Joey Styles is alone this week as his sometimes broadcast partner International Champion Johnny Polo prepares to face Shane Douglas tonight for the title!!! Also tonight, a rematch from Capitol Combat as Diamond Dallas Page faces Ron Simmons, NWA World Champion Bret Hart is in the building and has promised a huge surprise, all this plus The Undertaker will be in action and now let’s go to the ring, where NWA World Tag Team Champions The Nasty Boys will be in non title action!!!!

NON TITLE:
NWA WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS THE NASTY BOYS VS. CHRIS ADAMS AND DAVID TAYLOR

Taylor and Adams are two very skilled veterans and they go right at Knobbs and Saggs, making this a fight from the get go. Styles mentions that Woman is no where in sight this week, and perhaps she is really with the Smoking Gunns. The Brits take an early advantage and trap Knobbs in the ring, Taylor locks Knobbs in an abdominal stretch that Adams assists him with whenever referee Nick Patrick isn’t watching.


Saggs finally has enough and storms into the ring, he breaks the Abdominal Stretch by punching Taylor, then pulls Adams into the ring and bodyslams him. Before Saggs can do anymore damage, Nick Patrick forces him out of the ring, with his back turned Patrick doesn’t see the double team suplex by the Brits and Taylor faking the tag. Adams makes a cover, Patrick turns around to make the count, but Knobbs kicks out at two!!!



Adams and Taylor continue the punishment as Saggs beats on the turnbuckle getting the crowd behind Saggs. After a couple more two counts the Brits try for a double clothesline, Knobbs ducks it and then takes out both limey bastards with a clothesline of his own!!! Saggs is going insane as Knobbs slowly crawls to the corner, Adams tries to stop him but is too late as Knobbs finally reaches Saggs and makes the tag!!!

Saggs hits the ring and cleans house!!! Punches and bodyslams for both Brits!!! Saggs then clotheslines Adams out of the ring, kicks Adams in the gut, hits a pulling piledriver and makes the cover for the 1-2-3 and the victory!!!!!

WINNERS: NWA WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS THE NASTY BOYS

Joey Styles interviews The Nasty Boys at ringside, The Nasty Boys say as you can see Woman is no where to be seen, she is not with the Nasty Boys, so it is obvious she is with the Smoking Gunns, now why she attacked Bart at Capitol Combat they have no idea and they don’t care. Styles says next week the Smoking Gunns will be in action and we will hear their response.

INTERNATIONAL CHAMPION JOHNNY POLO VS. SHANE DOUGLAS

Douglas and Polo get in each others face and start jaw jacking. Douglas then pie faces Polo and the fight it on!!!! This isn’t as much of a match as it is a barroom brawl!!! Douglas and Polo are beating the piss out of each other as Steamboat and Styles talk about Douglas’ turn. Steamboat says he doesn’t care who wins this match, he will be getting another shot at the International Title. Douglas soon has the match going in his favor, but instead of pinning Polo, Douglas drops out of the ring,



TO TRASH TALK STEAMBOAT??!?!?!??!?




Why in the world would he do that???



Douglas is taking mess to Steamboat, The Dragon tells Douglas to get back in the ring and take care of business, Douglas picks up the glass of water on the table and THROWS IT IN STEAMBOAT’S FACE!!!!



Douglas then rolls back into the ring, Polo though has been playing opossum and quickly rolls Douglas up for a two count!!! Just as the two men get back to their feet, Steamboat jumps into the ring and attacks Douglas drawing the DQ!!!!!! Polo isn’t sure what just happened but doesn’t seem to care as he leaves the ring as Douglas and Steamboat brawl!!! Styles says he hopes we can get control of the situation as he sends us to a commercial break!

Joey Styles is standing in the ring and invites out his guest at this time NWA World Heavyweight Champion Bret “The Hitman” Hart!!!!



Bret says that he has healed up from the attack from Nash at Capitol Combat and looks forward to facing him again at The Great American Bash and cutting Nash down to size. Styles mentions that Bret will have to deal with the Wolfpac once again and how Page and Hunter change everything in a match. Bret says when he was sitting at home he realized that, he realized that he can’t fight The Wolfpac alone, that he needs help, he needs a FOUNDATION and that’s exactly what he has. Bret says that he has a big surprise for everyone and that surpise is JIMMY HART AND JIM “THE ANVIL” NIEIDHART!!!!


Jimmy Hart and The Anvil come down to ringside, Jimmy Hart is jumping around, Anvil and Bret high five then hug. Bret says that at The Great American Bash the sides are all evened up and Nash is going to have to beat him one on one, something Nash cannot do!!!!

Missy Hyatt is backstage with The Wolfpac. Kevin Nash says they aren’t worried in the least about the Hart Foundation reforming, it won’t make a difference at the Great American Bash, Nash vows to take the title from Bret at the Bash. Page then makes a comment to Ron Simmons that he hopes Simmons is ready for the beating of his life tonight!!!

THE UNDERTAKER W/PAUL BEARER VS. SKULL VON KRUSH

Styles mentions that the Undertaker will meet Sid Vicious one on one at the Great American Bash. Undertaker makes short work of Von Krush, pinning him after a chokeslam and tombstone piledriver.

DIAMOND DALLAS PAGE W/WOLFPAC VS. RON SIMMONS

Simmons spends the match fighting not one man but three. Everytime he has Page in a compromising situation, Nash or Hunter would jump on the ring apron to distract referee Nick Patrick. This kept on until Bret Hart, Jim Niedhardt and Jimmy Hart made their way down to ringside!!!! The Hart Foundation kept Nash and Hunter in check and that’s when Simmons started to run away with the match.


Nothing Page could throw at Simmons seemed to slow him down, Page tried to beg off but Simmons snapped, tossed Page in the corner and beat him senseless. Simmons hit a Spinebuster that rocked the ring, but as he made the cover, Hunter once again tried to pull stop the count, but The Hart Foundation pounced, while Nash, Hunter, Bret and The Anvil brawled at ringside, Simmons made the cover and got the three count!!!

WINNER: RON SIMMONS

All hell broke loose after that!!! The Hart Foundation and Ron Simmons began battling the Wolfpac!!!! The faces cleared the ring, and as the Wolfpac backed up the aisle, Bret Hart grabbed a microphone. Bret said that the Wolfpac doesn’t looks so tough when the odds are even do they??? Bret then challenged the Wolfpac to meet The Hart Foundation and Ron Simmons RIGHT HERE ON WNW NEXT WEEK!!!! Nash nods his head and yells that they are all dead men as the show goes off the air!!!

Joey Styles is joined by International Champion Johnny Polo and tonight promises to be another block buster show, the kind you expect for the NWA!!! Tonight, our big six man main event as the newly reunited Hart Foundation teams with Ron Simmons to face The Wolfpac!!!! Also here tonight, The Smoking Gunns will address the rumor that they have joined up with Woman, Sid Vicious will be in action and we will find out what happens next between Shane Douglas and Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat, but first, a huge surprise!!! The starts are coming to the NWA and tonight we have a massive debut, and it’s next!!!!

SCOTT HALL VS. JACKIE FULTON

Scott Hall makes his NWA debut!!! Fulton is an accomplished wrestler who has had amazing success across the Pacific in Japan, but tonight is not his night. Hall dominates Fulton and shows why he is considered one of the top talents in the sport today, pinning Fulton after a Razor’s Edge.

WINNER: SCOTT HALL

Styles is talking about how all the top talent is flocking to the NWA when he suddenly stops and screams that we have to go to the back, something has happened in the parking lot!!! The camera shifts to Missy Hyatt who looks like she just ran to the parking lot. It’s total chaos as medics seem to be working on someone and loading them onto a stretcher, the camera then shows a bloody Ron Simmons as the person being worked on a broken beer bottle lying near his head. Bret Hart and Jim Niedhardt then rush to the scene wanting to know what has happened. Missy says it is sheer bedlam back here, she has no idea what has happened, but one thing is for sure, someone has attacked Ron Simmons, and Simmons availability for the main event is surely in doubt!!!

Missy Hyatt is backstage with NWA World Champion Bret Hart, Jim “The Anvil” Niedhardt and Jimmy Hart. Ron Simmons has been taken to a nearby hospital and will not be able to compete in tonight’s Main Event, Bret says it doesn’t matter, the Hart Foundation will go at it two on three!!!! Just then Scott Hall appears on the screen. Hall says he just debuted here in the NWA, and one of the things that brought him here in unfinished business with Diamond Dallas Page. Hall says anyone who follows wrestling knows that he and Page have a history, and Hall would like to team with the Hart Foundation tonight. Bret thinks about it for a second and then agrees. Scott Hall will take Ron Simmons’ place in tonight’s Main Event!!!

SID VICIOUS W/KEVIN SULLIVAN VS. JESSE JAMES ARMSTRONG

Armstrong has ditched the tights he was wearing before, and debuts a new look here tonight, wearing a T Shirt and a pair of camo pants. The former Marine takes the fight right to Sid Vicious. Armstrong gets some good shots it, but Sid is allot bigger and stronger and tosses Armstrong across the ring. A Split Screen then appears and Paul Bearer and The Undertaker are on the other side of the screen.

Joey Styles asks the two about Sid’s attack on Taker at Capitol Combat and the Undertaker-Sid Vicious match at The Great American Bash. Bearer says that Sullivan made many a promise to Sid Vicious but Sullivan in the Lord of Lies and known of the promises Sullivan made to Sid will ever come to pass. Undertaker says that Sid Vicious will be another victim in the war between Sullivan and the Undertaker. Taker promises at the Great American Bash, Sid Vicious will REST IN PEACE! Back in the ring Sid hits a chokeslam, jestrues a cross blessing at Armstrong and then once again mocks Undertaker by using the Tombstone Piledriver and pinning Arrmstrong with Taker’s theatrical pin.

WINNER:SID VICIOUS

Styles says that Sid is playing with fire here, openly taunting the Undertaker and he may well regret it!!! Styles then sends us backstage to Missy Hyatt who is with the Wolfpac.


Missy point blank asks Nash, Page and Hunter if they had anything to do with the attack on Simmons and they all say no, and add that no one can prove that they did have anything to do with it. Page says he knows Hall well and they do go way back, and that they do have unfinished business as anyone who follows wrestling would know. Page promises that business will be finished tonight. Nash says that Bret gets a preview tonight of what to expect at the Great American Bash. Nash guarantees that tonight he will pin Bret Hart to win the match, just like he will at the GAB!!!!

Brief footage is shown of what happened last week during the Shane Douglas-Johnny Polo International Title match. Joey announces, much to the chagrin of Polo, that at the Great American Bash, The International Title will be on the line as Polo defends in a THREE WAY DANCE!!! Polo will face both Steamboat and Douglas in a match that the Championship Committee hopes will insure a real winner and no interference. Styles says next week we will get a reaction from Douglas and Steamboat, Polo gives his reaction now saying how unfair it is and how all the NWA is trying to do is take the title away from him!!!

THE KID VS. JUMPIN JOEY MAGGS

The Kid and Maggs shake hands before the match begins. The Kid puts on an awesome aerial display and puts Maggs down for the count after a moonsault press.

WINNER: THE KID

Joey Styles recaps the situation surrounding the NWA World Tag Team Titles, and Woman. Joey then pulls the split screen back out and on the other side is the Smoking Gunns, standing backstage. Joey asks point blank if the Smoking Gunns are now managed by Woman. Billy says NO, and he doesn’t know what kind of game The Nasty Boys and Woman are playing, but we’ll find out next week when the Gunns get another shot at the NWA World Tag Team Titles right here on WNW!!!!

Styles says not to go away because up next is the six man main event!!!

THE WOLFPAC(KEVIN NASH, DIAMOND DALLAS PAGE, HUNTER HEARST HELMSELY)

VS.

THE HART FOUNDATION (BRET HART AND JIM NIEDHARDT) AND SCOTT HALL W/JIMMY HART

The crowd is hyped up for this one. The heels take an early advantage and try and isolate The Anvil, but the big man is able to fight the three Wolfpac members off and after hitting a powerslam on Page, make the tag to Bret!


Bret and the Anvil turn this into a tag match for a bit, showing off all the old tandem offense that the Hart Foundation once used to lead them to the top of the wrestling world. They even hit the famous Hart Attack Clothesline, Bret tries to get the pin fall on Page off of that, but Hunter quickly breaks it all up.


The Anvil tackles Hunter out of the ring as Bret hits a Russian Leg Sweep on Page. Nash starts to come into the ring, but so does Hall!!! Nash and Hall stare each other down as Hart locks the sharpshooter on Page and

Hunter and The Anvil are still fighting outside the ring as Hall grabs Bret and hits the Razor’s Edge!!!! Nash then grabs Bret and hits a Jackknife Powerbomb!!!!!! Anvil is trying to get back in the ring but Page and Hunter are double teaming him on the outside!!! Nash makes the cover and pins Bret!!!!

WINNERS: THE WOLFPAC, NASH PINS BRET HART

Page and Hunter hit a double suplex on on Anvil on the outside of the ring. Hall jumps out of the ring and shoves Jimmy Hart down and snatches the NWA World Title from him!!! Hall hands the belt to Nash, the two hug!!! Nash holds the belt up in the air as the Wolfpac, along with the seemingly newest member Scott Hall pose in the ring as the show goes black!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Joey Styles and International Champion Johnny Polo open the show, tonight we will deal with the fall out of what happened last week when Scott Hall debuted, doublecrossed Bret Hart and joined up with the Wolfpac!! Also here tonight, we’ll have the first addition of POLO’S PIT?? Johnny says that if some has been on another program can have a “Pit” so can he and he is going to interview the two men he will be facing at the Great American Bash, Ricky Steamboat and Shane Douglas! Also tonight, the NWA World Tag Titles will be on the line when The Nasty Boys defend against The Smoking Gunns, and one has to wonder if Woman will get involved. Now let’s go to the ring for our opening match!!!

JESSE JAMES ARMSTRONG VS. JUMPIN JOEY MAGGS

Just as the match is about to begin NWA World Champion Bret Hart storms the ring and calls for a microphone. Hart tells Armstrong and Maggs nothing against them, but he wants Scott Hall and he wants him right now!!! Hart tells Armstrong and Maggs to go to the locker room, because Hart isn’t leaving until Hall comes out here and faces him!!! Styles says we have to take a break, and try and sort all this out.

Hall and Page are standing in the aisle as we come back from break. Page says if Bret wants Hall, he’s got him!!! Hall and Page rush the ring!!! Bret backdrops Page as Page rushes him, and then starts fighting Hall, referee Pee Wee Moore calls for the bell and we have an impromptu match!!!!

NON TITLE: NWA WORLD CHAMPION BRET HART W/JIMMY HART VS. SCOTT HALL W/DDP

Hart and Hall are trading punches in the middle of the ring, throwing it all at each other!!!!! Hart gets the better end of the deal as he backs Hall into the ropes, Hart tries to whip Hall off , but Hall reverses, Hall swings with a clothesline, but Bret ducks it and comes back with a dropkick that sends Hall flying!!! Hall gets up with the ropes to his back and Hart clotheslines him over the top out of the ring!!!! Hall and Page are regrouping on the outside as Bret hits the ropes and goes flying with a sucicide dive through the ropes that takes Page and Hall out!!!!!

Hart rolls back into the ring and starts posing with his arms out to the crowd, but he suddenly slows down, grabs him head and collapses to the mat!!!!! Referee Pee Wee Moore doesn’t know what to do!!! Jimmy Hart slides into the ring and checks on Bret and yells at Moore to call for the bell and get some help. Moore rings the bell and calls for Medics to come from the back. Jim Neidhardt runs into the ring as well, and stands guard to make sure Hall and Page stay at bay.

WINNER: NO CONTEST REFEREE STOPPAGE

Confused as to what just happened, Hall and Page leave the ringside area as medics check on Bret and Joey sends us to a commercial break, unsure as to what is going on!!!

Joey says that Bret was taken to the back for observation, Missy is trying to get a word with Bret, The Anvil or Jimmy Hart but has been unable to do so. Styles promises to keep us abreast of the situation as it develops. He then sends us to the ring when International Champion Johnny Polo will conduct Polo’s Pit.



Polo says he won’t be wearing a dress for his Pit, for those wondering. Polo says that tonight for the first Polo’s Pit, he is going to interview the two men who will have the misfortune of LOSING to him at The Great American Bash!!! First he introduces Shane Douglas

Then Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat is introduced.

Steamboat and Douglas never take their eyes off each other, staring holes in one another. Polo asks that both men show restraint, that they will both get their chances to get beaten up in a couple of weeks at the Great American Bash by him. Polo asks his guests questions, but each time they start to answer he pulls the microphone away and insults them. After a few times of these interruptions Steamboat has enough and blasts Polo with a chop that sends him right into a Belly to Belly Suplex by Shane Douglas. Douglas and Steamboat then get right in each others face!!!! Referees and undercard wrestlers rush out to make sure nothing happens and we go to a break as the two men stare each other down and Polo rolls out of the ring and flops onto the floor!!!!

Diamond Dallas Page is backstage with Missy Hyatt and Scott Hall, Page and Hall get a good laugh about Bret getting stretchered out of the building and they say they are going to see if “The Big Boss” Kevin Nash will give them a bonus for what happened. They are having a good belly laugh as we go back out to the arena.

THE UNDERTAKER W/PAUL BEARER VS. DAVID SIERRA

Total and complete squash, Taker takes the win after a Tombstone.

WINNER: UNDERTAKER

Joey talks to Taker and Bearer at ringside and Bearer says that Sid Vicious is going to regret what he has done and his mocking the Undertaker. Taker says that at the GAB Sid Vicious will not only get burned by the fire he is playing with, Taker says Sid will be turned into a towering inferno!!!!

Johnny Polo has finally returned to the broadcast booth and he is not happy about what happened in his Pit. He says he is going to teach Steamboat and Douglas some respect at the GAB!!!

Styles goes over the issues between The Nasty Boys and the Smoking Gunns, and the manipulations of Woman. Styles says both teams swear that they have not signed with her, yet she has been telling people privately that she has signed a team. Styles says tonight we may very well get an answer as to who Woman has in her pocket.

NWA WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS THE NASTY BOYS VS. THE SMOKING GUNNS

Woman does not come out to the ring with either team, both still insist the the other had sold out. The four men start shoving each other and a brawl quickly breaks out!!! The crowd is evenly split here, no one really has the crowd advantage. Momentium swings back and forth several times before Woman finally makes an appearance. She stands in the middle of the aisle watching, and waiting. The Nasty Boys start to get the upperhand, Knobbs hits a running powerslam on Bart and tags out to Saggs who hits a flying elbow drop!!!! Saggs goes to make the cover!!!

AND WOMAN JUMPS ON THE APRON AND STOPS THE COUNT!!!! WOMAN IS ARGUING WITH REFEREE NICK PATRICK!!!!

Saggs doesn’t understand why the referee isn’t counting, he gets up and sees Woman on the apron!!! Saggs walks over and starts yelling at Woman to get down. Woman drops off the apron, and Saggs turns around, RIGHT INTO A CLOTHESLINE FROM BART GUNN!!!!

Bart makes the tag to Billy as Saggs tags out to Knobbs, the two meet in the middle of the ring and start brawling, they are trading heavy punches back and forth, neither willing to go down!!! Billy finally starts to get the upper hand with a series of rapid punches, he then kicks Knobbs in the gut and HITS THE ROCKER DROPPER!!!! Billy goes for the pin, Bart runs in and clotheslines Saggs out of the ring before he can interfere. Saggs and Bart are fighting on the floor!!! Billy makes the cover!!!


AND WOMAN JUMPS ON THE APRON AGAIN!!!!

Woman has Patrick tied up again. Bart and Saggs are still fighting on the floor, Billy gets off of Knobbs and wants to know what is going on. Woman drops off the apron just as Knobbs rises to his feet, clubs Billy from behind and hits a belly to back suplex with a bridge!!!! Patrick makes the count!!

WOMAN PULLS NICK PATRICK OUT OF THE RING!!!!!!

Patrick has had enough and orders Woman to the locker room!!! Woman argues with Patrick for several minutes before stomping her feet and finally leaving. Meanwhile, Bart has whipped Saggs into the guardrail and Saggs has flipped over it into the first row. Bart jumps in the ring and attacks Knobbs from behind. The Gunns hit a double vertical suplex, and the Bart grabs Knobbs, Billy climbs the ropes and they hit the Sidewinder!!!! Billy makes the cover as Patrick slides back into the ring to make the count!!

SAGGS IS BACK IN THE RING WITH A STEEL CHAIR AND HE JUST CRACKED IT ACROSS BILLY’S BACK!!!! BART RUNS TO GET SAGGS AND GETS KNOCKED FLUSH IN THE MUSH WITH THE CHAIR AS WELL!!!!!! SAGGS IS STANDING SOLO IN THE MIDDLE OF THE RING WITH THE CHAIR AS REFEREE NICK PATRICK CALLS FOR THE BELL AND DQ’S THE NASTY BOYS!!!!!!

WINNERS: THE SMOKING GUNNS VIA DQ

Woman has appeared back in the aisle and nods her head in approval!! Saggs is pointing at Woman and yelling at here and Styles doesn’t know what in the hell is going on!!!! As he and Polo try to make heads or tails of this, Styles claims that someone is yelling in his ear that they have to go back to Missy Hyatt.

Back in the locker room Missy Hyatt is chasing after Jim Neidhardt who has just returned from the hospital where he went with Bret Hart and The Anvil is tossing everything out of his way in search of the Wolfpac. Finally The Anvil talks to Missy and says that Page wants to laugh about things, well he is going to give Page something to laugh about right here next week when they meet one on one in the ring!!!!!! Show closes with The Anvil’s maniac laugh echoing.

Joey Styles and International Champion Johnny Polo welcome everyone to the show! Tonight we will talk with NWA World Champion Bret Hart’s doctor about the condition of the World Champion. Hunter Hearst Helmsely will be in action, in today’s Polo’s Pit Polo will talk with the NWA World Tag Team Champions The Nasty Boys about what happened here last week in their match with The Smoking Gunns and finally, our main event will feature Jim “The Anvil” Niedhardt against Diamond Dallas Page!!!!. But first, let’s go to the ring for our big time opening match as Ricky Steamboat teams with The Undertaker to take on Shane Doulgas and Sid Vicious!!!!

SHANE DOUGLAS AND SID VICIOUS W/KEVIN SULLIVAN

A wild match that mainly see the opponents at the GAB squaring off against each other. Douglas and Steamboat do the bulk of the match, when Taker and Sid do get involved it leads to them fighting out of the ring and into the aisle. After several minutes of trading holds, Steamboat catches Douglas with a Tiger Suplex and bridge for the pinfall over his former partner!!!!!

Back in the aisle, Taker and Sid have fought up the ramp, Sullivan has now gotten involved and attacks the Undertaker as well!!! Taker is trying to fight off both men, he catches Sullivan and is about to chokeslam Sullivan OFF THE FLIPPING STAGE!!!! Sid rallies to his managers aid, and hits Taker with a big boot that SENDS THE UNDERTAKER FLYING OFF THE STAGE AND THROUGH TABLES BELOW!!!!!! Sid laughs like a madman looking down on the broken and battered Undertaker!!!!


THAT IS UNTIL THE FRIGGIN UNDERTAKER SITS UP!!!!!!!


Sid’s laugh vanishes and his eyes go wide with fear and shock, he grabs Sullivan by the arm and the two high tail it out of there as Undertaker staggers to his feet and staggers after them!!!!!!

Joey Styles talks about NWA World Champion Bret Hart passing out last week during his match with Scott Hall. Styles cuts to a split screen with Bret’s doctor who Bret has been with all week. Bret’s Doctor claims that Bret’s body has taken such severe punishment since coming to the NWA that it is breaking down. The battles with Ted Dibiase, the brutal I QUIT Match at Slamboree, the wars with Kevin Nash that have lead to repeated powerbombs have done severe and significant damage to Bret, especially to Bret’s brain and spine. The doctor estimates that Bret must have had dozens of concussions in the past 6 months. The doctor says his advice to Bret is to retire now, or risk permanent injury to his spine and perhaps brain damage.


Styles then sends us backstage to Missy Hyatt who is with Jim “The Anvil” Neidhardt and Jimmy Hart. The Anvil and Jimmy Hart are concerned for Bret, both have talked to him and refuse to repeat what he has said, but anyone who knows Bret knows he isn’t just going to quit, though Jimmy Hart says this is very serious and Bret needs to think about the future. Talk then turns to tonight’s Main Event match between The Anvil and Diamond Dallas Page. Missy asks The Anvil if he is worried about being out there alone. Before The Anvil can answer Ron Simmons walks up. Simmons says The Anvil won’t be alone and he’s got The Anvil’s back!!!!

HUNTER HEARST HELMSELY W/DDP VS. BOBBY WALKER

Page joins Polo and Styles at the broadcast booth, and they have a grand time making fun of Bret Hart. In the ring, Hunter dominates the early going, but Walker starts to make a comeback and has Hunter rocking with dropkicks and hiptosses, he hits a leaping splash on Hunter in the corner, but when he whips Hunter into the opposite corner and goes to the well again, he comes up dry as Hunter moves and Walker cracks his head on the turnbuckle! Walker staggers out, kick-wham-pedigree!!!! Hunter makes the cover and gets the easy 1-2-3

Knobbs and Saggs join Polo and talk about last week’s match with The Smoking Gunns Saggs claims that Woman and The Gunns were playing with everyone’s heads and that was obvious to him when Woman kept the referee from counting 3 when Knobbs had Billy pinned with a belly to back suplex. Polo brings up that Woman distracted the referee when Billy had Knobbs pinned and that distracted Billy long enough for Knobbs to hit the belly to back suplex. Knobbs says he is sure Woman was trying to slip something to Billy. Polo then reveals that he has a surprise for everyone and introduces WOMAN!!!


Woman comes out and Knobbs and Saggs want to know where her team is, where is the Smoking Gunns? Woman asks if the Nasty Boys really want to see her team, the Nasty Boys say they do, Woman asks if they want to see her team enough to put the tag titles on the line right here tonight??? Right Now? Knobbs and Saggs both agree, and Woman introduces her team

Styles is shocked, as are The Nasty Boys, you can tell by the look on their faces this is not what they were expecting. Harlem Heat hits the ring and looks ready to go. Referee Pee Wee Moore slides into the ring and calls for the bell.

The Nasty Boys put up a hell of a fight, but you can see that all the matches on TV and around the country defending the tag titles against The Smoking Gunns this past month has worn them down, while Harlem Heat has been sitting at home, training and preparing for this match!!!

Harlem Heat takes control early and isolates Brian Knobbs. Saggs keeps trying to get back into the ring, but it keeps giving the Heat a chance to double team Knobbs. Saggs finally has enough pushes past the referee and tries to fight off both men. Stevie Ray and Saggs end up falling out of the ring as they fight, Knobbs uses the distraction to try and take over on Booker, after rocking Booker with several punches Knobbs tries for the running powerslam, but Booker slips out the back door, kicks Knobbs in the got and drops him with a bicycle kick!!!

Everyone is still buzzing over what just happened with Woman and Harlem Heat walking in and taking the World Tag Team Titles. Styles says that The Smoking Gunns can’t be happy, they are on a promotional tour this week and are not in the building, and they were supposed to face The Nasty Boys at The Great American Bash for the tag titles, but for a second time another team has walked in and taken the titles before they could. Styles then sets the table for the main event, going over all that has happened between The Wolfpac, Bret Hart, Jim Neidhardt and Ron Simmons. Styles says this is a powderkeg and could blow at any time.

Kevin Nash is conspicuous by his absence. As most of Page’s matches go, this one is full of stalling, Page cheating and tossing Anvil out of the ring to Hall and Helmsely to work The Anvil over, though Ron Simmons chases Hall and Helmsely away a couple of times. The match turns into an out of control brawl as Hall and Simmons start really brawling on the outside. While referee Nick Patrick is distracted by the brawl and tries to break it up, HHH snatches the megaphone away from Jimmy Hart, tosses it to Page who decks The Anvil with it and makes the cover. Patrick turns around and makes the three count giving the win to DDP!!!!!

Joey Styles wonders if there is any stopping the Wolfpac. He and Polo close the show saying next week we will talk with everyone involved in the Great American Bash!!! Don’t miss it!!!
