An opening music video showcasing all the wrestlers in tonight’s show set to RUN DMC’S DOWN WITH THE KING!
Your hosts for the evening are Jim Ross and Bobby “The Brain” Heenan!!! Jim Ross says the Boston Garden is red hot and sold out!!! He welcomes everyone to the final WWF Show here in Boston Garden!!! Tonight not only will be crown a new King of the Ring, but The Godwinns try to take the WWF Tag Titles back from The Smoking Gunns, then the big one, the WWF Title will be on the line when Bret “The Hitman” Hart puts it on the line against “Stone Cold” Steve Austin!!! Ross and Heenan then run down what happened to Ahmed Johnson and how he was not medically cleared to take part in tonight’s tournament and has been replaced by The Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels! Ross and Heenan are then interrupted as the familiar laugh of Ted Dibiase rings out in the arena and the music starts to bring out Hunter Hearst Helmsley!!!

Hunter and Dibiase protested this match, Ahmed Johnson was supposed to face Hunter in the opening round, but an attack from Million Dollar Corporation Member Bam Bam Bigelow led to Ahmed suffering a Kidney injury and forced him out of the tournament. Hunter and Dibiase felt Hunter should receive a bye into the next round but the WWF disagreed and awarded the spot in the King of the Ring to the Heartbreak Kid! Hunter and Shawn trade holds early, with neither getting an advantage until Shawn nails Hunter with a dropkick then picks up a 2 count off a teardrop suplex.
Shawn drops his head too early after whipping Hunter into the ropes and eats a knee to the face, Hunter then nails HBK with the Flair Knee Drop for a two count. Hunter works Shawn over in the corner then hits a hangman’s neckbreaker out the corner for another two count!!! Hunter tries to throw Shawn out of the ring over the top, but Shawn skins the cat!!! Shawn charges Hunter, ducks a clothesline but eat a flying knee!!! Hunter covers for another two count!!! Hunter then locks in an Inverted Indian Deathlock!!!! Shawn is in pain but refuses to give up. Hunter finally releases the hold throws Shawn in the ropes and hits a spinning spinebuster!!!
Hunter makes the cover for a two count!!!
Hunter yells at the referee for counting too slow. Shawn slowly gets to his feet, Hunter unloads with a couple of hard chops that backs Shawn into the corner, Shawn then starts to answer back and we have a chop fest between Shawn and HHH!!!! Shawn backs HHH up until Hunter rakes his eyes!!!! HHH whips Shawn into the ropes, but Shawn ducks a clothesline and then unloads on Hunter with a flying forearm!!!! Shawn kips up!!! Cover only gets a two count!!!
Shawn starts to warm up the band!!!! Hunter stand up , Shawn is about to go for the superkick when Hunter drops to the mat and rolls out of the ring for a time out!!! Hunter and Dibiase are conversing when HBK climbs the top rope and comes down with an ax handle on Hunter that sends him crashing into Dibiase!!!! Shawn rolls Hunter back into the ring! Shawn to the top rope and he drives an elbow in Hunter’s chest!!!Cover and Hunter barely kicks out before the ref slaps the mat a third time!!! Shawn starts warming the band up again!!! Dibiase jumps on the apron to distract the referee and eats the Sweet Chin Music for his troubles!!! Hunter kicks Shawn in the gut and sets him up for the Pedigree!!! HBK backdrops out of the Pedigree and then drives Hunter flush in the mush with Sweet Chin Music!! Cover gets a three count and HBK is advancing to the Semi Finals!!!!

HHH and Dibiase are angry as Shawn poses in the ring for the fans. We see a replay of the finish and Ross says he thinks that HBK may very be the ringer and go all the way to the finals and win it all. Heenan doesn’t agree at all with that. The Kid’s music hits and the highflying youngster makes his way to the ring, Ross calls The Kid the ultimate underdog here tonight, Heenan asks if The Kid has a work permit.

THE KID
The winner of this match will advance to face The Heartbreak Kid in round 2! The Kid starts everything off fast by flying through the ropes and hitting Owen and Anvil with a suicide dive as Owen was coming to the ring. The Kid rolls Owen into the ring and hits a slingshot legdrop!!! Cover gets a two count!!! The Kid tries to whip Owen into the ropes, but Owen reverses and then catches The Kid with a release Belly to Belly suplex!! Owen covers and gets a two count! Inside cradle from The Kid gets a two as Owen reverses it to an inside cradle of his own for a 2 count!!!
Owen tries to suplex The Kid, but The Kid twists out and hits a German Suplex with bridge for a two count!!! The Kid runs the ropes, he leapfrogs Owen, Owen then tries for a hip toss, but The Kid blocks it and turns it into a backslide!!! Owen kicks out at two and then blasts The Kid with an Enziguri!!!!! Owen makes a cover but once again only gets a two count!!! Owen tries to slow things down by working The Kid’s leg for several minutes. Owen tosses the Kid out of the ring and distracts the referee allowing The Anvil to gets some shots in. The Kid is almost counted out but finds a way to roll back into the ring at 8.
Owen hits a gut wrench suplex and gets another 2 count. He tries to lift the Kid up for a Powerbomb, but the Kid turns it into a hurricanrana and holds on for a pin!!! Owen just barley kicks out before the three!!! The Kid unloads with kicks on Owen and then drops him with a spinning roundhouse!!! The Kid then pulls Owen up and whips him into the corner!! The Kid fires off a couple more kicks on Owen before setting him on the top rope, The Kid attempts a Super Hurricanrana, but Owen blocks it and plants The Kid in the center of the ring with a SuperBomb!!! That’s all she wrote as Owen makes the cover and gets the three count to advance to the next round against Shawn Michaels!!!

Michael Hayes interviews Owen Hart at ringside after the match. Owen says that the Kid is just the first man to fall, two more are going to find themselves going down here tonight!! We then get a shot outside of the Boston Garden, Ross talks about the history of the building and different title changes and major events that have happened here. Ross says that they’ll miss coming to the old Boston Garden, but look forward to opening the NEW Boston Garden later this year. Heenan says he was hoping he’d never have to come to Boston again.
Chris Candido’s music starts to play and of course Sunny is not with Candido. As Candido heads out to the ring we see a quick replay of Sunny revealing her black eye to Ross and Marc Mero. Ross asks what kind of a man hits a woman.
Marc Mero’s music hits, and HE HAS SUNNY WITH HIM!!!! Mero and Sunny head down to the ring, and Mero holds the ropes open for Sunny!!! Heenan says that Sunny has no right to be out here and they need to send her to the back!!! Heenan says he never liked Sunny, she has a million dollar body but a 1 cent mind!!!
KING OF THE RING QUARTERFINAL:
“WILDMAN” MARC MERO W/SUNNY

CHRIS CANDIDO
Candido is not happy that Sunny is out here with Mero and complains loudly about it. They start out trading holds and reversals. Candido gets a crossbody off a irish whip reversal. Mero comes back with a backdrop and Candido bails. Candido stalks Sunny, but gets caught by a slingshot plancha from Mero!! Mero rolls Candido back in and makes a cover buy only gets a two count. Mero and Candido trade some more holds and once again Mero sends Candido to the floor with a headscissors. Mero tries for a baseball slide, but Candido moves out of the way and then clotheslines Mero down. Candido follows up with a vertical suplex on the arena floor!!! Candido rolls Mero back into the ring and makes a cover, but only gets a two count.
Candido works Mero over some more, Mero tries to make a comeback, but Candido is able to cut that off. It looks like it’s going to be all she wrote when Candido hits a running powerbomb!! Candido makes the cover and Mero barley kicks out before the three!!! Candido has a temper tantrum in the ring and starts yelling at the referee. Candido then sees Sunny on the outside of the ring, he rolls out and starts to stalk her, he chases her around the ring and then into it, Sunny is cowering by Mero as Candido stalks her!!! The referee gets in between Sunny and Candido. The ref is trying to talk Candido into backing down, Sunny is helping Mero up,
THEN PULLS MACE OUT AND MACES HIM IN THE FACE!!! THE REFEREE WAS TALKING TO CANDIDO AND DIDN’T SEE A THING!!! SUNNY ROLLS OUT OF THE RING, CANDIDO GRABS MERO AND HITS A BRAINBUSTER!!! CANDIDO COVERS AND STEALS THE WIN WITH A THREE COUNT!!!!!

After the match Sunny jumps in Candido’s arms and the two start making out!!! Ross says it was a damn set up all along!!!! Heenan says he always liked Sunny, she is one of the smartest broads he has ever known!! Mero gets to his feet and is still blinded but starts swinging!!! Candido and Sunny take off out of the ring, leaving Mero alone. Mero is on his knees on the mat and the camera gets a close up of his face and his red eyes.
We then go to the back and Michael Hayes who is with The British Bulldog!! The Bulldog says he is going to get some payback here tonight on Pillman for stealing the European Title from him. Hayes asks Bulldog if he wins the King of the Ring, will there be any problems between he and Bret when they have to meet at Summerslam? WWF Champion Bret Hart appears before Bulldog can answer, Bret says that one of the highlights of his career was facing Bulldog at Wembly Stadium back at Summerslam 92 and would love to face him again! Bret wishes Bulldog luck and shakes his hand, Bulldog then smiles and reminds Bret that the Bulldog won that match!!
Back in the arena Brian Pillman is headed down the aisle with The Anvil by his side!
The British Bulldog is out next and he stops on his way to the ring to see his family and get a hug from his wife and a pat on the back from his in laws!!!

BRIAN PILLMAN w/JIM NEIDHARDT
Pillman starts by running his mouth to Davey and laughing that he is the European Champion, Davey doesn’t take to kindly to that and kicks Pillman in the gut!!! Davey clobbers Pillman several times and then tosses him out of the ring!!! Davey follows Pillman out and whips him hard into the guardrail!!! Smith body slams Pillman on the arena floor then rolls him back into the ring, Davey goes straight to the top rope and comes down with a flying headbutt for a two count!!!
Davey doesn’t slow down or let up tossing Pillman into the ropes and hitting a press slam that gets a two count!!! Davey lifts Pillman up and hits a delay vertical suplex that also gets a two count!!! The Anvil reaches into the ring and yanks Pillman out to try and stop the onslaught. Referee Tim White admonishes Neidhardt for his interference, but it is what Pillman needed.
Pillman climbs back onto the apron after getting a reprieve, The Bulldog tries to rush him, but Pillman catches him with a forearm then grabs Bulldog and rams his head into the turnbuckle!! Davey staggers a bit and Pillman hits a springboard clothesline on Bulldog!!! Pillman makes the cover but only gets a two count. Pillman then quickly grabs Bulldog and drops him with a brainbuster!!! Pillman makes the cover but only gets a two count again.
Pillman goes to working Davey over on the mat. Ross says if you call the Superstar Line right now you can hear from a very unhappy Hunter Hearst Helmsley and Ted Dibiase about their loss earlier tonight! Back in the ring, Pillman tosses Bulldog out to the Anvil and then distracts the referee. Neidhardt slams Bulldog’s head into the ringpost and then rolls him back into the ring. Pillman makes a cover but Bulldog kicks out at 2. Pillman throws Bulldog into the ropes and hits a flying back elbow! Cover and once again Bulldog kicks out at 2!!!
Pillman slams Bulldog to the mat then heads to the top rope!! Pillman measures Bulldog and waits till he gets to his feet, Pillman then launches off the top rope looking for a crossbody block,
BUT BULLDOG CATCHES HIM AND POWERSLAMS HIM TO THE MAT!!! BULLDOG MAKES THE COVER AND PILLMAN BARELY KICKS OUT!!!!
Bulldog is fired up now and hits a series of clotheslines on Pillman!!! Bulldog then press slams Pillman!!! Pillman cowers to the corner and begs off!!! Bulldog press the attack!!! Bulldog climbs the turnbuckle and rains ten punches down on Pillman’s head!!! Bulldog then sends Pillman into the opposite corner and runs at Pillman with a full head of steam!!!! Pillman moves at the last second and the Bulldog crashes into the corner!!! Pillman capitalizes on the opening by hitting a tornado ddt on The Bulldog!!! Bulldog barely kicks out before three!!!
Pillman is pissed!!
He yells down to Neidhardt who throws Howard Finkel out of his seat and takes his chair!!! Neidhardt climbs on the apron with the chair!!! Pillman tries to throw Bulldog into Neidhardt and the chair, but Bulldog reverses the whip and Pillman crashes back first into the chair!!! Neidhardt drops the chair into the ring and falls off the apron!!!! Pillman staggers into Bulldog’s arms!!!! Bulldog scoops him up, tosses him on his shoulder and hits the running powerslam!!!!! Bulldog makes the cover and gets the three count to advance!!!!

Bulldog doesn’t have much time to celebrate as Pillman grabs the chair and blasts Bulldog from behind with it!!! Anvil jumps in the ring and puts the boots to Bulldog!! Pillman takes the chair, opens it up and sticks Bulldog’s leg into it!!! Pillman climbs to the second turnbuckle and
STOMPS ON THE CHAIR!!!Officals and referees finally show up to clear Pillman and Neidhardt out, but the damage is done, Bulldog is hurt and hurt bad!!! Ross and Heenan talk about what just happened, Heenan says they should just go ahead and pull Bulldog from the match, no way he is going to be able to compete later tonight, Ross says if anyone could do it, it would be the Bulldog.
They take a look at the brackets, the semi finals will now see Shawn Michaels face Owen Hart and Chris Candido face The British Bulldog, depending on the condition of the Bulldog!!!
Ross then sends us to a recap video for the feud between The Godwinns and the WWF Tag Team Champions The Smoking Gunns.
It starts by showing the Gunns back in Feburary giving “gifts” to the Godwinns, then the Gunns injuring the Godwinns’ uncle Hillbilly Jim.
The Godwinns defeated The Gunns to win the tag titles at Wrestlemania XI, but then The Godwinns lost the titles at 2 the Xtreme in a triple threat match when Billy Gunn pinned Jim Neidhardt, causing the Godwinns to lose the titles without being pinned!
Tonight The Godwinns will do everything in their power to take the titles back. Back at ringside,
Ross and Heenan have been joined by The Nasty Boys. The Nasties will be facing whomever wins the match tomorrow night on Raw for the WWF Tag Team Titles.
The challengers are the first out, The Nasty Boys applaud them and the two teams shake hands and hug with the Nasties telling the Godwinns to take care of business!!!
The Champs are out next and they have words for the Nasty Boys as Billy holds up the tag belt and says it's as close as the Nasties will ever get!!!!
WWF TAG TITLE MATCH:
THE GODWINNS VS. THE SMOKING GUNNS©
The Godwinns look ready for business while The Gunns are joking around. Henry and Billy start this one off as the legal men and just start slugging it out!!! Gunn back Henry into the corner, Billy fires off some of his patented punches then whips Henry into the opposite corner, but Henry explodes out and damn near takes Billy’s head off with a clothesline! Henry jumps on Billy and starts to pound him into the mat!!! Henry and Phineas take turns now beating on Billy Gunn, who is selling like a mad man. Everything the Godwinns throw at Billy has him flopping around the ring. Phineas sends Billy hard into the corner and he does the Flair flip in the corner and out of the ring!!! Bart runs to Billy’s rescue and begs for a time out while the Godwinns celebrate in the ring.
Billy takes his time getting back in the ring, he tries a test of strength with Phineas and quickly loses!!! He kicks Phineas in the gut and tries to whip him into the ropes, but Phineas reverses the whip, regrettably for Phineas he drops his head too soon for a backdrop and Billy catches him with a Rocker Dropper to turn the tide! Now it’s the Gunns turn to cut the ring in half and work over Phineas.
They keep riling Henry up, getting him to jump into the ring and cause the referee to have to force him out, giving the Gunns the chance to double team Phineas, including a Spike Piledriver that would have gotten the three count if not for Henry breaking it up! Henry knocks everyone around before he is forced again out of the ring! The Gunns whip Phineas into the ropes and try for a double clothesline, but Phineas ducks it and then drops both men with a desperation double clothesline of his own!!! Phineas collapses to the mat!!! After several seconds he starts to crawl to the corner, The Gunns try to stop him but he makes one last leaping lunge and makes the tag to Henry!!!
Henry comes in a house of fire!!! He knocks both Gunns around the ring, including sending Bart flying out of the ring!!! Henry is working Billy over in the ring!!! Meanwhile, Bart snatches a tag belt away from the time keeper, it looks like he is about to take it into the ring, but the Nasty Boys leave the commentators booth to stop him!! Referee Jimmy Cordaris sees what is happening and turns his back to the action into the ring to tell the Nasty Boys not to get involved in the match, Henry too stops his assault on Billy to see what is going on!! Billy slips his boot off and plasters Henry with it!!!! Billy makes the cover and gets the three count as the ref didn’t see him use the boot!!! The Gunns have found a way to retain the tag straps!!!
WINNERS: AND STILL WWF TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS THE SMOKING GUNNS!!!
The Gunns grab the tag straps and take off like the bandits they are!!!! The Nasty Boys help the Godwinns up in the ring, but Henry isn’t pleased and shoves Knobbs!!! The Nasty Boys and The Godwinns start arguing and that turns into a brawl!!!! The Godwinns and The Nasty Boys are fighting as Ross sends us to the back to get an update on The Bulldog!!!
Michael Hayes is in the trainers room, behind him you can see Bulldog sitting on the table, his boot is off and he is clearly in pain, Bret Hart and Shane McMahon are both with him. Hayes reports that Bulldog wants to still go, even though the trainers believe his ankle is broken. They are going to tape it up best they can and Bulldog has asked for a shot to numb the ankle so that he can try to continue to compete. Hayes says it’s the same shot football players take so that they can continue in a game after an injury. Hayes says that it’s a big risk Bulldog is taking, but he wants to be The King of the Ring. Back at ringside Ross calls The Bulldog as “Hoss” and says that you have to be a special breed to be able to push through the pain and keep going. Heenan says you have to be a special breed of idiot.
Owen Hart's music signifies that the Semi Finals are about to begin!!! Owen and The Anvil climb in the ring with Anvil hyping Owen up the entire way there.
HBK notices that Neidhardt is at ringside, so he signals to the back and out comes The Kid to watch Michaels back!!!
KING OF THE RING SEMI FINALS:
“THE HEARTBREAK KID” SHAWN MICHAELS W/THE KID VS.. OWEN HART W/JIM NEIDHARDT
HBK and Owen start off chopping and hitting each other in the center of the ring until Owen grabs an inside cradle for a two count!!! Owen tries to whip HBK into the ropes, but HBK reverses and then backdrops Owen!!! Owen stands up by the ropes and HBK clotheslines Owen out of the ring!!! Shawn climbs the ropes and The Anvil helps Owen to his feet and HBK hits an body block on Owen and Neidhardt!!! HBK rolls back into the ring and hits a pose in the center as Owen and The Anvil try and collect themselves!!!
Owen slowly gets up on the apron and Shawn brings him back in with a vertical suplex!!! Shawn makes a cover but only gets a two count. Shawn now takes over on Owen now, working him over with several different holds. Shawn gets a two count off a tear drop suplex. Shawn starts to get several nearfalls and looks like he has this in the bag when Owen turns the tide with an enziguri!!! Owen now goes to work on the Heartbreak Kid. Owen hits a Dragon Suplex for 2. Owen with a backbreaker, followed up by a leg drop. Owen hits a Northern Lights Suplex for 2. Gutwrench suplex gets two for Owen.
Shawn tries to fight back, but Owen cuts off the comeback attempt! Owen throws HBK into the ropes and connects with a spinning heel kick that gets a two count. Tilt a whirl piledriver gets a two count. Owen is throwing everything he has at HBK but can’t get him to stay down for a three count. Owen throws HBK into the ropes, HBK ducks a clothesline and then plasters Owen with a flying forearm!!!! Shawn kips up!!!! He grabs Owen and bodyslams him to the mat!!! Shawn climbs to the top rope and drives an up yours elbow into Owen’s heart!!!! Cover and Owen barely kicks out before three.
HBK starts to warm up the band as Owen staggers to his feet!!! HBK connects with Sweet Chin Music but it sends Owen flying out of the ring!!! Meanwhile, Anvil whips The Kid into the guardrail on the outside!!! He then goes to help Owen to his feet. Shawn slingshots himself out to the apron, as The Anvil pulls Owen to his feet, Shawn springs off with an Asai Moonsault,
ANVIL SHOVES OWEN OUT OF THE WAY AND SHAWN CRASHES INTO THE COMMENTATORS TABLE!!!!! Owen slowly climbs into the ring, but HBK’s ribs are messed up and he can’t get back into the ring before the ten count!!!! Shawn is counted out and Owen is headed to the finals!!!

Ross and Heenan finally get back on headset and show the replay of Shawn crashing a couple of times, Ross says that’s why it’s called a high risk move, because if you miss it then that’s all she wrote!!!
Chris Candido's music hits for the second time tonight as Candido, now with Sunny at his side heads to the ring. Ross calls Sunny a jezabelle!!
The Bulldog’s music hits and he comes limping down to the ring. His wife Diana is at ringside and looks very concerned for her husband as her mother tries to reassure her.
KING OF THE RING SEMI FINALS:
CHRIS CANDIDO W/SUNNY VS. THE BRITISH BULLDOG
Candido wastes no time going right after Bulldog’s injured leg dropkicking it as the bell rings. Candido spends most of the match working over The Bulldog’s leg, as Bulldog does everything he can to stay in the match. Ross says it takes a little while for the pain killer that The Bulldog took to really take effect and the Bulldog must be in unbelievable pain. Bulldog tries to make a comeback several times, but Candido cuts him off each and every time. All looks lost for Bulldog when Candido traps him in a Figure Four Leglock!!!
Bulldog almost gets pinned as his shoulders fall to the mat a couple of times, but somehow he is able to jut his shoulder up at the last possible second. Bulldog puts everything he has into trying to fight off the Figure Four, Bulldog finally is able to roll into the ropes and force the break, but it looks like that took everything out of him!!! Meanwhile, Sunny is taunting Bulldog’s wife Diana at ringside!!!
Sunny is yelling at Diana and mocking Bulldog, that is until Diana
SLAPS THE TASTE OUT OF SUNNY’S MOUTH!!!! Diana and Sunny grab each other’s hair and are pulling!!!! Some other referees run down to try and break this cat fight up while Candido has dropped The Bulldog with a stalling vertical suplex and is climbing to the top rope when he notices what’s going on.
Candido stops for a bit to watch as the referees pull Sunny away. Candido finally launches himself off the top looking for a flying headbutt, however Bulldog rolls out of the way!!!! Candido staggers to his feet and Bulldog rolls him up with an inside cradle for the three count!!!
BULLDOG HAS DONE IT!!!
HE HAS DEFIED THE ODDS AND IS GOING TO THE FINALS OF THE KING OF THE RING TOURNAMENT!!!WINNER: THE BRITISH BULLDOG
Ross is screaming about how Bulldog beat the odds, but can he survive one more match? And can he survive it against the man who has been his main rival, his own brother in law Owen Hart?
Ross then sends us to the back and Michael Hayes who is with Owen Hart and The Hart Foundation!
Hayes asks Owen about facing The Bulldog in the finals, Pillman starts to say something but Owen stops him. Owen says that nothing is going to stand in his way in getting his way of being crowned King of the Ring and getting his shot at the WWF Title at Summerslam, especially not his brother in law Davey. Owen has a message for Davey, he tells Davey not to face him in the finals, he says he doesn’t want to rob his nephew Harry, who Owen knows is watching, from being able to play with his dad. He doesn’t want to rob his niece Georgia of one day being walked down the aisle by her dad, or getting to dance at her wedding with her father. Owen says he won’t hold back, he won’t show mercy.
Back at ringside Ross is shocked by the callousness shown by Owen!!! Heenan says that Owen has just woken up and started doing things the way he should!!! They then turn their attention to the WWF Championship and the match coming up between the challenger “Stone Cold” Steve Austin and the WWF Champion Bret Hart, after talking for a bit they throw it to a video package showing the evolution of Austin from “Stunning” to “Stone Cold”
“Stunning” Steve Austin debuts in the WWF in November of 1993 and automatically gets into a feud with Intercontinental Champion Razor Ramon, leading to Austin winning the Intercontinental Championship at The 1994 Royal Rumble.
Austin defends the title against any and all comers, turning back every challenge.
Austin aligns with Shawn Michaels and with Madusa at his side begins to challenge WWF Champion Lex Luger for the WWF Title, Michaels leaves the WWF leaving and Austin enlists the aid of “Sycho” Sid Vicious. Austin battles Luger for the WWF Title at Summerslam 94 and loses the match by DQ, then faces Luger again at the 1994 Survivor Series in a Towel Match that he loses when Madusa throws in the towel. Austin fires Madusa with a Stone Cold Stunner.
Austin is in the Battle Royal for the #30 spot in the 1995 Royal Rumble and is eliminated by Hulk Hogan, sparking off a feud.
Austin shaves his head, after Ross claims that Austin acts Stone Cold, Austin abandons the Stunning name and takes the Stone Cold moniker.
Austin battles Hogan at the 1995 Royal Rumble and defeats the 5 time WWF Champion to retain the Intercontinental Title, Austin then eliminates Hogan from the Rumble only to be pulled out of the ring by Hogan and eliminated.
Austin gives the Stone Cold Stunner to Roddy Piper who is in a neck brace after recovering from neck surgery.
Austin piledrives The Ultimate Warrior through the announce table.
Ahmed Johnson defeats Austin for the InterContinental Title due to interference from Hulk Hogan.
Hogan and Austin battle to a double knock out at Saturday Night’s Main Event in February.
Hogan defeats Austin in a Cage Match at Wrestlemania XI, but Austin retaliates with a Steel Chair beating Hogan after the match.

Bret attempts an Irish Whip, Austin reverses and attempts a Thesz Press, but Bret catches him and nails an inverted atomic drop!!! Bret makes a cover but Austin kicks out after 1!! Bret starts working Austin’s leg with legbreakers, then drops Bret in the middle of the ring with a side Russian leg sweep, a cover barely gets a two count.
Bret hits a backbreaker and then a pointed elbow from the second rope!!! Bret makes another cover and Austin kicks out at 2 again!!! Bret traps Austin on the mat with a headlock. Bret grinds the headlock in, after a while Austin fights to his feet. Austin breaks the headlock and shoots Bret into the ropes, Bret ducks a clothesline, Bret ducks a back elbow, Bret catches Austin flush in the mush with a dropkick that sends Austin reeling!!! Austin traps Bret in a headlock now, grinding Bret’s face into the mat while he tries to figure out what to do next. Austin keeps control of the hold for a while, but Bret is able to fight up to his feet. Bret breaks the headlock and runs the ropes, Bret leapfrogs Austin but is then caught with the Thesz Press!!!!! Austin pounds on Bret with several punches before getting off Bret and jawjacking!!!! Austin pulls Bret up by his hair and whips him chest first into the corner!!! Austin and the referee are arguing, Austin pushes past the ref and goes back to Bret, but Bret kicks Austin in the gut!!! Michael Hayes is standing in the back with The British Bulldog, Hayes can’t believe the mayhem at ringside. He then asks Bulldog if he is going to be ready to go here next!! Bulldog first congratulates his brother in law Bret in retaining the WWF Title. Bulldog says he looks forward to facing Bret at Summerslam just like when they met at Summerslam 91!! Hayes says Bulldog is putting the cart before the horse because first he has to defeat Owen in the finals, and Owen has stated he won’t show The Bulldog any mercy, Bulldog says he heard what Owen had to say and Owen has crossed a line. Bulldog says he won’t show any mercy to Owen after Owen tried to use The Bulldog’s kids against him. Bulldog says Owen has made this beyond personal.
Owen heads to the ring, flanked by Neidhardt and Pillman. He stops by his family and tells Diana he is sorry for what is going to happen, Diana doesn’t say a word by If looks could kill Owen would be dead a hundred times over. Bruce tells Owen to move on and almost gets into it with Pillman, Ross relates how when Pillman broke into the business he and Bruce made a sensational tag team.
Bulldog comes out to the ring and stops to get a good luck kiss from his wife. Bulldog climbs into the ring and Pillman mocks Bulldog by limping around the ring. Owen tells Bulldog to walk away and tells Bulldog he doesn’t want to hurt him. Bulldog doesn’t say a word.

At the throne, Pillman snatches the microphone away from Michael Hayes, and yells for everyone to bow down to the KING OF HARTS!!!!! The Anvil puts the robe and the crown on Owen, Owen takes his seat on the throne, flanked by Pillman and The Anvil. The Hart Foundation celebrates as the WWF Logo pops up on the bottom of the screen and Ross wonders what is going to happen tomorrow night on Raw?
