<b>VTR: LAST WEEK ON 'BIG LEAGUE' TV...</b>

<u><i>JIP- Sgt. Slaughter versus Nikolai Volkoff...</i></u>

This 'brawl and stall' technique continued until the referee got tired of Adnan's shenanigans and ejected him from the match. Adnan refused to leave and had the Sheik at ringside sticking up for him until Pittman came around the ringside area, pulled Adnan from the ring apron and began carrying him to the back over his shoulder! From there the match continued with Slaughter taking the fight to both Volkoff and an interfering Sheik. The referee was then accidentally knocked out of action for a few moments as he got squashed in the corner after a double reversal quickly sent things going back his way. Slaughter then was able to lock the Cobra Clutch on Volkoff, but there was still not ref. It was at this time that the Iron Sheik took his pointy boot, 'loaded it' and then removed it from his foot and clocked the Sarge in the back of the head with it! Slaughter was out cold and Volkoff was on top for the three count, having slid the boot back out toe Sheik, by the time referee had come around...

RESULT: VOLKOFF BY PINFALL (8:49)

Following the contest, the Sheik hastily got his boot back on and then quickly escorted a groggy Volkoff away from the ringside area as Sgt. Craig Pittman rushed back out to check on Slaughter and attempt to tell the referee what had taken place. Pittman's cries fell on deaf ears, however, as the referee had not seen what had taken place. Pittman seemed really upset about the proceedings, but it appeared as though there was nothing he could do...

<b>Jay Sulli & Dennis Coralluzzo </b> welcome the fans to another episode of 'Big League' TV as Major League Wrestling takes to the air for another week of great action. Sulli and Coralluzzo then ran down what would be on today's program, including <b>Sgt. Craig Pittman</b> in singles action. From there it's one of the most exciting tag teams in all of professional wrestling a the Mexican <b>Silver Kings</b> will be here... And... In today's 'Main Event' we will be seeing a huge tag team encounter as 'the Superfly' and his son, <b>Jimmy Snuka Jr. & Sr.</b> do battle with none other than the notorious duo of <b>the Muracos: Don & Don Jr.</b>...

From there, the program went to break with Sulli and Coralluzzo letting everyone know that before the hour was up they would also be hearing from <b>the Snukas</b> and <b>the Muracos</b> prior to their big match. Sulli and Coralluzzo also said that they would 'relive' what transpired here last week between <b>Honky Tonk Man</b> and <b>the Renegade Warrior</b>. Major League Wrestling then went to break with Coralluzzo saying that a lot was going on 'behind the scenes' here in Major League Wrestling and that he hoped to have a 'big announcement', possibly as soon as next week, but that he couldn't legally talk about things right now as nothing had been finalized, but that this deal would definitely be something good for MLW...

Major League Wrestling returned with Sulli and Coralluzzo setting the table for today's opening contest when they pause and notice that Sgt. Craig Pittman has made it into the ring with a steel folding chair. Pittman goes over to his scheduled opponent, Ray Lloyd and says something to him off microphone. Lloyd nods his head that he understands and then STEPS OUT OF THE RING! Pittman then opens up the chair, places it in the middle of the ring and takes himself a seat... Folks, it looks like we're gonna' have ourselves a good old fashioned SIT IT! After several uneasy moments, Jay Sulli finally went and got a microphone and approached Sgt. Pittman...

I did the best I could to keep things evened out, but it was three on two and once I took Adnan out that still left the Iron Sheik to do the damage... The way I see it... I MESSED THIS UP... So I'm gonna' be the one to MAKE IT RIGHT... AND I'M NOT MOVING FROM THIS RING UNTIL I'VE DONE SO! Sheiky... So far as I can see... You and I... WE GOT A PROBLEM... Now I know you like to brag about being in the Olympics ages ago, but what some of you may not know is that I proudly took on the VERY BEST when I was in the armed forces and I think... No... I KNOW... I can take anything you can dish out, AND THEN SOME! So get on out here! Let's see what you can do when you have to FIGHT SOMEONE LIKE A MAN!”

<u> <b>MATCH #1: SGT. CRAIG PITTMAN vs. <del>RAY LLOYD</del> THE IRON SHEIK</b> </u>
This wasn't much of a scientific match up as Adnan distracted Pittman from the get go and allowed the Sheik to come up from behind and begin choking him out with the Iranian flag. The Sheik got Pittman down and then began chopping, kicking and stomping away at this downed opponent before quickly going for the Camel Clutch. Pittman was too close to the ropes, however, and the hold was broken, but the Sheik still had control. The Iron Sheik then got a near fall following a side salto suplex, but Pittman still had plenty of steam and kicked out. The Sheik continued kicking and stomping away on the downed Pittman, but Sgt. Craig began fighting his way to his feet and pretty soon Pittman was the one taking the fight to the Sheik! This caused a worried General Adnan to wave towards the back and then hop up on the ring apron to distract the referee, but Pittman used the distraction to whip the Sheik right into Adnan, which knocked the General off of the apron. The Sheik then staggered backwards right into a rear waste lock by Pittman... Pittman pops the hips... AND DROPS THE SHEIK RIGHT ON THE BACK OF HIS HEAD WITH A BIG BELLY TO BACK SUPLEX! Here come's Nikolai Volkoff out of the back! Pittman with the cover... 1........2.......Volkoff's not going to make it!.........3!!!! Craig Pittman has just pinned the Iron Sheik!

RESULT: PITTMAN BY PINFALL (3:07)

The Renegade then reached over, grabbed a playing card and raised it high to the heavens before bounding off the ropes and nailing the Gamble with a big flying shoulder tackle to set up the fall. The Renegade then laid the card across the defeated Gambler's chest... It was the 'Suicide King'...

<i>Major League Wrestling then went to break with some 'exclusive footage' in which the MLW cameras had been conducting a backstage interview when they found a 'shell shocked' <b>Honky Tonk Man</b> sitting in a stair well, looking down at his hands and the remains of his shattered guitar and repeating the same thing over and over again...</i></u>

<i> Major League Wrestling then returned with Sulli & Coralluzzo setting the table for the upcoming match featuring the Silver Kings and then mentioning that more matches had been signed between the Silver Kings and 'the Orient Express' in the 'near future'. The announcers then tossed to some pretaped comments from <b>Akio Sato & Kato</b> in which Sato did all of the talking, even though Kato looked like he wanted to say something, but kept getting 'cut off' by his partner. The bossy Sato's basic message was that the Silver Kings' moves may be 'flashy' but they 'lacked substance' and that would result in a victory for him and 'any partner he choose to have'...</i>

<u><b>MATCH #2: THE SILVER KINGS vs. THE RAVISHING BODIES: CHIC DONOVAN & RIP ROGERS</b></u>
The Silver Kings made their way out first and bounced around the ring and tested out the ring ropes as they waited for their opponents. After a few moments, Rod Stewart's 'Do Ya' Think I'm Sexy' blasted out over the public address system as Rip Rogers and Chic Donovan made their way out in matching tights and sequined vests as they posed and preened for the fans in the aisle way, which prompted Sulli to remark... “Hey guys... 1985 called and the Fabulous Ones want their gimmick back!” Once action finally got underway, things turned into a pretty entertaining, though mostly one sided match as the Silver Kings seemed to stay one step ahead of their veteran opponents, who ended making fools of themselves more than once with some bad timing and running into one another when the quicker Kings were able to get out of the way. The end came when #1 pinned a standing Rogers with a moonsault from the top rope...

RESULT: THE SILVER KINGS BY PINFALL (12:33)

I just really don't feel I should be responsible for my own flesh and blood... Well let me tell you this... There is NO EXCUSE for you Superfly... NO EXCUSE... I guess some people just aren't fit to be parents... Some people just can't 'share the bond' that Don Jr. and I have... Included were, Muraco's original confrontation with Jimmy Jr., Snuka pinning Muraco with Jr's help, the introduction of 'Don Jr.' and 'the Meatball Sandwich Incident'...

<u><b>MATCH #3: 'SUPERFLY' JIMMY SNUKA & JIMMY JR. vs. THE MURACOS: DON & DON JR.</b></u>
This contest was all Snukas early as they battered Don and 'Don Jr.' from 'pillar to post' as they tried to gain a 'measure of revenge' against 'the Magnificent One' and company. After a few minutes of action, in which the Muracos basically ran for their lives, both teams halted in their tracks as <b>King Kong Bundy</b> made his way out into the aisle and just stood there with his arms crossed. The referee noticed him and pointed towards him and said that he didn't want any 'funny business' and Bundy responded by simply placing his arms up into the air as if to say that he 'meant no harm'. When action continued, both teams got off on more even footing and the match went back and forth for the next several minutes as Bundy sort of inched a little closer to the ringside area, but still didn't really do anything significant. The Muracos then took over the contest and worked over 'Superfly' as he attempted to make the tag in to his son. Finally the hot tag was made and all four men ended up brawling in the ring. The Snukas then double clotheslined 'Don Jr.' out of the ring with 'Superfly' then slamming 'the Magnificent One' and pointing to Jimmy Jr. for him to go up to the top rope for a 'Superfly Splash' and it looks like we are about to have a 'memorable moment' when Montoya....er 'Don Jr.' makes his way around the ringside area, jumps up on the apron and then shoves Jimmy Jr. off the top rope and to the arena floor below. 'Don Jr.' and Sr. then enter the ring and start double teaming 'Superfly', which draws the attention of the referee. The Muracos held the elder Snuka up in the corner and allowed Bundy to hit the avalanche in the corner and from there 'the Magnificent One' began 'directing traffic'. <b>Ray Lloyd, Ron Cumberledge</b> and other preliminary wrestlers came out of of the back to try and make the save but were quickly disposed of by the three man wrecking crew. From there it was 'Don Jr.' turn to dish out some punishment on the elder Snuka and the 350 pounder delivered with a huge leg drop from off of the second rope that send the ring shaking! All hope looked lost at this point as the group had now decimated both Snukas. <b>Sgt. Craig Pittman</b> then ran in to a nice ovation and started tagging all three guys with big right hands! This, however, was short lived as there was no way Pittman could take on three men for any extended period of time. It was 'the Magnificent One' took care of Pittman personally with his Tombstone Piledriver. From there it was 'all smiles' as the elder Don congratulated Bundy and 'Don Jr' and then demanded a microphone...</i>

<i>Don smiles as he reaches over and gives Bundy a big hug and pat on the back. He then goes over and stomps 'Superfly' one time for good measure. By this time, Jay Sulli has made it up into the ring in an attempt to interview Mr. Muraco and company...</i>

<b>DON MURACO:</b> “See there, Jimmy... I TOLD YOU 'My Family' was strong... and, quite frankly... It's getting stronger ALL THE TIME! So what I would like to do right now is to issue a WARNING... Not just to Mr. Snuka here, but to ANYBODY that stands in the way of 'the Family'... Stand in my way and you will be CRUSHED OUT... Just like my cigars when I am done with them... Capice? Oh and ONE MORE THING... Sulli, I may still be 'Magnificent', but I think for now I would like to put that title 'on the shelf'... You see there are much, much bigger things brewing here... I've got 'my son' here... The 'family business' is thriving and so forth... So from now I think I'd like for you and your associates to refer to me only as 'the Don', as in 'the Don' of the Family... Jay and Dennis signed off by wondering if anyone could stand up to 'The Family'...</i></i>

Sulli and Coralluzzo then ran down what would be on today's program, including <b>Osamu Nishimura</b> in singles action. And... In today's 'Main Event' we will be seeing a huge tag team encounter as on of Mexico's top teams, <b>the Silverkings</b> do battle with the duo from the 'Land of the Rising Sun', <b>Sato & Kato: The Orient Express</b>...

From there, the program continued with Sulli excitedly asking Coralluzzo about the 'big announcement' that he said he was going to have this week and Dennis came forward and said that there was actually a 'good deal' of 'big news' and 'exciting changes' coming to Major League Wrestling. Mr. Corralluzzo then announced that Major League Wrestling had 'inked a deal' to be shown on 'Prime Sports' and that this meant that fans would now be able to see MLW over a 'much wider viewing area'. This meant that Major League Wrestling could soon be coming to a city near you! Mr. Corralluzzo also explained that this new venture meant 'growth' for his operation and that STARTING TODAY there were going to be some noticeable differences here in MLW, starting with himself. Mr. Corralluzzo the announced that he would be taking a more active role 'behind the scenes' in Major League Wrestling and that he would be stepping away from both the broadcast booth and his role as commissioner of MLW in order to sustain his new position as the 'President of Operations' for Major League Wrestling. Mr. Corralluzzo then says that both of his 'replacements' are here today and that we will be meeting both of them here on today's program. Dennis then welcomes <b>Kevin Kelly</b> to the broadcast and says that he will be taking over for him in the broadcast booth. <u> <b>MATCH #1: OSAMU NISHIMURA vs. EL PUERTO RICANO</b> </u>
Nishimura came stateside to train with two of the most respected American grapplers to ever wrestle in Japan in the form of the Funks, Terry and Dory Jr., and this training has shown through in his recent matches here in Major League Wrestling as the young Japanese star has went with mix of mat wrestling and submission attempts during his matches. This contest is no different as Nishimura works on the leg and sets up for the spinning toe hold, but is not able to get a submission victory against the debuting El Puerto Ricano. El Puerto Ricano showed a little fire during the contest, but Nishimura's ground game quickly put and end to that and allowed him to regain control of the contest. The end comes a few minutes later when Osamu pins his opponent with a bridging German suplex.

<u><b>MATCH #2: THE METAL MANIAC vs. THE HONKY TONK MAN</b></u>
Maniac was fired up for the start of this contest, while to be honest, the Honky Tonk Man didn't seem his normal self. HTM came to the ring to accept Maniac's challenge without the aide of his normal music and didn't seem to be quite as arrogant, or braggadocious as he had in previous weeks. From the outset it appeared as Honky was really off his game as the Maniac dominated the opening moments while the announcers wondered aloud if the HTM was having 'flashbacks' to his recent encounter with the Renegade Warrior since he was dealing with another 'face painted maniac' here today. Honky stalled and left the ring and eventually was able to mount some offense, but he again went into a shell when Maniac mounted another offensive flurry. The end came shortly after that, however, when Honky was able to 'put on the breaks' as Maniac was going for a big back body drop after a whip into the ropes and Honky countered with the 'Shake, Rattle & Roll' neckbreaker to set up the fall...

RESULT: THE HONKY TONK MAN BY PINFALL (6:04)

MLW returned from break with Sulli & Coralluzzo in the ring as it is now time for Coralluzzo to introduce the new Commissioner of Major League Wrestling... <b>Tod Gordon</b>. Coralluzzo says that Gordon is a successful business man and long time 'fan and supporter' of professional wrestling and that he is certain that Mr. Gordon will do a 'great job' in his new role here in MLW. Commissioner Gordon then thanked Mr. Coralluzzo and introduced himself to the fans before saying that he had a big announcement of his own, that being that in just a few short weeks Major League Wrestling would be crowning it's first ever heavyweight champion in a special 'one night tournament'. Gordon then introduced the fans to MLW's new 'head referee' <b>Tommy Young</b>, who brought the new MLW Heavyweight Title belt out to the ring with him to be displayed. Gordon then said that he had been following MLW and that he wasn't going to let the 'inmates run the asylum' so he knew he had to bring someone in to 'restore order' and, quite frankly, there was no one better than that than the many-times-over 'referee of the year' Tommy Young, so he had made it his 'first order of business' to do 'whatever it took' to get Mr. Young out of retirement and as you can see it worked. Sulli then got a few quick words with Referee Young, who assured the fans that he was completely healed from the injuries that had been sidelining him past few years and that he was ready, willing and able to officiate 'the best' here in MLW...

Today's main event was a return match from the first ever contest in MLW history and, just like the first time around, it did not disappoint. Both teams went back and forth with the Mexican contingent using their speed, while the Japanese duo tried to mat wrestle and keep things in their half of the squared circle. The Silverkings battled back with some high flying moves that led to several near falls around the ten minute mark. Sato and Kato suffered from miscommunication at times during the contest, but looked to have things at hand when Kato went up to the top rope, but Silver King #1 was able to counter with a top rope hurricanrana to get the fall, while #2 prevented Sato from making the save.

RESULT: THE SILVERKINGS BY PINFALL (15:51)

This caused a worried General Adnan to wave towards the back and then hop up on the ring apron to distract the referee, but Pittman used the distraction to whip the Sheik right into Adnan, which knocked the General off of the apron. The Sheik then staggered backwards right into a rear waste lock by Pittman... Pittman pops the hips... AND DROPS THE SHEIK RIGHT ON THE BACK OF HIS HEAD WITH A BIG BELLY TO BACK SUPLEX! Here come's Nikolai Volkoff out of the back! Pittman with the cover... 1........2.......Volkoff's not going to make it!.........3!!!! Craig Pittman has just pinned the Iron Sheik!

The Hangmen are two big, burly masked men, while the Bad Crew are two guys of similar size and stature. There isn't a lot of technique in this contest and things turn into a brawl pretty much from the outset. Once things settled down we get a, somewhat sloppy, tag team match that sees the Hangmen take over the action and get the victory, when Killer assisted Psycho to clothesline #2 with their 'Hangman's Noose' while Killer was still on the ring apron...

Today's main event was all about PRIDE as Slaughter looked to return to action after the attack at the hands of Adnan and his men, and Sheik was looking to 'humble' the young Pittman after being shocked and embarrassed by his pinfall loss here on 'Big League TV' just two weeks ago. This was a pretty standard tag team match with Volkoff doing the majority of the work for his team and the heels cheating to keep Slaughter trapped in their corner of the ring. The end came when Slaughter was able to make the hot tag and all four men ended up brawling in the ring. General Adnan hopped up onto the apron, but Slaughter rammed his and Sheik's head together before clamping the Sheik in 'the Cobra Clutch'. This allowed Pittman to fold up Volkoff with a belly to back suplex to get the fall on Volkoff...

<u> <b>MATCH #1: ACE DARLING vs. THE INFERNO KID</b> </u>
Darling and Kid shake hands to start the match and quickly go about some move/counter move sequences with each doing their best to keep up with the other. Both are young guys so the action is fast and furious, but not quite as polished as if it were two veterans in the ring. Darling controls much of the action as the match progresses, but Kid mounts a comeback and then goes up to the top rope for a cross body block, which Darling dodges and then takes advantage of his downed opponent for the fall with an Oklahoma side roll...

RESULT: ACE DARLING BY PINFALL (6:04)

<b>JAY SULLI:</b> “Fans... I'm here with the Snukas... 'Superfly'... You demanded 'the Family' in the ring and now you've got it, but who is your partner going to be?”

<b>SUPERFLY SNUKA:</b> “Oh don't you worry about that, brudda... MURACO... HE THE ONE THAT NEED TO BE WORRIED... We got a GOOD MAN to be our partner...”

<i>Just then <b>'The Don' Muraco</b> walked into the picture accompanied by his 'muscle' in the form of <b>Don Jr. & King Kong 'Boom Boom' Bundy</b>...</i>

<b>JAY SULLI:</b> “Listen fellas... I don't want any trouble... Why don't you wait to settle it in the ring later on...”

<i>Snuka looks about ready to fly into a rage, but Jimmy Jr. holds him back as a smurking Muraco takes the microphone...</i>

<b>DON MURACO:</b> “Oh there's not going to be any problems, Mr. Sulli... I can assure you of that... You see, Mr. Sulli, I am a BUSINESS MAN and, quite frankly, with the recent announcement, my sights are going to be squarely on Commissioner Gordon and his announcement of the tournament bracketing. You see the MLW Heavyweight Championship... That's where the money's at... So that's where I want to be... The rest... THE REST IS JUST DETAILS... So Snukas... You got your little match here today... So good luck to you... and your partner... It honestly doesn't even matter who you have selected... I already know what the end result will be... I just hope that nothing UNFORTUNATE happens to you or him between now and time for the main event... Good day, Gentlemen...”

<i> Major League Wrestling then returned with <b>Lee Scott & Ron Cumberledge</b> in the ring and 'Do Ya' Think I'm Sexy' by Rod Stewart playing as it was now time for the entrance of 'The Ravishing Bodies', but wait a minute.. <b>Chic Donovan</b> is out here by himself. It looks like his partner has left him 'high and dry'. Donovan asks for the microphone and explains that is the case and says that with the tag title tournament on the horizon that he is in search of a partner that can take 'the Bodies' into 'the Next Generation'. So that explains his 'scouting' of Darling earlier. Donovan then says that the muscular Cumberledge 'might fit the bill', but big Ron takes offense at the statement and demands a one on one contest...</i>

<u><b>MATCH #2: CHIC DONOVAN vs. RON CUMBERLEDGE</b></u>
Donovan tries to 'stall' and 'beg off' as the fired up Cumberledge takes the fight to the veteran in the early going. It's all big Ron for the first couple of minutes as he nails a number of big clotheslines and then gets a near fall following a high back body drop as he caught Chic coming out of the corner. Donovan was eventually able to take charge after a thumb to the eye slowed down the powerfully built youngster. 'You ain't got muscles in your eye balls...' , as the old saying goes. Cumberledge fought his way back, but missed a big splash in the corner, which allowed Donovan to get the victory with a 'school boy' roll up and a handful of tights...

RESULT: CHIC DONOVAN BY PINFALL (6:15)

MLW returned from break with Sulli in the ring as he introduces MLW Commissioner <b>Tod Gordon</b>. Gordon says that he is glad to be back here again this week and that, deep down, he is nothing more than 'a fan' and that's the part he loves the most about this job. He says that he has been 'working very hard' and that he thinks that he has come up with some matchups for the tournament that the fans would like to see. The brackets for the MLW Heavyweight Championship tournament are as follows...

Major League Wrestling returned with some confusion as a camera had been sent to the back to find <b>Sgt. Craig Pittman</b> laid out in the back. The entire area has been ransacked, but the camera does catch a fedora laying upside down on the ground. Hey that looks like 'Boom Boom' Bundy's hat! Just then help rushes to check on Pittman as Kelly & Sulli say that they 'smell a rat'. Kelly & Sulli wonder if 'the Family' might have suspected Pittman to be the Snukas' partner, or if this had more to do with the announcement that Pittman would be facing 'the Don' in the upcoming tournament. 'The Family' then comes out with Muraco making his way by that announce area and claiming 'to know nothing' when Kelly accuses him and his men of the attack...


The Snukas then made their way out sans partner and this caused 'the Don' to get on the microphone and proclaim that 'he KNEW the Snukas didn't have anyone because noone DARED stand up to 'the Family', and besides... Snuka didn't have any friends anyways...' After a few silent moments, Muraco continued to laugh and 'rub it in', but then all heck broke loose as the music began and a figure came running towards the ring...

<u><b>MATCH #3: 'SUPERFLY' JIMMY SNUKA, JIMMY SNUKA JR. & THE RENEGADE WARRIOR vs. 'THE FAMILY': 'DON' MURACO, DON JR. & 'BOOM BOOM' BUNDY</b></u>
The Renegade hit the ring and almost immediately things turned into a 'Pier 6' brawl with all six men going at it! After a few moments the good guys had the upper hand with 'the Superfly' and the Renegade joining forces to knock both Don Jr. and Bundy from the ring... This left 'the Don' trapped alone in the ring with all three men... Muraco, was somehow able to escape, however, and slid out of the ring to safety behind the broad shoulders of his two 'bruisers', Bundy and 'Don Jr.' With order now restored things continued with a somewhat normal six man tag taking place, though tempers did flare a number of times. For a good portion of the contest, 'the Family' kept 'the Superfly' trapped in their corner of the ring and did a lot of damage to him, but, after several attempts, Snuka finally made the hot tag to his son and then all hell broke loose again! 'Superfly' and Don Jr. ended up brawling on the floor, while the Renegade shook the ring by BODYSLAMMING BUNDY! 'The Don' nailed the Renegade from behind and knocked him out of the ring, where he continued to do battle with Bundy and then turned around into a flying cross body from the top rope from Jimmy Jr. for a near fall! An angry Muraco popped back up and quickly took control of things as he set up his tombstone pile driver, but Jimmy Jr. slid down 'the Don's back, ran Muraco into the ropes and then caught him with a rolling reverse cradle for the fall with Muraco kicking out just a moment too late...

RESULT: THE SNUKAS & RENEGADE, JIMMY JR. PINNED MURACO (15:15)
