05-04-94 - Huntington Civic Center Huntington, WVOkerlund: Hello Wrestling Fans and welcome to Eastern Championship Wrestling; with you live tonight from the Huntington Civic Center in Huntington, West Virginia. Tonight we have a tremendous Main Event lined up as The Lawlers take on the nefarious cabal known as The Dark Circle.
Poffo: Indeed Gene. Jerry "The King" Lawler will certainly be looking for some retribution tonight against Papa Shango and Brickhouse Brown who put him out of action for nearly two months. I don't think Shango's voodoo shenanigans will help him out of these one.
Okerlund: Certainly agree with you there. Speaking of payback; we'll also be hearing from "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson tonight. Anderson who is still recuperating after a brutal cage match with Eastern Heavyweight Champion "Macho Man" Randy Savage over a month ago.
Poffo: Savage certainly handed ol' AA a beating that night.
Okerlund: And quite an unnecessary one I might add.
Poffo: If you could count?
"Fire" by Scooter plays as Steve Corino appears on the ramp.
McGillicutty: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Making his way to the ring first from Sea City Isle, New Jersey weighing 242 lbs.; Steve Corino.
Inside the ring with referee S.D. Jones, Steve adjusts his tights as generic hard rock music starts and Matt Borne appears on the ramp arms raised.
McGillicutty: And his opponent this evening hailing from Elwood City, Pennsylvania at 243 lbs.; he is "The Maniac" Matt Borne.Match: Steve Corino vs. Matt Borne At the start of the match Matt Borne extends his hand to Steve Corino, only to retract it and scratch his ass when Corino goes to accept. The angers the young grappler who immediately begins laying into Borne with hard jabs to the gut. It takes Borne a moment to recover, but he immediately gets the upperhand as he begins wailing on Corino, hammering him across the ring. Beating him into the ropes Maniac Matt Irish whips Steve across the ring and nails him with a sidewalk slam for a two count. Back on his feet Matt begins stomping on Corino who rolls out of the ring to catch his breath. Borne isn't happy with this however and climbing out onto the apron leaps on top of Steve with a flyind clothesline. Corino however counters this with a knee to Borne's gut and lifting the veteran to his feet runs him shoulder first into the guardrail. While Matt winces in pain on one knee, Corino begins hammering on him before helping him up and rolling his opponent into the ring. As Steve reenters however; he catches a boot to the face from the recovered Borne who lifts the young man up and nails him with a suplex. When Steve kicks out at two again; Borne lifts him up only to fall victim to a back body drop from Corino. Keeping on top of him, Steve nails Maniac Matt with an elbowdrop before locking in the Cobra Clutch. Borne struggles in the move and attempts to battle out; and eventually manages to get to the ropes. Jones orders Corino to release the hold and when he does Matt Borne charges under Steve Corino's legs and lifts him into the air. Running across the ring he slams Corino onto the top turnbuckle before dragging him into the middle of the ring for the pin.Okerlund: Hello ladies and gentlemen and welcome back to Eastern Championship Wrestling as our second match of the evening is about to get underway with Steven Richards set to take on The Texas Hangman.
Poffo: Who will win? The suspense is killing me Gene.
"Everyday" by Buddy Holly sounds as Steven Richards appears on the ramp.McGillicutty: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania weighing 215 lbs.; Steven Richards.
Inside the ring Richards shakes hands with Danny Davis as some western music plays.
A masked fat man with a noose around his neck emerges from the back. McGillicutty: And his opponent this evening weighing 285 lbs. from Parts Unknown; he is The Texas Hangman.
Poffo: Wait a minute. Parts Unknown is in Texas?Match: Steven Richards vs. The Texas Hangman (Black Bart) When Steven Richards attempts to lock up with The Texas Hangman; the big man pushes him back hard knocking him to the floor. Richards scowls at him from the floor before leaping to his feet and hits the masked man with chop after chop. Going for a whip; Richards instead finds himself whipped across the ring and on the receiving end of a clothesline from The Texas Hangman. The Hangman mugs for the crowd who boo him until Richards jumps back up and locks in a sleeper hold. It looks like the large man is on the verge of passing out when he leans forward taking Steven off his feet and begins charging about the ring until they reach a corner where Richards throws out his feet and connects with a springboard bulldog. With The Texas Hangman down on the ground; Steven Richards locks in the Koji Clutch and after several moments trying to escape the hold; The Hangman taps.
The camera then cuts backstage where Eric Bischoff is with the new Eastern Woman's Champion Leilani Kai. Bischoff: Hello ladies and gentlemen. Eric Bischoff here and I'm proud to present Eastern Championship Wrestling's newest Women's Champion; "The Hawaiin Princess" Leilani Kai. Welcome Leilani.
Leilani: That's Princess Kai to you Eric. I'm Hawaiian royalty and you're nothing more than a sycophant. Act like it.
Bischoff: Well... okay. That was one hell of a match last week against Jacqueline Moore; some would say an upset. How does it feel to be the new Women's Champ?
Leilani: Are you trying to get cute with me Eric? How do you think it feels? It feels pretty damned good. And what's this upset talk? I have years of training and experience over that jezebel Miss Texas. Last week I pinned her to that mat 1,2,3. Nothing more to it. And let me tell you something; now that I have this Title; there isn't a woman that works for this company or any other that can take it off me.
Just then Jacqueline enters from the left.Jacqueline: What'd you just call me?
Leilani: You heard--
Jacqueline: You know what Leilani? Forget that. I'm not sinking to that level. But there's one thing you had better know. And that's next week here at Eastern Championship there's going to be a new Women's Champion. That's right. Because last week; you were lucky. But next week you'll be back in that ring with the true Women's Champion; "Miss Texas" Jacqueline Moore. Cause I'm invoking my rematch. Your Highness.
Leilani Kai doesn't look too pleased as the camera cuts back to ringside with Mean Gene Okerlund and Lanny Poffo.
Okerlund: Strong words from our new Women's Champ.
Poffo: Indeed Gene. Though is Jacqueline has her way her Title reign will certainly be a short one. Speaking of short ones...
Th Kaientai Theme plays as Tajiri and Mr. Fuji appear on the ramp.
Okerlund: That comment is despicable Lanny. Even for you.
Poffo: ...I meant the Match length Gene.
McGillicutty: The following Match is scheduled for one fall. On his way to the ring hailing from Tokyo, Japan weighing in at 180 lbs. and accompanied to the ring at this time by Mr. Fuji; he is one half of the Tag-Team Champions The New Orient Express; "The Japanese Buzzsaw" Yoshihiro Tajiri.
Tajiri stalks about the ring while Teddy Long instructs Mr. Fuji to wait outside as The Canadian National Anthem sounds.
McGillicutty: And his opponent this evening from Hamilton, Ontario, Canada weighing 282 lbs. he is Canada's Greatest Athlete "Iron" Mike Sharpe.
Poffo: I find cultural differences baffling.
Okerlund: I should know better than to ask. Why?
Poffo: Well if we were in Canada and this were the CWF; these fans would be cheering right now.Match: Yoshihiro Tajiri vs. Mike Sharpe When Long starts the match Yoshihiro Tajiri locks up with Mike Sharpe whom he almost immediately takes down with a snapmare before kicking him in the back of the head. Sharpe powers out hard before a two count when Yoshihiro goes for a pin and is soon lifted to his feet. The Japanese Buzzsaw looks for a snap suplex; but is unable to pick up his much larger opponent who immediately retaliates with hard punches to Yoshihiro's mid-section before nailing an inverted Atomic Drop and proceeds to tke The Buzzsaw's head clean off with a clothesline. Iron Mike goes for the pin ; but Tajiri stuns the crowd when he kicks out just before the three is administered. Sharpe then lifts Tajiri up to his feet and begins hammering his neck and back before looking for the powerbomb. Tajiri however counters this in mid-air as he faceplants Sharpe into the mat for another two count. As Sharpe gets back to his feet Yoshihiro runs into the ropes and comes back nailing a springboard dropkick that sends Iron Mike staggering backward into the ropes. Charging across the ring; Tajiri leaps onto Mike and locks him into The Tarantula. Sharpe screams in pain as Teddy begins the count; Tajiri only relinquishing the hold at four. Dropping to his knees in pain, Mike Sharpe crawls away from the ropes on all fours, only to look up just in time to see Yoshihiro Tajiri nail The Shining Wizard on him for the three count.Okerlund: Welcome back ladies and gentlemen to Eastern Championship Wrestling. Before the break we witnessed a big win by "The Japanese Buzzsaw" Yoshihiro Tajiri over "Iron" Mike Sharpe. Up next we'll see our new Women's Champion here at Eastern Championship; Leilani Kai in one on one action with Luna Vachon.
Poffo: This one's bound to be a brutal encounter Gene. Both of these women are quite savage in the ring.
Okerlund: Certainly Lanny. These are definitely two women I wouldn't want to meet down a dark alley.
Poffo: So in otherwords you're saying there are women you'd like to meet down a dark alley?
Okerlund: I'm married.
Poffo: I know. For shame Gene.
Okerlund: Can it Poffo.
Hawaiian music plays as Leilani Kai emerges from the back with the Women's Title in hand. She holds it up to the crowd.
McGillicutty: The following non-Title bout is scheduled for one fall. Making her way to the ring first from Honolulu, Hawaii at 162 lbs; she is the Eastern Women's Champion; "The Hawaiian Princess" Leilani Kai.
Kai gets in the ring with ref S.D. Jones and points to the belt while yelling at the booing crowd.
McGillicutty: And her opponent this evening accompanied to the ring by The Lady Alexandra; from Atlanta, Georgia weighing 140 lbs.; Luna Vachon.Match: Luna Vachon vs. Leilani Kai From the start of the bell an all out brawl breaks out as Luna Vachon and Leilani Kai begin hammering on one another. In the corner Kai picks Vachon up for a momentary bear hug before tossing her into the turnbuckles where she first punches, the kicks; and finally stomps on Luna as she falls to the floor. Jones pulls her off once she begins using the ropes for leverage and getting to her feet with a bloody lip, Luna charges Kai connecting with a huge shoulder tackle. Bringing the Women's Champ down to the floor, Vachon begins hammering on The Hawaiian Princess until Jones breaks the duo up again. Keeping on top of Kai, Vachon locks her into a rear chinlock and applies the pressure. Leilani growls in pain, but manages to flip Luna over and onto the mat. Leaping up to her feet she hits Vachon in the face with a double kneedrop. Picking up her now dazed opponent; Leilani Kai nails Luna Vachon with a sitout powerbomb which she holds for the pin. When Eastern Championship Wrestling returns The Baron Von Raschke is already in the ring with microphone in hand and The Blitzkrieg at his side as "Ich tu der weh" by Rammstein filters out.Raschke: Quiet. Quiet you filthy Capitalist pigs. Before you stands the Ubermensch. The best The Republic of Germany has to offer. The monster. The mangler or meat. The breaker of bones. The slayer of skin. The Blitzkrieg. And if you don't shut it. You American scum. I will turn him loose. To destroy. Destroy all your worthless hides. But tonight The Baron. The Baron Von Raschke has other business at hand. Business concerning gold. And how the vile, racist dogs that call themselves management here at Eastern Championship Wrestling keep it. Keep it away from he who should rightfully possess it all. The Intercontinental Title. The Tag-Team Titles. The Wo-- Ah Women have no place having Titles. Stick to the kitchen I say. And of course the most important, the most coveted of Titles in all of wrestling today. The WWF Title you say? Are they even open this week? No. The most prestigious of prizes The Baron Von Raschke talks about today of course. That medal of medals. The Eastern Heavyweight strap. The one that belongs on the most dominant wrestler ever to step foot on this accursed American soil. The Monster. Mangler's Monster. The Blitzkrieg. You know it as do I. And Bischoff knows it. So Bischoff. Come and find me. Before we find you.
Irish Folk music then plays as "The Leprechaun" Erin O'Grady appears from the back and tosses gold coins to the crowd.
McGillicutty: And his opponent this evening weighing in at 212 lbs. from Dublin, Ireland; he is "The Leprechaun" Erin O'Grady.Match: Erin O'Grady vs. The Blitzkrieg When Danny Davis starts the Match; Erin O'Grady keeps his distance from The Blitzkrieg who plods towards him; and circles about the ring. Finally O'Grady makes his move and sprinting up the corner leaps off connecting with a missile dropkick that staggers the giant. Pleased with the result, Erin mounts the turnbuckle again and leaps off connecting with a second missile dropkick. The Blitzkrieg nearly falls to one knee this time but keeps his footing. As The Leprechaun looks to run toward the ropes however The Blitzkrieg catches him by the neck from behind and spins him about before connecting with a massive clothesline. Not quite finished, The Blitzkrieg lifts his fallen opponent to his feet and into the air where he hits Erin O'Grady with a military press drop. Stepping on his inert opponent for the pin; Blitzkrieg picks up the win.Okerlund: Greetings ladies and gentlemen and welcome back to Eastern Championship Wrestling here on our home station of TNN The Nashville Network. We just got word that "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson will be joining us via satellite shortly.
Poffo: That should bee a safe enough distance from "The Macho Man."
The camera then pans toward the big screen where after several moments the visage of Arn Arn Anderson is seen. His shoulder is bandaged up but otherwise he seems fine. He has his ring gear on. Beside him is Miss Elizabeth. Okerlund: Hello Arn. Good to see you again.
Anderson: Thank you Gene. Means alot. As for you Lanny; I'd shut yer yap until you're man enough to get in that ring again.
Okerlund: Heh. So how're you feeling Arn? You're looking well.
Anderson: Well Gene. There're alot of people out there who were speculating Arn Anderson was gonna fade to black. Go away. His career was over. Well honestly when I feel off that cage back in Uniondale, New York; heard the flesh in my neck tear as I fell fifteen feet to the canvas. Part of me Gene. Part of ol' AA thought that may very well be the case too. But I had some good doctors over at Good Sam. And Liz here. Other than being an angel; she's one hell of a nurse. Thanks Liz. And while laying there on the mat I prayed to God it wasn't over Gene. I didn't want it to be. But there're people out there who did. We know who they are. Chief among them; the man who did it; that coward "Macho Man" Randy Savage. Now I've heard Randy is real proud of himself. And I guess in a way; he should be. He nearly had me. Nearly ended my career. But he didn't And therefore he shouldn't be. What he should be is scared. Scared cause he awoke a sleeping lion. Cause I'm coming back Gene. And soon. Very soon in that there very ring. It's gonna be Mr. Fame and Glamour himself Randy Savage and Arn Anderson the devout wrestling professional. So understand one thing Randy. When you look in these eyes; burn them into your memory, this thing's not over; it's just begun.
Okerlund: Thank you Arn. And there you have it folks. The Eastern Heavyweight Champ has been put on notice. "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson is on his way back to Eastern Championship.
Poffo: That guy's just a glutton for punishment.
Okerlund: Apparently so are you. Unless you missed AA's challenge.
Poffo: What challenge? He said until I get back inside the ring. I'm still at ringside.
Okerlund: Not sure if that makes you a Genius or a coward Poffo.
McGillicutty: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first making his way from Anneville, Pennsylvania weighing 246 lbs.; he is "The Silent Assassin" Steve Blackman.
Blackman appears on stage and gives a show with his Kendo Sticks before making his way down the ramp.
McGillicutty: And his opponent weighing 230 lbs. from Parts Unknown, New Hampshire; he is the masked man of mystery; known simply as Dangerous.Match: Dangerous vs. Steve Blackman When Long starts the match Dangerous locks up with Steve Blackman; whom he takes down with a snapmare seconds later. Locking Blackman in a headlock, Dangerous applies the pressure until Steve throws his leg up and kicks the masked man in the head. Back on his feet The Silent Assasin delivers several chops to Dangerous before jumping up and connecting with a roundhouse thrust kick that sends Dangerous reeling into the ropes. Looking to keep his lead, Steve charges his opponent only to receive a bionic elbow to the head followed by a Tornado DDT off the second rope. Going for the cover Dangerous gets a two count. Picking Blackman up, Dangerous hammers him a bit before Steve surprises him by slapping him away and then nailing him with a hard headbutt. Grabbing the masked man Steve Blackman hits a side Russian legsweep that puts Dangerous away for the three count.Okerlund: Hello Wrestling Fans and welcome back to Eastern Championship Wrestling as we get set for tonight's huge Main Event. Things have been building to this for a while; as on his second night here at ECW "The Soul Stealer" Papa Shango injured Jerry "The King" Lawler with help from his croney Brickhouse Brown.
Poffo: The King will definitely be looking for some payback tonight Gene. As we witnessed last week when Lawler made his comeback; costing Brickhouse the Intercontinental Title in his Match with Rob Van Dam.
Okerlund: Somehow I doubt The Dark Circle is looking too kindly on that turn of events either Lanny.
Poffo: Indeed Gene. Both teams are sure to be looking to hurt one another tonight. The Bill Conti Overture sounds as Jerry and Brian Lawler emerge from the back.
McGillicutty: The following Tag-Team Match is scheduled for one fall. Making their way to the ring first from memphis, Tennessee weighing a combined 456 lbs.; they are the team of Brian Lawler and Jerry "The King" Lawler.
Once the Lawlers are inside the ring posing for the crowd; the arena goes dark and mist fills the arena. As voodoo music plays Papa Shango appears on the ramp with Brickhouse Brown and Manami Toyota.
McGillicutty: And their challengers this evening making their way from The Depths of Hell and accompanied to the ring by Manami Toyota, weighing a combined total of 590 lbs.; they are Brickouse Brown and "The Soul Stealer" Papa Shango; The Dark Circle.Tag-Team Match: The Lawlers vs. The Dark Circle Jones starts the Match as Jerry Lawler locks up with Brickhouse Brown. Lawler immediately catches Brown offguard with an elbow to the eye before hammering him across the ring. Whipping Brickhouse across the ring; Jerry catches him from behind and locks on the sleeper before transitioning to a belly to back suplex. Going for the pin he gets a two count before Shango interferes with a diving elbow drop. Lifting The King to his feet, Shango hammers The King a bit while S.D. Jones yells at him. Once Brickhouse is back up; both he and Shango set Jerry up for a double flapjack; which they connect with before the voodoo priest leaves the ring. On the outside Brian Lawler comes up to Papa while he is still on the apron and grabbing him from behind; pulls him down for a jawbreaker right on the ring. Meanwhile inside Brickhouse Brown has nailed Jerry with two successive clotheslines; and when Th King gets back up he lifts Lawler into a powerbomb predicament. Jerry however has other plans and nails Brown with a desparation DDT. Both men are hurt however and Jerry is unable to make the cover. Outside the ring Shango is beating on Brian Lawler and is about to ram him face first into the guardrail when Manami Toyota gets draws his attention to inside the ring. Leaving the younger Lawler where he stands, he gets back into his corner. Brian now also sees his father's situation and rushes to his own corner as both men stir in the middle of the ring. Brickhouse gets the tag first however and Papa Shango launches into the ring after Jerry Lawler; who leaps for his son and just makes the tag. Brian immediately goes up top and connects with a huge missile dropkick on Shango that sends him down to the mat. While Jerry climbs out of the ring; Brian puts the boots to the voodoo shaman as the big man gets up to his feet. He nails Lawler with a hard right and soon the two men are brawling about the ring until Shango lunges at Brian looking for a clothesline; and ends up on the receiving end of a backslide pin. Shango kicks out at two and getting to his feet first kicks Brian in the back before catching him in a double chicken wing; applies pressure with his knee to Lawler's back. Brian screams in pain and looks to be about to give up when he fights his way back up to his feet and using all his power manages to turn around and kick Shango in the gut before nailing him with a jawbreaker over his shoulder. He limply makes the cover; but only gets a two count. Still in pain from the submission hold, Brian crawls over to his corner to make the tag; but Shango grabs his leg and pulls him back into the ring. Lawler however manages to twist his way onto his back and throw Shango off with his feet. Leaping to his corner he makes the tag and Jerry Lawler comes barrelling in. The King takes Shango down to the floor with a hard right followed by a spinning back elbow. With Papa Shango on the ground Jerry hits a fist drop and makes the cover. Shango powers out at two. As Shango gets to one knee; Lawler puts The Soul Stealer in a headlock; but he soon manages to escape and getting to his feet takes Jerry down with a clothesline. Putting the boots to The King; Shango tags in Brown and the two men Irish whip Jerry across the ring. On the rebound however he connects with a springboard clothesline that takes both Dark Circle members to the ground. Thinking Shango is the legal man; Jerry stomps on him for a bit before the big man rolls out of the ring; when from behind Brickhouse executes a full nelson facebuster on The King. Going for the cover Brown holds tight for the 1...2.... King kicks out! Brown pounds the apron in disappointment while Papa Shango runs riot on the outside. Meanwhile Manami Toyota has grabbed Brian Lawler and hits him with a face full of voodoo mist. He goes down to the ground screaming. Inside the ring Brickhouse Brown pulls Jerry to his feet and hoists him up for a vertical suplex. The King however squirms his way free and lands on one knee behind Brown. As Brickhouse turns to see what hapned; Jerry nails him with a hard right hand before executing a Piledriver on his surprised foe. Lawler then signals he's going up top and climbs up the turnbuckle. Just as he's about to jump however; Papa Shango comes up from behind and grabs Jerry's legs. The two men struggle as Jerry falls backward. But he catches his balance and stomps on Shango's face sending him down to the arena floor. Standing on the top turnbuckle for a moment triumphantly; Jerry Lawler flies high; nailing the fist drop on Brickhouse Brown and goes for the cover picks up the win.
Lights Fade.

05-11-94 West Virginia University Coliseum Morgantown, WVOkerlund: Hello ladies and gentlemen and welcome to Eastern Championship Wrestling here on our home channel of TNN The Nashville Network. Tonight we join you live from West Virginia University Coliseum in Morgantown, West Virginia. I'm "Mean" Gene Okerlund and with me at ringside as always is "The Genius" Lanny Poffo. Welcome Lanny.
Poffo: Thanks Gene. Tonight we have one tremendous show lined up.
Okerlund: Looks like I'm beginning to rub off on you.
Poffo: Better not let your wife hear that.
Okerlund: Lanny is quite right folks. We have some huge matches lined up for you tonight. The Women's Championship will be on the line in a rematch between former Women's Champion Jacqueline Moore who is looking to get her Title back from "The Hawaiian Princess" Leilani Kai.
Poffo: And if chick fights are not your thing; because they certainly aren't mine; tonight's Main Event is to determine the number one contender for the Intercontinental Championship. Chris Jericho and Mongo Vyle will square off here tonight for the chance to face Intercontinental Champion Rob Van Dam.
Okerlund: And if that's not enough we open tonight's show with a huge Tag-Team bout as the Eastern Tag-Team Champions The New Orient Express take on the recently returned tandem of Brian Lawler and Jerry "The King" Lawler. The Kaientai Theme sounds as The New Orient Express appear on the ramp with their Titles.
McGillicutty: The following non-Title Tag-Team Match is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first at a combined weight of 370 lbs. from Tokyo, Japan and accompanied to the ring by Mr. Fuji; they are the Easter Tag-Team Champions Taka Michinoku and Yoshihiro Tajiri; The New Orient Express.
The Tag Champs pose for the crowd before handing their belts over to referee Danny Davis. The Bill Conti Overture then sounds as The Lawlers emerge from the back. McGillicutty: And their opponents making their way from Memphis, Tennessee weighing a combined 456 lbs.; the team of Jerry "The King" and Brian Lawler.Tag-Team Match: The New Orient Express vs. The Lawlers Yoshihiro Tajiri and Brian Lawler start things off as they lock up. Tajiri overpowers Brian at the offset and pushes him back into the ropes as they fight for advantage. Almost going over the ropes, Brian counters with an elbow to Tajiri's face and hopping up to sit on the top rope springboards off for a sunset flip pin on The Japanese Buzzsaw. He gets a two count before Tajiri kicks out and leaps back to his feet a second before Lawler whom he starts pounding with a series of kicks that Brian does his best to block. Finally catching Tajiri's foot, Lawler spins him and lifting him up turns into the ring for a suplex. Quickly going for the cover he gets a one count before Tajiri kicks out. Lifting his opponent back to his feet, Brian is blocked by Tajiri who begins beating on him. The two men go punch for punch until Brian whips Tajiri across the ring; only to fall victim to a headscissors takedown. Making the cover, Tajiri has it when Jerry Lawler enters illegally and kicks him in the side breaking the count. Taka Michinoku is soon in the ring as well as a brawl between Jerry and The Express breaks out. After having the initial advantage; Jerry falls victim to superior numbers as they beat him into the corner and begin stomping on him. Brian however is back on his feet and charging The Orient Express takes them both down with a big flying crossbody. Helping his father up; Brian and Jerry lift Tajiri for a double delayed suplex. They then do the same to Michinoku who rolls out of the ring. Davis wants Jerry out of his ring and the veteran does as he's told after dragging Tajiri to his corner with Brian where he tags in. Jerry stomps The Buzzsaw for a bit before picking him up and slapping him into the corner. He then runs about the ring and charges in for a big back elbow on Tajiri. Yoshihiro however is coming to and sees Lawler charging in. At the last second he hops up onto the top turnbuckle as Jerry crashes into the post. As The King grumbles in pain; Tajiri locks him into The Tarantula. Lawler howls in pain until he is released at the four count. Both men are now hurt and crawling on their hands and knees. The crafty Mr. Fuji runs over to The Lawler corner and grabs Jerry's foot. While Davis admonishes him; Taka sprints into the ring and pulls Tajiri over to their corner. Fuji then lets go and Danny turns in time to see Taka Michinoku tag in. He immediately runs for the ropes and flattens The King with a springboard moonsault to the back before going for the cover. King kicks out just before the three however and while Michinoku pounds on his head he fights his way to one knee. Jerry then hits a desperation uppercut that sends Taka reeling back before hoising him into the air for a fallaway slam. Taka is now down. And The King is still down. Jerry gets to his feet first and lowers the strap on his singlet. He grabs Taka as he struggles to his feet and begins pounding on his head. Lifting him up into the air Jerry The King Lawler nails Taka Michinoku hard with a piledriver and makes the cover. Davis starts the count as Brian Lawler shoots across the ring and knocks the illegal Tajiri into and over the ropes to the ground below. Suddenly out of the crowd however appears Papa Shango. The big man mounts the guard rail and leaps up onto the apron distracting Danny Davis from the count as he enters the ring. Jerry looks up just in time to see Papa Shango begin putting the boots to him. Brickhouse Brown is now in the ring too and is beating on Brian Lawler. Davis calls for the bell; awarding the match to The Lawlers via DQ as the assault continues. Outside the ring now; The New Orient Express regroup and seem more than happy with this turn of events as they laugh and make their exit back up the ramp. Both Lawlers are down and in pain as Papa Shango and Brickhouse Brown looms over them.
Shango: Jerry... Lawler... Last week you meddled in the affairs of The Dark Lord. Interfered with "The Soul Stealer's" plans for the last time. You. Dare. Look for revenge against Papa Shango? Your tiny brain knows nothing; nothing; of the revenge in store for you. That first time we met should have been our last. A mercy. That first time we met. That beating. That destruction you suffered at the hands of The Dark Circle will seem a blessing by comparison. In comparison what I have in store for you. What The Dark Circle will unleash upon you and your ilk. For now The Dark Circle has turned its attention on you. And that Circle shall soon close on you. Mwahahaha. Shango then has Brickhouse Brown lift Jerry Lawler off the mat; where Papa Shango takes Jerry from him and nails him with an inverted shoulderbreaker.Okerlund: Hello Wrestling Fans and welcome back to Eastern Championship Wrestling. Before the break we witnessed another hellacious beating from The Dark Circle. Their target once again; the recently returned Jerry "The King" Lawler.
Poffo: An apt description of any beating at the hands of those three Gene. But in a way I have to say; I agree with the logic of Papa Shango. In their first encounter he put "The King" on the shelf for two months. That was more than a warning. It was a threat. Jerry would have steered clear of "The Soul Stealer" if he were smart.
Okerlund: Well not all of us can be Geniuses I guess.
Poffo: Indeed not.
Okerlund: Or cowards. Which is one thing I've never heard Jerry Lawler referred to. I'm sure this isn't the last we've heard of this rivalry.
Irish Folk music is head as Erin O'Grady appears from the back and throws gold coins to the fan.
Poffo: Just how much does Bischoff pay you to lose in this promotion?
Okerlund: Huh?
Poffo: Well where does he get all that gold?
Okerlund: He's a Leprechaun?
McGillicutty: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Making his way to the ring first from Dublin, Ireland weighing in at 212 lbs.; he is "The Leprechaun" Erin O'Grady. Once O'Grady is inside the ring with Teddy Long, Devon Hughes appears on the ramp.
Devon: Testify!
McGillicutty: And his opponent this evening hailing from New Rochelle, New York weighing 280 lbs.; Devon Hughes.Match: Erin O'Grady vs. Devon Hughes Erin O'Grady is quick to lock up with the much stronger Devon Hughes who overpowers him forcing him down to his knees. Erin quickly counters this with a snapmare however and folls it up with a jumping enziguiri kick to the seated Hughes. He makes the cover and gets a two before Devon powers up. Erin keeps on his opponent and pounds on the bigger man's head as he gets to one knee. When Devon begins to retaliate however; O'Grady retreats in the ropes and coming back flyinf with a springboard moonsault. Devon is already back on his feet though; and catches The Leprechaun in mid-air before nailing him with a rolling powerslam. Kip upping; Devon nails O'Grady with a delayed elbowdrop before going for the cover. O'Grady limply kicks out just before the three count. Angered now Devon lifts Erin to his feet and begins pounding hard on his neck and back before Irish whipping him across the ring. O'Grady however surprised Devon by sliding through his legs, pops up behind him, jumps up; and nails him with a double knee backbreaker. Going for the pin he gets another two before Devon powers out hard. When Erin O'Grady charges back at him swinging high; he is met by a shoulder thrust by Devon Hughes; who grabs The Leprchaun as he gets to his feet and hits a spinebuster. Going for the cover he gets the pin. When Eastern Championship returns; Rick Rude's strip music is heard and as the camera pans to the ring we see Rick Rude himself walking about the ring in his robe with microphone in hand.Rude: Alright. Cut the music. Now just let me say this from the outset. I nearly didn't make it here tonight. You see when "The Ravishing One;" Rick Rude; thinks about West Virginia. He thinks about Mountains. Hell your hometown team is The Mountaineers. So I'm thinking Mountain people. Cousin kissers. Buck-tooth inbreds. So I'm thinking; why in the hell would I want to come here? But then my good friend Chris Jericho; he reminds me of little Mary Lou Retton. Sure. She's kind of cute. Very flexible. Which is definitely a plus. And of course... she's from West Virginia. But I'm thinking she's a fluke. So Chris and I have a little wager going. So if you want to prove me wrong; let's see all these West Virginia hotties in the house. Who's it gonna be? You?... You?... You're too fat... Now we're talking. You right there. Get on up here.
Security helps the woman Rick has selected as she makes her way through the crowd and up into the ring. Rude: Now I'm not going to act like I care what your name is. Rick Rude is the type of man who has a ship in every port. And being I can see you've been dreaming of this moment for years I'm sure you already know how this works. So if you will... my robe.
The woman helps Rude remove his robe and just like before as it comes off; he scoops her into his arms and kisses her deeply. She seems stunned.
Rude: Now what's say we give the rest of these ladies a show. You can touch if you want.
Rude's strip music hits as he begins giving a dance for the ladies. The camera then cuts to ringside with Gene and Poffo.
Poffo: Man. What do I need to do around here to get his job?
Okerlund: I dunno. Work out harder. Get a facelifit.
Poffo: The only place I lift my face from is your wife- Okerlund: Ahem. Keep it PG Lanny.

We're about set for a Women's Title match in which Jacqueline Moore looks to reclaim the Championship Leilani Kai won from her two weeks ago today.
Poffo: And good luck to Jacqueline I say Gene. She's definitely going to need it here tonight. As far as Women competitors go; Kai is no slouch. Just last week she took out Luna Vachon in similar fashion.

Lifting her opponent to one knee, The Hawaiian Princess hits her with a bionic elbow followed by a flurry of punches to the face and a headlock. Jacqueline however fights her way up to her feet and hits a side suplex; bridging it for the pin. Kai kicks out at two. Still in control, Jacqueline lifts Leilani to her feet and begins beating the Champ's head and back before whipping her into the ropes. On the way back however Kai hits a big shoulder tackle and begins pummeling Jacqueline. Pulling the dazed Jacqueline Moore up to her feet by her hair, Leilani Kai lays her out via a snapmare before going up top and leaping off; connecting with a diving splash that puts Miss Texas away for the three. When Eastern Championship Wrestling returns to air Pomp and Circumstance is playing and "Macho Man" Randy Savage is already inside the ring with Debbie Combs; the Eastern Heavyweight Championship draped over his shoulder.Savage: Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I heard it all before. Arn Anderson's all fired up. Yeah. Arn Anderson's out to destroy The Macho Man. Make a name for himself sure. Well let me tell you something. Macho Man Randy Savage has met The Enforcer Arn Anderson in this very here ring yeah. And the battle was tough. The battle was fierce. Dig it. But one incontrovertible fact has always remained. Ooh yeah. And that fact is that The Macho Man has always, without fail, single handedly brough The Enforcer to his knees. Beat him. Pinned him. For the 1-2-3. Dig it. So now he's hearing it again. Fear Arn Anderson. Fear Arn Anderson? Arn Anderson ain't no boogeyman. That's that fool Papa Shango's schtick. What Arn Anderson is however, is a chump, a fool. And that's why as far as this here belt. The Eastern Heavyweight Championship will remain under the Macho Man's rule. Ooooh yeah!
Okerlund: Strong words from the Heavyweight Champion.
Poffo: And I'm sure you'll agree; not totally without some validity.
Okerlund: Begrudgingly. One thing I will say is neither of these men are ready to back down. When "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson returns and comes looking for some payback; and he will; things are going to get brutal here at Eastern Championship Wrestling that's for sure.
Poffo: Indeed.
Western music is heard as Black Bart makes his way down the ramp.

As Black Bart groggily gets to his feet on the outside; Jumping Jim climbs up the turnbuckles and leaps out looking for a diving double axe handle. Big win for "The Outlaw" Black Bart before the break.
Poffo: Definitely his biggest since tackling the Al You Can Eat buffet.
Okerlund: ...You're just looking to offend everyone.
Poffo: I do try. Tonight's fat people night.
Okerlund: Ahem. Our next match is about to start Lanny. See if you can behave yourself.
Voodoo music starts as the lights go dark and mist fills the arena. Papa Shango appears on the ramp with Brickhouse Brown and Manami Toyota in tow.

Shango enters the ring with his cronies and does his voodoo schtick until he takes offense at referee S.D. Jones removing Brown and Toyota from the ring. He eyes Jones menacingly; but the old veteran doesn't back down.
McGillicutty: And his opponent this evening hailing from Montreal, Quebec, Canada at 231 lbs.; he is "The Rugged One" Ronnie Garvin.Match: Papa Shango vs. Ronnie Garvin Jones starts the match as Papa Shango and Ronnie Garvin lock up. Shango shoves Garvin back; but Ronnie quickly charges back and takes him down with a snapmare. Locking him in a rear chin lock, Garvin applies the pressure until Papa Shango fights his way up onto his knees and turning about jabs Ronnie in the gut. Hopping back up to his feet Papa Shango begins hammering on The Rugged One who fires back until The Soul Stealer whips him across the ring and takes him down hard with a running big boot. Going for the cover, Shango gets a two count before Garvin kicks out. Getting to his feet Papa Shango begins chanting voodoo about the ring before picking Garvin up to his feet. Ronnie has recovered in the meantime and gives a few quick jabs to Shango's gut before circling behind him and kicking his legs out from under him. As Papa goes down to his knees Ronnie applies an arm wrench followed by an armbar. Shango roars in pain before crawling to his feet and stomping his way free of Garvin's clutches. Retreating into the corner, Shango catches his breath as The Rugged One charges across the ring and begins laying into him in the corner. Papa Shango however breaks free and grabbing Garvin by the head tosses him into the same corner where he nails him with hard lefts and rights. Pulling him from the corner Shango clotheslines Ronnie to the ground before lifting him back to his feet and whipping him into the ropes. On the rebound Papa Shango nails Ronnie Garvin hard with a scoop slam. He's about to make the pin when he notices a sudden disturbance on the outside. Brian Lawler has Brickhouse Brown down on the ground and is putting the boots to him. While both he and Danny Davis are distracted Jerry "The King" Lawler sneaks into the ring behind them and brains Shango from behind with his crown! Garvin is now back up on one knee as Jerry slides out of the ring. Grabbing the voodoo priest by the knee as he holds his head in pain; Ronnie Garvin puts Papa Shango into the Figure four leglock. Shango howls in pain as he taps; giving Garvin the match. Rolling out of the ring Garvin takes his towel and wipes his face with it before tossing it into the ring. Ronnie and Jerry eye one another warily for a moment before they shake hands and Ronnie makes his exit. Jerry has other plans however and takes the microphone from Beulah.
Lawler: Let me tell you something here Papa Shango. A couple weeks ago you thought you were going to make some sort of impact here at Eastern Championship Wrestling. You thought you were going to show how tough you are by targeting Jerry Lawler. Well listen here now Shango and listen good. Cause you made a big damned mistake messing with The King. I really hope that Dark Lord of yours is happy. Cause next week I'm gonna beat the crap out of you Shango. And you're gonna take that voodoo crap of yours, your stupid little cronies, that magic dunce cap like wearing; and you're gonna pack 'em up and go running back to him with your tail between your legs. Cause that's where I'm sending you; and no amount of smoke and mirrors hocus pocus is gonna save you this time.Okerlund: Hell ladies and gentlemen and welcome to tonight's huge Main Event here at Eastern Championship Wrestling. Before the break we heard some strong words from the recently returned Jerry "The King" Lawler directed at "The Soul Stealer" Papa Shango.
Poffo: Jerry definitely put him on notice Gene. And I think he's right. Shango may've made a big mistake here targeting Lawler. I've been in the ring with him and the one thing you don't want to do is rile up The King.
Okerlund: Certainly agree with you there. Our next bout is set to be an Intercontinental number one contender's Match. The winner here tonight will face Intercontinental Champion Rob Van Dam for the Title next week in Hampton Roads, Virginia. Any favorites here Lanny.
Poffo: Well I certainly know who yours isn't; given your bias to "The Long Island Loud-Mouth" Chris Jericho. He's a very skilled youn athlete; however Mongo Vyle is a big, tough competitor. He may be too much for Jericho here tonight.
Okerlund: So you're saying it's a toss up? I for one will be rooting for The Machiavellian Mauler; who nearly defeated the Heavyweight Champion several weeks ago.
Poffo: Luckily this isn't horse shoes.
Thunderkiss '65 by Rob Zombie hits.
McGillicutty: The following contest is set for one fall and is to determine the number one contender for the Intercontinental Championship. Introducing first making his way from Manhasset, New York at 226 lbs.; he is "The Long Island Loud-Mouth" Chris Jericho.
Jericho hops into the ring with Danny Davis as death metal assaults the arena. McGillicutty: And his opponent this evening from Hell's Kitchen, New York weighing in at 326 lbs.; he is "The Machiavellan Mauler" Mongo Vyle.Main Event # 1 Contender's Match: Chris Jericho vs. Mongo Vyle Chris Jericho and Mongo Vyle lock up. Vyle overpowers Chris initially and locks him into an armwrench. He jumps up and down to further hurt Jericho, until Chris breaks free with a kick to Vyle's gut. Taking the fight to the big man, Jericho begins hammering on Mongo whom he Irish whips into the ropes. The big man however slams into Jericho on the return sending him down to the mat where The Machiavellian Mauler begins stomping on Chris until he manages to make it to the ropes. Davis breaks them up; but once The Loud-Mouth is back up on his feet Mongo resumes the assault and hammers him into the ropes before whipping him across the ring. He looks to nail a back body drop on Jericho; but Chris stops short kicking Vyle in the face before leaping over him and grabbing his face at the same time; taking him down with a facebuster. Going for the pin Jericho gets a two count. While Vyle tries to get back to his feet, Jericho first stomps and then punches his bigger opponent before Mongo blocks him and nails him hard with a headbutt. Furious; Vyle delivers hard lefts and rights to Chris before hitting a scoop slam. Running back into the ropes; Vyle charges his downed foe and leaping up into the air connects with a huge splash. 1...2... Jericho kicks out. 3! Angered by this Mongo begins pounding the ring as Jericho rolls out and looks to recuperate on the outside. Climbing out onto the apron, Mongo leaps off and punches Jericho into the face dropping him like a fly. Lifting Chris to his feet, he runs Jericho face first into the ring post breaking him open. He then walks over to where Beulah McGillicutty is and scares her into giving up her chair. Vyle turns and begins stalking his way over to Jericho who is up on one knee holding his bloody head while Danny Davis yells at him. He desregards the ref and continues toward Jericho who leaps up and hits a dropkick on the chair, driving it into the face of the Machavellan Mauler. He staggers back and falls on his ass as Jericho revs up and charges in connecting with The Shining Wizard. He proceeds to try to lift Vyle to no avail and finally giving up rolls back inside the ring as Davis counts to 9. He restarts the count while Chris catches his breath on the inside. Vyle is still out cold. However he is looking around in a daze at 7 and somehow finds his way back inside the ring. The Long Island Loud-Mouth doesn't give him a chance to get up and running over to him connects with a jumping elbow drop before going for the pin. He doesn't even get a two count before Vyle powers out. As Mongo gets up to his knees Chris charges again only to be nailed by a spinebuster out of nowhere as Vyle leaps to his feet and uses Jericho's own momenttum against him. Going for the cover he gets another two before Jericho stubbornly stays in the match. Lifting the smaller man to his feet, Mongo begins hammering on Chris' head and back before whipping him hard into the corner. He then charges in and connects with a huge running splash before continuing to beat on him. Finally Chris manages to get some space with an elbow to The Mauler's face and hopping up onto the top turnbuckle leaps off for a huge flying dropkick; sending Mongo head over heels to the mat. Both men are down for a while before Danny begins the count. Chris makes it to his feet first and lifting Mongo to a seated position begins hitting him in the head until he picks him up to his feet. Chris stuns the crowd as he delivers a snap suplex to the larg Machiavellan Mauler. He shocks them further when he goes for another. Mongo however has other plans and counters it with a delayed suplex of his own; and rolling over onto Jericho he makes the cover. 1...2.. Jericho kicks out. Vyle doesn't have the energy for anger as both he and The Loud-Mouth struggle up to their feet. They are obviously tired as they begin going punch for punch. After a while Mongo starts getting the better of Jericho and building some momentum he begins hammering on Chris whom he whips across the ropes once more. Mongo Vyle gears up for a clothesline as Chris Jericho returns to him and swings hard just a second before Jericho leaps into the air and nails him with a jumping corkscrew roundhouse kick; dropping them both. Chris makes the cover however and gets the win.
Lights Fade.

5/18/94 - Hampton Coliseum Hampton Roads, VAOkerlund: Hello Wrestling Fans; I'm Mean Gene Okerlund joining you live tonight from the Hampton Coliseum right here in Hampton Roads, Virgiania; and this is Eastern Championship Wrestling. With me here at ringside as always is "The Genius" Lanny Poffo.
Poffo: Don't worry Gene. It's an interminable amount of time for me as well.
Okerlund: Tonight we have two major Main Event quality matches lined up as first the Intercontinental Champion "Mr. Wednesday Night" Rob Van Dam defends his Title in singles action against "The Long Island Loud-Mouth" Chris Jericho. Then in tonight's Main Event Jerry "The King" Lawler is set to settle his feud with Papa Shango once and for all.
Poffo: But first we are set for a battle middle-classers are bound to love. If you're one of those saps who like rooting for the underdog; you'll be hard pressed to pick a favorite here.
Heavy metal music sounds at Matt Borne appears on the ramp.McGillicutty: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Making his way to the ring first from Elwood City, Pennsylvania weighing 243 lbs.; he is "The Maniac" Matt Borne.
Once Borne is inside the ring with Teddy Long, The Canadian National Anthem begins and Mike Sharpe appears giving the Canadian salute.

Sharpe manages to get the upper hand and drives Borne into the corner; where they lock up and grapple until Maniac Matt rakes Sharpe's eyes. As Mike reels about in pain, Borne grabs him by the head and faceplants him into the canvas before going for the cover. He gets a two count befpre Mike fights out with an elbow to the face. Borne grabs Mike by the head as he gets to one knee; but Canada's Greatest Athlete battles back with punches to the gut as he regains his footing and grabbing Matt in a monster bearhug throws him back into the ropes where he starts hitting him with hard lefts and rights. Whipping Borne into the ropes; Iron Mike takes his head off with a huge clothesline before making the cover. He gets a near three count before Matt throws his foot over the bottom rope. Lifting him to his knees, Mike begins beating on the head and face of Matt, who pushes him back a bit before they begin trading punches and Maniac Matt ends up nailing Sharpe with an inverted atomic drop. When Mike Sharpe staggers up to his feet, Matt Borne lifts him up into the air and runs him into the corner where he powerbombs him onto the top turnbuckle. Sharpe hits it hard and bounces back into the ring where Borne hooks his leg for the three count. As Eastern Championship returns to air, Eric Bischoff is in the ring with Beulah McGillicutty as "White Train" by Tito & Tarantula is playing.Bischoff: Alright. Alright. I love you too. Now ladies and gentlemen; I don't try to come out here and hog the limelight like some other promoters. Usually if you see my face; it's all about the business. Tonight's business? Well there's quite a few new Eastern Championship t-shirts that're debuting at our stands tonight. Look at those kids. Tell your parents.
Beulah shows off several new ECW t-shirts for the crowd.Okerlund: What a shill.
Bischoff: Now if I were only out here to sell these amazing, limited edition t-shirts... Mean Gene over there? He might have a point. But no, no, no. There's quite another matter I'm out here for tonight. And that reason has something to do with Jerry "The King" Lawler. So Jerry? Come on down.
The Bill Conti Overture sounds as Jerry Lawler appears on the ramp and waves to the fans. He enters the ring and points to a Jerry Lawler t-shirt that Beulah is still holding.
Lawler: Nice shirt Eric. But I hope that's not the only reason I'm out here. I have a match to get ready for.
Bischoff: Haha. No. No King. That's not why I called you out here tonight. But it does have a little something to do with your Match here tonight. So without further adeiu; I'd also like to call out "The Soul Stealer" Papa Shango.
The lights go out as mist fills the arena. When they come back on Jerry reels about because Papa Shango is standing right behind him. The two men stare one another down.
Bischoff: Hey. Hey now. I didn't call you two down here to fight. Not yet anyway. You see? I was sitting back there at my desk thinking. Thinking Jerry Lawler versus Papa Shango. Has a nice ring to it. Jerry wants revenge because Shango put him out of action for two months. Shango wants revenge because Jery insulted Kali Ma or something. Two great competitors. Should be an amazing match. But frankly; it's missing something. And that something is this. Tonight's match; Jerry Lawler versus Papa Shango; to determine the number one contender for the Eastern Heavyweight Championship!
Both Jerry and Shango seem to be very pleased with this turn of events in their own way.
Poffo: Tremendous news!
Okerlund: Beat me to it. But certainly this Match here tonight could have huge ramifications to the very fabric of Eastern Championship Wrestling. Poffo: Indeed. Just to think of what we all might be subjected to with Papa Shango as World Champion makes me shudder.
"Another One Bites the Dust" by Queen plays.
McGillicutty: The following Tag-Team contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first weighing a combined total of 557 lbs.; they are the tandem of Deep South; The Junkyard Dog and "Captain Redneck" Dick Murdoch.

McGillicutty: And introducing their opponents this evening weighing in at a combined 430 lbs.; they are Devon and Spike Hughes; The Hughes Brothers.
Devon: Testify!
Tag-Team Match: Deep South vs. The Hughes Brothers
Devon Hughes and Junkyard Dog start things off as referee S.D. Jones starts the match. The two men lock up and Devon gets an early advantage with an armwrench until JYD kicks him in the gut to escape. Junkyard immediately begins beating on his younger opponent as the two men go at it battling across the ring. The Dog Irish whips Hughes across the ring and falls victim to a spinning flying elbow courtesy of Devon. Back up on his feet Devon hits a delayed elbowdrop before going for the cover; which JYD kicks out of at two. Keeping on Junkyard as he climbs to one knee, Hughes hammers on The Dog's head an neck until JYD grabs Devon by the head and treats him to a jawbreaker of his own. Getting up on his feet, Junkyard stomps Devon a bit softening him up before using the ropes for momentum as a nails a diving headbutt. He is a bit dazed afterward, but makes the cover on Devon; getting a two count. Back on his feet JYD barks at Devon for a bit before lifting him for a vertical suplex; which fails when Hughes hops out of his arms and lands on his feet behind The Dog. As JYD turns about; Devon nails a quick superkick to the chest planting JYD on his ass before he tages in Spike Hughes who comes in running. Spike immediately land a diving elbow on JYD and nearly picks up the pin when Dick Murdoch enters illegally and kicks him off his partner. This gives JYD enough time to tag Murdoch in. Charging at Spike; Rick Murdoch begins pounding the smaller man mercilessly, before whipping him into the ropes and hitting a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. Making the cover he gets a near three count on Spike. Lifting Hughes to his feet, Murdoch hammers on his back and is about to powerslam him when Spike kicks him in the gut and proceeds to nail him with a dropkick. On the attack Spike starts chopping Murdoch across the ring and goes to Irish whip him. Captain Redneck however reverses the move and sends Spike across the ring instead. On the rebound Spike hits a jumping shoulderblock. Dick Murdoch stumbles backward towards the ropes as Spike Hughes grabs the bigger man by the head and runs to the corner where he hits a corner sprinboard cutter off the second turnbuckle; laying The Captain out. Quickly making the cover he gets the win.
Okerlund: Welcome back to Eastern Championship Wrestling. Before the break we witnessed some great Tag-Team action as The Hughes Brothers defeated Deep South. Surely Spike Hyson's critics will be silenced now.
Poffo: Matt Hyson is a ref. Nothing more. Okerlund: Or maybe not.
Circus music hits as Doink the Clown comes out onto the ramp with his pet monkey. Poffo: Of course; should Matt Hyson permanently injure this twit; he'd be okay in my book.
Okerlund: But only okay. Poffo: Don't expect miracles Gene.
McGillicutty: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Making his way to the ring at 243 lbs. and recently rejected by Cirque du Soleil; he is The Master of Puppet Shadows; Doink the Clown.
As Doink gets into the ring with Danny Davis, "Ich tu der weh" by Rammstein hits and The Bron Von Raschke emerges onto the ramp with The Blitzkrieg.
McGillicutty: And his opponent hailing from The Republic of Germany and weighing in at 323 lbs.; accompanied to the ring by The Baron Von Raschke; he is "Mangler's Monster" The Blitzkrieg.
Once inside the ring; The Baron snatches the microphone from Beulah.
Raschke: Danke Fraulein. Herr Doink. Herr Doink; much like The Blitzkrieg you wear a mask. A mask of paint sure, but a mask nevertheless. And while you and The Blitzkrieg share this one trait; it is right there the similarity ends. The Blitzkrieg hides his face from the public because it's a hideous mask of pain and suffersing. A twisted visage that will turn off the world, reduce buldings to ash; and unseat governments. The Blitzkrieg keeps his face hidden not to save himself from ridicule; but to save the world from him. You on the otherhand oh lowest of lows. You hide behind comedy. A fool. A buffoon. You hide your ineptitiude behind a silly grin. You hope to shield the world from what you really are. A loser. A vile trickster. A panderer to children. Tonight The Blitzkrieg has called you to this ring. Because of fools like you; The Blitzkrieg has not been given the respect deserved to him. And he does not forget. Will will never forget. Your part in his loss of his rightful Championhip. The Intercontinental Title that was deservedly his at King of the Mountain. And it's for that disrespect we're here tonight. For you shall just be the first to fall to The Blitzkrieg's revenge. Spike Hughes thinks he can hide behind a new moniker and Rob Van Dam behind his Title. But nothing, nothing will stop this monster's path of destruction. His crusade for chaos that begins right here with you tonight. As The Blitzkrieg tears right through you.
Match: Doink the Clown vs. The Blitzkrieg
When Davis starts the match, Doink the Clown points to the flower on his lapel and when The Blitzkrieg hunches to look at it Doink squirts him with water. The angers the big man and The Blitzkrieg sends Doink head over heels with a clothesline. He then stomps Doink for a bit before lifting him up and whips him hard into the corner. He charges hard with a big splash and then proceeds to hammer Doink. When Davis yells at The Blitzkrieg, the big man reulctantly lets go off Doink who falls face first to the ground. Dragging The Clown to the center of the ring; The Blitzkrieg nails Piledriver. Doink the Clown is obviously out, but The Blitzkrieg lifts him to his feet and hits him with a powerbomb before stepping on him for the pin. The Baron Von Raschke then enters the ring and instructs his charge to lift Doink to his feet. When Davis objects, The Blitzkrieg pushes him across the ring and into the ropes. He then picks up Doink's limp body in a full nelson and The Baron Von Rascke uses The Brian Claw on him. Doink awakens upon contact with the Claw and screams in pain before both men release him and leave him writhing in pain in the middle of the ring. The Blitzkrieg and The Baron then exit the ring and start up the ramp when Raschke spies Beulah with Doink's pet monkey. He heads over to her with an evil look on his face. He grabs the orangutan away from her and when she puts up a fight; The Baron slaps her down to the floor. He then sadistically puts the monkey in The Brian Claw as Eastern Championship goes to...
Okerlund: Welcome back Wrestling Fans to Eastern Championship Wrestling here on our home channel TNN The Nashville Network. Before the break we witnessed a dispicable spectacle from The Blitzkrieg and The Baron Von Raschke.
Poffo: I was kind've happy to see them annihilate Doink honestly.
Okerlund: And what did that ape do Lanny? That was uncalled for. The Baron is a disgusting human being.
Poffo: Indeed Gene. However I think Von Raschke likes it that way. Enough monkey business though. I have to say I'm really looking forward to our next match. Two great athletes set to compete for the Intercontinental Title as Champion Rob Van Dam defends against Chris Jericho. This could very well be the next Steamboat/Savage match up we're looking at here tonight.
Okerlund: That was certainly a great rivalry. And both RVD and Jericho have the potential for greatness here at Eastern Championship. Though I will be rooting for "Mr. Wednesday Night" for sure.
Poffo: I just love unbiased journalism.
"Poundcake" by Van Halen hits.
McGillicutty: The following Match is scheduled for one fall and is for the Intercontinental Title. Introducing first weighing in at 237 lbs. from Battle Creek, Michigan; he is the Intercontinental Champion; "Mr. Wednesday Night" Rob Van Dam. Van Dam gives a few kicks before making his way down to the ring where he poses for the crowd with the belt and points to his shoulders as they chant "Rob... Van... Dam!" Thunderkiss '65 by White Zombie sounds as Chris Jericho emerges from the back and swaggers down to the ring.
McGillicutty: And his challenger this evening weighing 226 lbs. from Manhasset, New York; he is "The Long Island Loud-Mouth" Chris Jericho. Jericho enters the ring and already has a microphone in his hand. Jericho: Well. Well. So the inevitable has finally occured. Finally! Everyone's hero.
Chris Jericho. "The Looong Islan Loud-Mouth" Chris Jericho is in the ring. Title shot in hand. Title in hand. Cause that belt you've been placeholding for me? That Title that belongs around this here waist; is about to end up where it belongs. Around the waste of a true champion of the people; Chris Jericho. Cause... Rob; you might call yourself "Mr. Wednesday Night;" But let me tell you something here and now. And get it straight. Chris Jericho is "Mr. Every Night."
RVD: That's cool man. I can dig it. Monday at your nine to five job you get your boss some coffee. Good job. Milk. Two sugars. Tuesday you file some typed up that stellar memo... Thursday you bought the whole office donuts. Good man. Boston Creme. My fave. Friday you went out for some drinks. Impressed the most ladies. Saturday. Out on th golf course? Amazing hole in one. Sunday. Best voice in your choir. Cool man. Very cool. But... That still makes you "Mr. Every OTHER night." Cause on Wednesday? You're looking at the best in-ring competitor out there. The whole damned show. "Mr. Wednesday Night" Rob... Van... Dam.
Jericho looks around annoyed as the audience chants RVD's name. Rob just shrugs at Jericho.
RVD: You know what I think... Chris? I think you talk too damn much. At this point Chris clubs RVD over the head with his microphone.
Jericho: It doesn't matter what you think!
Intercontinental Title Match: Rob Van Dam vs. Chris Jericho
Long grabs the microphone from Chris Jericho as Rob Van Dam falls back into the ropes. Undaunted, Jericho beats on RVD who falls to the floor where he continues to stomp on him. Lifting Rob back to his feet, The Long Island Loud-Mouth beats on RVD's head before lifting him up and dropping him down on the ropes; and keeping hold of him bounces off for a suplex. Going for the cover he gets a two count. When Jericho reaches for Van Dam's legs however he receives a kick in the face and RVD kip ups to a crouched position. Leaping up Rob nails a roundhouse kick before he batters Chris into the ropes and whips Jericho into the ropes; nailing him with a flyinf crossbody on the rebound. Going for the cover, RVD gets a two count. Lifting Jericho to his feet, RVD punches him several times in the face while applies an armwrench. He then tumbles over him and rolls him up for a two count which Jericho reveres to an inside cradle for a two count; which Rob then reverses again for a two count. The two young men leap up to their feet and charge one another, Jericho getting hit with a hiptoss. When Van Dam attempts to lift hims, Jericho takes him down with an armdrag and locks in an armbar. Rob writhes in pain as he reaches for the ropes to no avail. Finally RVD manages to roll backwards and hopping up to his feet attempts to kick Jericho in the head. Chris however ducks under and grabs Rob up in a fireman's carry slam. Running to the ropes he hits the springboard moonsault and makes the cover. 1...2... Van Dam kicks out. On one knee Chris holds Rob down in a headlock while he hammers on his head. It looks like he is about to fade just seconds before RVD gets a second wind and fights his way up to his feet, removing Jericho with a snapmare, followed by a dropkick to the back of the head. Jericho is down as Rob goes for the Rolling Thunder. Just as he is about to connect however, Jericho gets his knees up and drives them hard into Rob's back. Getting to his feet Jericho grabs Van Dam by the legs and looks to lock him into the elevated Boston Crab. Seeing what is about to happen, Rob pushes Jericho with his feet, kicking his ass into the ropes. Leaping up to his own feet RVD rushes toward Jericho who is draped over the second rope and connects with a tiger feint kick; sending him back inside the ring. Climbing the ringpost while stil on the outside; Rob Van Dam leaps off hitting the Five-Star Frog Splash for the win. RVD is then handed his Title by Beulah McGillicutty and he raises it into the air for the fans, before dropping and rolling out of the ring. While Van Dam makes his exit; Chris Jericho recovers and sits up pounding the mat in defeat.
Poffo: Looks like you got your wish Gene.
Okerlund: Wait. What's this?!
Suddenly from out of the crowd Ronnie Garvin climbs over the barricade and into the ring. He has his towel in his hand. Jericho has no time to react as Garvin whips him in the face with the towel. As Jericho cries out; Garvin wraps the towel around The Long Island Loud-Mouth's neck and begins to choke him out. Ronnie gives Davis a dirty look when he tries to break it up; but after several seconds he relents and lets the ref escort Jericho out of the ring while he holds his neck and tries to catch his breath.
As Eastern Championship Wrestling returns Ronnie Garvin is still pacing about the ring.
Okerlund: Hello ladies and gentlemen. Before the break "The Rugged One" Ronnie Garvin attacked "The Long Island Loud-Mouth" Chris Jericho following his losing effort in an Intercontinental Title Match with "Mr. Wednesday Night" Rob Van Dam. Garvin has still not left the ring.
Poffo: To be fair Gene. He is scheduled for the next match. McGillicutty: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first from Montreal, Quebe---
At this point Garvin takes the mic from Beulah's hands.
Garvin: No need to introduce me sweetheart. Everyone in this here arena knows who Ron Garvin is. And after that attack I'm sure Chris Jericho knows too. Now some of your memories may be a little hazy and you may be wondering just why Ronnie Garvin attacked that Loud-Mouth here tonight. Now it had nothing to do with business. This thing between me and Chris Jericho is personal. Let me tell you something. Ronnie Garvin he wins matches and every once in a while he loses one. But one thing Ronnie Garvin doesn't do is be a sore loser. And that's just what Chris Jericho is. A big baby. See; a little over a month ago Ron Garvin defeated Chris Jericho dead to rights. However when he went to exit that ring; that coward Jericho; well he attacked me from behind. Choked me with my own towel... And he thought he got away with it too. Cause I let 'im. See I didn't just want to get some revenge on Jericho. I wanted to embarrass him when everyone was looking. So I waited. And sure enough tonight; he had a Title Match. Now I didn't interfere during the Match. I have too much respect for this here business; for the Championship Gold; for that. No. I waited. I lay in wait and when the time was right I struck. Just like I'm going to do in this very ring tonight. Chris Jericho; take notes. Cause you and Ronnie Garvin aren't done. Not by a longshot.
He hands the microphone back to Beulah and Irish Folk music is heard as Erin O'Grady appears on the ramp and heads down to the ring, throwing gold coins to the crowd from his little cauldron.
McGillicutty: And his opponent this evening hailing from Dublin, Ireland weighing 212 lbs.; "The Leprechaun" Erin O'Grady.
Match: Ronnie Garvin vs. Erin O'Grady
Ronnie Garvin and Erin O'Grady lock up as referee S.D. Jones starts the match. Garvin catches Erin's left arm in an armwrench before elbowing the same arm and then takes Erin down with an armdrag. O'Grady howls in pain as The Rugged One locks in an armbar. Rolling towards Ronnie, Erin begins beating the old vet on the head and breaks free. Dragging himself to his feet, O'Grady is immediately attacked by Garvin who beats him into the ropes and Irish whips him across the ring. On the return however The Leprechaun nails Garvin with a huge dropkick. It's obvious his arm still hurts however and Erin is unable to make the cover. Getting to his feet instead, Erin hits a knee drop and hits Ronnie with his good arm as he gets back to his feet. Garvin however battles back and soon is overpowering the injured O'Grady whom he takes down with a snapmare before hitting an elbow drop to Erin's injurd arm. Standing above his prey Garvin stomps on Erin's arm mercilessly. Getting down on the mat with Erin O'Grady; Ronnie Garvin grabs the injured arm and locks it in the Anaconda Vice; causing The Leprechaun to tap in seconds giving Garvin the match. Walking over to his corner Garvin grabs the same towel he choked Jericho with and wipes his face with it before throwing it on top of his defeated opponent.
McGillicutty: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first from Vancouver, British, Columbia, Canada weighing 150 lbs.; Velvet McIntyre. Velvet enters the ring with Danny Davis as "Hot Stuff" by Donna Summers begins.
McGillicutty: And her opponent accompanied to the ring by the Eastern Heavyweight Champion of the Word "Macho Man" Randy Savage; weighing 130 lbs. from Fort Campbell, Kentucky; she is "Hot Stuff" Debbie Combs.
While Debbie enters ther ring, Macho Man pulls up a chair to the announcing table and stares down Lanny Poffo.
Savage: Poffo.
Poffo: Savage.
Okerlund: Randy Savage. Welcome to ringside. What brings you down here?
Savage: Thanks Gene. The Macho Man is welcome everywhere he goes dig. That little lady there is what brings me down to this here ring yeah. Macho Man has many enemies. Looking to to capitalize. Which makes Debbie a target. Yeah. Macho Man has to protect all his prizes. Like this here Championship Gold. Ooooh yeah.
Match: Velvet McIntyre vs. Debbie Combs
Velvet McIntyre and debbie Combs lock up. Combs immediately gets behind McIntyre and hits a German suplex which she bridges for a two count. As Velvet sits up in pain Debbie runs in and kicks her in the face before getting down on one knee and hammering her in the head. Lifting her to her feet, Debbie is surprised when McIntyre rolls her up with an inside cradle for a two count. Jumping back to her feet she battles Velvet who is now back up on one knee and leaping up connects with a lariat takedown. She and Debbie then claw and pull at one another on the floor before Davis breaks them up; sending them to opposite sides of the ring where the women glare at each other. Danny gives them the signal and the two women charges across the ring at one another, Velvet getting the upperhand as the go punch for punch; before she whips Combs across the ring and takes herdown with a hurrancanrana. Popping back up to her feet Velvet connects with a jumping guillotine legdrop before making the cover. She gets a two count before Debbie kicks out. Picking her up Velvet McIntyre hammers on the back and head of Hot Stuff before Debbie Combs pushes her away and nails her with a swinging neckbreaker for the win. Savage immediately enters the ring and holds Debbie's hand up in victory. Just then the big screen flickers to life. And on the screen is Arn Anderson. Anderson is standing in the middle of a wrestling ring inside a gym with Miss Elizabeth.
Anderson: Hello Gene. Lanny. Just wanted to check in with you guys and the fans tonight. Give you an update on my condition. Well needless to say it's been a while since I've stepped foot inside that squared circle thanks to "The Macho Man" Randy Savage. And the doctors are saying I'm still not up to par. Over the last couple weeks though I've been working with my little friend Scott Taylor. Scott? Come say hello to the fans.
Scott Taylor enters the picture from the right and waves.
Taylor: Hello everyone.
Anderson: See Scott's been working with me in this here ring. Polishing off a little ring rust. Helping me get into shape. Very grateful Scott.
Taylor: Don't mention it.
Anderson: Now me and Scott have been sparring most of today. And we've got a little move I'd like to show "The Macho Man." Scott?
Arn Anderson and Scott Taylor lock up and after a brief struggle Arn whips Scott across the ring and nails him with a spinebuster. Anderson then rejoins Elizabeth.
Anderson: Honestly Gene. Ol' AA he's feeling pretty good. Been alot of work. And still have a bit more to go. But Randy? See you soon. Champ.
Anderson and Elizabeth wave mockingly at the camera and Savage looks very flustered as Eastern Championship goes to...
The Bill Conti Overture is heard as Eastern Championship returns to air. Jerry Lawler appears on the ramp and waves to the crowd.
Okerlund: Hello ladies and gentlemen and welcome to tonight's big Main Event here at Eastern Championship as Jerry "The King" lawler gets set to take on "The Soul Stealer" Papa Shango in a number one contender's Match for the Eastern Heavyweight Championship. For those just joining us; before the break we heard from "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson who put Eastern Heavyweight Champ "Macho Man" Randy Savage on notice. He will be returning sooner than we thought. Good to hear.
Poffo: What a bag of hot air that guy is.
McGillicutty: The following Match is scheduled for one fall and is to determine the number one contender for the Eastern Heavyweight Championship of the World. Introducing firs from Memphis, Tennessee weighing in at 243 lbs.; he is "The King" Jerry Lawler.
Lawler gets inside the ring and shakes hands with Teddy Long before waving to the fans. Just then voodoo music plays as the lights go dark and mist fills the arena. Papa Shango appears on the ramp with Manami Toyota.
McGillicutty: And now introducing his opponent accompanied by Manami Toyota; weighing 320 lbs. from The Bowels of Hell; he is "The Soul Stealer" Papa Shango.
Main Event # 1 Contender's Match: Jerry Lawler vs. Papa Shango
At the start of the match Jerry Lawler looks to lock up with Papa Shango; but the big man smacks him. The King looks stunned and after several seconds comes flying at Shango and begins wailing on him. Beating the voodoo priest into the ropes; Lawler whips him across the ring and hits a belly to belly suplex. Stalking Shango, Lawler begins strategically putting the boots to his opponent. Shango isn't beaten yet and lunges up at Jerry connects with a huge uppercut that staggers him before he takes The King down to the canvas with a big boot. Lifting Jerry to a seated position Shango grabs his arms and pulls them back as he drives his knee into the spine of Lawler. Jerry cries out in pain and is unable to break free for several moments before he fights his way up to his knees and then his feet. The two men test one another strength as Lawler turns himself about but it's obvious Shango has the upper hand when Jerry grits his teeth and kicks the big man in the gut before nailing him with a DDT. Going for the cover he gets a two count. Back on his feet Lawler lowers a strap on his singlet while he waits for Shango to get to his feet. Grabbing Shango from behind it appears he is going for a piledriver when out of nowhere Shango's pet crow swoops down at Lawler from the rafters. While Jerry retreats; The Soul Stealer escapes to the other side of the ring to regain his breath and charges The King who is now in the corner with a running body avalanche. He then begins hammering on Jerry's head and chops his chest before whipping him hard into the opposing corner. Running at Jerry Lawler again; Papa Shango conects with a second avalanche and scopping him up into the air nails him with an inverted shoulderbreaker for the pin. As Teddy holds his hand up in victory, his pet crow returns and perches itself on Shango's extended hand.
Lights Fade.

"Here I Am Rocking Like a Hurricane" by The Scorpions plays as "Rock 'N Roll" Buck Zumhoff appears on the set of a brightly colored talk show set with a Rock 'N Roll/Wrestling theme.
He boogies his way out and high fives several cheering kids and their parents before getting on the stage before them. He then introduces himself as AWA Legend and former Lightweight Champion; and wrestling's one and only true "Rock 'N Roller" Buck Zumhoff!'
He then welcomes the kids at home to the inaugural episode of ECW Slammin' Saturdays right here on Nashville Saturday Mornings and hopes that the kids enjoyed The Smurfs and reminds them that coming on after Slammin' Saturdays its regular timeslot will be the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. He then does a few crappy karate moves that the kids eat up. Buck then asks the kids if they like wrestling and they cheer. He then tells them to get set with a great match featuring a favorite of young fans everywhere; Doink the Clown!
Doink the Clown vs. Ace Darling
We're taken to a pre-recored match wherein Doink the Clown comes down to the ring first with his pet monkey; whom referee Teddy Long won't let inside the ring. Ace Darling then enters to little fanfare and when Doink reaches out to shake his hand he takes it. But the hand comes off! Doink pops his real hand from his sleeve and waves playfully at Ace who begrudgingly laughs a bit. When he lets his guard down however; Doink punches him in the face! The match starts and Darling puts up a decent fight against Doink; but in the end loses the match via the Whoopie Cushion.
COMMERCIAL BREAK
Arn Anderson reminds us that while the letter A is for Apples and Armbars; the only word that starts with AA is Arn Anderson. Thanks Arn.
Buck Zumhoff then welcomes the kids at home back to the show. He talks about what an incredible win that was for Doink before the break and that Doink the Clown is scheduled to appear live on ECW Slammin' Saturday next week. He says that he isn't sure if Doink will make it however after the way The Blitzkrieg manhandled the Clown on Eastern Championship earlier this week. He then has several kids come up from the audience and "Boogie Oogie Oogie" by A Taste of Honey plays while he teaches them to disco dance.
Zumhoff then says that he knows these kids like Wrestling; but do they love Rock'N Roll as much as "The Rock 'N Roller" Buck Zumhoff himself? He then sends us to a music video featuring his own entrance music.
Scorpions - Rock You Like A Hurricane (PCM Version) powered by Aeva
"Here I Am Rockin' Like A Hurricane" by The Scoprions plays in full before we're taken to another...
COMMERCIAL BREAK
Finally Buck Zumhoff says that time is almost up for this week's show and that it's now time for Slammin' Saturdays Main Event feature; the Wrestling Rewind. He says that this week's Rewind is from back on December 29th of last year when "Macho Man" Randy Savage and "Ravishing" Rick Rude fought to determine the first ever Eastern Heavyweight Champion.
12/29/93 Main Event for the Eastern Heavyweight Championship - Randy Savage vs. Rick Rude
Randy Savage gets back into the ring and locks up with Rick Rude as referee Teddy Long begins the match. It's obvious just from this initial test of strength that Rude is in pain and Macho Man is ready to take full advantage as he pulls Rude close and knees him repeatedly in the ribs; sending him staggering. Chasing after him Savage hits Rude with an atomic drop; followed by a scoop slam as The Ravishing One turns toward him. Going for the pin The Macho Man gets a two count and complains to Long about a slow count. Rude has gained a bit of distance by rolling away and getting to his feet charges Savage while the Macho Man is still on his knees; taking him to the mat with a flying clothesline. On the floor Rude begins wailing on his opponent but Randy rakes Rick's eyes to escape. Crawling away on his hands an knees; Rude faces a new assault as Savage back on his feet begins stomping on Rick's back; finishing with an elbow drop to Rude's back. Rolling the hurt man over; Rude gets another two count and once again begins arguing with Teddy over the count. Savage is to busy arguing to see that Rude is back on his feet and grabbing his opponent; nails The Macho Man with the Rude Awakening. Going for the cover Rude gets a two count before Savage powers out. Randy is up first as Rick struggles up to one knee and begins trading punches with Savage. With a sudden burst burst of energy Rude lunges up; lifting a surprised Randy Savage up into the air and slams him down into the mat. Going for the pin Rick scores another two count. He is unable to capitalize further however as the pain in his ribs keeps him on the floor with Savage. Finally after regaining his wind The Macho Man rolls out of the ring and begins circling as Rude also slowly gets to his feet inside the ring. Showing off for a bit taunting Rude; Savage climbs up the turnbuckle. Macho man stays up top a little too long however as Rude runs up the turnbuckle and tosses Savage back down to the mat before falling backwards into the ring himself. The first to recover; Randy tries to limply cover Rude draping his arm over him; but only gets a one count before Rude counters in a desperate armbar. Randy screams in pain but inches his way to the rope getting Long to break them up. Savage now uses the ropes to climb back up and stretches his arm out before he starts stomping on Rude's ribs again. Lifting Rude to his feet; Savage blocks most of his opponent's attempts to battle back; before power bombing him back down to the floor. Going for the pin he gets a near three count and pulls his hair in frustration before yelling at the ref yet again. After shoving Long a little Savage turns in time to receive a flying knee from Rude; who follows it up with furious punches to The Machon Man; whom he whips across the ring. Unable to stop his momentum Randy his hit with a Tornado DDT by Rude; planting him into the ground. He isn't moving as Rude goes for the pin. He just about has it when Macho Man kicks out. Both men are spent as they get to their feet sizing one another up. Rude begins the assault as the two men trade punches back and forth; Savage ending it with a hip toss; followed by a vicious kick to the ribs. Macho Man roars as he stomps about the ring and once again climbs the turnbuckle. Rude begins to stir as The Macho Man flies from the top turnbuckle executing the Savage Elbow Drop. Hooking the leg and pulling a bit on The Ravishing One's tights; Mach Man Randy Savage screams as Long counts to three and he becomes the Eastern Heavyweight Champion. Staggering to his feet Savage's hand is held high by the ref as Debbie Combs rushes down to ringside and throws herself into Savage's arms.
Lights Fade.
