with a shoulder thrust. He then delivers an elbow drop before realizing his mistake. He writhes on the floor holding the elbow he injured earlier and back up Arn scoops him up to his feet before hitting a back body drop on the challenger. Anderson makes the cover! 1!...2!... Randy kicks out!Anderson is looking frustrated as he helps Savage to his feet and runs him into the turnbuckle! As Randy staggers back he swings around catching Arn with a forearm smash! He begins beating on the Champ and hammers him down to one knee. He quickly hoists the Champ up looking for the snap DDT! But Anderson blocks it! Pulling his head free "The Enforcer" attempts to lift "Macho Man" into the air; but he holds his ground. Arn Anderson is quick to begin kneeing Randy Savage in the side again and again until he looks a bit shaky and then he pulls him up into the air and hits a gutwrench suplex! Randy hits the canvas hard as Arn scrambles to make the cover! 1!...2!...3! Anderson has defeated Savage! The Champ retains!
Lights Fade.

02/15/95 - The Brendan Byrne Arena East Rutherford, NJ"Mean" Gene Okerlund and "The Genius" Lanny Poffo welcome us to the Brendan Byrne Arena in East Rutherford, New Jersey for another exicitng edition of Eastern Championship Wrestling! Just one week after ECW's second PPV event; The King of the Mountain. For those who didn't order it (and shame on you) "Ravishing" Rick Rude entered at number one in the battle royal and in what can only be considered an epic win hung in there through the entire match and then went on to defeat the Eastern States Champion "Mr. Wednesday Night" Rob Van Dam for the Title! Rude will be in action here later tonight. "The Long Island Loud-Mouth" Chris Jericho will also be here tonight with a special message regarding his win over baseball great Pete Rose at KOTM. That and more here tonight!
Lady Alexandra introduces the first competitor as former Women's Champion Beulah McGillicutty heads down to the ring.
Beulah gets on the mic and she says that she's been naive. That "Hot Stuff" Debbie Combs claimed to be her friend and wanted to help her. But since the beginning she had her reservations. She never liked Combs' tactics and felt she was leading her down a dark path. And because she ignored the voices telling her to be wary of "Hot Stuff" she deserved what she got. She deserved losing the Women's Championship. But that doesn't mean she's going to take this lying down. Debbie Combs betrayed her and one day very soon she's going to make her pay.Match: Beulah McGillicutty vs. Rockin' Robin This isn't the same Beulah McGillicutty we saw last week. She's fired up and more sure of herself as she battles Rockin' Robin; evenutally getting the Pinfall from referee Danny Davis after hitting the moonsault off the top rope following a bulldog.Back from the break Doug Gilbert is already inside the ring as Lady Alexandra introduces Yoshihiro Tajiri along with his manager "The Diabolical One" Mr. Fuji.Match: Doug Gilbert vs. Yoshihiro Tajiri "The Redneck Rebel" Doug Gilbert gets some offense in but spends more of the match running his mouth belittling Yoshihiro Tajiri than fighting. This only serves to anger "The Japanese Buzzsaw" who dominates most of the match before Fuji destracts referee S.D. Jones allowing Tajiri to hit Doug with a face full of Asian mist followed by a bridged dragon suplex for the three count.
After the match Mr. Fuji gets on the mic and begins talking about how... Just then B. Brian Blair climbs over the barricade and slides into the ring with a steel chair in his hand! He clobbers Fuji with it before swinging at Tajiri who ducks it and popping up hits the chair into Blair's face with a thrust kick! "The Killer Bee" tumbles backward and out tof the ring while Yoshihiro checks on his manager. On the outside Blair yells at Yoshihiro as he backs his way up the ring and Tajiri begins yelling back in Japanese. Whatever he's saying it doesn't sound pretty. When we return from break "The Long Island Loud-Mouth" Chris Jericho is standing before a podium at some sort of press conference? Jericho soon informs us that unfortunately he couldn't be there in New Jersey tonight; because he was summoned to Cooperstown, New York! He's currently at the Baseball Hall of Fame where he's been invited to do something good ol' "Charlie Hustle" Pete Rose will never, EVER be able to do. Apparently the commitee thought his performance whipping Rose last week was so awesome, so awe-inspiring; that he's being given an honorary spot in the Hall of Fame for Most Inventive Use of a Bat when he caved in poor Pete Rose's skull. Chris goes on the say it's a great honor to have his name placed among other greats like Ty Cobb, Babe Ruth; and Mickey Mantle. And in honor of this they're permanently retiring Chris Jericho's historic number 14 jersey. He'd like to thank his millions... and millions of fans for joining him in this honor. Jericho smiles smugly as he holds up his Hall of Fame plaque for the camera."White Train" by Tito & Tarantula then hits as Eric Bischoff swaggers out onto the ramp. He has his usual shit eating grin on his face as he puts over Chris Jericho's amazing win that cements the fact. The FACT that unlike what that putz Pete Rose said; professional wrestlers are by FAR superior athletes in every respect to baseball players. He says that he is very proud of "The Long Island Loud-Mouth" and he has a very special honor for him when he returns here live on next week's broadcast!
He then leaves and Lady Alexandra introduces the competitor's for the next match.Match: Junkyard Dog vs. Mike Sharpe Canada's Greatest Athlete Mike Sharpe gives as good as he gets in this match officiated by Danny Davis nearly getting the win after hitting The Dog his patented running forearm smash. Junkyard Dog is on a roll however and after dominating th later part of the match, JYD connects with a vicious headbutt on Sharpe which he follows up with the Thump! front powerslam for the win."Mean" Gene Okerlund welcomes us back from break before reminding us that ECW will be coming to us live from the Richard J. Codey Arena in West Orange, New Jersey. He says that while tickets are sold out for that show; the folks at home can tune in right here on Eastern Championship's home station of TNN The Nashville Network every Wednesday night as always. Much to Poffo's chagrin he also informs us that this Saturday morning on TNN will see the return of ECW Slammin' Saturdays with host "Rock 'N Roll" Buck Zumhoff! So especially be sure to tune in for that as well where we'll see ECW favorite "Mr. Wednesday Night" Rob Van Dam in action for a special match that will only appear on Slammin' Saturdays!Tag-Team Match: The Lawlers vs. The Hardy Boyz The Hardy Boyz both get some offense in but the Tag-Team Champions The Lawlers make short work of their rivals here tonight with Brian Lawler picking up the pin from Danny Davis after hitting the Tennessee Jam guillotine legdrop on Jeff Hardy. After the match Arn Anderson makes his way down to the ring with the ECW Title still around his waist. Arn says that he's heard his critics and he knows alot of people were betting against him last week at King of the Mountain. That he was an underdog, whatever that means. Well he hopes that last week he silenced those critics because he's still standing here tonight the Eastern Havyweight Champion. And he also hopes he's silenced "The Macho Man." For a while at least. Because whether Savage realizes it or not AA is done with him. "The Enforcer" doesn't want his Championship dominated by "Macho nonsense." And to that end he's moving forward. He's never seen competition so stiff, a locker room more hungry to rise up in his life than here at ECW and he plans to meet all-comers head on. You want to wear this belt? Well come get it. Because "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson will be right here waiting. When Eastern Championship returns; the ring has a dining table in it?! There are rose petals set about it and on the table is an elegant dish set and table cloth with a platter in the middle. Inside the ring in his robe is Kaz Hayashi who Lanny refers to sarcastically as "Loverboy." Okerlund for once agrees with Poffo that he should really give this a rest before Mongo Vyle really gets angry. On the microphone Kaz Hayashi invites Lanny up to the ring to tranlate for him which makes Gene groan. "The Genius" is only too happy to help and show off his "mastery" of the Japanese language. After Hayashi speaks Lanny says that he asks for "The Goddess" Takako Inoue to please join them out here in the ring. After a slight pause she heads down to the ramp and takes a seat at the table across from them when Kaz asks her to. She seems to find this amusing.Through Lanny Kaz asks for Takako to hear him out. That in honor of Valentine's Day, a day where love blooms in the hearts of young romantics through cheap candy and dancing animatronic monkeys singing "Love Shack;" he has called her down here. She who holds his heart and fondles his... Lanny looks confused before continuing. She with hair smooth as the finest silks, eyes deeper than the vastess ocean, lips softer than rose petals; and breasts so bountious and bouyant that he'd like to take his face between the... Once again Poffo seems unsure to continue while Inoue bursts into laughter. Kaz then asks Takako Inoue his own true love to take him back. To redeem herself and her love for him. Takako just keeps laughing and Hayashi's face changes. He looks pissed and tells her that he has a present that may just change her mind. He lifts the tray and a raw heart is on it! Ew! He tells her it's his heart that she ripped out!Takako screams in terror as Kaz Hayashi grabs the heart off the table and tries to cram it down her throat. Lanny ever the chivalrist gets out of dodge leading Takako to her fate as Pantera's "Fuckin' Hostile" hits and "The Machiavellan Mauler" Mongo Vyle charges down the ramp! Leaping in he blindsides the deranged Hayashi and coming out onto the ramp ECW President Eric Bischoff sends referee S.D. Jones out there to start a match!Match: Mongo Vyle vs. Kaz Hayashi Mongo Vyle is pissed and Kaz Hayashi doesn't stand a chance, getting in very little offense before "The Machiavellan Mauler" powerbombs him through the table including the silverware and plates! Vyle isn't done however and puts the boots to Hayashi before grabbing a fork off the floor! Vyle's face lights up in glee and S.D. Jones orders him to put it down. Ignoring the ref Mongo stabs Kaz in the head repeatedly; busting him open and Jones DQs him; giving the win to Hayashi. Not that Mongo cares. Danny Davis and Vyle's tag-team partner Rhino are soon in the ring as well and with Jones' help pull Vyle away from Kaz who is a bloody mess. Takako Inoue however is back up and walking over to him begins screaming at Kaz and holding the heart smashes it in the unconscious man's face! She then begins stomping him until Vyle in turn pulls her off him. Back from break ECW correspondent Douglas Williams is standing by with newcomer to ECW; former WCW superstar Lord William Regal. Williams welcomes Regal to Eastern Championship Wrestling. Lord William says it's an honor to be here where Talent matters more than backstage politics. He says that he's glad to be away from that land of louts and steroid induced ruffians who believe a running powerslam is a technical move. Regal says that he plans to rise to the top here with pure skill and integrity. Speaking of which; once Williams recovers he should be sure to look Regal up. Because two Brits as skilled as them could tear the ECW tag division to shambles for sure.Match: William Regal vs. Scott Taylor Scott Taylor has greatly improved since arriving at Eastern Championship but that doesn't save him here. Although he gets some good offense in; Regal has the match well in hand and puts "The Superstar" away with an exploder suplex. Davis raises Regal's hand in victory."Mean" Gene and Lanny thank us for joining them from the last commercial break of the evening. They then talk about Rick Rude's monstrous win at King of the Mountain when he entered at number 1 and walked away with "Mr. Wednesday Night" Rob Van Dam's coveted Eastern States Championship which RVD held for an entire year. This feat made even more impressive when you take into account that the night before the Pay Per-View "The Ravishing One" was viciously manhandled in a losing effort during an Off the Chain match with the Junkyard Dog. However battered and bruised Rude stuck it out and tonight is the Eastern States Champion!
Alexandra: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and is for the Eastern States Championship. Introducing first from Robbinsdale, Minnesota weighing in at 251 lbs.; he is the Eastern States Champion "Ravishing" Rick Rude!Rick Rude's strip theme hits and he heads down to the ring with the Championship around his waist under his robe. He poses with it for a bit but it's obvious he is still in tremendous pain as struts about the ring. He has bandages on his face, hands; and tape is seen to be wrapped about his waist as he removes the Championship and holds it up for the crowd before handing it over to referee Danny Davis.
He gets the microphone from Alexandra whom he winks at before telling the technicians to "Cut the music!" He begins talking about his match with Junkyard Dog and his disappointment with losing. And how when he came up as the first entrant at King of the Mountain he realized his number was up, but he gave it his all; and....He is cut-off as "White Train" by Tito & Tarantula hits and Eric Bischoff comes out in a hurry. Rude looks annoyed and Bischoff apologizes. He says that he didn't mean for any of this. He tells Rude that he signed this Title Match here tonight before King of the Mountain even took place and had no idea he'd be in the condition he's in...
"Ich tu der weh" by Rammstien blasts through the arena and The Baron Von Raschke leads both The Blitzkrieg and Aryan out onto the ramp. Aryan who is dressed in red and black tights and black boots to match his teammates shoves Eric aside as they make their way down the ramp.
Alexandra: And his challenger here tonight accompanied to the ring at this time by The Baron Von Raschke and Aryan weighing 323 lbs. from the Republic of Germany; he is "Mangler's Monster" The Blitzkrieg!Eastern States Championship Match: Rick Rude vs. The Blitzkrieg To his credit Rick Rude doesn't back down and takes the fight to the Monster. It is no use however and the first jab The Blitzkrieg delivers to Rude's taped up ribcage sends blood spurting from the Champ's mouth. The match is quick and brutal and The Blitzkrieg finishes "The Ravishing One" off with a backbreaker over his knee before stepping on him for the pin. The Blitzkrieg is the new Eastern States Champion! Von Raschke and Aryan are in the ring quickly and Aryan scares off Davis who attempts to raise "Mangler's Monster's" hand.
Instead on either side of him Von Raschke and Aryan raise The Blitzkrieg's hands high in victory while Rude lies broken on the floor beneath them.
Lights Fade.

02/22/95 - Richard J. Codey Arena West Orange, NJ"Mean" Gene Okerlund and "The Genius" Lanny Poffo welcome us to another exciting edition of Eastern Championship Wrestling! They thank us for joining them live here at the Richard J. Codey Arena in West Orange, New Jersey before informing us that in tonight's Main Event "Macho Man" Randy Savage will be making his first appearance inside an ECW ring since his loss two week's ago at King of the Mountain to the ECW Heavyweight Champion "The Enforcer" Arm Anderson. The also mention that "The Long Islan Loud-Mouth" Chris Jericho will be here tonight and that ECW President Eric Bischoff has a special reward cooked up for him for his win against "Charlie Hustle" Pete Rose at KOTM. Finally they mention how "Mangler's Monster" The Blitzkrieg decimated and defeated the Eastern States Champion "Ravishing" Rick Rude; winning the Title at the close of last week's show. They don't get any further when "Ich tu der weh" by Rammstein assaults the arena and The Blitzkrieg appears on the ramp with the Eastern States Title draped over his shoulder. He has his manager The Baron Von Raschke and ECW newcomer Aryan with him. Von Raschke as usual is on the mic.
The Baron says that since he The Baron Von Raschke and his charge The Blitzkrieg arrived here at Eastern Championship they have strived to show, to prove to the world the superior strength, the superior fortitude and the superior skill that flows through the hearts and very veins of the men and women in the Republic of Germany. He says that for months they've been carving a path of destruction, with not one man in this business capable of stopping "Mangler's Monster." No. No one has ever defeated The Blitzkrieg. Not herr Zumhoff. Not that Loud-Mouth. Not Rob Van Dam. And certainly not Rick Rude. There's a reason The Blitzkrieg hasn't been given a shot at the Heavyweight Championship. Fear. Fear because they know nobody in this business can put the Monster down. And that once "Mangler's Monster" collects that Title. Once he puts his iron boot through the skull of all opposition; that they'll have no choice but to admit the superiority, the rightful place of the true masters of this world; and everyone will finally be forced to kneel before the might of The Republic of Germany!Just then the challengers for the night's first match Brickhouse Brown and Butch Reed appear on the ramp staring hard at Von Raschke and his crew. Aryan gets in Reed's face and the two men have a heated exchange before The Baron pulls his man away.Lady Alexandra then introduces the participants in the first match of the night.Tag-Team Match: Brickhouse Brown & Butch Reed vs. The Hughes Brothers Brickhouse Brown starts things off with Devon Hughes while referee S.D. Jones officiates. There's some good back and forth until Devon eventually sends Brown packing to his corner after hitting him with a huge back body drop. Butch Reed enters and though Hughes gets some offence in; "Hacksaw" pretty much dominates him before making a cover after nailing a double underhook suplex which Devon barely kicks out of. He attempts to get to his corner but is stopped until he hits a 360 degree corkscrew back elbow smash on the rebound from an Irish whip and he is finally able to tag out to Spike Hughes. Spike doesn't stand much of a chance against the much bigger Reed but he gives it his all. Still he gets little offense in as Butch and Brickhouse cut off the ring and work him over using quick tags to double team him. Spike Hughes refuses to stay down however and kicks out three times before Butch Reed puts him away for good with a gorilla press slam.Back from the break Gene and Lanny discuss Mongo Vyle's encounter with Kaz Hayashi last night. Okerlund says he hopes Hayashi seeks professional help. The young man is obviously disturbed. Lanny however doesn't blame Kaz. If he had a piece of as... "Mean" Gene warns him to keep it PG.Match: Mongo Vyle vs. Steve Blackman Captain Lou Albano accompanies his new project "The Silent Assassin" Steve Blackman out to the ring and does everything he can to interfere in the match on his behalf, earning the ire of both referee Danny Davis and "The Machiavellan Mauler" Mongo Vyle. Blackman does well here but in the end Mongo Vyle ends up turning the tables with a thumb to the eye and proceeds to turn out his lights with a Full Nelson Bomb he calls the Mongo Masher. Returning from commercial we're backstage with ECW correspondent Douglas Williams who's getting a word with former Eastern States Champion "Mr. Wednesday Night" Rob Van Dam about his feelings regarding the loss of the Championship. RVD says that it's cool. That he held the Eastern States Champion for a solid year and he's gotta give props where props are due. "Ravishing" Rick Rude gave him one hell of a match. After defeating 30 men no less. He deserved to win. Sure he could complain about unsafe work conditions, the fact he slipped on Rude's blood; but at the end of the day he lost. Fair and square. What he doesn't find fair however? The way The Blitzkrieg defeated an injured man the very next night to steal the belt. Not cool. But that's okay. Because honestly "Mr. Wednesday Night" doesn't care who has his Title. Because at the end of the day he's getting back up on that horse. Climbing back into that ring. And one day soon he's gonna be coming to get his Eastern States Title back. And if it's The Blitzkrieg holding it? So much the better.Back from the the break ECW shows a video In Memoriam to "Hot Stuff" Eddie Gilbert.Afterwards Doug Gilbert is in the ring and gives a speech about his brother Eddie who passed away this past weekend. He asks for a moment of silence and gets it.Match: Doug Gilbert vs. Yoshihiro Tajiri Mr. Fuji then leads his charge Yoshihiro Tajiri down to the ring where they hold there hands up to their faces and pretend to cry. This angers Gilbert who mocks them back before the match starts by squinting his eyes and sticking out his teeth and he gets clobbered by a hard right from "The Japanese Buzzsaw" for his effort starting off the match. These two put on a solid fast-paced bout which sees several nearfalls from both men before Yoshihiro Tajiri hits "Redneck Rebel" with the Buzzsaw kick! 1!...2!.... Gilbert kicks out! Tajiri dominates him for a bit; but Gilbert battles back and scores the upset win after hitting Tajiri with the Hot Shot flapjack dropped into a hangman which gets him the three count from referee S.D. Jones.Lanny and Okerlund welcome us back from the break and run down the matches we've witnessed so far tonight. They then remind us that next weel Eastern Championship Wrestling will be coming to us live from The DC Armory in Washington D.C.; our first show from the Nation's Capital! For those folks not in the area as usual ECW can be caught right here on our home station of TNN The Nashville Network every Wednesday Night.
Lady Alexandra makes with the intros and the fans are still behind the former Eastern States Champion Rob Van Dam as he makes his first appearance inside an ECW ring since losing the belt. As usual he points to his shoulders as he poses for the crowd who chants "Rob... Van... Dam!" as "Poundcake" by Van Halen rips through the arena.Match: KAMA vs. Rob Van Dam KAMA puts up a decent fight and looks like he might actually win this one when he traps "Mr. Wednesday Night" Rob Van Dam in the STF. Van Dam who seems a bit cockier than usual however dominates most of the match and after getting to the ropes breaking the hold he battles back and eventually puts KAMA away with the 5-Star Frog Splash. Danny Davis raises his hand in victory as clapping is heard. Both men turn toward the ramp to see "The Long Island Loud-Mouth" Chris Jericho?! Jericho swaggers down to the ring while telling Rob that was a pretty impressive win. For a loser that is. He rolls in the ring and tells Van Dam that it's a shame about his Title loss the other night. But it wasn't exactly unexpected. "Mr. Wednesday Night" had no problem losing to Jericho himself a couple months ago either and tells Rob to get out of HIS ring. Rob Van Dam doesn't look pleased at all and the two men jaw jack, staring one another down until "White Train" by Tito & Tarantula hits.ECW President Eric Bischoff appears on the ramp. Eric tells Van Dam that if he has a problem with Jericho there's a time and place; but tonight ain't it. Rob looks reluctant but finally shrugs and leaves the ring as Bischoff heads down to the ring followed by S.D. Jones who's carrying a box. Inside the ring Eric Bischoff tells "The Loud-Mouth" that he's very pleased with him and his epic win over that blowhard Pete Rose at King of the Mountain. He invites the fans to give him a round of applause and he gets a mixed reaction at best.
Chris Jericho thanks Bischoff for the opportunity and says that it was an honor to put that so-called sports legend in his place. The two men ham it up a bit before Eric gets to the business at hand. And that business is his special reward for Chris Jerciho who defended not only the sport of professional wrestling; but every athlete around the world so well; with incredible heart, dignity; and courage. He signals to Davis and S.D. Jones who hold out Jone's box for Bischoff. Eric then opens it and produces from it a Championship Title!
Eric Bischoff tells Jericho that this belt is not the newest belt to debut at Eastern Championship Wrestling. It's the newest belt to debut in the world of sports; because anyone, anywhere; and in any promotion can issue a challenge for this belt. And the Champion; currently OUR Champion; must answer that call. To this end he is honored to crown "The Long Island Loud-Mouth" Chris Jericho as the first ever Inter-Promotional Champion!Jericho looks speechless (is it possible?) by this honor and says that this proves, this puts on notice; that he is without a doubt the greatest professional athlete in the WORLD! His self-proclaimed greatness is cut short when someone appears on the ramp wearing a New York Giants uniform? It's former New York Giants Linebacker; # 56; Lawrence Taylor?! Taylor heads down to the ring leaving Jericho and Bischoff looking dumbfounded. Lanny Poffo is the first person to cry that "L.T." doesn't belong here; but soon inside the ring Chris Jericho begins telling Lawrence that he shouldn't be here. That this is his Championship Coronation and that he isn't to be interrupted during it. He keeps his distance as he pets his new Title covetously.
Lawrence Taylor tells Chris that he looked a hell of alot tougher out here beating a man twice his age with a bat a few weeks ago. But that's okay because "L.T." has met punks like him before. Hell. Denver Broncos and Buffalo Bulls were full of em. But enough about football. He's done everything he could do there. Won Super Bowls. Took down over 1,088 men. But one thing he's never done? Worn one of them fancy wrestling straps. And Taylor likes the sound of an Inter-Promotional Title in his trophy case. Now he's seen that this "Loud-Mouth" here can defeat old people. But against a real man Jericho? Well prepare to be #1,089.
Taylor then lunges at the Inter-Promotional Champ; but Chris Jericho gallantly thows Eric Bischoff in the way as he drops and rolls out of the ring. Bischoff gets nailed hard by Lawrence who clotheslines the ECW President sending him stumbling into the ropes and out of the ring; hitting the ground hard. The crowd goes nuts chanting Taylor's name. Meanwhile on the outside Jericho seems to have realized what he just did as he stares wide-eyed at Eric's crumpled form on the ground. He begins pointing and screaming at Taylor, "You did this!" as he backs around the ring and retreats like a scolded dog up the ramp. Davis and Jones are busy checking on Bischoff as ECW heads to...Match: Luna Vachon vs. Tiffany Tiffany puts up a good fight against "Mad Dog" Luna Vachon; nearly scoring an upset with an Iconoclasm off the top. Vachon doesn stay down however and ends up putting Tiffany away with a clothesline; getting the three count from S.D. Jones. Back from break "Rock 'N Roll" Buck Zumhoff is standing by with ECW correspondent Douglas Williams. Buck hypes ECW Slammin' Saturdays which is in it's second season and thanks the kids at home (and those adults who won't admit it) for tuning in and making the season premiere a Rock 'N Rollin' success!Match: Buck Zumhoff vs. Mike Sharpe Buck Zumhoff is clearly outmatched by the sheer stength of Canada's Greatest Athlete Mike Sharpe who nearly ends things early by catching Buck in a monstrous bearhug. "Rock 'N Roll" battles back however but gets nearly gets his skull caved in by the running forearm smash! Luckily for him Zumhoff ducks under it and catches Sharpe with a dropkick that drives him back into the ropes. Buck Zumhoff quickly runs the ropes himself and catches "Iron" Mike with a sunset flip on the rebound to score the upset from Danny Davis."Macho Man" Randy Savage cuts a promo before we're welcomed back from the final commercial break of the evening. Savage finds it amusing that ECW Champion "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson doesn't want to live under the shadow of the "Machon Man!" Randy says that that's just a reality, a fact of life yeah. Something every Champion in every federation has to live with. Dig it. Because the legend, the "Macho Mania" runs rampant. It casts a shadow over this whole damned industry. And it doesn't matter if Randy Savage gets his Title Shot today, tomorrow; or ten years from now even because AA's career will always pale in comparison to "The Macho One!" Fact! But Savage is okay waiting. Yeah. Cause "Macho Man" has got a long memory see. He has scores to settle. People who wronged him. Punks that need destroying. But when all is said and done "Macho Man" Randy Savage will be right back where he started; the ECW World Champion! Ooooh Yeah!
Lanny says he feels bad for Savage's family. That guy is deranged. Okerlund can't say he disagrees; but one thing cannot be denied. Inside the ring "Macho Man" Randy Savage can make good on his claims. "Pomp and Circumstance" then hits as Savage emerges from the back with Women's Champ Debbie Combs and Steve Corino in tow. As usual of late he has Corino stick out both his arms and hangs his jacket and hat on "The Saviour of Sea Isle City" before getting in the ring with referee S.D. Jones. An annoying buzzing is then heard as "THE Killer Bee" B. Brian Blair heads down to the ring.Match: Randy Savage vs. B. Brian Blair B. Brian Blair impresses here just by keeping up with Randy Savage, even getting himself a two count after hitting a missile dropkick off the top. Late in the match however "Macho Man" treats Blair to a hairpull hangman and then climbing up the turnbuckle from the outside; Randy Savage hits B. Brian Blair with the Savage diving elbow drop for the win around the 10-minute mark. Ooh Yeah!
Lights Fade.

02/29/95 - The DC Armory Washington D.C."Mean Gene" Okerlund and "The Genius" Lanny Poffo welcome us to another exciting edition of Eastern Championship Wrestling; the first ever from out Nation's capital Washington D.C.! After thanking us for joining them live from The DC Armory on our home station of TNN The Nashville Network they go over tonight's card which will open with a big Match between "Mangler's Monster" The Blitzkrieg and former ECW Champion "Macho Man" Randy Savage and close with the current Heavyweight Champ "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson facing off against "The Man-Beast" Rhino in a rematch from earlier in the month.
They then discuss last week's show focusing on New York Giants linebacker Lawrence Taylor's challenge to newly crowned Inter-Promotional Champion" Chris Jericho for the Title and Randy Savage's win over B. Brian Blair. They then hype the fact that all four ECW Champions will be in action tonight in non-Title bouts."Pomp and Circumstance" soon hits as the Lady Alexandra introduces the first competitors of the night. "Mach Man" Randy Savage emerges from the back with Women's Champ "Hot Stuff" Debbie Combs and Steve Corino in tow. Savage uses Corino as a coat rack again before getting inside the ring with referee Danny Davis where he poses for the crowd.Pyrotechincs go off as "Ich tu der weh" slams through the arena starling Savage. He looks wide-eyed as The Blitzkrieg makes his way down to the ring followed by his manager Baron Von Raschke and Aryan. "Macho Man" begins shaking his head and pointing to them arguing with Davis. Suddenly Savage begins limping a little and points to his boot before hopping outside the ring. Still limping he approaches Corino and takes his hat and coat from him before pointing toward the ring where The Blitzkrieg has the Eastern States Championship thrown over his shoulder as Aryan mugs for the crowd and The Baron Von Raschke points to their newly won Title. Randy tells Steve he's filling in for him because he has a rock in his boot. Corino's jaw hits the floor and he refuses; but Savage grabs his charge by the scruff of his neck and rolls him into the ring. He Orders Davis to ring the bell; while pointing to his "injury." This pisses Von Raschke off; but both he and Aryan end up leaving the ring so the match can start.Match: The Blitzkrieg vs. Randy SavageRandy Savage looks on from ringside for several seconds as The Blitkrieg dismantles Steve Corino before he heads to the back with Debbie Combs. Noticeably without a limp. "The Saviour of Sea Isle City" is in need of a savior of his own by the time "Mangler's Monster" stops playing with his mouse and puts him away with a chokeslam; stepping on him with one foot for the pin.Match: Mongo Vyle vs. Sexton Hardcastle Sexton Hardcastle makes his single's debut in this match officiated by S.D. Jones in which he gets his ass handed to him by Mongo Vyle. "The Machiavellan Mauler" hits him with a brutal Mongo Masher full nelson bomb for the win as Takako Inoue cheers her man on.Match: Ronnie Garvin vs. Buck Zumhoff Ronnie Garvin and Buck Zumhoff have a good match during which "Rock'N Roll" nearly scores the upset with a sunset flip; which Okerlund says is the best in the business. "Rugged" however dominates the ECW fan-favorite late in the match and makes him submit to Danny Davis using the rolling cross armbreaker. Afterward he wipes the sweat from his towel and tosses it down at Buck.
Garvin then asks Lady Alexandra for the mic and says he has something to say. He says that he's tired of seeing lesser, flashier competitors given a chance at the ECW Title. Garvin has proven time and again that he's one of the best athletes in this business and at Wrestle Annual he gave it his all against "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson. Now on that night he came up short; but he gave AA one hell of a fight. Now he respects Arn for going on and winning the belt that night. In his estimation he's been one hell of a Champion. But he's tired of sitting on the sidelines while Randy Savage gets chance after chance against the Champ. He wants his Title shot against Anderson. And right now he's asking for one. But he's not going to wait to damned long for an answer."Mean" Gene and Lanny welcome us back from the break before reminding us that next week ECW will be coming to us live from the sold-out Delaware Field House in Newark, Delaware. For those fans without tickets or not in the area; that show can be found right here on Eastern Championship Wrestling's home station of TNN The Nashville Network as usuak. They then wonder is ECW Champion Arn Anderson will take up Ronnie Garvin's challenge before the break. Poffo says he'd be a fool not to. Putting that fossil out for the three count will be a mercy killing. Okerlund isn't so sure about that. The Bill Conti Overture then plays introducing the Tag-Team Champions; Jerry and Brian Lawler!Match: The Lawlers vs. The Hardy Boyz Though the Hardy Boyz get some offense in on the Tag-Team Champs, the Lawlers make short work of them; with Jerry Lawler making the pin on Matt Hardy after hitting the Flying Fist Drop. He and his son Brian Lawler celebrate in the ring until S.D. Jones gets their attention and points to the ramp where...They see the former Champs; The New Orient Express! Mr. Fuji is standing by with Taka Michinoku and Yoshihiro Tajiri. Fuji laughs at the Champs and tells them that they should feel good about themselves for defeating the Barely Legal Boyz. He asks them if their next feat will be snatching lollipops out of baby's mouth? Perhaps pull little girl's pigtails? Fuji says that the only reason that they're still the so-called Champs is because of stupid Pay Per View event where no Tag Titles were on the line. He says but that oversight shall soon be corrected because next week at mudhole called Delaware they shall face real, honorable men in The New Orient Express who will then be the three time ECW Tag-Team Champs! Mwahaha!Back from the break "Hot Stuff" by Donna Summers is playing as the Women's Champ Debbie Combs makes her way out to the ring with "Macho Man" Randy Savage in tow? He hams it up for the crowd a bit before joining "Mean" Gene and Lanny at the broadcast booth. Okerlund wastes no time in telling him how disgusting his actions were earlier in the evening. Randy says that first of all he if Okerlund had been paying attention; he had a rock in his boot and can't be expected to compete while using faulty gear. Secondly he's out here right now because he's proud of his little lady for becoming the Women's Champ. So to shut his piehole. Lanny Poffo in a rare turn agrees with Savage about the gear and says that Combs' Title victory over both McGillicutty and Moore a few week's ago was epic. He also says that Savage and Combs are quite a match. A match made in hell according to Gene.Match: Debbie Combs vs. Takako Inoue Debbie Combs and Takako Inoue have a hard fought match with several nearfalls before the Women's Champ defeats "The Goddess" with a swinging neckbreaker. After the match Savage comes in and celebrates with her. Just then Beulah McGillicutty shows up on the ramp and she tells Debbie she's happy to see she's still got her Women's Championship around her waist. That she pretended to be her friend to steal the Title. Et tu, Debbie? She gets it. But she's here tonight because she wants the Title back where it belongs. Around her waist.
Combs tells Beulah McGillicutty that she is just a sore loser and that her Title win was legitimate in every way. She says that the only reason Beulah ever became Women's Champ was because of her and she was tired of her reaping Combs' right reward. But at the same time she wouldn't mind giving Beulah her rematch say... next week? After all if she can defeat both Jacqueline Moore and Beulah McGillicuty; two former Champions at the same time; then what hope does McGillicutty alone, someone who never deserved her Championship to begin with have?"Ich tu der weh" by Rammstein is playing as we come back to break and the Baron Von Raschke is out on the ramp with Aryan and The Blitzkrieg who has the Eastern States Championship slung over his shoulder.. "Mean" Gene says he doesn't like the look of this new young man with Rachke and Lanny mocks him; asking if it's "the whole Nazi thing." Von Raschke says that for the past year his charge "Mangler's Monster" has been carving a path of destruction through ECW and that he now stands before us the Eastern States Champion. Today he wants to take the time to present to us his latest charge, a man who has a very special place in The Baron's heart; because he is his son; Aryan von Raschke!
"Mean" Gene spits out his coffee in shock and Poffo wonders what kind of woman would be hard up enough to sleep with the Baron, let alone have his child. Aryan takes the microphone from his father and thanks him for bringing him here to Eastern Championship Wrestling where he can be himself. He says that he spent the last few years under the constraint of a contract with that company of cartoon characters; the WWF. He says they made him a joke. Gave him a dumb name. Stuck a mask on his face. And to add insult to injury called him Portuguese. He says that the best thing that's happened to him in years was leaving that dump. To that end he hopes from here on out in ECW to make his father and his heritage as a son of the Republic of Germany; the greatest country on Earth; proud!Match: Aryan vs. KAMA Aryan is very disrepectful not only to his opponent KAMA here, but also to referee S.D. Jones throughout the match. This lands young Von Raschke in trouble as his attempts to humiliate KAMA also give the big man an opening, once allowing him to catch Aryan in the STF and later nearly putting him away with a spinning side slam. Aryan however manages to hang in there and after freeing himself using an eye rake while Jones is distracted by The Baron at ringside; he nails KAMA with the Sieg Heil superkick that takes his head clean off and puts him down for a reluctant three count from Jones.Gene Okerlund welcomes us back from the final commercial break of the evening of our first show from our nation's capital Washington D.C.! And what a show it has been. They then discuss "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson's run as ECW Champion a bit focusing on his match in the beginning of February against "The Man-Beast" Rhino. "Fucking Hostile" by Pantera then assaults the arena as Rhino storms down to the ring.
Alexandra: The following non-Title bout is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first from Detroit, Michigan weighing in at 270 lbs.; he is "The Man-Beast" Rhino!
Rhino poses on the turnbuckle with his arms raised before stalking about the ring as referee Danny Davis looks on. Arn Anderson then appears on the ramp in his leather jacket with the Eastern Heavyweight Title around his waist.
Alexandra: And now introducing from Rome, Georgia weighing 255 lbs.; he is the Eastern Heavyweight Champion; "The Enforcer" Double A Arn Anderson!Main Event: Arn Anderson vs. Rhino These two men have squared off before and it was close. There are no pleasantries here as Arn Anderson and Rhino lock up as Danny Davis start the match. "The Man-Beast" attempts a quick go behind looking for a suplex, but Arn elbows him in the gut and whips his opponent across the ring connecting with an elbow smash that sends Rhino crashing to the canvas. AA then stomps him a bit before delivering an elbow drop to the face and going for the cover. Down on the ground he traps Rhino in a headlock but "The Man-Beast" battles out and climbing to his feet begins trading punches with "The Enforcer." The two men brawl about the ring until Arn looks for a clothesline that Rhino dodges before hitting the Champ with a lifting side slam. He makes the cover barely getting the one. Keeping on Arn Rhino locks in a rear chinlock and torques Anderson's neck. Anderson growls in pain but manages to stagger up to his knees. Rhino holds on tight and is taken for a ride as Anderson stumbles toward the ropes getting Davis to break the hold. Back on his feet Anderson lays into Rhino with several Flair style stops before attempting an Irish whip which Rhino reverses before kicking Anderson in the gut, setting him up for a gutwrench suplex. Anderson doesn't stay down however and as he gets to his feet Rhino is right on top of him hammering his head and back before pulling him up for a powerbomb! "The Enforcer" however throws his weight and brings Rhino crashing down with him seated on his face. Reaching back he hooks "The Man-Beast's" legs for a two count before getting thrown off. Popping back up Rhino is met with a forearm smash from the Champ who then knees him in the gut before hitting him with a jawbreaker over his knee. Rhino once again hits the canvas as Arn locks in a double chickenwing on him, grinding his knee into his opponent's back for added pressure. Rhino screams in pain and Davis asks if he'll surrender. "The man-Beast" has more fight in him however and manages to get back up to his feet before having a contest of strength with AA which he appears to be winning before Arn tries to counter with an armdrag. Rhino however doesn't lose his balance and keeps his footing, scooping the Champ up in a monstrous bearhug! Arn struggles in the hold until finally fighting his way free with blind elbows to his opponent whom he takes down with a snapmare. Grabbing at Rhino who is downed once again Anderson applies an armbar! This could be it! No. Rhino was too close to the ropes and grabs the second rope pulling himself free and Davis breaks them up. Grabbing Rhino Arn begins hammering on him once again and whips him hard into the corner where he attempts to hit a clothesline! "The Man-Beast" moves at the last second however and the Champ crashes into the corner. As Arn looks dazed Rhino charges across the ring and comes running back at him with The Gore striking spear! But there's nobody home as Arn uses the ropes to hop up onto the top turnbuckle! Seated he watches just as Rhino hits the ringpost hard! Rhino staggers back and in an uncharactic move Arn leaps off the second turnbuckle onto his opponent hitting a Tornado DDT! Arn makes the cover! 1!...2!...3! Arn Anderson has defeated "The Man-Beast" again!
Arn is sweaty and looks tired as he raises the ECW Title in victory before climbing down out of the ring. Suddenly the crowd come alive! Anderson looks up to see the source of the disturbance. It's "The Macho Man" Randy Savage!Savage stares hard at the Champ before rolling into the ring where a dazed Rhino is just realizing what's happened. Savage attacks him! He stomps a mudhole into "The Man-Beast" before "The Machiavellan Mauler" Mongo Vyle appears on the ramp! He storms down to the ring; but doesn't make it inside as Savage heads him off and begins pointing and yelling at him over the top rope.
Lights Fade.
