The Pay Per View comes on the air showing fans standing outside earlier in the day waiting to get in going crazy, fans dressed as Bret Hart, Undertaker etc, it then fades into the arena where everyone is going crazy, the camera pans the crowd and the cuts to Joey Styles standing in the middle of the ring. Joey Styles: Hello everyone and welcome to the historic REUNION ARENA IN DALLAS, TEXAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I’m your host Joey Styles, and tonight, live here on Pay Per View the National Wrestling Alliance proudly kicks off the celebration of America’s 218th Birthday!!!!!! Tonight, Bret Hart puts the NWA World Title on the line against Doctor’s orders against the almost 7 foot tall monster Kevin Nash, The Undertaker takes on “Psycho” Sid Vicious, The Smoking Gunns challenge Harlem Heat for the NWA World Tag Team Titles, Johnny Polo defends his International Title against Shane Douglas and Ricky Steamboat in a Three Way Dance and so much more. But before we kick it off, please welcome my co host for the evening, he is a former NWA World Heavyweight Champion, straight from the Double Cross Ranch right here in Texas, please welcome back to the NWA and Texas

 TERRY FUNK!!!!
Funk clad in jeans, cowboy boots and a T Shirt climbs into the ring, raises his fists like he is going to fight Joey, laughs and then shakes Joey’s hand.
Joey Styles: Terry, it is good to have you here!!!
Terry Funk: Well thank ya Joey, when I told my brother I had decided to retire from wrasslin, he talked me into joining you in the booth, and I was honored. I don’t know how much I can add to the matches, but I damn sure am gonna have a good time tryin to add something!
Joey Styles: I am sure you will do fine, because tonight the NWA is throwing the biggest Bash of them all, THE GREAT AMERICAN BASH!!!!!
After a firework display, Bob Artese introduces our opening contest!!!
THE NASTY BOYS VS. CHRIS ADAMS AND DAVE TAYLOR
The Nasty Boys will have a very close eye on the World Tag Title match happening later tonight, here they do battle with the team of Chris Adams and Dave Taylor, who come to the ring waving the Union Jack, not a popular thing to do this close to the Fourth of July. The Nasty Boys show the Brits what they think of that by taking turns blowing their noses on the flag. That enrages Taylor and Adams, causing them to charge at The Nasty Boys, and things just go down hill from there. Knobbs and Saggs beat the piss out of Adams and Taylor, Taylor gets in indignity of a Pit Stop, while Adams gets taken to Nastyville after a powerslam from Knobbs followed by an elbow drop from Saggs to set up the pinfall and the victory for the Nasty Boys to open up The Great American Bash!!!
WINNER: THE NASTY BOYS
Styles and Funk talk about The Nasty Boys and Terry says he wouldn’t want to me neither the Harlem Heat nor the Smoking Gunns and have to face The Nasty Boys on Wednesday Night. Styles says that our next match will see the debut of a new wrestler here in the NWA, an unadvertised bonus match, that the fans of Texas should appreciate.
THE KID VS. JERRY LYNN
A special unadvertised bonus match, this is Lynn’s NWA debut, but he is no stranger to The Kid as these two have battled each other all over the United States, Mexico, South America, Canada, Europe and Japan in some of the most breath taking matches anyone has ever seen, and these two do not disappoint here. They got a each other full tilt, not holding anything back and throwing themselves all over the ring. Lynn tries a cradle piledriver, but is unable to hit it as The Kid backdrops Lynn instead. Lynn gets a nearfall when The Kid tries for a moonsault and Lynn gets his knees up, but somehow the Kid kicks out at 2 9/10ths!!!
Both men are trying for pinfalls as the time keeper counts down the last minute, but neither seem to be able to come up with it. The Kid even connects with a missle dropkick, but Lynn somehow finds a way to kick out of that!!! The two men are still battling as the bell rings, signifying a 15 minute time limit draw. Though both men, and the fans, want five more minutes the referee doesn’t give it to them and rules this match a draw!
WINNER: TIME LIMIT DRAW
Terry Funk: That dadgum match was something else Joey, you see those two buys flying around that ring?
Joey Styles: That I did Mr. Funk, and I think we are going to see them fight each other again real soon. Now let’s go to the back and Missy Hyatt who is with The Nasty Boys!
Missy Hyatt asks the Nasty Boys if they have a preference for which team they face Wednesday Night, and they say they don’t, but they hope that they get their hands on Harlem Heat soon, whether titles are involved or not because they owe them. Knobbs says no matter who wins the next match they better be ready to get Nasty on Wednesday Night!!!!!
NWA WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS HARLEM HEAT W/WOMAN VS. THE SMOKING GUNNS
Harlem Heat snuck in the back door a couple of weeks ago and stole the NWA World Tag Team Titles out from under the Nasty Boys. This match was supposed to feature the Nasty Boys vs. The Smoking Gunns, but once The Heat won the belts, they took over the match. Whomever wins this match will have to defend the titles against The Nasty Boys this Wednesday Night on Warriors!
Woman has Harlem Heat primed and ready to go, but The Gunns have been screwed out of the NWA Tag Titles several times in the past few months and they are chopping at the bit to get the gold. Neither team is able to get an advantage early and when one tries to cut the ring in half, they find their opponent throwing everything they have out in order to escape. Harlem Heat finally gets the upper hand when they tarp Bart Gunn in the ring. Bart takes a beating at the hands of the World Tag Team Champions while Woman barks orders. Booker executes a Spinarooni and an Ax Kick, but doesn’t get the three count when he makes the cover.
Somehow Bart is able to fight his way out of trouble and finally makes a tag to Billy!!! Billy cleans house with punches and nails Stevie Ray with a Rocker Dropper, but when he tries to go for the cover, Woman jumps on the apron to distract the referee as Booker T breaks it up with a Harlem Hangover!!!!! Booker pulls Stevie on top of Billy and bails out of the ring as the ref counts three!!!! Harlem Heat has stolen another victory!!!
WINNERS: AND STILL NWA WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS HARLEM HEAT[/B
Terry says that as long as Woman is around he doesn’t see anyone taking the Tag Titles away from Harlem Heat, they got too much of an advantage, but he damn sure wants to see Harlem Heat and The Nasty Boys hook it up on Wednesday Night!! Styles then turns attentions to the next match, a Three Way Dance for the International Title, after going over this history of the match he throws it to a video recapping all the major events between Polo-Steamboat-Douglas.
THREE WAY DANCE INTERNATIONAL CHAMPION JOHNNY POLO VS. SHANE DOUGLAS VS. RICKY STEAMBOAT
The rules here are simple, there pretty much are none. All three men are in the ring in the same time, no disqualifications, no count out, two men have to be eliminated by pin fall or submission in order for the third to win the match. Steamboat and Douglas go right for each other’s throats, just like Johnny Polo figured they would, and he sits back and watches with a grin on his face, figuring he will pick up the pin on whomever eliminates the other one.
It looks at first like Polo’s plan is going to work, as Douglas and Steamboat wear each other out with chops, punches and suplexes. But Polo goes a little far when he lies across the turnbuckle with his leg crossed and his arms behind his head. Steamboat and Douglas seem to call a momentary truth to teach Polo a lesson. After beating on Polo back and forth for several minutes, they turn their attention back to each other and the match settles into a total free for all.
The action spills out of the ring and onto the floor about 20 minutes in, as Polo and Douglas are fighting on the floor. Steamboat climbs the turnbuckles while this is going on and launches himself off the top, connecting with a cross body block on both men on the concrete floor below!!!! Steamboat rolls Douglas back in the ring as the crowd chants for the breathtaking move Steamboat just pulled out!!!! Steamboat gets a nearfall on Douglas, but the self proclaimed Franchise finds a way to kick out!!! Steamboat tries to whip Douglas into the ropes, but Douglas reverses and catches Steamboat with a Belly to Belly Suplex!!!! Douglas makes the pin, but Steamboat somehow kicks out before three!!! Douglas is pissed beyond measure and says that he is going to put Steamboat out once and for all, he tries to piledrive Steamboat, but the Dragon back drops Douglas instead, hits the ropes and surprises Douglas with a Crossbody!!!! Steamboat connects with full contact, makes the cover AND GETS THE THREE COUNT!!!! STEAMBOAT HAS PINNED SHANE DOUGLAS AND ELIMINATED HIM FROM THE THREE WAY DANCE!!!!
Douglas can’t believe it!!!! Polo slides into the ring, spins Steamboat around, kicks him in the gut and hits a DDT!!!! Polo makes a quick cover, but once again Steamboat shows he has more lives than a cat as he kicks out at 2!!! Shane Douglas rolls out of the ring still angry about being eliminated. Steamboat and Polo are battling it out in the ring and Steamboat rocks Polo with a vicious chop! Steamboat hits the deep arm drags on Polo and the Champion is reeling!! Steamboat looks about ready to put Polo away when Douglas slides back into the ring, chair in hand and BASHES STEAMBOAT IN THE HEAD WITH IT!!!!! Styles yells that there is no DQ in a Three Way Dance so Pee Wee Moore can’t do a damn thing about it!!!!! A dazed Polo grabs Steamboat and hits a DDT, even though everyone knows that it isn’t needed and makes the cover for the 1-2-3!!
WINNER:AND STILL INTERNATIONAL CHAMPION JOHNNY POLO
Polo staggers to his feet and throws his hand into the air celebrating. Douglas climbs into the ring, hands Polo the belt, pats him on the shoulder, AND THEN BLASTS HIM WITH THE STEEL CHAIR!!!!!!
Styles yells that once again Shane Douglas has cost Ricky Steamboat the International Title, and once again Douglas is leaving the ring with both Steamboat and Polo out cold!!!!! Styles kicks us to the back and Missy Hyatt who is with NWA World Champion Bret Hart.
Bret confirms to Missy that he is indeed wrestling tonight against Doctors orders, and that he has signed a waiver to compete. Bret says he owes it to his fans, his family and himself to be in the match tonight, and if Kevin Nash wants to be World Champion he is going to have to take the title from Bret. Bret says he isn’t just going to roll over and let Nash walk away with the belt and promises that Nash is in for the fight of his life right here tonight!!!!
RON SIMMONS AND JIM NEIDHARDT W/ JIMMY HART VS. SCOTT HALL AND HUNTER HEARST HELMSELY W/DDP
The Wolfpac is going to try and get themselves an early win tonight as they face Ron Simmons and The Anvil!!! Page and Jimmy Hart are jaw jacking as the bell rings. Hall and HHH play paper, rock, scissors to decide which man will start and HHH wins. Hunter acts like he is going to lock up with the Anvil, but then Hall clothesline the Anvil and HHH jumps out of the ring!!! Hall and Hunter double team Neidhardt, but the Anvil battles back and flattens both men with a double clothesline.
Neidhardt and Simmons toss Hunter around the ring, keeping him in lots of trouble, Hunter plays the chickenshit heel very well, begging off and trying to pull short cuts, but it doesn’t help as the Anvil and Simmons are rolling!!! Hunter gets caught in several near falls, only to have Scott Hall jump in the ring and save him each time. Page is on the floor going insane and arguing with Jimmy Hart.
Things look bleak for the Wolfpac when Hall catches Niedhardt in the back with a knee and HHH blasts The Anvil in the face with a running jumping knee to the face!! HHH makes the tag to Hall and now the shoe is on the other foot as Hall and Hunter take turns pounding on Neidhardt. Hall keeps taunting Simmons, causing Simmons to jump in the ring several times, only to be pushed out of the ring by referee Nick Patrick, and HHH and Hall to continue their double teams on The Anvil. After several minutes of punishment, Hall catches The Anvil in a sleeper hold, but The Anvil somehow twists his body and is able to drop Hall on his head with a belly to back suplex!!!!
Both men are trying to get to their corners to tag out, Hall notices that The Anvil is close to tagging Simmons and reverses his course to try and stop The Anvil, but Hall is too late as The Anvil makes the tag and a very angry and fired up Ron Simmons hits the ring and attacks Hall!!! Hunter jumps in the ring and he gets taken down, Page jumps on to the ring apron and Simmons slingshots him into the ring and then blasts Page with a clothesline. Simmons is fired up, he clotheslines Hunter out of the ring, then for some reason whips Page into the ropes and flattens him with a spinebuster. Simmons stands up and turns around only to be kicked in the gut by Hall who then just as quickly executes a Razor’s Edge!!!!! Hall quickly makes the cover, grabs a handful of tights for insurance and gets the 1-2-3 and the victory for the Wolfpac!!!!
WINNERS: SCOTT HALL AND HUNTER HEARST HELMSELY
Funk isn’t happy with the way the Wolfpac won that match, and wonders if that is a bad sign for Bret later tonight? Styles sends us to the back and Missy Hyatt who is with the man Bret will be facing for the title later tonight, Wolfpac leader Kevin Nash!
Nash applauds his partners in crime for their win and says that it is just a small preview of what is going to happen later tonight. Nash calls Bret a fool and says that Bret has assured himself a trip to the retirement home strapped to a hospital bed. Nash says he has no compassion what so ever, and he will destroy Bret tonight and take what is his, the NWA World Heavyweight Championship.
Back at ringside, Funk admits he doesn’t like Nash much, Styles agrees with him and then they talk about The Undertaker’s long war with Kevin Sullivan. A video is show starting with Sullivan throwing a Fireball at Taker at Starcade 93, to Taker putting out the Tazmaniac, to Taker and Sabu’s wars, Sid Vicious’ turn, and finally Sid throwing Taker off the stage.
UNDERTAKER w/PAUL BEARER VS. “PSYCHO” SID VICIOUS W/KEVIN SULLIVAN
As Undertaker music plays, Sid drops to his knees and begs the Undertaker to come to the ring. Smoke fills the arena, but The Undertaker is no where to be seen. Sid laughs with Sullivan, and Styles wonders if this means Taker really isn’t going to make it to the match tonight. Just then the lights go completely out, and when they come back on, THE UNDERTAKER, SPORTING A WHOLE NEW LOOK, IS STANDING IN THE RING BEHIND SID!!!!! Sid turns around and is shocked to see the Undertaker who starts to unload on Sid!!!!
Taker knocks Sid out of the ring, hits the ropes and launches himself out with a plancha!!! Taker rolls Sid back into the ring, Taker measures Sid……CHOKESLAM!!!!!! Taker waits as Sid slowly rises to his feet, and the Undertaker executes a Tombstone Piledriver!!! Taker covers 1-2-3!!!!! UNDERTAKER HAS DEFEATED SID VICIOUS IN UNDER FIVE MINUTES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! KEVIN SULLIVAN LOOKS LIKE HE HAS SEEN A GHOST AND TAKES OFF RUNNING DOWN THE AISLE TO GET AWAY FROM THE UNDERTAKER!!!!! STYLES SAYS NOTHING IS STANDING BETWEEN SULLIVAN AND TAKER NOW, AND WHEN THE UNDERTAKER GETS HIS HANDS ON SULLIVAN HE IS GOING TO SEND HIM STRAIGHT TO HELL!!!!!
WINNER: THE UNDERTAKER
Terry Funk: That was the damndest thing I ever saw Joey Styles and I have seen some things in this business!!! I have known Kevin Sullivan for a while and I have never seen him scared, until tonight. If I was Kevin I don’t think I’d ever stop running!!!
Joey Styles: I have to agree with you Terry, Sullivan has nothing else to throw in front of the Undertaker and I think the Undertaker may finally be able to get his hands on him!!!! Fans, up next is the big one, the one we have all be waiting for, the NWA World Heavyweight Championship Match!!!!
A video plays of the Nash-Hart feud and ends with Bret collapsing in the ring during his match with Scott Hall.
Bret walks over to the announce table to shake Terry Funk’s hand, and Funk tells Bret to go get Nash.
NWA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION BRET HART W/JIMMY HART VS. BIG DADDY COOL KEVIN NASH W/DIAMOND DALLAS PAGE
This is the one everyone has been waiting for, for all the marbles, Nash vs. Hart with the NWA World Title on the line. Styles makes sure to point out that Bret is out here against doctors orders and had to sign a waiver in order to compete.
Nash is like a shark to blood, he goes right for Bret as soon as the bell rings and just hammers Bret’s head. Throwing stiff forearms and punches he is trying to ring Bret’s bell early, but the Hitman isn’t backing down and is firing right back at Nash. Soon both men are standing in the middle of the ring throwing everything they have at each other and bringing the crowd to a fever pitch!!!! Bret gets the upper hand and starts to back Nash into the corner!!! Bret fires away kicks and punches at Nash and tries to whip him into the opposite corner, but Nash reverses the whip and Bret slams chest first into the corner!!!
Nash doesn’t waste time and goes right to work on Bret. Elbow drops, sidewalk slams, choking Bret with the middle rope, Nash pulls out every trick he can to try and put Bret away and though he gets a couple of near falls he can’t pull out the three count. At the 12 minute mark, Nash whips Bret back into the corner and tries to follow him in but Bret gets a boot up that catches Nash flush in the mush!!!! Bret then jumps to the second turnbuckle and brings Nash down to the mat with a bulldog!!!!!
Now it’s Bret’s turn and he knows just what to do, the Excellence of Execution shows why he has that nickname as he systematically works Nash over, knowing that if he can keep Nash on the mat he has a better chance, Bret attacks Nash’s knees, even pointing toward Terry Funk before locking in a spinning toe hold!!!! Nash is limping around the ring when Bret catches him with a running dropkick that sends Nash tumbling over the top rope to the floor!!!! Page runs over ot help Nash up and just as he does Bret flies through the ropes and hits both men with a suicide dive!!!!!!!!
Bret rolls Nash back into the ring, and follows him in, Bret drops an elbow from the middle rope, but when he stands up afterward, he collapses to the mat in an replay of his match with Hall!!!! Page screams at Nash to make a pin before the referee calls the match, Nash quickly cradles Bret,

BRET SOMEHOW KICKS OUT!!!!!!!!!!!
Nash can’t believe it, he drops an elbow on Bret and quickly covers him again but only gets another two count. Nash scoops Bret up and drops him across the top turnbuckle with snake eyes, but again only gets a two count!!! Nash beats the hell out of Bret for a good 5 minutes but he can’t get Bret to stay down!!! Funk says that’s why Bret has the strap, he has the heart of a Champion!!! Nash pulls his straps down and yells at Funk, THIS IS IT!!!! He starts to set Bret up for the Jack Knife Powerbomb!!!! Nash has Bret lifted in the seated position but can’t throw him down because Bret is unloading on him with lightning punches!!!! Bret is battering Nash like nobody’s business and Nash collapses backward with Bret riding down on Nash’s chest!!!!
Bret hits the ropes and Nash is trying to get to his feet, Bret throws a dropkick, but Nash yanks referee Nick Patrick in the way and Patrick catches the drop kick full force in the face!!!! Patrick isn’t moving!!!! Nash and Bret are battling in the ring, while outside the ring DDP has attacked Jimmy Hart from behind, Page has taken Hart’s megaphone and has jumped on the apron with it!!! He is telling Nash to whip Bret to him and he’ll clobber him with the megaphone. Funk takes his headset off saying he can’t let Page do this and grabs Page by the leg!!!! Page and Funk are arguing as Nash whips Bret toward Page, Page is so busy trying to kick Funk off he doesn’t notice Bret reversing the whip and Nash crashes into Page and takes the megaphone to the face!!!!!
Funk pulls Page off the apron and blast him with a punch that knocks Page out of his boots!! Meanwhile in the ring Bret rolls up Nash as referee Pee Wee Moore slides into the ring and makes the count 1-2-3!!!! Nash kicks out a split second after the three count but it doesn’t matter!!! Bret Hart has retained the NWA World Heavyweight Title!!!!!!
WINNER: AND STILL NWA WORLD CHAMPION BRET HART
Nash is beside himself and just about takes Bret’s head off with a Big Boot!!!!! Nash is about to Powerbomb Bret when Terry Funk throws a chair into the ring at Nash, then grabs another one and slides in!!!! Funk is threatening Nash with the chair!!!! Ron Simmons and Jim Neidhardt rush out to the ring to stand with Funk and Bret Hart, Nash backs off with Page and is soon joined in the aisle by Hall and Hunter, Nash yells back at the ring “THIS ISN’T OVER!!! THIS ISN’T OVER BY A LONGSHOT!!!!!” Styles says we are out of time and to tune into WNW to see what happens next!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I’m your host Joey Styles and I am joined by Johnny PoloJohnny Polo:INTERNATIONAL CHAMPION Johnny Polo, Joey, don’t forget that I TRIUMPHANTLY defend my title at the Great American Bash, not against one BUT TWO MEN!!!!Joey Styles: You sure didn’t look like a winner after the match, and if Shane Douglas hadn’t bashed Ricky Steamboat in the head with a chair, I doubt you would still have that title!Johnny Polo: Details, detailsJoey Styles: The Great American Bash is in the books fans, and as you know Johnny did indeed keep his International Title, Harlem Heat also retained against The Smoking Gunns, The Undertaker destroyed Sid Vicious in under 5 minutes and as you saw at the top of the program Bret Hart, wrestling against doctors orders, retained the NWA World Title against Kevin Nash, with perhaps a little bit of an assist from my broadcast partner that evening Terry Funk!!!Johnny Polo: PERHAPS AN ASSIST? ? If it wasn’t for Terry Funk there is no way Bret Hart would have kept that title, and tonight I am going to confront Terry Funk in Polo’s Pit and find out what he thought gave him the right to get involved in that match!Joey Styles: Also tonight, Scott Hall will be in action and we will talk with his Wolfpac stablemate and the man who came up short at the Bash, Kevin Nash. Kevin Sullivan will be here, that is unless he is still running away from the Undertaker, the self proclaimed “Franchise” Shane Douglas will be in action, we’ll talk with NWA World Heavyweight Champion Bret Hart and then in our main event, the NWA World Tag Team Titles will be on the line as Harlem Heat defends against the team it defeated for the titles just two short weeks ago, The Nasty Boys!!! Now let’s go to the ring for our opening match!!!JERRY LYNN AND LANCE STORM VS. THE KID AND NORMAN SMILEY Styles talks about the Time Limit Draw The Kid and Lynn had at the Bash, which was Lynn’s NWA debut. Styles talks again about the rivalry between The Kid and Lynn and how it has spanned the globe, and finally arrived here in the NWA at the Bash when Lynn made his NWA debut. Tonight they are teaming up with two more new comers to the NWA. Norman Smiley, also known as Black Magic is from the UK and has had an amazing career in the UK, Japan and in Mexico where he is a former CMLL World Champion, Lance Storm is a youngster who was actually trained by the Hart Family in the Dungeon in Calgary, Styles says that Bret has told him that Storm has all the potential in the world to be one of the best wrestlers ever, but he has a major attitude problem, Polo says he likes Storm already. Lynn and The Kid pick up where they left off on Sunday, throwing it all to the wind and taking flight. Smiley and Strom aren’t slouches and they show off what they got as well, with Storm in particular hitting a picture perfect diving elbow drop on the Kid when he and Lynn have The Kid isolated and trapped in the ring. After a back and forth war, The Kid and Lynn end up knocking each other out of the match when Lynn hits a springboard crossbody from the top rope to The Kid on the concrete floor bellow. In the ring Norman takes advantage of Storm’s inexperience and traps him in a Victory Roll for the win! WINNERS: THE KID AND NORMAN SMILEY Officials and medics are checking on Lynn and The Kid, Styles says that those two keep raising the bar and pretty soon it’s going to be so high no one is going to be able to touch it. Polo says that those two are nuts. Styles hopes to see them in another one on one match here soon. Styles says that WNW is the only place to get wrestling action like this, when we come back, Ricky Steamboat will be in action, and Joey will try and get a word with him about what happened at The Great American Bash! . . . COMMERCIAL BREAK . . . The Gambler is standing in the ring waiting as we come back from commercial break THE GAMBLER VS. RICKY STEAMBOAT Steamboat is in rare form and after hitting all his signature spots puts the Gambler away with a Crossbody from the top rope! WINNER: RICKY STEAMBOAT Steamboat then joins Joey Styles at ringside, Polo laughs and holds up the International Title, then waves at Steamboat. Steamboat tells Polo to sit down, he hasn’t forgotten him and will get back to him very soon. Steamboat says that this thing with he and Douglas has gone on long enough, and it has to end. Steamboat says it is consuming their carreers. Steamboat asks that next week Shane Douglas come out and talk to Steamboat about it, because if they don’t find some way to stop trying to take each other’s heads off than it will mean the end of both of them. Styles then kicks us to the back and Kevin Sullivan.  Sullivan is in his locker room, with the lights turned off, his hood pulled over his head and he is holding a candle. Sullivan says The Undertaker has eliminated The Tazmaniac, he has injured Sabu and he has run off Sycho Sid, but none of that matter, everyone else was a pawn in this game. Now the two Kings meet. Sullivan says that everyone is telling him to run away that the Undertaker will destroy him, but what people don’t realize is that Sullivan has now been backed into a corner, and a beast is the most dangerous when backed into the corner. Sullivan says he is in The Undertaker’s soul and in his heart. Sullivan says he is the master of Undertaker’s destiny. Sullivan has eaten the beetle nut and has spoken to Abbudah Dean in the purple haze through the mists of time. Sullivan tells the Undertaker listen close and listen clear, Abbudah Dean has told me that the third star has merged, the red sun will rise and Undertaker’s blood will be spilt. Sullivan blows out the candle and laugh maniacally in the dark!!!!! Back in the arena, Styles says that Sullivan is nuts, Polo says Undertaker may be a bit unnerving, but Sullivan is down right scary and you couldn’t pay him enough to get in the ring with Sullivan. Styles says that soon Undertaker and Kevin Sullivan are going to meet, and when they do Styles really believes all hell is going to break loose. Styles then tells us not to touch that dial, when we return Scott Hall will be in action and we will talk with the man who came up short at the Great American Bash, Kevin Nash! . . . COMMERCIAL BREAK . . . Jesse James Armstrong is standing in the ring when we return from break . . JESSE JAMES ARMSTRONG VS. SCOTT HALL WITH DDP AND KEVIN NASH Hall throws his toothpick at Armstrong before the bell. Armstrong actually gets some early offense in and has Hall bumping around a bit before Hall blocks a hiptoss and about takes Armstrong’s head off with a clothesline. Hall beats on Armstrong a bit before putting him away with the Razor’s Edge. WINNER: SCOTT HALL Nash climbs into the ring after the match and nails Armstrong with a big boot, before Jack Knifing Armstrong. Page grabs a microphone and tosses it to Nash. Nash says at the Great American Bash he had Bret Hart right where he wanted him, he was about to take the NWA World Title when Terry Funk had to stick his nose in where it didn’t belong. Nash says that he isn’t done with Bret and that he and Bret will see each other again soon, but not as soon as Funk is going to be seeing Nash. Nash says that later tonight he will confront Terry Funk when Funk appears on Polo’s Pit!!!!! . . . COMMERCIAL BREAK. . .    Missy asks Bret about how he is feeling, Bret says he is still hurting, but he is still standing. Bret says he heard what Nash had to say and he isn’t going to sit back and watch Nash get in a legend like Terry Funk’s face. If Nash interrupts Funk on Polo’s Pit than Bret promises he will be there too!!!! Johnny Polo is standing on the stage of Polo’s PiT. Johnny Polo Just look at how nice this is!! Much better than that second rate Pit that the dude in a dress is hosting, tonight I am going to ask the tough, hard hitting question you expect from a broadcast journalist of my stature!!!! My guest is a former NWA World Heavyweight Champion who stuck his nose where it didn’t belong at the Great American Bash, and cost my good friend Kevin Nash the World Title, as well as punching my personal long time buddy Diamond Dallas Page in the face WITH NO PROVOCATION!!!!! Terry Funk come on out here and explain your self!!Funk walks out in street clothes and waves to the fans. Johnny Polo: Yeah, yeah wave to these idiot fans. I want you to answer my question, what gave you the right to get involved last night with no provocation what so every? Huh? Just cause Big Brother is the boss, that makes you think you can do whatever you want to do, is that it??Terry Funk: If you would stop running your fool mouth, I’ll answer your damn question. I don’t know how Joey Styles sits there and listens to you for an hour every Wednesday Night!!!! You keep flapping them gums and talking, but you never say anything!!! Now as for last night, I saw that greasy, Dallas Page knock down my friend Jimmy Hart and I saw that he was about to cheat Bret Hart outta the World Title with Jimmy’s megaphone, and I wasn’t about to sit there and let Nash and Page steal something I wore, and that my brother wore with more pride that you’ll ever have in your life.Before Funk can say anything else he is interrupted: Kevin Nash and Diamond Dallas Page walk out to the set. Johnny Polo:Gentleman, YOU ARE MORE THAN WELCOME ON THE PIT!!!Kevin Nash:I am going to make sure to talk really slow and really loud so you can understand and hear me you old senile bastard. What I want from you right now, is for you to get down on your knees, beg my forgiveness for costing me my title, and then for you to go back to the back, into the parking lot, get in whatever old beat up pick up truck you drove here in, go back to what ever rock you crawled out from under and don’t ever return. You got that? And if you don’t, then I’m gonna send you outta here on a stretcher!!!. . . Bret Hart walks out to the set and stands beside Terry Funk!!!! Johnny Polo: Just who in the hell do you think you are??? Not just anyone can come out on my show!!!! We have a format!!!!Bret Hart:You know Nash, for a guy who got beat a few days ago, you sure talk big. Let me tell you something, and let me tell your buddy DDP something, the two of you combined don’t add up to be half the man or half the wrestler Terry Funk is! So don’t come out here insulting a legend and expect for me to sit back and stand for it. As a matter of fact, Nash you keep telling people you want me in the ring again, and you want to threaten Terry here? Well I’ll tell you what, how about right here, next week, you and Page take on me and Terry Funk!!!!Terry Funk: WHOA, WHOA, WHOA!!! Bret, I appreciate what you are doing my boy, but I’m retired. And I promised my brother that if I came out here to the NWA I wasn’t gonna start no trouble, and I wasn’t going to try getting myself in any matches. Now I am sorry, but I won’t be teaming with you son, cause I promised my brother, my wrasslin days are over. Funk shakes Bret’s hand, waves good bye to the crowd and leaves, with a stunned Bret Hart standing there as Polo, Nash and Page yuck it up!!! . . . COMMERCIAL BREAK. . . Missy Hyatt and her camera man are chasing after Terry Funk as we come back from break as Terry heads out the back door. Missy asks Terry where he is going, and Terry doesn’t say a word he just smiles at the camera, waves and leaves out the back door. Styles never in his life thought he would see Terry Funk walk away from a fight, Polo says Funk is nothing but a coward. Styles says Polo has no idea what he is talking about Terry Funk is one of the toughest men on the planet, but Terry also cares about his brother and he made a promise to Dory and Styles says Funk is the kind of man that will keep his promises, but Styles doesn’t expect Polo to understand that. Styles then goes over the history between The Nasty Boys and Harlem Heat, especially how it relates to Woman and how she played the Nasty Boys and Smoking Gunns against each other, allowing Harlem Heat to slip in and take the tag titles! NWA WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS HARLEM HEAT W/WOMAN VS. THE NASTY BOYS The two teams start to beating on each other as soon as the bell rings!!! It’s total out of control mayhem as all four men are fighting in the ring and around it!!!! Referee Nick Patrick finally is able to settle things down a bit, but the match is like a powderkeg, with an explosion simmering just below the surface. Several times all four men end up back in the ring, and after 12 minutes of wild and out of control brawling the four men find themselves fighting in the aisle way and Patrick has no choice but to count out both teams and rule this as a double count out draw!!! WINNERS: DOUBLE COUNT OUT DRAW That doesn’t stop these four from fighting though as they are hitting each other with anything that is not nailed down!!! This are getting completely out of control as Stevie Ray and Jerry Saggs are in the CROWD brawling with each other among the fans!!! Joey Styles quickly hypes next week’s card when Jerry Lynn and The Kid will meet one on one, The Undertaker will be in action, we will find out if Shane Douglas accepts Ricky Steamboat’s offer of a face to face meeting, and in our main event, JOHNNY POLO DEFENDS THE INTERNATIONAL TITLE AGAINST RON SIMMONS!!!! Polo yells WHAT? As Brian Knobbs throws Booker T onto the announce table and Styles signs off!!!!!! |

7/13/1994 • Jerry Lynn and The Kid wrestled to a double count out to kick off the program as they continued their rivalry in a can you top this battle. The finish saw Lynn lay The Kid out on top of the broadcast table, climb the ropes and hit The Kid with a splash from the top rope through the announce table!!! The spectacular move knocked both men out and took Styles off the air!! Both Lynn and The Kid had to be helped to the back after the match. • Joey Styles interviewed Ricky Steamboat who called Shane Douglas to the ring and asked Douglas to put aside their rivalry. Steamboat was not asking Douglas to be friends, he told Douglas if they kept down the same path they both would destroy their carreers. Douglas swore it would never be over with Steamboat, that as long as he and Steamboat were in wrestling, Douglas would do everything in his power to destroy Steamboat once and for all. Douglas swears he will haunt Steamboat’s steps till the day Steamboat dies. Steamboat then makes a challenge to Douglas. Next week, on this program, let’s settle it once and for all. Steamboat challenges Douglas to met him inside a Steel Cage where the loser will LEAVE THE NWA!!! Douglas takes no time accepting the match and says all he has ever wanted is to dispose of Steamboat and next week he finally gets to do it!!! • NWA World Tag Team Champions Harlem Heat defeated Stars N Stripes when Booker T pinned Bagwell after a Harlem Hangover. During the match it was announced that Bart Gunn had suffered a torn rotator cuff during the Gunn’s match at GAB vs. Harlem Heat and will be out of action 8-12 weeks. Also during the match, the Nasty Boys made their way down to ringside and started to mess with Woman. During the finish, Saggs grabbed Woman and stuck her head in Brian Knobbs Armpit, sending Woman to Pity City!!!! Harlem Heat and The Nasty’s brawled after the match, until Stars N Stripes helped clear Harlem Heat from the ring. Woman was enraged as Stevie Ray carried her to the back and The Nasty’s and Stars N Stripes high fived and celebrated in the ring. • The Wolfpac is interviewed backstage and they all take turns making fun of Terry Funk. Nash says he can’t wait to hear what Dory has to say later about why his baby brother is a chicken. Nash makes it very clear that he wants another shot at the World Title and he wants it soon. DDP makes cryptic comments about the main event between Simmons and Polo. • The Undertaker was supposed to wrestle Krusher Krushev, but the match never took place as Kevin Sullivan attacked Krushev in the aisle way with the Golden Spike and left him bloody. Sullivan then climbed into the ring and demanded Krushev’s place. Taker made his way out to the ring, ready to finally battle the man who has tormented him since Starcade. But instead of fighting, Sullivan lifted his head and out stretched his arms! Sullivan allowed Undertaker to chokeslam and Tombstone him with out fighting back. Undertaker pinned Sullivan, but you could see on his face that his was quite confused as to what was happening. • NWA World Champion Bret Hart calls out NWA Commissioner Dory Funk Jr. Bret demands to know why Terry Funk refused to fight, Dory says that when Terry decided to retire from wrestling again, Dory knew that his brother couldn’t handle being away from wrestling, so he offered him a place in the NWA with the condition that Terry stay true to his word and stay out of the ring. Bret says that with jackals like the Wolfpac running around, the NWA needs Terry at the front lines battling it out. Dory says that as long as he is in charge, Terry will have to keep to his promise and will not be able to get into the ring, Dory says that while he could very well help out in the battle with the Wolfpac, Terry would also not only destroy the NWA in the process, but Terry himself. Bret isn’t happy with this answer but Dory leaves refusing to answer anymore questions from the World Champion. • International Champion Johnny Polo defeated Ron Simmons to retain the International Title after Polo’s surprise manager for the evening, Diamond Dallas Page hit the Diamond Cutter on Simmons while Polo had referee Nick Patrick distracted while complaining about an injured leg and acting as if he couldn’t get up to continue the match. Polo and Page yucked it up outside of the ring after the match, that is until Simmons got to his feet and chased them back to the locker room. 7/20/1994 • Hakushi w/Sonny Onoo & Kurasawa makes his NWA debut and defeat Norman Smiley in an insane match where Hakushi soars all over the ring. At one point Kurasawa gets into the action when he lariats Smiley almost out of his shorts on the outside of the ring. Hakushi brings everyone to their feet breaking out the Flying Space Tiger Drop during the match. Hakushi gets the win after a Flying Headbutt off the top rope. • Undertaker and Paul Bearer are interviewed and have no idea why Sullivan did what he did last week, but they hope that it means that their war with Sullivan is finally over. Undertaker challenges both Johnny Polo and Bret Hart saying he now wants to concentrate on winning a title here in the NWA. • The Nasty Boys defeat Fidel Sierra and Ricky Santana in a squash, during the match a cut in interview with Harlem Heat and Woman is shown where Harlem Heat reveal that they will once again face The Nasty Boys with the Tag Titles on the line here next week, and Woman vows that Harlem Heat will get even with the Nasty Boys for what they did to her last week! • The Wolfpac is interviewed and Nash says Taker needs to get to the back of the line if he wants a World Title shot, a line that starts with Kevin Nash.Nash says that Bret is ducking him after barely surviving the title match at The Great American Bash. Nash demands answers as to when he will get another shot. Page laughs about what he did to Simmons last week and says it’s what Simmons gets for messing with The Wolfpac so much. • Scott Hall w/Diamond Dallas Page defeats Ice Train by DQ when Ron Simmons rushes into the ring to get his hands on Page. The Wolfpac gather in the aisle as Hunter and Nash come out to back up Hall, but NWA World Champion Bret Hart and Jim Neidhardt arrive to back up Simmons. The Wolfpac is about to rush the ring when Nash pulls them back and says “time and place” • Joey Styles interviews NWA World Champion Bret Hart, Jim Niedhardt and Ron Simmons in the ring. This thing with the Wolfpac isn’t going away even after Bret beat Nash at the GAB. Bret says he wishes that Terry Funk was in the ring with them to even out the odds a bit, but never the less, Bret says he the Anvil and Ron Simmons will stand against the Wolfpac no matter what. He also says that he will defend the title against Nash or against Undertaker, or anyone else for that matter, anytime, anyplace!!! • In a Loser Leaves the NWA Steel Cage Match, Ricky Steamboat defeats Shane Douglas in a bloody back and forth brawl that Steamboat wins after connecting with a body press off the top of the cage. Douglas looked shocked after the three count as he took the long walk up the aisle and out of the NWA! 7/27/1994 • The show opens with a Six Man match, as The Kid captains a team consisting of Norman Smiley and Billy Gunn against Jerry Lynn, Lance Storm and the debuting masked man The Blackheart. It’s an insane high flying war that Billy Gunn wins for his team with a Rocker Dropper on Lance Storm. Once again Jerry Lynn and The Kid take themselves out of the match up, this time when Jerry Lynn tries to powerbomb The Kid off the apron through a table he set up at ringside and The Kid turns it into a hurricanrana that sends both men crashing through the table and to the concrete floor. After the match all hell broke loose when Sabu returned to the NWA and laid everyone out with a Steel Chair and then posed in the ring, pointing to the sky. • Dory Funk Jr. announces that he and the Championship Comitee have been in meetings all week about who should face Bret Hart next for the NWA World Heavyweight Title, and they feel that 6 men have claims on the #1 contendership, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, The Undertaker, Ron Simmons, Ricky Steamboat and International Champion Johnny Polo Dory says it will be up to the fans to vote via 1-900 number, which is displayed on the screen (and hyped throughout the show) the proceeds from the 1-900 number will go to the Red Cross to aide refugees fleeing from Rwanda and the Genocide that is happening there. Dory says that next week, The Undertaker, Ricky Steamboat and Ron Simmons will team up to face Kevin Nash, Scott Hall and Johnny Polo in our main event, and after the main event he will announce who gets the title match! • Diamond Dallas Page and Scott Hall defeat Ron Simmons and Ice Train when Hall pins Ice Train with the Razor’s Edge. Kevin Nash provided commentary and was not at all happy about the “fix” of the 1-900 number saying the idiot fans barely know how to dial a phone. Nash says that no one deserves the shot more than him. Simmons gets Page trapped on the outside of the ring and is pounding on him and does not see Hall catch Train with the Razor’s Edge. After the match Simmons jumps on Hall, only to end up double teamed by Hall and Nash until Bret Hart and Jim Niedhardt once again make the save. • Styles interviews Hart, Niedhardt and Simmons in the ring. Hart has no problem with the 1-900 number and says he’ll face whomever wins, he wishes Simmons luck in the voting and shakes his hand. Just then the lights go out, when they come back on The Undertaker is standing in the ring. Taker doesn’t say a word and simply gets into a staredown with Bret as we go to commercial break • The Nasty Boys defeat Harlem Heat to once again win the NWA World Tag Team Titles when Woman’s interference backfires leading to Knobbs pinning Stevie Ray. The Nasty Boys take the titles to celebrate in the crowd as Woman seethes in the ring and the show closes!!!!! |
