Bill Mercer opens the show.
Mercer, "Welcome to 'World Class Championship Wrestling'! And Happy Fourth of July! We are just a few days away from the 'Firecracker Spectacular'. We know the World Title will be on the line, as will the Texas Title, and the American Heavyweight Title tournament will come to an end. That leads to tonight, we have two semi-final matches, and what matches they are! In the first, Chris Adams takes on Brian Adias, and in match number two, Gino Hernandez meets Iceman King Parsons. Those are our two main events, leg's go to Marc Lowrance in the ring."
Match #1
Keith Eric vs. Steve Simpson
The young man from Africa has been very impressive. Eric is game, but Simpson is too much. Steve uses his quickness and ends things with a flying bodypress. A popular win.

Spike Huber vs. John Davidson
Huber is a young powerhouse from Ft. Wayne, IN. The big California biker will be a good first test. Davidson jumps Huber before the bell. He works over the youngster and tosses him to the floor. Huber is resilient. He Returns to the ring and goes after Davidson. He scoops ip the the big man and powerslams him for the win. The fans like this youngster.
Winner-Spike Huber
Gary Hart, Sunshine and the Dynamic Duo are with Marc Lowrance.
Lowrance, "I am here with Gary Hart, Sunshine and the Dynamic Duo. Both Chris Adams are in the semi-finals. If they both win, Mr. Hart, they will meet for the title. What about your loyalties."
Hart, "What are you talking about? Chris Adams and Gino Hernandez will meet at Reunion Arena, the winner will be me. I will collect the money and the prestige of having both men in this match."
Adams, "Gino and I are friends, but we are competitors. When we meet for the American Heavyweight Title, may the best man win."
Hernandez, "That's right, we are the two best. Let's see who is 'The' best."
Lowrance, "Well, you both aren't there yet."
Sunshine, "Shut up Lowrance! Look at these two, they're the best, and they'll prove it!"
Lowrance, "We have four very confident people right here."

The Nightmares vs. Bob Marcus and Mike Reed
The Nightmares have a date with the Fantastics on July 7. The mysterious team from "Parts Unknown" have been very impressive. The bell rings and Marcus locks up with Danny Davis. Davis is very aggressive. He works over Marcus. He slams him and goes for the cover. Marcus kicks out. The Nightmares tag in and out. They keep the pressure on their opponents. Wayne uses a victory roll on Reed for the won. The Nightmares are a real threat to the titles.
Winners-The Nightmares

Mercer, "The 'Firecracker Spectacular' is fast approaching. We will be at Reunion Arena on, Monday Night, July 7. The action will be hotter than the Texas weather. Here's what you will see.

The 'Exotic' Adrian Street challenges Kevin Von Erich for the Texas Title
The American Heavyweight Champion will be determined, the winners of tonight's semi-final matches meet at Reunion Arena
And then, Kerry Von Erich, the 'Uncrowned World Champion' challenges Ric Flair for the NWA World Championship

American Heavyweight Championship Semi-Final Match
Chris Adams w/"Playboy" Gary Hart and Sunshine vs. Brian Adias
Adias and referee David Manning wait in the ring. We hear,
Chris Adams with Gary Hart and Sunshine come to the ring. Adams climbs into the ring and the crowd boos loudly. In seven months time, he has gone from one of the most popular men in texas, to one of the most hated. The bell rings and the match is underway. Adias is ready for action and he takes the fight to the "Gentleman". Adams is in retreat. He takes to the floor and confers with Hart and Sunshine. He comes back to the ring, but Adias has not slowed. He rolls up Adams and gets a two count. Chris is frustrated. He goes to some roughhouse tactics. He lands several rights and lefts. This stops Adias in his tracks. Adams continues and then hits a superkick for the win. Chris Adams will wrestle for the title on July 7.
Winner-Chris Adams
Iceman King Parsons is with Marc Lowrance.
Lowrance, "With me is the 'Iceman'. Iceman, Chris Adams is on the finals. If you can beat Gino Hernandez, you'll be in the finals, but that won't be easy."
Parsons, "Have mercy! Gino Hernandez, Hart and pretty lil' Sunshine think they gonna beat the Iceman! I'm ready for what they got! Bring it on and the Iceman will deal with it, and finish you off! 'Cause mama says it bees that way sometime!"
Lowrance, " Our second semi-final is next."

American Heavyweight Championship Semi-Final Match
Gino Hernandez w/"Playboy" Gary Hart and Sunshine vs. Iceman King Parsons
Both men are in the ring pacing back and forth. Hart has a chance to get two men in the final match. Bronko Lubich is assigned to referee this one. The bell rings and the match is on. Both men move with caution. They know how important this match is. They trade holds and counter holds and the match is dead even. Both men get nearfalls. Hart and Sunshine are worried, but Hernandez takes over and things look bad for Parsons. Gino goes for a piledriver, but Parsons blocks it. He traps Hernandez in an inside cradle. Lubich counts 1...2,,,3! Iceman wins! Hernandez, Hart and Sunshine argue with Lubich, but the Iceman wins!
Winner-Iceman King Parsons

Mercer, "What a win by the Iceman! He will now face Chris Adams at Reunion Arena. Our next broadcast will be after the 'Firecracker Spectacular'. We will have all the results for you. Join us then."
