What a glorious event!” Marshall, “Well there are many top tag teams around, and who knows, there may be some teams from outside ACW who would like a shot at those titles.” Whippleman, “Let them come, let all of them come! Johnson, “Mr. Hansen, welcome to ACW. You shocked us all last week.” Hansen, “Ohhhhh! Who cares Johnson! I came here to destroy anyone in my path. Abdullah, you and I go back a long way! I pinned you in a tag team match, not many men have done that! Tonight I’m going to do it one on one! Ohhhh!” Johnson, “Stan is correct. A pinfall over Abdullah is a big deal. One in a singles match would be even bigger. That’s one of our three main events. In our other two, Masahiro Chono, with Inspector Whippleamn, defends the International Heavyweight Title against former NWA World Champion Tommy ‘Wildfire’ Rich and Steve ‘Dr. Death’ Williams defends the American heavyweight Title against ‘Gentleman’ Chris Adams. What a night of action we have.” Match #1 Koko B. Ware def. Duane Gill, w/ghostbuster
Match #2 Crush def. Barry Hardy, w/heart punchLee Marshall is with Big Titan and Horace Boulder. Marshall, “With me is a new tag team in ACW, Big Titan and Horace Boulder. Gentlemen, you have had great success in Japan. Now you’re in ACW. We have some of the top tag teams in the world, how do you fit in.” Titan, “Listen Marshall, what we are up to is our own business, but we’ll tell you anyway. Horace and I dominated Japan and now we’re here to beat up anyone in our paths! Horace and I have destroyed anyone who steps in our path and we’re going to do it here as well!” Boulder, “Just what he said! We’re the best and this is the place to prove it! If you have any guts, put you name on the contract and find out how good we really are!” Marshall, “This team is one to watch. When we come back, Big Titan and Horace Boulder take on the fine team of Bobby Blaze and the Colorado Kid. Match #3 Big Titan and Horace Boulder def. The Colorado Kid and Bobby Blaze, Boulder w/legdrop vs. Blaze
Match #4 The Can-Am Express def. Jerry Flynn and Killer Kyle, Furnas w/powerslam vs. FlynnZbyszko is with Whippleman. Zbyszko, “With me is Harvey Whippleman. Harve, your tag teams seems to be ducking the Road Warriors, but let’s talk about Chono first. He takes on Tommy Rich, a former World Champion. I don’t think very much of you, but Chono is very good. Rich will be a tough test though.” Whipplman, “First of all Zbyszko, it’s ‘Inspector’ Whippleman. Now Chono is on top of the world, he’s not going to lose to a ‘Has Been’ like Rich, or you.” Zbyszko, “O.K. Harve. Chono is good, I already said that. But Rich is going to be a bigger challenge than you think." Whippleman, “Listen Zbyszko, I can’t believe ACW hired you, but if don’t start showing me the respect I deserve, you may find out how good the hospital plan is here at ACW.” Zbyszko, “O.K. Harvey. Let’s go to the ring and see Chono and Rich in action.” Match #5 International Heavyweight Championship Masahiro Chono (Champion) w/Inspector Whippleman vs. Tommy RichRich takes the fight to the Champion. Chono is in trouble. Tommy hits the Thez press and referee Jack Doane counts two, but the Champion kicks out. Rich follows that up with a sleeper and Chono gets to the ropes. Chono is on the run and Whippleman is apoplectic at ringside. The “Inspector” shouts orders to his man. Chono begins to rally. Rich puts up a good fight, but Chono hits the Yakuza kick for the win. Winner-Masahiro ChonoMatch #6 Abdullah the Butcher vs. Stan HansenThis has mayhem written all over it. Very few men have scored pinfall wins over the Butcher, and Hansen did it in last week’s tag team match. The man from the Sudan will be out for blood, even more than usual. Both men tear into one another. They slug it out and wrestling goes out the window. The Butcher gets the edge and works over Hansen in the corner. The big cowboy fights his way out and hammers away at Abdullah. He whips the Butcher into the ropes and hits the lariat. Hansen goes for the cover and referee Chad Patton counts 1…2…3! Stan Hansen pins Abdullah again! Winner-Stan HansenLee Marshall is with Steve “Dr. Death” Williams. Marshall, “With me is Steve ‘Dr. Death’ Williams, the American Heavyweight Champion. Doc, last week you took on Koko B. Ware, and this week you meet another veteran, ‘Gentleman’ Chris Adams. You are not backing down from any challenge.” Williams, “Look Marshall, I came to ACW to be Champion. I did that. Now I want the entire wrestling world to know how good I really am. You can’t prove that by ducking anyone. I’ve been in the business for several years, I’ve wrestled the best and beaten the best. That’s not going to stop. Chris Adams, you’re good, but you’re just another obstacle in my path.” Marshall, “The Champion is primed for action.” Match #7 American Heavyweight Championship Steve “Dr. Death” Williams (Champion) vs. “Gentleman” Chris AdamsThe early moments start slowly. Adams avoids begin trapped by Williams. The veteran from Stratford Upon Avon thinks his way through the match. Williams gets a bit frustrated and begins to roughhouse. Adams holds his own, but the Champion is too much. He lands the Oklahoma stampede and referee Teddy Long counts the fall. Winner-Steve WilliamsJohnson and Zbyszko close the show. Johnson, “Legend, we had quite a night. Steve Williams looked good, as did Stan Hansen. Abdullah the Butcher is going to be out for revenge.” Zbyszko, “What about that little worm Whippleman? He has the tag team champs, but I think there are several teams that can take those titles, and I want to see it!” Johnson, “Let’s talk about next week. We will be back in the birthplace of ACW, Columbus, OH. The ‘Red Belt’ will be up for grabs as Akira Hokuto will put the title on the line against the woman she took it from, Aja Kong. Now let’s talk about the main event. Inspector Whippleman’s men, the Quebecers, Kensuke Sasaki and Masahiro Chono will be in eight man tag team action. They will meet Mike Rotundo, Johnny Smith and these men.” We see highlights of the Road Warriors in action. Johnson, “That’s right, the Legion of Doom, the Road Warriors will be here in eight man tag team action!” Zbyszko, “Wow! The Road Warriors! That just made old Harve a little more nervous! Johnson, “The Road Warriors in ACW, what big news! Let’s not forget about ‘Saturday Night Wrestling’. Dave Finlay will be in action, as well as a new tag team known as the ‘Pearls of the Orient’. I don’t know who they are, but if they are coming here, they must be good. There you go fans, don’t miss ‘Saturday Night Wrestling’, as well as ‘ACW Live!’, it’s going to be great!”

“Saturday Night Wrestling” 3/31/95Lee Marshall opens the show. Marshall, “Welcome to ‘Saturday Night Wrestling’! ACW continues to be the talk of the wrestling world. ‘Saturday Night Wrestling’ has been a monumental success. Tonight we will bring you four great matches. We have an American Television Title match, we will see a new tag team from Japan, Johnny Smith will be in action, as will this man.” Dave Finlay joins Marshall. Marshall, “With me is ‘Fit’ Finlay. Mr. Finlay you continue to take on the top competition in ACW. Tonight you meet John Nord. He’s big and very tough.” Finlay, “That’s right! That’s the kind of guy I want to be in the ring with. I’m here to fight and Nord will do that, fight! I can’t wait.” Marshall, “Fit Finlay is moving up the ranks. It won’t be long until he is challenging for one of the titles here in ACW. Let’s go to the ring and see Finlay take on John Nord.” Match #1 Dave Finlay vs. John NordThe big Nord and Finlay go at it hammer and tong. They exchange rights and lefts and neither man back up one inch. Finaly whips Nord into the ropes and backdrops the bi man to the mat. He covers him, but Nord kicks out. Finlay complains to referee Chad Patton about a slow count. The slugfest continues until Finlay hits the Celtic cross on the big man and gets the pin. Winner-Dave FinlayMarshall is with Wolf Hawkfield. Marshall, “With me is the Television Champion Wolf Hawkfield. Mr. Hawkfield, you have being going back and forth with Tiger King. The masked man from Japan has given you some very good matches, and come close to taking the title from you.” Hawkfield, “He is a worthy contender and I know I will meet him again and it will be a challenge.” Marshall, “As a matter of fact, you are scheduled to meet him on Tuesday night on ‘ACW Live!’. I know he will be ready.” Hawkfield, “As will I. This title means a lot to me. I have had it for some time and do not plan on giving it up without a fight.” Marshall, “And a fight it will be. Tuesday night on ‘ACW Live!’, Wolf Hawkfield vs. Tiger King. Now let’s see the Champion in the ring.” Match #2 American Television Championship Wolf Hawkfield (Champion) def. The Masked Avenger, w/cyber spear
Match #3 Johnny Smith def. Allen Funk, w/missile dropkickCraig Johnson is with Tommy Watanabe. Johnson, “With me is Tommy Watanabe, our Japanese wrestling expert. Tommy, we have a new tag team debuting tonight, The ‘Pearls of the Orient’. What do you know about them?” Watanabe, “Craig, I did some digging and I found out some very interesting information. The ‘Pearls of the Orient’ are not a new team made up of rookies. They are two of the top names in wrestling, both known the world over.” Johnson, “Really! Who are they?” Watanabe, “Well, I was able to make contact with them and they agreed to an interview on today’s show. Here they are, the “Pearls of the Orient’... Jushin ‘Thunder’ Liger and the Ultimo Dragon.” Liger and the Dragon come out and join Johnson and Watanabe. Johnson, “Wow! Liger and the Dragon are two of the top names in the game! ACW continues to add to an already top roster. Take it away Tommy.” Watanabe interviews the ‘Pearls of the Orient’ and then translates. Liger and Dragon tell Watanabe they came to ACW because the top tag teams in the world are in this organization. They have put aside personal differences to form this tag team and are looking for matches with the top tag team in ACW. Johnson, “When we return, the ‘Pearls of the Orient’ take on the tough team of Greg Valentine and Dave Taylor.” Match #4 The Pearls of the Orient vs. Greg Valentine and Dave TaylorThis is a great contrast in styles. The fast paced Liger and Dragon and the ground based attack of the veterans on the other side of the ring will provide great action. The match is very even. Taylor is able to trap the Dragon in the corner and he pounds away on him. Dragon escapes and tags in Liger. The Japanese legend goes to work on the Englishman. He lands the Liger bomb for the win. Winners-The Pearls of the OrientMarshall closes the show. Marshall, “Another great night of ‘Saturday Night Wrestling’! ACW continues to make news each and every week. The debut of the ‘Pearls of the Orient’ changes the face of tag team wrestling in ACW. They will return next week. We will have tag team theme on next week’s program, not only will Liger and the Dragon be here, but we will see two veteran teams in action, Tommy Rich and Chris Adams will team up to take on the team we saw this week, Greg Valentine and Dave Taylor. All this, and the Patriot will be in action. That’s next Saturday. Don’t miss ‘ACW Live!’ on Tuesday night, Akira Hokuto meets Aja Kong with the ‘Red Belt’ on the line, Wolf Hawkfield meets Tiger King and the big eight man tag team match featuring the debut of the Road Warriors!, what a night of action!”
