Hosted by Vince McMahon and Jim Ross.Your hosts for the evening are Vince McMahon and Jim Ross!!! Jim Ross says the Igloo is Red hot and sold out for Eighth Annual Summerslam!!!! Vince says tonight we will answer the question once and for all, who is the better wrestler in the Hart Family? As WWF Champion Bret “The Hitman” Hart defends the WWF Title against the 1995 King of the Ring Owen Hart!!! Also here tonight, Shawn Michaels defends the European Title against Brian Pillman!!! Razor Ramon defends the Intercontinental Title against “Stone Cold” Steve Austin!!! Jake “The Snake” Roberts and a mystery partner will challenge the Smoking Gunns for the WWF Tag Team Titles, Diesel will meet The British Bulldog in a grudge match, and a big eight man tag, The Million Dollar Corporation faces off against The Undertaker, Ahmed Johnson and The Legion of Doom!! Tonight promises to bring action as only the WWF can bring!!! As Vince and Ross talk about the matches, a familiar laugh breaks out in the Igloo, signifying that the Million Dollar Corporation is on it’s way to the ring!!!
Dibiase leads his team to the ring, former two time WWF Champion Yokozuna, Hakushi, Bam Bam Bigelow and the Million Dollar Champion Hunter Hearst Helmsley. Vince and Ross talk about how this match came to be, first showing a clip from Saturday Night’s Main Event and the casket match between Hakushi and The Undertaker, where Yokozuna made his return to the WWF by emerging from the casket to help Hakushi defeat the Undertaker, also the assault by Bam Bam Bigelow on Ahmed Johnson is shown, and Ross says as a result of that attack, Ahmed had to pull out of the King of the Ring and those injuries lead directly into Ahmed losing the Intercontinental Title and being on the shelf for several weeks.
The Road Warriors, Hawk and Animal along with Ahmed Johnson appear out of the back, and all three are wearing the spiked shoulder pads!!!! Ahmed even has his face painted like the Road Warriros!!! The Million Dollar Corporation clears the ring as the three slide in and pose on the corners!!! Then

Taker heads to the ring and rises his arms, making the lights come back on, Taker joins Ahmed and The Road Warriors in the ring as Ted Dibiase and The Million Dollar Corporation goes over strategy outside of the ring!
UNDERTAKER, AHMED JOHNSON AND THE ROAD WARRIORS W/PAUL BEARER VS. MILLION DOLLAR CHAMPION HUNTER HEARST HELMSELY, BAM BAM BIGELOW, HAKUSHI, AND YOKOZUNA W/”THE MILLION DOLLAR MAN” TED DIBIASE
A total war kicks the pay per view off in style!!! No one really is able to control the match early, and that includes the referee who has a hell of a time keeping only two people in the ring at a time! Bam Bam Bigelow gets the first pin attempt off a flying headbutt from the top rope onto Ahmed Johnson, but the Pearl River Powerhouse is able to kick out. Ahmed gets to play your face in peril as he gets beat by all four men, a couple of nearfalls almost get the Million Dollar Corporation the win, but Ahmed keeps finding ways to kick out. Ahmed finally makes a comeback after Hakushi misses a moonsault!!! Ahmed tags out to the Undertaker who clears house!!! After several minutes of insanity, the Road Warriors pick up the win for their team when they hit the Doomsday Device on HHH for the win.

Taker isn’t done with Hakushi, nor is Ahmed done with Bigelow however as those four men continue to fight around ringside! The battle is still going on when Vince sends us to the back and Todd Pettingill who is with The Hart Foundation. Owen and Pillman yuck it up about Davey not being able to finish the match Monday Night, Pillman says that HBK will pay tonight for suckering him with the Super Kick on Monday Night, and promises to bring home the European Title. Owen says tonight is the night he has waited his whole life for, his chance to show he is better than his brother Bret, and he is going to do it when he takes the WWF Title away from him and wins the Iron Man Match. Owen says the Hitman’s era is over, and it is now time for the era of The King of Harts!!!!
“Stone Cold” Steve Austin heads out to the ring for our next match and he is not in a good mood. He stops to talks some trash to some ringside fans, and also to Vince and Ross before climbing into the ring and hitting all four posts!
And here comes the Intercontinental Champion, THE BAD GUY………….RAZOR………RAMON!!!! Ramon slides out of the back and down the aisle, he climbs into the ring and tosses a toothpick at Austin, Austin flips Ramon off!!!! Ross says this promises to be a slobberknocker!!!
INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE MATCH:
“STONE COLD” STEVE AUSTIN

INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPION
RAZOR RAMON
Ramon regained the Intercontinental Title when he made a surprise return to the WWF a few weeks ago on Raw when Austin was challenging anyone and everyone to take his title away, because he didn’t want it. Austin had gone through several wrestlers until Ramon, the man he beat for his first WWF Intercontinental Title reign at Royal Rumble 1994, shocked the world and walked out to the ring. Now that he lost it, Austin wants the belt back. The two go right after each other to start, trading punches. Ramon knocks Austin down with a huge spinning haymaker that gets a two count. Belly to back suplex folds Austin up, but a cover only gets a two count as well. Ramon misses a blind charge in the corner and Austin kicks him down, stomping a mudhole in him then walking it dry. Vertical suplex from Austin followed by a pointed elbow drop off the middle turnbuckle gets a two count. Clothesline from Ramon knocks Austin for a loop. Ramon throws Austin into the ropes, Austin ducks a clothesline and connects with a Thesz Press followed by punches. Austin jumps to his feet and jawjacks, but turns around into a rising clothesline from Ramon!!! Fallaway Slam from Ramon, but Austin kicks out at two!! Austin reverses an Irish whip and catches Ramon in a Sleeper Hold. Austin almost gets the win off the sleeper but Ramon fights to his feet at the last second. Ramon breaks the sleeper hold, Ramon runs the ropes but then catches a knee to the gut from Austin!! Austin sets Ramon up on the top rope and hits a Superplex!! Austin makes a cover but Ramon somehow kicks out right before the referee counts three!!! Austin is up to his feet and is pissed!! He is stalking Ramon, yelling at Ramon to stand up!!! Ramon slowly gets to his feet, Austin goes for the kick!!! Ramon catches Austin’s foot!! Ramon spins Austin around and kicks him in the gut!!! Ramon sets Austin up for the Razor’s Edge!!! Austin backdrops out of it!!! Austin kicks Ramon in the gut, he goes for the Stunner, but Ramon pushes him off into the ropes!! Ramon connects with a kick to the gut and then hits the Razor’s Edge!!! Ramon makes the cover and gets the three count!!! Ramon retains the title!!!!

Austin is sitting in the ring in disbelief; Ramon takes the title and celebrates. Ross and Vince expect Austin to attack Ramon, but a pissed Austin just rolls out of the ring.
Vince and Ross take us back first to King of The Ring 95, we see The Bulldog getting Pillmanized by Brian Pillman, then we cut to the end of the King of the Ring Finals where Bret Hart threw in the towel for The Bulldog at the behest of Bulldog’s wife and Bret’s sister Diana while Bulldog was trapped in the Sharpshooter, then we cut to Monday Night Raw and they show us clips of the Main Event match between the teams of The British Bulldog and WWF Champion Bret Hart and Owen Hart and Brian Pillman. We see The Bulldog landing funny after a leapfrog and immediately collapsing to the mat.
Diesel heads out to the ring as Ross and Vince talk about the events that lead to this match, Diesel returned to the WWF the night after the King of the Ring and shocked the world when he came to the aid of Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels. The British Bulldog, who normally had Bret’s back but was out do to the injury he suffered at King of the Ring, didn’t trust Diesel, several miscues lead to full out brawls between the two men, and ended with Diesel challenging Bulldog to this match.
Bulldog then comes out to the ring, in street clothes and on crutches.
THE BRITISH BULLDOG VS. DIESEL
The Bulldog apologizes to all the fans, but says that he rushed himself back on Monday Night, trying to get some payback, and ended up hurting himself worse. Bulldog says that there is no way he can compete tonight. He also goes as far as to apologize to Diesel for all the miscommunication. Bulldog says he has to forfeit the match, but wants to shake Diesel’s hand. Diesel does shake Bulldog’s hand and Bulldog raises Diesel’s arm.

Vince and Ross applaud a classy act by the British Bulldog and hope to see him back in the ring soon, Vince then sends us to the back to Michael Hayes who hypes the WWF Hotline and says to call and pick option 2 in order to hear from all the winners and losers from tonight’s matches. Just then “THE MOUTH OF THE SOUTH” JIMMY HART BUMPS INTO HAYES!!!! Hayes wants to know what Jimmy Hart is doing here?!?!? Jimmy says he is back in the WWF baby!!! Hayes asks If this has anything to do with the Iron Man match later tonight, and he says it doesn’t, The Hart Foundation is in Jimmy Hart’s past daddy, and Jimmy is all about the future. Jimmy says he is on the verge of signing the biggest free agent in all of wrestling and bringing him to the WWF. When Hayes asks who it is all Jimmy Hart says is it will be a GIGANTIC signing!!!!!
Ross and Vince are shocked that Jimmy Hart is back in the WWF and wonder who he could be bringing in??
The Smoking Gunns are out of the back and heading to the ring, they look very confident for two guys who have been beaten in the past two weeks in singles matches against Jake Roberts. Vince and Ross wonder who Roberts has picked as his surprise partner.
Roberts is out next on his own, The Smoking Gunns get a good laugh, Billy gets a microphone and taunts Roberts asking where his partner is? Roberts just smiles and points to the back
IT’S THE ULTIMATE WARRIOR!!!! THE SMOKING GUNNS DO NOT LOOK VERY HAPPY ABOUT THIS TURN OF EVENTS!!

The Gunns are shocked to see Warrior, who looks great. Vince and Ross wonder if Warrior is going to be looking for some revenge after this on “Stone Cold”? Warrior beats on both members of the Smoking Gunns, tossing them around the ring and no selling everything they try to throw at him. They have an easier time with Roberts, though Roberts does get a few nearfalls, the double teaming and cheating of the Gunns allows them to take over the match. Warrior is on the apron begging for the tag as The Gunns keep Roberts trapped in the ring, even drawing the Warrior into the ring several times in order to distract the referee and allow them to double team Roberts. Roberts finally catches a break when Bart drops his head too soon and Jake catches him with a DDT out of nowhere, but Roberts is too beaten up to make a pin attempt. Roberts slowly crawls to his corner as does Bart, Bart makes the tag first, but Roberts is also able to make the tag and Warrior comes in a house of fire!!! It’s like Christmas Morning and Warrior got clotheslines for everyone!!! Warrior is pumped up as he launches Billy out of the ring with a flying shoulder tackle!!! He then press slams Bart and is about to hit the Warrior splash when Billy pulls the Warrior out of the ring!!! Warrior and Billy start fighting on the floor, while Roberts gets back into the ring and tries to DDT Bart, but Bart lowblows Roberts!!! The referee didn’t see it because he was trying to get Warrior and Billy Gunn to break up their fight!!! Bart hits a sidewinder slam on Roberts and makes the cover, referee Jimmy Cordaris turns around and makes the three count!!!

The Gunns quickly bail out of the ring as Warrior jumps back into the ring!!!! Warrior is daring the Gunns to get back in the ring as we then head to the back and Todd Pettingill who is with the WWF Champion Bret “The Hitman” Hart. Todd says Bret looks ready to go after the beating he took Monday Night. Bret says he is and that he was more upset that Davey hurt his leg again during that match than he was that they lost. Bret says Owen has been crowing over all the wins he has had over Bret in tag team matches, but Bret says none of that matters, the only thing that matters is tonight and the Iron Man Match. Bret says Owen has been claiming his whole life that he has been held down, that he is the best wrestler in the Hart Family, that he has what it takes to be a World Champion, well Bret says tonight Owen gets to put up or shut up. He tells Owen the time for talking is done, and if Owen wants to prove he is the best, then he gets his chance tonight when he faces the best there is, the best there was and the best there ever will be.
Brian Pillman is next out to the ring, accompanied by, as always, by Jim “The Anvil” Neidhardt!!! Pillman looks like a mad man as he runs and slides into the ring, only to jump back out and get into a screaming match with a Shawn Michaels fan at ringside. Ross says that Pillman isn’t right in the head.
The European Champion Shawn Michaels is out next, but HBK isn’t alone as following behind is his good buddy Diesel!!!!! Neidhardt and Pillman are not happy about this turn of events as Ross reminds us that Diesel and The Anvil had a great brawl on Raw this past Monday Night, that Diesel came out on top of.
EUROPEAN TITLE MATCH:
BRIAN PILLMAN W/JIM NEIDHARDT
VS.
THE EUROPEAN CHAMPION
SHAWN MICHAELS W/DIESEL
Shawn sends Pillman flying into the corner with a pair of rights to start. Pillman gets an armdrag and then grabs an armbar, Shawn fights to his feet. Pillman transitions into a headlock, Shawn fights it off and sends Pillman into the ropes, Shawn goes for a hip toss, but Pillman blocks it, Pillman reverses and tries for a hip toss, but Shawn blocks it, Shawn punches Pillman in the gut and then flips out of the hip toss, Pillman clothesline Shawn down hard for his troubles!! Pillman then tosses Shawn over the top rope, but Shawn skins the cat back in, Pillman turns around and almost gets knocked into next week with Sweet Chin Music, but drops to the mat at the last second and quickly rolls out of the ring!!! Pillman and Neidhardt then converse. Pillman keeps acting like he is going to get back in only to pull his head back out. Shawn has enough and chases him around the ring. Pillman almost runs into Diesel, but puts the breaks on, only to turn around and get caught by a clothesline from Shawn!!! Shawn rolls Pillman back into the ring and tries to come off the top with a ax handle, but Pillman catches him in midair with a dropkick!!!!!! Cover only gets Pillman a two count.
Pillman misses a charge in the corner, and Shawn nails Neidhardt off the apron and then back drops Pillman out!!! Shawn then follows with a tope onto both Pillman and Neidhardt!! Back in, Pillman ducks a clothesline, but gets sunset-flipped for a two count. Shawn charges Pillman and Pillman backdrops HBK over the top rope!! Shawn crashes back first onto the floor below!!!!! Pillman distracts the referee as Neidhardt whips Shawn hard into the guardrail!!! Diesel doesn't take to kindly to that and stalks Neidhardt, who leaves HBK alone. HBK slolwy rolls back into the ring and Pillman is all over him!!! Pillman hits a gourdbuster for two. He goes into the abdominal stretch, using the The Anvil for leverage, that is until Diesel breaks it up and Neidhardt takes off again. Pillman hits a tornado DDT gets two. Pillman tries to whip Shawn into the corner, but Shawn reverses and Pillman runs into the turnbuckle chest first!!! . Shawn rolls him up for two, but gets tossed to the corner and Flair Flips to the floor. Pillman then hits a plancha on Shawn!!!! Both men are out on the floor for several seconds!!! Pillman starts to stir and rolls HBK back into the ring, Pillman makes a cover and gets a two count. Pillman attempts a sunset flip from off the top ropes, but it is blocked as Shawn drops his knees on Pillman's shoulders for two, Pillman then uses his legs to pulls Shawn down into the sunset flip for two. Shawn and Pillman start trading chops as Shawn tries to make the comeback, he runs the ropes, Pillman ducks a clothesline then Pillman hits a picture perfect dropkick for two!!!! Pillman locks in the Sleeper and gets a two count, but Shawn escapes with a backdrop suplex and crawls over for two.
Shawn starts to get ALL FIRED UP and begins to make the comeback!!! The sound of knife edge chops ring out in the arena as Shawn has Pillman dazed, Pillman rakes the eyes and sends Shawn into the ropes!! Shawn ducks a clothesline, ducks a back elbow and flattens Pillman by hitting a flying forearm!!!!! KIP UP!!!! Cover gets a two count!!! Double axehandle from the top rope gets two!!! Up Yours elbow gets two!!! Shawn posts Pillman and is about to go upstairs, but gets distracted by The Anvil on the apron!!! Diesel pulls the Anvil down and now the two of them are brawling at ringside!!! Shawn turns his attention back to Pillman who comes off the top rope with a flying clothesline that connects!!! Pillman makes the cover and gets a two count!!! Pillman whips Shawn into the ropes, Shawn leapfrogs Pillman, Pillman leapfrogs Shawn, Shawn hits a crossbody and Pillman rolls through!!! Pillman grabs a HUGE handfull of tights and steals the three count!!!! Pillman has regained the European Title with a handful of tights!!!.

Pillman is estatic and snatches the title away from referee Tim White, he doesn’t have time to celebrate though as Shawn decks him with Sweet Chin Music knocking Pillman out cold!!!! HBK lays the European Title across Pillman’s chest as Diesel climbs back into the ring, Diesel and Shawn pose for the fans as The Anvil is out on the arena floor and Pillman is out cold in the ring!!!!!
Vince and Ross talk about what just happened and they don’t think the battles between HBK and Brian Pillman are over. Ross says that the time has come now however for the main event, the time for talking is over, The Iron Man match is next. And then they reshow the video from Monday Night Raw on the feud between Owen and Bret.
Jim Ross does the voice over for a piece focusing on the relationship between Bret and Owen Hart. It starts showing pictures of them as children, Ross talks about them growing up with a wrestling legend for a father, and how their family ran Stampede Wrestling in Western Canada. It was a foregone conclusion that Bret and Owen would one day be a part of the family business. Bret started wrestling in the late 70’s winning the Stampede Title on many occasions and engaging in some wars that are still talked about today with The Dynamite Kid until in 1984 the World Wrestling Federation came calling. In the WWF Bret teamed with Brother In Law Jim Neidhardt as the Hart Foundation, and found themselves at odds with The Dynamite Kid and Davey Boy Smith. Bret and The Anvil would be stalwarts of the Tag Team Title scene in the WWF winning the WWF Tag Titles two times.
Meanwhile, Owen had made his debut in Stampede, and began to have great matches of his own, it was at this time he befriended another young man who was trained by the Hart Family, Brian Pillman. Owen took on all comers and, like his brother, claimed the Stampede Title, and then like his brother the World Wrestling Federation came calling. Unlike Bret however, Owen wasn’t brought in as himself, instead he was given a mask and told to compete as the Blue Blazer, to not confuse him with his already successful brother. Perhaps there the seeds were planted for the jealousy that has taken root between the two men.
Owen would not find the same success as Bret did, even after removing the mask and trying teams with Koko B Ware and Niedhardt himself, Owen never was able to claim tag team gold, all the while Bret was climbing the ladder in the WWF claiming two Intercontinental Championships on his way to becoming the WWF Champion. Owen found Bret’s shadow to be long as people began to openly question why Bret was able to succeed in the World Wrestling Federation while Owen had not. Then both men found themselves out of the WWF in 1994, that is until Christmas Eve 1994, when Bret made his return to the WWF. Bret entered the Royal Rumble and added another accolade to his career winning the match and a shot at the WWF Title at Wrestlemania XI. As Bret prepared for his big match, Owen, with Niedhardt at his side, made his own return to the WWF. Only this time, Owen was hellbent on breaking out of his brother’s shadow. Forming his own Hart Foundation with the Anvil and long time friend Brian Pillman, Owen won the European Title, a belt Bret has yet to hold, and then went on to win the 1995 King of the Ring, much like Bret won it 1993.
Owen has even successfully pinned his brother on two separate occasions for the world to see to win tag team encounters since returning to the WWF, but none of it will mean as much as a win this Sunday Night at Summerslam would mean. Bret has to know that Owen will stop at nothing to take the WWF Title from him when they meet in the Iron Man Match. Bret will have to keep an eye out for both Brian Pillman and Jim Neidhardt, all while Bret’s own allies, The British Bulldog and Diesel will be facing each other in a match on the same show. Bret may be the most technically profound wrestler to ever hold the WWF Title, he may have more HEART than any man to ever hold the belt, but can even he survive a one hour match with all the odds stacked against him? We will find out NEXT!!!
Owen Hart is out first, and Ross and Vince are both surprised he is on his own. Owen stops at the broadcast table and says he is going to do this on his own tonight, he isn’t giving Bret the chance to have any excuses.
The WWF Champion is out next, and he looks ready to go. Bret slaps hands with several of the fans at ringside, stopping to give his glasses away to a young fan. He then climbs in the ring and poses some for the fans. He then takes his title belt off, kisses it and hands it to referee Earl Hebner.
IRON MAN MATCH

Hebner takes the title from Bret, and shows it to Owen and the crowd and then calls for the bell. Both men come out of their corners slowly, as a box appears on the bottom of the screen with a countdown timer and a falls counter. The two men circle each other before trying to tie up. Neither man is able to gain an advantage so they back away from one another. Lock up again and Owen brings Bret to the mat where they do a series of reversals, Bret has a bit of the upper hand though and Owen gets to the ropes before Owen can lock in a submission hold.
Both men to their feet they lock up again and once again Bret brings Owen to the mat!! Bret and Owen exchange holds on the mat again, and once again Bret gets the upper hand. Owen senses Bret going for the Sharpshooter Owen quickly gets to the ropes and rolls out of the ring. Owen tries to catch a breather and Bret holds the ropes open, inviting Owen back in, which enrages the challenger for the title. Owen takes his time walking around the ring, trying to break Bret’ momentum before climbing back into the ring.
Back in they tie up. Owen grabs a side headlock and brings Bret down to the mat. Owen tries to keep the pace a little slower, one where he can wear Bret down, Bret gets to his feet and tries to fire off into the ropes, but Owen holds on forcing Bret back down to the mat. Bret continues to try and fight his way out of the hold, he tries for a few pin attempts rolling Owen over onto his back, but Owen refuses to let go of the headlock and simply rolls back to a sitting position at two. Bret once again fights to his feet, and is finally able to break the headlock firing Owen into the ropes and catching him with a hip toss. Bret tries to go after Owen on the mat but Owen gets both feet up into Bret's face pushing him away. Bret charges Owen as he gets to his feet and Owen grabs a headlock takeover and once again grinds down on the Headlock on the mat.
Owen applies all his weight on Bret trying to wear him down, and keep him on the mat. Bret fights to his feet and tries to power out of the headlock, he is able to do so and has Owen in an overhead wrist lock, Bret looks to be turning the advantage to his favor when he grabs a front face lock, Bret attempts to go for a vertical suplex, but Owen blocks it and turns it into a Northern Lights Suplex with a Bridge for a two count!!! Bret quickly kicks out and grabs a rear waist lock and tries for a roll up but only gets a one count.
Both men get to their feet and Owen runs the ropes, Bret drops down and Owen runs over his body, Bret then quickly gets to his feet and catches Owen with an Arm drag that he turns into an arm bar. Bret is now the one holding Owen on the mat. Bret pulls on the arm for several minutes before dropping two knees onto Owen's arm, and then locking the arm bar back on. Owen slowly fight to his feet, both men are a a standing position when Owen, still in the arm bar, backs Bret into the ropes. He fires Bret off and the two meet with a shoulder block in the center of the ring that send Owen down to the mat, Bret runs the ropes, Owen stays down and Bret runs over his body. Owen to his feet and he gets another headlock takeover on Bret. Bret doesn't let Owen get the hold hooked in however as he quickly finds a way out of the headlock and turns it into a hammerlock on the mat.

Both men up and they lock up, Owen plants a knee in Bret's stomach doubling him over. Owen then attempts to whip Bret into the ropes, but Bret reverses it, Owen ducks a clothesline and comes back with a Spin Kick!!! The move connects and it sends Bret scrambling backward, the momentum carrying him through the ropes out of the ring. Owen wastes no time as he hits a suicide dive through the ropes onto Bret!!!!! Owen rolls Bret back into the ring, climbs to the top rope and comes off the top with a diving moonsault, but BRET GETS HIS KNEES UP!!!!!

Bret pulls Owen to his feet and grabs a headlock, but Owen fights it off and shoves Bret into the ropes, Owen tries for a backdrop, but Bret gets a sunset flip for a two count. The two brothers are quick to their feet. they meet in the center of the ring and lock up again, they jockey for position with neither man gaining the advantage, Owen finally gets it and whips Bret into the ropes Owen leapfrogs Bret, but Bret comes back with a dropkick that sends Owen out of the ring. Bret now is the one that hits the suicide dive through the ropes on Owen!!!! Bret rolls Owen back into the ring and makes the cover, but only gets a two count. Bret then goes to work, bulldog headlock gets a two count, vertical suplex followed by pointed elbow off the middle rope gets a two count. Side Russian Legsweep gets a two count. Bret tries to keep pouring it on, but Owen puts a stop to the onslaught with an Enziguri!!!!
Owen wastes no time and quickly puts the boots to Bret kicking him outside of the ring Owen quickly follows Bret to the floor. Bret tries to battle back, but a mean streak has been awoken inside Owen and he will not let up. He pulls Bret to his feet and tries to whip him hard into the corner post Bret's shoulder crashing hard into it. A sly grin crosses Owen's face as he grabs him and rolls him back into the ring. Owen abandons working over Bret's neck and goes straight to the arm and shoulder, the same one that cracked into the post.
Owen begins to systematically take Bret's arm apart. Bret is on the mat in pain as Owen locks on a Fujiwara Arm bar!!! Owen is pulling back as hard as he can on the arm and Bret doesn't look to be in any condition to fight it, but he tries. Referee Earl Hebner continues to ask Bret if he gives up, but Bret refuses, trying to inch over to the ropes. Against all odds Bret reaches the ropes and Earl Hebner calls for the break, Owen waits until Hebner reaches four in his count before breaking.
Bret is slow to rise to his feet, Owen on the other hand pops right up, smelling blood Owen is posed for the kill. Bret turns into Owen and Owen drops him with a belly to belly suplex.

Owen gets to his feet and argues with Hebner, he is showing three fingers and yelling at Hebner, but Hebner is saying it was only two!! This gives Bret the chance to roll Owen up for a two count!!! . Owen gets to his feet quickly and clotheslines Bret down!!! Owen then goes right for his prey. Bret refuses to go down without a fight however and soon the two men are trading chops in the center of the ring, Bret using his one good arm. Owen gets the advantage and back Bret into the ropes, he whips him off and grabs a deep arm drag and transitisons it into another Fujiwara Armbar!!!! The pain is etched in Bret's face as Owen wrenches back.
Bret fights and fights, with the crowd chanting for the Hitman, Bret’s adrenaline is starting to run, he is doing everything he can to reach the ropes, Owen does everything he can to keep the Arm bar locked in but Bret finds a way to reach the ropes and force the break!!!! Owen tries to jump back on Bret, but Bret fights him off!!! Bret is in full comeback mode firing off chops as he rises to his feet forcing Owen back!!!!! Bret continues to fire off chops and punches much to the crowds delight. Owen tries to cut Bret's comeback short by putting a thumb in his eye but when he tries to whip Bret into the ropes Bret reverses it and send Owen high in the air and then to the mat with a High Back Drop. Bret is standing telling Owen to get up, Owen does and the two grapplers go toe to toe in the center of the ring with hard chops and punches that echo throughout the arena!!!! , Bret gets the advantage and tries to whip Owen into the ropes, Owen reverses it and catches Bret with a Sleeper Hold!!! Bret starts to fade, but then at the last second fights back!!!
Owen is struggling to keep Bret contained in the hold, Bret fires two elbows into Owen's side forcing he break, Bret sends Owen into the ropes and catches him with a Sleeper Hold of his own, but Bret adds to it and wraps his legs around Owen's body g them both to the mat!!! Bret holds the Sleeper and Body Scissors in tight as Earl Hebner is checking with Owen, Owen refuses to give up but then stops answering Hebner. Hebner lifts Owen's arm and it falls once, he lifts it again and it falls a second time. If it falls this time Owen loses a fall!!!!! . Before Hebner can lift the arm for a third time
BRIAN PILLMAN AND JIM NEIDHARDT RUN OUT OF THE BACK!!!!They jump on the apron distracting the referee and forcing Bret to break the hold, Bret comes over and takes a swing at Pillman knocking him off the apron, before he can take one at The Anvil, Owen grabs a rear waistlock on Bret, pops the hips and hits a German Suplex!!! Owen bridges!!!!

Ross says Owen can now lay back and just go on the defensive, he doesn’t have to pin Bret again, he just has to outlast the next 30 minutes without getting pinned himself and he’ll become the WWF Champion!!! Bret is angry and knows that he is in danger of losing his title now! Owen is jumping up and down celebrating, but Bret isn’t about to let up, and takes the fight right at Owen!!!! Owen rushes at Bret, but Bret backdrops Owen out of the ring!!! Pescado by Bret, but he lands wrong and hurts his own knee!!! Owen is cranking back on the move, trying to draw a submission from Bret, but Bret is doing everything he can to fight the hold. Bret shoulders end up on the mat several times, and Owen draws several two counts from it, but Bret keeps getting his shoulder up at the last second! Bret finally reaches the ropes and breaks the hold. Owen is like a shark to blood, and refuses to let up, he quickly attempts another dragon leg screw, but Bret takes a page out of Owen's playbook and connects with an Enzuigiri of his own!!! Bret is slow to get up, he pulls Owen up by his hair and attempts to whip him into the corner, Owen reverses it and sends Bret into the corner! Owen charges and catches both of Bret's boots flush to the mush!!! Bret goes for a victory roll, but Owen reverses the momentum and lies down on top for the pin attempt!!!

Earl Hebner turns his attention from the match to Pillman, Neidhardt then jumps in the ring and clotheslines Bret from behind, breaking the Sharpshooter!!!! Neidhardt rolls out of the ring as Pillman drops off the apron!!! Hebner turns to see both Bret and Owen out on the mat! He looks at Pillman, he looks at Anvil
THEN HEBNER ORDERS THEM AWAY FROM RINGSIDE!!!! HEBNER HAS EJECTED THE HART FOUNDATION!!!!Pillman and Neidhardt are arguing it, but security rushes out to escort the two to the back, Pillman is yelling at the security guards daring them to hit him cause he’ll sue!!!! Back in the ring, Owen is the first to stir and drapes an arm across Bret’s chest!!!
