Raymond Rougeau is in the back with the Canadian Heavyweight Champion Rick Martel and Chris Benoit.
Martel tells the people that he’s been working hard on retaining the title, and knows that with the constant threat from Candido, Giant Warrior, and now the mysterious Masked man. Martel mentions that he remembers what happened a couple of weeks ago, when he got hit from behind and that he will definitely use that in the ring later tonight.
Benoit mentions that he’s happy to be here teaming with Martel, but he and Benoit have not forgotten about the Tag Team Titles and they are going to get those belts sooner or later.

Raymond Rougeau is joined in the ring by Bob Armstrong.
Armstrong: Since, me and my son Scott have arrived in Canada, we’ve been asked why so angry, why are you making life so difficult for certain people? Well, the answer is pretty obvious, it’s because we are sick and tired of being taken advantage of. In 1993, I was operating the top premiere Wrestling organization in the south, Smokey Mountain Wrestling. It was a great territory where the great people of Tennessee enjoyed professional wrestling as it was meant to be showed. Then, everything came crashing down. All promotions lost money, due to all sorts of disasters.
When the new money men came in, I thought to myself. This is great, SMW will be reopening and all will be great, but NOOOOOO. The Money men decided to invest money, in this god forsaken stupid country called Canada. Then to make matters worse, you came and took away some of my great talent, like Tony Anthony, Tracey Smothers, Chris Candido, Tammy Fytch. How, the hell was I suppose to compete against this. So figured, if you can’t beat them join them and destroy them from the inside out.
So this is what I’m doing. I’m getting a group together and we are going to force this territory to move out of Canada and start showing shows to the great people of the South. We are going to bring Southern Wrestling and Southern Justice here in the CWF, and it’s all starts tonight. I’ve made multiple attempts to work with Leo Burke and Stephen Petitpas, but they do not want nothing to do with this, so that’s just fine.
CWF you better be ready for a war, cause we are here to not just revive Southern Wrestling, but to take you all out.

Raymond Rougeau in the back with CWF Commissioner Leo Burke.
Burke mentions that he’s not sure what Bob Armstrong was talking about. That he never approached the CWF about a working agreement, cause if he would have, they would have been more than happy to listen, as bringing the CWF into more homes and south of the border would be beneficial for everybody involved.
Burke concluded the interview by informing Armstrong, that his door is always open and hopes that Armstrong will meet him and they can possibly work together.

Canadian Heavyweight Champion Rick Martel & Chris Benoit Vs. Chris Candido & Masked Man (With Tammy Fytch and Bob Armstrong)
Referee: Mark Curtis
Note: Armstrong is at ringside holding the Smokey Mountain Heavyweight Title.
The action is back and forth with both teams controlling the action. Candido and the Masked man managed to cut the ring in half and do some serious damage to Chris Benoit. Both Candido and the masked man got several near falls, but Martel made the safe on a couple of them.
Candido misses a flying leg drop from the second rope, which allowed Benoit to get the hot tag to Martel. Martel comes in on fire and takes control dominating both men. Martel got a couple of close pinfalls on Candido. On a couple of occasions they appeared to be a slow count and Martel did question a couple of them.
Benoit gets back involved in the action and we’ve got all 4 men going at it in the ring. Candido is the legal man in the ring, but he and Benoit are now on the outside. Martel, has control of the Masked man, and gets him in the Boston Crab. Referee Mark Curtis tries to tell Martel that the Masked man is not the legal man. Finally Martel releases the hold and begins to argue with Curtis, as Armstrong slides the title to the Masked man. Benoit notices this and tries to cut off the Masked man, but Curtis quickly stops him and orders him to the outside, as the Masked man takes the belts and hits Martel square in the face with the belt, as Candido crawls in and makes the cover for the 3 count.
Winner: Chris Candido & Masked Man.
Following the match the Masked man and Candido disposes of Benoit and throw him in the ring post. All 4 people are now standing over a prone Rick Martel, as Armstrong presents the Smokey Mountain Heavyweight title to the Masked man, who undoes the mask and takes it off revealing.
