VOICE OVER: THE NATIONAL WRESTLING ALLAINCE THE OLDEST SANCTIONING BODY IN ALL OF SPORTS. Pyro goes off in the arena and the camera pans around the arena catching all the fans excitement, before settling at ringside with Joey Styles and International Champion Johnny Polo!!! Joey Styles: HELLO EVERYONE AND WELCOME TO WEDNESDAY NIGHT WARRIORS!!! As you saw at the top of the program, Dory Funk Jr. has said that his brother, LEGEND Terry Funk can wrestle here in the NWA and can be partners with Bret Hart in TEAM HART in the War Games if he so chooses!!! Hopefully we will hear if Terry has accepted Bret’s offer and if he will be the fourth man!!!! Johnny Polo: It’s all moot!!! Terry Funk is a coward, he proved he was a coward weeks ago when he refused to fight Nash and DDP here on this program, he isn’t going to team with Bret in War Games!Joey Styles: I’ll make sure to let Terry know you called him a coward. We have a big time main event for you here tonight, a rematch from Starcade 93 when these two men met to break a tie in the World Title Round Robin Tournament 9 months ago. Some say if not for Kevin Sullivan’s interference Nash never would have defeated The Undertaker and gone on to face Bret that night for the title. Well Undertaker has finally rid himself of Kevin Sullivan, and he is now on Bret’s team for War Games, making tonight’s match between Nash and Taker all that much more explosive. Plus NWA World Champion Bret Hart faces his turncoat Brother In Law Jim Niedhardt in non title action, and we will talk to the man who will challenge YOU Johnny Polo for the International Title at WrestleWar ’94, former NWA World Champion Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat is here!!! Now let’s head to the ring for our opening match!!!SABU WITH SONNY ONOO VS. SUPER CALO Calo is making his NWA debut here tonight, and Styles puts him over as one of the craziest luchadores in Mexico today. And course we all know how well balanced Sabu is. These two throw it all at each other to start as Sabu slides into the ring and dives right for Calo’s legs but Calo moves away. After trading punches, chops and hiptosses Calo blocks a hip toss, flips out of it and murders Sabu with a short arm clothesline and follows it up with a moonsault press for a two count. Sabu takes a little more punishment before reversing a Irish whip into the corner and then smashing Calo with leaping hip splash!!!! Calo slumps in the corner and Sabu brings him out of it with a tornado DDT that only gets a two. Sabu then locks in the Camel Clutch and tries to draw a submission while Polo and Styles argue about who is going to win the TV Title tournament finals match between the Kid and Sabu at WrestleWar. Calo fights out of the Camel Clutch and after a series of dropkicks and clothesline is able to knock Sabu out of the ring. Calo follows Sabu out and hits a snap suplex on the concrete floor. Calo then climbs back into the ring and hits a slingshot swanton from the ring to the friggin concrete floor on Sabu!!! Calo rolls Sabu back into the ring and Sabu still somehow kicks out at two. Polo says you are going to need a nuke to take Sabu out. Calo tries climbing the ropes, but Sonny Onoo jumps on the ring apron to distract the referee and Calo, giving Sabu enough time to recover and crotch Calo on the top rope. Sabu climbs up and hits a hurricanrana from the top rope!!!! Sabu makes a cover 1-2-NO CALO KICKS OUT SOMEHOW!!!! Sabu dropkicks Calo in the face, angry that Calo won’t die. Another cover gets another two count. Sabu climbs the ropes and tries for a moonsault press, but Calo gets his knees up and Sabu catches them in the ribs!!!! Calo grabs Sabu and hits a running Ligerbomb!!!! 1-2-NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Sabu somehow kicks out at the last possible split second!!!! Calo sends Sabu into the ropes and tries for a hurrincanrana, but Sabu blocks it and powerbomb the mess out of Calo!!! Sabu follows up with A SPRINGBOARD MOONSAULT!!!!! and a cover that finally gets the three count and the victory for Sabu!!! WINNER: SABU @6:55 The Undertaker and Paul Bearer are backstage with Missy Hyatt, tonight Undertaker gets a rematch with Kevin Nash that he h as been waiting 9 long months to get. Taker tells Nash not to worry about facing him in the War Games, because tonight The Undertaker plans to send Nash to his final resting place!!!!! . . . BEGIN COMMERCIAL BLOCK ONE (9:12):MTV UNPLUGGED!!!TONY LITTLE’S AB ISOLATER!!!!!THE NEXT KARATE KID COMING TO THEATERS THIS WEEK!!!!DON’T MISS NWA WORLDWIDE WRESTLING, HERE ON MTV AT 7 PM EST THIS SUNDAY NIGHT! END COMMERCIAL BLOCK #1(9:15). . . Missy Hyatt is backstage trying to get a word with Ricky Steamboat about his match at Fall Brawl with International Champion Johnny Polo when he is interrupted by Harlem Heat and Woman. Woman says that they respect what Steamboat did in defeating Shane Douglas, but it’s time for Harlem Heat to be heard and Steamboat needs to take a powder. Steamboat says this is his interview time and no one is going to tell him otherwise. Just when it looks like things might get rough the NWA World Tag Team Champion The Nasty Boys show up to back Steamboat’s play. Harlem Heat back down for now but say this isn’t over by a long shot. JIM “THE ANVIL” NEIDHARDT W/JIMMY HART VS. NWA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION BRET HART The Anvil and The Mouth of the South turned their backs on The World Champion two weeks ago, leaving Hart’s War Games team in a lurch. Jimmy Hart has since claimed that he made Bret and has vowed to find another wrestler to guide to the World Title and prove it. This is of course a non title match. The brothers in law as well as former Tag Team partners waste no time in slugging it out. Neidhardt is the stronger of the two and uses that advantage by powerslamming Bret after throwing him into the ropes, but The Anvil can’t even get a one count from that. Neidhardt whips Bret hard into the corner where he runs chest first into the turnbuckle and crashes to the mat like he was shot. Styles wonders aloud how smart it was for Bret to take this match so close to War Games, especially with all the injuries Bret has been fighting through. Neidhardt hits a running powerslam that gets a two count, and argues with the referee about what he perceived to be a slow count. The Anvil locks in a reverse chinlock as Styles says we have to take a commercial break!!! . . . BEGIN COMMERCIAL BLOCK 2 (9:27)HENRY ROLLINS SAYS THE STRONG DON’T NEED GUNS! Bret now goes to work with a snap suplex and a Russian legsweep that gets a two count!!!! Bret has The Anvil in the corner, climbs the turnbuckle and rocks The Anvil with 10 punches as the crowd counts along!!!! Side back breaker by Bret that gets another two count!!!A bulldog by Bret gets another two count!!! Elbow off the middle rope also gets a two count!!! Bret is rolling as he hits the inverted atomic drop and signals for the Sharpshooter!!! Bret starts to lock the hold in when Jimmy Hart jumps in the ring and blasts Bret with the megaphone drawing the DQ!!!! WINNER: BRET HART BY DQ @ 9:43 (6:43 shown) Bret totally no sells the Megaphone shot and Jimmy is backtracking as Bret backs him into the corner!!! Bret grabs Jimmy by the lapels and is about to brain him when The Anvil hits Bret from behind!!! The Anvil pounds on Bret some and whips Bret into the ropes, The Anvil drops his head too soon however, and Bret is able to kick him in the face!!! The Anvil reels backward into the ropes and Bret clotheslines him out of the ring!!!!! The Anvil and Jimmy Hart regroup and the floor and leave as Bret holds the ropes open and invites them back in for some more! Bret then goes over to the broadcast table and Joey Styles who asks Bret if he has heard anything from Terry Funk yet. Bret says he has not, but he is hoping to hear from Funk soon as to whether or not he will be the final member of Bret’s War Games team. Bret then mentions tonight’s main event between Undertaker and Kevin Nash and says he knows the Wolfpac will be watching, but so will he and Ron Simmons and if the Wolfpac wants to start the war tonight, he and Simmons will be happy to oblige them!!!! . . . KEVIN NASH W/DIAMOND DALLAS PAGE VS. UNDERTAKER W/PAUL BEARER Johnny Polo is excited to announce that he has talked to Harlem Heat and his dear close personal friend Woman, and next week, right here on WNW, Polo is going to team with Harlem Heat to battle Ricky Steamboat and the NWA World Tag Team Champions The Nasty Boys, just a few short days before WrestleWar!!!! Nash and Page are out first and then Taker makes his ominous entrance. Nash doesn’t seemed phased by it, but Page is a bit freaked out. Taker and Nash start with a staredown and Nash challenges Taker to a test of strength, which as soon as Taker starts to win, Nash cheap shots him. Nash takes control after that whipping Taker from corner to corner and following him in with running splashes. After the fourth splash Nash unloads on Taker with knees to the gut and elbow to the head before pulling him out and hitting a sidewalk slam that gets a two count. Nash works Taker over some more then whips him into the ropes, Taker ducks a clothesline, a back elbow and another clothesline before connecting with a leaping clothesline of his own. Taker whips Nash into the corner and then unloads with lightning fast punches to the head and body of Nash that has the big man rocking and rolling!!! Page jumps up on the apron and Taker stops the assault long enough to clothesline Page off!!!! Taker then runs his thumb across his throat, grabs Nash’ arm and twists it, he then walks the ropes and comes down with a massive chop!!! Taker hits the ropes and drops a leg across Nash’s chest, but a cover only gets a two count!!! Taker tries to pull Nash into a Tombstone, but Nash slips out the back door and rocks Taker with a standing clothesline, Nash hits the ropes and hits Taker with a second clothesline but Taker doesn’t fall, Nash hits the ropes again and swings wildly with another clothesline but Taker ducks. Nash hits the ropes and the two men level each other with big boots!!!! It takes several seconds for the two men to start to stir, as they rise to their feet they are trading punches, Nash gets the upperhand after raking Taker’s eyes, he then grabs Taker and drops him with Snake Eyes across the top turnbuckle but only gets a two count. Nash drops the straps and signals for a Jack Knife powerbomb!!! Nash sets Taker up, but Taker backdrops out of it!!! Taker then grabs the goozle on Nash for the chokeslam, but Nash kicks Taker in the gut to break it!!!! Nash then sets Taker up for the Jackknife, but as Nash raises Taker up on his shoulders for it, Taker blasts Nash in the face with a punch, which causes Nash to release Taker, who lands on his feet!!! The Patriot blocks it and plasters Hall with a shot to the jaw knocking Hall back into the corner!!!! Now it’s Hall’s turn to go to work, and he does. Battering The Patriot around the ring and hitting his signature spots, he cockily tries to cover the Patriot after a fall away slam by simply lying against The Patriot, and that almost backfires as the Patriot almost catches Hall with a crucifix pin!!! The Patriot starts to make the big comeback, he is knocking Hall around with clotheslines, and looks like he might get the win, until Hall catches Patriot during one of the masked men’s charges and drops him throat first across the top rope!!! Dangerously only goes where the best wrestling and the best wrestlers in the world are, and that is right here in the NWA!!! I got sick and tired of sitting up in New York watching a bunch of cartoon wrestlers, and has-beens try and pretend it’s still 1984 and they are trying to sell plastic dolls and ice cream bars, AND IT MADE ME SICK!!!!
I was down south, with an organization owned by an insane billionaire that had no idea what wrestling was, he just liked his “rasslin” to go along with his Andy Griffith marathons and his hick baseball team!!!!! But now…..now I am here in the NATIONAL WRESTLING ALLIANCE, HOME OF REAL WRESTLING!!!! There are no cartoon characters, there are no pretty blue mats outside the ring, and no over the hill has beens using politics to hold onto their spots!!!! Here is where the greatest wrestlers in the world come to prove that they are the best, and that is what I am here to be a part of. TONIGHT THE WRESTLING WORLD BETTER STAND UP AND TAKE NOTICE, AS THE NWA DECLARES WAR!!!!!!!!!!A brief 45 second video then plays set to RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE’S KILLING IN THE NAME OF it shows highlights of wrestlers competing in tonight’s Pay Per View, it concludes with a big countdown clock that takes up the whole screen then shrinks down to the corner of the screen. Joey is still in shock that Paul E is here. Paul E tells him to get over it and that he is going to be here all night. Joey wonders what else is going to happen tonight, and plugs the pay per view telling the fans at home to order the Pay Per View if they haven’t already. SUPER DELFIN VS. Delfin is refusing to give up as Togo cranks on the STF. After a couple of minutes, Togo releases the STF and rips Delfin off the mat by the mask!! Togo whips Delfin into the ropes and hits a powerslam!! Togo covers, but Delfin kicks out at 2!!!! Togo argues with the referee, allowing Delfin to get ho his feet, grab a waistlock and hit a german suplex!!! Delfin holds on and rolls through with the German Suplex, stands up with Togo and transitions into a Tiger Suplex with a Bridge!!!! 1-2- TOGO KICKS OUT!!!!! HE PULLS TOGO OFF THE MAT AND HITS A BRAINBUSTER!!!!! COVER 1-2-3!!!!!!! DELFIN WINS!!!!! WINNER: SUPER DELFIN @8:09 Styles and Dangeoursly put over the guys in the last match and they both say that they hope to see them compete more in the NWA with Dangerously saying that you don’t see wrestling like that anywhere else, which is why people are flocking to the NWA. Speaking of people flocking to the NWA, Styles sends us to the back and Gordon Solie who is with a man who just signed with the NWA, a superstar in Puerto Rico, and a second generation superstar whose father was one of the biggest names in wrestling in his time, Miguel Perez Jr!! Gordon thanks Styles and welcomes Miguel to the NWA. Miguel says this is a dream come true, he has always dreamed of wrestling in the states like his father did, and now he is a part of the greatest wrestling organization in the world, the National Wrestling Alliance, before Perez can say anything else, he and Gordon are interrupted by CHRIS ADAMS AND DAVID TAYLOR!!!!They want to know where their interview time is? Bad enough both men were left off the Pay Per View, bad enough Adams has to wrestle The Patriot here next on World Wide, but they don’t even get interviewed and this guy does. Adams says they should teach Perez a lesson. Just then Adam’s opponent for tonight show up! The Patriot says if Adams and Taylor are so eager to get it on with Miguel Perez, how about he and Adams make a change to their match and make it a tag match, Adams and Taylor vs. Patriot and Perez!!! Adams agrees and says Perez’s stay in the NWA is going to be a very short one!!! . . . COMMERCIAL BREAK BLOCK #1 . . . ADAMS AND TAYLOR’S THEME!!!PATRIOT’S THEME!!!! CHRIS ADAMS AND DAVID TAYLOR VS. THE PATRIOT AND MIGUEL PEREZ JR. Adams and Taylor jump Patriot and Perez before the bell, but the babyfaces are able to turn the tide and take control of the match, launching the Brits out of the ring. Patriot and Perez pump up the crowd while Adams and Taylor regroup on the outside. Perez decides not to give them too much time to regroup, Patriot drops down to his hands and knees, Perez bounces off the ropes and jumps off the Patriot’s back with a crossbody plancha onto Adams and Taylor on the floor!!!! Perez rolls Adams into the ring and Patriot goes to work! Patriot is whipping Adams all over the ring. He tosses Adams hard into the corner and follows up with a Patriot Splash!!! Adams staggers out of the corner and Patriot hits a Press Slam on Adams, Taylor tries to run into the ring and gets press slammed by the Patriot as well!!!! The Patriot is on fire as he backs Adams into the corner and rains ten punches down on his head!!! Patriot then hip tosses Adams out of the corner!!! Adams backs up and begs off, but The Patriot presses his advantage, Taylor runs back into the ring again, but Patriot spins around and clocks him before Taylor can attack. But that opens the door to Adams who jumps to his feet and connects with his patented Super Kick when Patriot turns around!!!! Adams makes the cover 1-2- PEREZ breaks it up!!!! Referee Pee Wee Moore is pushing Perez out of the ring and Perez is arguing with Moore. Regretablly all this does is allow Taylor to jump in the ring and he and Adams hit the Patriot with a double suplex! Adams slaps his hands together to make it sound like they made a tag as Taylor makes a cover!! Moore turns around to count 1-2-PATRIOT KICKS OUT!!! Adams and Taylor then cut the ring off and work Patriot over with double teams, never allowing him in to make the tag. Things look bleak for the Patriot when he finds a way to leapfrog Adams and come back with an explosive shoulder tackle!!! Patriot then makes the long crawl to make the tag to Perez!!! Patriot tags Perez just as Adams tags Taylor!!! Taylor and Perez meet in the middle of the ring and are trading punches, Perez gets the upperhand, kicks Taylor in the gut and hits a gutwrench sitout powerbomb!!!! Perez makes the pin!! 1-2-TAYLOR KICKS OUT!!! Perez hits a standing moonsault!!! COVER!!! 1-2-ADAMS BREAKS IT UP!!! Adams pushes Moore off, and he and Taylor whip Perez into the ropes, Perez ducks a double clothesline and explodes into the air and clotheslines both men!!! Patriot now jumps into the ring and it’s PEIR SIX BRAWL!!!!! Patriot clotheslines Adams out, Perez whips Taylor to The Patriot who catches him in a Full Nelson and then a Full Nelson slam, Perez climbs to the top rope and hits The Puerto Rican Jam (Driving Knee from the top rope), Perez makes the cover and gets the three count!!!!! WINNERS: THE PATRIOT AND MIGUEL PEREZ @7:12 Patriot and Perez high five each other and celebrate in the ring, while Joey says not to go away, when we come back we’ll have the coin toss between captains Kevin Nash and World Champion Bret Hart to decide who will have the advantage in War Games!!!! . . . COMMERCIAL BREAK #2 . . . Joey Styles and Paul E Dangerously are seated at ringside. Joey and Paul say there isn’t much time left to order WrestleWar ’94 and they urge fans to do so. Why waste your money on the crap other so called wrestling promotions try and sell you? WrestleWar ’94 promises to bring you 3 hours of the hottest wrestling action on the planet, just look at what has happened on the pregame show!!!! They then go over the rules to War Games and why it is so important to get the advantage from the coin flip. Several times during the match one team will be out numbered, and that can make it easier to injure someone bad enough to force a submission once the Match Beyond begins. They then throw it up to the ring and Gordon Solie. Gordon is standing in the middle of the ring. He thanks Joey and Paul, then introduces the two captains for their respective War Games teams, first leader of the Wolfpac, accompined by Diamond Dallas Page, here is Kevin Nash! . . . . . Gordon then asks us to welcome, accompanied by former NWA World Heavyweight Champion Terry Funk, the current NWA World Heavyweight Champion BRET HART!!!!! . . . Solie then introduces referee Nick Patrick who shows the coin to both men, and says as World Champion Bret Hart has the right to call it. Patrick tosses it into the air, Bret calls Heads and KEVIN NASH SNATCHES THE COIN OUT OF THE AIR!!!!! Nash then makes a challenge to Bret, a Captain’s Challenge. He challenges Bret to wrestle him right here, right now with the winner’s team getting the advantage, no titles on the line, just for the advantage, unless Bret is too much of a coward to do it. Bret agrees and tells Nick Patrick to call for the bell!!!! Solie , Funk and Page are trying to get out of the ring as Styles yells that we have to go to a break but when we come back, BRET HART WILL BATTLE KEVIN NASH!!!!! . . . COMMERCIAL BREAK BLOCK #3 . . . . NON TITLE: WORLD CHAMPION BRET HART W/TERRY FUNK VS. KEVIN NASH W/DDP WINNER’S TEAM GETS WAR GAMES ADVANTAGE The match is joined in progress as it started during the commercial break. Bret is in control and is whipping Nash into the ropes and connecting with a dropkick when we return. Bret hits a side Russian legsweep and pops over for a 2 count. Bret starts working over Nash’s legs and seemingly has this match in control when DDP jumps up on the apron to distract referee Nick Patrick. Bret stops beating on Nash and heads over to Page, Page tries to hit Bret, but Bret blocks it and blast Page, knocking him off the apron to the concrete floor. Bret then turns around, right into a big boot from Nash!!!!! Nash launches Bret chest first into the corner!!! He then lifts Bret up, sets him in the corner and starts choking him with a boot. Nash smack talks Bret a little and then starts laying in the elbows!!!! Nash then rips the bandage ofobbers Bret with a stiff forearm and then whips him into the of Bret’s head, which Styles says is from the chair shot on Wednesday Night and that Bret had to get 47 stitches to close the wound. With the stitches exposed Nash drops Bret with snake eyes over the turnbuckle!!Nash picks Bret up again and hits another snake eyes!!! Bret’s cut has been re opened and he is starting to bleed as Nash carries Bret out to the middle of the ring and drops him with a vicious sidewalk slam!!! Nash makes the cover 1-2-BRET KICKS OUT!! Nash start s to pound on Bret’s cut with his gloved hand, opening the would further. As Gordon Solie in the back would no doubt say, Bret’s face has been turned into the proverbial crimson mask!!! On the outside of the ring, Funk is cheering Bret on while DDP is still lying on the concrete floor, out cold from Bret’s punch earlier. Nash points down and yells something at Funk. He then lifts Bret up and tries to bodyslam him, but Bret slips out the back door and rolls Nash up for a 2 count!!! Nash is pissed, he clobbers Bret with a STIFF forearm and then whips him hard into the corner. Nash tries to follow Bret in with a knee, but Bret moves and Nash rams his knee into the turnbuckle!!! Nash limps out of the corner and Bret kicks Nash’s leg out from under him!!!! Bret now starts to work Nash’s leg again, stomping on the knee, dropping an elbow on it and grinding away at it. Bret locks in a Figure Four Leglock, and while he cranks on it, blood pours from Bret’s head. Nash fights the figure four and is able to reach the ropes forcing the break. Nash is hobbling to his feet, Bret gets on the second turnbuckle leaps off and hits a bulldog on Nash!!! Cover!! 1-2-NO NASH KICKS OUT!!! Bret hits the elbow off the second rope, cover, 1-2-NO NASH KICKS OUT AGAIN!!!! Bret runs the ropes and tries to hit Nash with a crossbody block, but Nash catches him!!! Nash carries Bret over and tries to drop him with snake eyes again in the corner, but Bret slips out and rams Nash chest first into the corner and then rolls him up!! 1-2-NO NASH KICKS OUT!!! Nash is up against the ropes and Bret dropkicks him out of the ring!!! Nash is on his feet on the arena floor and Bret tries for a pescado but Nash catches him!!! Nash then rams Bret’s back into the ring post!!! Nash rolls into the ring, leaving a bloody Bret lying on the arena floor next to a still KOed DDP!!! In the ring Nash starts yelling and arguing with Terry Funk, Funk actually climbs up on the apron to argue with Nash as well, Nick Patrick is warning both men and telling Funk to get down as Bret is somehow able to pull himself to his feet on the outside. Just as Bret is about to climb back into the ring, DDP jumps to his feet and hits a Diamond Cutter out of nowhere on the hard concrete floor!!! Bret is out cold!!!!! Page gives the Diamond Cutter sign to some ringside fans who are beyond pissed!!! Funk realizing what has happened, drops off the apron and chases after DDP who runs away from Funk back to the locker room. But since Nick Patrick’s back was turned, trying to get Funk off the apron, he did not see Page hit the Diamond Cutter. Patrick counts Bret out, and Bret is not moving at all. Patrick reaches ten and calls for the bell as Styles cannot believe that the Wolfpac has once again stolen a match!!! WINNER: KEVIN NASH VIA COUNT OUT @13:45 (10:45 SHOWN) Nash is standing in the ring, arms raised as Ron Simmons and Terry Funk come out to help Bret who is still out and lying in a huge pool of his own blood.Dangerously says not only has Nash just won the advantage in War Games, but he may have eliminated Bret before the match even begins!!! Styles tells fans that we are out of time, switch over to the Pay Per View channel that is showing WrestleWar ’94 because the time for talking is over, WRESTLEWAR HAS BEGUN!!!!

The camera pans around the Gund Arena catching the excitement in the air!!! Fireworks go off from the entrance stage to above the ring bringing everyone to a fever pitch!!!! Joey Styles and Paul E Dangerously are seated at ringside!!! Joey Styles: Don’t adjust your sets, if for whatever reason you missed WorldWide, yes this is Paul E Dangerously seated next to me.Paul E Dangerously: I can speak for myself Joey Styles! I am Paul E Dangerously, and I am here because I have always said when the revolution begins I will be there, and the revolution, the evolution of professional wrestling has begun right here in the only wrestling promotion in the World today, the NWA. This isn’t Sports Entertainment, this isn’t about an old man trying to get relive his so called glory days, this isn’t a bunch of masked men flipping around some dingy building in Texas, or people in face paint running around a city playing with each other, this is wrestling and tonight the NWA will take the bar it has already set to the highest possible rung and set it even higher!!!!!Joey Styles: Fans, in case you missed WorldWide Wrestling, then you missed, just a few short moments ago, World Champion Bret Hart facing Kevin Nash in a Captain’s Match where the winner’s team would receive the advantage in War Games. Not only did Kevin Nash defeat Bret by Count Out, with a little help from Diamond Dallas Page and a Diamond Cutter, but Nash also ripped the 47 stitches Bret had to get Wednesday Night wide open.Paul E Dangerously: It doesn’t matter how Nash did it Joey Styles, all that matters is that he did it, and Bret Hart didn’t look like he was going to be able to climb into the double cage here tonight! And if he can’t that means the Wolfpac will easily come away with the win, and then Nash gets to name whatever match he wants against Bret Hart for the World Title.Joey Styles:[I[ That remains to be seen. Fans tonight at WrestleWar ’94, not only will you see WAR GAMES, but 3 titles will be on the line, plus the debut of Bam Bam Bigelow and so much more! Now let’s go to the ring for our opening match!!! JERRY LYNN VS. LANCE STORM The two men circle each other, until finally locking up, they jocky for position, Storm hits the arm drag and tries to lock in an arm wringer but Lynn rolls through floats over and hits an arm drag on his own. Storm runs the ropes and tries for a clothesline, but Lynn ducks it, Lynn leapfrogs Storm and then tries to rana him, but Storm blocks it and hits a sit out powerbomb!!! Storm holds on for the pinning predicament!! 1-2- NO!!! Lynn gets a shoulder up. Storm pulls Lynn to his feet and hits a snap suplex!! Cover! 1-2-NO LYNN KICKS OUT!!! Storm isn’t letting up belly to back suplex with a bridge follows! 1-2-NO LYNN KICKS OUT AGAIN!!! Storm whips Lynn into the ropes and then rolls him into a single leg boston crab!!!! Storm sits back on the hold, wrenching it in. Lynn is struggling to get to the ropes, after several minutes of clawing he does and referee Pee Wee Moore calls for the break. Lynn pulls himself to his feet by the ropes and Storm tries a running clothesline to clothesline Lynn out of the ring, but Lynn drops his head and backdrops Storm over the top!!! Storm however lands on his feet on the apron, spins Lynn around and tries to suplex Lynn out of the ring. Lynn fights it off, blasts Storm with some hard chops then doubles him over with a knee to the gut. Lynn then uses the top rope slingshot himself over Storm , into a type of sunset flip where he ends up powerbombing Storm from the apron to the cold concrete floor!!!! Lynn poses for the crowd and Storm is holding his head in pain on the floor. Lynn rolls Storm back in the ring, climbs the ropes, poses again for the fans and hits a moonsault on Storm!! Cover 1-2-NO STORM KICKS OUT!!! Dangerously says that if Lynn hadn’t been catering to the fans he would have gotten the cover there. Just then Terri shows up in the aisle, smoking on her cigar and watching the match. Styles wonders what Terri is doing here and Dangerously figures she must be scouting for talent, but he isn’t sure what she is looking for the talent for, in the ring, out of the ring, or both. Back in the ring. Lynn pulls Storm to his feet and hits a gordbuster. Lynn makes the cover, but only gets a two count. Lynn whips Storm hard into the corner and nails him with a leaping splash!!! Lynn hits a snap suplex on Storm, climbs the ropes and launches himself off with a Frog Splash, but Storm gets his knees up and Lynn crashes into them!!! Storm then locks in a Northern Lights Suplex with a bridge!! 1-2- NO!!! LYNN KICKS OUT!!! Storm tosses Lynn out of the ring to the concrete floor. Storm runs the ropes and then launches himself out of the ring onto Lynn with a over the top rope suicide dive that crushes Lynn!!! Storm jumps to his feet and raises his hands in the air to taunt the crowd. Storm rolls Lynn back into the ring and hits a slingshot splash. Cover!! 1-2- LYN BARELY GETS A SHOULDER UP!!! Storm argues with Pee Wee Moore about the count. He then whips Lynn hard into the corner. Storm fires off some stiff chops and then sets Lynn up on the top rope. Storm tries for a Superplex but Lynn blocks it, fight is off, and then HITS A CRADLE PILEDRIVER FROM THE MIDDLE ROPE!!!! STORM IS DEAD IN THE RING!!!! LYNN MAKES THE COVER AND GETS THE THREE COUNT!!!!!! WINNER: JERRY LYNN @14:22 Lynn celebrates in the ring, in the aisle Terri takes a long draw off her cigar, gives a brief clap and walks to the back. Dangerously says he’d love to the clap for Terri sometime. Styles sends us to the back and Gordon Solie who is outside the trainers’ room, checking on the status of Bret Hart. Solie says at this time there isn’t a whole lot to report. All three members of Bret’s War Games team are in the trainers’ room with Bret and the trainers and the trainers have been trying to get the cut to close. Bret is refusing to go to the hospital to get staples as it seems stitches are not going to be enough to close the now gapping cut. Solie says he will have more information for us as we get closer to War Games. THE SMOKING GUNNS VS. HAKUSHI AND KURASAWA W/SONNY ONOO Billy and Hakushi start out the match, which is fitting since their TV Title Tournament match is what started the string of events that lead to this matchup. Billy and Hakushi tie up, Hakushi hits a stiff chop to Billy’s neck and then drops him to the mat with a fallaway slam. Hakushi then hits Billy with a stiff savate kick, drags him over and makes a tag to the “Japanese Submission Machine” Kurasawa. Kurasawa flattens Billy with a running lariat and then kicks him right in the face as he tries to stand up with a running boot. Kurasawa makes a cover, but only gets a two count. Tag out to Hakushi, Kurasawa drops Billy with a scoop slam, and Hakushi hits a slingshot twisting splash on Billy and makes a cover, that too only gets a 2 count. Hakushi locks in a boston crab, but transitions into a jackknife rollup that gets a two count, Billy bridges out into a powerbomb attempt, but as he lifts Hakushi into position, Hakushi hurricanrana’s out of it!! Hakushi rushes at Billy, Billy ducks a clothesline and then catches Hakushi with a powerslam!!! Billy makes a cover and gets 2! Billy makes the tag to Bart, sets Hakushi up in a backbreaker over his knee and Bart comes off the top rope with an elbow drop, using the old Demolition Decapitation move. Bart makes a cover, but only gets two. Bart hits a German Suplex and bridges, but once again only gets a two count. Bart whips Hakushi into the corner, and tries to follow him in, but Hakushi explodes out of the corner and damn near takes Bart’s head off with a wicked dropkick. Hakushi hits a snap suplex on Bart followed by a butterfly powerbomb, Hakushi covers! 1-2-BART KICKS OUT!! Hakushi whips Bart into the ropes and hits a tilt a whirl slam, Hakushi rolls out to the apron, climbs the ropes, prays for a second and hits a diving headbutt!! COVER!!! 1-2-NO!!! BART KICKS OUT!!!! Hakushi then makes the tag to Kurasawa. Kurrasawa lifts Bart up on his shoulder, Hakushi climbs the ropes and hits a clothesline for the Doomsday Device!!! Kurasawa makes the cover!! 1-2- BILLY GUNN BREAKS UP THE COUNT!!! Billy is firing away with punches on Kurasawa, Kurasawa backdrops Billy over the top rope, and is then clotheslined by Bart over the top. Hakushi then superkicks Bart out of the ring. The three men are trying to gather themselves on the outside, while on the inside Hakushi runs the ropes. Hakushi jumps into a cartwheel, into a backflip, into a BACKFLIP OVER THE TOP ROPE ONTO THE THREE MEN ON THE CONCRETE FLOOR BELOW!!!!! Which causes Styles to break out the first “OH MY GOD!!!” Of the night!!!! All four men are totally wiped out as Styles says that move is called the Flying Space Tiger Drop, Dangerously says he just calls it effective!!! Kurasawa is first to his feet and he rolls Bart back into the ring and tries for a cover!! 1-2-NO BART KICKS OUT!!! Kurasawa then goes to work on Bart’s surgically repaired shoulder and arm. As he kicks and grinds on Bart’s arm Styles relates that Bart had to have surgery to repair a rotator cuff injury that put him on the shelf for over 6 weeks and says that once injured the shoulder is easily reinjured. Kurrasawa is relentless, driving Bart shoulder first into the turnbuckle several times before tagging out to Hakushi. Hakushi doesn’t let up either, applying several arm bars before transitioning into a crucifix armbar. Bart is screaming in pain but will not give up. Hakushi finally releases the hold, and tags in Kurasawa who is done messing around and locks on the Fujiwara arm bar. Dangerously says Kurasawa has broken many a wrestlers arm with this hold and there is no way Bart can hang in for long. Billy must realize the same thing because he is quickly in the ring breaking up the hold with a kick to the head!!! Hakushi then jumps into the ring and nails Billy with a running spin kick!!! Hakushi then drop kicks Billy out of the ring, and climbs onto the apron. Billy stands up with his back against the commentary table, Hakushi leaps onto the second rope and tries for an Asai Moonsault, but Billy moves and Hakushi crashes onto the commentary table!!! Styles and Dangerously tried to scramble away as Hakushi was in mid air. The table does not break but Hakushi falls off the table, wiping out the commentary for a second. Back in the ring, Kurasawa is about to lock the armbar on again when Billy slides into the ring and clotheslines Kurasawa out of his boots!!! Referee Dave Hebner pushes Billy out of the ring as both Kurasawa and Bart are out on the mat. On the outside, Sonny Onoo is checking on Hakushi while Styles and Dangerously have finally gotten back to commentary. Bart is slowly trying to crawl to tag out to Billy, but only has one working arm. Kurasawa stops Bart short, by grabbing his leg. Bart is pulled up by his let and responds by decking Kurasawa with an Enziguri!!!! Bart is then able to make the tag to Billy!!! Billy comes in and fires off punches at Kurasawa, Billy sends him into the ropes and he and Bart connect with a double drop kick!!! Billy makes the cover 1-2- KURASAWA KICKS OUT!!!! Billy hits a spinning neckbreaker!!! Cover!!! 1-2-KURASAWA KICKS OUT AGAIN. Billy then makes the tag to Bart. Billy grabs Kurasawa for a spinning side slam, but before he drops him, Bart jumps off the top rope with a leg drop for the Sidewinder!!! Bart makes the cover and gets the three count!!!! The Smoking Gunns have won it!!! WIINERS: THE SMOKING GUNNS @17:17 Dangerously says there is no way the Gunns would have won it if Hakushi hadn’t taken himself out of the match. Styles says that he thinks these two will meet again, but no matter what whomever wins the World Tag Title Street Fight later tonight better be ready to face one of these teams. Styles then sends us to ringside and to one of the newest members of the NWA, Bruce Prichard who is with the Smoking Gunns. Bart is still selling the arm, as Bruce congratulates the men on their big win here tonight. Billy says that the Smoking Gunns are back and better than ever and says they aren’t going to stop winning until they get the NWA World Tag Team Titles, Nasty Boys, Harlem Heat both teams are on notice, the Smoking Gunns are coming for the titles!!!! Styles says the tag team competition in the NWA is second to none and that the talented teams vying for the NWA World Tag Team titles speak to how coveted the titles are. Styles and Dangerously then start to talk about Jimmy Hart, Jim Neidhardt and how they turned on Bret Hart several weeks ago. The Anvil was supposed to be the fourth man on Bret’s team in tonight’s War Games match, but The Anvil and Jimmy Hart turned on Bret for a briefcase full of cash from the Wolfpac. Styles says that Jimmy and The Anvil claim Bret ignored them for too long, and Jimmy claims that if it wasn’t for him Bret would still be in Canada trying to make it as a wrestler. Jimmy has gone so far as to say that this coming Wednesday Night Live on MTV, Jimmy will debut a new wrestler here in the NWA that he will teach everything he taught to Bret and lead to the NWA World Title. Tonight though, Jimmy has to guide “The Anvil” against the capable Ice Train! ICE TRAIN VS. JIM “THE ANVIL” NIEDHARDT W/JIMMY HART Train starts things off fast backing The Anvil into a corner, whipping him to the other side and connecting with a jumping splash. Train goes to the well a second time by whipping The Anvil back across the ring and trying for a second splash, but The Anvil moves and Train eats turnbuckle. Anvil then tries to knock Train out with a DDT, but the pin attempt only gets a two. Anvil cranks on Train’s neck on the mat and talks trash to the crowd. A belly to back suplex drops Train right on his head. The Anvil gets to his feet and has a nice laugh about that before trying for a pin, but once again just gets a two count. The Anvil goes back to work on Train’s neck, twisting it in ways it’s not supposed to go. Anvil tries to whip Train into the ropes, but Train reverses and flattens The Anvil with a Powerslam, but instead of trying to make a pin, Train gets to his feet and starts to pump his fist in the air. Dangerously asks what the hell is he trying to do, blow an imaginary whistle? He needs to get on The Anvil. Train hits the hopes and tries for a big splash, but The Anvil gets his knees up. Anvil whips Train into the ropes and hits a spinbuster. Anvil yells “THAT’S IT!!” and makes the cover but only gets a two count. Jimmy Hart is screaming into his megaphone to Anvil to stay on him. Anvil drops the Anvil Elbow on Train and makes a cover that once again only gets a two count. Anvil goes back to working the neck as Train starts to try and get the crowd behind him. Anvil tells the crowd to shut up. Train pumps his fist in the air, fights to his feet and knocks Anvil off of him. Train has Anvil rocking and rolling with punches. He whips Anvil hard into the corner and tries another leaping splash, but Anvil catches him, puts the close to 300 pounder on his shoulder and hits the Anvil Spike, the Running Powerslam for the 3 count!!! WINNER: JIM NEIDHARDT @8:17 Styles sends us to the back and to Gordon Solie who is with NWA Commissioner Dory Funk Jr. Solie thanks Joey and asks Dory about World Champion Bret Hart’s condition. Dory says they are still trying to stop the bleeding, Bret is insisting on wrestling tonight in War Games, but besides the blood loss, the doctors are afraid of Bret picking up an infection. Dory says regardless if Bret can go or not War Games will take place, and if it has to be 3 on 4 than it will. Solie thanks Dory and sends us back to ringside, with a promise to continue to follow this story and report back any new developments. JESSE JAMES ARMSTRONG VS. BAM BAM BIGELOW Dangerously puts Bigelow over as the best big man in wrestling. He relates all that Bigelow has done in Japan and the United States and says that Bigelow can be the best in the World if he really wants it. As the bell rings, Terri once again makes her presence felt, walking out to the aisle, cigar in hand, to watch the match. Jesse James tries to lock up with Bigelow to start but Bigelow throws him halfway across the ring. Armstrong jumps up and tries to take the fight to Bigelow but throwing punches, but Bigelow beats Jesse James down and then flattens him with a headbutt. Bam Bam lifts Jesse James up carries him over and press slams him over the top rope to the concrete floor!!!!! Bam Bam rolls out of the ring and tosses Jesse James into the guardrail and then hiptosses Armstrong on the floor!!!! Bigelow rolls Armstrong back into the ring and hits a slingshit splash, something unbelievable for a man Bigelow’s size. Bigelow makes the cover, but Armstrong actually kicks out at 2!!! Bigelow whips Armstrong into the corner, and tries to follow him in, but Armstrong moves and Bigelow crashes into the turnbuckle. Armstrong bounces off the ropes and hits a running bulldog, but a cover only gets a one count. Armstrong whips Bigelow into the corner, climbs the turnbuckle and starts punching Bigelow in the head, but he only gets 3 punches out before Bigelow grabs Armstrong’s legs, walks out of the corner and drops Armstrong face first across the turnbuckle!!! Bigelow grabs Armstrong and flattens him with a full release powerbomb. He then climbs to the second turnbuckle and jumps off with a Bam Bam (Vader) Bomb!!! Bigelow makes the cover 1-2-BIGELOW PULLS ARMSTRONG UP!!!! Bigelow climbs the turnbuckles again, this time going all the way to the top and EXECUTES A 400 POUND MOONSAULT!!!! Bigelow makes the cover again 1-2-BIGELOW PULLS ARMSTRONG UP AGAIN!!!!! Referee Dave Hebner tells Bigelow to end this and Bigelow tells Hebner to shut up. Bigelow carries Armstrong around on his shoulder and drops him with an over the shoulder reverse piledriver that Dangerously says Bigelow calls LIGHT’S OUT! Bigelow finally makes the cover, gets the three count and ends the match. WINNER: BAM BAM BIGELOW @5:21 Styles and Dangerously agree that Bigelow is going to be hard to stop and if he decides he wants the World Title then Bret Hart better watch out!!! Styles and Dangerously then shift gears and talk about the NWA World Tag Team Championship. They touch on what Woman did when she debuted in the NWA and how she tried to work the Champions The Nasty Boys and the Smoking Gunns against each other. After several weeks of working both sides her team, Harlem Heat, debuted and defeated the worn down Nasty Boys for the belts. Eventually the Nasty Boys were able to get a rematch for the belts and took the titles back, but Woman had a clause in the contract that stated if Harlem Heat ever lost the titles, they could name the stipulation for the rematch. They exercised that stipulation here at WrestleWar ’94 for a Harlem Street Fight, which The Nasty Boys are all too happy to take part in. Styles then sends us to the back and Bruce Prichard who is with the challengers and their manager Woman. Bruce thanks Joey and says in a few short moments, Harlem Heat will get their chance to regain the World Tag Team Titles, but aren’t they worried that the Nasty Boys may excel at a Street Fight? Woman tells Prichard not to think, it is above his skills, and to just stand there and hold the microphone because that’s all he is good for. She says the Nasty Boys embarrassed her on national TV, then they did it again when they took the Tag Titles away for Harlem Heat. Woman says she is not someone who likes to be embarrassed and tonight The Nasty Boys are going to pay for what they have done. Stevie Ray says it’s on like neck bone and tonight someone is gonna get their chin checked. Booker says Harlem Heat in coming to get the World Tag Team Titles, now can you dig THAT? Bruce sends us to the other locker room, where Gordon Solie is with the World Tag Team Champion Nasty Boys. Gordon thanks Bruce and asks The Nasty Boys if they are ready to face Harlem Heat in the Harlem Street Fight. Saggs says they were born ready! Knobbs says they have been fighting on the street since the day they were born, so it’s nothing new and to show that they are ready they brought their own plunder!!! Saggs grabs a garbage can while Knobbs grabs a hockey stick and they head out to the ring!! Gordon sends it back to ringside, and to Joey and Paul E.
HAHAHAHAHAHA” Jimmy Hart: “And Bret Hart, don’t think we have forgotten about you baby, because tonight, the crown jewel of the First Family debuts and when you see who I am bringing to the NWA it’s going to rock you to your foundation!!!!” Korn’s Blind kicks in at the 48 second mark and plays for a minute over highlights of the NWA stars Bret Hart with a clothesline on Ted Dibiase The Undertaker walking to the ring Ricky Steamboat with a crossbody block off a cage onto Shane Douglas Kevin Nash powerbombing Undertaker Stevie Ray with slam followed by a Harlem Hangover by Booker T Sabu flying out of the ring onto the Kid Bret Hart diving through the ropes at Kevin Nash The Smoking Gunns hitting the Sidewinder on Hakushi Ron Simmons with a spinebuster on Scott Hall Terry Funk carrying a branding iron to the ring Sabu putting Jerry Lynn through a table A bloody Bret Hart with the sharpshooter on Ted DibiaseJoey Styles and Paul E Dangerously are at ringside as we come on the air! They run down what happened at WrestleWAR ’94 and announce that tonight, Ricky Steamboat defends his newly won International Title against Jim Neidhardt, and if you are wondering where Johnny Polo is? Well no one knows the answer to that, Polo left the arena on Sunday Night without even changing or gathering his gear, he just wandered away and no one has heard from him sense. Also tonight, Kevin Nash has promised to make a statement after his team lost War Games when Diamond Dallas Page submitted to Terry Funk, some think that if Page could have hung on for a couple more seconds the referees would have called the match in favor of the Wolfpac because Bret Hart was in no condition to continue. All this plus The Undertaker will be in action! They then send it to prerecorded comments from NWA Commisioner Dory Funk Jr. Dory is sitting behind a desk with a suit and cowboy hat on. He thanks the fans for tuning into the show. He also thanks everyone for ordering WrestleWAR ’94 and making it such a huge success. As a thank you the NWA will be providing a free Pay Per View quality supercard entitled Fall Brawl, right here on MTV, October 30, 1994. Dory says that the Main Event for that card had been held just in case The Wolfpac had won War Games and Kevin Nash had won his title match with Bret Hart. Since The Wolfpac lost War Games, we will instead be having a match that Dory calls a Fatal Fourway match. All four men will be in the ring at one time, and the match doesn’t end till three of the men have been eliminated, and the prize for the winner? A title match with Bret Hart for the NWA World Title in the Skydome in Toronto at the Granddaddy of them all STARCADE ’94!!!!! Dory announces that International Champion Ricky Steamboat, The Undertaker and Kevin Nash will fill three of the spots in the Fatal Fourway, and next week a Battle Royal will be held right here on Wednesday Night Warriors to decide who the fourth man will be. Dory once again thanks us for watching, for supporting the NWA and he hopes we enjoy the show. KEVIN NASH & SCOTT HALL W/HHH & DDP VS. RON SIMMONS & TERRY FUNK It’s a quasi rematch from War Games to open up the card. All the men out at ringside are feeling the effects of War Games, esp DDP and Ron Simmons, both who are limping around and HHH who has a giant bandage on his head. The match is out of control from the opening bell and referee Nick Patrick doesn’t even try to curtail the explosion. Brawling in and out of the ring, a miscue by DDP almost costs Scott Hall the match, but Nash breaks it up. After a back and forth battle for the ages Nash puts Ron Simmons away with a Jackknife Powerbomb for the win. WINNERS: KEVIN NASH & SCOTT HALL Terry Funk pulls Ron Simmons out of the ring and is talking to him on the arena floor, while inside the ring Kevin Nash gets a microphone. He is not happy with the announcement by Dory Funk Jr. He says he should be facing Bret at Fall Brawl, not having to be a part of some fourway qualifying match. Nash says there is only one person to blame for this, the weak link of the Wolfpac, and then looks directly at DDP. Nash runs Page down saying he brought Page into the NWA to make sure Nash didn’t get screwed over and all DDP has done is cost Nash his World Title match. Page tries to plead his case, but Nash isn’t listening. He says when someone is trying to climb to the mountain top, and dead weight is dragging them down, the only thing to do is cut that weight lose and let it fall!!!! Hall then attacks Page from behind!!! Page tries to fight Hall off, but he eats a Big Boot from Nash!!!! Nash then grabs Page and hits a Jackknife powerbomb on him. Nash grabs Page and hits a second Jackknife, he is about to hit a third when Funk, who is still on the arena floor, throws a chair into the ring at the Wolfpac. Funk grabs another chair and rolls into the ring, the Wolfpac decides to back off leaving Funk standing besides an unconscious Diamond Dallas Page. . . COMMERCIAL BREAK . . Joey Styles and Paul E Dangerously are talking about Page being fired from the Wolfpac with Dangerously saying Page got what he deserved. Styles says that while Page gave up in War Games, no one can deny that his interference with the Diamond Cutter has helped the Wolfpac win many a match, and one has to wonder if this is going to backfire on The Wolfpac, Dangerously blows that off, saying that Styles has no idea what he is talking about. They then show footage of what happened in the finish of the Sabu-The Kid Finals match for the NWA TV Title at WrestleWAR ’94. Because of the contrevorsy surrounding that finish, and Jerry Lynn’s involvement, the NWA has granted The Kid a rematch here tonight. Joey shoots us to the back, and Gordon Solie who is with The Kid and Jerry Lynn. The Kid says he has seen the footage and he knows Jerry was just trying to help, but it backfired. The Kid tells Jerry no hard feeling but no matter what happens out there, he doesn’t want Lynn to come anywhere near the ring, he is a big boy and he can handle it on his own. Jerry asks The Kid if he is sure about this, cause Sabu is dangerous and he has that little creep Sonny Onoo with him, The Kid says he is sure, no matter what happens he wants Jerry Lynn to stay in the back. Lynn tells The Kid if that’s what he wants, that’s what he’ll get. NWA TELEVISION CHAMPION SABU W/SONNY ONOO VS. THE KID The match is all over the place with Sabu and The Kid taking flight and soaring all over the ring and out of the ring. After several minutes of intense action, Sabu misses an asai moonsault and crushes himself on the guardrail. The Kid rolls Sabu back into the ring, and hits a Moonsault press!!! It looks like The Kid has the match won, but just as Pee Wee Moore is about to slap the mat a third time, Sonny Onoo pulls him out of the ring!!! Pee Wee Moore calls for the bell DQing Sabu and then Onoo takes Moore’s head off with a karate kick!!! Onoo is very proud of himself until The Kid jumps out of the ring and starts to chase Onoo around it!!! Dangerously is aghast that The Kid would attack a manager!!!! Onoo rolls into the ring to get away from The Kid and The Kid is met by a Sabu clothesline. Onoo grabs a chair and tosses it to Sabu who plasters the Kid with it, Sabu then hits an Arabian Facebuster on The Kid!!! While all this is going on a cut box is shown at the bottom of the screen with Jerry Lynn, arms crossed watching all this go down on the monitor!!! Sabu poses in the ring over The Kid!!!! WINNER BY DQ: THE KID Dangerously says The Kid should have been careful what he wished for, cause he just got it!!!! Styles says when we come back, the Undertaker will be in action, don’t go away! . . . COMMERCIAL BREAK . . . Fidel Sierra is in the ring waving the Cuban Flag when we return from the break, then the lights go out, and The Undertaker’s music hits. UNDERTAKER W/PAUL BEARER VS. FIDEL SIERRA Total squash by the Undertaker, he towers over Sierra and no sells everything that is thrown at him before winning the match with the Tombstone Piledriver. WINNER: THE UNDERTAKER Joey Styles then climbs into the ring to interview the Undertaker and Paul Bearer. Bearer says that at Fall Brawl, The Undertaker will lay three souls to rest on his way to fulfill his quest to become the NWA World Heavyweight Champion. Undertaker says that a year ago, Kevin Sullivan cost him his shot at Starcade at the World Title, then a couple of months ago when the fans voted the Undertaker as the #1 contender to the title, The Wolfpac cost him his shot at the title. Undertaker says he has eliminated Kevin Sullivan, and he helped Bret defeat the Wolfpac in War Games, now the distractions are out of the way, all that is left is to win the Fatal Fourway and go onto Starcade, where he should have been fighting for the title a year ago, to face Bret and become the NWA World Champion. He says it isn’t personal Bret, you just have something I want, and when I want something I take it. Joey begins to ask a question but is interrupted by World Champion Bret Hart’s music!!!!! Bret heads down to the ring, and holds his hand out to shake the Undertaker’s. Taker does indeed shake Bret’s hand. Bret says he is sorry to interrupt, but he wanted to come down here and personally thank the Undertaker for being on his team at War Games, he also wishes the Undertaker luck and says it will be an honor to defend the title against Taker in Toronto at Starcade, if Taker wins the Fatal Fourway at Fall Brawl. Taker nods his head and leaves the ring, Bret says he is going to stick around to provide commentary for the next match, since Ricky Steamboat is in the Fatal Fourway match, and Jimmy Hart claims to have a surprise for Bret. Bret says he can’t wait to see what kind of scum Jimmy Hart has scrapped out of the bottom of the barrel to manage now. Ricky Steamboat, wearing the International Title, is shown walking backstage, and Paul E says that the International Title will be on the line NEXT! . . . COMMERCIAL BREAK . . . . Bret Hart is at ringside with Styles and Dangerously. They are talking about what Nash did to DDP earlier on the show and Bret says that just shows what kind of person Nash is, he never takes the blame, always looking for someone else to blame when he can’t get the job done. Just then , Jim Neidhardt’s music hits and out comes Jimmy Hart and The Anvil. Once in the ring, Jimmy asks for a microphone. Jimmy runs down Bret, then says he is going to prove that it was all Jimmy’s hardwork that made Bret into the wrestler he is today. Jimmy says he has found a wrestler, just like Bret, from a wrestling family, a submission expert, who was stuck in a backwater promotion in Canada looking for a way out, and Jimmy says this person hates Bret more than Jimmy and The Anvil do combined because Bret abandoned him just as he did Jimmy and The Anvil, the only difference is this man is Bret’s own baby brother OWEN HART!!!!!! Owen’s music hits and Owen comes down to the ring, Bret is speechless. Dangerously is trying to grill Bret about abandoning Owen but Bret refuses to talk. Owen climbs into the ring, hugs The Anvil, and hugs Jimmy Hart. Owen just looks down at Bret at ringside with a grin on his face and motions that he is going to win the NWA World Title. Ricky Steamboat’s music then hits and the Champion comes out to the ring. INTERNATIONAL CHAMPION RICKY STEAMBOAT VS. JIM “THE ANVIL” NEIDHARDT W/JIMMY HART AND OWEN HART Bret doesn’t say much during the match. The Anvil tries to use his strength against The Dragon, and tosses him around the ring. After a brief flurry from Steamboat at the start of the match, Neidhardt grinds the match to a snail’s pace and ground Steamboat. The Anvil works over Steamboat’s back and ribs. Steamboat looks to be out of it several times, he tries to mount a comeback after fighting out of a bear hug, but that is cut short. Finally Steamboat is able to make the big babyface comeback and get the win out of no where when The Anvil tries to slam Steamboat and Steamboat turns the slam into a small package for the win!!! WINNER: INTERNATIONAL CHAMPION RICKY STEAMBOAT The Anvil puts the boots to Steamboat after the match, until Bret rolls into the ring. The Anvil leaves the ring with Jimmy and Owen, Owen looks up at his brother and once again motions that he is going to be the World Champion, Bret just looks down at Owen with a look of shock and sadness. Styles says to join us next week when the fourth man that will go to Fall Brawl as a part of the Fatal Fourway will be decided!!!! He and Steamboat try to double whip Owen into the ropes, but Owen hangs on, and ducks out of the ring. Owen, Anvil and Jimmy Hart are on the floor regrouping as we head to a commercial break. . . . COMMERCIAL BREAK . . . We are back and The Anvil has Steamboat on the mat and is choking him. They show a replay of what happened during the break with The Anvil coming back into the ring, whipping Steamboat into the ropes and Owen pulling the top rope down for Steamboat to go tumbling out. Owen and The Anvil have Steamboat right where they want him and they work him over. Steamboat keeps finding a way to kick out at two, Bret hurts his team’s chances several times by rushing into the ring, causing referee Nick Patrick to turn away from the action to push Bret out and allowing Owen and The Anvil to work Steamboat over. Owen and The Anvil hit a Hart Attack on Steamboat!!! Owen makes a cover, but Bret breaks it up and all hell breaks loose, all four men are in the ring fighting. Styles says after this match he is going to get a word with Nash about it. The Colorado Kid is waiting in the ring when Nash’s music hits. KEVIN NASH W/SCOTT HALL AND HHH VS.
