MAJOR EVENTS:

*Queen Shaniqua opens the show by announcing the Nation of Domination’s arrival. D’Lo Brown, Kama, Rakim B. Fine and PG-13 enter first, with JC and Wolfie rapping lyrics that conclude with “Listen what we’re sayin’, we’re for for real. We’re not playin’. Faarooq is the man, hit your knees and start prayin’!” This brings out the new USWA World Heavyweight Champion Faarooq and The Dirty White Boy, who has his head shaved is wearing a suit with the black bowtie like that the rest of the Nation of Domination. Faarooq then cuts a promo where he says finally the title is around the waist of a great black athlete – a man who can truly defend it with pride and honor. Faarooq also wants to welcomes the newest member of the nation, the man formally known as the Dirty White Boy. This man has undergone a change for the better and has renounced his slave name.

DWB gets on the microphone and shouts that never wants to be called Dirty White Boy again. His name now is… ANTHONY X! The new Nation member talks about how he saved the USWA and he saved Sycho Sid time after time… and he never got ONE title shot. He never got ONE thank you. Anthony X then says last week he destroyed Sycho Sid’s dreams – next time, he’ll take him out for good. The interview is interrupted by Austin Idol, who says he is sick and tired of the Nation of Domination hogging TV time and trash-talking. Idol says he has never been afraid of any man and he is CERTAINLY not afraid of the Nation of Domination. Faarooq then orders his goons to “take this white trash” out and the Nation of Domination attach. Idol fights back hard, but he is outnumbered here. Sycho Sid runs in and cleans house, but Faarooq bashes him from behind with the belt. Anthony X then drops Sid with the Bucksnort Blaster on the floor! The Nation of Domination then hit their salute as a dozen wrestlers come out to tend to Sycho Sid and Austin Idol.

*Lance Russell and Dave Brown talk about this week’s King of the Battle Royal match where the winner earns a title match and $1000. The announced participants are: Earthquake, JC Ice, Wolfie D, Stan Lane, Steve Keirn, Mabel, Mo, D’Lo Brown, Kama, Jeff Jarrett, Jerry “The King” Lawler, Anthony X, Sycho Sid, Ricky Morton, Robert Gibson, Dr. Tom Prichard, Jimmy Del Rey, Tommy Rich, Koko Ware, Brian Christopher, Bill Dundee, Billy Travis, Kamala, Tim Horner, Steven Dunn and Reno Riggins. Earthquake and Jimmy Hart come out to talk up the match. Hart says make no mistake, Earthquake IS the biggest man in the USWA and he WILL take home the title match and the money prize this week. Earthquake then promises to personally eliminate “the puny little punk” Mabel on Tuesday night. Men on Mission come out and Mabel and Earthquake get in each other’s face. Randy Hales arrives and orders both men to stay calm because this studio cannot handle a brawl between two men this size. Earthquake points his finger in Mabel’s chest and promises to toss him out. Mabel slaps Quake’s hand away and it looks like a brawl is ready to develop, but Jimmy Hart convinces his man to walk away.

*The new team of Mike Rotundo and Rocky Miavia are out to discuss their recent success. Rocky tells Lance Russell that he would love an opportunity to win tag team gold here in the USWA and he thinks with a mentor like Mike Rotunda, it can happen. The interview is then interrupted by none other than Greg “The Hammer” Valentine, who says he is sick and tired of hearing about Mike Rotundo mentoring this young punk. Valentine reminds Rocky that he beat BOTH his father and grandfather in Madison Square Garden and then he TOOK the WWF Tag Team Titles from Rotundo and Barry Windham and basically broke up that team. Rotundo steps up to The Hammer and asks just why he’s out here. Valentine reveals that Rotundo isn’t the only one to be mentoring a young up-and-comer. Greg then introduces his own protégé, “Loverboy” Louie Spicolli. Spicolli comes out wearing a pink and black striped tights and he preens for the camera. Valentine says if Rotundo and Miavia want to get somewhere in the USWA, they will have to go through The NEW Dream Team! Valentine walks off with his new partner as Mike Rotundo promises that he and Rocky will take them on any time.

*Jerry Lawler and Jeff Jarrett are out next to discuss their loss to PG-13 this past Tuesday night. The King says he is sick and tired of having to deal with two little punks like Jamie Dundee and Wolfie D. Lawler says before it was funny. After last Tuesday, he’s not laughing any more. Lawler says and Jarrett have PG-13 again this Tuesday and they will do something they should have done a long time ago. Lawler talks about how Bill Dundee never wanted his son to be a wrestler – and The King can clearly say all these years later, Bill got his wish because Jamie Dundee is NO wrestler. What he is a sniveling little coward who has others fight his battles for him. The King hasn’t discussed this with Jeff Jarrett, but this Tuesday night, the fans at the Mid-South Coliseum WILL see JC Ice take a pile-driver right in the middle of the ring. Lance Russell mentions that if Lawler uses that move, it will automatically be a disqualification. The King says he knows that, but he doesn’t care. JC Ice WILL leave the Mid-South Coliseum this Tuesday night on a stretcher.

TV MATCHES

1) The Tennessee Volunteers (Reno Riggins & Steven Dunn) defeat Freezer Thompson and Chris Frazier at 5:33 when Steve Doll hits a flying forearm on Chris Frazier to score the pin.

2) Mabel (w/ Mo) pins Mark Starr (w/ Chris Champion) at 6:34 after coming off he ropes with a big splash on Starr.

3) The Heavenly Bodies (Dr. Tom Prichard & Jimmy Del Rey) (w/ Jim Cornette) defeat The Headbangers (Mosh & Thrasher) at 10:34 when Dr. Tom Prichard came off the ropes with a flying elbow. Jim Cornette did commentary on this match and promised to gain revenge on both The Fabulous Ones and the Rock n’ Roll Express.

4) Jeff Jarrett defeats Bobby Blaze at 6:56 when he forced Blaze to submit to the Figure Four.

5) Bobby Bolton pins Chris Champion at 7:45 when he came off the top rope with a sunset flip to continue his undefeated streak.

*Austin Idol and Sycho Sid are back out after the last match. Sid mentions that he has a guaranteed title match against Faarooq, but he won’t exerise them this week. He wants Anthony X and he’s got him! Austin Idol then reveals that he is going to destroy Faarooq this week and take the title, then he will give Sycho Sid a shot. Idol and Sid shake hands and then Lance Russell and Dave Brown wrap up the show.

-1- Bobby Bolton pins Mark Starr (w/ Chris Champion) at 10:34 when he came off the top rope with a sunset flip. Bolton continues his undefeated streak.

-2- Spellbinder pins Chris Frazier at 7:34 by driving him into the canvas with a running power-slam.

-3- USWA World Tag Team Champions The Rock n' Roll Express (Ricky Morton & Robert Gibson) defeat Tim Horner and Tommy Rogers at 20:13 when Ricky Morton landed a big dropkick right to the chin of Tim Horner to score the pin.

-4- Anthony X (Dirty White Boy) (w/ Queen Shaniqua & Rakim B. Fine) defeats Sycho Sid at 8:21 by connecting with the Bucksnort Blaster. Sid was still quite injured from the brutal attack on Championship Wrestling, but he looked to have a win when he collared Anthony for a choke-slam. Queen Shaniqua then got on the apron to distract the referee, while Anthony landed a low blow on Sid. Anthony X then hit the Bucksnort Blaster and made the pin as Queen Shaniqua re-directed the referee.

INTERMISSION

-5-PG-13 (Wolfie D & JC Ice) (w/ Queen Shaniqua) defeat Jerry "The King" Lawler and Jeff Jarrett at 14:34 by disqualification when Jerry Lawler connected with an illegal pile-driver on JC Ice. This was a wild brawl, that ended just as Lawler promised it would. Lawler was able to collar JC Ice on the floor and connect with the pile-driver on the concrete floor in full view of the referee. After the match, Lawler entered the ring and drilled Wolfie D with a right hand. Lawler and Jarrett then both came off the top rope with fist drops on Wolfie D. Queen Shaniqua got right in Lawler's face and it looked The King was about to deck her, but Jeff Jarrett pulls him away.

*JC Ice is carted out of the Mid-South Coliseum on a stretcher. It is clear he will not compete in the King of the Battle Royal main event.

-6- USWA World Heavyweight Champion Faarooq (w/ D-Lo Brown & Rakim B. Fine) pins Austin Idol at 10:11 by connecting with the Dominator (spine-buster). Idol put up a hell of a fight, but fell to Faarooq in this match.

-7- The main event of the evening was the King of the Battle Royal match, where the winner gets a title shot and $1,000. Here are the participants: Earthquake, Spellbinder (replacing JC Ice), Wolfie D, Stan Lane, Steve Keirn, Mabel, Mo, D’Lo Brown, Kama, Jeff Jarrett, Jerry “The King” Lawler, Anthony X, Sycho Sid, Ricky Morton, Robert Gibson, Dr. Tom Prichard, Jimmy Del Rey, Tommy Rich, Koko Ware, Brian Christopher, Bill Dundee, Billy Travis, Kamala, Rocky Miavia, Mike Rotundo, Greg Valentine, Louie Spicollo, Tommy Rogers, Tim Horner, Steven Dunn and Reno Riggins.

1. Spellbinder is eliminated by Mabel with a clothesline.

6. Rocky Miavia's run comes to and when Koko Ware is assisted by D'Lo Brown and Kama Mustafa in eliminating the rookie.

8. Koko Ware is eliminated when Tommy Rich surprises him from behind as The Nation had turned away. Koko is furious on the floor that his stablemate eliminated him, but Tommy just shrugs and says it's everyman for himself
9. Tommy Rogers is thrown out by Earthquake.
10. Wolfie D is eliminated by Jeff Jarrett and Jerry Lawler.
11. Stan Lane is eliminated by Jimmy Del Rey.
12. Anthony X is tossed out by Sycho Sid.

15. Superstar Bill Dundee is eliminated by Mabel.

21. Dr. Tom Prichard is dropkicked over and out by Steve Keirn.
22. Kama is double-teamed by Brian Christopher and Steven Dunn and tossed out.
23. D'Lo Brown tries to spark a partnership with Mabel, but the big man boots him and hurls him out to the floor.
24. Steve Keirn is thrown out by Ricky Morton.
25. Tommy Rich eliminates Ricky Morton.
26. Steven Dunn is eliminated by Earthquake.

The final four in the ring are Earthquake, Mabel, Tommy Rich and Brian Christopher. Mabel unloads on Tommy Rich, but Earthquake blasts him from behind and sends Mabel head-first into the turnbuckle. Brian Christopher tries to help Mabel, but Earthquake just flings him over and out! Brian Christopher has been eliminated!

The First Family's Tommy Rich and Earthquake then team up and target Mabel. Earthquake holds Mabel so Tommy Rich can unload on him with rights and lefts. Rich gets a little over-confident as he winds up, allowing Mabel to move! Rich ends up decking his stablemate Earthquake! Rich then drops to his knees and begs for forgiveness as Earthquake stalks. Earthquake is rubbing his injured jaw as Rich tries to explain himself. Earthquake listens for a minute, before kicking Rich in the gut. He then flings Tommy into the ropes and clotheslines him out! Tommy Rich has been eliminated!

Mabel is back up now and he begins pounding on Earthquake. These two monsters beat the holy heck out of each here, exchanging rights and lefts. Earthquake seems to take over and now he hits the ropes for a running clothesline, but Mabel ducks and pulls down the top rope! Earthquake goes tumbling out to the canvas and then Mabel stomps him! Earthquake flops down to the floor! Mabel wins!

Referee Jerry Calhoun hands Mabel the check and now Mo arrives to celebrate this huge win for the big man. Mabel has become the King of the Battle Royal here tonight in Memphis!

*Lance Russell and Dave Brown congratulate the winner of the King of the Battles Royal match – King Mabel! Men on a Mission come out and Mabel says he is so proud of his win. Mabel announces that he will be cashing in his title match soon, but he is interrupted by Jimmy Hart, Earthquake, Tommy Rich and Koko Ware. Earthquake gets right in Mabel’s face and says his win was a fluke. He challenges King Mabel to face him this Tuesday night, which Mabel accepts. The two go face-to-face, but Tommy Rich and Koko Ware are bickering in the background. Koko angrily accuses Tommy of turning on him by tossing him out of the battle royal. Jimmy Hart tries to play peacemaker as Men on a Mission walk off, but Ware and Rich start shoving each other. Rich demands a match with Ware today on Championship Wrestling so they can settle this issue and move. Koko accepts and walks off by himself.

*Jim Cornette is gleeful as he enters the studio with the Heavenly Bodies. Cornette tells Lance and Dave that after several weeks of side issues, Dr. Tom and Jimmy finally get their title rematch this week. The manager talks about his long history with the Rock n’ Roll Express and says it is finally time to put those “two old mulletheads” out to pasture. Lance Russell then asks Jim Cornette about The Fabulous Ones, but Cornette dismisses them as yesterday’s news. Cornette promises that all is about to restored in the world here in the USWA because the Heavenly Bodies have their sights firmly on the championship gold.

*Jerry “The King” Lawler is out and he tells Lance Russell that he is setting his sights on the USWA World Title. He doesn’t care if it’s Faarooq or if Mabel wins it, Lawler will work his way through the Nation of Domination to finally get his title match. Queen SHaniqua and Wolfie D come out from the back and shout about JC Ice being sent to the hospital last Tuesday. Wolfie says he will not let his ‘brother from another mother’ get punked out by the likes of the ‘Burger King’. Wolfie challenges Lawler for this Tuesday, which makes Lawler laugh. Jerry says he will happily take this match, but he wants it to be real clear right now that he will send one of them out on a stretcher just like JC Ice. Queen Shaniqua gets in Lawler’s face, but Jerry slips away and advises her not to make a mistake like that ever again.

*Greg “The Hammer” Valentine and Louie Spicolli – known as The New Dream Team – make their way out to discuss their match against Rocky Miavia and Mike Rotundo this Tuesday. Valentine says that Louie is the true blue-chip rookie in professional wrestling, not this punk Rocky Miavia. Greg talks about breaking Peter Miavia’s leg and beating Rocky Johnson in Madison Square Garden. The Hammer says Rocky Miavia isn’t even good enough to wrestle in Madison Square Garden, but the people here today are looking at a future WWF Champion in Louie Spiccolli. Louie basks in the compliments and then says Rocky Maivia should just face it – he’s not as good looking as Louie. He’s not as good a wrestler as Louie. And – unlike Louie- Rocky Miavia is NOT Madonna’s Boyfriend! The New Dream Team then take to the ring for their match.

*Men on a Mission are out to start the show and Mabel is obviously furious about Earthquake costing him his title match. Mabel says Earthquake is nothing but a bully and he has always hated bullies. A laughing Jimmy Hart comes out and says he knows MoM have signed on for a tag team match against “Earthquake and partner TBA” this Tuesday. Hart knows how these two morons think – they must think it’s either Tommy Rich or Bill Dundee filling in the second slot. The Mouth of the South reveals that there will be a reunion on Tuesday night – will be the reunion of Earthquake and Typhoon, the Natural Disasters! Lance and Dave put over the Natural Disasters, but Mabel says he and Mo aren’t afraid of anyone. Mabel says he doesn’t care what kind of match it is, he is going to mess Earthquake up this week.

*USWA World Heavyweight Champion Faarooq, D’Lo Brown and Kama Mustafa make their way out. Faarooq says first of all, he’s telling all the “white boys” in the back to never interfer in his matches against. Faarooq then says he has a match with Ricky Morton this week and he’s going to show the world that rock n’ roll is dead like that old ass cracker Elvis Presley. Kama then steps up to discuss his match against Jerry Lawler this Tuesday. Kama promises to prove he is the Supreme Fighting Machine by end Lawler’s run through the Nation. Jerry Lawler calls in after the Nation leaves and says he is in Las Vegas tonight to promote the debut of the AWA TV show out west in two weeks. Lawler says he will be splitting his time, but he WILL be at the Mid-South Coliseum and he will show Kama what a Supreme Fighting Machine really is.

*The New Dream Team are out to brag about their win last week, but Randy Hales walks out and says he will not have another result like last week. Hales reveals that another rematch has been signed, but this time there will be a special referee. Hales then sends us to a VTR of Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake standing in front of the WCW logo. Beefcake says he has been strutting and cutting the last few years, but he hasn’t forgotten his time in the Dream Team as The Hammer’s crony in the 1980s. Brutus says there’s no better person than to make sure Greg Valentine stays in line this week. Beefcake promises to keep everyone on their toes and he might even deal out a few hair cuts.

*Southern Heavyweight Champion Bill Dundee, Jimmy Hart and Tommy Rich are out. Dundee talks about Tatanka breaking Bobby Bolton’s undefeated streak and winning several other big matches. The Superstar heard Tatanka is in line for a title match now, but he will not defend the belt against an old drunken Indian. Lance and Dave both condemn Dundee’s remarks as Jimmy Hart cackles in the background. Dundee then says he is entrusting this to his old friend Tommy Rich – he wants Tommy to take out Tatanka! Tommy Rich smiles and says he’d love to take care of this for Jimmy, but he might just want a title match if he does it. Dundee doesn’t like the sound of that and bickers with Rich as they walk off with Jimmy Hart trying to be a peace maker.

1) Tatanka beats Robert Gibson with the End of the Trail.

2) USWA Heavyweight Champion Faarooq defeats Bobby Blaze with the flying shoulder tackle.

3) The Fabulous Ones beat Chris Frazier and Freezer Thompson when Stan Lane hit the super kick on Thompson.

4) Kama Mustafa defeats Tony Williams with the Canadian Backbreaker.

5) Sycho Sid defeats Tommy Rogers with the power-bomb. He then orders Rogers to be stretchered out after the match – something we haven’t seen fro Sid in quite some time. Sid then rants and raves about destroying Tony Anthony this Tuesday night.

1) Tatanka defeats Tommy Rich (w/ Jimmy Hart) at 14:23 by connecting with the End of Trail.

2) Men on a Mission wrestle the Natural Disasters (w/ Jimmy Hart) to a double DQ at 10:02.

3) The New Dream Team defeat Rocky Miavia and Mike Rotundo at 15:34 when special referee Brutus Beefcake fast-counted Valentine rolling up Rotundo. The supposedly impartial Brutus Beefcake reverted to his old ways and helped his former partner The Hammer still the ring here. Beefcake celebrated with Greg Valentine and Louie SPicolli after the match.

4) Sycho Sid defeats Anthony X at 6:55 with the power-bomb. Sid gets his revenge here by destroying Anthony X from bell to bell. Sid then orders Anthony X to stretchered out of the arena.

5) Jerry “The King” Lawler defeats Kama Mustafa at 9:34 with the flying fist drop. Lawler got on the microphone after the match and challenged the winner of tonight’s title match to face him next week.

INTERMISSION

6) Southern Heavyweight Champion Bill Dundee (w/ Jimmy Hart) defeats Brian Christopher at 10:34 when he comes off the top rope with the Bomb’s Away.

7) The Fabulous Ones defeat USWA Tag Team Champions The Heavenly Bodies (w/ Jim Cornette) by disqualification at 19:34 when Cornette is caught using the tennis racket on Steve Keirn. Cornette seems to like the result, but he turns right into a super kick from Stan Lane! The angry Bodies have to carry Cornette out.

8) USWA World Heavyweight Champion Faarooq defeats Ricky Morton at 13:23 when he hit the flying shoulder-breaker on Morton. Faarooq then accepts the challenge from Jerry Lawler for next week.

*Sycho Sid is out to start the show to start the show and he is in his typical manic state as he laughs about taking out Anthony X. Sid then talks about wrestling for the AWA coming up and says he is going back to the old ways he did things. Sid said people used to fear the power-bomb and they will again because people will be stretchered out every time he wrestlers. Sid is continuing to rant and rave as Men on a Mission make their way out. Mabel apologizes for interrupting but he just wants Randy Hales to know Men on a mission want  a rematch with the Natural Disasters. Sid is taken a back by this and says he knows Mabel thinks he is a king around here, but NOBODY interrupts Sycho Sid! Mabel says didn’t mean any disrespect, but Sid shouts back that everyone seems to think he’s Mr. Nice Guy these days. Sycho Sid says this time and this time only, he will WALK AWAY. But he wants Mabel to known to never interrupt him again. Sycho Sid storms off as Mabel says that Sid needs to stop taking himself so seriously.

*Tatanka comes out and it is announced that he will get his title shot at Bill Dundee this Tuesday night. Tatanka talks about his winning streak here in the USWA, much like he had in the WWF for over a year. The Native American superstar says he came to the USWA to get his career back on track and he gets his chance to do that on Tuesday. This brings out Buddy Landell, who as we know has vowed to win gold by the end of the year. Landell says he has been trying to get a title match and he thinks the way to do it is end Tatank’a winning streak. Landell respects Tatanka, but he challenges the Native American to face him here today. Tatanka accepts and says they can have their match right away. The two head to the ring…

*The Fabulous Ones are out as a VTR plays of Jim Cornette squealing and crying as he was fitted for a neck collar. Stan Lane and Steve Keirn are laughing as the show comes back to the studio. Keirn says he never did care much for Jimmy Cornette so he was happy to see Stan nearly super kick his head off on Tuesday. The battle lines are down now for one final match between The Heavenly Bodies and the Fabulous Ones. Kiern knows this could be his last title shot and he and Lane will not blow it. This Tuesday night, we will finally find out if the Fabulous Ones or the Heavenly Bodies are truly the best tag team in professional wrestling today

*Jerry “The” Lawler is out next and again discusses the return of the AWA on the west coast. He’s heard that Sycho Sid, Men on a Mission and many others will be involved. He heard that Faarooq will be involved as well. The King says it’s a shame that Faarooq will show up in the AWA as the FORMER USWA Heavyweight Champion. Lawler says it’s been a long time coming and he’s gone though the entire Nation of Domination. Now, he gets Faarooq one-on-one. Lawler throws out a challenge to Faarooq. He says this match should have a clear winner – no interference. Lawler asks Faarooq if he has the guts to leave The Nation in the dressing room and wrestle this match alone.
