SOUTHERN ROCKERS VS. THE COBRA & THE SCORPION
The team of Scott Peterson and Steve Doll open the show by shaking hands with the fans around ringside. The masked Scorpion and Cobra use some high impact offense, but Scott Peterson got the pin after a flying forearm smash.
WINNER: THE SOUTHERN ROCKERS
HERCULES HERNANDEZ VS. TOP GUN
The massive Hercules comes out wearing a chain around his neck. Top Gun is a tough competitor, and this is far from a squash. Eventually, Hercules is able to get Top Gun up into the Human Torture Rack, and Top Gun passes out without giving up.

RIP OLIVER W/ ABDULLAH THE BUTCHER VS. HACKSAW SAWYER
Rip Oliver presents referee Sandy Barr with a ‘manager’s license’ for Abdullah before the match – what a joke! Hack Sawyer needs eyes in the back of his head because Abdullah reaches in to take cheap shots on him behind the referee’s back. Sawyer shoots Rip Oliver off the ropes, and the Crippler seems to switch directions to collide with Sandy Barr.
Hack Sawyer has Oliver on the run as he hurls Oliver off the ropes, and connects with a cross-body block. Sawyer stays on top for the cover and he counts himself 1-2-3-4-5! Abdullah the Butcher is now in the ring and he boots Sawyer, then slams him. Butcher off the ropes with the big elbow on Oliver, and then a second one. Hold on, the fans are on their feet because storming down the aisle is a man we haven’t seen in the Northwest in years – it’s ‘Buzzsaw’ Sawyer!
Buzzsaw Sawyer hits the rope and flies into Abdullah with rights and left, defending his younger brother! Buzz is now brawling all over the ringside area with the Butcher, while Sandy Barr tries to get back to his feet. Rip Oliver is up now and he power-slams Hack Sawyer – but Hacksaw gets the shoulder up! Rip Oliver scoops Hack Sawyer up with a shoulder-breaker and now covers again for the 1-2-3! Buzz Sawyer runs off Abdullah and the Crippler after the bout, and tends to his fallen brother.

BATLLE ROYAL
WINNER GETS $2,000 TOM PETERSON’S GIFT CERTIFICATE
The action starts out fast and furious with 15 wrestlers brawling from the bell. The first elimination is Nicki Kiniski at 3:02, when he’s clotheslined over the top rope by Nord the Barbarian. Buzz Sawyer and Abdullah The Butcher brawl around the ring, eventually out to the floor and then to the dressing room at 5:11. Jesse Barr back-drops Moondog Moretti over the top rope at 5:24. ‘Easy’ Ed Wiskoski is busy lecturing outside referee Buddy Rose, and gets dumped over by Fire Cat at 6:11. Wiskoski grabs a hold of Fire Cat’s leg from a floor, and Buddy Rose tries to pull him off.
However, Nord the Barbarian is there to dump Fire Cat over and out at 6:36. Crush lands a big chop on Bull Ramos to send the Northwest legend over and out at 7:40. Greg Valentine dumps Carl Styles over the top rope at 8:00. A dropkick from Jesse Barr sends Chris Colt out to the floor at 8:49. The Grappler and Nord The Barbarian team up to dump Scott Doring out at 9:58.
Nord goes for a big boot on Bryan Adams, but Crush ducks as the Barbarian accidentally drills The Grappler. Grappler falls backwards over the top rope and out to the floor 10:10. We are down to the final four as Greg ‘The Hammer’ Valentine, Nord the Barbarian, Crush and Jesse Barr are competing for the gift certificate.
Jesse Barr misses a cross-body block and the momentum carries him over and out on 13:06. Valentine and Nord double team Bryan Adams. However, The Hammer makes a big mistake when he tries to throw Nord out from behind. Nord fights back and lights up Greg with rights and lefts. Nord the Barbarian scoops up Greg 'The Hammer' Valentine and scoop slams him over and out at 17:45. Crush keeps Nord off balance with his acrobatic offense, using swift kicks and strikes. Nord eventually unties the turnbuckle pad, exposing the steel. The vicious Nord tries to throw Crush into the metal, but Crush puts on the breaks. Adams fights back, scoops Nord up and connects with a press slam on the huge Barbarian. Crush pulls Nord up by his beard, but the Barbarian drills him with a low blow and sends Crush shoulder-first into the steel corner. An injured Crush continues to fight, a brutal boot to the head allows Nord to finally dumps him out. Nord the Barbarian wins! He snatches the Tom Peterson’s gift card, stomps off shouting “HUSSS!” all the way.

INTERMISSION
As the intermission comes to an end, ‘Crippler’ Rip Oliver makes his way out to the ring with ‘Mean’ Mike Miller. Oliver boasts that The Boss is really happy that he’s number one contender, and the money rolls in when The Boss is happy. The Boss gets what The Boss wants, and right now The Boss wants the Northwest Tag Team Titles. Oliver then announces the newest member of the Clan and Mike Miller’s new tag team partner…

‘DR D’ DAVID SCHULTZ IS BACK IN THE NORTHWEST!!!!
NORTHWEST TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH
PORTLAND’S TEAM VS. THE CLAN
Clearly whoever The Boss is has lots of money at his or her disposal to purchase the services of notorious bounty hunter David Schultz for the Clan. Billy Jack Haynes and Chris Adams hit the ring and take the fight right to David Schultz and Mike Miller, sending the Clan out to the floor. The Clan see fit to take every cheap shot and bend every rule that they can. However, Portland’s Team manage to stop any sustained offensive runs by the challengers with their agility. Chris Adams is able to catch David Schultz with a big dropkick and then he makes the tag to his partner Billy Jack Haynes, who comes off the top rope with a double sledge that sends Schultz sprawling to the canvas.
Billy Jack Haynes then works over the neck of David Schultz for several minutes, nailing a series of leg drops and knee drops to the back of Schultz’s neck. Billy Jack Haynes pulls Dr. D to his feet and sends him off the ropes and connects with a backdrop. Billy Jack Haynes makes the tag to partner Chris Adams, who comes in and lifts Dr. D to his feet, but Schultz nails him in the throat with some kind of chop. Schultz then makes the tag to his partner, Mike Miller, who comes into the ring and knocks Chris Adams over with a spear.
‘Mean’ Mike Miller lifts Chris Adams into the air and then drives his back down on his knee in a brutal back-breaker. The Clan works over the back of Chris Adams for several minutes by making quick tags and isolating him from his corner. Finally, Chris Adams is able to hit an enziguri kick out of nowhere and makes the hot tag to Billy Jack Haynes as the crowd explodes.
Billy Jack Haynes boots Miller in the gut, shoots him off the ropes and knocks him over with a shoulder block. In comes Schultz, who gets a right hand to the chin from Haynes. Billy Jack now scoops Miller and power-slams him for a two count. Haynes makes the tag back out to Chris Adams, who comes in with a knee drop on Miller for another two count. As the count is being made, there’s commotion because at ringside is:
IT’S HERCULES HERNANDEZ!
Hercules just yanked Billy Jack’s foot, and Haynes dropped jaw-first down onto the apron! Hercules is right on Haynes with some right hands to that jaw and then hurls him jaw-first into the steel turnbuckle pole! Blood is pouring out of Billy Jack’s mouth here, and Hercules is now off to the dressing room! Chris Adams and the referee saw none of this – all they see is Billy Jack with blood gushing out of his mouth on the arena floor. What just happened here - and why?
From behind, Mike Miller waylays Chris Adams with a knee to the back, rolls him up with a hands of tights. Sandy Barr doesn’t see the infraction and counts the 1-2-3! We have new champions! The Clan have stolen the Northwest Tag Team Tiles. David Schultz and Mike Miller take off with their belts, as referee Sandy Barr, Barry Owen, Don Owen and Chris Adams all tend to the injured Billy Jack. They have to help Haynes to the dressing room as he continues to gush blood.
WINNERS: NEW NORTHWEST TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS THE CLAN
NORTHWEST HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
TOM ZENK VS. CURT HENNIG
The big news to start with is that Curt Hennig arrives WITHOUT the Northwest Heavyweight Title, telling Don Owen that he doesn’t want The Z-Man to steal it again. Zenk is having none of it as he hits the ring and tackles Hennig for some rights and lefts. Tom Zenk takes control after he is able to catch the challenger with three quick arm drags and then he dropkicks Hennig as Curt stumbles back to his feet. Tom Zenk leaps into the air and catches the champion with a flying head scissors and then applies a leg-scissors around the head while on the canvas.
However, Curt Hennig always knows where he is in the ring, so he is able to move towards the ropes and put his right leg on the bottom rope. Referee Buddy Rose forces The Z-Man to break the hold, but Z-Man is immediately on top of Hennig and he catches the challenger with a series of kicks to the chest. Tom Zenk brings Curt Hennig up to his feet, but Hennig rebounds by hooking Zenk’s tights and body-slamming him in the center of the ring.
Curt Hennig measures the fallen Tom Zenk and lands two knee drops to the face and he looks ready to nail a third one. Curt Hennig stalls a bit and Tom Zenk is able to move out of the way of his third knee drop attempt. Both men are slow to their feet and once they’re both standing, Hennig looks to be going for a running clothesline. However, Tom Zenk sees this coming and he dodges the blow and uses Hennig’s own momentum to lift him into the air and drop him throat first across the top rope throat-first. It takes an exhausted Zenk several seconds to make the cover, and Hennig is able to kick out.
This battle has taken a lot of out both as they fight their way back to their feet again. Curt Hennig goes to hook Zenk into the Fisherman’s Suplex, but Tom hurls Hennig off the ropes and drills the challenger with a flying forearm smash. The Z-Man is calling for the end here as he pulls Curt Hennig to his knees – but oh my! Hennig rears back and kicks Zenk with all his might between the legs and it in full view of referee Buddy Rose! The Playboy has no choice but to call for the disqualification! And even before the bell stops ringing, Curt Hennig is out of the ring and storming off to the dressing room! Tom Zenk technically wins, but he’s down on the canvas here and he STILL doesn’t have his belt.

WWA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH
RICK MARTEL VS. PAUL ORNDORFF
Remember fans, Paul Orndorff has promised to win the World Title and abandon Portland for bigger cities like New York and Los Angeles. These two go to lock up – but Orndorff boots Martel in the gut to take a cheap shot. Paul Orndorff works Rick Martel over in the corner for a few minutes and then throws him out to the floor and rams him into the steel post. Mr. Wonderful slams Rick Martel on the floor and then rolls back into the ring. Rick Martel does manage to make it back to the ring, but Paul Orndorff is right on top of him with stomps to the back of the head.
Mr. Wonderful spends a few more minutes roughing up Rick Martel and then he calls for the pile-driver. However, when he goes for it, Rick Martel back drops his way out of it and Mr. Wonderful smashes into the canvas. Rick Martel then pulls Paul Orndorff up and plants him with a series of suplexes and then drives him to the canvas with a belly-to-belly suplex for a two count. Mr. Wonderful tries to get back to his feet, but Rick Martel hip-locks him, pops the hips and drives Paul Orndorff into the canvas with a belly-to-back suplex. Martel bridges into a pin for the 1-23! The Portland Special end with a huge win for World Champion Rick Martel.
