Big Bubba Rogers defeated Jeff Hardy with a Bubba Slam @3:14

Bubba then talks to Joey Styles after the match and says that what he did to Simmons on WNW was just a taste of what waits at Slamboree, Bubba promises Simmons will be serving HARD TIME.



Chris Adams and David Taylor defeated Steve and Jesse James Armstrong when Adams pinned Steve after a Superkick @11:55 to advance in the Tag Team Tournament, they will now face the winner of the match later today to decide who will face the Bruise Brothers at Slamboree.


Buddy Landel with Col Robert Parker defeated Matt Hardy with a Figure Four Leglock@2:10


The Smoking Gunns with Paul Bearer defeated Kevin Sullivan and The Tazmaniac with Sabu when Billy pinned The Tazmaniac after catching him with an Ura-nage. The match was total an utter chaos as The Patriot and Tommy Dreamer also made their way down to ringside to keep Sabu in check. In the end everyone was brawling. Sabu laid out Dreamer and Patriot with a chair shot and was threatening Paul Bearer when the lights went out, and Undertaker replaced Bearer!!!! Taker took the chair from Sabu and waffled him with it!!! Taker stood over Sabu and did the cut throat motion as the show went off the air and Styles sold WNW where we find out Why Shane Douglas did what he did, and Taker faces Sabu one on one and next weeks World Wide where The Smoking Gunns will once again face Chris Adams and David Taylor, only this time the winners will face the Bruise Brothers for the tag titles at Slamboree!!!!!!

International Champion Johnny Polo opens the show in the ring and asks Shane Douglas to join him. Shane explains that last week he turned on Ricky Steamboat because Steamboat had long abandoned him. Douglas said Steamboat has been left by the times and that Douglas knew if he stuck around him he would get left behind as well. Douglas then christens himself “THE FRANCHISE” . Polo applauds what Douglas did and says he hears Steamboat may not be able to be at Slamboree. Douglas smiles and tells Polo not to get cocky, because if Steamboat can’t be at Slamboree, then Douglas is demanding the spot. Polo looks disturbed by this. Douglas tells Polo he’ll see him at Slamboree and Polo better be ready to be FRANCHISED!!!!


Recap of last week and Bret Hart injuring his leg and losing by count out to HHH.

PJ Walker defeats Ted Dibiase by disqualification when Dibiase uses the ring post to lock a figure four onto Walker!!!!! Referee Nick Patrick dq’s Dibiase but Dibiase doesn’t let go before Walker’s leg makes a sick snapping sound. Walker has to be stretchered out as Styles talks to Dibiase at ringside. Dibiase says that he saw what happened to Bret last week, and he hopes Bret is in the back watching, because at the I Quit match, there is no DQ and when he traps Bret in that Figure Four, Bret and his bum knee will have to say I Quit!!!!!


Hunter Hearst Helmsely with James J Dillon defeats Scotty Riggs with the double underhook piledriver. Styles says after last weeks count out victory the undefeated HHH has begun to really get noticed.


Missy Hyatt is backstage with Kevin Nash and Diamond Dallas Page, Page says why wait until Slamboree, they challenge Sid to find himself a partner and meet Nash and Page here next week!! Page says he can’t wait to get Sid in the ring.


Jesse James Armstrong defeats Buddy Landell with Col Parker pinning him after a pump handle slam. During the match Col Robert Parker distracted referee Pee Wee Moore to try and allow Landel to use a pair of brass knux, but Tommy Rich appeared for the first time since the Studd Stable turned on him and punched Landel into a Pump Handle Slam by Armstrong. Pee Wee Moore turned around to see Armstrong make the cover, but did not witness Rich’s interference.


Big Bubba Rogers defeats Surge with a Big Bubba Slam, after the match Ron Simmons attacks Rogers from behind!!! In a mirror image of what happened last week, Simmons grabs a garbage can, lays out Rogers and then Spinebusters him onto the Garbage Can!!!!!

Missy Hyatt is backstage with Sid Vicious who says if he can’t find a partner he’ll face Nash and Page by himself next week!!!!! The Kid walks up and tells Sid that he would be honored to be Sid’s partner next week if Sid will have him. Sid shakes The Kid’s hand and says that next week they will destroy Page and Nash!!!!


Joey Styles has an in ring interview with [B[NWA World Heavyweight Champion Bret Hart

[/B] about his knee and the I Quit Match at Slamboree. Bret says he has sprained his ACL and that the injury is pretty severe, but that isn’t going to stop him from facing Dibiase at the I Quit Match at Slamboree. Bret says he heard Dibiase say last week that Bret would have to kill him in order to make him say I Quit. Bret says that the same is true for him. Bret vows not to say I Quit even if Dibiase breaks every bone in his body. Bret swears that at Slamboree he will make Dibiase quit and he will walk away with the title still around his waist.


Sabu with Kevin Sullivan and The Tazmaniac wrestles to a no contest with The Undertaker with Paul Bearer, Tommy Dreamer and The Patriot All six wrestlers end up brawling at the end of the match which draws the No Contest. Sabu ends up with the Golden Spike from Sullivan and busts the Undertaker open with it. Blood blinds the Undertaker who goes insane and chokeslams everyone he can get his hands on including referee Bill Alfonso, Tommy Dreamer, The Tazmaniac, Sabu and even PAUL BEARER!!!!! A crazed Undertaker is left standing in the ring as the show goes off the air.

Sid Vicious and The Kid defeat The Executioners when The Kid pins Pain after Vicious powerbombs Pain and the Kid hits a moonsault press. Styles says that Vicious and The Kid look ready for Wednesday Night!

Recap of the insane ending of WNW with Taker, Sabu et all. Styles announces that at Slamboree, The Undertaker will team with the Patriot and Tommy Dreamer to face Kevin Sullivan, The Tazmaniac and Sabu.

International Champion Johnny Polo defeats Steve Armstrong with a DDT. During the match Styles says that Dory will make a decision about the International Title match at Slamboree and whether or not Ricky Steamboat will be cleared to wrestle or if someone else will take his place.

Missy Hyatt is backstage with Shane Douglas who says that Steamboat should just retire since he doesn’t have what it takes to succeed in today’s wrestling world. Douglas says that he expects to be given the title match at Slamboree.

In the Finals of the Tag Team Tournament The Smoking Gunns defeated Chris Adams and Dave Taylor in a match that went through 2 commercial breaks and went 25 minutes long after a ref bump, Adams and Taylor tried to double team Bart. Taylor held Bart’s arms back and Adams tried to Superkick him with a loaded boot, but Bart moved at the last second and Taylor caught the kick!!!! Billy then grabbed Adams and dropped him with a Ura-nage. Bart and Billy hit the sidewinder on Taylor to get the win and earn the right to face the Bruise Brothers at Slamboree!!!!!!!!!!!

Joey Styles and International Champion Johnny Polo are seated at ringside while RUN DMC’S DOWN WITH THE KING plays and Kevin Nash and Diamond Dallas Page are walking to the ring. Styles says they are starting off fast a furious tonight as we are just a few days away from Slamboree!!!! Sid Vicious’s music hits next and out comes Sid and his partner The Kid!!!

Sid Vicious and The Kid defeat Kevin Nash and Diamond Dallas Page. The Kid and Sid started off strong, but once The Kid was isolated things got dicey. Nash just abused the Kid and could have won the match at anytime, but Page wanted to add insult to injury and refused to allow referee Nick Patrick to count 3. Things looked bleak heading into the first commercial break. Finally, Sid had enough of watching The Kid get taken advantage of and plowed into the ring, after tossing Page aside he began to battle with Nash. Sid and Nash ended up fighting in the aisle as Page watched. Page was so caught up in watching Nash and Sid he was easily rolled up by the Kid who got the 1-2-3, much to Page’s surprise!!!


After a Commercial Break DDP is backstage with Missy Hyatt and is beyond pissed, Page demands that he has a match with that runt The Kid at Slamboree so he can teach him a lesson!!!! Nash says Sid got lucky tonight, but at Slamboree all the luck is going to get Jackknifed!!!

NWA World Tag Team Champions The Bruise Brothers with Col Robert Parker defeat Omega when Eli pins Surge after a double boot to the face. During the match we have a split screen interview with The Smoking Gunns where they talk about winning the tag tournament on World Wide and facing the Bruise Brothers this Sunday at Slamboree.

Shane Douglas defeats Terry Taylor with a Belly to Belly Suplex. Douglas then walks to ringside and grabs a microphone, he says that Ricky Steamboat isn’t coming back, he is done, finished and says that he wants Dory Funk Jr. to come out here right now and give him the shot at Johnny Polo’s International Title. Douglas doesn’t get to finish his thoughts as RICKY STEAMBOAT’S MUSIC HITS!!!!! Douglas has a look of shock on his face as Steamboat walks out in street clothes. Douglas drops the microphone and motions for Steamboat to come on. Steamboat sprints to the ring and slides in. Douglas tries to put the boots to Steamboat, but Steamboat fights back and wears Douglas out with chops before nailing him with a big one that sends Douglas tumbling over the top rope!!! Johnny Polo then leaves his broadcast position to try and attack Steamboat from behind!!! Polo tosses Steamboat out of the ring, but Steamboat skins the cat, comes back in and dropkicks Polo out of the ring. Polo and Douglas are trying to regroup on the floor as Steamboat climbs the top rope and launches himself off the top to the floor with a crossbody block on both men!!!!! Steamboat drops to his knees and poses in the aisle as Douglas and Polo are knocked out!!!!!

The Patriot and Tommy Dreamer defeat The Executioners when Dreamer pins Agony after a DDT. During the match The Tazmaniac, Sabu and Kevin Sullivan appear at ringside to scout their opponents. Sullivan leaves Sabu and Taz in the aisle and joins the commentary table, taking the place left by Johnny Polo. Sullivan spends the match talking about how The Undertaker’s final days are upon him. After the match Sullivan leaves the table and signals to his guys to surround the ring. They are about to jump in and attack Dreamer and The Patriot when the lights go out!!!! When they come back on the Undertaker is standing in the ring beside Patriot and Dreamer!!!! Sullivan signals for Sabu and Taz to back off, and the three head to the back. Sullivan yelling “YOUR TIME HAS COME” to the Undertaker

Missy Hyatt is backstage with Hunter Hearst Helmsely who is not happy. He defeated Bret Hart last week by countout, defeated the World Heavyweight Champion, but he isn’t on the card tonight and he isn’t booked at Slamboree. He tells his manager JJ Dillon that he better take care of this and then walks away leaving JJ looking worried.


Bob Backlund defeats Big Bubba Rogers by DQ when Rogers blatantly attacks Backlund with his nightstick!! Ron Simmons rushes out of the back and runs Rogers off. Simmons gets the microphone and says in a few short days at Slamboree, Rogers won’t have anywhere to run or anywhere to hide!!!!

Joey Styles is in the middle of the ring and invites out first the challenger for the title match at Slamboree, Ted Dibiase once Dibaise is in the ring, Styles invites out NWA World Heavyweight Champion Bret Hart. Styles starts by backtracking and reviewing the feud between Dibiase and Hart. All the way back to the very first WNW when Dibiase and Hart had an in ring altercation. From the Bret and Dibiase have been tied together, battling all the way for the NWA World Title. Styles says this weekend at Slamboree, it could be the last time they ever meet for the title as this is Dibiase’s last shot. He then opens the floor and Bret says while he may not like Dibiase he does respect all that he has done in wrestling and he knows how hard it is going to be to make Dibiase say I quit, but Bret says that he is going to do it. Dibiase says Bret has played right into Dibiase’s hands. Dibiase says that it is his destiny to win the NWA World Title, and that it is his life long goal. This is his last shot at the title, this is his last shot to fulfill his life long ambition to fulfill his fathers dying wish, and he’ll be damned if he is going to say I QUIT. Dibiase says he and Bret are allot alike, both had fathers who were wrestlers, both grew up in the business, but Dibiase’s father died in the ring, died because he wouldn’t quit because he wanted to be the World Heavyweight Champion, now Dibiase has picked up that torch for his father and he has been carrying it. Dibiase says that he won’t say I quit, nothing Bret does can make him say I quit, but Dibiase knows that he can make Bret say I quit, because Dibiase knows Bret has a bum leg!!!! Dibiase asks Bret how he is going to be able to hold on when Dibiase locks the figure four around the post on, or how he is going to be able to handle a Texas Cloverleaf? Dibiase says that not only is he not injured, but he has nothing to lose. He is backed against a wall. Bret loses the title Bret knows he can get a rematch, Dibiase has no more rematches, this is it, this is the last shot at immortality and Dibiase says he is going to snatch it, no matter what he has to do. Bret simply tells Dibiase “At Slamboree Dibiase, you better take your best shot because I will, and I promise when it’s all over the world will know who is THE BEST THERE IS, THE BEST THERE WAS AND THE BEST THERE EVER WILL BE!!!!” Dibiase and Bret are nose to nose as the show goes black.



Slamboree will be up at some point tonight or in the morning. World Wide would have been simply a recap sell show, full of past clips building up the Slamboree matches.

Joey Styles welcomes everyone to the Chi Town Rumble!!!! Joey says he will be flying solo tonight because Johnny Polo is preparing to be quickly eliminated from the Rumble later tonight. Styles runs down tonight’s matches, Kevin Sullivan will meet the Patriot in one on one action and Styles is wondering if The Undertaker will make an appearance after what Sullivan did to Paul Bearer this past Wednesday Night.


Also tonight, Ron Simmons gets his hands on Mike Rotunda and with Big Bubba Rogers still suspended we should finally see these two battle it out without outside interference. The NWA World Tag Team Titles will be on the line in a match where if the Champions Ricky Steamboat and Shane Douglas get disqualified or counted out they will lose the titles to Col Robert Parker’s Bruise Brothers!!!!!


Plus, the NWA World Heavyweight Title will be up for grabs as Bret Hart meet the challenge of the man that has not only pinned him twice in singles matches, but also pinned him this past Wednesday Night in a tag team match, Ted Dibiase!!!!! Styles says this promises to be one for the history books!!!!

Rotunda comes to the ring first with briefcase firmly in hand. Then LL Cool J’s Mama Said Knock you Out starts to blast through the arena and out storms Ron Simmons!!! Simmons slides into the ring and Rotunda tries to brain him with the briefcase!!!! Simmons kicks Rotunda in the gut and Rotunda drops the case!! Simmons fires off several hard punches backing Rotunda into the ropes, Simmons whips Rotunda off and blasts him with a Spinebuster RIGHT ON TOP OF ROTUNDA’S BRIEFCASE!!!!!!!! Simmons makes the cover and this is all over in less than a minute!!!!!!

WINNER: RON SIMMONS

Simmons leaves the ring, but Rotunda isn’t moving!!! Referees, trainers, EMTs come rushing down to check on Rotunda. They end up bring out a stretcher for him. Styles sends us to the back while this is going on to hear from The Patriot who is with Missy Hyatt.

The Patriot says in a few short moments he and Kevin Sullivan will mix it up in the ring. Patriot says that he came to the NWA to help his friend Tatanka get rid of Sullivan once and for all, but Tatanka was taken down by Sullivan at Starcade by the Golden Spike. Patriot says that he isn’t fighting alone and promises a surprise for Suliivan tonight!!!!

Back in the arena, Rotunda has been stretchered out and Styles says that he has been informed that because of this Rotudna will no longer be able to take part in the Chi Town Rumble, but the NWA is working on finding a replacement for him as we speak.

Sullivan and his brood are out first and as they stalk the ring, The Patriot’s music plays. The Patriot stops in the middle of the aisle and waits as PAUL BEARER comes out to stand in the Patriot’s corner!!! Sullivan laughs at Bearer who keeps yelling at Sullivan. The bell rings and the fight is on!!! Neither man holds anything back as they rush right at each other and start to brawl!!! The Patriot’s strength takes center stage early as he starts launching Sullivan around the ring!!!! Sullivan eats several bodyslams and running clotheslines before escaping the ring to regroup. Styles says the Patriot is too smart to follow Sullivan out of the ring with Sabu and The Tazmaniac waiting to pounce.

Sullivan slides back into the ring and the battle starts anew. The Patriot is really dominating Sullivan and that isn’t more evident than when he Press Slams Sullivan with ease. Sabu jumps on the apron and distracts referee Pee Wee Moore, allowing Sullivan the chance to LOW BLOW The Patriot!!!! Patriot crumbles to the mat like a sack of potatoes!!! Sullivan now takes over, he whips The Patriot hard into the corner and The Patriot crashes to the mat with his back arched in pain. Sullivan just tortures The Patriot with kicks, stomps and submission holds. Styles sends us to a commercial break as Sullivan continues the beating!!

Back from the break, Sullivan hits the double stomp on The Patriot’s stomach and makes the cover, but only gets a two count. Sullivan argues with the Moore about a slow count. Sullivan then ties The Patriot to the Tree of Woe!!!! Sullivan hits the running knee into Patriots gut and then tries for another cover, but once again only gets a two count. Sullivan is not happy at all about this and starts to really lay the punches in on The Patriot.

Sullivan pulls The Patriot to his feet by his mask and hits a pulling piledriver!!!! Sullivan covers but Patriot kicks out at the last possible moment!!!!! Sullivan pulls Patriot up and whips him into the corner. Sullivan walks over to the Patriot and slaps him in the face several times yelling at the Patriot to give it up!!! Each slap seems to awaken the Patriot more and more, to drive him more and more until The Patriot is no selling the slaps!!! Sullivan fires off some chops, punches and kicks but The Patriot is no selling ALL of it!!!

Sullivan tries for another punch, but Patriot blocks it and rocks Sullivan with a punch of his own!!!!! Patriot then begins to unload, backing Sullivan against the ropes!!!! Patriot tries to whip Sullivan off, but Sullivan reverses it!!! Sullivan tries for a clothesline but Patriot ducks it, Sullivan tries for a back elbow, but Patriot ducks it and then catches Sullivan with a flying football tackle!!!!! Sullivan is wiped out!!!!! Patriot doesn’t let up backing Sullivan into a corner, climbing the turnbuckle and raining ten punches down on Sullivan’s head!!!!! Patriot then pulls Sullivan out of the corner and hits a delay vertical suplex!!!!! Patriot floats over and makes the lateral press but only gets a two count!!!


Sullivan tries to fight back now and the two men end up in a full fledged brawl!!! That is until Patriot catches one of Sullivan’s wild punches and turns it into the Full Nelson Slam!!!! The Patriot makes the cover but only gets a two count as Sabu hits a slingshot legdrop on Patriot to break up the pin and cause the disqualification!!!!! The Patriot tries to fight off Sabu, but the Tazmaniac quickly jumps into the ring and attacks as well. As the three men lay into the Patriot the lights suddenly go out!!!! When they come back on THE UNDERTAKER is standing in the middle of the ring!!!!!!!


Tazmainac runs at Taker first and gets plastered with a Clothesline, Sabu rushes him gets caught in a goozle and chokeslammed!!!! Taker makes a move toward Sullivan, but Sullivan bails out of the ring quckily and back pedals as fast as he can to the locker room.

WINNER: THE PATRIOT BY DQ

Styles says that this is far from over between Sullivan and The Undertaker. Styles sends us to a break and says when we return Missy Hyatt will speak with the challengers for the World Tag Team Titles!!!

Missy Hyatt is backstage with Col Robert Parker and his Bruise Brothers. Parker says he isn’t worried about the ref outside of the ring because his Bruise Brothers are fine southern gentleman and have never broken a rule in their lives, unlike Shane Douglas who doesn’t know how to do anything but cheat!!!! Parker says tonight the Bruise Brothers will bring the tag titles to the Stud Stable!!!!



Styles then recaps what has gone on between The Bruise Brothers and the Tag Champions, showing footage of Douglas taking the Brass Knux away from Parker and using them to win the titles, Douglas using a chair to fight off the Bruise Brothers and get his team DQed on WNW a few weeks back and then Steamboat singles match where the Bruise Brothers switched in and out until Steamboat was defeated and Douglas watched from the aisle. Styles says if Steamboat and Douglas are not on the same page tonight, there is no way they will be able to walk out with the titles!

The Bruise Brothers try and use their same strategy of attacking an opponent before they are ready by jumping the Champions as the Champs climb through the ropes. The Bruise Brothers are pounding on them, and try and whip them into the ropes, but Douglas and Steamboat pull the reverse and then they backdrop the Bruise Brothers then both hit clotheslines sending the Bruise Brothers over the top and out of the ring!!!!! Douglas and Steamboat celebrate in the ring as Col Parker regroups his very angry men on the outside as Styles sends us to a commercial break!!!

Back from the break and the match is wide open!!! Douglas and Steamboat are giving as good as they get and Pee Wee Moore is doing a great job keeping the Bruise Brothers from making illegal switches. The brawl soon settles down as Steamboat catches one of the Bruise Brothers, we’ll say Eli, with a series of deep arm drags and then locks an arm bar on him on the mat. Steamboat works the arm for several minutes until Eil is able to break free. Eli tries to overpower Steamboat, but The Dragon finds a way to slip behind Eli and lock in a double chicken wing!!!!!! Eli is screaming in pain and looks about to give up the ghost when Jacob jumps into the ring and nails Steamboat in the back of the head with a big boot!!!! Douglas then jumps into the ring and once again all hell breaks loose!!!!!! Douglas takes Jacob out of the ring with a clothesline that sends them both over. Steamboat catches Eli with a dropkick that sends Eli flying out of the ring. Steamboat then climbs the turnbuckles and sails off crashing onto Douglas, The Bruise Brothers AND referee Pee Wee Moore on the arena floor!!!!!!!!

The crowd is going wild as Steamboat wiped everyone out!!!! Styles shows several replays of the move. Steamboat pulls one of The Bruise Brothers to their feet and rolls them back into the ring. Alfonso is yelling at Douglas to get back to his corner and doesn’t see Parker waffle Steamboat in the back with his cane and break the cane in half!!!!! Parker throws the splintered cane under the ring as Steamboat lies on the outside in pain. Alfonso sees Steamboat down and starts to make his count. Styles shows a replay of Steamboat’s death defying dive and then Parker breaking the cane across Steamboat’s back. Styles says that he hopes Dory Funk Jr. orders an immediate rematch between these two teams.

Missy Hyatt is backstage with the man who will challenge Bret Hart for the NWA World Title in just a few short moments, Ted Dibiase. Dibiase talks about his career and what all he has done. Dibiase says the only thing he hasn’t done is win the World Title. Dibiase says he has shown he can beat Bret, that he is the better wrester and the better man and after tonight he will show he is the better Champion!!

Back in the arena Joey recaps again Dibiase’s pin fall victories over Bret. Styles says that many feel Bret cannot beat Dibiase and tonight the title will change hands.

Bret hits an inverted atomic drop and tries for a cover but only gets two, Bret attempts to hip toss Dibiase, but Dibiase blocks it and after several moments traps Bret in a backslide that only gets a two count. Bret and Dibiase then spend the next five minutes reversing pin attempts both getting several two counts and coming oh so close to taking the win, all the comes to an end when Dibiase catches Hart with the Oklahoma Stampede!!! Styles is shocked when Polo actually jumps in the ring and attacks Billy Gunn!!! Gunn and Polo start to battle as Shane Douglas and HHH continue their war. HHH tries a standing Belly to Belly Suplex on Douglas, but Douglas blocks it and hits a belly to belly release overhead suplex on HHH!!!! Polo is trying to throw Billy over the top rope as the crowd starts to count down!!!!

Polo finally dumps Billy Gunn but walks right into a spinbuster by Simmons!!!!! Simmons whips Polo hard into the corner, follows him in with a clothesline then climbs the ropes and rains 10 punches down on Polo’s head as the crowd counts along! Douglas and HHH are beating the piss out of each other in the other corner. HHH tries to dump Douglas, but can’t seem to get him over the top rope. Douglas fights HHH off, whips him into the rope, but drops his head to early for a backdrop and eats a knee from HHH!!! Simmons throws Polo over the top rope, but Polo lands on the apron and rolls back into the ring. The crowd starts to count for the final entrant!!!!

IT’S FORMER NWA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION RICKY STEAMBOAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


(23:00- HHH, Shane Douglas, Johnny Polo, Ron Simmons, Ricky Steamboat, )

Steamboat slowly limps to the ring, favoring his injured back. Styles says Steamboat probably shouldn’t even be coming out here!!! Styles says one of these five men will walk away with the International Championship. Polo sees the injured Steamboat and quickly jumps him, Polo starts pounding on Steamboat, Douglas whips HHH into Simmons for a Spinebuster and tries to attack Polo from behind, but when Douglas tries to spin Polo around, Polo is ready!!! Polo kicks Douglas in the gut and DDT’s him!!!!!! Polo launches Douglas over the top rope, Steamboat is still favoring him back and is unable to help his partner.

Polo then helps HHH with Ron Simmons. Simmons fights back, but even he can’t beat two men who are as hungry as HHH and Polo are!!! After several mintues of fighting, Polo and HHH toss Simmons out together. The two look like they make a pact to toss Steamboat and then fight each other. They shake hands, but HHH turns on Polo, kicking him in the gut and dropping him with the double underhook piledriver!!!!! HHH then turns his attention to Steamboat.


After working Steamboat over for several minutes he throws Steamboat over the top. HHH turns around to celebrate and doesn’t see Steamboat skinning the cat!!! Steamboat brings himself back in the ring, and waits for HHH to turn around!!! Steamboat unloads on HHH with a series of chops, backing him into the ropes. Steamboat then whips Hunter off and hits a deep armdrag followed by a dropkick that sends HHH stumbling backward into the corner!!!! Steamboat starts to unload with chops on Hunter in the corner!!!! Hunter starts fighting back with chops of his own!!!

Polo starts to come to, sees what is happening and drops back to the mat!!!!! Styles says that Polo is playing opossum letting HHH and Steamboat beat the hell out of each other!!!! HHH catches Steamboat with a flying knee and tries to throw him over again, but Steamboat once again tries to skin the cat!!! This time Hunter sees it and starts to bite Steamboat’s fingers to get him to let go of the ropes, Steamboat instead flips himself back into the ring and catches HHH with a head scissors that Steamboat uses to then bring Hunter up over the top rope and eliminates him!!!!!!


Steamboat tries to skin the cat back into the ring but Polo has jumped to his feet and runs at Steamboat. As Steamboat flips back into the ring Polo catches him unaware with a clothesline that sends Steamboat over the top rope and eliminates him!!!!!!!

JOHNNY POLO HAS WON THE CHI TOWN RUMBLE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Styles cannot believe it. The show goes off the air with Dory Funk Jr. handing Polo the International Title!!!!

Joey Styles and the International Champion Johnny Polo open the show, they go over the results of SLAMBOREE 94. Polo says he took everything Steamboat could throw at him and still walked away with the title, Styles says he thinks that Polo is going to have to deal with not only Steamboat again, but probably Shane Douglas as well. As a matter of fact, Polo will have to face Ricky Steamboat again, right here next week on WNW!!! Bret Hart is still the NWA World Champion after a grueling match with Ted Dibiase. Bret is not here tonight and is taking the week off to recover from the vicious match. Styles then announces that Bret will be defending his title again in just 4 short weeks live here on MTV, May 22nd, CAPITOL COMBAT!!! Styles says Bret will face Kevin Nash, who defeated Sid Vicious with allot of help from DDP at Slamboree. We also have new NWA World Tag Team Champions as The Nasty Boys debuted and won the titles from the Bruise Brothers, they will be here tonight in action!!


The Kid finally ended the long winning streak of Hunter Hearst Helmsely. Helmsely actually had this match well in hand, but botched interference from JJ Dillion gave the Kid the opening he needed to pin HHH and get the win!!! After the match, Hunter went crazy. He screamed at JJ and then took the microphone and publicly fired him!!!! JJ tried to talk Hunter out of it, but Hunter kicked Dillon in the gut and hit the Pedigree!!!! HHH left his manager lying in the ring!!!!


Missy Hyatt interviewed The Smoking Gunns backstage about what happened at Slamboree. The Gunns confirm that they were attacked by Chris Adams and Dave Taylor. Billy says that they have demanded a match with the British Invaders and Dory has promised to get them one as soon as he can. Bart says he saw that the Nasty Boys ended up taking their match and beating the Bruise Brothers. Bart says that those belts belong to the Smoking Gunns and tell the Nasty Boys that they still have a contract for a shot at those belts and the Nasty Boys better be damn ready to defend them!!!


NWA World Tag Team Champions The Nasty Boys with Tommy Rich defeated The Executioners when Knobbs hit the running powerslam on Agony and Saggs dropped an Elbow from the top rope on him. After the match Joey Styles attempted to interview the new Champions, right when they were about to start talking about their title win, Col Robert Parker showed up. Parker carried a piece of paper in his hand and said that it was from his attorneys demanding that the NWA Tag Titles be returned to the Bruise Brothers. Parker says when he made his challenge he never said it was for the tag titles!!!! Styles says that its true and that an injunction has been filed. The Nasty Boys are ordered to turn the Tag Title belts over to Dory Funk Jr. until the matter is resolved.


Ice Train makes a successful NWA debut and upsets Buddy Landel with Col Robert Parker when Tommy Rich distracts Landel by stealing Landel’s robe, thus allowing Ice Train to roll Landel up when Landel was about to lock in the figure four leg lock.


Joey Styles is in the ring and invites out the man who will face Bret Hart at Capitol Combat Kevin Nash and his manager Diamond Dallas Page. Nash asks where Bret Hart is? Nash says he had a match at Slamboree too and he is here, ready to go. Nash says that at Capitol Combat he is going to win the NWA Title and their isn’t a damn thing anyone can do about it!!!! Suddenly Sid Vicious appears in the aisle. Sid says the only reason Nash won at Slamboree was because of DDP, Sid says he is sick of DDP and next week he’ll get his chance to end DDP when they face off one on one right here on WNW!!!!


The Undertaker with Paul Bearer defeats The Tazmaniac with Kevin Sullivan after the match the Undertaker Tombstones The Tazmaniac through the ringside table!!!! Undertaker puts Taz in a body bag and carries him out of the arena as Sullivan watches in utter shock!!

Joey Styles opens the show in the middle of the ring and invites out NWA World Heavyweight Champion Bret Hart. Bret is still walking with a limp and has a large bandage on his head. Bret talks about the brutality that was the I Quit Match and says that Ted Dibiase has nothing to be ashamed of, he gave him the toughest fight of Bret’s entire career. When talk turns to the match with Kevin Nash at Capitol Combat, DDP comes out. DDP says Bret is weak and that Nash is going to make short work of him on May 22nd to win the title. Bret says that DDP should be thinking about his own skin, because he knows later tonight Sid Vicious is going to take him apart. Page tells Bret that won’t happen, and Page invites Bret out to watch. Bret says since Joey doesn’t have Johnny Polo helping him with commentary tonight, Bret would be happy to take his place!!!


International Champion Johnny Polo defeats Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat by count out. Steamboat was attacked before the match by Shane Douglas and a steel chair before he could ever get into the ring. Douglas was ordered to the back, and Steamboat was offered the chance to reschedule the match but demanded that he continue on with it. Polo took full advantage of the injured Dragon and was able to steal the victory by count out.


Missy Hyatt is backstage with Shane Douglas. Douglas says that Polo owes him now because he made sure Polo kept the title, Douglas demands that Polo face him one on one for the International Title or else Douglas will just take it from him in the locker room or an alley somewhere!!!


The Smoking Gunns defeat Chris Adams and David Taylor when Billy pins Adams after a Superplex! After the match, The Gunns want to know what the status of the Tag Titles are, Styles says that Dory Funk Jr. says that a ruling will be made sometime this week and we will have news on it next week.


Missy is backstage with Hunter Hearst Helmsely. Hunter he glad he is finally rid of JJ, he then goes on to challenge The Kid to face him here next week. Hunter says that if it wasn’t for Dillon’s incompetence, Hunter would still be undefeated and he is going to prove that next week!


The Patriot defeats Buddy Landel with Col Robert Parker when Tommy Rich comes down to ringside wearing the robe he stole last week from Landel, with rips and tears in it. Landel is distracted by this and The Patriot capitalizes by hitting a Full Nelson Slam for the win


Ron Simmons defeats Fidel Sierra with a Spinebuster


Missy Hyatt is backstage with The Undertaker and Paul Bearer. Undertaker says we have seen the last of The Tazmaniac and says Sabu is next, Undertaker challenges Sabu to a match at Capitol Combat!!!!


Diamond Dallas Page defeats Sid Vicious with help from Kevin Nash. During the match Page piefaced Bret Hart at the commentary table. Bret got so pissed he jumped up and tried to get into the ring to get Page, referee Nick Patrick stopped him and wouldn’t allow him to enter the ring. While Patrick was dealing with Bret, Nash who had accompinded DDP to the ring, slid into the ring, spun Sid around and hit him with the Jack Knife!!!!!! After Patrick made the three count Bret jumped in and started fighting with Page, soon Nash was back in the ring and Sid was back to his feet and all four men were brawling. Nash and page bailed, and Sid pushes Bret yelling at him for distracting the referee!!! Bret and Sid then start to brawl as the show goes off the air!!!!
